Introduction
The Pups:
Four Teens Attacked by Rabid Dog in One Night
That's what the headline reads. Your picture is one of four covering the front page of the Hawksville Chronicle.
There's one problem: What you were attacked by was no 'rabid dog'.
It was a rogue werewolf.
You know this because another one of its kind visited you in the hospital to explain everything, to tell you why all that was left of the attack were a few shiny pink scars only a few hours after the fact. He showed you the change, and told you that you were a danger to everyone you loved until you got your 'inner creature' under control. He said that if you didn't join his pack before the next full moon, which was less than a week away, you'd probably end up hurting someone.
At first, you thought it was just a dream, until you found a letter on your bedside table the next day with directions to a house only fifteen minutes out of Hawksville, deep into the woods, a house key, and a short note written on the inside of the envelope.
The full moon is six days away. Be at the house in three.
Tell no one.
Looks like it's time to see the world through a whole new set of eyes, pup.
The Rogue
They were supposed to be yours, all four of them. You were going to make them a part of your own pack, exert your will on them. They were supposed to be your slaves, your family.
But Dan took them. He took them away from you because he thinks he's better. You were tired after attacking them, and he took advantage of that to twist their minds against you.
You're still alone, still a pathetic little shadow.
The only thing that comforts you is that you only have to wait a month before you can try again, try to change more. While you're waiting, you can maybe try to steal the pups out of his grasp. You've been stalking the four of them for a long time. You know their weaknesses almost better than you know about the Hawksville pack leader's, the one that created you.
It's time to finish the hunt, the revenge.
The Pack
You're not sure what Dan was thinking when he invited those four pups to stay in the house, even though there wasn't really any other choice. You know all about the Rogue, the one you don't dare mention in front of your leader. She's a danger to the pack, the family.
She must die.

Hope took a few deep breaths, resting her forehead on the steering wheel of her pale blue Ford Taurus. All she had to do was get out of her car and walk up to the front door of the huge log-cabin-like house that housed the Hawksville Werewolf Pack. She'd been preparing three days for this, with the help of her father, boyfriend and her friends, who just believed that the attack had given her some kind of crisis, and that she'd be back by the New Year. She'd been psyching herself up ever since she left her house after her 'temporary good-bye party' twelve hours ago, when everyone had been sleeping.
"You can do this, Hope," She murmured softly. It wasn't like she could just turn back anyway. She needed to learn how to control the creature she felt growing inside of her, or she was going to hurt someone.
Like her father. Or Matt. Or Tabby, Jen or Anika. Maybe even one of her students.
With that thought providing her motivation, Hope grabbed her backpack, choosing to leave her four other luggage items in her car as she walked very slowly up the front steps of the porch. Her keys jingled in the pocket of her boyfriend's blue zip-up hoodie, which she was wearing over the white tanktop she'd fallen asleep in, along with a pair of grey plaid pajama pants. The yellowed toe of her black hi-tops peeped out at her as she stopped directly in front of the door, unable too moved an inch further.
***
Dan watched to first bitten to arrive, Hope, with interest. He needed to figure out why Evangeline -he never dared to even think of her as Eva anymore- had chosen the four teens that he'd invited into his pack, as well as how he was going to have to deal with each one as they made the transition into pack life.

“Hello,” she said as she simultaneously opened the door, seeing a lean girl with fierce red hair on the other side, standing there like a statue. “You must be here because of Dan, correct? He’s inside waiting for you…” After doing her casual, though polite, “welcoming,” Broden walked past the girl, assured she could find her way into the house without getting lost. “You shouldn’t stay out here too long (referring to the front porch),” she called back, adding one last thing as she jotted down the steps and plopped her skateboard onto the concrete, “it’s probably not safe.” She tucked a strand of long platinum hair behind an ear and then scooted off, down the part of the road that was paved, waiting for something to happen and for the rest to arrive.

As he reached the house he took note of the blonde girl skateboarding out front with a watchful eye. He waved at her slightly, just so she knew he wasn't trying to sneak up on her. It was probably a good idea. She seemed like she was on red alert and Jagger didn't feel like being assaulted at this moment.
He walked up the porch steps and stopped in front of the door. He rung the doorbell once and waited. He was vaguely interested as to what it would be like inside. What it would be like living with werewolves. He wondered if the fair-haired girl out front was a werewolf. She probably was he decided. Based on her watchful nature.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Evangaline knew it wasn't a good idea to get too close to the house. With the pups arriving, the pack would be on high alert. They'd probably catch wind of her scent with ease if she got too close. And she didn't need that right now. She needed to stay hidden for a while, de-rail Daniel and his pack, make them edgy. Then she'd swoop in and take the pups for herself, through a series of mind games and lies. If all went well, she could have her puppies back in a few weeks time.
She lay in a patch of brambles on the side of a quiet road, miles away from the pack land. This was the only road that led to the cabin, all the pups had to come this way. Which is why she had choosen this spot. She wanted to keep watch for them.
Hope was the first to drive by. Evangaline only got to see her for a moment but it was worth it. Hope . . . She was going to be Evangaline's new best friend, her sister, her daughter. She would style Hope's pretty hair every day and have all sorts of inside jokes with her. Hope would be her best friend, the best friend she hadn't had when she was thirteen.
Next was Jagger. He walked by on foot and she felt tempted to just jump out and grab him. Sink her claws into his shoulders and drag him down into the bushes . . . just like she had when she bit him. But she couldn't do that . . . She wasn't strong enough to take him on if he managed to change and try and fight her. She had to wait to get her strength back.
But still, she felt tempted. Jagger was going to be her baby, her lover. Anything she wanted him to be. She would coddle him and baby him endlessly. He would be happy. He would love her.
She exhaled mournfully as she waited for the other bitten to arrive. Mitzi and Riley. Both of which would be whomever she wished for them to be.

He got out of the car and noticed a blonde girl around his age on a skateboard. He considered playing a little game with her - a little hot and cold game. He played it all the time. To see how different girls reacted to it. He would flirt with them and then he'd ignore them. He'd kiss them and then snap at them. Sometimes they got angry, sometimes they got upset, sometimes it just made them want him more. It wasn't that he liked hurting people - he did it for science. He thought about playing the hot-cold game with her but changed his mind. He didn't have time for games here.
So when he passed her, he didn't even look her way. It was better not to tempt himself to analyze her. He noticed a blonde kid standing on the porch with a bag over his shoulder. From the set of his shoulders, he looked oddly relaxed. Riley shook his head to clear it. He had to stop analyzing people while he was here. He had to focus on getting out of here. "Hey" he said to the kid who seemed to be waiting by the door "I'm Riley." He was doing his best not to get roped in. He knew it could happen so easily. He'd meet someone here - anyone - and they'd be totally messed up in the head. And he'd become addicted - addicted to discovering and solving their problems. The solution to this problem was simple. He just had to avoid talking to anyone here too much, or analyzing them too much. He also had to keep himself from playing his sick little games. They were addictive; if he started one he'd have to finish it.

Was her mother one of them?
Hope smiled when the girl spoke, and even opened her mouth to speak, but the other girl was already gone, leaving her words hanging in the crisp, almost winter air.
"It's probably not safe,"
Hope smile fell, and she quickly slipped inside. There was a small mudroom area right inside the door, and Hope noted that some shoes were simply thrown into a pile in the corner, while others were arranged neatly. The coat racks lining the wall on either side of her were pretty much filled, and the small room stepped up into what looked like a living area, with plush looking leather furniture and a fireplace.
Hope had barely pulled off her shoes and found an out-of-the-way spot for them when the doorbell rang from behind her. She jumped, and turned around, opening the door and peeking out.
"I think you can just come in," Hope told the two boys waiting outside, opening the doorway wider. "That's what I was told to do, at least," She strained to remember their names from the news article, and after a moment they came to her. "Riley and Jagger, right?" She asked, stepping aside so they could come in.
***
Dan sighed, walking away from the window in his office. Three of the four bitten had arrived, and only one was left before he'd have to go out and get everyone situated. He was sure that Evangeline was nearby, watching and waiting for her moment to strike.

The door was open so Lilli simply walked out of her bringing the door behind her so she could lock it. Once it was locked she simply looked around and headed for the stairs that weren’t that far from her room. She placed her right hand on the railing lightly and let it glide across the smooth wood as she walked gently down the stairs. Her movements were calm and light as if she was walking on air. As she walked down more she started to see the different people. “Hmm where is Dan?” She silently whispered to herself.

“Well,” Mark mumbled to himself, as he got up and straightened his white button-up shirt and sat his book down on the seat beside him, “might as well go see what’s happening.”
He walked out of the study and towards the foyer where he heard the mumbling of voices. When he came closer, still standing slightly in the hallway, he noticed Lilli descending the stairs as well. She must have been curious also and, even though she looked like the definition of elegance and grace, he knew exactly what she was doing. She was sizing up her competition; the competition for Dan’s attention. Or maybe, he was just over thinking things.

“Hey Mark” she quietly said. She had practiced, and now she mastered the art, of making her voice carry and sound like a whisper in the wind. Her voice had traveled right to his ear so only he could hear, it was a trick that was difficult to learn.
Lilli slowly started to come to the end of the stairs, she hesitated for a second for Mark to answer her.

He waved a hand back at her slowly, still grinning.
He turned his attention back to the front door and cleared his voice, addressing the guests, “Dan should be with you all shortly, I believe he is waiting for the last one to arrive. Just so I don’t seem like the creepy guy standing in the doorway, watching you silently, my name is Mark.” He gestured a hand to the petite blonde girl, now finally at the bottom of the stairwell, “and this is Lilli.”

Thanks to his observant nature, Riley noticed some sort of communication going on between the older guy and the blonde girl. Riley saw her lips move and saw him smile. Maybe the guy could read lips, Riley speculated.
His gaze slid over to the blonde boy when he spoke. Riley was immediatly interested. The boy spoke in a monotone; not interested but not exactly uninterested either. It was strange. Riley couldn't help but be intrigued. He mentally slapped himself. No, he had to focus. He couldn't get into psychiatrist mode here. He had to focus.

Her gaze was quickly distracted by the appearance of two other people in the room. She felt a bit like some caged animal on display, though thfeeling was eased when the dark-haired twenty-something -Mark, she learned- spoke.
Hope smiled at Mark politely, "Nice to meet you," She said automatically. Her grandmother had trained her to be a proper lady, and said that no grandchild of hers -though she only had one- was going to be some ignorant redneck brat, especially not if she was paying for that child to take dance lessons. She glanced at the blond girl with slight interest, still astounded by how young-looking she was.

The car came to a stop, slowly churning up the gravel underneath it. Clary cut the ignition and put her hands back on the wheel. They remained there for a while, as she stared up at the house, her breathing deep and anticipating. Everything that had happened so far came like a whirlwind, but she hadn’t really slowed down to think about it, not until now. That was her, always rushing into things. She wanted to get it all over with.
She had told her mother that she was going to stay with her dad for a while, something that had happened every once in a blue moon for Clary. Her mother certainly wasn’t on good terms with her ex-husband, so Clary was sure she wouldn’t be giving him any calls anytime soon. And not that she cared whether Clary, a new driver on the roads, arrived safely or not. She’d only worry once that call came in from the police station, maybe. But then it would be too late. With a heavy sigh, she pressed her forehead to the steering wheel. Her long brown hair fell over her face like a hood.
“This completely sucks,” she muttered under her breath, as if she was too tired to say it with anger. She peeked up over the dashboard again, out at the house through her front window.
After a few slow moments, she found herself approaching the house, slowly and apprehensively. She had a single red duffle bag thrown over her shoulder, the rest of her stuff was in the car and she didn’t feel like getting it out, and her hands shoved in the pockets of her dark skinny jeans. Her loose fitting, crème-colored, quarter length-sleeved, sweater… shirt, swayed lightly with her as she walked, curious eyes scanning her surroundings. She noticed that the front door was slightly open; through it she could hear voice and see the shapes of other people gathered. She paused momentarily, wary, but ascended the steps, which creaked underneath her shoes. She slipped in quietly through the door, clicking it quietly closed behind her. The back of everyone else’s heads was all she could see, they were all listening to the young man and woman in front of them. They were probably some occupants of the house, Clary figured. She had a few things she wanted to discuss with them as well.

Mark could barely see the new arrival slip through the door, quietly standing behind the others like a shadow. He sighed heavily. “Well I guess that’s the last of them,” he said quietly.
“I’ll go inform Dan that you’re all ready to meet him,” he said to the group. “Just wait patiently here while I’m gone.”
He looked at Lilli, a calm smile on his face. “If you wouldn’t mind,” he told her, “can you stay here and watch after them for a moment?” Though he knew she would mind, but probably wouldn’t say anything about it.
He then turned and headed back through the archway, past the kitchen and down a hallway until he reached the door into Dan’s office. He was pretty sure that’s where he was currently keeping himself cooped up. It had the best view of the house’s front and Dan always went there when he had something to think about. Mark rapped lightly on the door.
“Dan, everyone is here and waiting for you to come greet them.” They were all very curious and nervous, Mark could tell. The sooner introduction were done with and explanations were made, the better.

Riley felt faint excitement at the older guy's mention of getting Dan. Riley so desperately wanted a chance to talk to Dan, to try and reason with him. Riley doubted that Dan would let him go back to his old life - but maybe he would let him finish high school. Riley could tell his parents he was living with friends because he was feeling stressed. Then he could finish high school and then maybe go to college in the hall. Maybe he wouldn't be able to go away to an Ivy League college, but he could go to college nearby. And then four years from now - Well he'd worry about that when the time came.

Lillis eyes swept across the room as she counted everyone. "Their all hear." She whispered under her breath.
She listened carefully as Mark spoke, knowing that all eyes we be on the two of them. Then he said the awful words. He was leaving her here with people she didn't know.
Lilli acknowledged Marks calm smile but still looked at him with the saddest eyes her eyes could make. Sadly, it didn't work. Lilli followed Mark out with her eyes then after he was out of sight she slowly turned back at the group.
"Um," She quietly hesitated for a second. "Good-evening everyone" She said in her velvety song like voice. She made a cute smile hoping no one would ask her questions. Her body quivered a bit, she was just hoping Mark or Dan would show up soon.

"My feet are tired," he explained, "I had to walk all the way here."

Evangaline crawled on her belly through the thick underbrush, trying to get as close to the house as possible now that all the pups had arrived. She'd seen the last one, Clary, drive by just a moment ago. And now that they were all there, she had to get closer to hear what lies Daniel was going to tell them about her. That way, he couldn't turn her precious pups against her.
She lay in a bush on the outskirts of the backyard. She didn't dare go any closer. She wasn't sure if any of the wolves would be able to smell her. They might come after her if they did. A part of her hoped they would. If all the older wolves came after her, she could try and lose them and then double back to get her puppies back.

"They seemed kind of interesting," Broden mumbled to herself, as she looked downwards and lifted the front end of her board off the ground again. She plopped it back down. "I wonder if I should go listen in to their meeting?"
She hopped off of the board and scooped it back up underneath her arm. Her black jacket was unzipped, revealing her graffiti blotted tank top underneath. She wore her distressed jeans, with a hole in the knees, that fanned around her black skating shoes perfectly. Though, she did need a new pair of shoes... these were beginning to look a little rugged. She thought about this as she made her way up the sidewalk, towards the front door, and looked at her feet as she walked (a habit of hers). She was just going up the stairs, when her ears perked with interest. Something just wasn't right. Where were the birds? Where were the squirrels? Of course, they usually steered clear of the front of the house, where people usually came and went. But they were always abundant in the backyard, where the woods stretched out behind the house.
Silently, she went around back. Her eyes scanned the lawn. Yeah... it needed to be trimmed. She had told Mark to do it weeks ago but he kept putting it off. Seems like she'd just have to do it herself. Other than that, and the silence, nothing seemed unusual.
"Still. Maybe I should tell Dan about it," she thought to herself, and jogged back around the side of the house, a cautious look behind her shoulder as she did so.
"Hello," she said, welcoming the strangers as she came in through the door, a little out of breath from going here and there. She smiled at them all, but the smile quickly faded, replaced with her usual poker-face. She looked and saw Lilli, standing at the bottom of the stairwell, shivering like a frightened little puppy. Typical. She had yet gotten the urge to strike up a conversation with her as to why exactly she was like that. There really wasn't a need to. Not unless it became a neccessity. She squeezed past the boy sitting at the bottom of the stairs and trugged up them, stepping heavily like always. People were always telling her to tread more lightly. She sounded like a horse. But she figured she couldn't help it. When she wasn't sailing smooth on her board she felt like a parading elephant. That's just how it was. When she reached the top of the stairs, she took a left and headed towards her room at the end of the hall. She creaked open the door and sighed, heading over to put her skateboard beside her bed where it usually rested. She stripped out of her jacket and just tossed it aside onto her bed as well. Then, she turned and headed toward her air-vent, grabbed up a cup of ramen-noodles she had heated that morning off of her bedside table, and plopped down on the floor with them, her ears intent. She took a slurp on the ramen bowl. It was better not to intrude on such an important meeting and, through her open window, the backyard was in perfect view and earshot. And, through the vent, so was the living room, the foyer, or any other room down below that connected to it. Oh, she was so clever. Or at least, that's how she saw it. She brought the chopsticks up to her mouth yet again, something she had mastered over time just so she could simply eat these microwaved snacks the proper way, for another bite.

That thought was probably the reason she jumped when the door opened once again and the blonde girl -the first one- strode in and clomped upstairs, greatly disturbing Hope's ballerina sensibilities.

Dan stood up slowly when Mark knock on the door. He knew that Evangeline was nearby, but as long as everyone was in the house, he was sure that there wouldn't be too much of a problem. He was sure that she already had a plan to get 'her' pups back, but he was sure he could prevent that from happening.
It was the least he could do for these kids, whom he'd inadvertently caused the change of.
"How do they look?" Dan murmured to Mark as he opened to door. Just from his visits to the hospital, he already had a generalized idea of how each pup as going to behave, though he had a sinking feeling that he was playing catch-up with his Evangeline in the department.

Clary looked over the rest of the guests quietly. One was sitting on the stairs, whining about having to walk all the way there or something. Though it wasn't really whining, that's just how Clary interpretted it. Her eyes rested on the dark-haired boy, studying everyone intently. Clary scoffed when his eyes rested on her. That was waisting time, it's not like she was going to be around long enought that she'd even need an analysis.
Suddenly, Clary was pushed aside as the door swung open, shoving her into the wall. That's what she got for standing so close to it, but that didn't stop her from getting angry.
"Hey you!" She called after the girl who had entered, a light-haired blonde carrying a skateboard. But she probably didn't hear her, or chose to ignore her, because she continued on her way and into her room. Clary stood there, fumming, shifting uncomfortably by favoring one foot or the other. She crossed her arms. She'd go up there and have a few words with her if it hadn't been for the fact that she had something to take care of. Name, telling off Dan for how completely stupid and uncalled for this whole gathering was. Why didn't he just leave them to take care of their own problems. They had lives to go back to, after all.

But this new girl .... What was her deal? First she'd snapped at the outgoing blonde girl and rolled her eyes at the blonde boy. And then she'd shifted her weight back and forth as if she was nervous, and then crossed her arms. Riley was thoroughly perplexed. She obviously had a temper, it didn't take a psychologist to figure that out, but then she'd fidgeted and crossed her arms - fidgeting was a sign of anxiousness and crossing of the arms was a defense mechanism. So this girl was ..... what? Out spoken, nervous, and defensive? Those three traits didn't usually go together.
Riley decided then that he'd have to play a game with this girl - just a little game. He figured that he was probably going to be here for a while - even if Dan did let him finish high school. And while he was here, he'd have to figure out this new girl. It wasn't really an option. Mysteries drove Riley crazy. If he didn't figure her out, he knew he'd go crazy. So, he'd use a little game to learn more about her. It shouldn't be hard. Even the unusual ones could be figured out if you knew how to play.
"Hi" he said softly, smiling a challenging smirk at her "I'm Riley."

When he entered the living room, the first thing he noticed was Lilli, who looked terrified. "Lillian," He began gently, "Why don't you go into the kitchen and try to figure out what to make for dinner," He instructed, giving her an easy escape route. He'd come to view Lilli as his own daughter, and even though he knew she'd have to learn with the now-doubled pack size, he chose to spoil her for now.
Hope shoved down the need to glance the other bitten girl -She remembered her name started with a 'C'-something, but wasn't sure- when she called out to the girl with the skateboard, sounding affronted. Maybe if she hadn't been acting anti-social and standing directly in front of the door-
She cut that thought off when Dan entered, emanating authority.

"Hello, I'm Clary," she said, returning the smirk. Her attention was drawn to Dan as he entered the room. She sighed, then looked the boy back into the eyes, her usual scowl finding it's way across her face. "Like I was saying, I'm Clary and that's Dan," she directed his attention toward where their host was standing with a quick point. "I don't really want to talk to you and I kind of have more important things to take care of right now than introductions."

He was momentarily pulled from looking out the window when Dan walked in. Jagger looked up to see Dan and Mark walk in, as Lilian exited. Everyone in the room was looking at Dan. Jagger was too . . . well until he noticed the curtains on the window. They were such a pretty color. . . What color was that? Maroon? No it was too dark to be maroon. Maybe burgendey. Yeah, that was it, he decided. Burgendy. He continued to stare at the curtains, tracing the intricate pattern on them with his eyes.
Jagger had the attention span of a butterfly. It's the reason he could remain emotionless in any situation. Because he had a tendency to zone out and get distracted by silly, pointless things.
. . . . . . . . .
Evangaline could watch this house like a hawk for weeks if she had to. Her pups were inside there, right now. She could hear them talking. She could hear Dan talking as well. She listened intently, waiting for the torrent of lies he was about to spill to her pups. He was going to lie to them, she was sure. He was going to make her seem like a villian. While he was the real villian. A dream killer. First he took her away from her old life, and now she was taking her pups away from her.
She still had no idea why.

When Dan started speaking to her she listened carefully and intentely to make sure she wouldn't be asked anything that would put her in the spotlight. But, then she heard the amazing sentence that uplifted her spirits. "kitchen and try to figure out what to make for dinner. " Lilli waited for a second, so it wouldn’t seem that she really wanted out of there; which she really did, then nodded and headed off to the kitchen. She almost screamed with happiness to be away from everyone else.
She followed a long corridor that was nicely lit and was made to look homely. The walls were a light caramel on the top with warm chocolate wooden panels on the bottom. As she reached the end there were two entrances, one on the left and one on the right. The light coming from the left entrance was a bright white which was the kitchen. She walked inside and was in an amazingly elegant but huge Kitchen. The cupboards were a moon white color while the counter tops were a night black. This room always made her smile because it just looked so open, and she could always come here to practice her devastating cooking skills. She skipped up to the rather large island that was basically in the middle of the U shaped kitchen. From there she pulled out a couple of cook books with the words " Famous cooking " and "Finer Diner" on them. They had her favorite meals to cook in them, so she thought she might as well try to cook from them. She skipped around to the other side of the island so she was now in between the counters and the island. On the one counter top was a small boom box so she decided to turn it on, not loud but loud enough for her to hear. The song “Mirrors” (by Natalia Kills) started to play and Lilli couldn’t help but start dancing as she got her appliances out.

I'm kind of waiting for more people to post their reactions, so I can type a decent length post
Re: [OOC] Teeth
Sorry for not replying that much lately guys...This month has kind of been really stressful, and it's kind of affecting my motivation to sit down and type out stuff

Re: [OOC] Teeth
My friend Jessica named hers Jace, and my friend Jasmine named hers Alec, which was amusing, because she didn't find out she was gay until right around that time
Which reminds me...
Magnus amuses me. He's just so...magnus-like?

Hopefully, it'll be like Changed And Teeth
Ohhh and before I forget
The name of this RP always makes me think of 'Teeth' by Lady Gaga, which has nothing to do with the RP whatsoever, other than I was listening to it while typing everything up and figuring everything out

Re: [OOC] Teeth
So I just find Simon and Jem so . . . bleh. Simon was a little more realistic then Jem; he had some depth but that didn't make him very deep. Jem is so . . . boring. I still don't want him to die. But that doesn't make him less boring.
Re: [OOC] Teeth
I personally, think Will's an obnoxious idiot
Of course, I always root for the underdog who never ends up winning (I adore Simon, though I suppose he's not doing too bad with Izzy and Maia, I just found him far more amusing)

Meh...my inspiration has been running low as of late, so I might wait awhile before replying, especially since I feel like I'm about to pass out from exhaustion and whatnot and I don't want to make a weird post. (It's happened before)
Re: [OOC] Teeth
Anyways, made my post for Clary!
Re: [OOC] Teeth
My mom is reading City Of Bones right now, and she says she's liking it
And my friend just gave me back my Clockwork Angels book (Gah! I hate waiting for sequels)
