Sounds like these are all ideas you should try GMing yourself DJ. I'm doing a series of literate versions of common, overdone, and generally poorly done RPs. Things that have become cliche, and often trite. None of the things you listed sounded like they would fit in such a series.

Definitely look into a wireless adapter. Thats what I have. If you have good wi fi you'll connect really well and get like no lag or glitch at all. But if your connection isn't very good, it can get slow and laggy at times.
