Katelyn allowed the corner of her lips to twitch upward into a tired smile. "Well at least I don't have to carry him up the stairs now..." She sighed and pulled her legs up into the hard chair with her. "It couldn't hurt to close my eyes for a minute......" She blinked slowly against her heavy lids, reaching her hand out to stroke Bella when the tiny dragon landed on what little extra room there was on the chair. "Ere' girl..." She carefully curled Bella against her chest, closing her eyes with a content smile on her face. "Just for a bit...."

Jiro awoke a few hours later, not really awake, but refreshed nonetheless. He gets out of bed and heads for the door, slipping out quietly. He made his way downstairs, much to the protest of his aching joints. He spotted Katelyn sleeping in a chair, Bella curled up on top of her. He couldn't help but smile. He went to the shelf he knew Michael kept medicines and things on and took down some cleaning alcohol. He poured some into a bowl and soaked a rag in it. He then used the rag to wipe away the blood and dirt from his wounds. He winced every once-in-a-while, but he didn't make any noise, hoping not to disturb the sleeping Katelyn.

Katelyn slept on, whirling between dreams as Bella opened her eyes as sat up, her ears up and tail up in the air like a miniature guard dog's. She looked around for the source of the sound of footsteps, and sqeaked with delight when she saw Jiro, causing Katelyn to stir for a moment, squeezing her eyes tighter before relaxing. Bella squeaked again, flapping her tiny wings and flying over to Jiro. She alighted on his shoulder and squeaked yet again, nuzzling up against his neck and flicking her stony tail about.

Jiro looked over to Bella. "Why hello there, little one. It's been a while hasn't it? She's still asleep isn't she?" he asked, looking over at Katelyn. He was nearing the end of wiping the blood off, so he just finished up as quickly as he could. He dropped the cloth back into the now red water and dried off his hands. He then rubs the dragonette's eyes behind the ridges. "We'll just let her sleep, okay?" He picked up his katana from beside the door. "Looks like I'll be relying on you more often." He looked at Bella. "Come. We have much training to do to keep her safe, little one." He heads outside, Bella and his katana in tow.

Bella stretched, digging her small claws into Jiro's shoulder as she yawned softly. She cocked her head to the side, pondering for a moment, before clambering up Jiro's neck to curl up on his head, her eyes flickering around as she let out an extra loud squeak and unfurled her wings, flapping them slowly in the sun.
Katelyn stirred again, prying her tired eyes opening. "Eh...Bella..?" She felt the tiny dragon's weight missing, and frowned in worry for a moment before sighing. "She's probably just exploring is all." She sat up, her legs numb from her sleeping position. She stood up and staggered for a moment, feeling a dull ache in her back and a slight throbbing in her legs. "Ugh....." She conjured water and splashed a bit on her face, a well needed wake up call. She spotted a bowl on the counter and peeked into it, pulling her head back immedietly as bile rose in her throat. She quickly put the rag and the water together in her mind and shook her head dissaprovingly. "Jiro..He must've gotten up first and cleaned himself up..." She sighed, backing away from the bowl and gulping as she leaned against the window, staring outside. "Ah..There he is." She frowned when she saw the katana in hand. "Idiot!"

Jiro makes his way to a nice, clear spot and unsheathes the katana. He drops the scabbard and picks Bella off of his head, sitting her on the ground. "I don't want to be hitting you with this thing." He stood back up and took a stance. He began to move through the motions of different attacks that he had picked up during his previous travels. The katana flowed through the air roughly, showing his inexperience with swords. Without his power, his muscles didn't have the same strength they had before either. He was soon out of breath and sitting on a rock, relaxing in the sun. He wiped the sweat from his brow and stood back up after a few minutes. He picked up the sword again and took the stance a second time.

Bella squeaked indignantly, baring her teeth at Jiro and exposing her claws. She stayed in her attack position for a moment, watching Jiro stumble through his sword stances. She swept her tail about behind her, catching a glimpse of it out of the corner of her eye. She immediately spun around, trying in vain to snatch her tail up in her jaws.
Katelyn made her way outside, her legs getting a shot of soreness with every step. She shrugged and did her best to ignore it, her eyes still on Jiro. He wasn't very good, but she still glowed with pride watching him. He had saved her again, given up his powers for her, gotten hurt to the point of collapsing, and now he was out training in the unforgiving sun already. She shook her head in disbelief as she sat in the shade of a tree not too far away, but hidden from his vantage point. She propped her head on her hands and smiled though she wanted to frown when he stepped into battle stance again.

Jiro continued through the motions a few times more, his arms barely supporting the sword. He let the sword slip from his fingers as he sat down again. He was breathing hard and his arms felt stiffer than the rock he sat upon. He smiled ruefully. "With another few weeks like this, I might get good enough that I won't be scared of cutting my own head off," he said to Bella, chuckling. He licked his lips and bent his back backward, following the curve of the rock. His ribcage was perfectly exposed. He watched the sky upside down, and began to draw in the air with his finger pictures that he saw in the clouds.

Katelyn rolled over, stretching her limbs through the nearby brush, creating a light rustling sound. Bella sat up, her body stiffening as she squeaked and looked towards the direction of the sound. She pointed her nose forward, unfurling her wings and leaping off of the rock and landing on the ground paws first. She squeaked again, louder this time and flapped up a few feet above the ground, making her way towards the secluded area where Katelyn lay, her eyes on the sky as she lost herself deep in thought, her hands unconsciously rested on her stomach.

Jiro stood at the sound of the rustling. He lifted his sword up shakily. "Who's there? Katelyn? Is that you over there? Please come out if it is you. I don't want to accidentally hurt you." He slowly made his way closer to the area of leaves that had rustled. His grip tightened on the katana's handle, the muscles in his arms tensing, causing them to itch. Stupid sweat. It's getting into the cuts. And it itches!

Katelyn flinched slightly, emerging from her reverie. "Hmmm?" She sat up, thinking she had heard someone making their way over, but had been too far gone to really notice. She stood, leaning on her tiptoes and creeping silently towards the place she had heard the noise come from. "It's probably just a squirrel or something, nothing major..." She darted her eyes around anxiously, a little jumpy from this morning's experience. "Right...Just a squirrel..."

Jiro came around the corner slowly, his sword tip hovering just off the ground. "Bella? Bella, did you come back here?" Jiro looked around his face paling slightly. He had called out multiple times, but nobody had responded. He was sure he had heard the rustling. He kept on his current course, hoping that he could see whatever it was before it saw him.

Katelyn pursed her lips unhappily, stopping in her tracks. "I shouldn't go much farther, I might get lost.." Her voice was too quiet to be heard, as she was still being cautious. The sun beat down on her head, irritating her sight, so she pulled up the hood of the slim cloak she usually wore under her dresses when she'd gone on excursions in the Water Kingdom. The rich purple hood completely obscured her face, saving it from the unforgiving sun. She exhaled quietly, leaning back against a tree and looking around, still feeling on edge, as if something was going to jump out at her any minute. She snapped a branch off of the tree, and held it in her hands, her gaze wavering every which way in an attempt to make sure noone snuck up on her.
Bella perched up in the high branches of a tree, swinging her tail lazily. To Jiro, she would have simply dissapeared, her flight upward being so swift and easy. She cocked her head while watching Jiro and Katelyn, able to see both perfectly from her vantage point.

Luli politely brushed Michael's hand off of her arm.
"We should get going. I wonder where Ai and Blade are? Would you have any recolection of where they might be?" She asked. She started to walk down the path, when she heard someone muttering. At least, it sounded like muttering. She ran towards the noise, only to discover that Ai had been walking away from them.

"Ai, are you all right? Ai? Ai!" She called out. She ran towards the fire princess.

When Ai heard the familiar voice she turned around, her eyes bloodshot from tear. SHe didn't even know what she was doing, or if she was alright... she just felt numb. It was one of her bad days, when the demon inside her made false memories in her head, drained her of all emotion. 'Blade?, Where is he' was all she could say before she had to use a tree to steady herself.

Tobi looked at Ginger, 'Well we should probably help out..... it seems Blade went off alone, so lets follow that path'.

Luli put here hand on Ai's shoulder.
"She does not look well." She said to Michael.
"Ai, come with us. I am Luli, not Blade. You are not okay. Here-" She said, taking her hand and leading her toward Jiro's farmhouse.
She felt something else was wrong with Ai. She did not like the feeling.

Ginger nodded and walked with Tobi, clinging onto his arm. She was not sure what to do. That was Ginger for you, never knowing how to cope with a situation.
'I'm such an idiot. I need to train, I need to become smarter...and for the sake of me, stop acting so irresponicibly!' She thought, chiding herself.

Ai paniced and hit Luli's hand from her shoulder, not knowing what else to do but run from her. Ai was quite fast for her lack of energy, but that was probably the Demons doing. As she ran along the Lake side she felt a sense of belonging from Luli, but she couldn't turn back.

Tobi walked onwards. He would find Blade, then convince him to return.

Luli saw Ai sprint away from her, and she had no ther choice but ot follow. She crouched in a position similar to a cats on all fours. Ai was runnign at an impressve speed. She would have to give it all she had. She sprinted toward Ai, then, runnign on both her hands and feet. It was a type of training she had while she lived with her parents, running like an animal to increase your speed. She kept running after her.

"Ai, stop this now! You must come with us!" She called to her.

And even now, her slight smile never faded.

Ai just kept running, she didn't know why but she was crying again. 'Leave me be' SHe screamed loudly running alot faster now.

She came to a bridge which she ran over, she set her little finger alight and touched the bridge, it burst into flames. She kept running, she came to a entrance of a wood, she went into it.

Luli's eyes opened wide as she saw the bridge get caught on fire.
'This is not good.' She thought. 'I might lose her if I do not hurry.'

She increased her speed, pushing her body. Her hands dug deep into the dirt as she thrust herslef foreward. She took one leap onto the burning bridge and ran. the bridge itself was about to collapse. She took another large leap and landed safely onto the ground. She skidded slightly, but did not trip. She began to persue Ai in the woods, looking like an animal. Little did she know that a little of her hair had caught on fire.

(Who knows. The three of us are still here, and theres a buncha people I can recruit)
