Personality: Ari is very quiet around new people and usually will only answer yes or no questions, with a nod or by shaking her head. When she does talk she's very sarcastic which gets on most people's nerves but some of the things she says are actually hilarious. She's not very friendly and it takes a lot for her to trust someone. She's very independent and has always refused to accept help even when she really needed it. She doesn't lie for the good of other's she just tells the truth no matter how painful it is. Don't get me wrong she can be a great liar when she wants to be, but usually she has no reason to lie.

Flaws: Ari never looks at the bright side of things which often makes her depressed. And she absolutely refuses to accept help from anyone, she thinks that if she can't do something on her own she's weak.

History: Ari was born in New York to an abusive family. When she was about 8 she finally told someone and was beat to the point of needing to go to the hospital for it, that's when she stopped accepting help. But they found out what was happening and she was sent to an orphanage where she was adopted right away to a very nice family. She loves them like they were her real family. Her adoptive brother who she was very close to was in a band and he taught her how to play almost all the instruments, she was already naturally talented at singing so she was fine with that. She spent most of her time doing something musical as she grew up and joined a band. It took a lot of convincing for her to go on this cruise and leave her band who were her only real friends, behind for a while.

"Shit." Ari mutters when she see's a girl struggling in the water. All the sudden it stops and she dives out of the raft she'd just managed to get into and grabs the unconscious girl out of the water. She look's up and see's the shark a few feet away and quickly swims to the top holding up the girl for someone to take so she can get out of the water. Stopping herself from panicking. Why did it have to be a shark? She thinks to herself.

"Not again.." Grant thinks to himself as he sees Perla, unconscious, being hoisted in the boat. He climbs up himself, and begins the procedure as he did last time, pouring the excess water from her mouth by turning it to the side. Then, tilting the head back, he put his mouth over hers, giving four strong breaths.

He leaned down and put his ear next to her face, trying to listen for breath, simultaneously checking her pulse, then giving four more breaths, but she still wasn't waking up. "Come on!" He mumbled to himself frustratingly as he checked her pulse again.

Finally, with another series of breaths, he managed to resuscitate her. He sounded like something was flailing about, though, so he looked up. "Hey!" He yelled to Keith in the water. "C'mon!" He said with a wave of his arm.

Keith looks around him, still splashing the water, looking to see if everyone was on the raft.

I'll be fine, help the others.

He gestures to leave him as the shark turns away from Ari and slowly swims towards him. He couldn't believe what he was doing, but he needed to know the others were ok. He hits the water harder, the shark slowly circling, he was scared but he didn't show it.

At least they wont have to here me scream...

Perla woke up, shivering and her teeth were chattering. She seen the medic again and knew what he had to do, to revive her. Perla sat up and actually thanked him this time.

Thank you. I'll try not to drown again...
Perla noticed someone in the water beside them, a girl, most likely her savior. Perla smiled and helped her up.
Thank you too.
Perla smiled sweetly at her, but then noticed the medic was yelling at someone out in the water. It seemed as though he was leading the shark away from the crowd and she gasped. Perla dropped the quiet act for a good 5 seconds to yell at the man.

Please, get out of the water! We can all make it through this alive! Please just come back on the raft!
Perla remember back when she would've been the hero to save the man from the shark and she would've been the ideal swimmer. But those days were long gone, and she was definitely in a messed up situation. Perla tried crawling forward to yell at him louder, but she couldn't even apply the slightest pressure on her foot without it getting hurt. Perla felt a sharp pain in her foot and she slid back down onto her knees, holding her hurting ankle in pain.

Keith hears a girl yelling and looks around, the shark had disappeared underneath the water. He takes his chance and begins swimming towards the raft, knowing that it may come back.

She's right, we can make it through alive.

He swims faster, not looking back or down, he never wanted to see what would kill him. He reaches the side of the raft and throws his arms in, pulling himself into the raft as quickly as possible. He almost slips when he gets in, breathing quickly. Keith sits against the side of the raft, almost laughing at what just happened. He looks around at the others, slowing his breathing, he needed to be calm.

Rosemarie breathed heavily, trying to calm herself down. Her breaths became shaky. She started to cough loudly. She grabbed her bag and fumbled around. She coughed some more, and crumpled into a ball.

I can't breath. I'm gonna die, A oice echoed in her mind, making her even more nervous. She coughed even more, her vision was growing dimmer.
Someone. Please, help me.

Hazel pushed one of her friends out of the way.
"I need to get a new outfit, now that you spilled soda on it!" She declared, throwing the doors to the wardrobe open. She grabbed her rain coat, a blue shirt and denim shorts. She slipped on her red sneakers. Suddenly, the ship lurched.
"AG!" Hazel cried out. She was then pinned against the wall by a dresser. SHe had enough strength to stop it from crushing her, but she was still stuck.
"HELP!" SHe yelled out, trying to push it farther away from her.
HEr friend helped tug on the dresser. Hazel jumped over it.
"THanks," SHe huffed. SHe grabbed her by the arm and pulled her through the almost sideways ship. They got to the area where everyone was getting in life rafts. Suddenly, a person pushed her friend into the railing, splitting her head open.
"NO!" Hazel checked her heart beat.
Nothing.
"NO!" SHe cried out. The ship lurched some more. She pushed the person who had pushed her friend to the railing away. She wiped her eyes and got onto an empty life raft. It lowered into the ocean. She suddenly felt water trickle in. She saw a small hole.
"Ah hell!" She paddled towards another life raft, full of people.
She noticed a girl, coughing hard. SHe remembered that her friend gave her the inhaler she used because she didn't have a bag to put it in. She climbed aboard and remembered the way to use it.

Aston looked around, panicking. He didn't see his sisters, his parents, or the boat, but he could swear he heard voices. The last thing he remembered was to aviod the party he was supposed to go to, he decided to take a nap. When he woke up, he was up to his neck in water. he grabbed for his backpack, found it, slung it on, punched the window until it broke and jumped out. Now, he was in the middle of the ocean, thinking he heard voices."Maybe I'm finally going insane." He muttered to himself, treading water.

"As long as you stay still, they won't attack you. It will leave eventually, so grab the side of the raft and keep still. It will swim away. If you squirm, it will get scared and probably attack." He heard a male voice say. He perked up and began yelling.

"Hey! Hey! Over here! Help!" He yelled, hoping he could get a response. "Help! Help me, please!" He yelled again. He waited, and heard nothing. Sighing, he laid backwards and began back-floating. "At least I'm gonna die peacefully." He muttered, closing his eyes and sighing.

Hazel noticed a person waving their arms.
"Never mind, you can take care of it," SHe muttered, tossing the people the inhaler. She jumped off the raft.
"I hate swimming!" SHe yelled out as she swam towards the person. HE couldn't have been much older than her, probably by a year or two. She lifted my up by the arms, she was quite strong for her size and age. Hazel paddled back to the raft and lifted the man up. She jumped onto it and looked down at the girl coughing.

Rosemarie looked up weakly as an unfamiliar face loomed over her. SHe was handed an inhaler, which she quickly took.. Her asthma dialed down and she could sit up and talk now.
"Thank you," She whispered.

With more people on the raft, Keith had to pull himself in more to make room, his joints hurting from not being able to stretch his tall stature . He reached into his pocket and his eyes opened wide.

Where's my name?!

He pushes his hand deeper, the keyring, the room keys, and the torch still there, but no card. He checks the other pocket, nothing in it. He began to worry a little, if people didn't know his name what would they call him? He thinks back to school, the names he was called, he couldn't handle that again. Keith's smile disappears a little as he sits silently, watching everyone.

Lago sees that the man in front of him is fidgeting, and the smile he once had a second ago disappeared as he frantically searched into his pockets. "What could he be looking for?", Lago asked himself as he kept watching. He started feeling strange feelings the longer he watched the guy in front of him. The longer he watched, the more he seemed to be a little attracted to the guy. "Shit!", he mentally cursed himself. "What is going on?", he asked himself. "Why am I feeling this way?" Lago then was compelled to crawl over to him and ask if he was alright. He didn't know how he was going to help the guy, but he looked like he needed help so why not. "Hey, I'm Lago. Are you alright.. uh, I'm sorry I didn't catch your name."

Grant looked over to the guy that was frantically moving about. "Hey, uh..man, what's up?" He watched as he pulled out the key ring. Was this guy mute or something.

Rosemarie could feel her nose stinging, and opened her eyes.
"OW!" SHe held onto her nose.
She felt her new diamond piercing stinging.
"Remember, don't go into water, or this might get infected" THe woman loomed over her and pierced her nose.
"CRAP!" She yelled out.

Hazel laid down on the wet bottom of the raft.
"Agh, I hate this raft," She muttered, while the woman next to her complained about her nose. She looked up.
"What the hell is it? I'd like to go to sleep, thank you very much," Hazel complained. She looked at the girl's nose.
"Let me guess, you just got your piercing, I remember going in a pool after I got these," Hazel pointed to her three jewel piercings, an emerald, ruby and a fake diamond.

Keith shakes his head and nods at the letters he needed. But he didn't tell Grant that he had lost something he needed, or that he was holding back tears because of how painful his joints had become. He can't believe he had lost his name, it was the only thing that he needed, as long as someone knew his name, he would be ok.

"I do," She fished around in her pocket, careful so she wouldn't cut herself again. She pulled it out.
"Will you be able to use this?" She asked, while Hazel examined Rosemarie's nose.

"it's infected. We'll have to put the diamond back in so it doesn't close up like this," Hazel muttered. She turned to the man who was a medic.
"Do you have any thing we can disinfect her nose with?"
