What is the SSA?: The SSA is the initials of one of Origin's Law Enforcement branches, also known as the Special Security Agency. Special Security agents are not chosen from experience or connections, but rather their individual talents and abilities, if one of hte higher ups think they would be a good fit. They are often carrying out both standard and covert operations, and have advanced training and abilities. Including, they are given something called a "Coil Freeze", which causes them to enter a state of unaging. It also grants them further special abilities, and gives them a trace of Divinity.
Who is Taiko Kazuyin?: Taiko Kazuyin is a young boy who was raised in Hayslem City, although the places more prone to crime and violence. Despite this however, he had a naturally high intelligence, a great memory, and a fantastic ability to retain knowledge, as well as a keen analytical mind. Physically he was always weaker and smaller then the other boys, and as such he was hazed, picked on, and bullied a lot.
Then, one day, he happened to be at a diner when a high profile murder took place. The SSA was called in to investigate, but before any of their operatives could arrive, by the time they got there, Taiko had already examined and analyzed the entire crime scene, found sufficient trace evidence and secured it, and had identified the chief suspect. Incidentally, when they arrived, he was also there to kill Taiko and destroy the evidence he collected. Suffice it to say, he was saved, and then recruited, into the SSA on the spot.
