The bar area became very congested very quickly. It was an interesting mix of people, including a few people that Danny wasn't very fond of. Danny noted how fast Ayala got flirty with another guy right in front of Ben. Okay, maybe she wasn't being a flirt, but still. It was almost like clockwork. As soon as things were okay, she was talking to other guys. Danny chose not to say anything though. Ben was gonna do what he wanted. Danny just didn't want him getting hurt. He smiled when Ben approached. "Who're you waiting on, kid?" Ben asked him as he got his drink from the bar.

"Daisy, Hayden... Liz, the usual. Nice choice on the drink." He nodded towards the drink in Ben's hand, placing his own in the air for a toast. The boys laughed at their faux toast, and Danny leaned back once again as he checked his phone. He smiled at the text from Liz. He was ready to see her. He just wasn't so sure what he would say. Daisy's text, on the other hand, made Danny beam. He was in a free spirit, do what I want, kind of mood for the night. Daisy was just what he needed. He shot back text to both girls.

TO: Liz ღ
I'll see when you get here then!

TO: Daisy ;)
I'll order us some tequila. Your shots will be here when you get here ;P

He turned back to the bar to examine the selection of tequila. After a minute or so of consideration, Danny settled on Patron Platinum. He waived down the bartender, "I'll take six shots of Patron Platinum... oh and keep it handy. I have a feeling I'll be needing more." Danny smirked as the bartender walked away to fill the order.

Sure enough, about the time the shots arrived, so did Hayden. Danny laughed as he heard the unmistakable joking voice of his best friend. "So, um you come here often?" Hayden laughed along with him, and the friends did their version of the "bro-dap" handshake. Hayden turned to order a Bloody Mary at the bar, and Danny bristled as he spotted Cyrus in the near vicinity. The arrogance on his face made Danny sick. Hayden's next question snapped him out of it, "So, any woman so far that caught your eye?" Danny glanced around playfully.

"Eh.... not really. I think my cup of tea for the night is on her way." He remarked back at Hayden. He didn't say who, though Hayden could probably figure it out.

Juliette had not been expecting Abigail to reveal that she was texting Ben. That in itself was surprising, simply because it seemed random, but what made it shocking was that everyone knew that Ben and Ya Ya had dated. Ya Ya was Abigail's Big, and of all people, going after your Big's ex seemed like a bad idea. Juliette wanted to pry further, and ask if Ya Ya knew that they had been flirting previously, and back again now, and if so, was she okay with it? She wanted to ask why Abigail even wanted to cross into that territory, given how she was sure everyone would think the same thing that Juliette was thinking, about how it was a bad idea, when they found out. It wasn't like Ben was that amazing, as far as Juliette knew, to warrant sabotaging a friendship over. Then again, she barely knew him, but regardless, it didn't seem smart. More than that, it didn't seem like something that Abby would normally do, which made the situation all the more noteworthy, because it suggested that maybe Abby wanted something real to come out of this situation. It was noteworthy, yes, but that didn't mean that Juliette thought that it was a good idea, and Abby calling it harmless automatically had Juliette raising an eyebrow in skepticism.

"I'm not an expert on relationships, but... that definitely doesn't sound harmless," Juliette admitted. She didn't want to worry Abby or make it seem like she was putting her down for her choices, but it was hard for Juliette not to be honest. As she hated stated, she wasn't an expert on romance. Actually, she was far from it. Given her own insecurities, she had never been the type to allow herself to trust and commit to anyone. For most of her life, even basic flirting had left her feeling uncomfortable because any sort of physical attention forced her to act extremely self-critical. However, Juliette did know a thing or do about friendships, and this just didn't seem like something that was going to end well. It seemed like the right thing to do to at least warn Abby that maybe it was a subject that deserved a little bit more thought. At the same time, Juliette didn't necessarily care that much, and she was close enough with Abby to agree that she wouldn't mention anything. She knew Abby was smart, and she also knew that she knew Ya Ya better than her, so if Abby thought it wasn't a big deal, Juliette wanted to trust that it wouldn't be a big deal, too. "I won't say a word, though. I'll focus my attention on finding Naomi her match made in heaven, instead," she said, already slipping out of the car to allow the girls to do the same. Once Naomi was out, Juliette clasped her hand, signaling that she wasn't going to shake her that easily, just because they had gotten to the event. "So, you're friends with Nick, right? The smart boy? Well, I'm friends with him too, and I totally thinks he likes you as more than just a friend!" Really, she had little evidence to base that on. Calling Nick a friend was a stretch in itself for Juliette. Anyone who was kind to her usually received the title, but in reality, Nick was just a tutor to her. He humored her invasive personal questions from time to time, which was how she knew that he was friends with Naomi, but he had never said anything about liking Naomi as more than a friend... which made sense, given that he wasn't even interested in girls romantically. Even that wasn't enough to stop Juliette from somehow reaching that conclusion, and actually believing it herself, in the sake of having something to be excited about, though.

Once Amaris was sure that Eliza had a ride to the event - and that meaning that she herself could be assured that she had gotten her Little there - Amaris didn't bother responding, she simply filed it away in her head as a positive. She simply went through the rest of her text messages, rolling her eyes on a demand that Ashley be brought back home if she's already white girl wasted because there was no way in hell Amaris was going to permit her to continue on for the night when she knew the other girl's propensity for throwing back vodka as if it were nothing but distilled water. She paused in her rant when she heard Daisy ask if there was any advice to be given and Amaris chuckled, staring down at her nice little paragraph of text and shot Nick a look just as he choked back a small laugh.

"Did you give your boys a speech?" She asked pointedly and Nick only grinned in response. "Didn't have to. Not sure anything could affect our, what did the board call it, historically sublime behavior. Pretty sure five of our guys could walk into a lecture right now and still be considered the sanest in the room." Amaris hummed in agreement, nodding her head along as he spoke before addressing Daisy. "My point exactly. As much as I know the Alphas and Betas give their speeches on good behavior, and the Sigmas and Zetas have a history of perpetuating a disposition of nonchalance, I don't need to tell you girls anything. I don't pretend to think that rebellion against stringency and unnecessary codes of conduct does not exist. You girls are grown and I'm going to treat you like such. Get drunk? At least remember to Uber home if you don't already have a ride. Sleep over at such and such's place? Make your walk of shame look classy and keep it pushing. Our reputation is too pristine for you to really do anything to tarnish it, but also don't push it. I like being the one house on campus everyone else underestimates. We get away with more stuff." Which set Amaris at ease at all times. Regardless of how much the Alphas thought they had more than the Thetas and sometimes even the Zetas sneered down at what they perceived as the Thetas being goody two shoes, at the end of the day, there was a privilege in being a Theta Chi sweetie-pie. People anticipated them to not party hard, to not be stealthy and evasive, to not be like the others. Which meant that their slate remained clean, they got stars across the board for good behavior, and they could still do as they pleased. Theta Chi, for Amaris, had never meant that any of them were inherently innocent. It simply meant that they could be the thorns that covered the roses everyone else assumed they were the caricature of, and no one would think otherwise. And if they did, they had a history that stretched back too far and too pristine for anyone to truly accept such a "lie." She finished her message to a few of the girls and replied to Blake respectively at the end of that thought.

To: Blake
Feeling the love already, baby boy. Omw

"Seems like we're all here," Nick commented as Eliza and Yuda both entered the car, one seamlessly after the other. Which meant they could leave and while Nick was sure he wasn't going to drink anything more for the night, a dirty martini was sounding a bit nicer than he thought it was going to. Amaris beamed at the two girls, though her eyes did linger on Eliza a bit more now that she saw that she and her Little had been on the same wave length with red. "Hello, my darlings, I'm glad we're establishing the goddess titles that we all have. It's nice to be on the same wavelength and all that," she greeted before turning back to Nick. Alright, babe. Let's get this show on the road. Ms. Ndoye is already there and there's a cosmopolitan calling my name."

The next text Cyrus receives is a phrase he's heard before, but it doesn't cease to set his cheeks on fire and his heart beating fast. He has to hand it to Maddox, the guy knows how to get him flustered. An image flashes in his head: Maddox smiling in the New York snow, standing in the doorway for dinner with Cyrus's family. He downs the thought with the last of his drink; thoughts like that are not allowed for friends-with-benefits. This relationship seems to be just that, but every day Cyrus feels an ache in his chest that almost hurts like love does, and it's scaring him. But, it doesn't scare him when he's drunk, and he's well on the way to that.

Another text lights up his phone, and thankfully it eases his burning cheeks. It's from his big, Blake Tyler, griping about the traffic and "the apocalypse" going on without him. Cyrus smirks, ordering another Tom Collins. With Andre, Blake, Cyrus, and all their fathers making the event tonight, it is sure to be something chaotic. In fact, Cyrus has already located Alexander Tyler and Bruno Rocha, and makes a point to avoid them. Reid James may be civil with his own son, but he does not want to hear the biting tones of the two other Beta alums.

Cyrus remembers a time when he couldn't wait to see Andre and Bruno at his door for dinner, or Blake and Alex for a day on the beach. They used to do everything together, and you couldn't keep the three boys apart at Beta and Fulton alumni events. He can't help but roll his eyes at the thought of them now.

Eliana, the Zeta president, joins him and the crowd at the bar as Cyrus types out a text to Blake.

[To: Blake. Unfortunately so. Daddy Dearest has made his appearance, don't make a scene tonight. I'll have a shot waiting, B.]

Suddenly, Cyrus feels a body slide against his, and with a quick glance, he notices his favorite Beta ordering a sophisticated drink beside him. A seductive smirk crosses Cyrus' features, listening to Maddox's quick chat with the bartender. Oh, long night, huh? Cyrus brushes back against Maddox as he turns to survey the party scene, his back resting against the bar. The party is starting to really get into the swing of things, and more and more people are showing their drunkenness. Soon enough, Cyrus will be just as drunk as the rest of them.

He leans to the side, just enough for him to whisper into Maddox's ear. "You will have a long night if I have any say in it." Cyrus purrs, taking a sip of his drink and waiting for the boy to react. He gives Maddox just enough time to react, but interrupts any reply with a change in the subject, one that doesn't have to be whispered in the Beta's ear. "So, you've met the famous Reid James tonight. Did you know he's a news anchor?" Cyrus says the end with facetious awe, enough to sound like an adoring fan than a black-sheep son. As he waits for Maddox's reply, he orders two tequila shots so that they'd be waiting for Blake when he got here. The temptation is enough for Blake to seek out his little first, Cyrus knows that very well.

The ride to the party was short, but enjoyable, and as Daisy climbed out of the car, she yelled her thanks to Nick. He'd been such a gentleman the whole time. Maybe she should get to know him better. Saying her goodbyes to the girls, she made a beeline for the bar, knowing that Danny was waiting there for her. She knew that the tequila was going to get her pretty drunk pretty fast, but she also didn't care. She was probably the only entirely sober person there.

Danny's back was turned to her, and her painted lips curved into a grin as she approached. Her grin only broadened as she caught the end of his sentence. "She has just arrived," she declared, wrapping an arm around his shoulders. She grinned up at Hayden, straightening up. "Well, if it isn't my two favourite boys! I can tell Amaris not to worry, I can safely get drunk with two big, strong, trustworthy men to look after me," she teased. "Speaking of which, where's this tequila? I'm one of very few people sober here, and I've never liked feeling out of place," she added.

That said, turning up not only sober, but content and sober, to a party was a nice feeling. In high school, she'd had a habit of getting drunk before she even got to the party, and if she hadn't been able to get drunk before going to the party, she was often miserable until she was at least tipsy. She'd been drinking with people that were much older with her, hooking up with guys that were definitely too old for her, and just generally doing whatever was necessary to keep her mind off of things. But now, she was genuinely here to have a good time, and while she enjoyed being a little tipsy, she didn't feel any need to get blackout drunk.

Spotting the tequila, she took a step closer to the bar, picking up a shot glass and raising an eyebrow at Danny. "Ready?" She asked.

Archie had managed to finish his second JD and coke (courteously paid for by his current 'friend') by the time Ayala sidled up to where he was sitting. Beaming at the girl, Archie nudges her shoulder with his own, "If it isn't my favourite girl," Then turning to look at Eliana cheekily Archie adds, "Ah sorry, I mean favourite Alpha - Don't worry El, you'll always be the Theta for me." Forgetting about the fact Amy was even still there, Archie only remembers again when the two new girls he had begun talking to introduce themselves to her. Eliana's quick wit and silver tongue had Archie's smile growing even bigger, however he wiped it off of his face to feign shock. "Damn El, save some of that dirty talk for the bedroom." He winks at her, knowing that this will only rile the Theta up more, but he loved to tease people, especially Eliana.

Watching as Cyrus comes up to the bar and pulls out a fake I.D Archie's eyes light up. "Oh shit," He whispers to himself before patting down his pockets until Archie has found what he is after. Holding it up to the light and looking at it like it was the second coming, Archie inwardly kicks himself for forgetting he had a fake I.D earlier. "Drinks are on me guys." Handing it over to the bartender, Archie orders a round of tequila shots for their little group. "You sure this isn't a fake?" With a roll of his eyes, Archie lets out a sigh, "Wow yeah you got me, 100% fake," Shaking his head, Archie hands the card over to the bartender with a blunt "Scan it then." Thanking heavens that he paid that extra ten bucks to get his to be scannable.

"Alright." The bartender relents, having scanned the I.D and it coming up as real, he turns around to get them all set up, giving Archie some time to talk to the girls again. "So, was that you I saw kissing Benjamin earlier?" He asks Ayala with a smirk, "You going back to basics huh?" Despite knowing full well Benjamin was also stood just a few people down at the bar with Daniel, Archie couldn't care less. However, his eyes did linger over Ben's group as Archie caught sight of Daisy. Not speaking but instead communicating with the girl via a wink, Archie raises his glass at her before looking back to Ayala.

A sigh, and Archie turns his head to look at Amy again, having once more forgotten she was even there. "I'm just gonna go.." She mutters, clearly pissed off that Archie was a) surrounded by a load of girls, and b) spending more time talking to said girls rather than her. "Aight," He replies, not particularly caring but pretending to, "Catch up with me later if you need a ride home." Unable to help himself, Archie has to slip one more little flirt in there before Amy turns tail and walks away from him, seemingly still pissed yet not able to hide that little smile that crossed her face when Archie spoke.

As Archie watched Amy walk off, his eyes glazed over Naomi stood just by the doorway and his heartbeat quickens for a second. Shaking it off, he tries to focus on the others in front of him, they were easier to understand. He'd happily sleep with both Eliana and Ya Ya if they wanted him, but at the same time Archie was also chill just being friends. With Naomi, however, it was different but Archie couldn't quite place his finger on how.

Try, and failing, to refrain from texting her, Archie can't help but shoot off a quick text while he waits for Ayala's response.

To: Omi
I doubt I'm the first person to say this to you tonight - and I definitely won't be the last - but damn Omi, you look amazing.

ELIZA LI
Image
Location: Guys in Ties and Girls in Pearls
Outfit: here
Dialogue color=#88a899

Eliza squeezed into the back of the car with Yuda and Daisy while Amaris took the shotgun seat. Eliza hadn't intended to match her sister's colour scheme, but the coincidence was a happy one if Amaris's reaction was anything to go by

"Hello, my darlings, I'm glad we're establishing the goddess titles that we all have. It's nice to be on the same wavelength and all that," she turned back to Nick. Alright, babe. Let's get this show on the road. Ms. Ndoye is already there and there's a cosmopolitan calling my name."

Looking around the car, Eliza could quite easily say that there wasn't a single one of her sisters that wasn't gorgeous in her own way. It was a boost to her confidence to have them around her. She'd seen how the Alphas worked, and Eliza wasn't sure she could keep up with that level of cattiness and expectation, but they always looked impossibly perfect. Eliza didn't want to be impossible perfect. She liked being her, flaws and all. And according to Amaris, that made her a goddess.

Eliza felt her phone buzz in her lap and fished her phone out of her bag. She switched the screen on and saw a notification from Danny.

From:Danny
I'll see when you get here then!

To:Danny
We're on our way. ETA ten minutes or so. Don't hold me to that.

When they arrived, Daisy took off, heading straight to the bar. Eliza watched her friend go, smiling as she did. That was so Daisy. In Eliza's mind, besides Amaris, Daisy was the most extroverted one of the group. She was the life and soul of the party. And also the one most likely to get drunk. Each to their own though, Eliza figured. She wasn't one for getting drunk. She'd tried it a few times and didn't really like it. Buzzed, sure, buzzed was good, but she would never be able to keep up with Daisy at the bar.

Eliza's smile dropped when she noticed Danny at the bar, right where Daisy had made a beeline to. She looked away for a moment, her confidence faltering for a moment. She was probably reading way too much into it. Daisy had a lot of friends, Danny was probably just another one. They were just getting a shot together, it's not like they were making out. It's not like Danny and Eliza were even together, so it didn't even matter if they were making out. It would be kind of crappy, but Eliza didn't have any claim to Danny beyond a few dates towards the end of last semester. Eliza rubbed the bridge of her nose. Her life was so much easier when boys hadn't been involved in it. Maybe her dad had been onto something with his no dating policy. It was a headache she could do without.

Yeah, but it's Danny. We like Danny

Eliza smoothed her hair down. Right now, Danny, and where she stood with him, were an issue for another time. Still, at least she wouldn't have to text him to let him know they were there. He could probably figure that out by Daisy being at the bar. She reached for her phone, deciding to check in on Michaela.

To: Mickey
Heey, are you at the party yet? Or do I need to wait a few?

BLAKE TYLER

Location: Guys in Ties and Girls in Pearls

Blake parked his car as his phone buzzed twice. He reached for it and checked the messages, Amaris's first. He smiled to himself at the nickname as he typed his reply.

To:Amaris
Cute. Very cute. I'll make sure there's a drink waiting for you because I'm nice like that.

Blake opened Cyrus's response and his face dropped as he slid down in his seat. Well, that explained why Alexander Sr hadn't been at home. Who in the hell had invited his fa-- Andre. Son of a bitch. Blake climbed out of his car and slammed the door shut. He pocketed his phone and car keys as he headed to the venue and headed straight for the bar, where the blissful sight of Cyrus and a shot awaited him.

"Alexander!"

Blake's foot stopped mid-stride as the familiar and unwelcome sound of his father's voice met his ears. Blake smiled thinly and turned to face his father. For a man approaching his mid-fifties, Alexander Sr didn't look so bad. For an absolute bastard of a father, Alexander Sr had the most punchable face Blake had ever set eyes on. "I go by Blake," he answered, shaking his father's hand in a vice like grip. "I assume Andre invited you? Since he's actually a Beta man."

"Yes, yes he did. You know I was al--"

"Always surprised that I wasn't a third generation legacy. That's wonderful," Blake interrupted, already knowing his father's spiel. "I have friends to meet, networking and what have you. I'm sure you busy being wooed by better people than I." Blake dropped his father's hand and disappeared into the crowd before Alexander Sr could protest. Blake weaved through the crowd to Cyrus.

"You, my friend, are a sight for sore eyes," he said as he picked up the shot glass. He signaled to the bartender. "A Manhattan and a Cosmopolitan, and whatever my friend here wants," he said, tipping his head towards Cyrus. The bartender hesitated a moment. Blake shook his head and pulled his ID out. One of the advantages of having a birthday early in the semester was that by the time these things rolled around, he had already turned twenty one. He knocked the tequila shot back. "I'm blaming Andre for this. Just so you know."

Yaya bit her lip in concern as Cyrus teased her she wasn't used to this behavior from him which told her that he was definitely not feeling comfortable. She absently leaned on him momentarily, just a innocent gesture to let him know that he had her full support. "I always miss you when you're gone Cy." She teased back for appearance sake.

Her phone vibrated loudly against the countertop of the bar and she picked it up to see a text from Cas asking her if she wanted her usual. She bit her lip and glanced at Ben across the bar before quickly typing out Yes please, please be discreet I don't want Ben to start shit with you. She knew that Ben would obviously lose it if he found out that she was taking pills from Cas. She loved him but Ben wasn't very understanding when it came to things like that and she understood with his past and all but she wasn't addicted to pills or anything she just wanted a pick me up here and there.

"So, was that you I saw kissing Benjamin earlier?" She turned her head back to Archie when she heard him mention Ben, "You going back to basics huh?" She rolled her eyes at Archie. "He is not basic, he is sweet and kind and honest. You could learn something about that. Maybe get in a relationship instead of having a different girl in your bed every night." She said it in a teasing manner but the truth was that it kind of got under her skin when people said that Ben was boring.

Yaya always wanted stability because she never really got it growing up, not until she moved in with her Dad. Her grandma tried to give her stability but if there's one thing her grandmother lacked: stability. Whether she was jetting off with a new lover to Barcelona or Paris, or she was surprising Yaya with a day trip to Manhattan for some shopping, or she was hosting some lavish party on a fucking Tuesday night. Ben was stable and she loved that about him. They had a routine and shared plans and goals. She met his family and he met hers, they had dinner at her Dad's house every Wednesday. Even her sorority sisters would joke about how her and Ben were basically already married. She could see herself marrying him and moving into a pretty house not too far from both of their parents maybe having kids, you know the American dream. It scared the shit out of her. Part of her wondered if she allowed the attention of other guys to spice things up or if deep down she was testing him. She knew his friends thought that for sure.

She glanced around for her fellow Alphas when she briefly thought that she hadn't seen many of them around yet so she sent out a group text to Audrey, Abigail, Juliette, Charlotte, and Naomi that states Hey where is everyone? I'm on drink two and nobody seems to be here

"Okay. I'll tell you guys but it must be kept on the down low." The mischievous spark was still there, and Naomi leaned in furtively, only for her smile to freeze on her face.

"Well, before Ben and Ya Ya got together, Ben liked me but I shot him down, obviously. So, now that him and Ya Ya are on a break, we've been talking how we were before. It's been amazing, honestly. Promise me that you guys won't say anything. Especially to Ya Ya. What I am doing isn't wrong, is it? It's completely harmless."

Fuck. Fuckfuckfuckfuckfuck.

Naomi's inner monologue had turned especially expletive, and for good reason. How? How could Abby not think this is a horrible situation?

It had always been a rule, hadn't it? A cardinal part of both the girl and the guy code. Don't mess around with your friend's ex.

It was bad enough that they were Alpha sisters, but Yaya was Abby's Big! Somehow, that made the entire situation feel even worse.

It was none of her business, of course. And Naomi knew that. She shouldn't have pried in the first place, and now she wished she hadn't. She would have felt so much better if she'd remained blissfully ignorant of the entire scandalous affair.

Hey- let's not freak out, okay? Yaya is sex on a fucking stick. She's probably totally over Ben and out scoping the party for someone new and she's bound to be able to find someone, let's be real so-

Try as she might to persuade herself that it would all be alright, the sinking feeling in her gut assured her otherwise. Yaya was one of her best friends- what was she supposed to do? Lie? Feign ignorance? Tell her?

But she couldn't screw over Abby, either!

See? This is why I hate relationships. No good comes out of this shit. Ever.

This entire train of thought occurred in only a couple of seconds, before being interrupted by Juliette in a bid to change the mood.

"I'll focus my attention on finding Naomi her match made in heaven, instead." Naomi followed Juliette out of the car, rolling her eyes at the comment as the younger Alpha moved to clasp her hand.

"So, you're friends with Nick, right? The smart boy? Well, I'm friends with him too, and I totally thinks he likes you as more than just a friend!"

Naomi couldn't help it, she laughed. "Yeah... no. Something tells me I'm not really his type."

As they walked into the party, Naomi paused in the entrance, and looked around admiringly. The GiTGwP party seemed to get prettier every year, and this was no exception. Glancing down to her phone, she opened a message from Yaya, which only helped the guilt of the prior car confession to come back full force.

From; Yaya
Hey where is everyone? I'm on drink two and nobody seems to be here

To; Yaya
Don't worry, the fun has arrived. ;) we're at the entrance, come find us

Just as she was putting her phone back, it buzzed again, and she read the new text from Archie.

From; Archie
I doubt I'm the first person to say this to you tonight - and I definitely won't be the last - but damn Omi, you look amazing.

Brows rising in slight surprise, Naomi looked through the crowd around her, searching for a particular face. When she finally found the right one, she met Archie's eyes, and grinned brightly. Pointedly looking over him, she shot him a teasing smirk that clearly said, "You don't look so bad yourself."

Danny and Ben made small talk while it was just the two of them. His glass dinged against Danny’s and the boys laughed at their joke toast. Ben wasn’t incredibly close with Danny, or the friends he listed off from his wait list, but he was close enough to delve into conversation with them whenever they were around. Of course, Ben respected the kids for the effort they put into these events and into the frat, but in all honesty, Ben couldn’t be bothered making deep connections with many people anymore. Not because he didn’t care about people, but more so because he reached his limit on how many people he can give attention to at once. He was a people person indeed, but a guy can only take having so many deep connections with people before it exhausted him. He blamed it on the stress that came with the break from Ayala.

Ben knocked the rest of his drink back into his mouth, expanding his cheeks to hold the liquid while he slowly drinks the stinging liquor. He lifted the empty glass in a gesture of gratitude to both the bartender and to Danny. Ben quickly pushed the rest of the liquids in his mouth down into his stomach, and he sharply exhaled. Hayden had snuck up behind Danny just seconds before, and as Ben was readying himself to walk off, he tapped both boys on the shoulder, “Boys, enjoy yourselves tonight. Just don’t embarrass anyone,” and with that, he was off. Pulling his phone out of his pocket, Ben sent a text to Abigail.

To: Abs
Girl, where are you??

Abigail looked at Juliette and shook her head. "It totally is harmless. We haven't done anything but talk and text." She muttered as Juliette said that she was going to keep quiet about it, Abigail gave her a firm nod of the head and chuckled when she said that she was going to look for Naomi a special someone. She remained silent for a little while as the vehicle finally came to a stop, she had pitched in her amount of money to pay the driver and got out of the vehicle first. Abigail straightened herself up and her clothing then turned to face Juliette and Naomi. "Remember, not a word." She muttered towards them as she turned heel towards them now. "I'll see you guys on the inside." She said as she started her small trek onto the inside, her phone chimed twice in her purse. It was Maddox and Ben. She shook her head at Maddox's text but couldn't help but smile at Ben's text. She started to type a reply towards them both but was stopped at the door. Abigail showed the proper items and was admitted inside.

To: Maddy
LOL. I just walked in, love. I'll search for you later. ;)

To: Ben ♥
I am looking for you. Are you still by the bar?

She sent those texts and squinted her eyes as she looked for Ben and tried her best to avoid anybody else before then. It wasn't anything personal but she knew if she'd talk to anyone else before Ben, she'd engage in a long conversation with them and god knows how long they'll talk and who else would interject. Abigail checked her phone repeatedly as she really hoped that Ben would text her back sooner rather than later.

Abigail needed to talk to him about what had just went down but maybe he needed to talk to her, as well. She didn't really bother to think about it but knew that if something was going on, Ben would definitely tell her.

To: Abs
I’m headed towards the door, did you just walk in?

Ben texted Abby as he looked for her. As Ben walked, he did his best to keep his eyes peeled away from Ayala and Archie. The last thing he wanted to do was set himself off. He couldn’t help but peek back occasionally at the girl he claimed to be the love of his life. The sight of Archie so close to his girlfriend – or not girlfriend – made him hot with anger. Benji redirected his attention to looking for his friend, Abigail. He wasn’t sure if the girl thought they were more than friends or not, though. They had once been more than friends, but things changed. Though, now they’re all changing again. Ben and Ayala were on a break and he and Abigail rekindled a bit of that fire they used to have.

As Ben made his way through the little clumps of people, he spotted Abby. Abigail managed to move herself through the sea of people before her as her eyes were directed towards the bar. Her phone chimed in her purse once again as she just waved it off as it couldn't have been Ben since she was on the move towards him. He smiled and strolled up to her, one hand in his pocket, with confidence. “Ab,” He put the one hand out that wasn’t in a pocket and offered it to Abby. Her ears twitched when someone said one of her many nicknames and it was Ben, standing there with one hand in his pocket and the other extended out towards her. Being her, Abigail didn't bother to give him a handshake but a hug instead as she gave him a light kiss on the cheek with a little chuckle. Ben pulled her in to give her a hug and light kiss on the cheek. “You look beautiful.” Ben pulled away from her slightly and looked her up and down, smiling.

"Thanks. You look handsome." She complimented him back as she looked up at him. "So, what's up? I know I am late to the party. Did I miss anything new or exciting?" Abigail asked him as they stood there in the middle of the doorway. She pushed herself and Ben, of course it had no effect, out of the way so that they wouldn't be in the way of the stragglers. While she waited for Ben to respond to her, she whipped her phone out really quick to send out some messages and even read Ben's text, which didn't matter now.

To: Archie :D
Hey! I am here by the door. Talking to Ben.

To: Yuda :)
You here yet, girl? I want to see how stunning you look.

Ben shuffled his feet to the side as Abigail attempted to move the stoic man from the center of the doorway. Abigail had pulled her phone out to check her messages. As she did so, Ben responded to her. "Typical college shit. Ya and I may or may not be back together. I don't know," Ben shook his head and ran his hand over his hair. ”We're sort of doing this 'non-exclusive dating, getting to know each other all over again' thing. I don't really know what it means, but yeah." Ben put air quotes around his words and shrugged, he sported a humble smile to hide the pain he felt from it. "Neither new, nor exciting. How about that drink though?" Ben's humble smile stuck on his face as he extended his elbow for Abs to grab onto so they could walk to the bar together. "What about you Abs? Holding out for someone special tonight?" Ben knew there was a fire between them, but he knew not of her intentions. Perhaps tonight was the night to explore, Ben thought.

Abigail placed her phone back inside of her purse and gave Ben her full attention. She nodded her head at the words that came over his lips and even did a few expressions with her face. She didn't know how to take the whole him and Ya Ya might or might not be together sentence though she did like Ben but don't know if she would ever date him. Abigail shrugged her shoulders at the thought then looked at Ben as he held out his elbow. She took it, of course, and chuckled at his question as they waltzed over to the bar.

"You know me better than that, Ben." She commented as they made it over towards the bar. "I'll just have an Iced Tea, please." She said towards the bartender then looked back over at Ben. "But to answer your question, no. I am not giving up anything tonight or in the near future. You know should know that." She responded towards him as the bartender came back with her Iced Tea.

She thanked the bartender and handed him a ten dollar bill and told him to keep the change. "What about you, Benji?" Abigail asked as she took a sip from her tea then eyed him. "Are you holding out for anyone?" She continued as she slurped on her tea a little bit more.

Ben leaned on the bar as the bartender came over to ask for orders. "Another Maker's and ginger," He turned his body to lean against the bar facing Abigail; behind her head, was full view of Yaya. Ben peered over Abigail's shoulder momentarily. He noticed Yaya paying full attention to the men that surrounded her. His stomach felt like it was a bottomless pit.

"Well, you never know. Maybe you'll find someone that you like enough to have a little fun with," Ben smiled at Abi but thought of Yaya. Ben turned his attention back to Abigail and took a sip of the drink the bartender handed him and slipped the gentleman his card, telling him to keep the account open. "I've got someone in mind," Ben smiled slyly at Abigail and winked at her as he moved the drink back towards his mouth. "I guess, tonight will be a night of mystery in regards to who goes home with who." Ben teased.

Abigail nodded her head at Ben's comments then looked at him whenever he said that he had someone in mind. "I bet its Ya ya." She muttered as she played with the ice inside of cup with the straw then looked back towards him. The last comment of his threw her off a little as she shrugged her shoulders with a smile, her gaze went back towards him. "I guess but we shall see." She chuckled then left her cup on the counter as she sighed a little bit. "So, I have some more people that I need to see. But don't forget to save me a dance, stud." She said as she kissed his cheek again but waited for him to say something else before she would walk off.

Ben furrowed his eyebrows to the mumbling Abigail let spill just loud enough for Ben to hear. He didn't respond though because he knew she wasn't all wrong. Yaya was the girl Ben had in mind but Abigail wasn't necessarily off his mind either. He had a crush on her long before Yaya was in the picture, she was just always the one to shoot him down so eventually, he had to move on. Ben downed his drink in a gulp and ordered another one - tonight was going to be a long one.

As Abigail moved in to kiss Ben on the cheek, he grabbed her around the waist, pulling her into him. Ben left a kiss on the edge of her neck and jawline. He released her and stepped back a bit to give her space. "And see, we shall. I'll come find you for that dance." Ben's smile was playful and flirtatious now, almost seductive. Ben winked at the girl and walked off, letting Abigail take in the moment and giving her the opportunity to see her other friends. Ben made his way towards the far end of the pool, where he sat with his drink in hand away from the ever-growing noisy crowd.

Ben's last actions stunned Abigail right where she stood. She was completely frozen as she watched him walk away after a wink. She didn't know what to say or how to respond as she stood there with her mouth opened slightly. After the display that he just showed, she wasn't sure if she wanted to dance with him now or not but she was taken away from her thoughts by the ping of her cell phone within her purse. It was Ya ya. Just what she needed.

To: Ya Ya :)
We're here, girl. I'm close to the bar. Where are you?

She sent the text then started to type a text towards Archie.

To: Archie :D
By the bar. Just FYI.

She then sent that text and just stood over by the bar, waiting to see who was going to approach her first as Ben's actions still plagued her mind a little.

When Charlotte stepped out of the limousine, being the first one out of the four occupants to get out, she felt like she had sold her soul to the devil. Call it dramatic, but she had never been the kind of person who bowed down to people's requests. She liked doing what she wanted to do, when she wanted to do it, and how she wanted to do it. Her privilege and upbringing played a role in it too, probably, but she was just used to being able to get her way, and do her own thing, without having to worry about too many consequences. It was startling for her to be in a situation where it felt impossible to say no. She was stuck between a rock and a hard place, and by the time that the limo had come to a halt outside of the venue, Audrey was smiling at her and insisting that she had made the right choice. She had preserved she and Juliette's spot in the Alpha house, and she had paid a bizarre price for it. With Audrey watching from behind, she followed directions and clasped Weston's hand as they headed inside of the venue.

Audrey and Hudson had insisted that the two of them needed to spend the night together, but at the very least, Charlotte could say that she was glad that the two house presidents hadn't insisted on following them around all night, too. She didn't doubt that the two of them would be watching, but watching from afar was highly preferred over them actually hovering over her and Weston all night. Like Audrey and Hudson had said in the car, one of Weston's Beta brothers was waiting for them near the entrance with a couple of drinks, to avoid them having to go over to the crowded bar themselves, and in Audrey's words, get "distracted". Charlotte took this as one more attempt by Audrey, to keep Charlotte away from Zetas and "bad influences", but at that point, she couldn't even object. She took her drink from the senior Beta, and followed Weston over to some couches in the quieter area of the venue, that had a little bit more of a lounge vibe to it.

Before they had even got to talking, really, Weston had done what Hudson had insisted he do immediately, and that was request a relationship status change on Facebook. Charlotte hated Facebook and barely ever used it, but knowing that Audrey would come for her if she objected, she passively accepted the request that Weston sent her, issuing a public statement that they were now "in a relationship". The entire thing made her roll her eyes, and that was the most harmless thing that she could do in reaction to it all. "Now that I'm allowed to actually speak," Wes began, referring to how Hudson had shut him down multiple times during the ride, "Let me say that I had no more of a say in this than you did. I'm basically being blackmailed into this 'relationship' too, so don't think that I had anything to do with it." His voice was apologetic more than anything. He knew that he had no more of a reason to apologize than she did, but since Hudson hadn't gone into depth in the car like Audrey had, it seemed necessary. He didn't want her to think that he was either pathetic enough to need to find a girl who had to be blackmailed into dating him, or that he was trying to take advantage of her and this situation, by going after her when she had no say in the matter.

What was frustrating for Charlotte, was that she was barely being blackmailed. Audrey couldn't leak anything on her that she wouldn't leak about herself. Charlotte didn't have many things that she was ashamed of. The things that the Alphas found to be embarrassing or repulsive were things that seemed socially mundane to her, in most cases. She was being forced into this because of her sister. That was what Audrey was holding over her head - her sister's membership to the Alpha Theta Pi sorority. No matter how frequently Charlotte said that she wanted to kill Juliette, she was a good enough sister to know that this sorority meant everything to Juliette, and she had enough of a heart to sacrifice her own dignity to protect her sister. Clearly, Audrey was well aware of that, and all the more willing to take advantage of it. That was what was infuriating about all of this. "What does he have over you?" she inquired, sipping the daiquiri in her hand. She knew that she needed to do more than just sip, if she wanted to get through this night, but at the same time, she knew that if she let that side of her take hold, she would be passed out drunk in an hour, tops.

A part of Weston felt like just being honest with Charlotte. She seemed down to earth enough to not be homophobic, and to maybe have enough decency in her to feel sympathetic towards his dilemma. At the same time, after Hudson's reaction towards it, and the passiveness that Audrey had shown in not defending him, Weston wasn't convinced that things would definitely pan out that way. It seemed safer to just brush off the question. "Just stupid shit that he's going to hold over my head, or kick me out over. He thinks dating an Alpha will turn me into future-Beta-president-material, I guess," he said, shaking his head bitterly. Although he had a drink in hand, like Charlotte, he had not taken more than a sip so far. He was too distracted and uneasy to trust himself with alcohol, though he really doubted he would have enough self-control all night to not drink. Charlotte had only nodded to his answer, and while he appreciated her leaving it at that, he felt compelled to make more conversation. Unlike her, he wasn't fully content with allowing space to be filled with silence. Especially when said space was between him and a stranger, and when that stranger was supposed to suddenly now be his girlfriend. "But I guess if we're both actually going to go through with this, we should come up with a cover story? Something to tell our friends, because I know at least mine are going to be confused about how I went from never talking about a girl, to dating her, in a matter of twenty minutes," he explained, a slight laugh following.

Charlotte nodded. She was thinking the same thing, and was actually surprised that Audrey hadn't handed them printed out scripts for what they were supposed to say, word for word, to anyone who inquired about this pretend relationship. She knew that she had a lot of people to explain this to. Her Big, Naomi, was one who she really wanted to text at that very moment and vent to, but who Audrey had specifically stated needed to be told the exact same lie as everyone else. Juliette was surely going to be shocked about this, and Charlotte already knew that she would find a way to spin this into her being offended, too. It wasn't even going to be hard, in this case, since Charlotte was well aware of the crush her sister had on Weston. Then, she knew that Michaela and Jazmyn would want an explanation about this. On top of that, she was already expecting the teasing that would surely come from them about this, and the thought of all of that and more had her reaching for her drink once again. "We can just say that we kept things private, I guess, because we didn't think that anything would come of it at first. We can say there was some friends with benefits stuff going on for a little while, and that we just decided to make things exclusive, if that works for you." She didn't know what kind of story would make any more sense than that, and the little details didn't even matter to her, much. While she would tell the lie to begin with, Charlotte knew that at some point, she would feel inclined to tell those closest to her the truth.

As delicious as the drink was and as tempting as it is to have a dozen more, Maddox decides against it. He's never been a fan of getting drunk, mainly because he'd rather have full control over his on actions. Luckily a couple of heavy drinks aren't enough to send him mumbling and stumbling. Tipsy perhaps, but still in his wits. "You will have a long night if I have any say in it.". The corner of Mad's lips curl upwards the slightest bit. There are infinitely many answers to that statement, but the blonde is clearly not looking for a response this time. "So, you've met the famous Reid James tonight. Did you know he's a news anchor?" The forced enthusiasm in Cyrus' voice pulls a soft chuckle out of Maddox. It's amazing what one can do for the sake of appearances. "Of course, he's everything I thought he'd be" he states with is fictitious admiration, knowing Cyrus will understand. That's perhaps the most honest sentence Maddox has said all night. With the way Cyrus talked about Reid James, Maddox imagined him to be just like his own father, and that he was. Two tequila shots are slid across the bar in the blonde's direction, causing Mad's eyebrows to raise, ready with a comment on how he'd probably end up driving them both home tonight but is momentarily distracted by the scene just a few chairs down. He watches as Archie maneuvers his way through a conversation with three girls, and can't help but send a tease in his direction as well as responding to Abby's incoming message.

[To: Archie – I see you take after your big brother well :) ]

[To: Abby - Good. You're the only girl I want to dance with tonight]

As flirtatious as that may sound, Abigail knows him well enough to know there's no hidden meaning behind it. "A Manhattan and a Cosmopolitan, and whatever my friend here wants,". With a turn of his head, Maddox spots Blake Tyler now standing near them ordering several drinks. After glancing at his own empty glass, he shoots the bartender a quick wave. "Those are on me he says, shooting his usual heart winning smile in Cyrus and Blake's general direction before turning back to the bartender. "As well as a Gin and Tonic, please and thank you". One more drink can't hurt, and he certainly isn't anywhere near being drunk. The bartender slides each of them their drinks and Maddox doesn't hesitate to take his own.

"Maddy!" drink in hand, Maddox turns in the direction of the unfamiliar voice. The girl's face doesn't look all that familiar either, but she clearly knows who he is and for his own good, he needs to remember who she is. "How've you been? You look really good in that suit" she chimes, while Maddox scrambles to remember her name. Abby...Annie...?

"Allie?" the satisfied smile on the girl's face immediately tells him he's spot on. "Well, look at you. As beautiful as ever" He compliments, shading her cheeks a light pink. Mad's always had a knack for remembering names and faces and it always comes in handy. As Allie carries on more of a one sided conversation, Maddox's eyes drift towards a lonely brunette in the middle of the room. One he actually remembers. Setting his empty glass aside, he sends Allie the most convincing apologetic smile he can manage. "I'm so sorry, Allie, I don't mean to be rude but there's something very urgent I need to talk to someone about. I will search for you later and we can have that dance, yes?" he says, leaving her with a wink and a fresh drink. He also shoots Cyrus a quick I'll be seeing you later look before heading towards Eliza. The less time spent near the blondie, the better. As he walks closer to the brunette, she finally notices him and he responds with a soft smile.

"Alone by coincidence or by choice?"

To: Blake
Such a gentleman. How ever am I going to repay you?

Amaris was just a bit slower than Eliza and Daisy in getting to the bar inside the venue, but it was definitely her destination once she finished schmoozing, as they all joked that the Alphas and Betas were wont to do at any chance that they got. Just the thought made her smirk, but there was no denying that that was exactly what Amaris was doing. The second they had all exited her Bentley and Nick had gone to park elsewhere (he had decided to drop them all at the entrance so that the girls didn't have to do too much walking in their heels) since the place was packed, Amaris had been swept away by a couple of alumni, the majority of whom were alum Thetas and Kappas, and two who were Alphas. As much as the cosmopolitan she knew Blake had gotten her was calling her name, there was no way in hell she wasn't about to charm her way into more money for the Thetas and at least several internship possibilities for her Theta and Kappa babies. Particularly since Ms. Ndoye, a former Theta Chi president, was living in Atlanta and had a host of charitable events that the girls could collaborate in.

"House of Ruth was such a...humbling and inspiring environment when I visited," she remarked upon their entrance into the rather spacious and luxurious modern home turned venue for the evening. "I am more than certain our girls would feel honored to come and volunteer, at least with providing an Easter meal for them in the spring semester. While it might be a bit last minute now for them to have to change plans for the upcoming Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays, particularly with the resurgence of mid-term and final cram sessions, I'm pretty sure if we sit them down before at least Christmas and incite a conversation on how they want to go about things during the spring, we will more than likely be able to participate." During a visit to Atlanta for a talk with Ntozake Shange and a host of other black feminists who sat on a panel at one of the schools in Atlanta, Amaris had happened upon a representative for House of Ruth who was incredibly close with one of the professors. After a conversation or two, and discovering their shared Fulton University affiliation, she had kept contact with the woman since last semester and they had promised to have more conversation on the Thetas participating.

"I look forward to the collaboration, my dear," Ms. Ndoye stated warmly and Amaris smiled at the hum of agreement in the air. "And might I just say, if I hadn't before, that this is a new look for you, Miss Hamilton. You look really nice." Amaris could feel the telltale flush alight her cheeks and her smile grew as she ducked her head shyly before swiping back a stray curl. "Thank you, ma'am." She glanced about them to see that they were only a room away from where she knew the bar was going to be and when she turned back to the group, a few more had been added. And Amaris knew then that that was when she needed to leave. Not because she couldn't handle anymore people, but their conversation wouldn't steer back into the direction that it had been in and it would take her the rest of the night to do so. "With all due respect, ma'am, I think you all did a wonderful job on the venue and you should enjoy your evening accordingly. I'll try to find you before the night is out or give you a call first thing tomorrow?" A response of affirmation was given and Amaris smiled cordially, shaking a few newer hands, and then parting ways with the crowd.

It didn't take long for Amaris to find the bar, especially considering the people lined up alongside it. Running a hand through her soft, dense curls, Amaris ran her eyes over the room, not particularly looking for anyone, just scoping out the room. It seemed that the louder and slightly more rambunctious music was being played outside as the atmosphere seemed jovial yet calmer inside. It made sense; considering how many people could be found inside closer to this bar and the various seating areas, this atmosphere required the networking and conversing crowds as opposed to outside where current students would probably benefit more from letting loose in lieu of upcoming exams, both for Fulton and for the various graduate studies institutions they would more than likely have to prepare themselves for. It was a bit of a reach as far as reaches went, but the thought of examinations and graduate school brought Eliana to Amaris' mind and she took the time out to text her girl before walking in the direction of the bar, smiling at a few familiar faces as she went.

To: Eli
I'm here. Nick's parking, but I'm getting a drink with Blake.

It didn't take Amaris long to find the aforementioned Sigma and while she wasn't necessarily close with the Sigma he was currently with, it wouldn't be Amaris if she couldn't identify one of the few Sigmas with stark white hair. Painted lips curving into a smirk, she approached from behind Blake, wrapping her arms around his waist and (with the assistance of her heels) resting her chin on his shoulder. "Good evening, gentleman," she greeted, eyes initially on Cyrus out of respect before said eyes lit up as she turned them to meet Blake's gaze on a grin. "Hello, handsome. I do believe I was promised a drink earlier."

It wouldn't be Mickey if she didn't immediately find where the livest music was at any place a party was hosted at and considering she wasn't in the mood for rich snobs and networking on a Sunday night (that honestly could have been spent with the homemade cheesecake she was letting firm up in the fridge and the rest of her marijuana), she had immediately found herself dragging Jazmyn to the pool area. Not only was she more entranced by the outside air and general easy-going atmosphere, the music was a touch better, there was still a bar outside and there was a pool. Being near a pool where there were lounges and such meant fun. Being inside with a bunch of old wealthy people trying to both relive their glory days and act all high-and-mighty now that they were gray (which totally had her thinking that some of these guys were sipping from the fountain of youth because there was no way in hell you could convince Mickey that these men had been in the class of 1975) just wasn't the business and once she and Jaz had gotten at least two shots of tequila in, it was lit. At least, for Mickey, once she had wandered off and found herself talking (yelling) with the DJ over the music. Come to find out, they had even DJed for the same place once or twice before, and that he had been to one of the parties she had DJed at back in Los Angeles. She also made sure to text Eliana.

To: Mama Li
Good news, I'm here. By the pool. W/ the DJ. Bad news, tequila is bomb and my car keys are kinda in my wallet in my pocket. Don't worry, honeybear. You know I don't drink much.

It probably wasn't going to convince her Big to just let her drive home after the night was over, though it was debatable whether or not Mickey was going to feel like listening once the time came. This wasn't one of the times where Mickey just didn't bother with listening or adhering to authority. Unlike a few people in this world, Michaela actually respected Eliana more than most. It probably helped that this was her Big and so their connection had to be something for the two of them to work as well as they did, but still. Eli earned Mickey's respect and for that, Michaela listened from time to time. The music changed to a dubstep R&B mix and Mickey nodded in enjoyment, giving a thumbs up to the DJ. "Dude, that's sick," she commented loudly and he grinned, earning one in response from her. Michaela looked over the crowd outside before turning back to the guy, moving one of his headphones out of the way so that he could definitely hear her. "Headed to the bar. You want anything?" Once she got his order and gave a confirmation of its reception with two thumbs up, Mickey was sidling by the group of dancers and headed to the outside bar when it occured to her that she hadn't heard much from Charlotte yet, which just didn't do. There was rarely a party she had attended since meeting the Arnault that she didn't get to have the brunette by her side, so while one of the bartenders was focused on another guest, Mickey whipped her phone back out to text Charlotte and respond to Eliza, belated realizing that Cyrus and Cas had text her.

To: Lottie
I'm hurt babe. No response, no nothing. Starting to feel unloved.

To: Lizzie
hey babe!! I'm poolside

To: Cas
U already kno I'm down. Lemme know when u get here

To: Cyrus

Yuda wasn't very excited to be there, she forgot to ask one of her friends to meet up so she didn't really know what to do but to walk in awkwardly all by herself. Well, she now had to decide what she was gonna do within the next few hours. She could just call and uber and head home, of course; Amaris would definitely not be pleased, but, hey, she made it this far and Yuda thinks that enough for her. Unfortunately, her conscience wouldn't cooperate and she walked straight through the front doors. If she didn't find anyone and things got too boring, she always had her Nintendo DS to back her up, okay yea she may look like a loser, but Thetas weren't all that known for being the coolest kids on the block As she headed into the venue, a miracle happened, her phone buzzed. Yuda sighed a breath of relief because she wouldn't have to be alone anymore.

To: Abigail
Just got here, where are you? I'm alone and I definitely do not want to look like a loner in this event. Not that I care about social status or anything but it would be nice to have someone to hang out with right now.

Yuda realize she had been rambling through text and just decided to hit send. She would run into Abby on her own or get a text back. She preferred the former option because that way a random dude wouldn't come up to her and flirt not knowing that she plays for the other team. First order of business, head to the bar. Yuda doesn't drink at all, she's just like the chips and olives they serve. Hopefully those would hold her down until the end of the night. "I should've brought snacks" She mumbled to herself under her breath. Yuda was surprised she forgot something so vital, being in a rush must really change your psych. As she got to the bar, it had felt like Moses hadn't parted the sea, Abby was there. Yuda did her second sigh of relief that night-it probably wasn't going to be that last-and walked over to her best friend. Abby! She yelled to her back. Glad I found you, thought a random dude wasn't gonna hit on me if I stayed alone for too long. Before Yuda could express more emotions than usual, she noticed something was wrong with Abigail. All the basic stuff Shen learned from Psychology, glazed eyes, slouched poster, absent mindedness, it was all there. "Hey," She snapped her fingers in front of Abigail's face to get her attention. What's up, you look lost. Something bothering you. She took a seat next to her friend.

Cyrus' attention is momentarily taken off his Asian casanova when Blake finally makes his appearance, obviously fresh from an encounter with his father. "You, my friend, are a sight for sore eyes," Blake calls to Cyrus, grabbing the shot glass and ordering two drinks for himself, and whatever Cyrus wants. He signals to the bartender for Long Island ice tea, something he can sip on without increasing his drunkenness too quickly. Maddox, ever so charming, tells the bartender that their drinks are on him, sending a smile toward the two Sigmas, the smile that made Cyrus want more than just sex. Cyrus takes the tequila shot, tipping it towards Maddox in thanks for free drinks, and knocks it back with his big. Blake immediately blames Andre for the current situation, and Cyrus shakes his head.

"I refuse to let my night be influenced by a fuckin' Beta," Cyrus growls, thankfully out of earshot of Maddox as he walks off with some girl, flashing a look at Cyrus that says he'll see him later. Cyrus does need some time away from Maddox, just until they have their own fun for the night.

Just as he takes another sip from his drink, one of the Thetas walks up to Blake and hugs him from behind. They momentarily catch eyes, and Cyrus realizes it's Amaris Hamilton. They're not exactly friends, but her relationship with Blake is so strong that Cyrus can't help but at least be civil with her. The two chat on and Cyrus is left to the company of his drink.

[To: Mickey. Did I ever tell you you're my favorite Zeta? Don't tell Jazz. About to go smoke, want to join?]

[To: Cas. I need my favorite smoking partner.]

Cyrus looks over at Blake, a mischievous grin forming on his face. "I've got some green, join me later." Cyrus whispers in the older Sigma's ear, taking his leave from the bar and making sure to bring his expensive- and half finished -drink. He makes sure to order something Cas would like as well, seeing as the other Sigma is his usual smoking partner. He weaves through the crowd with ease, knowing where the most prominent areas of Beta and Beta alumni would be, and even skirting around anyone who knows he's underage and would get him in trouble for it. Unfortunately, Reid James always has tabs on his son, and grabs Cyrus by the arm to get his attention. Cyrus places the drinks on the table beside him, folding his arms across his chest. "You're playing a dangerous game here, son. Do you know how many cops are in here?" His father growls. It's not the fact that he's drinking, it's the fact that he could be arrested, and that just wouldn't do for their reputation. Cyrus rolls his eyes, flipping out his fake I.D. from his suit pocket. "I'm 21. Now fuck. Off."

His father is shocked by his foul mouth, giving Cyrus enough time to scamper off to a lesser populated area of the venue. Outside doesn't seem too crowded, especially in one of the deserted lounges. He makes sure to keep the door open, at least for now when he was still missing Mickey and Cas.

"Okay, no to Nick, but I'll find someone for you before the night's over," Juliette insisted adamantly. Make it easier for me - who's already on your radar? You never tell me about your love life, Omi, and now that I think about it, I'm totally offended. Tell me that you're just a secretive person and that I'm not the only person that you neglect like this. And speaking of neglect, Audrey should be here by now, right? They did leave right before us, and I totally need to find her to tell her about what Abby's doing." Juliette said that as if there wasn't a second thought in her mind about confiding in Audrey about what she had just promised Abby she would keep to herself. It didn't even register with her, at first, that she was blatantly being a bad friend to Abby, since she was thinking that she was just being a good friend to Audrey. It had nothing to do with her feeling like she owed Ya Ya anything, since when it came down to it, she probably felt more of an alliance with Abby than Ya Ya, due to rushing with her. Her loyalty to Audrey overpowered that anyway, though. A bout of sense came over her a moment later though, and she turned her head back towards Naomi as they made their way deeper into the party, to a point where the bar was within view. "Or maybe you should tell her," she suggested, as she reminded herself that she liked watching conflict occur from the outside, but not so much when she was involved. "Or I could tell her with you," she continued, then deciding that she didn't want Audrey to think that she had known about something so scandalous, and hadn't immediately confided in her.

Her conversation with Naomi, and her own thoughts, were interrupted by a hand being placed on her shoulder. She looked back, startled some, until she saw that it was a familiar face behind her. It Grant Nelson, a junior Sigma, who Juliette had oddly found herself befriending the year before. Their friendship had originally begun out of him wanted to pursue her sexually, but she had expressed little interest almost immediately, and somehow, they had managed to become platonic friends. "Jules, can I steal you for a drink?" he asked, a grin on his face as he gave her shoulder a gentle squeeze. Really only because he had mentioned 'drink', a smile appeared on her own face, before she looked back to Naomi. "I'm totally not ditching you, and will be back in like thirty seconds max, but while I'm gone, figure out what we're going to do with you know who doing that totally not harmless thing with you know who, and how one of us needs to tell you know who," she said, attempting to be discrete, but probably doing so in a matter that would make it difficult for someone who actually knew who she was talking about, to even follow.

xxx"don't wait for the world to be ready.

xxxdon't wait for the world to be ready

Hayden would laugh. His friends were the perfect measure of insanity he needed. He checked his phoned and cleared it of the messages, probably the thousands his family sent him on the daily. He wasn't going to answer them. He would down the rest of his Bloody Mary, and smile. He would order another one, and wait for the next one looking at his friends. He knew Daniel was talking about the girl who just walked up.

""Well, if it isn't my two favourite boys! I can tell Amaris not to worry, I can safely get drunk with two big, strong, trustworthy men to look after me," he heard the woman speak and he laughed. "I don't really know if I can fight all the guys in here Daisy. But You look absolutely stunning. As usual," he spoke with a laugh. Hayden would nod towards them and motion that he was going to go and leave.

He would walk aimlessly, listening to one of the songs playing. He would hum along as he walked, and carefully move around the bodies of people either passed out, or about to. He laughed, he somewhat remembered his freshman year. But that memory involved him, so he somewhat stopped thinking about it. But a lot of good came out of that year, he met Daniel and Daisy, which was the only reason he came. But that was going to just leave them to talk. They were cute. Hayden would mumble to himself about not being able to play Dungeons and Dragons, he just wanted to leave. As he thought he felt his body collide with someone else's and he was sent tumbling down. "HOLY SHIT! I am so so so sorry," he frantically apologized getting up. In his mind he noticed the guy was fairly attractive and he laughed. "Roll for charisma," the male bitterly thought.

A few minutes passed, and maybe it was because Charlotte had emptied her glass by that point, but she was finding to Weston to be more enjoyable than she expected from him. She had not been envisioning him as someone who would be bland to begin with, but he was a Beta, and Charlotte did all that she could to keep her relationships with the Betas on a surface level. It wasn't fair to judge them as a whole, since she herself would never want to be judged for simply being an Alpha, but it was what it was, and in this case, getting to know Wes was proving to be a pleasant surprise. Interestingly, Wes was feeling the same way about Charlotte, though his glass was still only a few sips in, so he couldn't blame him feeling more relaxed on the alcohol. While he had gotten to know Juliette pretty well over the past year, he hadn't had the pleasure of doing the same with Charlotte. He had heard briefly, and mostly through Juliette, that she wasn't as enthused with being an Alpha as most of the girls, but he barely thought anything of it. Speaking to her now, though, he could tell that she certainly was different than her sister and most of the other Alpha girls. It wasn't a bad different, but it was noticeable. If anything, though, he preferred discovering this about her, than if he had been forced into a situation with a girl who was high strung and demanding. Charlotte seemed like she had a sense of humor in her, and a real personality that she didn't use as a facade just to fit in, like he himself had been guilty of doing over the past year.

With his mind on that, and how uncertain he felt about his current predicament, he couldn't help but to also think about Nick. Though he and Charlotte were in a fairly secluded area, his eyes had drifted away from the girl on more than one occasion when someone passed by, with his hopes jumping at the thought that maybe it was Nick. It never was, but it was that bout of hope burning in his chest that was part of the reason for why he stood up after talking with Charlotte for a few minutes. He knew that while she seemed to be genuinely entertained by their conversation that had unfolded, she probably wasn't dying to continue to socialize with him, after all that had just been thrown on them, anyway. "I'm going to go grab something else at the bar. Whatever this is sucks," he said, lifting the glass that was supposed to contain some whiskey concoction in it, but tasted far too bitter for Wes to enjoy, before continuing with, "And I'll get a refill for you too. Daiquiri, yeah?"

"Yeah, thanks," Charlotte nodded, standing up herself, though. "I'm actually going to go find a few friends outside. If you stumble across Hudson or Audrey, the alibi is that you were stopping to get us drinks before meeting me outside, but you got caught up talking to some Beta legacy, or something," she winked, then giving a wave of her hand to signal her departure. Wes nodded, and as the two moved out of the lounge, they both immediately turned to their phones. Weston couldn't even remember what Nick had said, in addition to the photo, since he had immediately deleted the texts when Hudson knocked on his door, but he sent Nick a text regardless, saying, "I won't deny that you Kappas can clean up nicely. Wya?" Given that Hudson was here, Wes was unsure if he actually intended on meeting up or even socializing with Nick here, but he was curious as to the Kappa's whereabouts regardless. Charlotte, on the other hand, was feeling less nervous when she read her texts, and more relieved, though she opted on letting Michaela play the waiting game a little bit longer, by not responding. No one had told her that Jazz and Mickey were outside, but she just had a feeling that that was where the two of them would end up, so that was where she headed. Luckily, her intuition was correct, and she found Michaela standing at the outdoor bar. Walking up behind, Charlotte gave a playful squeeze to the girl's side to signal her presence. "Let me just start off by saying that I am oh so flattered by how obsessed you are with me, Miss Vaughn," she said teasingly. "I don't blame you for needing better company than Jazzy, but gosh, I didn't know I had neglected you this badly." When the bartender came over to them, Charlotte set her credit card and fake ID down on the counter. "You can open up a tab for us," she said to the man, before turning back to Michaela with a devilish grin. "Pick out something good for me to start my night off with. I'm only one Daiquiri in and I'm going to need a lot more than that once I share some wonderful news with you."

Weston did want a drink that he would actually consume, and he figured that it would look good if he at least ordered a drink for Charlotte too, in case he stumbled upon Hudson and Audrey and had to activate their story, so he headed away from the lounge and towards the bar. He didn't get too far though, before someone turned a corner and ended up banging right into him. The contents of Weston's drink went flying, but luckily only on to the floor, and not onto either of them, and Weston was relieved when he saw that it was Hayden who was scrambling up from the floor and not some sorority girl ready to stab him with her heel. "Shit, man. My fault, my fault," he said, shaking off Hayden's apology as he offered him a hand to help him get up. "I'm a little bit out of it tonight, as you can tell," he laughed, though he nodded to the puddle of alcohol on the floor and added, "But in my defense, that was supposed to be my first drink, so I'm not even wasted. How's your night going, though? All your boys here?" He and Hayden were friendly, so he would have engaged in small talk with him at some point during the night anyway, but there was no denying that Wes was eager to talk to him now, to hear if anything exciting was going on with the Kappas... particularly Nick.

As much as he understood how important it was for her specifically to network, epecially with her being a president of a Greek organization and all, Nick honestly felt like he should have met Amaris wait for him. At least, made her enter the place with him. That way, she could take up all the attention - she was radiant tonight, more-so than she normally was - and Nick could slither away to get them drinks while she worked crowds and various one-on-one conversations. Because right about now? He was convinced that he either looked a mess and Amaris had just been trying to be nice earlier, or someone else important had walked in beside him. Not that everyone got stares of some kind when they walked in and either ignored it or reveled in it. Because that didn't exist to him, which was why he ended up having a conversation with Amaris. It didn't exactly end on a note that he would have liked, sure, but it did prompt him to text a few of his Kappa brothers to see if everyone had made it and if they were about. After all, some people didn't feel like fulfilling her best friend responsibilities.

To: Hayden, Danny, Ben
Where is everyone? I'm headed out to the pool.

Nick followed one of the side doors he remembered from originally visiting the venue some time in the event's earlier conception days and was surprised immediately by the sight of an old friend, Jessie. Jessie had graduated last year and had gone off to do Teach For America for a year since participation could help offset the financial strain of graduate school. The two had grown comfortable with one another in the time they had both been Kappas. It probably helped that it was Jessie who had even introduced Nick to the rest of the Kappas and the idea of Greek life. The fact that they had slept together prior to that discussion was a topic Nick didn't like dwelling on too much. He had just been thankful that they had kept it between the two of them. And especially that Jessie hadn't become his Big. Nick wasn't sure how he would have handled that situation. "Jess! I didn't even know you were coming back," he exclaimed once they both pulled away from their hug. The older man grinned widely, chuckling to himself. "Figured I'd surprise you guys and all. Chicago's kinda cold this time of year and I missed my Florida people. How've you been?" Nick couldn't help but grin in response. "Good, great even. I was just about to go look for Ben or one of the sophomores." It seemed possible that Jessie's grin widened even further. "Let me go get us drinks and we can look for them together. We can catch up in the meantime." Nick nodded only too quickly, reaching into his pocket once more to pull out his phone once he heard the ringtone for another text message. "I'll wait here." Once he saw the other man off, Nick glanced down at his phone, not even able to stop himself from practically beaming upon seeing a response from Weston. He couldn't even tell if it was relief that things weren't...awkward or elation that he was being acknowledged that had him smiling so hard, but either way he couldn't help but feel some inkling of satisfaction that Wes even text him. The fact that there was a compliment and a seeming desire to see him was just a completely different story and a host of butterflies in his stomach. It was only a second later that the smile dropped and Nick searched around himself, for Hudson in particular or just a Beta who had known the situation, he couldn't say, before going back to the message to type out a response.

To: Wes
Pretty sure you're looking dashing somewhere. I'm outside, near the pool. Ran into a Kappa alum. Where are you?

Was it common knowledge that Mickey was the queen of denial? Because she was - even if she didn't want to admit it. After all, who else could deny so adamantly the fluttering in their belly the second a familiar voice and hands reached them? Only Michaela and she would deny the feeling to the ends of the earth if she had enough weed in her. No alcohol, alcohol made her say stupid and honest things. It wouldn't, however, bereave her of the elation that bubbled forth and formed a grin on her face at the sight of Charlotte Arnault coming up behind her. After all, they were friends - this was her best friend. And after basically being told that they couldn't hang out (even though Mickey made a point of continuing to do so just because what the fuck is authority?), she missed the brunette. Fiercely. A lot more than she wanted to admit. Then again, she could admit that before she would ever admit the way it felt like Charlotte's touch lingered on her side even when the girl had pulled away and was focused on both getting a drink and teasing Mickey.

"Ooooohhh, holding back spicy deets now, baby girl? Should've told me sooner, I would've packed some jammies, made it a sleepover," Michaela replied offhandedly and rolling her eyes in jest with the bartender upon Charlotte slapping down an ID and what looked to be her platinum credit card, but Mickey wasn't really focusing on the smaller details. Not when Charlotte was literally right there and so close. Her hands, as always, itched to touch, but Mickey's first instinct, even when she told herself that she should stop doing that because real friends did not flirt with their close friends, was to flirt. And so she turned to Charlotte a second later with a more salacious smirk and responded indifferently, casually, "I mean, we could still do that, if you want. I sleep better naked, anyway. Might even be a little more fun that way, don't you think?." She couldn't even stop herself from winking at the brunette before returning her attention to the bartender. "You guys do Zombies right? Well, I want two for me and my girl here. And send a rum and coke to the DJ."

In all honesty, Michaela knew that she should text Jazmyn, tell the girl to come find them so that Mickey could find some semblance of control and reign herself in. Because she was capable of it, contrary to popular belief. Except...she didn't do that. Didn't move to do that nor move to see why her phone vibrated - it was probably a response from Cyrus, all things considered - at all, not when Charlotte Arnault had the puzzling capability of widening Mickey's entire scope just so that she could encompass it all on her own. It was honestly selfish, really, especially when she looked this good. All dolled up and untouchable, at least for Michaela. Mickey bit her lip on a hum, forcing herself to keep her eyes trained solely on Charlotte's (and nope, they didn't dip down to the girl's lips at all, thank you very much). Which meant she had to keep talking, if only to get a response out of Charlotte, since the other girl could get a response out of Mickey with little to no words (so unfair, by the way). "But, since we're being all honest and sharing news, Miss Arnault, I must admit that you were correct about one thing," Mickey stated and ignored the voice in her head that said her voice should not be that low or silky. She wasn't trying to take Charlotte to bed, right? Of its own volition, her left hand switched her phone to her right so that it could reach Charlotte, thumb grazing where the girl's pearl earring was connected to her earlobe, reveling in the feel of the encrusted diamonds against the pad of her thumb along with the soft skin she shouldn't be touching pressed against it, while continuing, "I was feeling quite neglected. Horrifyingly, so. Lonely, even. In fact, the only way I can think of you possibly making it up to me is not leaving my side for the rest of the night. You know, just in case I get a little too needy and need my fix. Addiction is a hard thing to crack, after all."

"Lonely? How could I be so cruel?" Charlotte responded, at first, feigning some sort of shock and sadness at the accusation towards herself as she place do a hand over her heart. Most of the time, this side of Michaela had her rolling her eyes and cracking up, but sometimes, Charlotte liked to play along. Admittedly, sometimes it was hard not to play along, and the way that Michaela looked tonight, coupled with how Charlotte felt a desperate need to break the rules and be rebellious just because Audrey's proposition left her feeling chained up, put Charlotte in a dangerous mood. Dangerous, only in the sense that it wasn't like her to get flirty with friends. She wasn't as boldly sexual as Mickey was, that was for sure, but Charlotte wasn't a prude either. She was already considering texting Cyrus after a few more drinks, to see if he was up for a little "stress relief" later on, but Michaela had chosen the perfect time to come on to Charlotte, because right now, she needed to do something that she normally would have thought to be wrong. She always laughed off Mickey's salaciousness as her friend just trying to push her buttons and get a response out of her, but tonight, she was going to push back a little. See where it took them, without considering the consequences. Or, at least not considering those consequences in any true form of seriousness.

Feeling so weighed down by the absurdity of what had happened in the past half hour or so, she had to at least shed light on the news she had referenced. She added humor to it, by incorporating a smile into her words, but at the same time, she wasn't dumb enough to tell Michaela the entire story. If she really wanted to say "fuck it" to Audrey's demands, she would have done so in the limo, but it was too soon to be going against her word. She would adhere to the story she was supposed to stick to, all while incorporating a playful tone and smirk that she knew would have her friends second guessing just how legit she was being. "I think staying by your side is the least that I could tonight, given just how inattentive I've been, but don't you think our significant others will get jealous? We both know that Jazz is already threatened by how intoxicated you get by 'Princess'' mere presence," she reminded her, speaking in third person as she used the nickname that Jazmyn had given her (much to her dismay). She stepped just a little bit closer to Michaela as she continued, with her voice softer now, though her eyes were glimmering with thrill. "And my new boyfriend might not be happy if he catches me having naked sleepovers with a Zeta. I would say he could join us, but Weston is definitely too vanilla for a threesome."

Danny smiled at Daisy as she approached. She had heard his last statement and responded in a way that left Danny confident that he could get what he wanted later that night. He zoned out for a split second when he saw Eliza walk into the crowd. Quickly snapping out of it, he smiled at Daisy. She looked insanely good. He didn't even try to hide it when he looked her up and down. Picking up his own shot glass, he pulled her in so he could whisper in her ear, "Damn, you look hot." He let her pull away and look at him. Then, with an excited grin plastered on his face, Danny raised his glass towards the middle of the drinking triangle the two of them made up with Hayden. "Let's fucking do this!" Danny shouted before knocking back his first shot. The alcohol sent a shiver down his spine, but he shook it off playfully and locked his eyes back on Daisy.

Danny's reaction to seeing her made her grin widen even more. She let him pull her against him, keeping a hand on her shot glass and staying grinning. When he released her, she looked him him up and down. "You don't look so bad yourself," she remarked. His excited grin made her laugh a little as she raised her glass to meet his. She laughed properly at his declaration, before downing her own shot. It burned a little, but she'd gotten used to the burn of alcohol long ago. She didn't miss his eyes locking on her as she reached for the next shot, handing his to him. "So, what are your plans for tonight?" She asked playfully, before knocking back the tequila again.

There was something different in Daisy's eyes tonight. Danny smirked at her question and elected for a more sarcastic response. "I think me and Hayden are gonna uber our drunk asses home and get some sleep because we're good boys and have class tomorrow." Danny laughed at his own joke. Before turning back to Daisy, Danny killed his second shot. Out of the corner of his eye he saw Ben with Abigail. His mind whirred. Danny was proud Ben wasn't pining after Ya Ya, who was still at the bar surrounded by guys. He smiled and focused his attention back towards Daisy. He placed a finger on her arm and ran it along her skin gently. Looking up at her, he returned her question. "And what about you? How do you see your night going?"

She laughed at his response, rolling her eyes. The bar was quickly getting busy, and she was able to see a number of people she recognised. Everybody seemed to be having a good time, which was the important thing. Even if these kinds of events were intended for networking, they were more frequently used as an excuse to party. Not that Daisy was any different.

The feeling of Danny's touch on her arm sent shivers down her spine, but she ignored it, instead keeping her customary grin on. "Oh, me? I'm planning on switching to something non-alcoholic after these shots, going home at a reasonable hour, watching a few episodes of whatever crime drama they're marathoning, before going to sleep at a reasonable hour like the good little Theta girl I really am," she replied, well able to mimic his sarcasm. "Unless somebody else has a better suggestion, I suppose," She added, before swallowing her next shot.

Danny downed the last of his three shots. He made it appear that he was in deep thought about a suggestion for Daisy, but in fact he laready knew his response. "I don't know... I might have something in mind, but for now, may I have this dance?" Danny stood up and put his hand out for Daisy to follow him onto the dance floor. The dance floor was littered with college students, and the formality of the party had faded. The DJ had switched the vibe over to bass bumping rap songs now, which Danny preferred to dance to. It was pretty easy for him. The girl had to do most of the work. Danny happened to know Daisy could handle it though.

Daisy laughed at his request, shaking her head. She swallowed the rest of her shots, before following him onto the dancefloor. "I'm not entirely sure enough of the tequila has kicked in for this quite yet," she said, laughing at herself a little. "Also, did I mention I have two left feet? Or did you come out with the intention of having your foot impaled by a heel? Because that's a very real probability," she said, practically having to yell over the music. "You go first, show me exactly what to do," she added, taking a step or two back. She was teasing, and had an idea that Danny knew she was teasing, but she was planning on getting as much out of it as possible.

Danny took the tease in stride, but he had seen Daisy at other parties. She really knew how to work a guy over. He pulled her close to him and turned her around, talking over the noise in her ear. "Come on Daisy. You know what to do." His tone bordered on seductive. Placing his hands on the inside of Daisy's hips, Danny kept going, "You get really close to me, and you wiggle away." Danny swung her hips back and forth a few times playfully. He almost laughed at himself. He wanted to be subtle. It was much better than saying something like Daisy I want you to shake your ass on me. Danny wasn't a jerk.

Despite all of her teasing, Daisy didn't object as Danny pulled her over to him and pressed her against him. His voice in her ear sent shivers down her back, but she refused to allow herself to react. Instead, she just rolled her eyes and laughed a little, even as he put his hands on her hips. Him swinging her hips just made her laugh. She knew exactly what he wanted her to do, and part of her wanted to do exactly that. But she also wasn't going to make it that easy for him. For far too long, she'd been the girl that would do anything with any guy that talked sweet enough. A guy was going to have to work to get her.

"Danny!" She exclaimed, pulling away, but grinning. "I am not that type of girl," she added. "If you want it, you're going to have to come over here and show me exactly what you want," she teased. "I'm not going to do all the work for you."

Daisy was playing hard to get. Danny rolled his eyes at her. She was still teasing, but Danny's father had always told him that anything worth having took time and effort. When Danny remembered this he almost laughed out loud. He was sure this wasn't what his father had in mind, but advice is advice. Danny pulled out his best smirk and teased back at her. "Daisy, do you really want me to twerk on you? Because I will. I'm nearly drunk and have no shame." He angled his body towards her like he was gonna dance on her but pulled off at the last second. "Come on girl, you know what I want. Let loose. We're having fun tonight. Look around. You aren't gonna catch any judgment here!" Danny was being nice and genuine. He figured that was what she wanted.

Daisy laughed at him offering to twerk on her, shaking her head a little. She was definitely starting to feel the effects of the alcohol now. It was definitely a good thing she had decided to stay sober before coming, because otherwise she would have been very drunk by that point. Finally giving in, she pressed herself against him, starting to roll her hips, just like he'd wanted.

Danny relaxed himself and fell into rhythm with her as they danced for quite a few songs. The party around him was starting to get wild. The students were finally drunk enough to go all out. Daisy had certainly let loose, and Danny was enjoying it for sure. She was as good at this as Danny expected, but he understood this was a social event, and they had basically only talked to each other. He let another song wind down and leaned down to whisper in her ear, turning her around to face him. "As fun as this is, we need to go socialize, he sighed as he spoke. He really just wanted to stay here all night. "When the party's winding down, I'll come find you. We've gotta get one slow dance in." Danny smiled at her and held her arm for as long as he could before turning to leave for the bar.

The more time passed, the more she felt the alcohol kicking in. She eventually relaxed properly, enjoying herself and the dance. But eventually, it had to come to an end. As he turned her around, she had to resist the temptation to pout. She beamed at his suggestion though, nodding and turning around to look for someone else she knew. She spotted Hayden crashing to the floor, and hurried over to him, reaching down to help him to his feet. She noticed the rather attractive guy standing nearby, and grinned. "Already been swept off your feet, I see?" she muttered to him, raising an eyebrow.

"Mmmmm...shame," Michaela lamented lowly without real feeling, a bit distracted by the proximity Charlotte placed between them, which really wasn't much in comparison to what they had before. Which, again, was unfair of her, a recurring theme, if anyone asked Mickey. "More for me, I guess. I tend to get a touch selfish anyway, from time to time. Come to think about it, this works out for everyone, as far as I'm concerned." Besides, it wasn't like Michaela was particularly keen on sharing Charlotte with someone else at the moment, let alone some boyfriend she had never heard of. In fact, as much as she liked to spice things up every now and then, she really wasn't of the mind to share Charlotte with anyone, if she had it her way. But her way wasn't the norm and while she liked the idea of Charlotte being reckless - and definitely being reckless with her - the occasional foray into possessive thinking wasn't one Mickey wanted to delve too deeply into. She was really good at being unaffected, preferred it that way. And while that flare of jealousy made something tighten in her chest, there was also no denying the frisson of heat that crawled down her spine the second Charlotte stepped closer to her, causing Mickey's eyes to flicker to the other girl's full lower lip before meeting her gaze again, a small smirk forming - bravado, even if she would never admit that she, for once, felt just a touch flustered, at work - on her face. Besides, it also wouldn't be her to just back down either.

While it was a running joke between the two of them (and those who had known them since their high school days) that Jaz had a tendency to become quite jealous upon Mickey and Charlotte hanging out together or playfully flirting (though the darker-skinned girl had a habit of dramatizing her "frustrations"), the one thing Mickey could say was that she knew for a fact that she was single. And last she had checked, so was Charlotte...at least, Mickey had thought she was. It was hard to continuing having the same thought process once someone, particularly someone she trusted, told her something they wouldn't normally lie about. Mickey's smooth brow furrowed just slightly in curiosity before smoothing out as she smiled easily to mask what she wanted to call overprotectiveness, not the jealousy or possessiveness. Because you can't be possessive of someone who isn't yours and you definitely can't be jealous over something you don't really want. Even though she filed the name away as one she was at least slightly familiar with.

"But please tell me more about this gentleman who's going to be taking even more of your attention away from me," Mickey pressed, still with that flirtatious glimmer in her eyes and biting her lower lip thoughtfully, releasing it only a second later to continue speaking, "Gotta to know who my competition is, after all." Not that she really wanted to hear or know about Charlotte dating anyone; never had. Which was why Michaela pulled her closer under the guise of having Charlotte closer to the bar and allowing more room for others who were coming to place orders, hand sliding up the other girl's wrist to the crook of her elbow. All the while maintaining eye contact. "Unless, of course, you have...some other way in mind for me to monopolize your time. Sure he won't be missing you too much, babe?"

"How do you do it?" Hudson and Audrey had allowed Weston and Charlotte to go off and get to know each other, since that kind of seemed like a necessary step in two strangers suddenly dating each other. Hudson had picked up drinks for himself and the Alpha President, and caught up with her a few minutes later, to find her doing what she did best - wowing people. She was involved in a conversation with an Alpha alum, who Hudson immediately recognized as Emily Perry, a girl who had been Alpha president a few years before he had even gotten to Fulton. Hudson was only privy to who she was, because his Big, who had graduated a year before, had always spoken about the insane crush that he had on the girl. Hudson had met her a few times, mostly at events like this, where she returned as an alum, when she was able to get time off from work. Like most Alphas, she was already highly successful, moving her way up the ranks at Nordstrom's department store in the administration field, all while additionally working on her own swimwear line that was supposed to launch at the department store in a few months. His own Big's obsession with this girl probably played a role in why Hudson had developed his own on Audrey. His Big had instilled in him that the Alpha girls were perfect, and that they were more than just one-night-stand-goals. They were wife goals, and if you found one that was perfect enough to actually make you think about marriage, you couldn't let her go. In addition to Emily, whose mere presence only made Hudson focus on Audrey more, the group consisted of a few older women and men, who were introduced as Beta and Alpha alumni. Hudson conversed with the Beta alumni more than the Alpha, but he listened intently to what Audrey was saying, and how she always seemed to know exactly what to say.

When the conversation fizzled out, Hudson and Audrey excused themselves and gravitated towards a

"Hmm?" she answered, her eyebrows furrowing only slightly in confusion as she looked at Hudson over the drink she was raising towards her lips. After taking a sip, she pulled the glass away and stirred the straw in it around some, deciding that it had tasted too strong at first. Audrey always loved a good buzz, but events like these were not just for fun. They were for networking, and she would be damned if she ended up making a fool of herself for the sake of a few cocktails. There was a time and a place for being sloppy, and the Guys in Ties and Girls in Pearls event was not that kind of place.

"How do you do everything so... flawlessly?" he marveled, resting against a high top table that they were standing by.

"You're sweet, Hudson, but isn't it time for you to go woo a girl who's actually going to end up in your bed tonight? I don't want to take away from your sexual endeavors, you know," she said, giving him a pointed, yet playful look. She had to find her girls anyway, after reading and leaving Ya Ya's text unanswered. She hadn't seen the junior all afternoon, and she missed her Ya Ya, for one, and secondly, had to make sure that she (and the rest of her girls) weren't being swarmed by all of the people that Audrey was sure would be attracted to them tonight, given how good they looked. Then, after she checked in on her Alphas and maybe mingled a bit more with some of the alumni at the event, she certainly needed to physically check on Charlotte. Until then, though, she opted to send the brunette a text instead.

To: Charlotte
Are we behaving ourselves?

To: Ya Ya
Coming to find you, my love <3

Hudson could only smirk at Audrey, trying to read her more deeply, but deciding that she was probably right. If she didn't want anything fun to come out of tonight, it wasn't going to do him any good to cling to her like a lost puppy. There were Betas to mingle with, current Beta brothers to monitor, drinks to down, and like Audrey said, girls to woo. When Audrey walked off, he finished off the glass of scotch he had been drinking, and headed towards the bar for round two. That wasn't before crossing paths with Maddox, who was talking to some Theta girl. Hudson didn't slow his pace, but smirked at Maddox in passing and offered him a thumbs up, a reference to the demand that his boys needed approval to take a Theta home for the night. He didn't make it to the bar after that anyway, due to being intercepted by a few Beta alumni members.

Audrey made it to the bar with fewer interruptions, though she was tempted to approach Naomi first, since the girl was standing a few feet from the bar, but still within sight's view. She had seen her earlier, though, so getting to Ya Ya seemed more urgent. Spotting her near Archie, Audrey graced the pair with a smile, ignoring the irrelevant Zetas who stood nearby. "She never fails to impress, does she?" Audrey smiled, looking to Archie and nodding at Ya Ya. "I can't say that I was happy with you abandoning us earlier, but given that this is the finished product, I'll forgive you for it," she teased.

Eliza checked her phone to see the text from Mickey. She looked around the room, planning her pathway to the pool, and apparently getting in people's way while she did. She apologised quietly as she shifted to the side. Pool, pool, who decided there was going to be a pool at this thing anyway. It's not like any of them were dressed for a pool party. God alumni events were stressful. She should have made plans to meet with people beforehand before flying in unprepared. Of course, none of this would be an issue if she wasn't so scatterbrained half the time. Eliza took a deep breath. She was a confident, smart young woman, who looked incredible tonight. She was powerful, and

And oh God, Danny was dancing with Daisy. Eliza felt her stomach drop as she saw them. Jesus Christ, Eliza get a grip. It's a crush. You went on a few dates, she told herself. From the corner of her eye, she spotted someone heading towards her. She didn't recognise him, not on sight. She looked around herself, no one else seemed to have spotted him and he was looking right at her, a smile forming on his face. "Alone by coincidence or by choice?"

Yep, definitely here for her. Life had apparently taken a crazy turn. She didn't get approached by boys at these kind of things. Not ones that looked or dressed like him anyway. "A little of column A, a little of column B? My, ah, friends are a little busy," she said, indicating to Danny and Daisy, "Wouldn't wanna interrupt them or anything like that. Sorry," she caught herself before she could babble too much, "Eliza, hi," she waved at him awkwardly. She was good at many things, casual conversations and flirting with strange boys who walked from the bar to talk to her was not one of them.

"Those are on me, As well as a Gin and Tonic, please and thank you."

Blake held his hands up as Maddox shot him a winning smile. Sure, Maddox was hot, the kind of guy Blake might just go after, but there was something between him and Cyrus, Blake was sure of it, even if the two weren't quite aware of it themselves. And so Maddox was not pursued, mostly because Blake had a feeling that Cyrus wouldn't hesitate to give him a black eye if he did. "Be my guest." He thanked the bartender and nodded to Maddox when their drinks arrived.

Blake took a sip of his drink. He stood up a little straighter when he felt arms wrapping around his waist. "Good evening, gentleman," came the delightfully familiar voice of Amaris Hamilton. Her chin rested on his shoulder. "Hello, handsome. I do believe I was promised a drink earlier."

Blake detached himself from Amaris's arms. "And what kind of gentleman would I be if I kept a lady waiting?" he asked, handing Amaris her Cosmopolitan. "Maddox paid, he insisted on it." Blake went to indicate to the Beta, but found he had disappeared. "Nevermind. I probably don't need to say it since nearly every guy in the room is practically drooling, but you look incredible."

Cyrus rose from his seat and whispered in his ear, "I've got some green, join me later." Blake nodded. "I'll catch you in a bit."

"So,"he turned his attention back to Amaris, "How was your summer?"

Hayden would slightly laugh, as he noticed it was Wes. He just said Wes was attractive, but that wasn't totally wrong. He found Weston a slightly bit more attractive than he did most people, but the guy was straight as hell. There was no point in trying. He would look towards the spilled alcohol. He casually glanced at Daisy, and would speak."Daisy, I accidentally bumped into him. Go dance with Danny, bet he'd enjoy it. And, sorry Weston, if you want another one. I can buy you a drink?," the male would laugh a bit, hoping Daisy got his message. He would reach for his phone upon feeling it vibrate.

FROM:St. Nick (Nick)
Where is everyone? I'm headed out to the pool.

He blinked and sort of looked towards Wes. "My night, has been like yours. Not filled with alcohol, trying to get drunk, possibly meet someone. Danny, Ben, and Nick are all here. Nick's at the pool, and I think Danny and Ben are somewhere around here. What about you? You want, you can come out there with me," Hayden spoke with a laugh. They were pretty chill with each other. He didn't let the other male know about his secrets. They weren't close, but they could be if Hayden tried.

TO:St. Nick
Sounds like fun, omw.

Hayden would move away from Weston, and motion for the male to follow him, as he started to walk to the outside area where they pool was.
