Ren Matsuo

As Ren winked at her from the time he entered the classroom, he was really disappointed that she didn't winked back at him. Was she mad? He didn't know but he really wanted to talk to her more, but as she avoided his glance, he just felt slight disappointment so he asked her if the spot next to her was free.

"No its not."

Another disappontment feeling pressed against his heart, but he smiled back at her. "Oh, that's too bad. Although I wanted to sit next to you because you are interesting!", he bluntly stated with a smile and sat in front of her, still facing her, wanted to show her the drawing he had made for her.

"Oh Matsuo-san I heard you were good with math I was wondering if you could help me?"

He stopped to look for the page and looked up at her and he met her glance and he smiled. He was very delighted that she wanted help from him. "I don't know if I am good at math, but I'll do the best to help you, Miss Navigator!" He quickly laughed as he blurted it out.

"Ups, sorry, I mean, Jayson- san. It just..." His interrupted himself with a small laugh and he showed her the drawing he had made.

"This is Rei.." He pointed to a female pirate that looked like a boy. "This is Izumi- san..." Tipping his finger on a very gentleman like person with a fist in front of his eyes. "Mr. Roland King who is very nice to me today by the way!" Showing her a nice looking guy with a pidgeot on his shoulders. Then he showed himself in a cooks costume. "I am the chef of the ship!" He proudly stated. After that he pointed at a girl, very similiar looking to Jayson and wear a pirate costume and holding a map.

He grinned. "That's you! Hope you don't mind me borrowing your lovely face." He smiled happy. "You are the navigator of the ship for my next story, that's why I had mistaken calling you Miss Navigator!"

Then he placed the drawing by side and asked her eager: "So how can I help you, Jayson- san?"

After spending nearly twenty minutes cuddled up against the hidden part of the school with Jon, Jon tells her that she should wipe off her make-up in the bathroom, he said that it would make her feel better. Cossette nodded her head and stood up, she was really dizzy. She walked towards the school building.

"I hope no one finds out that I was the way I was with Jon."Cossette whispered to herself. She was disgusted with herself but she did truly feel better feeling Jon's warm embrace around her. She was frustrated with everything, with school. She was so sick of everything, but Jon. Jon made her happy and she could be around him for as long as she lived. But everything else seemed to bother her, she didn't quite understand that but as long as no one got into her way, she was fine.

She approached the back doors and stopped about ten feet away. She looked up at the tall building, sighed and entered. There wasn't anyone in the halls that she could see. Thank god.
She entered the girls washroom and quickly washed off her face with soap, she looked in the little mirror that was provided by the school in the women's washroom.
She stood there and stared at her natural face... She asked herself, "Am I content with who I am...?"
She stared a little while longer... I am happy with who I am, I shouldn't wish that I was different, I should embrace me as myself. From now on, I shouldn't care what every one else thinks. I will be my own person, I will stand up for who I am.
Cossette smiled and pulled out a little black pouch out of her sweater pocket and applied eyeliner and purple eyeshadow to her face.

She walked out of the bathroom and turned left to go back to class but her head was turned right looking down the empty hallway, she tripped over her shoelace.
She turned to see Rei right there but she was too close to falling to not hit her, she tried to soften her fall but ended up punching Rei in the face. Rei screamed in pain and Cossette regained her balance, she was speechless, she didn't know if she should apologize or run away. Before she knew it, Rei grabbed Cossette's hair and smashed it into a bench, Cossette screamed louder than Rei.
Cossette struggled to get free, with a bloody nose she grabbed Rei's shirt and yanked her to the ground and was just beating on Rei, both of them screaming like mad women, the fight carried on and Rei was ontop on Cossette and it was just a nightmare.
Cossette heard footsteps in the distance, and a voice that belonged to Izumi, Rei's cousin...
"REI! REI! GET OFF OF HER!" Izumi was rushing to the scene of a blood massacre of two young girls.
Cossette heard another voice that belonged to Jon... "COSSETTE!" He shouted her name.

The two girls were so loud that she knew that Mr. Roland King heard and so did the entire class, even the junior class heard and they were at the end of the hallway. Cossette wouldn't be surprised if Amai-san and Joshua-san could hear them.

Jayson at first felt bad but she was scared that one he'd the scar and two she'd make a fool of herself if she spoke to him. She was soon confused by his early statement about ger but when she saw the picture she looked up at him and smiled. "Wow Ren you're a really good artist." She noticed how fondly she spoke to him and blushed lightly. "U-Uh sorry I meant Ren-san." she looked down now embarassesed and finally replied back to what heclast said. "Actually I need help with a lot of Mr. King's work. If you don't want to help me I understand." Jayson looked up at him for the first part but at the end of her statement she looked down again embarassed.

Rei Tabara ~ Izumi Mayaru

Izumi heard the bell ring, signifying lunch, before grabbing his cousin, and running away, doing a quick and slightly embarrassed apology for what just happened. He had to have a serious talk with her about what just happened, 'S-she's never one to get in a fight with someone so early... That's more likely me actually...' He got a bit anxious that his younger cousin was beginning to take after him, and that made him think that he was becoming an influence, but a bad influence.

Rei didn't know what happened, still being in a daze from the fight before Izumi tapped her head, a bit gently, but hard enough that she'd snap out of it. Now usually, Izumi would keep his cool and just say something like, 'Don't do that again,' but this was getting a little too serious, "Oi! What the hell did you think you were doing! That girl just tripped by accident! Nothing more and then you decided to make a riot out of it! Are you going out of your mind, Rei!"

The girl was still in a daze though, her eyes just staring into space as she rubbed her cheek that got punched and asked silently, "What... what just happened..." Apparently, she didn't remember a single thing at all. She remembers hurting someone, but that someone, was the bully that made fun of her height just before class ended. She didn't realize she was hurting Cossette, a girl she hardly even knew.

"Auvergne-san just tripped and accidentally hit you in the process of falling, but you took the wrong idea, and hit he back, then the two of you got into this huge cat fight... Both of you are pretty badly injured..." Izumi said, calming himself down and speaking in a more gentle tone towards his cousin.

'Then... Rei began to realize and remember what had gone on, 'Who I just beat up... wasn't that bully...? I just hit an innocent person!? You're kidding!' Most times, she's shrug this off, do a polite apology, but a whole bunch of students saw her. To apologize would probably be too late. She usually didn't care about her reputation throughout the school, but her reputation was being a smiling idiot, and not someone who punched innocent people when they simply bumped into her.

"Y-You're kidding..." Rei said slowly, a bit of a horrified look on her face, "B-But I was hitting that guy who made fun of me just before our first class ended... i-isn't that right?"

Izumi looked at her with pity for his cousin, and shook his head, "No. You weren't... I guess you were still angry at that moment, and all that was on your mind was teaching that guy a lesson, so when Auvergne-san bumped into you, you immediately thought it was him, and didn't even pay attention that the two look completely different until now..."

Rei felt a rush of guilt past her before she put her hand over her forehead, slightly covering her eyes, and let out a very, very long sigh, not knowing what to do, 'If I apologized, I'd look like a total idiot! And everyone saw what happened... I guess i won't be known as the idiot any more... B-but Auvergne-san... she got hurt really badly too, didn't she...?'

"Come on." He put a hand on her shoulder, "Lets go back. Remember, you have some new friends today, don't you? It's about time you got to know them a little better. You encouraged me to even teach one of them to fight, you're going to accompany us after school for the lessons too, aren't you? So come on, let's get going-"

"Are you serious...?" Rei asked a frown on her face, "I had new friends. After getting into that fight... I doubt they'd even recognize me as a person at this school... You go ahead. You didn't get into the fight. Make friends with them in my place, alright? A-ah... and be sure to grab Goldsworthy-san, Kimura-san, with Walker-san and Nakamura-san also... I'm sure you'd all get along, right?"

"H-Hey, you're the one who first suggested it, so take responsibility and-"

He was cut off when his cousin already began to walk, heading towards the music room where she would usually eat alone if she was ever depressed and needed some time to think to herself, 'Well... so much for a good start of the year huh...' She sighed.

Izumi was a bit hesitant on leaving his cousin alone, since she never left him alone, but shook his head, and decided he'd talk to her about it after school as he headed towards the roof, calling to the few people he was requested to invite, "Nakamura-san, Matsuo-san, Goldsworthy-san, um... Walker-san, and... ah, and Kimura-san, I'm waiting for you all on the roof."

Jon looked at Cossette she was pretty beat up her self worse off than Rei he saw Izumi take Rei away who seemed a bit dazed herself. He decided he would talk to him later and find out what happened. Picking up Cossette Jon carried Cossette over close to the bathrooms he went into the bathroom and took out a paper towels and wetted them and went back to Cossette wiping away the blood on her face. He was worried, but he was focused on Cossette and her wounds to be worrying about his own emotions he would get answers later for now he was doing this. After wiping away the blood Jon was able to find where Cossette was hurt at most of it was bad swelling and a few minor scratches then there were a few cuts that didn't stop bleeding pulling out a few band-aids he took from the nurses he placed them on the cuts. What worried Jon the most was Cossette's crooked nose it wasn't broken but it was out of place. With a quick movement Jon moved her nose back into place with it making a small pop. Cossette whimpered a bit from it Jon gently shushed her. After taking care of her Jon took a paper towel and made it soaking wet then squeezing it he let the water splashed on her face waking her up. Jon kissed Cossette on the forehead "Feel better there Rockey?" he picked up Cossette and placed her in his arms.



Mr. King walked out at the screaming to find two students fighting brat's Cossette and Rei and then he saw punk's Izumi and Jon holding them back. Then as soon as he saw it he saw Izumi take Rei away and Jon takes Cossette away. He didn't even have time to react to any of it. He was furious and then he heard the bell ring and the hallway flooded and emptied at the quickest movement. In rage Mr. King walked back into his classroom kicking his chair into the wall leaving a sizable hole. He had to talk to another teacher but someone who wouldn't stab him in the back his mind went immediately to Susanna his co-worker. Walking in a storm to her class he bursted in almost yelling "I think I quit!"

Everything was a blur from when she last heard Jon's voice. She remembers Izumi pulling Rei away, but she is so dizzy, her vision is fading in and out, she has fallen to the ground. Rei was really good at fighting... But that didn't surprise her... Izumi was an amazing fighter.
Light moans of pain, she couldn't even move if she tried, it hurt to much; she just lied there. She just wanted to die, Cossette doesn't even remember how it even started...
Okay, I remember... Jon telling me to wipe my face, I went inside... No one was in the hallway. I washed my face and applied more makeup, I was leaving and I tripped over something, tried to soften my fall and punched Rei in the face. Cossette let out a slight bit of air then moaned again, her ribs were killing her. Where did she get all of that strength from? This is all my fault... A tear raced down her cheek. She couldn't even believe the pain she was in. She is one stong girl... Cossette thought to herself. She was still laying down in the hallway, until she saw Jon kneel over her bloody body, he was shouting something... But she had already blacked out.

She woke up moaning in pain, she looked up to see Jon. Is he crying...? Cossette cringed up at his eyes. His eyes are really glossy. Jon hushed her and said it would be alright.
"Feeing better there, Rockey?" Jon held her close, she moaned with every movement.
"I felt better unconsious to be quite honest... The pain..." Cossette's lips barely moved when she talked, her jaw stiffened every time she opened her mouth.
"This was my fault you know... I fell into Rei." Cossette was able to say those words. She just couldn't talk anymore, the pain of this really strong girl was making Cossette's eyes water and run down her cheek.
Before Jon could say anything, Cossette pulled up her shirt... She didn't mind if he was her bra. It was just a bra... Cossette moving as fast as her body would let her, exposed her bruises; the bruises that Rei gave her. She had a hard time breathing, the bruises were a dark purple and brownish colour.
Jon's face flushed, he couldn't believe his eyes either. He lightly touched all of the bruises, Cossette flinched at every touch, grit her teeth and whimpered.
He stopped... "This is worse than I thought... She heard Jon whisper. Cossette wanted to tell him that her ankle was screwed up to but she couldn't bring herself to do so. He lifted her up once again, everything was fading out... She was going to go unconsious again... The last thing she heard was Jon calling for Mr. Roland King.
She knew it wasn't anything thay serious, but it feels like hell to her, she knew it could be a lot worse. She would be sore for a while. She was actually glad that Izumi was there to stop her.
Cossette was always a little over dramatic but it seriously was the worst for her because that is the worst she has ever experienced. She knew she would be fine, her wounds were pretty bad but nothing really life threatening, she felt like she was going to die when she blacked out. She wished that it felt as bad as it looked, on the outside it looks like she got beaten up pretty bad. On the inside... She felt like dying!








The class bell rang, Ms. Susanna dismissed her class and they left almost immidiately.
She heard commotion earlier just before the bell rang for lunch but didn't have the time to investigate it.
She assumed that her good co-worker friend would take care of it.
She was sitting at her desk, organizing papers for history when Mr. Roland King nearly burst into her classroom; enraged he stopped right in front of her desk.
Susanna's face flushed and she stood up and rushed over to him, she was very concerned. She placed her hand on the shoulder of her co-worker... "Roland..." she squeezed his shoulder, "What is wrong, are you okay? What happened?"
Roland King turned and faced her direction and sighed.

Roland sighed he was still fumed about his students but the way Susanna talked to him made him relax a little "Damn students there was a fight between two brats and they got away in a matter of seconds. I will talk to them later but is ridiculous how these kids behave I mean in my teen years no one was this crazy I mean one word out of line and WHACK the ruler hits you in the face for opening your mouth." Roland sat down on top of one of the student desks and in came the punk himself with brat Cossette. Jon looked to Mr. King and told him she went out cold. From where he sat he saw that Cossette was beat up bad but nothing dangerous. But just to entertain Jon Roland looked at Cossette as if he were serious about it then looking at her he saw the bruising on her ribs and shrugged telling Jon what he thought "The worst she could have is a couple of bruised ribs maybe a concussion,but I doubt that. She will suck it up and heal maybe in a few weeks no more fights! Now I want you to find out what happened and have Rei and Cossette fill out a three page letter to each other apologizing. Then a ten page letter to me apologizing for interrupting my class and screaming on top of their lungs then running off! Front and back!" Roland knew Jon would tell Cossette and pass it on to Rei he sighed he was letting them off easy, but he had a soft spot for these kids the odd ones of the school. Jon left the class room with Cossette and set her down gently on the stairs and waited for her to wake up. Roland looked at his Co-worker "Don't judge it's pointless to get those students kicked from the school for a fight."

Ren Matsuo

"Wow Ren you're a really good artist."

As she smiled at him and even complimented him, he couldn't help but having a big grin on his face, being very delighted hearing that. "Thank you sooo much! I am very happy hearing from you. Thanks a bunch." He stated happily and now even looked closer at Jayson. He never noticed what a beautiful face she had. And then as she blushed, Ren surprised looked at her, finding it very amusing.

"U-Uh sorry I meant Ren-san." She looked down now embarassed.

Ren laughed looked at her patting her head as she looked down, it was just too inviting for him not to do that. "Don't worry! I'll call you Jayson- chan from now on too! So please, call me Ren." He bagged her. He doesn't want her to feel embarassed, nor feeling uncomfortable being with him. He really wanted to be her friend and know her better, because he got really interested at her seeing her amusing face changes.

"Actually I need help with a lot of Mr. King's work. If you don't want to help me I understand." Jayson looked up at him for the first part but at the end of her statement she looked down again embarassed.

Ren couldn't help but looking at her a bit disappointed"If, if and another if. Even Rei said that. She said 'If you don't want to be our friend, it's alright'.", he remembered it and must poundering a bit. He clearly didn't liked it. Then he looked at Jayson, but seeing her looking down again, he just had to lift her head with touching her chin softly so she looked at his eyes, as he stated: "Please, I would be delighted to help you. Don't be like that. We are already friends... right?" He glanced at her, all serious looking at her eyes very closely, not wanting her to avoid his face again and wanting the confirmation about his last sentence. He stayed like that, the commotion outside seem not to reach him. But then...

"Nakamura-san, Matsuo-san, Goldsworthy-san, ah, and Kimura-san, I'm waiting for you all on the roof."

Ren immadiatly let go of Jayson and finally get all the situation. He.. helt her face. He never was so near to a girl before, he was sightly a bit embarassed, but not wanting Jayson to see his red face, he quickly whirled around and waved at Izumi.

"Hey Sensei! Me and Jayson- chan will be there..." Calmed down a bit, Ren dared to peek at Jayson wanting confirmation... "... right?"

Jayson ignored the chaotic sounds outside and focused on her conversation with Ren.

"Don't worry! I'll call you Jayson- chan from now on too! So please, call me Ren." She smiled when he said this.

"Or you can just call me Jay-chan or just Jay." When she felt him lift her chin her face had resembled a tomato. She was about to reply when suddenly she heard Izumi call out, "Nakamura-san, Matsuo-san, Goldsworthy-san, ah, and Kimura-san, I'm waiting for you all on the roof.".

She quickly got a hold of herself when Ren turned to answer and when he turned back to her, directing a question at her, she took a moment before answering. She smiled lightly at him. "Of course we're friends Ren now lets head up to the roof yeah?" Jayson was happy to actually have someone want to be her friend especially someone as nice and interesting as Ren. She grabbed his arm and tugged lightly. "Lets go."

"Mmmmph." Cossette squints. She was propped up, sitting on the stairs with her back against the wall. She, sees Jon. Nearly passed out on two steps above her, he was positioned the same way she was. But it looks like he was sleeping. She pulls out her phone, 12:13pm. "I still can't believe I got into a fight, just half an hour ago." Cossette whispered.
"Hmm?" Jon looked over at her.
"Oh, you're awake?" Jon's voice surprised her.
"Me awake? I should be asking you? How are you feeling?" Jon stretched and sat beside her.
" My jaw is stiff when I talk, I am really sore but I think I will be okay. How long was I out for...?" Cossette made room beside her so that Jon could sit beside her and put his arm around her.
"The first time? About 10 mintues... The second time..." Jon pulls out his phone and checks the time, "About 15 give or take." Jon sighed a pulled Cossette close to her.
"Ow, ow, ow, ow... Watch out. Still sore; will probably be for a while now. Damn that girl is strong." Cossette pulled away and they just sat there on the stairs. Cossette was starting to get hungry but she doesn't want people to see her face.
She had busted lip and a black eye. She had a few bandages on her face for the scratches, Jon placed them there. She wiped the dry blood from her nose and wondered how bad Rei was. She examined the few bruises on her ribs, she was going to be fine. Then Jon told her about Mr. Roland King and the paperwork that she had to fill out.
That didn't make Cossette feel any better, the day she just had... She wanted to go right to Mr. Roland King and explained what happened. I think I'll do that, later. Cossette thought.
She suddenly remembered what she said to herself in the mirror. "I am happy with who I am, I shouldn't wish that I was different, I should embrace me as myself. From now on, I shouldn't care what every one else thinks. I will be my own person, I will stand up for who I am." Cossette said out loud.
"That was, nice... But very random." Jon looked at her and laughed.
"My point is, let's go to lunch. I don't care what my face looks like, I am still alive and it isn't like the fight was entirely my fault. It will work out, I mean, I think I've almost gotten over this shyness." Cossette smiled about to get up and walk to the lunch room, stumbled down the stairs, then began laughing despite all of her pains and aches.
Jon jogged down the stairs and laughed with her.
"Well aren't you having a great day?" Jon helped Cossette to her feet.
"I forgot about my ankle. After all of this crap, I have to laugh at some point, right?" Cossette wrapped her arm around Jon's arm and used him as support to walk around. She was sure that he didn't mind.

Roland told her what happened, she couldn't believe what she had heard. Susanna liked her co-worker Roland, he was good to talk to. He actually has a soft side but he doesn't reveal to many people.
She has always admired his method of teaching, he was just so strict and didn't care what students thought about him YET he still cares about his students.
Young Jon walked into her classroom holding Cossette in his arms.
"She's out cold." Jon said looking down at the young girl.
Susanna didn't know what to say, she just let Roland do all of the talking. She sat on one of the students desks and just examined Cossette. She was pretty beaten up, nothing dangerous though. She'd be alright, but it was still shocking because Susanna has just seen the girl an hour earlier with not even a scratch on her.
Roland dismissed Jon with all of his information about what Cossette needs to do when she wakes up, she knew that Cossette was going to very sore for the next few weeks.
Roland sighed and sat down at the desk next to Susanna. Cursing under his breath... "...Brats..."
and honestly Susanna was thinking the same thing, the kids were getting out of control, Susanna sighed and scooted her chair right next to Roland.
"I know things are stressful right now, and your headache probably didn't get any better. But hey... I am always here if you need someone to talk to. You are my co-worker and a really good friend of mine." Susanna said solemnly to Roland.
He just smiled, Susanna wasn't expecting any sort of special response anyways.
Susanna looked around her classroom to see if any students were around, nothing. She leaned in close to Roland and whispered...

"How about we go to the bar after work? I'm paying." Susanna smiled and Roland looked at her utterly surprised. He definitely did not expect to hear that from her.
"What...?" Susanna smiled. "I have another side to me aswell, we're just friends... Two co-workers; going out for a drink. So what do you think?" Susanna sat with her elbows on the table and playing with her long blue hair using her fingers. She loved the look on his face when he was surprised because nothing really surprised him.

Ren Matsuo

"Or you can just call me Jay-chan or just Jay."

"Jay- chan... sounds sweet." Ren honestly stated and smiled.

When she felt him lift her chin her face had resembled a tomato. But Ren didn't noticed it, he was embarassed by himself.

She quickly got a hold of herself when Ren turned to answer and when he turned back to her, directing a question at her, she took a moment before answering. She smiled lightly at him. "Of course we're friends Ren now lets head up to the roof yeah?"

The moment she took to answer was a very dangerous moment. Ren was scared that she do say she doesn't want to befriend with him. But as she said they were friends, Ren was very happy and smiled at her.

Jayson was happy to actually have someone want to be her friend especially someone as nice and interesting as Ren. She grabbed his arm and tugged lightly. "Let's go."

Ren wasn't embarassed anymore that she grabbed her hand. They were friends after all right? Friends do these things casually, he thought and grabbed her hand tightly.

"So now that we are friends, I can help you even more with math!" Ren stated and ran in front, pulling her along to the roof and finally as they reached the roof door, Ren opened it and let Jayson enter first. "Ladies first." Then he laughed. "I saw that in TV and really wanted to do it too. So, Lady Jay- chan, please enter first."

[Classroom => Roof]

Jayson had ran with him to the roof listening to what he said as they ran. When he opened the door for her she did a mock curtsy.

"Why thank you kind sir." She laughed lightly as she walked out to the roof. Jayson looked around the roof almost in awe.

"Wow. I've never been up here before. Its pretty cool." Jayson looked around to see where Izumi and the others he called were. "I wonder if Rei will be here." Jayson had heard Rei yelling when the commoton in the hallway was occruring but she didn't know what exactly happened but she hoped Rei was alright.

"Oh and Mr.King was the one who told me that you were good math." She turned to Ren after speaking and smiled. "I'm glad you'll be able to help me with math and I'm glad we're friends."

Ren Matsuo

"Why thank you kind sir." She laughed lightly as she walked out to the roof.

Ren smiled as she entered and was like Jayson very delighted to see the view. He never was up there and enjoyed the wind blowing.

"Wow. I've never been up here before. Its pretty cool."

"Yeah, me too. It's awesome!" He stood behind Jayson and made a pose like her and the view into a photo and grinned. It would be a very nice picture. He already looked forward to draw that and took out his drawing block and sit down, leaning against a wall, hearing Jayson saying:

"I wonder if Rei will be here."

"Whatcha mean by that?" Ren completely didn't notice the ruckus and was now very confused. "Rei always sticks with Sensei! Eh, I mean Izumi- san! Why do you think she doesn't come?" He frowned looking up to Jayson.

"Oh and Mr.King was the one who told me that you were good math."

Am I? Ren didn't know if he is good at math, but he just nodded, wanted to help her. "If Mr. King said that, it sure be true! He is a nice teacher after all, right?"

I'm glad you'll be able to help me with math and I'm glad we're friends."

Ren smiled to her being a bit red. He was really happy that she thought of him as a friend. It was a very good day, he thought and answered with a bright smile. "That's for sure! You are a buddy after all now!" Then he winked her to him and patted on the ground next to him. "Here Jay- chan, sit next to me please!"

As Oishi and Yumi come to the roof, Ren winked at Oishi very excited. "Oishi- san! Hello again!" and as Yumi greeted him, he greeted back with glee. Mr. King mentioned her before that she is very kind, and it seems like it was the truth.
As Yumi walked to Izumi worried, asking about Rei, Ren could just frown very bothered by it, didn't hear anything about that before. When did it happen? What did he missed? Ren really wanted to know and looked at Jayson with eyes that questioned the whole situation, hoping he will become a logic explaination.

Roland looked at her with a face of shock he really was caught off guard normally a woman like Susanna wouldn't ask him for a drink. Roland was going to accept when he remembered today was a school day and he made a promise he wouldn't drink on a school day. He calmly regained his thoughts now it was his turn to catch her by surprise "I don't drink on a school day,but I will take you for dinner my house I am an excellent cook and afterwards a movie?" he put his hands on her desk and leaned against it. He has a devilish grin on his face he may have been caught off guard, but he was always quick to respond in a cool manner. Looking at the her desk he saw the doll he gave her was missing he gave it to her to screw around with the punk Jon knowing that Jon hated and feared inanimate objects facing him.

Jon saw Cossette going to the lunch room and shook his head "No like I said do you like hamburgers because I know of this wonderful burger place Americans run the place and if there is one thing an American knows what to do is how to make a good burger." he started to lead her away from the school and towards the gates.

Izumi Mayaru

Izumi loved the roof the most, even though he didn't show it in front of many people until he would finally warm up to them. The view was nice, you could see the whole entire school, and the city and neighborhoods just behind it. It was funny that such a place was never occupied by people besides them; it was so beautiful and amazing, yet no one seemed to care, 'How strange...' He seemed to think to himself while spacing out a bit as the others entered from the door behind him.

"I wonder if Rei will be here."

Izumi sat down, not having much for a lunch other than a tiny piece of bread, which he was fine with having since he wasn't very hungry at that moment, and answered, "Tabara-san had a slight conflict, I'm sure you've heard, so she's just sorting it out with herself at the moment. She'll probably join us tomorrow." He said with a sigh, the horrifying thought coming to his head again which he couldn't push away.

After Ren and Jayson arrived at the top of the roof, they seemed to have been followed by Oishi and Yumi, both who looked like they were in a good, or at least decent mood. Until Yumi spotted him and a concerned expression, and he wondered if he did something wrong or something to offend her, 'I-I only recall inviting her to come up here is all...' He said, trying to remember if he accidentally said or did something that he couldn't remember.

But apparently that wasn't the case when she asked, "Mayaru-san... Is Tabara-san okay? She isn't hurt at all, is she? Where is she? Did she have to go to the hospital or something?!"

'Ah, it's about Rei...' He said, seeming to have let out a sigh of relief since he didn't do anything bad. After hearing all her fast and quick questions, Izumi nodded and answered, trying to force a smile though he was quite worried for his cousin, and the other girl as well, "She's fine. Just having a little internal conflict is all. Tabara-san is a tough little idiot, I doubt she's feeling any physical pain. As for where she is, I have no clue. I saw her walk off in the hallway, but I don't think I'd get an answer if I asked her location."

"She isn't at the hospital, please tell me she or Auvergne-san didn't have to go to the hospital!"

"N-No, I think they're both in an average condition." Izumi responded, a bit surprised she overreacted so much, although that was what he was feeling on the inside as well ; Anxious, worry, concern, "The two just need to get over the bruises and what such. Tabara-san will be fine, it's Auvergne-san that I'm worried about since Tabara-san can take a beating, but I'm most definitely worried about Auvergne-san's condition at the moment..." He said slowly, taking a small bit out of his bread.

Rei Tabra

"Ahhhhh, what the hell am I supposed to do!" She said, pacing herself back in forwards in the empty music room, unsure about what her next actions should be. Rei sat down on a chair, feeling much stress now, more than she has before and saying to herself out loud, "A-Auvergne-san must be angry... I can't apologize or I'd look like a little brat... And she must be pretty badly hurt too..."

Rei put a hand to her cheek where she was bit, by accident, and sighed, "It doesn't hurt.... But Auvergne-san...." She thought a little harder before getting frustrated again and running her hands through her hair, "Damn it... I'm feeling stressed out..." Rei leaned her head back, trying to calm down and relax so she could think rationally, and in the corner of her eye there was a small cello laying on the ground, 'Odd... No one's really been using the music room in a long time... Must be one of the old used ones they keep for storage...' She thought.

But Rei was a cellist, learning ever since elementary school, and she always enjoyed music, almost as much as her cousin did. Slowly, she got up from the chair and kneeled down near the instrument, studying the shape of it, and the strings if they were in good condition, 'They look playable...'

She hadn't played in such a long time, and mostly because she found it to be formal. Rei always listened to some strange type of music like rock or pop, nothing even similar to the lavishing orchestrated music a cello would play, and that's why she stopped for a while. But she always wanted to learn for one song in particular, and she did learn it, and memorized it, the song being the only reason why she still knew how to play.

"Maybe that'll help me calm down a bit...." Rei said, but first opened the door, glanced side to side, making sure no one was in the area since she didn't want to draw any more attention to herself, before shutting it closed, and picking up the cello, starting to play the classical piece she always loved, the one and only she always loved.

A piercing scream streaked through the halls and caused Takashi to wake up. Despite the noise waking him, he kept his eyes shut. He hated waking up, even if it wasn't a deafening scream that did it.

Takashi heard chairs scraping the ground as they went to see what was happening. Somewhere amongst the noise, he also heard the bell for lunch. After the whole commotion was over, he heard footsteps going in all different directions, as well as voices speaking in whispers, probably talking about what just happened.

As curious as Takashi was, he didn't really want to see what happened. He preferred to avoid drama as much as possible. I'll just ask about it later.

"Nakamura-san, Matsuo-san, Goldsworthy-san, um... Walker-san, and... ah, and Kimura-san, I'm waiting for you all on the roof."

Takashi shot open his eyes, finally irritated of just hearing things. Everyone had left except for Yumi, who was just leaving, and Izumi, who had just left the doorway.

Takashi was suddenly terrified. Wait, did he just say Nakamura-san and Goldsworthy-san? Is he trying to recreate what happened this morning? Oh, god, I'm going to jump off the roof and die! If I go up on the roof I'm going to be nearly surrounded by people that scare me! The only two that don't scare me are Matsuo-san and Walker-san! Mayaru-san scares me a little bit, but I'm still scared, so he counts... Wait, does he? I don't know-

"Kimura-san, are you coming to the roof as well?"

Takashi's thoughts were interrupted by Yumi. He felt a lump form in his throat.

Silence.

"Uh... Yes." Takashi said in a small voice. He was unsure if Yumi even heard him.

Yumi stared at the ground and walked away. I'm guessing she didn't hear me... Takashi shook his head and followed Yumi out the door, making sure he kept his distance. What's wrong with me? I'm pretty sure it's not going to kill me to be a foot within their reach! I need to get over it! Takashi was too busy thinking to notice Oishi was there or that he just walked through the door that Yumi had held open for him.

Once Takashi was on the roof, he said a quick and very quiet "Hello," to everyone, then fled to the corner of the roof, away from Yumi and Jayson.

Takashi couldn't hear what Jayson and Ren were saying because all he could hear was Izumi and Yumi. (OOC: Hey, that's fun to say... Izumi, Yumi, Izumi, Yumi... Izumi-Yumi! I'm amused. XD)

I don't think anyone knows I'm here yet... Takashi giggled quietly. Whenever someone didn't know he was there, he felt like he was on a mission to find out whatever he can. He found it amusing.

"I'm guessing Auvergne-san and Tabara-san got into a fight with someone, Mayaru-san?" He hated to give himself away, but he wanted to know if what he thought was right. "If so, I find that odd. Auvergne-san never struck me as the type of person to get in a fight."

Jon Sinclair helped Cossette walk around, he mentioned to her a nice burger place. Run by americans...? She thought, she was really hungry and didn't mind.
Although she isn't one for foods like that. She also doesn't eat well around other people, she trusted Jon. But she also just met him, they haven't talked much but she really liked him. He was different, she couldn't quite grasp what it was about him that she loved so much. He was quite intelligent, she is still feeling queezy about this new goal that she has set for herself, she doesn't like being that social, too many people judge and too many people critisize; she was bothered by critism.

"Sure, I'd love to Jon, it would be nice. But I don't carry money with me." Cossette reached around in her pockets.
As they walked out of the school, Cossette unzipped her sweater and exposed her black corsette with purple laces.
Shaking her sweater to see if any money fell out.
"Just my luck..." she drops her sweater and stares at it. She felt Jon's eyes looking at her because Cossette never took off her sweater. Then she gasped and smiled like an idiot, pulled out a twenty dollar bill out of her bra and giggled as Jon pretended like he wasn't looking.
"I forgot... I had money in there from yesterday." Cossette handed him the money, he was a little hesitant.





Susanna was actually surprised by Roland's invite. She didn't show it, she raised her eyebrows and responed... "If I am not mistaken, it sounds like you just asked me out..." Susanna threw her head back and laughed.
Without giving Roland a chance to respond to her responce. "Sure, I'll be there. But I am bringing wine. You don't have to drink but I sure as hell will." Susanna smurked. Although she seemed like Ms. Sunshine to her kids, well... Most of the time. Susanna was a normal person just like everyone else.
Roland was a very good co-worker of Susanna's. She enjoyed his company, he was so easy to talk to and very understanding and by the end of their conversation, they'll both be laughing and enjoying themselves.

Jon couldn't help but to look at Cossette's corset he never had seen one before, and well he found it very attractive on her. Taking the twenty dollar bill Jon only looked at it. He wondered how American currency got there then after staring at it for a while Jon finally took it from her. He led her out to the burger place and when he entered he was greeted right away like family hearing "Jonathan! My boy come here!" Jon with Cossette next to him went into the back and into the kitchen where he was greeted by a man who was tall, but shorter than Jon, tanned, well fit besides a small beer belly, and had a very American look to him. The man came up to Jon and gave him a large hug. Jon responded "Hey Al where's Holly? How are you?" The man smiled "Holly is home with Jr. and I am good. Who is this?" Jon motioned his hand towards Cossette and than placed his arm around her saying "This is Cossette. Al she and her met today." Al nodded with a smile and then Jon pulled out the twenty "I believe you might like this American currency Cossette had it, and she was going to give you it for payment. Al took the twenty and placed it safely in the register than pulled out the equal exchange rate in Yen and gave it to Cossette saying "You came with Jon you eat for free, but I would like the twenty I want to hang it up. Now go you two and wait out there Jon you want the norm what would you like Cossette?"


Roland nodded "I might have a glass of that wine. It's a date then Susanna I believe you know where I live I hosted the last staff party." Roland gave an inward sigh he was feeling better now.

(Getting fancy with the pictures and colors now... Anyways! Short note in my post! I was actually waiting for a few people to post since we have a lot of others, and I wanted to give them a chance too, but well... yeah. Anyways, for those that are still alive, I'm posting! Also, tagged all character to get them active if possible! ^u^)

Rei stopped playing the instrument in her hand, a dead and hard stop in the middle of the song. She didn't even finish, but she stopped and then took a deep breath before yelling, "It's way too quiet! There's a lack of people and I can't stand it!" She sighed, an annoyed tone to it, and put down the cello and bow before grabbing her lunch, thinking of eating, but then pausing. Rei wasn't exactly the type to think to herself, to instead, she said these things out loud, "It's too lonely also..."

She was always used to being surrounding by familiar and friendly faces, and she hardly ever ate alone. She didn't like the thought of it either. Did she really want to eat away from her new group? No, that was obvious. Instead, she sucked it up, "Then I'll apologize to her after school or something, when I get the free time! I'll explain things to them later!"

Rei slid open the door, a little too harshly before dashing down the halls. Lunch really just started, but she wanted to spend as much times as she possibly could with her new friends, if they still acknowledged her to be such. She reached the door to the roof, finally, and reached out her hand to go through, but then froze.

Again, she reconsidered. Would they really be alright if she joined them? After all, she did cause a fight, though she hardly realized what was going on. Perhaps only her cousin would understand since the two were practically like siblings who didn't fight. Still, not everyone was like that with her, especially since most of them just met. She didn't really know what to do, but deciding to put on an act, since she was fairly good at it, she opened the door, it hitting the wall forcefully, and exclaiming, "I'm back! Sorry for my absence! I got into a little trouble as you all know, but I swear I didn't mean it! I'm sure I'll say sorry to her later, for sure!" She grinned, though in the inside, she was shaking from what tension she suspected would come. She didn't like tension, or quiet situations. All of it just got her... to feel strange, and strange feelings weren't to her liking either.

"Yeah..." Izumi said, still worried for the two girls since none of them showed up (Yet.), "And... now that I think of it... Auvergne-san doesn't seem like someone to get into a fight..."

"You're right. She reminds me of a doll. She's so fragile looking, and her golden blonde hair, that seems to always be in beautiful, perfect curls...~ I'm almost jealous of her beauty. No! I'm not jealous! That would be rude. I mean, I'm not saying that it would be rude, because it's a human emotion and it's natural... But I shouldn't be jealous of her, because..."

At this, Izumi felt the mood lift a bit, or at least he felt the mood lift for him. Yumi apparently broke a part of the tension and made things less serious. As much as Izumi fought with other people and was used to a sort of tension which was similar to the one they had, he never really liked it.

"She is similar to a doll now that you bring it up... I never really noticed I guess. Then again, I don't exactly pay attention to class either." Izumi always looked like he was paying attention, but in reality, he wasn't, just spacing out as he stared at the teacher. Yet at the same time, he was quite smart, for his own reasons, unlike his cousin, and didn't need the education that he already learned before. He then let out a small laugh, slowly opening up to this little group he was in and said, "Calm down, your hair is fine in my opinion, but I don't exactly have much of an opinion on many things... Well, it's not bad to be jealous." He shrugged, "I'm jealous of a lot of people." He didn't explain or name names, mostly because it would be embarrassing, and then, his cousin bursted through the door.

"I'm back! Sorry for my absence! I got into a little trouble as you all know, but I swear I didn't mean it! I'm sure I'll say sorry to her later, for sure!"

The shout of his cousin made him jump, and almost have a heart attack since everyone talked in a normal pitch of voice until Rei came along and literally caused an earthquake. Izumi toned down a second later though, and took a deep breath before looking at his cousin, "You alright now? You still look beat up as always. Anyways, sit. Lunch just started so we have some time."

He didn't mind his cousin, mostly because he witnessed the whole thing. He took a glance at the others, pleading that they'd forgive her for causing trouble, though it'd usually be the backwards for him and Rei, but nevertheless, he hoped they'd take mercy on her for an accident she didn't realize herself in the beginning.

OOC: For anyone who's watched Hyouka, I'm sorry. I needed to have a little Chitanda moment there. xD
