Mason Bernardi had never been what one would call fashion conscientious, but this was getting ridiculous.

When he had awoken from the anesthesia he found himself now sporting the ugliest head gear he had ever seen in his natural life. It reminded him of those crazy homeless people that wore tin foil hats to prevent the government from getting into their minds or some crap like that. But according the lovely doctors, this did just opposite and prevented Mason from getting into the minds of others.

Now that would have been an awesome power, Mason thought with a grin. But alas it seemed God had bestowed on him a different gift, a gift that he was currently blocked from using thanks to this ugly meal headband which, Mason found out the hard way, would electrocute him if he tried to touch it.

But it wasn't the worst thing that had been done to him Mason was still pretty pissed about that tonic they gave him a few years ago that did nothing but turn his hair a dark purple.

Bastards probably did it on purpose.

Regardless, Mason wasn't about to let this get in way of his favorite pastime: Torturing the weaker minded patients of St. Josephina's Mental Institution. Though, it would be a tad more difficult with his new head gear, but he was sure he could figure out something. Most of them took one look and already freaked themselves out.

Mason chuckled to himself at the thought. He probably was a little wild looking. His unkempt hair had yet to see a proper brush and the last five years of experiments had turned his eyes into a rather hellish red. The only article of clothing he bothered to wear was a pair of cargo shorts and, if he was feeling especially cooperative, flip flops.

The young man was quickly brought out of his thoughts when he heard the telltale beeping of the card key belonging to staff, which reminded Mason he was still holding a cigarette butt in his hand. Shit.

Not feeling like getting into trouble this early in the morning, Mason made a dash for his cell window which was lined with metal bars, but had just enough space to get rid of his contraband.

The nurse entered the cell with a usual cheery smile, with two bottle of medication in hand. "Good morning, Mr. Barnard, ready for the new day-" The woman cut herself when she finally saw the patient by the window... or attached to the window, really. "Umm... Mr. Bernardi, are you... alright?"

"Goddammit..." He growled. "Why didn't anyone tell me this piece of crap was magnetic too?!"

It was the smell of burning that greeted Fia as she woke with a start.

It took her a few moments to realise where she was, the grey sterile surroundings were still relatively new to her. She hated it here. There was no colour, no happiness here, only anger and pain. Fia had had enough of that to last a lifetime.

She surveyed the room. The lamp on the bedside locker was the culprit of the acrid smoke starting to fill the room. It was unfortunate that her nightmares caused her to damage the only possessions she had left but at this point she had learned not to cherish anything besides her notebook and the bag she kept it in. Everything else was expendable.

It had only been two weeks since Fia had arrived in St. Josephina and from the moment she walked in the door she felt uneasy. At first she couldn't quite put her finger on it but as the first week passed she realised that sometimes people who were "treated" never came back from the treatment room. The screams too were part of the problem when it came to her nightmares but the nurses had assured her that they were merely the noises of some of the more boisterous patients letting off steam. At first she had accepted this answer. Now she wasn't so sure.

Still she had made a promise to herself that she would do everything she was told in order to get out as soon as possible. At very worst she simply had to wait ten more months until her eighteenth birthday when she would be legally allowed to discharge herself. She spent a lot of time thinking about the new life she would have when she reached that milestone.

She had just begun to tie up her long red hair with her customary black ribbon when she heard a nurse swipe her card into the locked door. She turned to greet her in what she hoped resembled a smile if not at least a look of calm.

"Good morning Miss Daniels." Her eyes surveyed the small room and landed on the lamp. "Another nightmare I see. I think we'll have to get started on your treatment as soon as possible. It can't be fun for you." Her eyes were sympathetic now but Fia felt as if she were being examined right there and then. "I'll tell the doctors and we'll see what they can do."

There was a silence and Fia tried to work out if she should be pleased or worried about this news. Her train of thought was interrupted suddenly.

"But there's plenty of time for that after breakfast. Are you hungry?"

Fia nodded and slowly followed her cheery nurse out the door.

It took a good few minutes of tugging and swearing, but Mason managed to pry himself off of the metal bars and maintain whatever was left of his dignity.

"Well now," The nurse said with a large smile on her face. "It seems you're new treatment is working so how about we go into the cafeteria today? I don't believe you've ever actually been there!"

The wild young man rolled his red eyes. Of course he'd never eaten in there. The cafeteria was for the non violent patients, the suck ups, and the 'treated'. But Mason had a sneaking suspicion that being taken up to that area was just another one of his lovely doctor's tests. But as long as this stupid metal hat was attached to his head, there was nothing he could do.

Slipping on his favorite pair of flip flops, Mason followed his nurse out of his cell.

As he walked along behind his nurse, Mason attempted to send her various expletives but with no success, much to his displeasure. But he young man was soon brought out of his thoughts when he realized there was someone else coming alongside them. A nurse and another patient.

Mason eyed the girl in the black ribbon carefully. He wasn't an idiot, contrary to popular belief. He had learned early on that it would be in his best interest to size up a new patient before deciding if they were worth playing with.

"Mason," His nurse chided. "You shouldn't stare, it isn't very polite. Now why don't you introduce yourself?"

The young man growled under his breath but nodded his head towards the girl. "Bernardi. Mason Bernardi..."

The nurse smiled and clasped her hands together. "Wonderful! I'll be sure to inform Doctor Seth next time I see him."

A chuckle issued to the right of the guy with the metal headgear.

Roarke's nurse went first holding a bouquet of pink roses. She was smiling indecently. Roarke followed holding his papers and pencils close to his chest.

"You look like a space from one of the those old movies," you make me want to draw a scary alien for you.
Roarke's nurse stopped and gave a little "Tut tut" she looked sterned but she held the flowers gently. "You know the rules. No negative images and no negative pictures. You must remember to positive. Don't let those nightmares get to you. You are a good person. She walked on with a smile on her face.

Roarke felt hurt. Miss Bertou had gotten injured long ago when she came into his room. He had been locked up and not allowed to draw. That's when things got worse. No one came into the room anymore, The blood was still on the walls and ceiling. Then one day after a month or so she came back. Smiling like she did before, she said she was fine and things would heal nicely. She also stated if Roarke ever did anything that ended up hurting another person she would make sure he regret it. Roarke drew a picture of her and called it "Lady Pain" Sweet but scary.

"See you in the cafeteria, love birds" he said to the space man and the girl.

Fia frowned after the boy with the paper. She had yet to have much contact with the other residents and her first impressions weren't doing much for her hatred of the place. Still, the nurse had mentioned nightmares. Clearly they were commonplace here.

Her attention was drawn back to the boy with the purple hair. Mason, he had called himself.

"Fia," she replied. "Fia Daniels. Pyromaniac apparently but I tend to disagree."

She gave Mason a measured look. Aside from the monstrosity attached to his head and his purple hair the boy appeared relatively normal. Or rather as normal as one might find in a teenage mental asylum. Not that Fia hadn't caught the sinister glare he had been sending at his nurse behind his back. She wondered if maybe he was like her, if he was different.

She felt as if this boy was not someone to be underestimated. For one thing he seemed pretty pissed off, although for all she knew he could just be an angry person. Still her own experiences had taught her that getting on the wrong side of an angry person was a very dangerous thing to do.

Her nurse beamed down at the two of them. Deliberately avoiding her eyes she spoke again.

"What're you in for? Alien abduction?" Her eyes went back to the metal circling his head. "Or is this some magical headpiece that fixes all us screw ups?"

Her nurse frowned, eying Mason suspiciously as though he were a bomb. Fia ignored her and looked him straight in the eye.

Roarke was led to a small table and he plopped his butt down and started to draw with his green pencil. His black and red pencils were taken away from him, for the safety of all those around him. He missed his pencils, but at least he was able to draw. It was very bad if he wasn't able to draw. Roarke finished drawing his anaconda. A large grin started to appear on his right side. "Shhhhh ... sleep now. Wait until i say so.

He got up to his cereal. He grabbed his stuff and carried it with him over to the bowls. He picked a nice big one and then went straight for the granola. "Nuts are healthy, and they taste pretty good in milk.

Roarke's eyes glazed over as his balanced seemed to be off but he then righted himself and walked straight back to the table without milk. He then looked down on his paper with unfocused eyes and took out a blue pencil and started to draw.

"Here you are, Miss Locket. The cafeteria."

Tessa rolled her eyes at the nurse and glanced around at the other patients. She reached up and touched the god awful metal head band that they had fastened to her head. People's memories and actions were their own to control. That is what they kept telling her. Then, of course, they also said that "She" did not exist but they didn't have her convinced. Of course you do not believe them..You know that I am real.

Tessa winced slightly and then shook her head. She hated when "She" talked to her. It was enough to make any crazy but that was the problem. She wasn't crazy. Getting her breakfast, she found herself a table against the wall. With her back against the wall, she pulled her knees up to her chest and tried to ignore the shaking in her arms. Whenever she tried to block out the memories of others, it made her shake uncontrollably. Like it took more work not to see them then it did to see them. Still her shaky hand was even more noticeable as she picked up a piece of toast and nibbled at it.

"For the last time, are you going to tell me how you did it?" She crossed her stocking-covered legs in her laid back position.
"My amazing charm and they fell about laughing!"
"I'm not going to ask whether you think this is a joke, Zoe. And there I thought you wanted to help yourself." She sat up, an amused tint on the smug grin.
"Your trying to use guilt on me? I'm insulted! Want to throw in my mother? Loving Father? Your loving Father? Your Wife? Mr Callis that taught you PE? The Pope? Optimums Prime? "
"Can we just get her out of here?!" Arms came forwards to pull her upwards and out as she continued to shout with her Cheshire grin.
"Jerry Springer? Harry Potter? Minnie Mouse? Some cu-" Aaaaaand she's out of the room. Could hear her shouting just about. Something about a well-endowed tramp the Wife knows very well...

She's been talking to one of the psychic patients.

Aaaaaand now she's seen the helmet on Mason's head. It was like a car starting on a cold morning amplified. A thin rasp as she started into laugh before the proper chuckle, banging on the walls as she walked inside. As she walked pasted, she was hunched over in the euphoria, only stopping to draw breath. Then carry on giggling while walking towards food.

'Open wide Emily.'
The nurse spoke in her cheerful voice that only thinnly covered the hate beneath. Emily sighed and did nothing else. The quickest way to get back into her cell was to annoy her nurse by refusal but it often led to seeing the doctor. They said it was denial. That she was sinking back inside her head, losing contact with the world.
I can't lose contact with something i can't see she thought
Maybe today she would change her tactics. It was taking her nurse too long. The many sounds in the cafeteria confused her, she couldn't pick anything out. The death images started forming in her head but with no where to go they attacked her own mind like knives. There were so many dead people. Emily screamed and pushed away from the table. Without her eyes she couldn't see where to go. She hit the wall behind her and lashed out at her nurse who was trying to stop her hurting herself.
'My god her eyes!'
Someone shouted. The noise only worsend her headache. Two more people were trying to restrain her.
'If we don't calm her down she'll kill herself.'
Emily's nurse panted with the effort of holding the struggling girl down. She pulled a siringe from a box in her pocket and stabbed it into the side of Emily's neck. Instantly she went limp. An instant blackout serum. It knocked her out so that the images would stop.

A male nurse picked the girl up keeping well away from the trails of blood leaking from under the blindfold. This was unsusual for her to be so violent. As he carried her out of the cafeteria he made a mental note to tell the doctors right away...

Mason narrowed his eyes. And so began the same routine of sizing up his fellow patient. It was always a gamble during the first meeting, whether or not to push or back off. However, the factor that he no longer has use of his 'little gift' left him with his big fat mouth and a lot of bluffs.

His internal debate was soon interrupted with the girl, Fia, spoke to him again. His scowl deepened at the mention of his current headgear. But after getting a look at the other nurse's expression, the corners of his lips turned upward into a nasty smile.

"Well honestly, I don't know why they wanted to put little old me in this place. I haven't done anything to deserve getting put into place. As for this..." Mason took his finger and tapped the metal headpiece, flinching a little as it shocked him. "I wouldn't say it's magical. I can show you how they do it."

"Mason." His nurse warned, but the young man continued.

Being mindful of the helmet, Mason carefully pushed back a lock of his hair, revealing a small bald patch where the helmet had been bolted to his head. "See? No magic. Just cold, hard science. But don't you worry, these things can't hold people like us forever. We'll find a way around it."

Finally, Mason's nurse stepped in. "Well, hopefully not. If this works, then we can start on your therapy and work on giving the you the mental help you need." She said before turning to Fia and smiling kindly. "You don't have to worry, Mason is harmless now."

"Pfft... we'll see about that." Mason mumbled under his breath. When he figured out a way around this stupid thing, he had a list ready and waiting of who would be the first to go.

Roarke's head flopped down and hit the table. The thud had woken him up and he looked down at paper he saw a swarm of hellish wasps drawn all over the paper. Roarke suddenly started becoming more aware of his surroundings. He quickly stuffed the paper into his top and looked around. No one had noticed.

He looked around at all the usual suspects and noticed all the loud ones were being loud again. Roarke didn't know their names. He hadn't bothered to learn them. They weren't friends, but he felt something for the girl in pain. He shrugged and went back to his blissful drawing.

His nurse joined him and brought extra fruits and toast for him to eat as well. She was nice, and that made her dangerous. When the time came she would have to go first. Then all would be simple meals for his true friends. How to get out though?

Emily lay on a bed in her cell drifting in and out of conciousness. The pain had gone now, all that was left were the drying blood stains on her face. She could here the nurse and the doctor talking quickly, something about walking it off... why would she want to walk? They had strapped her arms down to the bed posts again just incase she started hurting herself. She still had scars from the last time she'd clawed at her arms. The physical pain made the mental pain go away. The nurse unstrapped her.
'Come on Emily, we're going for a little walk.'
Too tired and drugged up to do anything else Emily let herself be pulled up right and half dragged down the corridors.
They need me awake to run tests...
She had a horrible feeling she was going to be spending a lot of time in the lab area soon. That was the worst her headaches had ever been and the blood was new...
Emily's nurse stopped and began talking to someone. Her attention taken away from Emily she stopped supporting her and the girl fell to the ground. Emily didn't mind. The ground was safe, you couldn't fall much further than the ground. Her hands pressed against the cold lino floor feeling the security of it. It was then she knew. This place wouldn't help her, she had to get out, the only question was how?

Somehow "harmless" did not seem like an accurate description of the boy standing next to her but Fia simply aired this thought with a glare. Stay quiet, stay out of trouble and get out.

Still the bolt through Mason's head had unnerved her. It seemed like every scream and shout of pain coming from outside her bedroom walls were more than just imagination. She suppressed a shudder at the thought of what they might do to her.

But something else had intrigued her to. Mason had said "people like us". She was pretty sure she knew exactly what it meant but she had never thought of her ability as something to be proud of, to be purposely used. She fell into deep thought and before she knew it, they had arrived at a door marked "Cafeteria".

It was the barrage of noise that hit her like a ton of bricks. Teenagers were scattered everywhere, some alone, some in cliques. She could even make out a screaming girl in the far corner. The smell of mass produced industrial food hit her next. She wrinkled her nose.

"The sooner I get out of here the better," she murmured.

Pain, anger and hatred were the only things that Melanie got out of residing at a place like this. She didn't have a problem with voicing her opinion towards the doctors and nurses, as it was them who (for the most part) ran the place. Their normal response was a, "Hate is a strong word." while a finger was waved in her face and a frown was sent her way. Melanie wasn't a child, but the girl was sure treated like one. The lot of them brought a constant reminder of her parents, who could barely get a word out of her anymore upon monthly visits. Melanie could never hate her parents, oh no, but she did bare a grudge against them that was dwindling by the day.
Her thoughts were interrupted by a nurse who entered her room. Melanie sent her a dull glare, all the while keeping her lips pressed into a tight line. The nurse greeted her with a smile nonetheless, and began to perform a quick check up. She asked Melanie questions, which the girl simply ignored. They (the nurses and doctors) were all used to this behavior from her, but they knew that it was useless to try and pry. She simply stared straight ahead now, the urge to slap the nurses hands away becoming larger by the second. "Well, Melanie.. seeing as you didn't try anything yet, I suppose you can grab some breakfast with a few others today," The older woman drawled on, explaining to the younger girl that the doctors were looking to run a few tests, which would take place after she ate. Her words weren't acknowledged, however.
Melanie stood up, and waited for the other to lead her towards the cafeteria. It wasn't often that she got to go and the walk was silent, as per-usual. Once they reached a door which read "cafeteria" in large letters, Melanie spotted a girl, as well as a boy with intriguing headgear. The girl couldn't help but raise an eyebrow as they passed the two of them. She was quickly reminded of the painful bracelets that she was threatened with, being the very reason that Melanie had no intention of using her powers, at least for a while.
"I can't stand this place," she thought to herself, before being met with another superficial smile from her nurse.

Roarke had, under the guise of drawing landscapes and architecture pictures, started drawing out the Asylums dimensions and any room he had ever been in. The thought of cereal was running through his mind and he found himself drawing a bowl every now and again.

"Oh yeah," he said as he felt his stomach rumble. He pulled his papers close and walked over to teh table with his milkless cereal still waiting for him.

As he went through the ritual of grabbing milk and eating his mind shifted towards the nurses, doctors and this place in general. Did these people really only rely on these metal caps to keep our powers in check. It seems like an accident waiting to happen. He looked at a few of the nurses around the room. Were they more than they seemed. He already noticed the psychological attack that this placed used with the personal nurses. For example his nurse had the same eyes as his mother. Everytime he looked at her he felt a weird love as well as guilt for all the trouble he has caused her (both hers). He knew if he was going to get out she would have to be gotten rid of, but he already knew he wouldn't be able to do it himself. He'd have to get someone else to do it.

That aside, maybe the nurses had abilities too, or at least some more of defense or maybe martial arts training. He tried to picture his nurse in a ninja outfit and chuckled abit. "You never know," he muttered.

With his cereal gone he pulled his paper and pencil close and got up to draw more 'scenery' pictures of the outside of the Asylum.

The tests had hurt but as usual Emily had stayed quiet as she was poked and prodded with needles and hands. Currently her nurse was exclaiming about a big purple bruise on her charges arm and how it defaced 'Little Emily's pretty skin.' The woman was being deliberatly patronizing. It was too obvious that she was trying to provoke her. Emily didn't care. She was lost inside her own little dark world that the light of day never touched. Oddly enough Emily was afraid of the dark, or had been, before the blind fold made the dark her constant compainion. Her nurse prattled on about something that sounded like a dull buzzing.
'Maybe we should go and finish breakfast? The doctor said you'd be fine now and i'm sure you're hungry after those tests.'
Emily felt the nurse take her hand.
'This way sweetheart.'
She let herself be pulled back towards the sound of voices and smell of food even though she didn't want to. She had come the conclusion that if she wanted out she needed a partner to be her eyes. She needed someone who wasn't handicapped by blindness. The noise in the cafeteria was much less than it had been earlier which suited Emily. The nurse stopped walking.
'Do you mind if we sit here?'
That was the fake voice used on patients but god knew who because Emily couldn't see them.
Bloody Blindfold she thought...

Mason caught Fia's glare and opened his mouth to retort, but was cut off when his nurse grabbed his shoulder and gently led him towards the cafeteria. "This is your first time in the cafeteria isn't it, Mason?" She asked in attempt at conversation.

The wild teen shrugged a shoulder. "Went there once, 'bout five years ago. Didn't go so well." He muttered, narrowing his eyes at the memory of some seemingly harmless child using some sort of tele-ken-neesus or whatever the hell it was, to smash his head against the wall. That had been Mason's first lesson on not messing with the quiet ones in this place.

The moment the doors to the cafeteria were opened, Mason flinched and stuck an finer into his ear. He hadn't heard this much noise in half a decade. And it was pretty damn annoying. As his ears began to adjust to the volume of his new surroundings, he couldn't help but hear Fia's little comment to herself and laughed.

"That's cute, red. You think you're really going to get out of here, huh? They're never going to 'cure' us because there's nothing to cure!"

"Mason, that's enough." His nurse said in a sharper tone.

Mason just chuckled. "I used to think just like that... 'if I can just survive long enough, I can get out.' Well, I've got news for you, the only time you're going to get out of here is when they transfer you to the asylum for adults. But don't worry, you're pretty enough that if you sleep with the warden a couple times you won't end up-"

"Mason! Keep this up and you are going right back into your room! Is that what you want?"

"Fine... god, this is what I get for telling the truth..."

Roarke looked at all the players coming into the cafeteria. Nurses by their sides or just in front of them or sorts. Roarke stopped his drawing of the north side of the asylum lawn and flipped the page and started drawing a picture of a blind folded girl. He started half way and started working on the space captain he saw earlier too. He did this with each of them, the nurses were then pair with each respective patient. You looked over each character again to get most of the details in his head and then went back to the north lawn. He would talk to them when the time was right.

The thought of the security of this place made Roarke pause.

What if there were security people pretending to be patients? he thought to himself. If only I could use my powers I could gather some information on these people.
Roarke heard whispers and rumors about the others here. They could do things too. He heard the talk of fire and control and other things while he was drawing. He had given the nurses the impression that he gets lost in his drawings or that he had dozed halfway through his drawings.

Being an insomniac does have its advantages.

The walls are pretty high. If I would make a guess it might be at least fifteen feet.

"Interesting"

Roarke had finished his drawings from each of the windows in the cafeteria. He really needed some way to use his ability. He felt the bolts that fastened the metal plate to the back of his head.

Maybe he could get some help with that. He looked around and found exactly he wanted to see. It was the blindfolded girl but she was already busy with two other people. He looked around for another prospect who was on their own. He just needed an opportunity to talk to someone without their nurse or others by them.

He picked up his paper and started drawing a long thing rope followed by a ladder. "Might as well be prepared" he said as he waited for chance to talk to someone.

A few minutes passed and Tessa managed to settle the shaking in her arms. As she glanced around the cafeteria, she noticed a few people with their own ugly metal contraptions attached. A boy and a couple girls. It occured to her to wonder if those giant heaps of crap could stop whatever the others could do. The clunky metal headband certainly didn't work, although it hadn't stopped her from telling them that she couldn't see anything.

Her gaze settled on a boy near the cafeteria windows. He seemed to be drawing, which was interesting. They hadn't let her have anything to write with since she'd stabbed one of the nurses. The woman had been unnecessarily rough with her and left bruises on her arms even. She deserved it. That thought was followed by a sick and amused laugh from "Her". Ignoring it, Tessa settled her chin on her knees and watched the boy curiously.

Roarke looked up from his drawing. Something was off. He noticed that one of the girls was looking at him. Or at least in his direction. She had a blindfold on so there wasn't a way for her to be looking at him.
'Remember where you are.' he told himself. He turned through his papers until it rested on teh picture he started of the girl that was looking at him. He looked right back at her and started drawing.

Roarke nodded slightly to see if he could get a response out of the blind folded girl. 'So tired' he thought. He took his time drawing as he focused on the girl. If the nurses looked at his drawing they would just see a simple crush or simply an artists temporary fancy. They could be right, but if he used the second half of his ability he would be able to take steps in escaping.

Roarke was mostly done when he realised for some reason he hadn't drawn the blindfold and the girl was staring at him. "Interesting" he said softly.

Jimmy entered the cafeteria with his rather fat and emotionless nurse pulling him by the arm. He saw a few other patiants scattered about with their nurses but he wasn't realy interested in who they were, although he was interested in the different emotions he could feel drifting around the room. But before he could hone his senses in to distinguish what they were, she led him to a table in the corner of the room. Once he was seated she slowly tilted his head forward and he heard her remove the small needle holsterd on the left side of her belt. He diddn't realy feel the prick of the needle that entered the back of his neck but the effects were quickly noticeable; First the edges of his vision blurred, next his mouth went dry, then his legs numbed to the consistency of lead and his ability to discern the different emotions in the air vanished.
"There, now can i leave you here while i go and get myself breakfast?" she said in her emotionless drawl, to which Jimmy raised his head up an inch to stare her in the eyes.
"I thought so" she said before walking off and out by a side door.

Jimmy, with nothing to do, decided to have a look around at his surroundings. It was now that he noticed a boy with drawing equipment staring at, and it looks like drawing, a girl with a blind fold on who is facing, maybe even looking back at the boy. Who knows.

Emily had spent the last part of fifteen minutes staring at one of the walls. Well she though it was a wall, it wasn't like she could see anything. Her nurse tapped her on the the shoulder.
'Emily, we wont have another problem will we.'
Emily shook her head. She didn't quite know why she had flipped earlier anyway, maybe it had been the noise or the tension of a new place. She sighed inwardly. It really was getting worse. The doctor had said the worse it got the more it damaged her own brain meaning she could eventually die. This murderous curse of hers could end up taking her with it. Her nuse made a cooing sound.
'One of the boys is looking at you, maybe he like you hmmm?'
Emily really hated that woman. The first thing she would do if they ever took the metal blindfold off would be to fry her brain. It really wasn't much good for anything else after all. Just when she thought her nurse had stopped she made an excited squeaking sounds and stood up.
'Hello, how's Jimmy doing? Is it difficult? Oh, Emily's a sweetheart, we get on so well....'
Obviously it was one of the nurse's friends. Her annoying voice got furthur away. Great. Emily groped around the table top to find her toast. A bit of peace and quiet while she ate breakfast...if she could even find her breakfast...

Roarke felt like more and more people were finding him, he reminded himself that he had to stay focused he finished. Roarke finally finished but he had made some sort of mistake. He had drawn the girl but somehow he had drawn two layers of her. "That's new" he said. "Either way its finished. He quickly walked over and passed the girl and and slipped on the ground. He slipped the picture under the table into her hand. "Keep it with you" Roarke whispered and walked away.

He then went to another side of the table and started drawing the boy who had noticed him.

"One piece at a time" he muttered.
