Setting
Verinotte Square bustles primarily at night as the focal point of Verinotte Hollow, despite the fact that here it is perpetually either dusk or dark. A large fountain with dragons crawling all over it takes over most of the square. At any point in the day, citizens of Verinotte Hollow can be found flipping coins into the fountain, or resting on it. Every now and again, one might catch a Gae Ceann biker or a Forces Vankoryth patrol crossing the square.
Funded by the Dracul's and maintained by the Vankoryth Detente, Verinotte Hollow is a safe haven for vampires & other creatures of night who wish to exist civilized without Human pressures. Tauvyr Tavern is to the South. Verinotte Hall towers over the northwest part of the square, with wrap-around staircase leading up to it. The Mint and Sage, Verinotte Hollow's premiere bed and breakfast, is also accessible from here.
Off a ways to the north, but still in viewing distance, is a large shrine. It has one spire that seems to stretch forever into the dark clouds. There are also many jack-o-lanterns that line the paths, a whimsical carry-over from the favored holiday of the town. Kumatora stopped mid-bite upon hearing... and smelling Phoibe's breath. Looking behind her, she let out a small yelp of shock. "G-geez... don't sneak up on me like that, Phoibe..." she said, resting her hand on her chest, before looking up over at Nerine. "...What the hell, why not?" she asked, closing her eyes and shrugging her shoulders a bit, before taking another bite from the piece of beef jerky.
Youmu Konpaku Falls from the sky, landing in a heap. How she got up there, or why she fell? YOLO, that's why. Moments later her swords fall and land on her head- sheathed still, luckily. A bump the size of a small mellon swells, much to her dismay. "Blarga!"
Having been about to answer, she noticed someone literally fall from the sky. Blinking she stared up, shielding her eyes to see if there seemed to be anything. Nothing seemed to stand out, so she stared at the form and asked quite confused, "I will ask now, how did she fall from the sky and if someone says gravity I will hurt you. I already am pissed off with losing my job."
Chen noticed the woman offering to perform. "Sure" He said with a small smile. Thats when he noticed someone land in a heap. He leaped to his feet and ran to the woman. "Did you just fall from the sky?" He said and then notices the large bump.
Would continue to 'sniff' Kuma's head, rather the Creature was 'nibbling' on the Girl(s) hair, though it came off more a 'kneading' then nibbling.
The Creature would comment, seeming to shift toward..almost as if it was 'leaning' against the poor Girl.Oh- I apologize Kuma. I tend to forget Hume(s) hearing isn't as good as a Taguel(s).
The Taguel would add, those overly sensitive ears picking up on things not many others would generally pick up on. Though she seemed to sniff at the jerky, to be honest she was hungry to what kind of meat it was...she was quite gluttonous in this form. And then someone- well that wasn't normal...most would of cracked their heads open or 'splattered' on the pavement like a bug under a fly swatter?Mm? Go ahead, I need something to take my mind away from Gambit(s) closing and all this madness.
Kumatora stared in shock as someone proceeded to fall from the sky. "I... how did she survive that?" the psychic asked, looking up at the sky, before back at the girl who just fell.
Having been only a few feet from the fallen woman, Codel flinched and took a small step backward. She watched as the others seemed to flock to the woman's side so she just watched. Codel held her breath for a moment before she let it out and then let out a soft breath, seeming to be just fine to let everyone else to handle the situation.
Flandre Scarlet, not really having much to do today, sitting upon a broken lamp post as she watched as Youmu Konpaku, a fellow resident of Gensokyo, fell from the sky, landing in the center of the city. Typical Youmu, making a big dummy of herself. She giggled, swinging her legs back and forth from where she sat. A parsol rested between her legs, shielding herself from the sun. She tilted her head, smiling.
"Heheheh~ Silly half ghost." She watched everyone looking at Youmu, and just shrugged. "I'm not sure they're used to watching people fall from the sky..oh well, us in Gensokyo are still unfamiliar with Terra, so I guess it's all fair..hehe~"

Youmu Konpaku She lay there. Did someone just ask...yeah. These people were stupid. "No, that was an illusion. I was here the whole time. Myon, where am I?" A small ball of odd mist rose from beneath her prone form, and drifted about a few feet into the air. Moments later it returned and muttered- "The ground."
"It's... it's fine, Phoibe..." Kumatora finally said to Phoibe, her mind realizing that the Taguel was still around. "Geez... you really took a fall..." she continued, looking at Youmu.
"Th-e mist just spoke? What sorcery is this?" He mumbled backing away a bit but seemed to bump into Codel. "Sorry." He said to the woman. This was all strange to hime. He was starting to wonder if he had chosen the wrong town to travel too. He offered a smile to Codel and extended his hand. "I'm Chen" he said.
A little perplexed Nerine shrugged, "So um... I shall begin..." pausing she become to slowly hum softly and her fingers strummed the strings bringing forth an slow moving enchanting melody as her voice rose and she began to sing. Not in English but instead in what appeared to be Ancient Greek. Her music would be strangely understood by the people, and it would tell a beautiful powerful story that would interest all those who heard. While doing this, her Lyre appeared to reach and start to caress and stroke people, hugging them, while her voice seemed to calm and relax all those within the area.
When she was bumped, Codel seemed to come out of her trance. She blinked and then looked at Chen. She inclined her head slowly as she took the offered hand. "Hello," she said softly. "I am Codel."
Chen shook her hand with his gloved hand. It as odd black material soft on the palm while the back of his hand was plated in metal. He smiled and released the grasp. "So this town is um turning out to be pretty interesting..." He said chuckling a bit. He listened to Nerine as he talked.
Kumatora was about to finish off the rest of the beef jerky she had... before Nerine started singing. The 'princess' slowly lowered her hand away from her mouth, a relaxed smile on her face as she listened to Nerine's song, all her worries melting away.
Codel pulled her hand back and settled it into her pocket once more. Her light green eyes glanced around as she nodded. "Interesting yes," she said softly and studied the man a bit. "It is a bit different than the other towns I've been through."
Serianata's eyes locked on to the Chimera Squad casually moving in their general direction, observing them as they entered the tent. His eyes roved up and down the line of entities before grunting and turning back to the crowds, deciding not to start anything just yet, especially not with such a crowd around.
He turned back to the crowd, watching a body fall from the sky, an impressively large rabbit, some individual standing atop a broken lamp post and a girl sitting by the fountain.
He slowly approached the fountain as the woman standing atop it began to play, observing her quietly as the ethereal limbs passed and around him though they seemed unable to touch him. He let his eyes rove over the lyre, seemingly intrigued.
He turned back to the crowd, watching a body fall from the sky, an impressively large rabbit, some individual standing atop a broken lamp post and a girl sitting by the fountain.

The Creature would continue to 'nibble' upon the Girl(s) hair, mostly because she was hungry and the Woman(s) hair smelt edible.
The Creature commented, the 'Music' from her perspective sounded..much different then it did from the perspective of a Human(s). Rather then sounding soothing, or even 'calming' it caused the creature to shudder, head shaking slightly as it continued to 'nibble' on the Woman(s) hair idly.If you are certain Kuma.
Well yes, she may of taken a bite off, but that was just a maybe! Wait, what exactly was 'that' thing..? She wasn't certain if it was 'visible' or currently hidden from the naked eye, what she did know the Woman(s) hair tasted better then grass.This is an odd scene at hand, a singer..and...I can't really put my paw on what else..I apologize if..I eat any of your hair.
Chen nodded, he listened to the music and then something else caught his eye. It was a strange creature. He shrugged and looked back to Codel. He needed a job but who aroundh here would want to hire an earthbender? "Yeah I keep hearing something about this place being a safe haven but it might be just a bit odd for my taste."
Light green eyes drifted over to the lyre player for a moment before she let out a soft sigh. "Safe havens are only safe for moments of time. Then someone decides to destroy it," she said softly and then looked back at Chen. "I've seen it happen so many times."
"That's exactly what started to happen to my home until well I wound up on this planet." He said with a sigh. He glanced around awkwardly. " Well I'm going to try to find an Inn maybe I'll see you around." He said with a smile before continuing his walk down the street.
As she kept playing, her fingers would dance over the strings and her voice would echo throughout the whole hollow, each lyric started to relax and massage the very minds of each person. Slowly and carefully the song calming, and music hugging, caressing and holding. It was just captivating.
Youmu Konpaku She sat up, and rubbed the lump on her head some, it was gonna be sore. Gathering her things she rose to her feet and looked about. The mist-like ball hovering in the air above her head, it's gaze locked on the chick playing music- Youmu hadn't noticed the playing yet, though she DID feel rather relaxed for someone who fell out of the sky.
"Yeah... yeah... whatever..." she mumbled to Phoibe, clearly entranced by the song being played, her mind finally at ease, watching Nerine play.
