He sped up, the forest scenery becoming almost a blur. As he ran, a flash of white caught his attention. Digging his feet into the earth to get himself to stop, he saw a pretty white haired girl up in the trees. She looks kind of familiar... where have I seen her before?
"Hey, Eden! Hold on a second!"
He crawled nearer to where the mystery girl sat high up in a tree. She was watching them play.
"Eden, does she look familiar to you? Who is that?"

Elesh's ears stared to rotate around, picking up any sound of some notice. The sound of Pav and Eden at play made her tilt her head to the side some, but didn't spark any intrest. Some movement from the guards, the usual. She sighed to herself. The bat had always wondered what the air outside this place felt like. A different current, a different feel or a different smell. Either way the likelyhood of her getting out of this place was minimal to none unless something when right in the world. A strong flap of her large wings lifted her above the trees as selesh soared above the tree,as she tried to clear her mind.
"Hi Everybody!" Still echoes in her ears. Joanne knew which subject this proud voice came from, but her name is currently in the dark to her. She would've replied, but decided not to. Minutes later, she could hear them playing tag.
"All this running around and chasing each other... I can't remember the last time I did that." She whispers to herself. "I might be able to join..."
"...But after this book, of course."
'The Eyes Inside' is the title of the new romantic novel that Joanne is allowed to read. All she needs now is a quiet place to read it. But that seems to be impossible at the moment. Every corner, tree and rock in this area seems to be good hiding places bound to be used by the others.
"...The trees. I can climb them." Again, she whispers, trying not to give anyone nearby her idea.
She walks towards the nearest oak, and with her standard-sized claws slightly protruding her fingertips, Joanne manages to climb a few branches up, ranking them with comfortableness on the way. Finally, she reaches a sturdy looking branch, seemingly wide enough to surface her whole back from the ground below. She climbs on and easily finds the comfort spot. Then she takes out the book and starts reading.
"Thank god they let me keep my thumbs, or this would've been hard."
Aello underwent examinations on a regular schedule. Every month, they would pluck feathers and take blood from her. There was no privicy in tese examintaions, as if they werent even looking at a teenage girl. They man-handled her and tossed her aournd, Some of the doctors would even grope and fondle her while she was sedated. To them she was just "The Patient" or under their breaths "The Bird B****." There was no way she was headed back by choice. Now all she could do was wait...they always sent someone after her when she wouldn't come back. Good, I was in the mood to F*** up one of these stupid gaurds.

"Oh..." she said as she searched her memory. Nothing. "Ah... no..."

Just then she hears some twigs snap behind her. Fury flares up inside her as she turns toward the sound. Its a gaurd, her plume flares up and she spreads her wings out, crouching down-bracing herelf to take flight. I'll kill the fool But then he speaks to her...His voice is kind and different from the doctors. She is entranced for a moment, but only a momemt.
"WHY SHOULD I??? Here I have a propsal for you, Ill pull out some of your hair and make you bleed and you see how fun it is," she hissed back.
This is what i f****** get for trying to make friends Aello has no idea whether the two behind her are still there are not...for their sakes she hopes they ran.
As much as she'd usually love the company, today wasn't such a bright day for her. She slowly looks around.
Maybe it's just the bird-like subject flying around... She looks up. No sign of her.
Ok... maybe the subjects playing tag are nearby. She sniffs the air. No animal-like scent.
This is weird. I know there's someone around. But it's not a subject. Who could this be?
Joanne decides the reading can be saved for later. She puts the book back into her small satchel, along with her other "adventuring equipment". She leaps down to the forest floor, landing on her hands and sneakers. As she stands, she glances everywhere in a calm fashion.
This is too weird.

"Yes, I am Krein" he finally said, barely spreading his lips to speak so that the inside of his mouth could not be seen, "And you are....?" he started, but trailed off as he could not exactly remember this person.
He stood for a moment thinking, his memory was not the best, especially when it came to people and their names, it would have to be repeated multiple times before he could come close to remembering. He felt the atmosphere grow awkward and thought that he should try and remember quick. In the end he could only draw a blank, a few times it felt as if it were on the tip of his tongue, but that feeling would fade as soon as it had arrived.
"I'm sorry" he said, as all his attempts to remember were for not, he felt as if he were being a bit rude unable to remember the person's name when they knew his.

"You're huge," he said stupidly, staring up at the man. Him being on all fours made Kylar seem even bigger than he was. "That's so cool!"

Not taking any chances, she starts to run away from the sudden sound. This is beginning to get scary. She thinks.
Looking back every now and then to check if anyone is trailing her, she starts to wonder if the strange sensation was a guard. But a guard here isn't so normal.
What if they're trying to put us back in the lab?
The thought was too scary. She picked up her speed, crouching down to an all fours sprint.
She looks back one last time.
Then she feels the sudden pain of running straight into someone.

The bat-like woman landed on the top of a tree and slipped among the branches toward a low hanging branch to then hang by her hind paws up side down. She could see them from were she was and freely let her large wings hang and drag across the ground to relax. Mental note started to click in her mind. One was very larg, a male, another fairly young, two females and another canid looking male. She sighed from her perch, waving one free hanging hand in their direction.

Of course, they could never do it. One day, Lucy got violent and killed a guard because she wasn't sleepy and wanted to play. Josh never saw her since, but he has many theories. She could have been killed, as many dangerous hybrids are, or she is being chained up in the Dark Place, or maybe she escaped. Ever since, Josh wanted to find out 'cause he's always so curious. Once they talked about red things, and the first thing she said was "Blood".

"I guess not, but still the tallest man I've seen."
His sensitive ears picked up the sound of the buzzer. He twitched a bit, reacting instinctively to it, but shook his head, and getting it out of his head. The tremor in his left hand, of which he had no control over, was as strong as ever.

The guard walked the halls, searching for something. His Target? A Diamond that illuminates like the Moon, but has a drop of Ruby stuck inside it, making it look like a drop of blood on the moon. It's called Twighlight Drop, but other people call it Vampire's Mess, as if a Vampire spilled Blood on the Moon.
Aparently the dirrector of some crazed Facility owns it. All Diamonte had to do was slip the note under the door. Diamonte walked on front of the office and turned, and started heading for the exit. He was dressed as a Guard. Diamonte had been researching and in disguise exploring the Facility for a while now, and it was creepy. Animal-Human Hybrids? Creepy. At least it can help him.

He looked back at Kylar, all his sharp teeth visible in his wide grin.
Suddenly, the buzzer on his anklet sounded. He knows what that meant: Come back to the facility. It's time 'therapy'. At least, that's what the doctors called it. All it really meant was overloading him with sounds, images, smells, touch... everything, till he could hardly take it anymore. Pavel wasn't sure what the purpose of this 'therapy' was... but what he did know was that it hurt... a lot. The therapy classes only happened every few months... and it was now the time again.
His grin dropped, and Pavel looked down, beginning to tremble. Only Eden knew about these sessions, only her and the few other subjects he knew.
"I-- I have t-to go..." Pavel stuttered, turning around to face the Facility, but froze there, fear holding him in place. Killing... that was easy. Pain, much more difficult to deal with.
