Introduction
The Fourth Shinobi World War ended with the defeat of Tobi and the annihilation of Akatsuki as a whole. Though the alliance between all of the villlages ended with the war, the general feeling of friendship and camaraderie remained for years to come. Generations passed and the villages rebuilt, grew and advanced into a new Era. It was known as 'The Golden Years', a time of prosperity, health, and fortune for all. A time when the leaders and all who lived in that era understood the consequences of war, and the utter despair and destruction that results from it. But as time passed, bitterness and old wounds made its reappearance in the politics of the nations, and most, if not all bonds were broken. Though none of the villages were willing to push each other to the brink of war, the Kage were forced to build new alliances amongst one another, and the Golden Years would end on a sour note.
The story picks up roughly 50 years after the Fourth Shinobi World War. All of the original characters have now retired, died as a casualty of war, or died of old age, and two generations have passed. (Meaning your character can be the grandson/daughter of an original character of Narutoβs Generation.)
What does this entail? (Basic RP Background Notes)
- Your character may be a Kage, a Jounin, a Chunin, a Gennin, or an Academy Student from any of the Five Shinobi Villages (Konoha, Suna, Kiri, Iwa, Kumo), or a Samurai from the Land of Iron, or whatever you want to make, as long as itβs reasonable and within the realm of the Naruto series.
- The Akatsuki are dead, and will not likely reform unless, for some reason, people in the RP decide to form it again. Yes, if you guys want the Akatsuki to be made, you have to make it yourself. (I donβt really see the point in reviving Akatsuki and replaying the Naruto storyline again, but if you have a good idea with a villainous organization, then go ahead!)
- Clans that have βdisappearedβ or were βnear extinctionβ during the original series are starting to grow once again. (Population booms during the Golden Years) (ie. Senju, Uchiha, Uzumaki, Kaguya, Yuki, Kurama, etc.) and you are allowed to create a character of that clan, but spots are limited. (5 Senju, 5 Uchiha, 5 Uzumaki, 5 Yuki, 3 Kurama, 2 Kaguya) (More clans may be added to the list, especially if I missed some.)
- Techniques like Black Lightning and Dust Release remain exclusive to those who first claim it. (In the case of Dust Release, the Tsuchikage will be allowed to decide who the Kekkei Tota is passed on to. The first character to claim Black Lightning will be permitted to pass on Black Lightning to other characters.)
- Jinchuuriki will be new, and only two or three will be able to fully control their beasts. (The others are allowed to learn control from RP-Training.) The best place to train a Jinchuuriki is in the Falls of Truth on the Island Turtle, but obviously, Jinchuuriki from other villages who train there without permission will probably be captured.
- Wood Release will only be granted to a direct descendant of Hashirama Senju, and the extent of their Wood Release will not be as great as Hashirama. (In other words, donβt GM with Wood Release if youβre granted it.) There will also be a limit of two people allowed Wood Release.
- The Mangekyou Sharingan will only be given to up to two members of the Uchiha clan, and only one Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan will be granted. This also includes characters who have implanted a Sharingan for themselves. (ie. If your character has taken a Mangekyou Sharingan, and there is a Uchiha character who also possesses a Mangekyou, then all spots for that will be filled.)
- Cursed Seals may be permitted, but with a valid explanation as to how your character acquired one. (If someone wants to create an Orochimaru-like character (ie. Some mad scientist) then that could be an explanation, but otherwise, be creative.)
- Though youβre allowed to create a character related to a canon, I would like originality when you create. I donβt want 50 Naruto-clones running around spamming Shadow Clone and Rasenganing everything.
- As far as sages are concerned, you are allowed to create a sage of whatever animal you desire as long as you adhere to the rules of being a sage and entering sage mode. (Being still, etc.) Also, you canβt be a 3 year old sage. Be reasonable with the age.
Note: This RP may be carried out in a series of 'Story Arcs' which may be incorporated during one event in order to involve everyone in the RP. (ie. While Kage are off on a meeting, some people are sent to investigate a somethingsomething and then something happens which makes someone do something for someone. YAH! It was one of the rare days Hana ever got to herself. A full and complete day without missions, doctor checkups, gennin, or interruptions of any kind. Hana had spent the morning preparing for a trip to the Valley of the End, her favorite training spot located on the boarder between the Land of Fire and the Land of Sound. Hana's body had been severely weakened from her years of illness, and she was nowhere near as skilled in combat or the use of her Sharingan's abilities as her brother, but the girl was driven by his sacrifice and swore never to waste what he had given her, so whenever she had free time, Hana often trained to her body's limit, and when that was reached, she'd train some more until she was physically and mentally unable to train anymore.
Hana reached the foot of the falls at the crack of dawn, dressed in a simple white tank top, short black shorts, red boots, black and red fingerless gloves and carrying a backpack that mainly had weights in it. Hana looked up to the top of the waterfall, ignoring the massive stone statues of Hashirama and Madara - she had seen those things at least 20 times already, and the awe had already worn off long ago. After taking a ribbon from the ninja pouch on her belt and tying her hair into a ponytail, Hana put the backpack on and began to climb the falls. Her ultimate goal was to reach the top before sunrise. Hana started the climb at a faster pace than normal, though near the middle of it, she began to tire out. Hana barely made it to the top before her goal, but when she did, she triumphantly threw her bag off of the waterfall.
She laid on the grass at the edge of the waterfall, head turned slightly to watch the sunrise from her vantage point. Though she was already tired and dripping with sweat, Hana's training was far from over. But the beauty of nature was far too great to be ignored, so she allowed herself some time to relax and simply admire her surroundings.

Hayate looked at the sky from his little Rooftop Camp. His boredome was commendible, considering he was never bored. He grumpily stood up and decided to visit the Valley of the End.
He ran up the side of Madara's head, finding his hair to be a suitable climbing spot. He quickly stabbed a Kunai into the statue to pull himself up, and rolled onto his head.
There he saw his cousin, Hana, on the grass bext to the waterfall. He stood up and walked over to her. He quickly placed a hand on her shoulder with a grin.
"Hana, are you training out here again? One day you're going to fall off the statues and i'll have to bury you." He grinned again.

Hana turned when she heard someone approaching. She prayed that whoever was coming wasn't from another village, knowing that if she were to ever get in a fight, especially if she ever got kidnapped, the Hokage would give her hell for it. Besides, she did possess the Sharingan, a powerful weapon in itself that can easily be implanted into another's body. But when she saw that it was Hayate who rolled onto the head of Madara, Hana let out a small sigh of relief.
She chuckled at his comment, turning to look into his eyes as she spoke. "The only time I'd ever fall while climbing, is if I decided to let myself go and join the Akimichi Clan." She said jokingly to him while laughing. "And besides, I've climbed up and down here at least twenty times already, no big deal. But what are you doing here? The Hokage didn't send for me.. did he?" She asked, a little nervous now that she thought her personal training time would be jeopardized.
She chuckled at his comment, turning to look into his eyes as she spoke. "The only time I'd ever fall while climbing, is if I decided to let myself go and join the Akimichi Clan." She said jokingly to him while laughing. "And besides, I've climbed up and down here at least twenty times already, no big deal. But what are you doing here? The Hokage didn't send for me.. did he?" She asked, a little nervous now that she thought her personal training time would be jeopardized.
"Not at all. I just got bored. How is your Sharingan coming along?" Hayate smiled, it was the first time he got to talk to his cousin in days.
"Yeah, but the Akimichi clan CAN climb here.. Just takes them a few years." He laughed, smiling at her. "Why were you worried if the Hokage sent for you? Why would they? Hana, is something wrong?" He quickly said, looking into her eyes with concern.

It would've felt like nothing to him anyways, seeing as the girl was still quite weak in terms of physical strength. "No, I was just scared that the Hokage would call me back to the village, and then I wouldn't have time to train. Ever since I got better, I haven't really gotten that much time, and I don't want to fall behind on my skills, y'know?" She said to him, knowing that he would be one of the few people who knew about her and her brother's 'procedure' that happened only several months ago that cured her illness and restored her eyesight.
"My sharingan is taking a while to adjust to.. but I'm starting to get the hang of it. I was never as skilled as Toru, but I promised him that I'd keep training it every day. What about you? And how's the fox? It must suck to be a Jinchuuriki.. such a burden to be carrying something in your body..." She said to him before turning away from him to look off into the distance. A spike of demonic chakra flowed across the land, then another and another, all coming from the direction of training ground 44. Mia Mitarashi was covered in her chakra cloak with one tailsprouting from it and was trying her hardest to gain as much control as she could. She leapt up into the air and, after flying through a set of hand seals, called out FUUTON: DAITOPPA (wind release great breakthrough) the demon enhanced attack ripped trees from the ground and sent them fling away from her, creating a scar in the ground before dissipating. Mia landed and cut the connection to the Gobi, instantly becoming fatigued and had to sit down on the tree branch she was currently occupying. She wore a pair of black loose shinobi pants, a pair of steel toed boots, a black bra covered only by a mesh shirt that stopped above her naval, and a black trench coat that was cut off at the hips. Her Konoha head band was positioned around her forehead and helped keep her purple hair in place.
"Whew", the leaf gennin sighed, "That was much better than last time, but nowi need a shower." After a minute of resting she got up and jumped towards Konoha. The entire way home was filled with thoughts of a shower, and the lunch her mother had probably prepared for her which was making her giddy as hell. Little known fact, a happy Mitarshi was a very, very scary Mitarashi. Mia jumped down and landed just outside the village and headed in, taking a slow pace while grinning at and scaring a bunch of people on her way home.

Genta was sleeping near the Hidden Lightning village with his genin team. They received a mission to retrieve a sword know as Samehada which Genta and his genin had already acquired. "Guys wake up. We have to get Samehada back to the Mizukage before the day ends. Summoning Jutsu: Dasine!" Genta summoned a giant lizard monster with metal wings, this lizard looked at Genta and sighed. "Damn kid what do you want?" Dasine looked at the sword on Genta's back and understood whilst lowering his back so that Genta and his team could get on.
Once Dasine had delivered them to Kirigakure Genta went right to the Mizukage's palace with Samehada. "You really are a beautiful blade Samehada." Genta chuckled and looked under the wrappings that the old coot Kisame had wrapped it up in.

Mia stopped at her house and let herself inside. "MOM, YOU HOME?", she called out while removing her boots and heading towards the kitchen. She found a bento box on the table and a letter saying her mother had left to go shopping. Shrugging, Mia sat down to eat and then headed off for a shower before dressing and heading to the Hokage's tower for a mission.

"Vital signs?" Came a calm voice in the back of the dimly lit room. It belonged to a young woman known to many of the villagers as 'that Slug girl', but to those at the hospital, she was Kotoko, daughter of renowned medics, and a powerful healer in her own right. She was just about to finish her shift when a patient had been taken into the hospital. The man appeared to have suffered from a fall, but to experienced medics like Kotoko, she knew that there was much more to the story, and that he would need medical attention immediately.
"They've been dropping ever since we entered the hospital. Is there anything you need, Kotoko?" Asked a nurse. She appeared to be slightly older than Kotoko, and a full head taller than her.
Kotoko shook her head. "No, just make sure there are no interruptions. Judging from his state, the minimum time required to stabilize him would be five minutes. Tell the others to clear a room for him, after I finish his treatment, he will need to be transferred immediately." She said before approaching the table. In her subconscious, she could hear the Rokubi stirring. Ever since Kotoko had gained control over her tailed beast, she found that the Rokubi had become somewhat of a mentor to her, especially when it came to her work as a medical-nin.
After making a single hand seal, Kotoko placed her hand over the man. In an instant, she knew what he was suffering from with the use of her 'Medical Art: Simple Diagnosis' technique. It allowed her to send a wave of chakra through the body of her patient, and when the wave returned, she would be able to analyze it to find any abnormalities. A standard technique that any medic learns while training, but arguably one of the hardest to master. Kotoko weaved a set of hand seals before placing her palms over the man's head. "Medical Art: Pain Alleviation Technique." Within moments, she could see that he was starting to relax, and it was time to start working.

'Bowl of slime, comin' right up!' The slug replied. His voice was deep, but sounded somewhat mucusy due to all the natural slime that he was producing. Most people would find the Rokubi to be quite horrid looking, but Kotoko thought he was incredibly cute.
Kotoko looked down at her hands. They began to produce a strange and glowing, bluish slime that had no smell and felt warm to the touch. She gently applied it to the man's chest before placing her hands above the slime, just barely touching it as she channeled her healing chakra into the man. The glowing slime began to turn purple, emitting an even brighter glow now as the chakra mixed into it. Any bruising and cuts that were present on the man's body began to fade, and within, the bleeding had stopped, and damage was, quite literally, being reversed. Bones moved back into position before being 'stitched' and mended, organs were being restored to their former state, and even any head trauma from the fall was being fixed, evident through the purple glow coming from the man's nostrils, mouth, eyelids and ears. By the end of the procedure, the man was as good as new, but his body would need to settle for about two days before he was good to go.
After washing her hands, Kotoko called for the nurses to take him to his room.
"They've been dropping ever since we entered the hospital. Is there anything you need, Kotoko?" Asked a nurse. She appeared to be slightly older than Kotoko, and a full head taller than her.
Kotoko shook her head. "No, just make sure there are no interruptions. Judging from his state, the minimum time required to stabilize him would be five minutes. Tell the others to clear a room for him, after I finish his treatment, he will need to be transferred immediately." She said before approaching the table. In her subconscious, she could hear the Rokubi stirring. Ever since Kotoko had gained control over her tailed beast, she found that the Rokubi had become somewhat of a mentor to her, especially when it came to her work as a medical-nin.
After making a single hand seal, Kotoko placed her hand over the man. In an instant, she knew what he was suffering from with the use of her 'Medical Art: Simple Diagnosis' technique. It allowed her to send a wave of chakra through the body of her patient, and when the wave returned, she would be able to analyze it to find any abnormalities. A standard technique that any medic learns while training, but arguably one of the hardest to master. Kotoko weaved a set of hand seals before placing her palms over the man's head. "Medical Art: Pain Alleviation Technique." Within moments, she could see that he was starting to relax, and it was time to start working.

~ Introduction Post ~
It was a bright and sunny morning, and the village was just beginning to stir from their beds and prepare for the big day. It was the day of the first of the Final Rounds of the Chuunin Exam, and leaders from all over the continent would travel to Konoha to watch the young Chunin hopefuls fight and show off all of their skills to their village's Kage. The stage was set, now all that needed to be done was to bring the people in.
The stadium designated for the exams was located near the northern edge of the village. It was a building that stood out, especially from a distance. Built after Pain's invasion and painted with standard Konoha colors, when it wasn't used for the Chuunin exams, it was often used as a center for entertainment, whether it was from a travelling circus troupe or an inspirational speaker, the villagers were always entertained in one way or another. But today, the stadium grounds had been cleaned out, and the bottom of the stadium was simply dirt, grass and the occasional rock or tree. Surrounding the battlegrounds in all 360 degrees were the spectator's stands. The first row was located roughly 30 feet above the battleground, mainly for safety reasons, but the area designated for the Kage and Daimyo stuck out the most. It was a large booth that took up a significant amount of room, and had chairs with Kanji symbols of the elements carved into them, representing where each Kage would sit.
The first person to arrive was the examiner, a Konoha shinobi in his mid thirties who's task was to announce the battles, and to stop when when they got too far. He began to walk around the battle area, making sure no one would be cheating in today's round of fights.

A young woman approached the gates of Konoha, wearing next to nothing - a pink and purple scarf, a black and red bra, a pair of beige khaki shorts and a white belt. She wore a pair of pink boots that matched the color of her scarf, and from under the yellow and white Kage hat that signified her position, hints of her pink hair could be seen. It was none other than Yoko, otherwise known as Raikage Y, the daughter of the Fifth, and the granddaughter of the Fourth. The woman had gained the nickname 'Thunder Princess' due to her loud, thunderous lightning techniques.
She walked into the village, removing her Kage hat and holding it in her left hand as she took a good look at the village. A skull ornament could now be seen in her hair, as well as a golden pin that seemed to hold her ponytail in place. The girl looked to be no older than her mid twenties, and she certainly didn't look like true Raikage material, but the truth of the matter was that Yoko could probably take on people much bigger than her with relative ease, possessing an abnormally large amount of raw physical strength and power that didn't mesh with her tiny figure.

Mia landed in the main street with a huff. The Hokage had pleasantly told her that the exams were happening today and she would have to wait till the end of it to go on a mission. She blew her purple bangs out of her face and turned around looking for something to do, her eyes picked up on the scantily clad woman and drifted over to investigate. "Heya lady, you knew in town or something?", she asked in a cheeky voice. Mia tossed her hair back over her shoulder and examined the young woman more closely. "Im guessing you are here to watch the exams?" Mia wasn't very strong looking but her demonic power came off of her in gentle waves alerting all around her of what she was. "Name's Mia by the way, nice to meet you."

"God damn it, I hate it when she does this." Ano said to himself as he dashed through the trees in the Land of Fire, trying to feel out his Kage's chakra. She loved to give him the slip, thinking it would be easy to get away from a blind shinobi, probably. Well, she assigned him to her guard for this trip, and he was going to follow those official orders to the letter. Ano had known the "Thunder Princess" Since he was 15 when they met after he beat everyone at the Chuunin exams. She hadn't changed much, except she had accepted more responsibility and handled better than she used to. Ano shook his head and re-focused on the task of finding her.
After about a minute, he locked on to her chakra. "Aha, there you are." He stopped moving and made the hand sign for hare. "Lightning Release: Thunder Transit jutsu!" He called out. A lightning bolt hit him and he was gone. Then, a lightning bolt hit just in front of the gate to Konoha. When the lightning bolt disappeared, Ano was standing there. He could immediately smell her scent. He walked a couple yards ahead of him until he could tell she was close. "Found you, Lady Y. It seems your it now." Ano said with a cocky grin on his face and his arms crossed. He then detected another presence directly in front of her. From the smell of her breath, she was facing the Raikage. "Oh, forgive me. I didn't smell you there." Ano approached her, not facing her directly. "I am Ano, and you are?"

Kantar Utsui & Kavic Toth
"Well this should be fun. I always enjoy observing the progress of our youth, their futures stretching out ahead of them. The fierce spirit of competition and the desire to prove themselves. I do hope we have a strong showing this year." Kantar, the Sixth Tsuchikage spoke in a cheerful, whimsical voice. As if he was remembering his own youth.
"Whatever. I just hope our genin don't make the Hidden Stone a source of ridicule...again. Besides, why does this have to be in the the Hidden Leaf? The Hokage is a worthless snake. We could just do our own exams like we used to, it would be better." Kavic was less than cheerful. Much less, he walked beside the Tsuchikage, displeasure radiating off of him. Scorn for the Hidden Leaf dripping from his words. Kantar did not bother to respond, he had already explained numerous times that the exams had to be collaborative to help maintain the balance of power. It also allowed the villages a chance to scope out each other in a mostly peaceful setting. And it was just the Hidden Leaf's turn to host, nothing to be done there. Indeed, Kantar knew Kavic was just being unpleasant. He always got that way when the Hidden Leaf was involved. The two were clad rather indiscreetly, wearing dark cloaks, Kantar's a lighter brown and Kavic's a black. Neither one of them wore the headbands of their Village, Kage's and their assistants typically refrained from headbands. Toyoka Shigemitsu was also accompanying them, clad if not indiscreetly, at least not in Hidden Stone garb. He often wondered what he did to get stuck with the both of them. A man who hated women, a women who hated men. He supposed the universe was just funny that way. Kantar was wearing his Kage hat, even though the thing was rather large and bulky. He had since grown accustomed to it and did not it as much as he used to.
When the small group from the Hidden Stone reached the gate to the Hidden Leaf Kantar turned to Kavic and said in a serious voice, "Don't cause trouble today. We don't need an incident. Not now." And to Toyoka, "That goes for you as well." For his friendly demeanor and cheerful attitude, Kantar knew that some wounds ran to deep for any healing, especially emotional wounds. It was rather cruel, if effective, the tactic employed by the Leaf shinobi to get Kavic off guard. And despite outward appearances, Kantar had certainly not forgotten the incident. He no did not trust the leaf, especially now with their ambitious Hokage. He would be on his guard, they all would. He took on a more resigned tone, "And please don't quarrel with each other too much, it was bad enough listening to you both all the way here, try and enjoy the exams, or at focus on something other than your mutual dislike for each other."
Looking around, Kavic recognized the Raikage, wearing far less than most of the people around. Hell, she was wearing less than he slept in most times. He felt a deep scorn welling within him. Lana...she looked so much like her. Truth be told though, he saw Lana in every girl, and every Leaf shinobi, if you could call the cowards that, it seemed like too much credit in his eyes. Then some leaf brat calling her self Mia showed up, she was radiating a strange chakra, putting Kavic a little more on edge, this was shortly followed by a lightning bolt touching down, bringing in a Cloud ninja who introduced himself as 'Ano'. He typically referred to the other kage by their names rather than titles as a sign of equality. "I hope you are doing well. Are you looking forward to the final round?" Not exactly serious discussion, but Kantar wasn't an all-business, no-nonsense person. He was happy to engage in small talk every now and again. He seemed perfectly at ease, regardless of the flashy entrance from the one called Ano. However the girl, Mia... she was radiating chakra in such a way even regular shinobi would pick up on it. With his beyond-exceptional sensory skills, he read far more into the chakra. My, this one certainly was interesting, a jinchuriki right here in front of him.

Yoko looked at Mia for a moment, not sure whether to be annoyed at the girl's blatant disrespect, or to be happy to that she had been approached a Jinchuuriki. Though Yoko wasn't by any means a sensor, she could feel the demonic power radiating from the girl, but restrained herself from letting off a little 'energy' of her own, believing that the little girl only meant well. "Well.. I'm not exactly new to Konoha, nor do I plan to stay here for too long.." She said as she looked the girl in the eyes. "But you're right, I am here to watch the exams." The woman's voice was calm, soothing even.
"Nice to meet you Mia, I'm Yoko." She said to her with a smile. Yoko didn't really care whether or not the girl knew that she was the Raikage, but decided not to tell the girl. Instead, she'd let her find out on her own if she really was that curious. "Are you going to watch the exams as well? I hear there are a lot of strong shinobi this year who are participating. Mia smiled at the newcomer while trying to see how big of a threat she could be. "Pppfffft, hell no im not going to the exams, they are really boring and barely anyone ever dies in them." "i would rather be causing mayhem for the civilians or training to become stronger." Mia flipped her hair back again and cocked her head to the side. "Ummm, someones behind you....i i reeeealy hope he didn't just say that i smell", she said while cracking her knuckles. "Because i don't like being insulted at all."

Toyoka
Making up the back of the pack was a woman by the name of Toyoka Shigemitsu. She was most commonly known by the villagers as Lady Toyoka, and by outsiders as The Painted Lady. Toyoka wasn't entirely sure why she had decided to accompany the Tsuchikage on his journey to Konoha. Perhaps it was the desire to witness another round of battles that she had never had the opportunity to participate in, or perhaps she found some sort of benefit to following the group and decided to exploit it to the fullest. In any case, Toyoka stuck out like a flare in the dark of the night, dressed in flowing silk robes with one side dropped slightly to expose a tattooed shoulder. Her hair was styled in its trademark design, while her face had been painted with reds and yellows that matched the design of her robe.
She was smoking from a jade pipe, looking genuinely disinterested until they finally neared the village and the woman made her way from the back of the pack towards the front. "How cynical of you, Kavic." Toyoka commented. She never really liked him, but knew it would be foolish to fight him in a head on battle, as she most likely didn't stand a chance. "Thankfully, not all the Iwa shinobi think like you." She added somewhat cheerfully, though the smile on her face was obviously a fake one.
Yoko
Yoko giggled softly, turning to Ano. "And I thought I had lost you." She joked, putting an arm around the man's shoulder in a friendly embrace. "But somehow, I had a feeling you'd still be able to track me down." Ano was one of the few people Yoko fully trusted, having known him for such a long time, so it wasn't uncommon that she would bring him along on some diplomatic trip. When the young girl spoke of causing mayhem, Yoko couldn't help but to chuckle softly. Yoko herself had been a troublemaker in her youth, so meeting Mia was quite refreshing.
When the Tsuchikage and his posse arrived, Yoko smiled. "What a surprise bumping into you before the final round, Tsuchikage Kantar!" She said to him, genuinely happy to see the man. As the Land of Lightning and the Land of Earth were practically neighbors, Yoko hoped to strengthen the relationship between Iwa and Kumo during her trip in Konoha. "Indeed I am. It's always nice to see bright, young gennin show their abilities in battle. Have many Iwa shinobi qualified for the finals this year?" She asked.

Jimaru Kaguya
Jimaru was idly leaning against a fence outside of the main gate. He had been sent in advance of the Mizukage. He impassively watched the gathering the main entrance, the Tsuchikage and the Raikage. He just watched and waited. He bore no identifying marks or clothing of his native village. The Mizukage should be along soon, assuming Genta finished his mission on time. The timing couldn't be helped, so Jimaru had been sent ahead, it wasn't that big of a deal, he was marked with the flying thunder god seal, so the Lord Shuro could transport himself to him nearly instantly. In the meantime, he was content to watch the passerby.

Shuro stood in the door to the Mizukage's, his very own, office. He finally caught sight of the Genta's massive flying lizard setting down outside, and waited for the man to show up. When he caught sight of Genta making his way up to the office, he strode down to meet him, noticing that he did indeed have the Samehada. I see your mission was a success, good. So you have your sword now, are you coming to the chuunin exams or not? Jimaru is already there waiting for us.

Mia grunted and turned away from the cloud ninja. "Well, i gotta go, things to do and people to prank and all", Mia said aloud before taking off in a cloud of dust and debris, making it halfway across the village in minutes. "Kid, i know you don't like me but keep away from them, i may just be paranoid but a jinchuuriki is a powerful weapon. And believe me that any of them would likely kill to have you in their ranks", Kokuo rumbled in Mia's head. She silently agreed with him though she kinda liked Yoko and hoped to see her again in the future. Stopping in one of the streets Mia grinned evily before going to check on her little surpirses she had set up all over the street. It may have been expensive, but it would be worth it.

"Apologies. It was not my intent to insult you, young Jinchuuriki. You hear, I have a very blind way of speaking, for that is what I am." He said in a polite tone with a soft smile on his face. He gave her simple nod and was grabbed by his Kage. "And I thought I had lost you." She joked, putting an arm around the man's shoulder in a friendly embrace. "But somehow, I had a feeling you'd still be able to track me down." Ano simply chuckled softly at this. "There was never any doubt. I sometimes feel pity for those of you that have been curse with sight, not knowing the true wonders of being blind." Ano said proudly, obviously being somewhat sarcastic. He then chuckled to himself softly. He then sensed three powerful presences, and could immediately tell they were from Iwagakure. Ano relaxed a bit. Iwagakure was one of their oldest allies, he had nothing to fear from them. He bowed slightly in the direction of the Kantar. "Greetings, Lord Tsuchikage. It's good to hear you again." Ano said respectfully. Ano had met him on several occasions accompanying Yoko on different matters. Ano had nothing but respect for this man, he had proven that even a blind shinobi can become great, a Kage no less. He then stepped back from their conversation.

He had never met these two, but could tell it was them through their scent, chakra flow and reputation to match the two. He approached them. "Greetings, I am Ano. I assume you two are Lady Toyoka and Master Toth, correct? I was wondering if I could speak to you two for a brief moment about security." he said while smiling in a serious tone. He closed the gap between them and he was closest to Kavic. "As you probably know, the ambition of the Hokage is no state secret. The way things have been proceeding, I believe that there is a possibility that the Leaf Village may try something, and sides may be taken. I am here to assure you of the Clouds support, as long as the Stone supports us. If our two great countries can't back each other up, what hope does the rest of the world?" Ano said in a serious tone, but ending in a light one.

"Ah! Glad to see someone else shares my view on these fine battles!" Kantar exclaimed joyfully when she mentioned the younger shinobi. However when she asked how his ninja had fared he bashfully scratched his head. "Well, after last year's debacle with quantity over quality, most jounin were reluctant to recommend their teams. As it stands now, only three of our genin are in the final round. But I feel like most of the instructors were just being overly cautious and held back a number of good candidates." He shrugged, saying, "Well I guess that means we will just have a proportionately stronger showing at the next exam. And you Lady Yoko, I've heard the Hidden Cloud is making a very strong showing this time around, you must be proud." He gave a friendly smile and nod as Ano went off towards the others

Kavic watched from off to the side as the two kage talked about the tournament, happiness etched on their faces. The leaf brat had a strange conversation with the blind cloud fellow before taking off. And there was Toyoka. He hadn't said anything, wouldn't say anything in respect for the Tsuchikage's wishes, but she was very much on his bad side. She stood there, he could tell she was laughing at him, judging him, marginalizing everything he had done, been through, and sacrificed for the village. And her smile, fake as her appearance. It didn't matter that he looked far younger than his years, that was different, he didn't have a choice in the matter. She was just fake, fake like all women. He would get to fight her some day, he would show her his own way of painting...with her blood. Maybe it was just being in this cursed village that had him like this, this spineless, treacherous village. Hate, that was all he felt right now. Maybe he would...steal some pretty young leaf kunoichi's heart while he was here. It had certainly been a long time since he had done that. A murderous smile crossed his face under his mask and was gone. He looked over at Toyoka and glared. Not an angry, or sulky glare, no this was a look of hate. Nothing fake about that.
Kavic was distracted as the blind Cloud ninja came over to him. Ano, if he recalled. He had met him a few times, though they weren't particularly acquainted. "Hello Ano." He said flatly, wondering what it was he wanted to talk about. When he expressed his concern, Kavic actually felt a twisted eagerness inside of him. Letting out a low, cold chuckle he replied, "Ano I am always ready to take sides against the Leaf, you needn't worry about any lack of support from me if they start trouble."

Ano stood there waiting for Kavic's response. Then, all of a sudden, his entire energy seemed to....spark. Ano could feel it, he could taste it in the air. That feeling, there was no denying it. Joy....joy for death and a want for blood. Instead of a normal reaction to this, Ano smiled slightly. For he knew his answer even before he had said it. Letting out a low, cold chuckle he replied, "Ano I am always ready to take sides against the Leaf, you needn't worry about any lack of support from me if they start trouble." Ano's smiled increased, yet it was still rather small. "I am glad to hear it. If the Leaf try anything, they will be in for quite a surprise. It does my mind good to know that the Master of the Earth Grudge Fear technique will be an ally. Thank you Master Toth." He extended his hand towards Kavic and sustained his smile. The stories of this man all said he was a literal heart stealing monster who loves to bathe in blood. Ano couldn't see that, though. Ano couldn't see anything for that matter. He could feel the blood lust, but it wasn't the random need for battle. It was very very specific. It was like a sharpened and well honed blade, not a massive war hammer. He knew if the Leaf became Lady Yoko's enemy, this man would be one of their strongest and loyal allies. Ano was thankful that he was just as predictable as he originally made him out to be.

"GET YOUR ASS BACK HERE!!!", shouted three very angry voices as they chased one purple headed jinchuuriki. Mia was hauling ass away from them with her demonic enhanced speed back to where she had met Yoko. She had a massive grin on her face from the revenge she had just taken against her village for all the insults and unpleasant things against her and her family. In truth she hated Konoha, but her mom was here so she would stay and live out her days. Mia landed in the street next to the foreign fivesome and looked about wildly. "You didn't see anything", she pleaded before hengeing into a mailbox. Two minutes later three very pissed off chuunin covered in pig blood landed in the street and looked around. "Have you seen a purple haired bitch run by here", the leader asked angrily.
He stood at 6'3 and was radiating a fair amount of Killing Intent due to the fact that he was covered from head to foot in pigs blood.

"Hello lord Mizukage. I just got back but I will be ready to leave whenever you are. Samehada is not as evil as his former master led us to believe, I think it will make a fine companion for me." Genta rubbed his hand against the wrappings.
"Grawha!" The wrapped up blade unraveled itself and nibbled on Genta's head. It was slowly sucking on Genta's chakra, but only in a playful manner. "Someone has made a new friend. Genta-sensei we are going to go eat and then we will meet up with you at Konoha." A little girl on Genta's team giggled and left with the two other ninja.

Yumi Clan House: Target Yard
A bird chirped. A child cried. A dog barked. And merchants talked. Michiko took all this sensory information but sifted it to his subconscious where it would be continually searched for danger markers, not that he expected any in their own house but he did the same thing every time he was lining up a shot. Narrowing ones view to nothing but the arrow and the target could cause one to be sneaked up on quite easily, a lesson Michiko had learned the hard way.
He pulled the string on his bow back to his cheek, laying his sight line down the length of the arrow and on past to the target 100 feet away. Breathe in, breath out. Repeat. The mantra ran through his head as he sighted down the line, the target but a dot in the distance.
Breathe in, hold. Release. Michiko let his grip on the stem of the arrow release, the tension in the string releasing the pent up energy sending the arrow along its flight with a quiet rush. Michiko dropped his arm to his side, letting the bow down as well as he heard a solid thunk from the far end of the target range, as his arrow found the target, dead center of the bullseye. Michiko grinned and decided that was enough target practice for the day, especially considering the chunin exams were today.
He slung the bow back over his shoulder and packed up his gear. This year's exam was sure to be an interesting one just like all of them and with that thought in mind he flipped over the outside wall to the Yumi residence and headed up the path to the stadium.
