Introduction

This roleplay is extremely loosely based on the whole camp half-blood idea. But this rp has nothing to do with anything regarding the Percy Jackson series.

Olympus Academy

Located mere miles from a small town, Olympus Academy keeps safe a number of demigods, children of Mt. Olympus, all while instructing them in school, helping them to learn to control their gifts, instilling courage and wisdom (as well as some badass fighting skills), and trains them to become great warriors, worthy of the godly blood that runs through their veins.

Hidden away from the mortal world, Olympus is protected against threats from both mortals and monsters alike. Though on the outskirts of the forest that hides the school away, there lies a small town where sometimes, like on weekends, students are permitted to leave campus to go do things like normal teenagers, as their lives within Olympus are far from normal.

Not only are the students educated in all the major subjects you would find in a normal high school, they are also taught various other subjects specific to their demigod status. They are instructed in Power Use and Control, Battle Strategy, Greek Mythology (gotta know where you come from right?), and Physical Training (basically gym, but a lot harder).

Olympus might seem all ship-shape and clean-cut, but within the walls, there lies more drama than any mortal could ever dream. With godly blood coursing through them, there's bound to be a lot more than just sex, drugs, and alcohol involved, and that doesnt just mean the students. Some of the teachers are woven into the drama as well.

 • Confession Blog
 • I am open to other characters besides those that are listed above. I only did all that to pose a guideline. I'm a video maker and I really want to make a trailer for the rp, using clips of all the characters, so thats why I'm asking people to use those kinds of face claims.
 • Dont see a character you want? Is the character you want taken? Want a different face claim? Message me. I'm open to suggestions.
 • Drivers are limited to four characters.
 • I keep characters reserved for up to two days. If you dont get them in by then, I reopen the slots.
 • This is my first roleplay on here, so I'd really appreciate some guidance.
 • I want this roleplay to stay active. There's no point in me making a big video trailer if no one's going to reply. If you dont reply, I will send you a message every hour that I'm awake until you do. (not really because I'm lazy, but at least I'll try) Or I'll just skip you and you'll have to catch up on your own.
 • Please dont ask about making a child of Artemis. I left her out because she was the virgin goddess. She had no children. Only hunters and the Huntresses of Artemis were the most elite group of people in the world. So......yeah.
 • Any questions? Comments? Tips? Advice? Send me a message or drop me a line in the OOC. (drop me a line......sounds weird but ok)
 • Be literate. I dont wanna see any "lolz no way bro daz cool." I will drop kick you in the face. (again, not really. If i tried i'd probably break something, most likely my laptop.)
 • Have fun! And remember, Stitch loves you!

Em still had her eyes closed when Alex spoke and he made a joke of it which made Emilee laugh. She opened one eye at a time and then smiled, "Alex, you're my brother I don't want to see you with your pants and panties off." She said teasing him. "Who knows maybe I'd like to secretly look at Robbie." She said and as she did the blonde's eyebrows moved up and down and she laughed obviously kidding. "I mean I did agree to be his date." Em said with a wink. That was when Alex had wrapped her up in a small hug and gently kissed her cheek. He then complimented her which meant a lot to Em because Alex wasn't one to lie so you had to treasure compliments. "Thank you, and no I don't believe you did tell me." She said.

Then that's when she heard Robbie speak "Em!" and she laughed as Robbie shoved Alex out of the way and wrapped her up in his arms. This hug was better than their jumbled mess of a hug earlier and she smiled. Then as always Robbie had to complain just about how mean Alex was and that always made her laugh. Eventually after their little bicker Robbie complimented her. "Awe, thank you Robbie, you are the luckiest person in the world to have me as your date!" She exclaimed but was mostly joking.

Soon she pulled away and then grabbed her bag she brought. She had all her stuff in there that she hadn't already put on. "I think I saw Blitz walking in the hallway Alex...I think she's headed for Bailey's room." Emilee noted to her brother and then grabbed her jewlery and she put it on. It wasn't much but it just worked so much better. Soon enough she had to go do her hair and so she sneaked into the bathroom hoping Robbie didn't notice because if he did, we all knew he'd be there trying to help her do it.

Blitz Reka Licht

Blitz was sitting there and she hadn't really spoken much, honestly she just wanted to go and have fun. She mostly couldn't wait to see Alex. He'd be stunning and she already knew it, more so if Robbie had anything to do with it. She smiled at just the thought of Alex. The way he smiled at her just made her heart melt and every time he spoke it calmed her and just thinking about him made her go off in her own little world where no one could snap her back into it. She had one of those goofy yet cute smiles plastered on her face as she thought of Alex and how he may look. He's be wearing a suit of course and knowing that Robbie saw her dress he'd know what time to pick for Alex.

Soon she blinked and came back to reality. She looked at the room and had to blink a it more. What was going on? She missed everything and anything, anyone had said. Oh well, probably wasn't that important anyway. She was holding a glass of sorts and she didn't even realized she had taken it, they were making toasts now? Usually Blitz was good at this type of thing but she had hardly been paying attention. She raised her glass, "I'm toasting to a wonderful night of possible events and a time to remember and look back at, toasting to a wonderful start to a brand new year and hope everything keeps rises and only has to fall a little." She said. It wasn't her best but it was something and all she could come up with. She didn't want to seem rude but she had to finish a few last touches and on the other hand she didn't want to drink that stuff anyway.

She finally got her heels on and had them in place so they were fine. She added a few last touches and now all she had to do was wait until they could go, she wanted to leave now or perhaps Alex would come find her. She was excited for tonight but waiting for it to happen was actually boring her to be honest and she wished it hadn't and that she'd enjoy right now but she just couldn't.

Ezekiel Row

'You're right I do seem a little out of place Ms.McCarthy" he found that Amarie's talk calmed him down, he began to unfurl the bottom of his shirt, contemplating on whether or not he should venture back to his dorm and re-iron it, or that he had dressed too quickly. His attention was averted to his shirt the whole time Amarie left both Arissa and him alone at the front of the lake, he only caught the end of her suggestion when she left "Maybe you two should go together?" , he looked up, slightly dead eyed at Arissa, suddenly some kind of pang of guilt ran through him. Arissa wasn't exactly liked by most people at the Academy, as far as Zeke could tell they were on pretty neutral terms, he began to stutter while speaking to her. 'I-I...already have a date, t-that doesn't mean I wouldn't have asked you, I mean..." he quieted down thinking that he already made the situation a bit embarrasing for the both of them, really he wouldn't be acting like this if he wasn't so jittery, and out of place. "Don't mind her." "Oh well then, just..disregard anything I said before." He looked down at Arissa with an embarrassed expression. "Big night? "Ms. McCarty's right, you should straighten up. Things will be alright." 'Yeah definitely." He wondered if Everlie felt the same way, if she felt any butterflies or jitters, or maybe she was so happy that she couldn't complain. "Well, Arissa, thanks for making feel a little better about this whole..thing, you look really nice." he commented on her appearance and what he said was no lie, Arissa looked fairly beautiful, and he wondered if she had a date. "Do you have a date?"

Cale Anderson

As Bailey refilled his cup Cale couldn't help but feel a little giddy and light, rarely had he ever appeared before Bailey in a drunken state, mainly because Cale was crazy enough to try anything, he began another journey down the cup of Vodka Bailey poured for him, he gulped down half of it, and began to raise his small cup to the toast announced as some kind of celebratory drink to the year, and the night. He could definitely toast to that, this year, despite him being virtually unknown or seen as being an introvert had been maybe his best year in any school. He smiled over at the group, and took a deep gulp of the drink. The same burning sensation doused his throat, which settled into a comforting heat down into his stomach. "I don't think I'll be able to dance if we keep this up." he told Bailey. The alcohol had little effect on him, his vision was slightly blurry but that may have been caused by a mix of things. He'd never felt so comfortable around a group of people, the usual tenseness was gone and replaced by a chill, relaxed disposition. He was going to do some surprising antics, and ask some hard questions tonight. 'Hey Bailey, if I asked you to dance with me, would you?" He put his cup on the counter, motioning for Bailey to refill his empty cup. He put his arm around the younger male's shoulder in a friendly comfortable way. 'Be truthful.' All the while he was smiling.

He nodded Quinn's way to signify that hijacking his stereo was perfectly fine. He nodded again, approvingly this time of her choice in music, and almost immediately his free hand was tapping out a tattoo on his thigh along with the drums or piano or drum machine by turn.

"Here here." Bailey was terrible at toasts. It was why he'd delegated it, sort of, to everyone else. He was more than capable of hoisting his plastic cup of vodka and taking a celebratory slug of it to their sentiments, though, and he did just that. He hadn't drank nearly enough that drunkenness would dull the burn of the alcohol yet, so he could feel it sluicing all the way down his esophagus to join the assault on his stomach lining and liver. "You were doing that thing where you travel to Alex-land, weren't you?" he asked Blitz after she regained her focus. He was glad the guy made her happy, so he was just teasing.

He was midway through a long sip of vodka when he suddenly found himself draped with Cale's slender arm. He'd said something, but it hadn't quite registered. Bailey had heard it, but for some reason, just hadn't seemed to process it. Be truthful about what? he found himself thinking. Something about drinking, and dancing, and then... Hey Bailey, if I asked you to dance with me, would you? The phrasing alone made it seem like a trap. Why not just ask him to dance? Did he not want to dance with Bailey, but was curious about whether he could if he did? Focus, Bailey. Think of a lie. Any lie. Something charmingly self-deprecating. His eyebrows had shot up on his forehead, resulting in a look of perpetual astonishment, and he found himself looking to Quinn, to Blitz, for help. Maybe Quinn would insist that she be the only one to dance with him? That would be convenient, and totally possible... if Quinn were some kind of jealous, possessive crazy person who considered him her property. Blitz barely seemed cognizant of what was going on, so she'd be no help.

Then of course there was the fact that Cale was so up close and personal. It wasn't lascivious or off-putting. In fact, it was rather nice. It felt... right. The other boy was warm, or maybe they were both warm, he wasn't sure of the logistics, only that there was an awful lot of warmth that was threatening to make him perspire. He stalled for time by filling Cale's unspoken drink order, but his hand shook just a little, and he ended up spilling a few drops of the clear social lubricant on the counter. Why couldn't he have waited until I was tipsy? It sounded whiny and teenage in his head, and he was finally out of time. The Jeopardy music had run out.

"Um." Be truthful. As if he had a choice in the matter. His deception skills were about on par with his ability to sleep peacefully. Somehow he managed to get some words out around the almost painful lump that had lodged in his throat. "Well, I mean, if you wanted to I guess we could." He had the inexplicable urge to tug at his collar, but he didn't let himself give in. "You know. As friends, or whatever," he qualified, his voice a little tight. He had said any guy, hadn't he? Yeah. Or whatever. With his absurdly awkward reply discharged, he was quick to gulp down the rest of both his drinks, two-fisting it and then shaking out his head as the energy drink and too-much vodka rushed his system. His eyebrows had settled down a centimeter or two, leaving him looking more perplexed than astonished, and he decided that the way his heart was pounding was surely responsible for the blood that had crept into his cheeks to make them warm and faintly red. Seeing himself, flushed and so incredibly lame in the mirror, he only grew even more self-conscious.

"So yeah. I suck at dancing,". He just never knew when to quit. "Just a, uh, warning, for anyone I might... end up dancing with." He nodded solemnly, and couldn't quite bring himself to pull away from Cale

With a pale hand sticking out from the blanket, the brunette Greek Mythology teacher roughly rose from her bed and leaned on the headboard. She stared reflexively at the clock and upon noticing that it was late, she decided to go out and get something to eat.

Still feeling drowsy, Nissa slowly removed away what little of the sheets that were covering her body to the corner of the bed. She set her feet down the carpeted floor and reached for the towel situated at the nearby chair. She placed it in her arms and headed straight to the bathroom. It was almost time for the ball, if she wasn't mistaken. And though she was thankful that her fever had gone down, she hadn't planned on attending. She knew that Katherine and Amarie, along with the other teachers could surely afford to handle the students. Having only recovered from a sickness, she wasn't really in the mood to put herself into the company of several hormonal teens and teachers wildly enjoying the night out.

She lightly shook her head amusingly as she remembered having been one of those persons before. She was as fun-loving and stupid like they are, if not then more certainly.

In fact, if she would recall correctly, she had been worse than they are. As a teenager, there was a period where she had been the rebellious and thrill-seeking kind of girl. Though she loved and respected her father and mother dearly, having the eager curiosity to discover different things have made her rather disobedient. It was during her third year in high school where she would often be found skipping classes and flunking several exams. She would rather try joining a drag race or drinking and partying out in daylights instead of studying diligently for the next lesson. It was partly because of this that she have an estranged relationship with her father. What used to be a deeply close relationship became cracked and irreparable.

He had tried several methods just to keep her in reign but she wouldn't budge. She had felt restricted and instead of fixing her life, had became worse. He threatened to cut off her allowance and stop her schooling, but all of these were lost on her. She argued back, left home for several days and only returned until he would fetch for her himself. Her father had even pleaded and bargained with her just to make her stop but she had been so involved with the thrill of doing everything she wanted that she didn't listen.

It was only after a tragedy struck where her father, because of her stupidity, became comatose for six months that she had finally stopped. His almost-death had been so traumatic that Nissa finally snapped out of her self-absorbed bubble and changed for the better. Ever since then, she would use that particular part of her life as a reminder of doing things in an appropriate and tolerable manner. Now, though she would attend parties and get drunk once in a while, she would never let herself get out of control and cause another tragedy like that again. It was a promise that she planned to keep until death.

She snapped out of her musings and opened the door to the bathroom. She hanged the towel on a nearby rack and set the temperature of the water. Stripping out of her clothes, she went to the bath tub and decided to relax, momentarily forgetting her hunger. It had been a while since she had some time for herself. Being a teacher and an aunt could be exasperating sometimes. Fulfilling yes, but there are moments she'd rather be alone.

Image

Yeah definitely.
He replied, and she just nodded to let him know she heard him. She then opted to stare at the lake. Her thoughts on the dreaded ball happening sooner than she wanted. It was really a mistake to get out of her room and step into this dress. She have repeatedly questioned herself what had urged her to do such stupidity. Though she knew that she was not afraid of going alone and becoming silent most of the time at the hall later on, still she regretted coming. She truly didn’t wish to have others’ wandering and sneering glances as they talk about her behind her back.

She sighed and tucked some of the stray hairs behind her ears as she leaned on the tree once again. It seemed that the only option left for her was to attend the party for a few minutes and then leave immediately afterwards. After all, several people had already seen her dressed for the event and she figured that would be enough for her aunt.

"Well, Arissa, thanks for making feel a little better about this whole...thing, you look really nice." "Do you have a date?"

When she heard his next words, Arissa can’t help but raise an eyebrow in incredulity. Her eyes fixated on Ezekiel’s now more composed form, she decided that all that jittering and stuff had finally done something weird to his common sense. ‘Does he pity me or something?’ She thought skeptically. Studying his expression critically, she wondered. She knew that being hated by some of the students was her own fault. And even after undergoing some change, her past attitude would not be easily forgotten. She’s full aware of how the mind of some people worked. Some may ask and be amused with her sudden change, but some will also be unbelieving about it. What she disliked, were those who are in between. Those who were feeling compassionate or anything off sorts for people like her. It seemed like when she became quiet the others also took it as a sign for her getting weak. She hated pity above everything else and it seemed like it was what he had in mind.

She then shook off these thoughts of her mind, deciding that she is getting ahead of herself and instead said in return: “No, I don’t and I’m not really planning to have one. I won’t stay long at the ball.”

She looked at the direction of the venue and stated, “I think it’s almost time for the party to start. Shouldn’t you need to go look for your date, whoever she might be?” She politely suggested with a questioning tone, nodding to the hall some distance away from the lake.

Chugging down the wine like it was water; Lance stared at Juliette's antics as she made a fool of herself as she flirted with the History teacher. He didn't have anything against the gal and more so with his half-brother. It was really amusing enough to watch the scene between them. He can’t understand why most girls bothered their selves with Nate. Sure he was a dependable guy, one of the people he can talk anything freely about but he knew how much of a womanizer the older man is. He figured it may have something with his character that compels those people to do so.

Smirking as he saw the older man retrieving his hat, he looked into the other direction and once again busied acquainting with the wall. Now that he had nothing else to drink and since he is too lazy to get some more, he contented himself by standing and leaning at the said wall, away from other’s view.

No matter how much of a failure up his morning had been, he wouldn't dare let this evening get more destroyed than it already was. He had too much drama and frustration to last a lifetime and would just like to keep it that way.

The only thing he hoped was that he would never see that irritating b*tch here. Niamh Kaia Sanders, the woman he would rather not waste some brain cells thinking for. If there was one thing he’d call as bane of his existence, it would be her. He still couldn’t help wondering why there is a woman like her alive. He could not truly explain on what reason he hated her with but he did and for him that was a good reason enough.

He knew that there was a high probability that she’d attend but he prayed to all the divine beings to not definitely see her here. It would be better if she was to be shipped to Antartica or to Africa with no hope of being returned. If that was to happen, he’ll surely have a grand celebration for her permanent absence.

Quinn Thurston

Quinn had finished her toast when the other's began to go off on different conversations. It seemed Blitz had completely checked out of reality and was now in a completely different place. As she seemed to come to, Quinn caught the word Alex come from Bailey's mouth, so she expected Blitz had been imagining the night ahead of herself. Quinn had always wanted to find somebody that would make her do that. Completely forget where she was and just want to think about them the rest of her life, but she hadn't gotten to chance to actually look for something serious because by the time she controlled her crazy behavior she was walking through the front door of Olympus. Of course, she planned on making friends here and maybe even more than that, but her first week wasn't even over yet and she had only met a handful of students that actually attended the school.

By the time she finished her drink, she was watching a scene lay out in front of her as Cale seemed to already have the effects of alcohol taking control of the shy boy that had stepped into Bailey's room moments earlier. She thought about how many cups she'd drank compared to Cale and realized the difference in the boy. It was like he was downing two cups for each half she finished. She rolled her eyes at the idea of him hitting the floor halfway through the dance and her having to drag him back to Bailey's room. Wait, why Bailey's room? She thought to herself, and she soon realized why her mind had went there. Cale had now wrapped his arm around Bailey's shoulders and saying something. Quinn took a step closer to hear what the boy was saying and when she did, she felt a huge smile come across her face. 'Hey Bailey, if I asked you to dance with me, would you....Be truthful.'

The expression that came across Bailey's face was one of utter confusion mixed with something that Quinn found amusing. She quickly made pace for Bailey's mini fridge as she could feel Bailey's eyes trying to signal her for recovery or better yet help. She filled her cup up with a mixture of energy drinks with a hint of vodka because this was her first school event, so she thought being completely shit-faced was not the ideal look for the child of Tyche that was trying to change. She could imagine herself walking into the ball slurring every word screaming, 'I swear I'm not like my siblings. I'm the different Tyche.' Covering her mouth so the laugh wouldn't make it from her lips, she walked back over to the two boys to hear Bailey was actually coming up with a reply. She placed a hand on her hip, sitting on Bailey's bed with the biggest smile plastered on her face.

'Well, I mean, if you wanted to I guess we could...You know. As friends, or whatever.' As friends, or whatever. She let the smile be replaced with the most devilish smirk, as she gave Bailey one of her many looks that said 'You idiot!' with a small flip of her hand towards him. 'So yeah. I suck at dancing. Just a, uh, warning, for anyone I might... end up dancing with.' Quinn stood fixing her dress and walking over to where she had tossed her shoes and put them on with one hand against the wall to keep balance. "Honestly, Cale. You'll be the first one I'll let him dance with!" She gave a wink towards Bailey before splitting the two up as she wrapped her arms around her dates waist. "Time to head over, don't you think?" She asked as she left one arm around Bailey's waist. "And Cale, you can always cut in any time."

Phoebe Ann Everton

As Chloe agreed not to talk to Chance tonight, Phoebe smiled happily, “right!” She said, laughing a little, “Chancey is so much more fun when he’s in a good mood.” Then as she stopped painting Phoebe’s toe-nails, the child of Iris laughed. “I knoooow,” she said, playfully sticking her tongue out at Chloe. She knew not to touch them; she just… didn’t really do the painting part. The girl smiled widely and Chloe’s next words about her being prettier than Ariel. “Nah,” she said, giggling softly as she began swinging her legs back and forth, made possible by the fact that her feet didn’t quite reach the floor from where she was sitting on the bed. “Ariel has no imperfections; she’s a drawing,” she countered, laughing. “And I have ugly feet, a mole on my neck, and a lot of scars on my fingers… though, mostly those are my own fault.” Then the tiny redhead laughed again, before she tilted her head slightly, thoughtfully adding, “I should probably start looking at the vegetables I chop in the kitchen.” Her face lit up in another big smile then, looking at Chloe as the girl moved to her phone, picking it up to text.

Pheebs was willing to bet the text was for Malcolm. Who else? She’d just agreed not to talk to Chance yet, so really, it could only be Malcolm. Not that Chloe didn’t have other friends; she had plenty, but none that she had reason to text right now. She didn’t say anything; merely sat there, on the bed, waiting for her nail polish to dry, swinging her legs, watching Chloe. She was so happy for Chloe, it was almost indescribable, yet a little part of her heart, the one that belonged to Chance, just… couldn’t help feeling bad about it. This whole situation was just so conflicting! She began softly humming a melody, looking at her beautiful dress. Chloe was right, she supposed; she would look pretty in it, but whether or not she looked good wasn’t the actual issue. Phoebe’s mind drifted to Gabey; he’d told her not to think about what everyone else would think, because they loved her no matter what she wore; they’d understand that her dress didn’t change the person she was, and she supposed he was right. His words had been helpful, but the tight hug that followed had been even better. She loved him so much; he was just always there to say or do exactly the right thing.

The child of Iris was shook out of her own little world when Chloe turned to ask her about Chance. She turned her head to look at her, a bright smile on her lips, “oh, he’s meeting me there. Just seemed easiest.” She said, joy in her tone. Then as Chloe moved to play with her hair, asking what she wanted to do with it. “You decide.” She said, having complete confidence in Chloe’s judgement. Besides, Chloe was most likely going to be doing it, so it made sense to Phoebe that she got to decide. “Whatever you think would look good, I’m fine with. Hey, how is it, anyway? The ball… what was it like last year? I never asked. I mean, is it themed or just sparkly and glittery? Do people get like… really, really drunk and puke everywhere or just a little tipsy? Will everyone be dancing? And how about Niamh and Cadence? I know they’re going, but, I mean, they don’t like these sort of things, do they? So why are they going? It’s going to lots of fun, but I don’t understand. What do they even do at these things? Is Chance a good dance, by the way? I never danced with him before, and I’m really nervous he’ll step on my toes now that you just painted them so pretty.” She was babbling again she realized; Chloe couldn’t possible remember to answer all those questions. The girl blushed slightly, her cheeks suddenly matching her hair, a little, apologetic smile on her lips, an embarrassed laugh emanating from between them. “I’m sorry… I just… I think I’m sort of nervous.”

Alex Reed

At Robbie’s comment about the shirt, Alex laughed, adding a sarcastic “right”, shaking his head, letting the shirt hang loose, and that’s when Em knocked on the door. Soon he was hugging her, complimenting her. As she replied, he chuckled. “I should’ve,” he just managed to add before he was brutally pushed out of the way, hearing Robbie whine as he did so very, very often. Alex managed to take a few steps back, balance regained in minute and he laughed at Robbie along with Emilee, sticking his tongue out at him. “Yeah, you’re right. You figured out my secret, Robbie. Whatever should I do now?” He replied playfully, before he finally tightened the tie up, looking at himself in the mirror. He’d done his hair when Robbie had gone to the bathroom to shower, and now he looked the way he was supposed to… or something. He let the jacket remain open too and straightened himself.

Then as the two conserved, talking about Em’s appearance, Alex began drifting off a little, fixing the tiniest little things in his outfit, like a little crease here or there; made him feel a little like Robbie, honestly, but he couldn’t help it. He didn’t want anything ruining tonight for Blitz. Now, he knew his outfit wasn’t really that big a part of it, but he knew his girlfriend would be straightening out his outfit the second she saw him, if he didn’t do it himself, so really he was just relieving her of work. Or maybe he was sort of… nervous? No, that wasn’t the word. Excited? Not about the ball, but about Blitz. He loved that beautiful smile on her face, and he’d make sure it stayed there the entire evening. He’d allow nothing to get in the way of those plans and he knew how much the ball meant to her; she’d spent so much time setting it all up, he knew she wanted the evening to be perfect. That was the thing with children of Zeus, he supposed; perfectionists. But hey, after a couple of years with Robbie, you got used to stuff like that.

Alex was brought back into the world when he heard that magical name on his sister’s lips. He glanced at her. “Huh? Bailey?” He asked, wondering. “He’s gay, right?” he then continued, smiling wryly. What? So he got a little jealous. Now, he knew the kid had nothing on him, but it was the principle of the matter. He didn’t want Blitz taking an interest in anyone else; he’d never forgive her if she screwed things up. He knew that. The circumstances never mattered; it was the act itself. Didn’t matter, though; he knew Blitz. He trusted Blitz. Didn’t he? Yeah, he did. Blitz was an amazing, smart, beautiful, strong girl and he loved her. He knew she loved him too, so why was he even considering the fact that she might hurt him? She’d never do that. It wasn’t who she was, which was exactly why he’d let her in. Well, as much as he let anyone besides Robbie in, anyways.

“Oh well, doesn’t matter,” he then continued, smiling wryly at Robbie and Emilee. “I’ll just go find her there, I suppose. We were supposed to meet at the ball, but if I know Blitz, she’d love it if I came by, so…” he said, bowing at the pair, “I’ll get going, unless you have something you need to change about the way I look, Robbie?” He straightened, smiling wryly at Robbie as he made his way towards the door. He placed his hand on the handle, but didn’t leave yet. Robbie would throw a fit if Alex left looking less than he could, so the tall male remained inside the room, waiting for his best friend to comment.

Mr. Nathan Hensleigh

Nathan had heard the sound of heels closing in before Ness’ voice made an appearance. He looked up from the iPod, smiling at his beautiful Latina. She really did look quite gorgeous, he had to admit. Besides, he was done looking through the playlist, and as the girl talked to the DJ, Nathan put the music player back into the dock, looking up just to see Ness placing a little bottle of whiskey in front of him. He chuckled at her words, “yeah, you’re probably right,” he told her, a seductive glint in her eyes, “although I’m certain my plans for later will make up for it.” Then he took the bottle, watching her walk away, until she turned, commenting on his hat. Nate sent his student a wry smile; he knew she’d seen the exchange between him and Jules. “Oh, I know,” he merely said, voice flirtatious. He couldn’t help but look at the perfect bottom swaying on Ness’ way away from him. Then he cleared his throat and chuckled a little.

He talked to the DJ for a little while, before Nate made his way down the snack-tables, catching sight of Lance a little off to the side. As usual, the kid was more or less alone. Nate shook his head, turned around so that he was slightly out of sight. Then he downed the entire bottle Ness had given him; then threw the empty glass in the trashcan to his right. He sighed, relieved. He could feel his stress-level decreasing by the minute. He’d survive this. He would. Nathan let a gust of air pass his lips, rubbed his neck a little and turned to watch the room a little. It was quickly filling up; his students already chatting eachother up, flirting, hugging and laughing. He missed being a carefree student sometimes, he had to admit. And then, on the other hand, he could do without the extra, raging hormones. He had enough sexual issues as it was. His eyes landed on Juliette and Ness, watching them a little. He was so fucking screwed, it was almost unreal. He knew that Juliette didn’t know of him and Ness, he also knew that Ness didn’t know that he actually took an interest in the brunette. If something happened between him and Juliette, Ness would flip. She’d probably be able to take him being with someone else, as per their agreement to be in an ‘open’, secret relationship.

However, he also knew that the Latina wouldn’t be able to accept it with her best friend. And that’s what Juliette was; Nate had picked up as much. He’d never let her know that, though; probable deniability was his best friend sometimes. He shook his head, deciding not to worry about women any more today. Well… until after the ball, at which point he’d be busy with one Latina in particular. His gaze went from the girls to his younger half-brother, smiling at the kid before walking over to him. “You don’t exactly look happy to be here, Lance.” He noted playfully, raising his eyebrow at the son of Poseidon. “You realize it isn’t mandatory, right?” He smiled at the kid. Nate honestly had no idea why Lance had even showed himself; he wasn’t the most social of people, and the teacher hadn’t expected him to be there at all. He hoped Lance would take the opportunity to break out of his shell a little; too many students here tried to distance themselves.

Chloe Huntington

No reply yet. Chloe's hand had flitted over to her phone, checking the messages icon at the top, hoping that Malcolm had text her in the time it had taken her to finish her friend's nails. But no, he hadn't. Maybe he had forgotten? Oh no, Chloe. Don't think like that. That's not you. You're the confident, sassy daughter of Poseidon. Be that girl, instead of the worrier, tonight. Her own brain was lecturing her on putting herself down, and she had to shake her head to bring her back to the reality of her bedroom, with little Pheebs sitting on her bed, her legs swaying backwards and forwards. "You, missy, do not have ugly feet, or any of that stuff you said that makes you think you're imperfect. You're beautiful, deal with it." She stuck her tongue out playfully at the little girl she thought of as a younger sister, more than she did a friend.

Then, the brunette girl was sitting behind Phoebe, her hands running through her beautiful red locks. "Meeting you there, huh? If Malcolm doesn't message me back, I'll go with you and just talk to people until he arrives." She shrugged, parting the hair at the center, before frowning, then putting it back the way it was. "Mhm... how--" Chloe began to speak, telling the girl what she was planning to do with her hair, but then Phoebe started on another one of her rants. This time, the girl could barely keep up with the thousands of questions escaping the younger, crazy girl's lips, and her eyes widened in shock at how quick her voice had become.

Once Phoebe had stopped talking, finally, Chloe put her hands softly on her shoulders, and took in a deep breath, asking the girl to copy her. "You need to calm down, sweetie." She smiled, before then leaning back and she began to play with the girl's hair. "Right, from what I remember you asking, here are your answers; I have no idea if there is a theme or not, but if there was, we would have been told by Jules and her large mouth. Of course people will get really drunk, throw up and pass out - I hope to be one of them, but you stay away from all that. I reckon most people will be dancing, yes. We all love a good party. The two Hades daughters will probably be there, but if they cause problems, you know ol' Nate or Boone will throw them out, if they're coherent enough to do so. Finally, Chance is a wonderful dancer, you have nothing to worry about. If he even chipped your beautifully painted nails, I'll drown him, okay?" She laughed playfully, before tugging lightly at one of the strands in Phoebe's hair. "So, what about if we push all your hair to once side, clip it in place, and have ringlets coming down?"

Lukas Tricon

"Well, sleeping with a hanger in your mouth just has to be slightly uncomfortable, don't you think?" Luke's voice was playful as he spoke to his beautiful date for the evening. He gently squeezed her hand as they walked slowly towards the auditorium, and he couldn't stop himself from looking over at her. How had he gotten here? About two months ago, this girl was his best friend, his girlfriend's best friend, and they were happy like that. But now, since Clover had left, look at them. They were holding hands, walking as dates to the ball together. He couldn't ignore the butterflies that were darting around in his stomach; they weren't something that occurred when you held hands with your friend.

Deep down, Ava had always been something more to Lukas. He had always wanted to protect her, hug her and be close to her. Yes, he had loved Clover very much, and he hadn't ever thought about cheating on her, but now that she was gone, he was beginning to realize the force as to which he was being drawn towards Ava, and he had been for some time. "I'm glad I asked you too, Ava." The blonde boy shot her a beautiful smile as they walked through the corridor.

He really was the luckiest guy alive. Maybe Clover had left them with some luck after all.

Ness Tate

Ness felt that usual tingle through her entire body as she looked at Nathan Hensleigh. He had such a hold over her, it was stupid. Honestly, what girl let herself get this involved with someone that she knew wasn't right for her, yet she wanted with all of her heart. Vanessa was supposed to be a smart, naive, and sensible girl - but really, she was being reckless and irresponsible. But, she liked it. There was nothing that was going to keep her from her teacher, the man that she had lusted after for the last three years, and even though it felt so wrong, it was oh, so right. The way his hands felt on her body, the way he knew exactly what she liked and where, and the way that he knew exactly how she was feeling, even when she was trying to hide it from him. She felt her legs almost turn to jelly at the sound of his seductive voice, the mentioning of them being together tonight causing her to smile as she walked away from him.

Oh, Nathan Hensleigh, what do you do to me? She thought to herself as she walked back towards her friend, slinging her arm over Juliette's shoulders, hugging the girl to her body lightly. She had no idea that her best friend was on the same train of thought as her, and that was definitely for the best. She was happy, right now; happy with how she looked, happy with being with her best friend, happy for Ava and Luke, happy about what was going to happen after the ball. The girl was a smiling mess. Then again, the alcohol coursing through her system had to have something to do with her overly happiness. It was either that or the way that Nate had that hold over her that just made her smile when she was in his presence. She didn't know; but what she did know was that she was going to have a good time tonight with Jules, and that they would steal Ava for at least one dance.

However, even through the tipsy cloud that was beginning to cover her mind, Ness could see that Jules wasn't right. She didn't have her usual bright smile plastered over her face, the one she had on was obviously fake, and she looked almost sad. Her words made the Latina girl frown and she used her free arm to pull the bottle of vodka out of her bag. "Have some, honey." She smiled, giving it to the brunette. "What do you mean, you don't want to be you? Look at this place, Jules! You've done this. It's beautiful. You look beautiful. And you, are going to be you tonight. Just a happy, drunken you." She grinned playfully, before taking a sip of the vodka herself, then slipping it back into her bag. If she was caught giving alcohol to an under-age student... well, she'd probably be pushed. Oh, I'd like to be punished by a certain teacher. That naughty thought caused a giggle to escape her mouth, and then she gave her friend another hug, before dropping her arm to her side. "Come on, babe. Cheer up. Let's have some fun tonight. okay?"

Robbie Devaux

Robbie sat quietly for the first time whilst Emilee and Alex spoke about Blitz and Bailey. His mind flickered towards the boy that the two had mentioned; Bailey Raynes. The boy was a confusing specimen to say the least, and Robbie had taken a strange interest in him. He was such a lovely boy, and yet, there was something about him that intrigued the child of Isis. He had no idea what it was that was pulling him towards the curious child of Zeus, but something was. Maybe it was just the way he liked to understand everything and everyone around him, Bailey included. Who knew? Robbie sure didn't. A sigh escaped the male's lips as he sat there, contemplating everything. He was friendly with Bailed, but he wanted to know him better. He wasn't sure how much better though - feelings like this were completely knew to the boy who everyone thought was 'gay', but he hadn't really admitted it himself yet - hell, he wasn't even sure that he was. He just knew that he had strange feelings towards a couple of the men here at Olympus, and Bailey was at the top of his list.

His mind was brought back to the room however when Alex moved, and he was standing in front of the door." Don't you dare leave this room, Mr Reed. I swear to God, I'll kill you with rainbows." He grinned playfully, although there was a serious tone in his voice. Robbie stood up and made his way over to the male that he had no feelings for; the one male he knew he would never have feelings for in that way. Alex was his best friend, always had been, and that really would never change. He tightened the knot at the top of the male's tie slightly, hating the slacking look that his male friend seemed to prefer, and then he walked around him, as if surveying a statue. He brushed off a little bit of fluff from the man's backside, and then came around to the front once more. His eyes were squinted, as if looking for any imperfection, and after pushing one little strand of Alex's hair back to the place from whence it came, the frown on his face was replaced by a bright smile.

"There. You're complete. See, what would you do without me? You would have left looking like a slacker with messy hair and butt fluff. You're welcome." Robbie bowed playfully in front of his friend, before gestured for him to leave the room. "Go, get your girl. Give her a kiss from me." He winked.

Ava Sawyer

Ava laugh had a velvet tone as she enjoyed Luke's joke "oh extremely uncomfortable" she returned with a bright smile and a squeeze of his hand, which surprisingly was a perfect fit within his, it was an odd feeling, Luke was her best friend, he had been for a long time, she wasn't suppose to feel these feelings for her best friend, platonic love, yes. Passionate love? No, but hell here she was her hand fitting perfectly in his, her heart leaping to the skies and all she wanted was him. As they approached the hall where the dance was being held, Ava glanced up at Luke, he was just so handsome it made her heart flutter, she was glad to see him smiling, it had been a while since she had seen that big ole goofy grin of his and know here he was grinning like that whole Clover situation had never happened and that made her truly happy.

"you okay sweetie?" she asked stopping him just before they entered the hall "because if this is too soon for you I would completely understand" she smiled softly, reaching up to straighten his tie, her hands lingering on the lepells of his jacket as she gazed up into his lovely blue eyes. Of course she hoped that he would be ready for this big step, but she did feel like she was throwing him in the deep end slightly, she certainly didn't was him to feel uncomfortable.

Jules (who most likely now has an obsession with Lost Girl)

Watching Ness talk to Hensleigh, Jules felt a pang of some unknown emotion run through her. Pushing it off as a side effect of the alcohol, she bit down on her lip and looked around. The room had begun to fill up. Finally. Now maybe she would actually find something fun to do.

When her friend offered her a drink, Jules gladly took it. "What the hell, I'm 18. It's not like they can send me to jail for it. Besides half of the school is going to be smashed by the time this night is over." She tipped back the bottle and took three large gulps without taking a breath. Jules had always been one to hold herself when she was drunk. Looking over at her friend, she handed her the bottle and sighed. Somehow, just with the look in Ness' eyes, she was able to bring an explanation from Jules' lips. Stupid meanie-head. "Robbie asked me to the dance tonight, and....I said no. And now, I'm...pretty sure he's going to hate me for the rest of my natural life." With those words, she took out her own flask, which she'd filled with...something special, and threw it back, drinking down half of the container in one go, but cringing as it practically burned its way down her throat. It warmed her though, and she closed her eyes, just letting the heat take over as she lay her head on her friend's shoulder. Ness was like her safety net. She kept her going when she felt like giving up, usually meaning she kicked her ass when Jules didnt want to keep going.

To be completely honest, Jules had always been a bit jealous of her best friend. Here she was, the not tall, but not short enough to be considered really short girl who drew hearts on her face and wore heels when she wanted to look taller. The girl who never let anyone in and had about 3 layers of masks covering who she truly was.. Then, stand her up against Ness. This beautiful Latina with this huge heart that made her open to so many people. That was what Jules envied about Ness. How open she could be. How true her emotions were. It always seemed easy for Ness, because she was just that kind of girl. That kind of go with the flow kind of person who always made people smile when they were down. Jules could never be that way. Hell, she even hid most of her emotions from Ness! She'd learned to be a good liar because she just..didnt want people to know. Yes, she was fucked up, and yes, she had her reasons, but they were reasons that she didn't particularly feel like sharing. They weren't exactly slumber party conversation material.

Shaking her head, she put on a smile and looked to her friend. "Well! What now? Do we wait until this little shin dig takes off or do we go find one of the teacher's secret stashes of alcohol when ours runs low? It's either that or go skinny dipping, but I'm pretty sure you wouldn't exactly want to go for option C." She threw an arm over the girl's shoulder. "By the way, I just wanted to say...dat you wook weel perdy too Nessie-poo." She said, her baby voice coming out in the end. She smiled up at her friend, before looking back out across the room, and not surprisingly, her eyes fell on Hensleigh.

Fucking hell she was so screwed.

It was like her eyes just couldnt stay off of him. Thoughts began invading her mind, and even though they were the very nice kinds of thoughts that she would gladly curl up in her bed and fall asleep having most likely really graphic dreams about, she couldnt daydream here. Not when she was surrounded by so many people, and especially not when she was supposed to be having a conversation with her best friend. Ness would most likely know something was up if Jules' eyes just glazed over as she stared at their amazingly gorgeous history teacher. And that would only lead to either a lecture, or an interrogation as the latina tried to dive into Jules' thoughts, a part of her that, especially at the current moment, needed to stay secret.

This time, the slap Jules gave her self was more than mental. Before she could stop herself, her own hand shot up and hit her in the face. Shaking her head, she blinked a few times, trying to regrasp her current situation, but when she looked up.....dammit.

She needed more alcohol.

Draining the rest of her flask, Jules noticed Lance being all....still, and nodded to her friend in that 'be right back' sort of way that she hoped the girl would understand, before setting down her flask and walking over to the boy. Seeing Hensleigh walk up to him, she mentally stabbed herself in the mind with a machete a couple of times before raising one finger to her lips in a shush motion before creeping up behind the younger son of Poseidon and covering his eyes. She didnt say anything. She just stood there. He'd know who she she was immediately if she spoke. Jules was no idiot. She knew how to play the cover-their-eyes game.

(Ok I swear, I am writing for Evie and Kate now!)

Cale Anderson

"Well, I mean, if you wanted to I guess we could. You know. As friends, or whatever

Cale nodded at Bailey's suggestion, he gave a little sigh, "Phew I thought you were going to say no, I get I'm not attractive, but give me a break." he left his arm hang a little lower. He nipped at the edges of his paper cup, as he listened to Bailey. "Trust me whatever you can dish out I'm worse. But its better to just let go and have fun eh?" Quinn seemed to be responsive to Bailey's reaction, he was a man of short words, and extended actions, and Quinn found a way to swim around that. "Honestly, Cale. You'll be the first one I'll let him dance with!"The arm Cale placed around Bailey's shoulders was met with the arm Quinn twisted around her date's forearm. "Time to head over, don't you think? And Cale, you can always cut in any time."

Cale raised his cup high in that air, his teeth biting down on his lower lip, in a rockstar esque fashion. "Amen to that! Sorry Quinn I hope you don't mind me taking up the request." He grasped Bailey's other hand and began a little mini waltz with him across the room without his permission. Cale was surprisingly talented at keeping up, the waltz was something he had to learn whenever his father was invited to get-togethers or charities, but it was a wonder how he kept up when he was drunk. He spun him around once more before returning him to Quinn's side. "Just wanted to get in on our little deal before you did Quinn, you'll need him a lot more than I do." He bowed in front of two, he wasn't drunk enough to feel the euphoria, and not drunk enough to notice that he felt a little embarrassed for showing a different part of himself. This was signified by the little palette of red on his cheeks. He grasped the bottle from the counter, closing the small lid, and then stuffing it inside his sweater. Turning back around to the two he announced that he was prepared.

"Now I'm ready."

Amidst his rather productive unproductive thinking about a dearly hated girl, Lance looked around the hall and found the distinctive increase in the number of attendees for the ball. Letting out a weary sigh as he fully knew that his privacy would sooner be invaded, he readied himself. He already drank more than two bottles of wine but he wasn’t feeling a little bit tipsy yet. And so with a vision as clear as the bright blue sky, he noticed a certain History teacher approaching him from afar. He removed himself off the wall he is currently leaning into and placed both of his hands inside the pockets of his pants, standing on the sides.

“You don’t exactly look happy to be here, Lance. You realize it isn’t mandatory, right?”

He heard the older man say in greeting, smiling at him in the process. “It’s a nice night Nate; I wouldn’t dare pass up a party like this.” The eighteen year old smirked at him disregarding the comment about not happy being here, and took out his right hand as he gestured to the drinks on the table. “Besides the opportunity to have unlimited booze is too tempting to miss,” he continued, further vanishing away any negative thoughts either about Jessica or Niamh that he had.

He knew that Nate had a point on wondering why he even entered the four walls of this hall. He wasn't the most sociable person around and while he may drink with the others once in a while, it was uncommon for him to be found in a throng like this. However, while he’s sure that he can talk to him about anything, Lance would prefer to leave things as they are. It would be awkward and totally a stupid move to tell him that he wanted to get wasted in order to forget his f*cked up morning. While he may have once or twice mentioned Jessica and about their current relationship status, he figured that was enough. He didn’t need to update Nate about his love life or the almost lack thereof.

Lance then questioningly looked at him in the corner of his eyes, wondering why Nate bothered to approach him. As far as he knew, missing out class this morning was not a big issue since he really didn’t make it a habit to skip lessons. And while they are in good terms, it wasn’t necessary for them to check each other’s situation.

Not that he minded company, especially since he had only recently solidified the resolve to not let Jessica’s selfish actions to ruin his night (-and coming weeks) but he reckoned that in a party such as this one, Nate would rather be with the other teachers or students instead.

“How about you Nate, how is the lesson going?” He continued in a teasing tone as he nodded towards the direction of the black-haired girl standing far on the side with her more than tipsy best friend. He was referring to how the History teacher flirted with the said student. It was amusing and entertaining. Lance wasn’t privy to the older man’s problems and certainly not about his romantic issues but having just recently witnessed a drama in the making between the three, he couldn’t help but goad him. Knowing that he would not be offended with his sarcastic comments nor mischievous comments, Nate was apparently quite used to him and his more than humoring comments, he smirked again. “Care to share some tips for that?”

Lance then opted to walk towards the nearest chair when he noticed how idiotic he looked: hiding in the corner as he conversed with him. He was about to move when suddenly a pair of hands covered his eyes blocking his view.

His first instinct was push the intruding hands away and tackle the person and he actually did that. Moving agilely as he slightly pushed the person backwards to the wall, he grabbed the intruder’s wrist, locking it in place with both of his hands. He ducked to the side in order to get out of the hold and turned to face the person, determined to give him a peace of his mind, still firmly holding his hands. He was more than shocked into stillness when he noticed Juliette Halliwell’s drunken yet undeniably striking face just a short distance away from him.

“Jules?” He spoke out loud in an incredulous voice, unable to stop the question from coming out his mouth. Totally aware of the small distance between their faces, their lips only several inches away from each other; he instantly stepped back and dropped her wrists.

“Sorry ‘bout that,” he said as an explanation. “I thought you were someone else”, he added sheepishly scratching the back of his head. What she did was totally unexpected and being the not so touchy feely guy, he reacted in the way he naturally did. “Are you ok?” He asked with the concern evident in his voice. He hadn’t been gentle or anything of sorts with his actions after all.

Lukas Tricon

Just before they entered the hall, Ava slowed Luke down to a stop, and looked up at him with earnest eyes. He frowned momentarily, wondering what she was going to say to him, but she seemed slightly worried. He didn't like it. It put him on edge instantly. When she asked him however if this was okay with him, as it was quite soon after Clover, Luke gave a small chuckle. He was perfectly fine with it! Even though he had only crawled out of his dark bedroom this morning, brought himself back into the world of the living, he had already decided that he had wasted enough time crying over Clover. She had left him, without a single word on their anniversary - who does that to the man that they are supposed to love?

"Ava, listen. I... How can I explain how I feel about you... and everything.... and...oh, sod it." The blonde haired son of Hephaestus wasn't able to get a coherent line of speech out of his mouth, so instead, he decided to show her. The male brought the hand that wasn't clasping hers up to his chest, resting over her perfectly manicured hand that was resting on his lapel, and he bent his head down slowly. Luke's lips gently brushed against Ava's, in a soft kiss that lasted for about three seconds. "I don't really think that Clover's in my mind any more, Ava." He whispered against her lips, the movement of his lips would be felt against hers. "Come on, let's go. I'm quite looking forward to dancing with you all night." The smile one Lukas' face was brighter than it had ever been as he gestured for her to walk on, holding the door of the auditorium open for her to walk through.

Ness Tate

"Oh sweetie." Ness breathed as she looked at her best friend. She had been worried about Robbie asking Jules to the dance for weeks now, and he had to go and do it on the actual day, didn't he? She was going to have to have words with him later - no-one upset her best friend on such a big day like this and got away with it. "Jules, you know he won't hate you! That boy hangs off of your every word. There's nothing on earth that you could do to make him hate you." She reassured her friend, whilst her head came to rest atop of hers. They were each others rocks, and safety nets, and everything. Ness didn't know where she would be without Jules by her side, and she really wished that she could sit down with her and talk about the entire Nate situation. But, she knew that no-body could know what was going on between them; and Nathan had wished for her to keep it quiet anyway. She would do what he asked without question. God, she was whipped.

The latina girl was brought back to the conversation at hand when Jules suggested they go hunt for the teacher's stash of alcohol, and her smile brightened. "They've probably hidden it well, like last year. What about if we ambush a teacher and beat it out of them?" A small giggle escaped her mouth as she thought about kidnapping a teacher and torturing the details of the alcohol whereabouts out of them. Other ways to get the alcohol details ran around in the girl's head, and it took her to a naughty place. Ness could literally feel her face flush as she thought about torturing Nathan, but it wouldn't be for alcohol. Oh no, it'd be for a completely different reason. The girl's heart-rate accelerated as she stood there, and she had to take the vodka out of her purse again and take another large gulp before she felt herself calm down. By the end of the night, I'm going to be a friggin' alcoholic! She scolded herself, before deciding not to care. Nate had asked her not to get too drunk tonight, so she would be coherent later, but there didn't seem to be any other way to get through the night without making a public spectacle of their "relationship". "You look beautiful too, Jules honey! It's going to be difficult to keep the men away from you tonight." Vanessa smiled, trying to bring her best friend back to her bubbly self.

Jules then suddenly slapped herself in the face, and Ness' lips fell into an 'O' shape. She was in complete shock, and was about to scold the girl for doing something so silly (and then take her alcohol away), but she was then running off towards Lance, and the gorgeous history teacher who were having a conversation in the middle of the room. Ness shook her head as she follow the footsteps of her best friend, feeling her legs already beginning to get a little weaker with the amount of vodka coursing through her system. Her eyes were blurry and her head was swimming. Yeah, she was borderline drunk now, and she absolutely didn't care. The girl had to lean against the wall near the trio, giving her some sort of stability before the scene unfolded. Jules creeping up on Lance, signaling Nate to keep quiet, and then she was being shoved against the wall. A small gasp escaped the girl's lips as she saw this, and she jolted forward, as if rushing to her friend's salvation. However, as she went, Ness felt her ankle collapse underneath her, and she almost fell to the ground - the wall being again, her only source of stability. "Crud!" She said to herself, looking down at the broken heel hanging from her foot.

Somehow, Ness had twisted her ankle in the process of dashing forward, broken the heel of her shoe and pulled the muscles in her ankle to the point of pain. Great. We've been here about ten minutes. Bloody amazing. She headed over to the chair furthest away from the trio that she had been watching, not wanting to disturb anyone by her accident. The thin ankle was already beginning to swell a little, but it was just a twist. She had tripped too many times during a run not to know what had happen to her ankle. It'd be all right in about half an hour or so - she just needed to wait. Her shoes on the other hand... well, that was ruined. A gasp of pain shot eminated from the girl's lips as she brought her foot up onto her lap, so that she could take off the broken shoe and throw it in the corner of the room. The next one followed and she was just sitting there, her head lolling against the wall.

This was going to be a brilliant night.

Ava Sawyer

As Luke began Ava's heart begn to flutter, alarmingly fast, she felt as if her knees were about to buckle, she didn't know if what he was about to say was good or bad, for a second she felt horribly awkward but as he began to speak about his feeling towards her she eased up slightly. As he brought his hand to rest atop of hers, Ava's heart fluttered faster, if that was even possible, she swallowed the lump in her throat before letting her bright smile appear, seeing Lukes head dip towards hers, the fluttering stopped, holy shit he was going to kiss her! The butterflies in her stomach were in full blown somersault mode as their lips pressed together for their first kiss, a kiss that nearly blew the blonde away, for Ava nothing had ever felt to right.

A quick pang of sadness swept over her body as Luke pulled away, that kiss was no way long enough but seeing that large smile on his face, that smile which she loved so dearly made her heart swell and a smile matched his as he stood there holding the door open for her "why how chivalrous of you" she laughed walking over to but before entering, the blonde woman pushed herself up onto her tip toes, wrapped her around Luke's neck and kissed him deeply before pulling away. Smiling at him, she gently wiped her lipstick from his lips "it's really not your colour" she chuckled slightly before letting out a small sigh "you've made me so happy Lukas" she whispered into his ear before grabbing his hand to drag him into the crowded hall "now let's dance!"

Bailey Raynes

He was beginning to lose track of his own bedroom, or at least, what was going on in it. The combination of alcohol and energy drinks was indeed beginning to vibrate through him. The vodka blunted the edges of the usual nervous energy that his taurine addiction resulted in, and the Red Bull had his heart pumping faster (or maybe that was the awkward situation, Cale, Quinn, he couldn’t tell?), which made it seem like the drunkenness was spreading like a California wildfire.

Quinn was trying to rescue him, he was pretty sure. Up until that point she’d just been watching like it was some kind of reality show where incredibly awkward gay guys got drunk and made fools of themselves… which, with the addition of cameras, it could very well have been. She was putting on shoes, at his side, assuring Cale he’d get his dance...

… but then Cale was whisking him off in a waltz. Bailey stumbled the first few one-two-three’s, mostly due to being utterly unsure that this was actually happening. He could have put a stop to it easily. Hell, if he had a mind to, he could have slung Cale over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes and tossed him on the bed. Do not think about tossing boys on your bed, he chided himself immediately. The dance number was over blessedly quick, and Cale bowed. Bailey just stood there with his mouth hanging open for a few seconds, glancing at Quinn and then Blitz. He worked his slack jaw to form words.

”Umm. Cale. You’ve probably had enough.” He extended his arm, hand open, clearly intending to remove the rest of the vodka from the other boy’s possession. If he was already in this sort of form, Bailey couldn’t imagine what he might do with a few more shots in him… but he had a feeling he’d be just as ill-equipped to deal with whatever it was as he had been the request to dance, or the waltz itself.

He nodded to Quinn, and offered her his arm in a gentlemanly fashion- elbow crooked at a perfect ninety degrees, parallel to the ground. ”Time to head over,” he agreed, drawing a deep breath as he sought composure. The alcohol had begun a dance of its own in his bloodstream, a little minuet where the warmth in his gut started to swirl out into his limbs, and worse, up into his head. His stomach gave an insistent little gurgle, as if to remind him that he hadn’t put anything besides medication and spirits in it for hours. He looked to Blitz. ”We can sort of circle around and go by Alex’s room, if you want?”

His eyes slipped to Cale. He’d have to keep an eye on him. Technically, his inebriation was Bailey’s fault, and Bailey had a soft-spot for the child of Athena anyway. And he’d probably owe Quinn a few apologies before the night was out. He just stood there thinking, only it wasn’t going so well thanks to the fuzziness that had wrapped itself around his brain, waiting for the others to help him decide what they were doing.

Phoebe Ann Everton

Little Pheebs giggled at Chloe’s compliment. She couldn’t help it. It was just such a funny thing how her ‘sister’ liked to pretend she was more perfect than she was. Phoebe could point out all of her imperfection, both physical and mental, and it wouldn’t faze the brunette in the slightest. It wasn’t that Phoebe hated herself, or thought she was ugly; she liked the way she looked, but she wasn’t oblivious to the ways she might appear unappealing to other, even if she failed to see their imperfections most of the time. “Okay, okay,” she replied, still giggling slightly, “I give up… if you stop fidgeting with your phone. Malcolm would be silly to let you slip from his mind even a second, and Malcolm isn’t silly. So there.” She said, finishing the argument. She’d put her mind to it, and now there was no deterring her. Phoebe knew in her heart that Malcolm and Chloe would figure it out. Chloe usually ended up with what she wanted, and she’d wished for Malcolm for so long, it would simply be impossible for something not to happen. Malcolm was probably just busy getting ready and hadn’t realized the text.

Then, at Chloe’s comment about going with her to the hall is Malcolm didn’t reply, the young girl merely smiled up at the daughter of Poseidon and began rambling, now partly to get Chloe’s mind off of Malcolm, although she didn’t quite realize how fast she’d been babbling until Chloe’s facial expression registered and she giggled a little breathlessly, while Chloe guided her breathing back to normal. She smiled sheepishly at being chastised, not saying anything back. The look in her eyes showed all the apology needed. As Chloe finished replying after a little while, Phoebe laughed with her at the threat of Chase being drowned by Chloe of all people. It was just so ridiculous. She smiled widely up at her older ‘sister’. “Just don’t get toooo drunk, Chloe-wowey.” She frowned slightly at the thought, “what if you fall and hit something?” Then the frown disappeared, replaced by a vibrant smile. “I’ll take care of you. Oh, and you know I don’t drink! It’s much more fun to watch everyone else act all silly.” She giggled, reliving memories of watching the others, including Chloe, drunk in the past. “I’m glad Chance can dance,” she playfully added, “then you won’t have to drown him for stepping on my toes.” She laughed softly again.

In the next instant, Chloe was making suggestions about her hair. Phoebe’s smile widened, if at all possible. “Yes!” she exclaimed, excited again, “that’s perfect! Absolutely perfect!” Phoebe adored curls; they were so beautiful. When she got out of the shower, her hair wet, it was always just weird and half curly, half straight. If she let it dry without brushing it, curls would appear, but if she even brushed it once, it would become straight. She didn’t quite understand the process of her hair, but she’d learned to live with it. It meant that her hair was straight on most occasions, however. Not that she minded, but she did so love her hair curly. Soft, red curls just looked so pretty.

Alex Reed

Alex laughed at Robbie’s threat as the feminine male waltzed over to him. “Uh oh, death by rainbows!” He feigned fright as he brought his hand up to his lips already forming an O, and gasped dramatically with a playful glint in his eyes. “Watch it, Robbie. I might pee my pants, and that would totally ruin the look you so carefully dictated.” He laughed again, relaxing. Okay, so their relationship was a little… weird. The fact that Alex just let certain things be handled by someone else entirely was highly unlike him, yet as with all things, it was different with Robbie. That guy had to be handled a specific way. Oh, he knew this comment would encourage the child of Iris to keep the bickering going, but he didn’t mind it. Actually, it was just fun. He was certain Robbie would chastise him about even contemplating the destruction of his outfit in any way. The thought made him chuckle slightly as Robbie inspected him, handling even the slightest mishaps. During this, the son of Apollo stood completely still, letting his personal fashion expert take care of his looks.

If he didn’t know Robbie crushed on both women and men alike, he could’ve sworn he was entirely gay. In fact, the only things he could think of that made Robbie’s more masculine parts peek, were if you insulted his pride… or hurt his baby sister, Phoebe. For some reason, Phoebe was the little titbit that could really spark the protective big brother in him, and thereby the masculinity that lurked. Maybe it was just that Phoebe was so fragile, she needed it, or maybe it was just the big brother thing in itself. If anyone could relate to that, it was Alex. Hell, he had several younger sisters, and they were all equally impossible to deal with at times. At least Phoebe didn’t think she didn’t need Robbie’s help. Alex’s sisters, however, all felt like they could handle themselves. He knew better, though. Not that he didn’t think his sisters were able to handle some situations, but sometimes they needed him, and even though they’d never admit it, he knew they recognized that he just wanted to keep them safe.

He truly wasn’t trying to strangle them with his over protectiveness, but things like Em leaving just brought him out of his comfort zone. He’d worried himself crazy, not knowing where she was, or whether she needed his help. At least in the confines of the Academy, Alex knew he could keep an eye on all of his sisters. Of course it helped that he had eyes and ears everywhere – gossip and news spread like wildfire around here. Like when he and Blitz had finally gone public with their relationship. Tell a couple of people, and suddenly the entire population knew, and then he’d had people complaining about he hadn’t come to tell them himself, feeling insulted that they’d had to hear from others. It had been hell the first couple of days, trying to explain to people that he simply hadn’t had the chance to get to them before the gossip did. But now, after a week, things had thankfully settled down and he could enjoy Blitz’s company without people coming up to ask about them every other minute.

Alex was jolted out of his thought about a special blonde, when Robbie spoke up again. He blinked a couple of times, seeing the guy bow as his words sunk in. “Yeah yeah,” he countered, waving off the insult pointed at him, paired with a complimented pointed at Robbie himself. Beautifully executed. He smiled wryly at the next words as Robbie straightened himself. “You wish,” he countered playfully. “Tell you what. I’ll give her kisses from me, and then you get to hug her at the ball.” He winked at his best friend before opening the door. He turned to Emily, flashing a smile. “Take good care of him. Don’t let him take another bath, and,” he paused, sending Robbie a pointed look with a glint of teasing in his eyes, “no kissing my sister either, Mr. Manwhore. That one is off limits.” With that, and a little chuckle, Alex grabbed the long-stemmed red rose he’d bought for blitz from the table and walked out the door, promptly shutting it behind him. As he made his way towards bailey’s room, his thought wandered to Robbie again. But this time, he focused on the guy’s fascination with certain types of women. Alex knew Robbie well enough to be quite aware when the guy had a little thing for someone, like Blitz. She was Robbie’s type to a certain extent, and Alex knew Robbie would never act on whatever he felt for the blonde, but he didn’t like it anyway.

It wasn’t jealousy, and not quite wariness either. Honestly Alex couldn’t quite decipher how he felt about Robbie liking Blitz in a way that you really shouldn’t like your best friend’s girl. He knew he wasn’t a fan of it – who would be? But he didn’t love Robbie any less because of it. He would probably be a jerk to anyone else who looked at Blitz with anything but friendship in their eyes, but again… for some reason, Robbie was different. Maybe it was because Alex knew his best friend would never make a move in the wrong direction. Besides that, Blitz didn’t reciprocate the feelings, so he had nothing to worry about. Bah, he didn’t know. He supposed it was just as well, though. With that conclusion, Alex reached Bailey’s door and rapped his knuckles against the wood blocking his entrance. “Blitz?” he called, hoping she was still there as he hid the rose behind his back. If they’d left, he’d just meet her at the ball, but he wanted to surprise her. It’d bring that beautiful smile out on her face. He just knew it. Personally, a smile already grazed his handsome features just at the prospect of seeing her. Did it make him a pathetic, lovesick puppy? Probably. But he honestly couldn't say he minded; he'd missed her.

Mr. Nathan Hensleigh

Nate couldn’t help chuckling at Lance’s reply. “Booze, huh? I knew something had to be your excuse.” He playfully shot back before smiling. His younger brother stood out among many of the other students; perhaps because he oftentimes didn’t try to mingle, too occupied with his girlfriend outside the safe confines of the Academy. He could tell something was wrong, but he didn’t want to pry, knowing that if Lance wanted to tell him anything, he would. Some people needed others to dig and poke to out any information, and though Nate knew Lance needed to out his worries, tonight simply wasn’t the night. Besides, Nathan still wasn’t sure how comfortable Lance felt talking to him about his private thoughts and feelings. Perhaps that was the main reason he’d decided to let Lance come to him, instead of the other way around. His younger brother wouldn’t react well to probing. He was a private fellow for the most part.

He noticed Juliette approaching Lance from behind, just as his brother began speaking again, hinting at Ness. Juliette saw him noticing her, and gestured for him to silent. As he wasn’t quite sure what she was up to, he decided to humour her for a little while yet, turned a wry smile Lance’s way and chuckled a little at his comment. “Tips?” he said thoughtfully, squinting his eyes in a mock gesture of suspicion, “what would you need any tips for, mister? To my knowledge, you have a girlfriend.” Then he merely shook his head and laughed. “Besides… it really isn’t all that fun. Belie-…” he stopped in his track, realizing Juliette’s intend too late. As she moved to cover Lance’s eyes, Nate only managed a resigned sigh before Lance was moving. If he’d known the girl would be silly enough to not even warn Lance a little, he would have stopped her before it got that far. Some people just didn’t take suprises well, and he knew Lance was one of them. Which meant that even before his brother had Jules pinned, Nate knew exactly what would evolve.

He registered Ness’ presence in the corner of his eye, moving at the same time as her. He almost growled in frustration when she fell. She gathered herself though, and Nate quickly turned to Jules and Lance, taking note of the situation. Lance had turned around and was now letting go of Jules. He couldn’t help smiling wryly at the girl, giving her a quick look-over to make sure nothing appeared damaged. Lance’s concern was evident on his face, but still, Nate had duties as a teacher. “Lance,” he said, voice stern, moving to gently intercept the two, continuing his words as he gently assessed damages on Jules’ arm and shoulder, “I’ll meet you outside the hall in a couple of minutes.” It was an obvious dismissal, telling the student to walk outside and stay there while Nate figured things out with Jules. He worried she’s sprained something from the incident and though he understood Lance’s actions, they were still unacceptable, even if he hadn’t intended to hurt Jules. He shut Lance out of his mind as he looked into Jules’ eyes, “can you move your arm?” He asked her, very gently holding her arm in his hands. Both his voice and eyes were laced with gentle concern and care.

He would look to Ness in a bit. Her fall hadn’t seemed bad and she had gotten herself to the chair. He had to push personal feeling aside and care for Juliette first. He doubted Ness’ damage was that bad, anyways, and he figured, worst case scenario, she’d limp around for the next couple of days. He knew her; Ness liked to run, and she’d hurt her ankle several times during. He didn’t hear any squeals of pain, and she didn’t call for him. If she had, he would’ve been there in the next second, although… if Jules’ damage was bad, he wasn’t entire sure what he’d do. He cared too much for both girls, and it was so damned confusing. He glanced at Ness anyway as he heard a gasp of pain from her direction, concerned fluttering through him. “You okay, Vanessa?” Man, did it feel weird to use her full name. He had to remind herself that her nicknames were off limits at all public times. Right now he was thoroughly irritated at being the only teacher in the room. Why hadn’t the others arrived yet?

Once again her mind was off somewhere else, it wasn't with the group of people she was with and it wasn't just focused on Alex either, it more loosely based on what he was doing at this moment and she knew that he'd be getting ready with his sister Emilee, she herself heard things around the camp that Emilee was back, being the child of Zeus you heard things mostly before others and the Aphrodite children always seemed to know, they had a gift for it really. Blitz wasn't close to Aphrodite children but she knew a few and some of them weren't bad people but she always got along better with others more than the Aphrodite children, honestly she was some what glad that Alex hadn't any of them as friends because knowing Blitz if they were female and had the slightest attraction to Alex she wouldn't trust the girl, she'd trust Alex but Aphrodite children sometimes had an odd way of seducing guys and vice versa with the male Aphrodite children. No but he would be with Robbie and Emilee. Emilee was his sister and that'd be weird if something was going on between them and as for Robbie well, last time she checked Alex didn't swing that way though and well Robbie was different and hard to explain for the most part but thankfully to Robbie, Blitz was able to meet Alex.

She hadn't even taken a drink for the toast that they did and she didn't even hear them speaking, she stayed silent off thinking about how Robbie would take forever in the bathroom and Alex would complain, being around them she knew all too well what they were like, not exactly but you could assume a little bit of it which brought a smile to the daughter Zeus. Her brother Bailey on the other hand seemed to like his alcohol before the party which was fine but he had a date to go with and it wasn't very fair to her if he already had the alcohol running through his veins but she had to be thankful he wasn't drunk yet. Then that's when she heard them talking about leaving. Leaving? The word didn't sound right and then she nodded.

Just as she was about to get up there was a knock at the door and came Alex's voice calling her name and her whole face lit up in and instant and she got up and straightened her dress and made sure her hair was fine and made sure everything was in order. Being a daughter of Zeus was hard, you had expectations and you had to look your best, even to answer the door, yes, just to answer the door. She then smoothed her dress down a bit and then went to the door and she put her hand on the knob and turned the handle and the door opened and she saw Alex, in a tux and honestly she really wasn't used to it and she was just so shocked how well he could pull it off, she looked over it to make sure it was straightened and in order, amazing. Saved her from work and a big smile flashed at him, he blew her mind away and she'd have to thank Robbie later because he probably helped Alex.

She was still staring at him and then she blinked and just smiled at him again, "You look amazing." She said and then walked out of the door frame a bit so the people inside the dorm room could get out instead of waiting and watching them. "You clean up real well, Alex." She said and was now waiting for him to say something.

(I will edit in Emilee later.)

Evie finally!
Everlie looked at herself, for what seemed to be the hundredth time, and inspected every little detail. It felt like there were thousands of butterflies in her stomach. Oh gods this was terrifying. Closing her eyes, the girl just stopped looking at herself and decided to take the night as it came, and, with those thoughts in her mind, exited her room. Each step felt like it took an eternity, when, at the moment, all she wanted to do was go and find Ezekiel.

Once she was outside, she closed her eyes for a moment as the wind hit her skin. She inhaled and let out a long, slow breath, mostly in attempt to calm her nerves. Making her way across the grounds, she was coming up on the lake when she heard a voice. A very particular voice. The voice of the very person she was so nervous about seeing. A smile crept its way to her lips as she walked up to him.

Here goes absolutely nothing.

Oh gods be good. Dont let her make an absolute fool of herself tonight.

"Hello Ezekiel."

Jules

Apparently not saying anything was a bad idea. "Holy shit!" She yelled. In a flash, Lance had her pinned, and her arm twisted. As he stood up, she looked up at him. Awww! He was so adorable when he was worried! "It's fine!" She tried to flex her arm. It hurt. "Wow, someone's been paying attention in Battle Strategy." She was being sarcastic on purpose. She wanted Lance to at least think that she was ok. She probably was anyways. Even though it felt like her arm was going to fall off. "I'm fine, Lance. It's ok. Next time though, play along, would you? Games are fun."

Before she could even register anything, Nate was there. He was beside her, kneeling down to see if she was ok. A warm feeling appeared deep in the pit of her stomach. It hadn't even taken him a second. Her first thought was, of course, damn he was fast. The next though, were about his eyes. Those impossibly deep, impossibly blue eyes that at the moment, held so much care. And for her! Shaking her head, she tripped on her words as she tried to reply. "M--Move? Oh yeah. Sure. Does it hurt?" She leaned in close, and whispered. "Like hell." Realizing she was probably a little too close for comfort, she backed her head away.

Hearing a loud thump, she looked up. "God Ness! What did those shoes ever do to you?" She knew her friend would know that she was actually concerned for her. This was just her way of showing it. "You alright?" Her eyes drifted back to Nate. He still had his hands on her arm, and...well, not that she was complaining. But...wow he had soft hands. Shit shit shit! Inappropriate thoughts! Inappropriate thoughts! Looking back up into his eyes, she just looked at him, wanting so much to just spill out everything that she wanted to say, but knowing that such an action would probably lead to self-inflicted humiliation.

Lukas Tricon

As he stood there holding the door open for his date to walk through, Lukas couldn't help as that bright smile flashed across his face once more; the smile that he had buried since the departure of his ex-girlfriend. Ava had replaced all good memories of Clover, with good memories of her, and his heart was now filled for care for the blonde, instead of despair for himself, and hatred for the red-headed daughter of Tyche that had held his heart, but cruelly thrown it on the floor and trod on it as she walked away from him. Then, her arms were around his neck once more, and her lips were against his. That familiar electric feeling fled through his body as he moved one of his arms to wrap around her waist, smiling against her lips.

Luke chuckled slightly as the beautiful girl in front of him wiped her lipstick off of his lips. "Yeah, I don't think my reputation could get any lower, but walking in with lipstick on might push it down a rung." He laughed, before he was then being dragged into the dance hall by an extremely happy Ava. The man nearly stumbled as he was pulled, and as soon as they stopped, he wrapped both of his arms around her, pulling her body closer to his. Luke dipped his head down so that his lips were next to his ear, and mimicked her previous words, "you've made me so happy, Ava, thank you." He kissed the soft skin underneath her ear, before straightening up once more. "Can I have this dance?"

Ness Tate

All Ness could do at this moment in time was to poke her tongue out at her similarly drunken best friend, because of the pain shooting through her ankle. After a few moment of hissing in pain as she circled her ankle, something she had learnt after numerous falls in the woods, she was able to call over to her friend. "Shush you. You better be okay." She got out of her mouth, before looking back down at her ankle again. It was already beginning to swell up, causing a contorted expression of pain and anger to fall over her face. The pain part of her feelings was obvious, but she was angry down to the fact that she had made herself look like a total idiot in front of everyone in the hall, which now included Ava and Lukas, and she also wouldn't be able to run for the next few days until it was healed. Thankfully, the pain was dulled by the amount of alcohol running through her veins right now, but even in her intoxicated state, she knew it was going to hurt more than it did now in the morning.

Suddenly, the Latina girl remembered the handsome teacher using her full name, calling over to her, asking if she was okay. Her head lifted back up again, examining the situation in front of her. Nate was extremely close to Jules, looking over her arm, her best friend inclining her head towards the male, whispering something in his ear. This made Ness frown a little, although she wasn't sure why. It was probably just because she didn't like the idea of anyone else being that close to Nate, even though she had agreed to it. The frown fell off of her face, and the jealousy disappeared from her stomach as she looked at him. A pout took over her lips once again as she called over to him, her head titled adorably to the side, like a hurt little puppy.

"Na--Mr Hensleigh.... I broke my shoe..."

Fen Adrien Wiley

"I'll be OK tonight, I will. I'll be OK tonight, I will," The young man closed his eyes and clenched his fists at his sides. "I'll be OK tonight, I will." For a moment, he thought of how amazing it was that he'd been at the Academy for nearly a year or so and yet there were so many people who didn't know him or didn't notice him. Was he that far in the shadows? When he saw troubled people, he would make his way over to them and try to help (albeit awkwardly). There were so many things that he could find sense in, and yet this was at the top of the list of the things he couldn't figure out along with the mystery that was Fen Wiley. "I'll be OK tonight, I will." Sure.. he was one of the sons of Poseidon. He was a demi-god. He was Fen. But who was Fen? And wasn't there more to him than any of those other things? "I'll be OK tonight, I will." No matter how many times he said these words to convince himself, he still felt all his nerves were on Nothing was helping. Fen hurried off into his bathroom and stared into the mirror, frantically looking over his face and then finally meeting his own blue eyes on the surface and.. nothing.

Slowly, he wrapped his arms around himself and formed a sort of protective cocoon. His fingers began to press lightly into his sides, slowly gaining more pressure until he was squeezing his torso tightly. Why was he doing this again? Letting his mind get the better of him and send him into a sort of thought frenzy. Quickly his fingers fumbled with the water faucet on the sink, and he ran his hands under the cool flow of water, closing his eyes. Fen shook a few drops from his skin before patting both of his cheeks and closing his eyes. "I'll be OK tonight. I. Will." The nights mantra replayed on his lips, each sentence becoming more silent until the last was barely a wisp of breath. By the time he reopened his eyes, not even knowing when he'd closed them, nearly another whole five minutes had passed. He couldn't keep doing this to himself. He came to the Academy to find hisself, to become strong, to be noticed and to be there. Why hadn't he found it yet. It'd been long enough he figured. A slow and shaky breath escaped his lips as he lowered his hands and looked over his attire. He grabbed the small pocket hanky hanging from his suit pocket and tossed it onto his bed before nodding at his reflection.

It was then that he began taking slow steps towards his bedroom door, his mantra repeating itself in his head. Fen remembered his plan then. If it all became too much he had a plan that would help calm his nerves (while getting him out of dancing with anyone). If anything happened that was straining, he’d sneak out of the gymnasium and make his jolly way towards the lake. Once there he would proceed and take off his suit to reveal the swim trunks he was wearing underneath it all. Then he’d jump off the dock and let the water soothe his nerves. The nerves that still hadn't calmed his stomach. Any moment from now he felt like he'd ralph all over his suit. Fen placed his hand on the doorknob and stared at his hand as it twitched slightly.

Five. "I could just change into my pajamas and relax here in my room.."

Four. "It's not like anyone would be looking for me at the dance. I mean Chloe may be a bit worried."

Three. "Or not notice at all.."

Two. "My hand hasn't moved, there's still a chance to take over control of my body again and curl up with a good book."

One. Fen threw the door open and jumped nearly two feet when it slammed back against his wall. A bright blush colored his cheeks as he glanced down both the north and south ends of the dorms hallway, glad that no one had seen or heard what'd happened. He took a step out of his room. It was now or never, do or die (not literally). It was only a dance. He quickly took another step, both feet side by side now. There was no chance he'd back down. He couldn't, he'd already left the room. Quickly he began shuffling down the hallway, fussing quietly over his slightly rumpled suit and smoothing his hair back from where it'd fallen into his eyes. And this time, he said with a bit more confidence than the last, "I'll be OK tonight.. I will."
