@Scar - I hadn't really thought about that beyond that this isn't modern, so it will be set sometime in the future. The City itself is actually behind in the worlds advancement since its been a handful of years since anyone was allowed to leave making advancement slower, the City Council are the most technologically advanced and regulate the technology, transportation, etc that happens within the City itself. Cellphones for example would be the kind you would have seen a few years ago, TV's wouldn't be flatscreens, and most computers will still be desktop monitors.

Transportation will be the same, but there are certain types of magic that can make teleportation possible. Otherwise no hover cars/time travel. There is a bullet train in the city that runs 24 hours a day.

Placing it around that time frame sounds alright, it would sort of give enough room for a bit of advancement but without having too much craziness all at once. The Strangers would view the City as technologically behind in most aspects.

But for anyone on the Council, and The Upper Class Citizens their Tech would be more advanced, think of it as the poor stay poor while the rich of course get all the shiny new toys sort of thing. But that's alright since that leaves room for the poor to make their own tech, for communicating, and what not which makes it harder for the Council to keep tabs on them.

Yeah definitely. That's how I was imaging it almost like Blade Runner type of future.

So am I ok giving Archer a bit more advanced technology that he designed himself? Since he did create Haven, and he has supernatural condition which makes him extremely intelligent. I was imaging his technology a lot like some of the gifs I have of him on his CS kinda like Tony Starks tech. Like it's super high tech but not everyone has it, only he does because he created it kind of thing? I figured if he was in charge of security or whatever he'd need to be a decent amount advanced.

Okie dokie :) I just wanted to make sure I wasn't going too far or anything lol. I didn't want to dive too deep in his history then have to rewrite it or anything xD But I'm almost done with him. He should be finished within the next half an hour!!

And yes, I agree. I'm jealous I don't have such an proficient amount of coding skills.

@Scar-, well I really love drawing, painting, and photography, but I think I'm going to go into photography, more specifically, wildlife photographer/photojournalist (like for national geographic), that way I get to travel a lot

Uh I'm having a really bad night (just got dumped), so I'm gonna take a break from the character creating for tonight. I might b able to get back to it tomorrow, but I work. I'm not going no anywhere, I just need a break for tonight, just wanted to let you know bc ik I said both characters would be done by tonight.

Wednesday evening is going to be our official start date hopefully. Waiting on a few sheets and finishing my own right now. Im sending out reminder PMs. If we dont have enough finished sheets in Im only pushing the start to Thursday evening and no later then that.

@desire: I totally understand! I went through a similar thing last year... we were talking moving in together and marriage. I was a wreck, so I get it!! Glad you're doing better :)
