Kirlia, Riolu, Plusle and Minun
"Fine I'll fight whatever," Kirlia sighed. A small part of her relished a change to the usual boring routine but only a small part.
"There are still a few pokepeople we can gather to help us like Luxray, Kira, Crystal... Someone should round them up!" Riolu announced to the group assembled. Their group was small at the moment there was no way they could fight off an army in this state.
"I have a question!" said Minun loudly. "What's that." Everyone followed Minun's finger to see what he was pointing at...

Mismagius & Dusknoir
A large group of psychic pokepeople stood in a circle round Mismagius. Dusknoir stood back watching them with mild interest. The psychic pokemon chanted and hummed a great purple light surrounded Mismagius. She began to chant under her breath her aura lighting up like a bonfire. The few dozen psychic pokepeople round her helped to amplify her power. She unleashed a shadow ball that with the help of the psychic pokemon was teleported to Claris Town. It was far bigger than a normal shadow ball however and stretched from one end of town to the other.
Plusle and many others gasped in horror as what looked like a giant meterorite of darkness descended from the heavens. It was headed straight towards Claris Town and did not appear to be changing route in the slightest. A few seconds of horrified silence past before impact. As soon as the giant shadow ball collided with the town it exploded consuming all the houses in a bruise coloured inferno. Tremors shook the group that surrounded Xatu sedning most sprawling and those that remained standing were soon knocked over by seismic waves that issued from the explosion.
Mismagius grinned the explosion could be felt from where they were and they spotted the purple smoke coming over the horizon. All around her the psychic pokemon collapsed, killed instantly by the energy it took to perform the monumental task.
"Was that really necessary?" Dusknoir asked hardly concealing his boredom. Mismagius grinned panting slightly from the spell, "Oh yes! That was a special gift to my dear friend Xatu." Dusknoir stared at Mismagius before walking slowly away, "Crazy bitch."

Darkrai
Up in his tower Darkrai cackled with delight. He saw the whole thing. The psychic pokemon that died at Mismagius's hand just so she could blow up Claris Town. And he saw the horrified expressions of the few survivors.
"This is fun!" he grinned.

(OOC: Obviously the pokepeople who are controlled by you guys aren't dead but all the NPCs in Claris Town are. Bet you didn't see that coming did ya!)

Xatu was sent down onto the ground his robes fluttering from the shock wave. He stood up slowly and grabbed his head and screamed " Mismagmuis you fucking whore !!!" he shouted and picked up the pot of melted incese." Is everyone okay? " he said as he picked himself up. " We should be fine a large amount of power is needed for that kind of attack. " he looked at the sky the aura still swirling in the air. He looked out over to the town and saw a lack of activity. " No , no oh dear Arceus " he fell to his knees and put his head in his hands. " We might be the last left from Claris town " he said tears leaked out but he didn't sob just panted slightly but made sure to hide it from the others.

When the shadow ball hit instinct kicked in, take cover. Arcane quickly ducked and shielded his face. The whole ground shook as if one thousand earthquakes hit, he could feel the dark energy radiating from it. It was a smell he could never and would forget, this indeed had the smell of Darkrai all over it...literally. Once the rocking was over with he got up and looked at everyone, seeing if they were alright. "Is everyone alright?" He called out just to make sure. "Well then...I guess this means war eh?"

"Xatu...I don't think I got a chance to introduce myself, Nor do I think this is the correct moment so I will not introduce myself but..." Arcane leaned in on Xatu and whispered into his ear. "I didn't want to say this in front of the little ones but...I think we are the only survivors, perhaps the Pokegods are shining on us..." He backed away from Xatu and looked at the destroyed houses. "Well I shall go fetch some supplies from the obliterated Pokemart and nearly flattened Pokemart! Ta Ta!" Arcane walked through the rest of the group and had a grin on his face as he could literally smell the groups fear as a whole.

He made his way to the Pokemart, as he made his way there he took in everything, the houses the grass hell, even the roads, everything smelled and looked like his old mansion. He made it to the Pokemart and put his hand on the knob, not only the knob but the whole wooden door fell in on the ground creating a large thump that would spook anyone. The windows were shattered and the roof looked like it was about to cave in. Instinct told him to flip the switch on to see if there was any electricity, he flipped the switch on to the right of him, nothing he flipped it back off to avoid being electrocuted. He spit out a fire ball in his hand and used it as a torch. He walked through the store, tripping over multiple boxes of what were usable ingridents. He made his way to a shelf that actually looked almost untouched. There were repel canisters all over the flood busted open, he didn't realize it until it was too late. The whole pokemart exploded sending Arcane flying out the Pokemart. He landed on the pavement and tried to realize what happened. He got up and brushed himself off. The heat from the explosion didn't injure him but he was more or less just shocked at what happened. "Agh shit...well there was to be something still salvageable in there..." He hurried back into the mart, there were embers all on the floor, he quickly stomped them out and made his way over to the counter. He hopped over the counter and kicked the door to the back room in. He saw more Max Repel Bottles and grabbed atleast five canisters. He picked up some rope. He tied the rope around his waist and tied the canisters to the rope. He turned around and saw a refrigerator. He ran over to it and tried to open the door to it. Of course, against all odds...it was locked. Arcane didn't have time to find a half melted key anyway, he resorted to punching the glass door and taking all the potions he could. "Damnit...they are starting to get warm, I better get back to the group and hope someone knows some ice or water moves..." He tied the variety of potions around his waist and headed out the Pokemart and back to the group. "XATUUU I GOT US SOME UH...Max Repels, Ropes, and some potions."

((I realize Max Repels may as well be useless but I actually have an idea for them. Also sorry for the block post, I usually make my entrance posts huge, sort of like a habit. Oh and why is he immune to fire? Well I don't know if we are doing the abilities and what not but some Arcanine are immune to fire via the ability Flash Fire I think? I'm far too lazy to pull out my Pokemon game right now... ))

Goldeen listened well as Xatu explained the situation. She nodded in agreement with the others. “I shall also do all that I can to help Claris town.” She said calmly and elegantly.

Goldeen was knocked to the ground by the explosion that was the destruction of Claris town. Her legs in shock actually reverted back into their mermaid tail form. She sat up and placed her hands on her lap. Looking out at the destruction she gasped. “Oh my!! What a horrible happening!!” Goldeen looked over to Kirlia.

“Are you alright Kirlia?” She then turned to the others, “Is everyone unharmed?” Goldeen was in an extreme state of worry. Goldeen was startled even more with Xatu’s next actions.

Xatu stood up slowly and grabbed his head and screamed " Mismagmuis you fucking whore !!! No, no oh dear Arceus " he fell to his knees and put his head in his hands. " We might be the last left from Claris town ", he said tears leaked out but he didn't sob just panted slightly.

Goldeen had never seen Mr. Xatu like this. He was usually so composed. This tragedy was enough to bring anyone to a state of utter insanity. She wondered who Mismagmuis was. She had never heard of that person before. She had definitely not been a patron of her shop. Then with the thought of her shop she realized that her shop and home could have been caught up in the meteor of dark energy’s destruction.

“Oh no!! I must see if my home is alright!” Goldeen said as she floated at full speed out of the door. She looked as if she were swimming in the air as her mermaid tail billowed behind her. Goldeen lived just outside of town by the lake. As she reached her home she saw that it was still standing and unharmed. She descended to the ground and let out a sigh of relief.

"I was fortunate, but most others were not... I shall return to Mr. Xatu's and do all that I can to help them. Perhaps I'll start by bringing supplies, everyone could use anything we can muster up." Goldeen said to herself. She went in and gathered as many supplies as she could carry.

Abner was forced back by the sheer force of the explosion. When he got up, he saw the entire town destroyed. "Son of a... Was that massive portion of the forest not good enough for them?" He punched the nearest tree he could find, shattering the lower portion to the point where it fell right next to him. Nobody was in the way of it, thankfully. He next noticed Goldeen floated to her home. "Hey, wait! You don't know what's out there!" He sprinted after her as fast as he could until he reached her home. "You shouldn't be here alone!" He stood right next to Goldeen, ready to walk beside her in case someone were to attack.

The explosion made Peony shield the young twins with her wings and a well placed Protect. When the smoke cleared, both her and Giglio spread their wings and took flight. Azucena watched over the twins for his sister and only watched as they flew off. "Be safe you two..."

"I'll go south, you go north!" Giglio told his sister and they split up there. Peony corkscrewed and got down close to the carnage. She saw all the bodies and shook her head. Who would do this is an innocent town? Her face set into a scowl and she gripped her fists, blood almost being drawn again.

"Madness..." she muttered, her wings keeping a steady pace as she flew. She managed to find Luxray and land near him. "You okay? That huge Shadow Ball came outta no where..." she murmured, the bells on her wings moving in a nervous state. She was still shaking from the blast and the bodies but she hid it pretty well.

Goldeen turned around as she heard abner’s voice loud but in the distance, "Hey, wait! You don't know what's out there!" Abner sprinted after her as fast as he could until he reached her home. "You shouldn't be here alone!" He stood right next to Goldeen.

Goldeen gave Abner a smile and a bow. “I’m sorry to have worried you Abner. I guess I just couldn’t stop myself from rushing home out of worry.” Her expression became a bit more reflective. “I would like to bring as many supplies back to Mr. Xatu’s as I can. Would you mind helping me carry things as well?” She was honestly glad to see him. He was a nice Pokeperson and had a big heart. That was always comforting for her to have around.

Abner nodded. "This backpack of mine can handle more than half my weight." He grabbed some items from the shelves, including food and medical equipment he did not normally carry, placing it in his pack. He put it back on him but kept it open. "There is still room, if you want to put anything in it. It's more than strong enough."

Lily stood in the large vast plantation surrounded by beautifully fragrant blooms and plump vegies. She smiled as the hired help set up the outside table and chairs for her garden party. It was a perfect day to have the ladies of the garden over for tea and crumpets. “I better go set up the cakes I made!! I’m so proud of them!! The girls will absolutely LOVE THEM!” Lily squealed in glee and anticipation. She grabbed her dress and sprinted of into the large mansion.

Later when the ladies arrived, they all sat in the garden politely sipping tea, and eating cakes while gossiping about the most recent happenings. They giggled and gasped superficially with each other. “Did you see her entry for the garden showing? That plant is nowhere near as vibrant as it could be!” Lily stated as she placed her hand to her cheek in a dainty fashion.

Suddenly as large dark meteor appeared over the horizon. The sky seemed to turn virtually dark. Lily stood up slowly as she watched the meteor descend of into the distance. The other ladies gasped and remained sitting in awe. Liligant stepped closer and there was soon an explosion and a large flash where the meteor landed. The impact knocked the ladies backward, however Lily’s “Own Tempo” allowed her to spin gracefully and maintain balance while the other ladies simply fell to the floor.

“Wasn’t that around where Claris town is? Did it just explode?” Vileplumett asked in shock.

“Well I’d say that would be the most exciting thing to have happened to that little backwater place in years!!” Weepinbella scoffed in laughter.

“How dare you say such a thing!? You ought to be down-right ashamed of yourself Weepinbella! That town is filled with lovely people and if what we just saw fell there, those poor people as in a world of trouble! Far be it from lil’old me to turn my nose up to those lovely people who are also patrons of our plantation!” Lily fussed at Weepinbella. She turned to her hired help and spoke, “Now, please go and fetch as many food provisions as you possibly can and bring them to Claris town at once. Those poor people will need strength and full tummies. Momma always said that a man with a full belly is a healthy and hardy one! Also, I shall go on ahead of you to Claris Town and see what lil’ole me can do for them. Girls, Good day and Goodbye now!” Liligant said as she promptly spun around, grabbed her parasol and rushed toward Claris.

As she reached Claris town it was in Ruin. There were not many left alive. Liligant was horrified. She slowly walked through and although she was afraid she stopped by each body that lay on the ground to check if they were still alive and needed help. Sadly many people were dead. She felt really sad for them and began to cry a bit. Then she saw Acarnine dash out of the pokemart toward the mountains.

“Wait! Please wait for me!” Lily ran as fast as she could but he was much too fast for her. “Perhaps if I follow that general direction I’ll find out where he went to.” Lily huffed and puffed as she tried to catch her breath.

“Oh wonderful! I have plenty to be used.”Goldeen exclaimed. The two headed back to the others. “Thank you Abner for all of your help. You saved me from struggling to carry all of this.” Goldeen said to Abner as the two proceeded up the mountain. “I hope things aren’t too heavy to carry.”

She and Abner arrived not long after Arcanine returned. There were a few others missing. Goldeen supposed that she wasn’t the only person to run off to inspect of check up on things. “We brought things that may be of help. Whatever shall we do from this point forward?” Goldeen asked Xatu. She was still worried about his state of mind. He was very upset and disheartened earlier. She had hoped things would have improved even slightly by this point.

"You kidding, Goldeen?" Primeape exclaimed with a laugh. "The weight being carried now is similar to what I would carry during training! I literally sprint with this much on my back!"

Back at Xatu's house, a few people were missing, but he figured they'd come back soon. He did not say a word, but waited for whatever dark moves training may await him before the fireworks started. Anything that would help the group would be appreciated.

Plusle & Minun, Riolu and Kirlia
The twins hugged Peeo tightly as an enormous dust cloud headed towards them sending everyone sprawling. Peo's protect managed to leave them unscathed however. As soon as the air cleared the devestation was evident. What was once their home now amounted to little more than rubble. Riolu glared at the ruins, his heart beating fast yet he did not move one inch. He was in a state of shock. The catastrophy was so sudden and had come out of nowhere. Only hours before it had been a normal day consisting of training and rollerblading. The disaster helped to broaden Riolu's perspective. In that moment he realised how lucky he was, in that moment he knew that his life up until now had been a waste of time. He had been too busy plotting Swalot's downfall rather than protecting the ones closest to him. And now for all he knew all that was left of his family now lay dead. With that thought Riolu took off running towards the dojo.
Kirlia was similarly distressed remembering her mother at the counter this morning. There would be nothing left of the place after the meteorite. She quickly teleported to the pokemart only to find it empty. Completely destroyed but empty nontheless, this gave her hope. She teleported to her house ignoring the pain she felt from over stretching her powers. Inside she was greeted with a terrible sight. Her father, mother and brother all lay dead. Broken pieces of wood and plaster scattered all about. There was no way they could have survived. A shadow ball is a ghost type move which psychic types are weak against and one that big would instantly destroyed any nearby psychics. Kirlia knelt down and began to bawl.
Riolu after discovering his own dead uncles soon came across Kirlia cradling the body of her baby brother Ralts in her arms.
"I'm so sorry," he said. And he meant it, as much as he disliked Kirlia he'd have to be rotten to the core not to pity her.
Kirlia said nothing tears still dripping from her chin.
"We should go. The army is still coming this way. There's still a chance we can pull through," said Rolu gently. Kirlia looked up at him her eyes blazing, "PULL THROUGH! You moron, how can we pull through something like this! They're dead everybodies is dead and you just want us to pull through. What the fuck is wrong with you? You heartless bastard." Riolu flinched. He realised that it would take some time for Kirlia to adjust, it had taken him months to get over the death of his parents and still today he held the scars upon his heart. Riolu sighed, "I'm sorry, I really am." He hefted a piece of nearby timber and swung it directly into the side of Kirlia's head. She crumpled immediatly to the floor. Riolu quickly gathered her unconcious body and carried her back to Xatu and the others.
"I think we should go. Leave this place. There's no way a rag tag bunch like us can fight off an army. The only choice we have is escape. I don't like to admit it but what other choice do we have?" said Riolu to the group assembled.
Plusle and Minun were both on the ground hugging and crying. Their cousin Pacharisu was surely dead and their home destroyed not to mention many of their friends.
"We're scared," they said in unison.

"I'm sick of running! That's what I did when I came to this town, knowing it would be my only refuge!" Abner was enraged to no end at what happened. "Those bastards ruined my forest home by destroying part of it and spreading chaos, then this happens! IS there no end to the catastrophe!"

Xatu stood up slowly as Arcanine walked back. He realized he was probably the closest thing the group had to a leader. He calmed himself and looked through the bag the fire-type brought back. "Good this should last us for a bit. " he said drying his tears as he looked out at the setting sun as the darkness set in.He then turned to Goldeen and Primeape and examined their supplies. " Good very good you two." he said as he felt the fear in the twins. " Yes we don't stand much of a chance but we have little chance. I believe we should decide as a group. I do know of a small training center that was abandoned a few years ago. It will be better protected and have a place to sleep but we may have to fight harder but we'll have a better way to train. " he looked out at the group with his calm expression returned. "Hands up for running and down for staying I won't vote of course though now go ahead make up your minds." he said as he looked up at the full moon saddened.

Riolu reluctantly raised his hand. Plusle and Minun as one raised their hands. Kirlia probably wouldn't of raised her hand but there's no way of knowing as she was unconcious and slung over one of Riolu's shoulders.

Primeape reluctantly raised his hand, sighing in annoyance. "Fine..."

Azucena raised his hand and nodded. "Peony and Giglio would also agree... I think they went to pick up stragglers and survivors..."

Goldeen

Goldeen raised her hand as well. She felt that this decision was most wise. They had very little if anything left in Claris town. "We must carry on and hopefully no other tragedies will arise that equal this one." Goldeen said solemnly,

Liligant

Liligant Rushed up the mountain. She held up her dress as she climbed the steep terrain. “Gracious! This is a bit much for a lady to do all on her little ole own! I sure do hope that gentleman actually went up here or else I would be walking my legs of for no reason…” Lily huffed as she walked on. She eventually reached the mountain sumit and sound the group just inside of Xatu’s adobe styled home.

“Pardon little ole me, but you ladies and gentlemen would happen to be in need of emergency assistance now would you? Claris town down there seems to be in a bit of a ruin and I came with lots of emergency provisions for those in need. Oh heavens, where ARE my manners!? My little ole mother would be ashamed of me! My name is Lilith Liligant Hanabiru, but you all can just call me Lily! It’s a pleasure to meet you all!” Lily spoke in the most friendly of manners. She was overjoyed to see that someone survived the horrible happening.

Primeape spoke first. "Abner, and this isn't the best time for small chatter. We are voting on whether to leave or stay. An army is coming, and we to decide, now."

Arcane smiled at Lily and bowed. "Ah, finally someone that looks like they are royalty. Let me introduce myself, I am Arcane, the great amazing Third Arcanine of the Legendary N†NE ⌂. You probably heard of us one way or another. Excuse my friends, they are...lets just say not as great as you and I."

Primeape spoke first. "Abner, and this isn't the best time for small chatter. We are voting on whether to leave or stay. An army is coming, and we to decide, now."

After listening to Abner’s response Lily frowned a and narrowed her eyes in on Abner . “Now come again… Now I walked all the way over to Claris, got frightened by dead bodies, struggle bugged up that big steep hill and now he doesn’t even wanna give me the time of his miserable day?” she thought to herself.

Lily’s train of thought was interrupted when Arcane introduced himself. He was indeed the gentleman she followed up the mountain. Her frown converted to a smile. “Why you are the dashing gentlemen that I followed up here! Me? Royalty? Awe heavens, I’m just a little ole plantation heiress!” Lily exclaimed as she blushed and clasped both hands in front of her. And I have indeed heard of the Legendary N†NE ⌂. My father reads up on you all often! Who in Renovia would have thought I’d have the honor of meeting one such as you!?” Lily giggled profusely.

Goldeen floated forward slightly, “Why hello there Miss Lily. I am Goldeen. It’s a pleasure to meet you. You mentioned emergency provisions just now. That would be a great help to us.”

Lily looked over to Goldeen and gave a curtsey. “Why yes indeed, I am here to help. I need to call my butler and tell him where I am. I am have loads of food sent here as we chit chat! Claris town is practically my neighbor and I always like to extend the olive branch whenever I can.” Lily smiled at Goldeen and then the others. “Now this young man here says that there is some army of sorts on the way here, is this true? I hope they are here to help. Claris needs all the clean-up help available since this natural disaster struck the poor little town!” Lily was under the impression that Claris had been the victim of a natural disaster, not an attack.

“Yes there is an army approaching. However it was this army’s forces that caused the meteor of dark energy to fall on Claris town. This was no natural disaster I’m afraid. The army that is approaching is aggressive according to our sources and we must flee soon. Would you care to join us?”

“Oh my dear! This is down-right terrible!!” Lily said with both of her palms against her face.

Just then Lily received a call on her Pokegear. “If you’ll excuse me for a brief moment.” Liliy smiled and turned around as she answered her pokegear.

“Why hello Papa!” lily said in a cheery manner.

“Lilith Liligant Hanabiru, What on beanstalks are you thinking?! The butler told me that you ran off to Claris town after that explosion! I want you to come home immediately. “ her father yelled.

“But papa innocent people were killed and I want to help! This could happen to us too! Somebody’s got to do something!” Lily advocated.

“Well Lilith that somebody won’t be us. That is unfortunate but we have nothing to do with that ruckus. So come right home and I’ll have your favorite dish made and you’ll forget all about that atrocity.”

“Papa I’m not coming home until this is made right! You’re selfish and somebody’s got to represent our family in this so I volunteer. Love you be safe!!”

“LILY…..!!!!! DON’T YOU,” CLICK, Lily abruptly closed her pokegear and turned around.

“So Miss Goldeen, Everyone, Count Little ole me IN!” Lily said and held up a peace sign, a tiny pink heart formulated in the air by her head.

Xatu counted up the hands in the air and nodded. " Very well I'm guessing we are all leaving then very well. " he walked off the pedestal and walked over to Goldeen and Lily. " Ms. Hanabiru thank you for joining into our fight against the menace. " he scowled under his breath and walked to his house and retrieved a small key. " Eveyone please step away a bit. " he said as he walked to the cave nearby and started to chant. The golden key floated then vaporized leaving behind a bluish purple swirling wall in the entrance. Xatu walked through and saw the old academy where he trained as a Natu. He smiled a bit the happy memory of school times cushioning the massive murder which had just taken place. He stepped around the sandstone temple admiring the paintings and columns which stood the test of time. He walked back through the portal and snapped his fingers. " Everyone this is the portal to where we will be staying for now it will stay open for six hours after that it cannot be opened for another twenty four. Now if you have any business to attend to please hurry and do it quickly. Mr. Azucena could you please help your siblings gather the survivors and meet back here I truly don't want anyone left behind. I'll keep an eye on Plusle and Minun so please hurry. " he said as he looked at the moon. It slowly going towards the center of the sky.

"Sorry for my rudeness, earlier, Lily!" Abner sighed. "I guess all that time training with little time spent on other things made me rough around the edges. I haven't exactly been the same since I fled to Claris after Darkrai invaded the forest." He turned his attention to Xatu after his apology. "You said you know some dark moves? Are there any you think would come in handy for me, against ghosts?"

Magneton woke up. She found herself on the streets of Claris, well, what was once Claris. She kicked some glass off her legs and got up. She felt a buzzing at the back of her head. She realized she lost her suitcase. She looked around at what was once Claris with a horrified expression. At first, she couldn't tell were she was, but soon she recognized the set up. Damnit, all she could remember is she was about to get some coffee, and then she got hit in the face by some flying rock-type dude. She looked to her right. Well, the coffee shop was pretty much busted. It wasn't very busy anyway. She could really use a coffee and an ice pack right now. "Well Maggie," she said to herself, "This is what happens when you're late for work..."

Plusle & Minun
The twins huddled alongside Xatu. They were extremely shaken after all that had happened. They both were a bit nervous about going through the portal.

Riolu and Kirlia
Riolu strode up to Xatu and laid Kirlia on the floor at his feet.
"I had to knock her out or else there was no way she'd leave her home. Look after her for me I have to go and pick up some things from the dojo." Riolu strapped on his roller blades and was off arriving at the ruined dojo a few minutes later.
He saw the pile of rocks that marked the graves of his dead uncles. He hadn't had time earlier to dig them a proper grave but he hoped that one day he would have time to give them a proper burial. Most things within the dojo lay in tatters, completely useless. However, he found the safe which was where the most useful items woud be stored. He quickly unlocked the safe and peeped inside.
A blackbelt, bright powder, focus band, shell bell, smoke ball all sat in the safe gleaming up at him. Riolu gathered up the items and stuffed them into a bag. He grabbed a box of unscathed poffins from a beat up cupboard before heading back to Xatu.
Once there he dumped the items out in front of Xatu.
"I have a few bits and bobs here," said Riolu as he tightened the focus band around his forehead. "I don't know how useful they'll be. The black belt boosts fighting type moves, the bright powder can blind an enemy when thrown, the shell bell restores health and the smoke ball creates a big cloud of smoke which can be used to distract enemies while you make your get away."
