And now we go live to Durandal, the AI who saw the entire battle. "Thanks Mike" the artificial intelligence said, as it floated, its symbol obvious to all the viewers. "I was assigned to watch the Battlestation Hightower, while the Evacuation, ordered by the Marduk institute, was executed. I saw many things, and I will do my best to tell you what happened on that fateful night.

Several of our ships landed on the planet, and Madame Ander, our Evacuation coordinator, helped evacuate 1 billion residents, onto the space battleship Exelion. Currently, it was last seen heading towards an uninhabited world, with a relatively pristine environment. Now, you are all asking 'why was there an evacuation of a world?' The Answer, Dear Audience, is the man, who, if my records re correct, is known as Donny. He was empowered by a strange force, and this force allowed him to fight off the Gunbuster, our most powerful weapon system to date, a powerful Class S+ Elemental Wizard, and a class S+ "Guardian". The battle was quite powerful, the Gunbuster forced to retreat, and the Guardian forced to retreat back to a sun. I'll tell you the rest of our story, after this short commercial break

*commercial break*

Durandal began again, simply saying "If you are just joining us, I was talking about the end, and rebirth of the planet Terra, in the Perci Arm of the Milky way. Terra was under assault by the Donny, who's Alchemical powers manged to destroy the planet. However, he combined it with another world, the Alchemist slamming the planets together, into one, new planet, which appears pristine. Currently, the Exelion is heading to the planet, to re-colonize the world. I witnessed all of this, from my perch in orbit. I confess this is the full truth. Thank you for your time dear viewers, and have a nice and pleasant tomorrow." The AI would then log off, as the theme music to Galactic Frontline News played.

"hn." I sighed almost inaudibly, my tail long tail swishing behind me as I walked away from the monitor, towards my unit aboard the Exelion. A better place? Pristine? So far, I'm pretty sure the people have only been able to screw themselves and their previous world over just enough until all hell broke loose. Who's to say this new world created by this Alchemist dude would be any better? If it was, it's only better because it goes according to the wishes of the Alchemist's will, not because it just came to be like this. 'Why the hell are we all so conceited?' my brows knit together in frustration as I pondered the thought. And I would know conceited, I was just the biggest living proof of it. Along with some others who are now scattered all over the place to god-knows-where.

All the experimental forms, from B1-10 have been scattered about into various sectors of the world before, to see how each diffrent form would survive and adapt. Lucky me, my egg capsule had been scattered into some twisted Haloween sector, turning me into an ultra pale, one-third feline, one-third human, and one-third bat being. Not that it mattered in that world, everyone was into biosurgeries there. Most notably over-used ones being the human/dove combo, giving them "angel wings"...except most turned out cross-eyed and left droppings everywhere.

Finally, after walking down countless twists and turns, I found my unit. Swiping my sillicon-glass ID badge over the sensor lock, it beeped a while, then ping-ed. "Please enter passcode and swipe handprint." the programmed electronic voice said. I quickly typed in a few numbers on the keypad, and slid my hand over the recognition pad. The door before me opened, and I entered into my tiny cell of a room.

I climbed into my pod and closed the transparent lid over me, and fell asleep.
unpleasantness* The only thing chimerical is a short-tempered persona who takes frustrations out on other good-willed people.
