"Yeah... I was there this morning. I'm thinking about going back later. You should come with me. MAybe we can have a date like a couple of regular people."
He said with half a laugh.
Though...She thought...I would love to go on a date one day...[/i] She beamed up at Shane, "I'd love to."
They're moment was cut off by the sound of Jared walking up the stairs.

"Alright, let's go," he said, reaching out to grab her hand, "but let's keep our feet on the ground," he said before Elesh could bring up anything about flying. The memory of the last flight was still fresh, perhaps he would get used to it if it happened often enough, but he probably wouldn't give it the chance to come up. He turned to start walking for a moment before he remembered the tail that was around his leg, it probably wasn't the best idea to start walking with it there as he would probably pull on it, as well as trip up Elesh in their travels.

A peaceful life, no tests, no being forced to kill, no shocking for refuasal. It was nice, albeit that she'd have to hide to keep the human populice from freaking out on all of them. She glanced toward krien for a quick second, debating weither to tell how she felt, but decided against it for the time being. She didn't know how he'd react, and only knew him a little bit. 'well he is handsome I suppose....NO! NO! NOT NOW!'
"I'll give you a hand. What happened to him?"

Skyler wondered how the rest of the hybrids were doing, their first day moving in but everything was so peaceful and tranquil. If this would become their new life style forever Skyler wouldn't mind, as long as he wasn't alone anymore. It still ate him up inside, the loneliness and pain trying to keep a smile he shot the thoughts away thinking of Joanne and Eden.
"So... you wanna tell me why you took the job? What made you wanna be in charge of keeping us freaks and monsters in lock up?"
Shane asked as the two continued their descent. His distaste for everythig the facility was and did was evident in his voice.
"But Kathleen trusts you guys, so I will too. You've shown me that you aren't as far from being human as what you seem think." Jared walked down the last few stairs and stifled a yawn. "Kylar and Kathleen should be out there." He pointed out the door.

"Before that.." he said, stopping and looking towards Elesh before letting go of her hand. He worked at the make shift cloak he had been wearing and pulled it off of himself, "try this on," he said putting it around her before she could answer. "It probably isn't the best thing to wear, but it could be well suited for hiding your wings under," he tied the cloak around her, as well as adjusting a few segments here and there. "You can also put up a hood," he said pulling it up from behind and above her head, but soon pulling it back off of her, "but if you do that I won't be able to see your face as I would like," he gave a smile as he spoke. He turned and looked back towards the building, "should we go?" he asked, holding out his hand.
Kathleen greeted the two as they approached, she had stopped his bleeding, but he was still unconscious. She looked over to Jared and said, "Thank you, I'm sure you could of helped me...but I didn't want your arms popping out on me again," she laughed a bit as she touched his arm. Looking to Shane she simply said, "Will you help move him from a sitting position onto the bed? He can rest there for now."
She had set up the main room with the food and water they brought with them. Her father had a real taste for slimjims and dried fruit, among the various other supplies he had left for her. She had it layed out on an old table, separated into dried meats, dried fruits, and bottles of water. She also unpacked the medical supplies and made herself a makeshift "nurses office" on the first floor. In the corner she had piles of blankets, all folded neatly. She looked around the empty room and thought, If only I could get to my storage locker in th e city...I could bring all my old furniture...
She turned the Jared and asked him opinion, "Do you think somehow we could get to the Downtown storage facility?"
Aello
Aello walked down into the main room, and saw Jared, Shane and Kathleen. She smelled something pretty bad, and began sniffing around. She looked to Kathleen and Jared and said..."When was the last time you two took a shower?" Realizing her statement was a bit rude she added, "I mean there is a room upstairs thats filled with showers, they're all lined up with curtains between them. I think that guy said that the water was running."
There were light footsteps and the ruffling of feathers. "When was the last time you two took a shower?" Jared stared at Aello as she immediately realized what her question sounded like and explained. He began to laugh.
Finally regaining himself but still chuckling, Jared grinned at her. "I could do with a shower - though I'm slightly worried about what kind of water will come out in those showers." He imagined rust-filled liquid and decided that he'd rather not take a bath at all then stick any part of his body there. "Why would water be working anyways?" He mused. Another thought struck him. "What 'guy'?"
"He said we could use his warehouse to stay in, as long as we guarded his goods. I'm sure he will return soon..." she paused to add, "He knew about the Facility...he wasn't afraid when he saw me."
She gestures toward the lights flickering above them, "Did you not notice that we have power here? I suppose this is his warehouse..."
Kathleen added, "It's the only option we have right now..."
Kathleen replied, "Yep, you are about his size at the time that my father packed this, so...there is a bag full of things that might fit you..." she paused as she she looked through the bags "They might actually be a little tight on you..
She handed him a blue duffel bag with the name "Adam" stitched into the side with green lettering. She gave him a little smile and grabbed a red one that said "Emily" with yellow letters. I wonder if my mothers clothes will fit me?
"I think I need to clean up to," she turned to Aello and asked, "You said they were lined up locker-room style right?"
Aello replied, "Well they're are walls between each shower and there are 20 showers, 10 on each side...I don't know what his "locker-room" is but..."
Kathleen patted her head ans d said, "Thank you Aello," she turned to Shane and thanked him as well, "You too Shane."
"Shall we go Jared?"

She called out to Jared in his own stall, "There should be body wash in your bag."
She squirted her own soap in her hand and began cleaning herself, and washing her hair. The hot water, the thick lather of the soap and shampoo rolling down her skin, and the steam filling the stall...they were all wonderful things she had learned in the last few days never to take for granted again. She stood in the water until her skin started to prune, then turned the knob off.
I should have brought something to towel off with...
"Hey Jared, you didn't happen to grab a blanket or something did you?"
