Character Name

In short, you are free to create any NPC that you wish. However, my only request is that you speak with others before using people from a certain character's story. I find that people are generally open to plotting with you, but I wouldn't want anyone to mess something up that may be in the making. You are not required to list their fairytale name if it is a secret for now.

Essex Town Main NPCs

Baja Muhadhar

Baja is a Councillor selected by the mayor of Essex. Rumor has it that he is one of the Mayor's best advisors, and she doesn't make many decisions without his say-so. The other Councillors despise him, and he's well-known for making the lives of Essex's citizens harder than it should be. He has the most tumultuous relationship with law enforcement, given that he likes to use his position as part of the town Council to his advantage. Whether or not the mayor is the one making the actual decisions is yet to be known for certain, but a lot of people seem to think that she is under his control for some reason.

Catherine Wyland

Catherine is the Mayor of Essex. People seem to like her, but they don't exactly remember how she got voted in the first time. Every three years, she's voted back into office with no competition. She has a lot of grit, but she may not be running the town entirely by her own choices.

donovan voigt

Donovan is one of the most notorious lawyers in town. No, he is not known for bringing justice to those in need. He is as corrupt as the worst of them. He is the lawyer favorited by Adrien Duval, who helps the criminals of Essex get away scot-free, time and time again. He knows the way of the law inside and out to find any loop hole that will find justice for his clients. Unknown to most, Donovan had wronged Mr. Duval, trying to turn a fast one on him to become independently wealthy. Luckily for him, the mob boss let him keep his life in exchange for one of his beautiful daughters coming to work for the criminal millionaire. Of course, he couldn't send his dearest Liesl, so he sent Lorelei to pay off his debts while Donovan struts around Essex as a made man.

sheriff frank masters

Frank is the worst kind of Sheriff that anyone could want in a small town. He's never at work when he's supposed to be and rarely helpful. He doesn't follow the law or justice, but rather whatever adds weight to his pockets. Be that raising taxes or, more commonly, bribes from Adrien Duval to look the other way. The best kind of job is one where he doesn't have to leave his desk, or better yet his house.

NPCs for The Beast

Mary Potterson

This very sweet lady might have white hair, but she's spritely and busy. Age doesn't stop her from anything. She is Ricardo's main housekeeper, and she knows everything that goes on around the estate. She's likely the first person that you will see when you come to his home, and she'll happily greet you at the door. She loves to entertain guests and is always strangely delighted for a woman to come over.

Jacque Delierre

Much like Mary Potterson, Jacque is a main part of Ricardo's household. You will often see him driving around town grabbing whatever is needed such as groceries, clothing, etc. Since Ricardo spends a lot of time indoors, Jacque is rather busy. Also not unlike Mary, he is all-too ready to entertain guests.

Don Carino

He is one of Ricardos most trusted confidants, second to only him. His sole purpose is to ensure that all the rules of the manor are abided by, no matter how harsh they may be. His role is similar here as it is back in the Realm of Enchantment. He is less willing to allow people on to the estate, per his master's request.

Dean Waldmann

Son of John and Jane Waldmann, 9 year old student and the oldest of the Waldmann children. Dean takes after his father, being more reserved than his sister. The more sensible out of the two but also the less sociable. He does his best as a big brother to protect his sister, training with his father in combat and hunting. He misses his mother a lot and dislikes the majority of women who approach his father.

Samantha Waldmann

Daughter of John and Jane Waldmann, 8 year old student and the youngest of the Waldmann children. Sam takes after her mother, having a more bubbly and open personality. The more friendlier out of the two but also the most likely to find trouble. She isn't a big fan of hunting or fighting but enjoys the time spent with her father and brother. While she also misses her mother and would rather keep her father to herself, she is more open to John having a partner.

Gregory Watson

Greg is the firstborn son to Felix Watson out of four boys. Felix has always been about creating your own way in the world and owning the things you have. This led to Greg saving up money to buy his father out of the business and put him into retirement after training under him for so long. Watson Veterinarian Clinic is now solely owned by Greg and Greg alone. It was in school when Greg first met Liana, his family often helped her out, especially when her parents died. The two became close and later started to date after she was done high school. He recently proposed to Liana and she said yes. Side note: Gregory is 30 years of age.
