Introduction
(Need more Humans and Dwarves.)
Step 1: Choose your race
Elves: Elves are by most standards the aristocracy of Celandine. They have built spectacular cities in the Silverwood Forests. Elves usually have lifespans of 500-800 years. Due to this prolonged lifespan the Elven race has created some of the finest philosphers, poets, and musicians ever seen in Celandine. Elves are virtually immortal, though they can still be slain by wounds of the flesh. However this prolonged lifespan also decreases the Elve's need to reproduce as rapidly as humans and dwarves do. An Elven woman may have only one or two children in her whole life. Children are often revered due to this rarity, and also because the Elves consider them to be the future of their race. Elves are often called the Fair Folk, they practice ancient magic that can be used to alter the looks of one's self to better fit their personality. The Elven Pariah (Pariah means abilities with magic) is far more advanced than that of the human and dwarves. Elves are superb archers, they say a 20 year old elf (Which is quite young for an elf) can shoot the wing of a fly a hundred yards away. They are an intellectual people who are very proud of their rich heritage.
Dwarves: Dwarves are what some people would call the backbone of Celandine. They are a hardy people who are fierce warriors and proud politicians. They have an average lifespan of 200-400 years. Unlike their Elven cousins dwarves reproduce almost as quickly as humans do. With this manpower they have erected some of the most breath taking monuments in all of Celandine. They live in large subterranean cities that are made with the finest craftsmanship and stone working ever seen in the history of the Celandine. Dwarves are capable of magic, though it is not very mainstream in Dwarven society. Dwarven weapons and armor are of the finest make in Celandine. Many people say that a Dwarven blacksmith at work could bring tears to the eyes of even the most iron man. Dwarves are fierce, amazing warriors. As the common Dwarf saying goes "I may be short, but its only so I may chop up your manhood."
Humans: Humans are the most numerous race in all of Celandine. They are a humble race, but one through supreme numbers, hard work, and dedication have come to be respected by Elves and Dwarves alike. Long ago Elves and Dwarves kept the humans as slaves but not since the Connous Rebellion. The Elven City of Connous was destroyed as Human slaves broke free of the chains that once impaired them. After most Elves had fled or been slaughtered the Humans built their grand city of Erandor in its place as a monument to the plight they had to overcome to gain their freedom. After a few more battles the three races decided to sign the Erandor Concordat. The Elven Queen Dalisina, and The Dwarven King Nargen had therefore sworn that Humans would never be enslaved by them or their predecessors ever again. Humans have an average lifespan of 60-110 years. Humans can be slain by illness and disease more easily than the other races. They reproduce very quickly though. A Human woman may have up to 12 children by her 50th year. Humans relied upon this evolutionary advantage to gain respect through sheer numbers. They have proved invaluable as light infantry, and exceptional archers.

The Story So Far... Write a Post » as written by 14 authors
Frankly he was shocked to see Arlathina emerge from the tunnels with the others, one of his men pointed out which ones were captives and that left her as one of the elves who spearheaded this attack on Erandor to rescue those elf " You " he said, just that one word oozed bitterness and hatred " You and your pitiful companions have caused SO many lives to be wasted here today , not only human but your Elves as well, so many have died. You would sacrificed their lives, simply to save the lives of a few who were captured? Are you truly that same woman I saw weep on the battlefield for your fellow fallen elves in front of an enemy? " he asked, though his disgust was for them all it was particularly targeted at Arlathina, there was no way her conscience could be clear or any of theirs for that matter, in the face of the devastation they have caused. He spread his arms to the ruined Erandor and told them " Look! Look at what you have done for their rescue " he shouted to them, what they would see is a town in shambles, littered with the corpses of elves and humans. The grass had already begun to die from the amount of blood soaking into the ground.
" It is said that we are the foolish barbarian race, that the elves are the wisest because of lives that stretched into the centuries but you have proven here, on this day, that you elves are the monsters that plague Celandine. I promise you this, i will not be laying down my sword this time, you will pay for the blood you have spilled here today, not even that will be enough " at that he stepped to the side to give a clear veiw of the men behind him, and from within their ranks one stepped out holding the lifeless body of a young boy no older than five, riddled with elven arrows " For this, Elves, your forest will burn to dust " He said, looking at Yuhra as he reached behind him and pulled the massive sword up and over his shoulder, in response the men readied their swords for attack. He waited though, waited to see if the ones who were rescued hearts were numb to the death that has come just for for their lives alone. Even with his helm blocking his face from view, it would be all too clear who he was looking at when he said certain things.
I tried to avoid the sight of the young boy, but I still felt bile rise in my throat. The boy must have been no older than five, his dark brown hair matted with blood and dirt. "Ar'aa lle fea esta yassen lle Edan Seldarine hin." And may your spirit rest with your Human God child. I adressed towards the poor boy.
When he referred to their forest burning to ash, it was by means of his own sword that he meant to accomplish this, rather than literally setting fire to the forest as something like that would effect them all quite negatively. Weather they manadged to dodge in time or not the space between and him and them and beyond that would have a barren ground now, as if there had been no life in the soil for years.
Taking advantage of the Human's limited range of perception, I disappeared into the cloud of inky white mist. Wrapped in the layers of vapor I was a ghost, hard to spot, and even harder to fight. A soldier stumbled blindly into my path as I nocked an arrow. Moments later the soldier fell to the ground convulsing, an Elvish arrow buried deep in his spine.
"Sullav! Na taa Eldiri!" I heard Endrid's voice ring out across the field, echoing in the distance. A great wind rose up, howling as it wiped away the fog as if it were but a mere pest. As I looked in the direction of Endrid's voice I saw that she was occupied killing soldiers, as was Yuhra. Though standing ten feet in front of me was Keaghan, mighty sword hefted in an offensive position. I looked at him warily, and pointed a sharp arrow towards him.
Once he was sure enough of the fog had been blown away he opened his eyes to find that Arlathina was no more than ten feet in front of him, ready to fire another arrow, he turned the sword towards the ground instead, plunging it into the ground and started running straight for her. He hopped being charged at so suddenly instead of trying to strike her down with his sword would throw her off a bit, just in enough time to spear her to the ground, if she didn't dodge or stop the charge in time she would certainly be incampasitated by his heavily armored shoulder being driven into her gut.
Boom!
I was thrown to the ground, but not by Keaghan's metal covered shoulder. I frantically whipped my head towards the sky, and directly above us, perched on the top of a building, was an ominous black dragon. I scrambled towards Yuhra, Endrid, and Ovordil, my feet slipping on fragments of what had once been a roof. I hadn't seen the other Handmaidens since the intial charge into Erandor, and I began to worry.
"A dragon!" I shrieked as I pointed at the winged lizard. These must be dark times indeed. . . I thought to myself.

He reached his sword and unsheathed it from the earth and hefted it into the air and brought it down in an arching swing, a wave of unseen power flew right towards the dragon but when it his it did little more than chip the beast's scales, he wasn't prepared to be taking on something so powerful therefore he could not accurately gauge how much power it would take to wound it nor did he have the time to prepare himself, the beast responded by parting it's jaw once more sending a stream of fire his way. Lava dripped from it's mouth as it did so. Keaghan quickly knelt down one one knee and held his sword out in front of him, it would begin to hum and the fire would strike it but bend around his body as if he was being protected by a shell. When the stream of fire finally seized the ground around him was scorched and on fire, he breathed heavily and remained in that position, even though the origin of the power that protected him came from the sword it drained his stamina significantly to do so.
He could see Arlathina not to far from him scrambling to get to her companions, unfortunately so did the dragon as it reared it's horrendous head back and prepared to send a stream of fire their way instead, in the back of his mind he thought of taking pleasure in watching them burn but he dismissed the thoughts quickly, he witnessed Arlathina's magic counter act his attack but he doubted in her tired state she could handle those intense flames, he lifted his blade level with him horizontally, took a couple steps forward to build momentum and threw it like a spear so it would land stuck into the ground between them and the dragon. As tired as he was he wouldn't be able to stay on his feet after throwing it and would tumbled to the ground on all fours, even out of his hands he could will the sword to defend them the same way it did him which would drain him further. They would have to escape the beast, after a full day of battle they would not be able to stand against the beast.
The dragon then turned its massive ebony skull, and glared down upon my companions and I with an annoyed expression. It then jammed open its maw and shot a gout of flames in our direction. I bunched up the muscles in my leg, ready to dodge the blazing stream of fire. Though before I could launch myself from the ground Keaghan's sword embedded itself in the bedrock in front of me.
As the fire impacted the sword it curved around the huge blade, as if protected by our enchantment, and in turn protecting us. I was truly grateful to Keaghan. I would have been able to dodge the flames, but I wasn't so sure if Yuhra, Endrid, and Ovordil could do the same. They all lacked the agility that I had trained myself in from traveling through the treetops in the Silverwood Forests.
Then came the question, should I leave Keaghan to his fate, or should I stay and defend him while risking the life of my sister Handmaiden, and my love. I heard the words of the ancient language seep from Endrid's fair mouth, and watched as she shot a current of blue flames towards the dragon. Fire was Endrid's forte, so I suspected that maybe she could defeat the dragon with his own element. Though it was useless, Endrid breathed the flame until the dragon's scales glowed bright orange, like a sword recently removed from the forge, but all the dragon did was stare down at Endrid mockingly.
His glowing scales didn't even seem to bother him in the least, and when Endrid finally gave up he turned his attention back to Keaghan, as if we weren't even worth his time.

The elf fell to its knees, fall into halves as Azure maintained his fast paced movements. Two more attempted to seize him where one could not. Both delivered downward strokes of their swords. Azure, in a blur of motion, had caught the wrist of the initiator and brought the elves sword down against its kin before impaling the creature had subjugated. Twisting the blade without an empathy, he tore it wards splitting the elf in half. Gore and splintering bone erupted in a cacophony as the blade cleaved through the living tissue. It had become all to easy for him.
The wraith moved forwards unflinching as several more elves left their human foes to attack him. One by one, they were carved apart. Sundered flesh from bone until only their carcasses lie upon the ground. The sheer violence Azure exhibited began to disturb and dismay the elven forces, he was like a demon. A creature more vile than the elves thought of the humans themselves. Even the the humans began to wonder if they should begin to attack him. In a whirlwind of flashing metal, several more elves fell to his blade. His sword emanated with a strong odor of blood and death. Azure's very being began to ripple, writhing as the shadows from the synergistic necromancy anchoring his soul to this plane of existence began to frighteningly reach outwards.
Hunched over, in the middle of the street, he stood. The elves easing back slowly, like trying to back away from a wild animal. Fear drenched their eyes. They had seen twenty or more of their men butchered like swine by this 'man'. His weapon having changed several times with his fluid movements. Now his sword looked like a segmented whip in the fashion of a sword. The long tendril coiled like a snake about his legs and feet. The bloodbath he had created, evidenced by all. Blood and muscle lying in bits and pieces around him, while fingers, toes, arms and legs...they lie everywhere else. There was something definitely unnatural about him. Even to those not of magic induced nature, could feel the carnage deep in his soul. He was a spirit driven by revenge, but for what remained a mystery to them even he hardly remembered.
The elves continued to back away from the killing frenzy. The fighting having stopped with the sound of a loud 'crack'. It was when his sword had taken on the form of a whip-like creation with bladed segments, cleaved through several elves did they start to take notice. The apparition stood there, dauntingly to the elves, giving them no choice but to back down. Azure's sword took its broadsword appearance, his hand twirled the sword before sheathing it along his back. Many of the humans took notice of the swords properties, and fell in line with the idea of it belonging to an old legendary soldier...
'So, is it a deal, assassin?'
Hunter just relized that he was talking to somebody, and nodded his head.
'Good,' the man sitting across from him said, 'I want them dead in a week.' and with that, the man left.
Hunter decided it was time to go, so he left the tavern and made his way out of the city. No one approached him, and yet, he hid his ears. Humans in this part of the city get paid a large price if they behead an elf and bring it to the guards. Hunter hurried his pace and left the city without a trace. It was going to be a long journey, but he had to be there in a week. Luckily, he bought a horse from the local horse trader. He sprang up, then landed silently on his horse. He gave it a kick, and it reered off.
Hunter had to keep alert, as the forest was a dangerous place, even for a roaming warrior. Rumors say that the trees could use it's roots, snatch an unaware creature, and suffocate the victim down under the ground. Though Hunter wasn't worried, because he knew the rumor was true, yet the trees didn't attack him. The trees sensed his blood as an elf, and let him pass. Hunter was glad that he was an elf. Though when he thought about this, something rustled in the bushes. Hunter unsheathed his daggers, then waited. Must just be the wind. Hopefully it's not a- Something jumped out and dashed for him. Yet, just as fast, Hunter sprang off his horse and dived towards the attacker. Unexpectedly, he was pinned down with a dart from the side. Oh, not the stabilizer darts. The attacker walked up to him, then whispered silently, 'Goodnight, my friend.' and with that, Hunter lost conscience...

The proud capital of the Humans. Erandor is built on a large hill that overlooks the surrounding plains. It is also a port due to its nearby water sources. It has three districts. The Undertown, Market, and The Castle District. It also owns the many plains that surround the city. Many farmers cultivate the land, and therefore Erandor is a farming capital of Celandine.

Naugeskor is the Dwarven Capital. It was built by the Dwarves in the First Era. When the Dwarves abandoned the city it fell into ruin, but after The War started the whole city was renovated. Ironically, Naugeskor was named by the Elves. The name translates to: Dwarf's Home or Home of Dwarves.
