Introduction
Once upon a time, God told the animals, “I’m inviting you all to my banquet tomorrow. Don’t be late.” Hearing that the mischievous rat lied to his neighbor, the cat, and told him the banquet would be the day after tomorrow. The next day the rat rode on the back of the ox and nimbly landed before the banquet hall. After him followed the ox, the tiger, and all the rest, and together they feasted until morning. All except for the cat who had been tricked.
The Sohma family has been living with a curse for as long as they could remember. They are possessed by the vengeful spirits of the Chinese Zodiac. Whenever they hug a member of the opposite sex, who isn’t a member of the Zodiac, they transform into their respective animals. They stay away from crowds to lower the occurrences of them transforming and stay to themselves more often than not.
Those who know of the Zodiac curse live inside the gate as they always have and those who do not live outside the gate. Some of the older Zodiac members have received permission from the head of the family to live outside of the gates, but only a few are allowed to do so.
This story will occur a few generations after Yuki, Kyo, and Shigure’s generation. The curse wasn’t lifted and they family remained cursed. You may not have the same names or pasts as the original characters from the series. You will obviously be related to that generation, but they are not allowed to be your parents. They can be your grandparents or something of the like, remember you are a few generations younger than them. Only if you want your character to be in his twenties or thirties can they be your parents, but please try to be reasonable in the fact that not all of the characters can be that old, we do want some to be teenagers or younger. Also try not to have too many younger Zodiac members, try to stay within reasonable ages.

For a long moment Masahiro just stared at Taki, almost draining her. Taki refused to look down but staring in his eyes brought bad memories. Taki on the floor crying and screaming for help in a dark room. White hands hiting her, pulling her hair, scratching her skin. Harsh rain slamming against the window. The memory hit Taki like a ton of bricks as tears prick in her eyes.
Taki gasped, trying to take a deep breath. Taki look away and started walking. "I'll go gets some help." Which she did, going to head servant, who one of the oldest in main house. The old woman slaped Taki for not coming sooner to get the young master some help.
About six minutes later Taki, like a good dog, brought a few servants to help the young master up. Like usually surrounding him, helping him, asking him if he in pain. Like he really is a god. Is he really is a god or some curse person like the rest of us. If he is a god couldn't he left this curse away. Is he really that selfish. Maybe he just as weak as the rest of us. Taki would never tell anyone her thoughts.

Mizure Sohma
She watched a girl interact with one of the sohmas. She didnt like it at all. What happens if Tezuka and somehow Takuya became close with this girl. It would just be like before with that Tohru girl. And it would be another person to erase their memories. Mizure sighed and continue to watch them. The two sohma's should know to be cautious because of the curse. Then she sighs again, as Tezuka walked away. Mizure looks at Takuya which was seating a couple seats away.
"Arent you going to go get him..after all he is your twin."

Akihiko watched Tezuka leave the classroom after he and the teacher had their little conversation. He then turned his gaze to the teacher and folded his arms. "It is absolutely no use trying to talk sense into that idiot. Takuya is the only one who he'll listen to. I doubt he'll change anytime soon though," he said quietly as he returned to his desk and sat down. He reached his hand up gently to cover his mouth once again as he coughed, the cough worse than the first time. He frowned to himself and wished for school to end quickly.

Takuya gave a bored glance over at Mizure. "Just because he's my brother, doesn't mean he listens to everything I say. Even I can't get him to come back to class." He then glanced at Akihiko, who coughed. "Besides, I'd be more worried about him."

Taki entered school grounds when she smelt the others. It was strange that each other sohmas had scent but Taki is the dog after all. Taki noticed that someone on the roof, she knew it was eatheir Tezuka or Takuya, most likely Tezuka. Taki could only really see him in the cornor of her eye and didn't care who it was. One of the reasons Taki didn't like the other Sohmas because she only viewed as the God's favorite pet dog and nothing else.
Taki walked in class in a middle of lession. " Mrs. Sohma your almost an hour late." The teacher scorned before turning back to the lession.
" I'm, sorry. Their was some personal family issues going at home that I had to take care of." Taki said softly before going to back of class.

Akane fled as quickly as possible to her seat in the back row, hiding her face in her hands until her blush faded. Then she put her hands down, pulled out her books, waiting for something interesting to be said, something she needed to take notes on.

Masahiro let the servants lift him to his feet, let them guide him away from the garden, back into his room. His breath rasped in his throat, rattled in his chest. His lungs were on fire, and these idiots wanted him to answer questions...
He let them bear him into his rooms, and then he lashed out, striking himself free. He staggered slightly as the servants released him, but they did not protest. He stumbled over to the futon which lay on the floor, collapsing across it, breathing still shallow, still angry. He let his eyes slip closed. No point in staying awake anyways... he would wait for those foolish zodiac to come home. Perhaps he would feel well enough then to give them some of his... attention.

Lunette kept her eyes down as she entered the school. "Sorry I'm late." She said softly, glancing up only for a second and taking a quick, cold glance at Akihiko. The teacher gave her a look more bitter then anything Luna would ever be able to muster up. She was more late then she had expected. Next time she had to remind herself to walk just a little faster. Her dark eyes fell back to the ground as she sat alone. She didn't have many friends, only because those that got close to her always ended up getting hurt. Just look at her parents. She didn't like to just blame the curse, although that explained a lot of it.

Taki sat next to Akane for the day. Tak toke out some paper and start writing peoms about her day so far. Once in awhile she would glance at Akane then at the other Sohmas. When she was done writing her peoms, she re-read them to herself.
Right then, Taki's stomach growled. AW, MAN!! I forgot to eat!! Taki slamed her to the desk moaning at her hunger.

Takyua's eyes imedieatly shot up when Lunette entered the room. He watched her walk to her desk, smiling slightly as she apssed. He couldn't help it if he was always nice to her. For the most part though, he kept to his own llittle world. He loved school, but he never had to pay attention. For the most part, he slept. He wasn't surprised Luna and Taki both walked in so late. With Taki at Masahiro's beck and call, it was all the girl could do just to remember to eat. Which after he saw her slam her head on the desk, he figured she'd forgotten to do once again.
He snapped out of it as they were desmissed, lunch time. He sighed. He'd better go find Tezu. He headed to the school's roof. Sure enough, there he was, asleep. He nudged his side with his foot. "Hey, Tezu...wake up."

As Lunette entered the room, Akihiko's eyes narrowed into a glare and he immediately turned his gaze away from her to look out the window. He quielty sat in his desk until they were dismissed for lunch. He coughed again and gave a small sigh before walking up to the teacher quietly. "I'm sorry, but I am not feeling all that great, so I'm going to head home for the day," he said quietly before turning and leaving the classroom before the teacher could respond. He walked to his locker quietly and stepped out of his school shoes and put them in his locker, pulling out his other shoes and stepping into them and shutting his locker. He walked out of the school building quietly, heading back to the main house.
As Akihiko arrived at the house, he walked through the garden and reached the porch shortly. He stepped out of his shoes and stepped up onto the small porch and walked along it towards his room quietly, passing Masahiro's room in the process. He glanced into the room briefly as he passed, seeing Masahiro laying on his futon, obviously upset with something. Akihiko looked away and continued to his room quietly.

Masahiro watched through calm eyes, untouched by concern, as Akihiko sank to the ground. He said nothing, watching the boy struggle for breath. Didn't move when the rat collapsed, lost consciousness. For several minutes he leaned out through the window, gazing at the prone form of the boy. A sadistic sort of amusement flickered faintly in the back of his eyes. The boy clearly didn't want to be near him, didn't want to spend too much time in this house, in this estate.
But the boy didn't have a choice.
Masahiro chuckled quietly to himself as he left the window, walking back through his rooms and out into the garden. He followed the same path as Akihiko had, taking a seat on the porch beside the boy. He would wait there for Akihiko to regain consciousness.

Lunette glanced up as she felt Takyua's gaze on her. She had to admit, he was her favorite zodiac. When they were little, just after her mom tried to kill her and she was in the hospital, him and his twin where the only ones to visited her. Other then their god, who nly said it was what the cat deserved. But Takyua had been truely kind to her,or as long as she had known him. When most of the zodiacs looked at her,even if they didnt dislike her, she felt like at the very least they thought 'Stupid cat. Even if I am cursed, im better then her.' As she sat alone at her lunch table,she stared at her bracelet. The only thing that kept her from becoming a monster.

Akihiko's eyes opened slowly and he rubbed his eyes gently before he looked around at his surroundings. When he looked around, he noticed Masahiro sitting next to him. Akihiko's eyes went wide and a look of sheer terror surfaced as he shot up into a sitting position. He then reached a hand up to his head gently, getting slightly dizzy from sitting up to quickly. He looked down slightly and gave Masahiro a slight bow. "I'm sorry if I have caused you any inconvience, Masahiro-sama," he said quietly not quite over the fact that he was there when he had woken up. He positively hated it when he did that because it scared him to no ends.

Masahiro smirked slightly as he saw Akihiko's eyes opening. An instant later, that expression was there again. That look of pure terror that so amused him, and had for so many years. It was all too clear to him that he was Akihiko's greatest terror. There was a time when that might have made him sad, but he was smarter now. He knew, that was what love was for him. No zodiac would love him without first fearing him. It had been that way for Taki, it was that way for Akihiko... the others, they were coming along as well. They would all come to him eventually.
"No trouble," he answered quietly, his voice nothing more than a menacing whisper. "How are you feeling, Aki-kun?"

Akihiko continued to look down as Masahiro spoke. "I'm fine," he responded to Masahiro's question quietly. Why does he do this? Does he enjoy scaring me?....Well this is Masahiro-sama we are talking about, so it is quite possible for him to enjoy terrorizing me, he thought to himself as he let his hand drop to his side gently. "Is there anything I can do for you Masahiro-sama?" he asked quietly, wanting to get away from him if only for a little while.

"You're staring at her agian." Tezuka's words tore through Takuya's thoughts, who had been watching Lunette as she sat across the room, by herself. He quickly looked away, and couldn't help but blush as his brother laughed at him.
"You really should just say something to her." Taku looked up at Tezu, startled. "Yeah, that would go over well. And what if Masahiro found out? He'd probably kill us both." Tezu snorted. "You know, I do wonder why you fear him so much. As weak as he is you coud always fight back."
"Yeah, that went over real well for you, getting stuck in that room for a week." Dark circles appeared under Tezuka's eyes, and Takuya instantly regretted what he'd said. "Tezu..."
"Whatever. I'm outta here." Tezuka stood up roughly, and left, Takuya watching with a sad look on his face.
Tezuka made it the whole way back to the main house, noticing Akihiko sitting on the porch with Masahiro. The Rat looked really pale. Did he have another attack? Tezu wondered. As usual, Masa looked bad, and some twisted form of both angry and happy at the same time.
"You really should just say something to her." Taku looked up at Tezu, startled. "Yeah, that would go over well. And what if Masahiro found out? He'd probably kill us both." Tezu snorted. "You know, I do wonder why you fear him so much. As weak as he is you coud always fight back."
"Yeah, that went over real well for you, getting stuck in that room for a week." Dark circles appeared under Tezuka's eyes, and Takuya instantly regretted what he'd said. "Tezu..."
"Whatever. I'm outta here." Tezuka stood up roughly, and left, Takuya watching with a sad look on his face.

No, Takuya is the calm, playful one. Tezuka is the one who got hurt, not crippled. But he is playful to the tiger. Like Kisa and Hatsuharu before, ya know? You had them backwards.

Yay! We made it to post 100!!! Hurrah! Hopefully the roleplay will last alot longer than the others I've created, once we got to like 113 posts, it died...*knocks on wood* I don't want to jinx us, but Yay!!!! I'm happy to say the least.

yah but this is the first rp that's actually active that i've been in. Maybe because this fruit basket rp and fruit basket is one the best rps ever. It sooooo sweet, the perfect sweet anime.
