Unwanted posting

So, I made a roleplay, and I marked in the description that it was invitation only, because it was an AU bringing together two different games of mine and the respective players.

No big deal, right?

So, a new roleplayer accidentally stumbles over the game and submits a character, so I politely send them a PM explaining why I can't accept the character and offer to help them find a roleplay. About thirty seconds later, before I've got a change to actually reject the character, the player posts in the game.

There are two issues with that situation. First being that I don't want that character in the game, and second, that an unapproved character shouldn't be able to post, right?

As for the question, is there any possible way to delete the post? I wiped the content of the post using my magic editing powers, but it's still there. Will I have to delete the game and start a clean one?

Hi there pieluver,

I can't say I know why an unapproved character was able to post in your roleplay. I'll forward this post to the site owner/coder, to see whether this is a known bug or if it's a new occurrence.

In the meantime unfortunately we don't have a way to permanently delete a post. If the blank post at the start of the roleplay is unsightly enough for you to want to create a new version of your roleplay to get rid of it, then I'm afraid that's your only option.

Hey, just want to inform that something like this happened in my RP, over a year ago. A player posted in the RP before her character had been accepted. This was particularly annoying at the time since GMs weren't yet allowed to edit other player's posts and she did it more than once (by accident).

In that occasion I submitted a thread to the help forum and was told that she was probably able to post by going ic in the chat tab in the RP. I'm not sure if this is the case here, but it seems similar to that and it may be something for the site administrators to look into. It is pretty upsetting to have someone post in your RP without your consent, whether it is by accident or not. Not to mention it must be a little awkward for a new player to do this by accident when trying to get accepted into a group. :/

That's probably what happened on mine too. It sounds logical, at least :3 I'm glad I'm not the only who this has happened to
