Calamity, a Teen Wolf Roleplay

I am officially opening up the spots of those that have been gone for a couple of months. There are three characters that are active, but we need the following characters:

The Banshee (TAKEN)
The Alpha Werewolf
The Human
The Kitsune (TAKEN)
The Druid (RESERVED)

Gender is of no consequence, however, I like a balance. I will not be accepting individuals that are known to drop off of RPs. I know who they are, and they will be rejected. Sorry. This is a small cast of characters, so one person dropping out could really ruin a lot of things. The small handful of us left are literate writers that are far from perfect so don't worry about perfection, but do have a post length of 500+. Establishing in-character relationships will be of utmost importance to the story, so you will be expected to contact other roleplayers to figure out where you fit in.

This roleplay is a reboot of HAVOC, in which the GM and their friend abandoned. If you need help with the lore of Teen Wolf, you can always go to their Wiki Page. Also, THIS LINK from the original RP will give you a breakdown of the species within the RP.

We are looking forward to finally getting this story off of the ground and will be more than happy to fill people in as they come. If you have any questions, feel free to let me know through a PM. You can even just post it on the Calamity OOC section.

C A L A M I T Y, a Teen Wolf fanfic RP

In the quiet small town of Beaumont Hills, California, an ancient beacon to the Supernatural world has taken root in its heart for thousands of years. Slayers and hunters and druids know this as the Nemeton, and it is just one of many that exist in this world. A long time ago, druids utlized this one lucious tree for ritual, but it was cut down fifty years ago by a family of hunters that still thrive to this very day. It's power wavered, and the lull of the nemeton grew quieter and quieter until the beasts that it had once lured could no longer hear its beckoning song.

It would be a peace that was short-lived, however. Something dangerous has awakened in the heart of Beaumont Hills, and it all started with a high school prank gone wrong. A trip into the woods, some hazing for the new members of the Lacrosse team, and the accidental death of a teammate. His blood seeped into the ground and was funneled to the roots of the powerful nemeton. As it drank from this misfortune, it started to awaken. Its song was but a whisper; drawing in some creatures. It was subtle enough to go unnoticed, but that would soon change.

It is lulling the humans of the town into some sort of unknowing thralldom; like sleepwalking and getting them to aid in its full recovery in all manner of ways. It has grown stronger, its song louder, and its roots begin to spread. The supernaturals are coming in harder and faster than ever, and more malicious as they can't seem to figure out how to leave. They feel chained here, and they have been reduced to their most feral instincts. High school students are going missing and there seem to be more and more animal attacks.

Strange things are afoot, and it will be up to the most unlikely group of teenagers to help stop the nemeton. Of course, they will have to contend with their own prejudices and fears, and tackle the uprooting of everything that they knew to be true.

We will be rebooting the story completely. Due to the unforeseen stresses brought on by Covid19, some of the players have asked for more time. Whether it be increased childcare due to school closures and distance learning, disruptions in school, transitions, feelings of anxiety or depression, increased workload, and more - it made sense to postpone the story's reboot until early or mid may. I hope this might open more interest to those stressed by time constrictions previously imposed.

I am still looking for an Alpha Werewolf and Human.

We are pretty even on males and females with a 3:3 ratio, so either one can be female or male. We are rebooting the story on May 10th!
