Iris was lying flat on her back on her bed, arms crossed, with a stack of pillows on top of her face. I'm so bored... Someone knocked on her bedroom door. "Come in" she said with a weak tone. Servant no.7 walked in and bowed in her direction. "Madam, the new servant has awoken.." "Oh is that so..." Iris replied rolling her eyes, shifting her position so she was laying on her side, not facing the servant. "Madam.. would you like me to teach the new human the basics?" Servant no.7 said. Iris gritted her teeth. If I didn't rely on his blood so much I would pound him to death.. "Listen here..no.7" she said, sitting up on her bed and dusting off imaginery dirt off her gown. "I don't take suggestions from servants.. are we clear?" she asked narrowing her eyes at him. He stepped back insecure of the situation. "Ye--yes Ma'am.." he stuttered. "Good... now go take care of your daily chores" she said waving him away. Servant no.7 left unhappily. He had a feeling this new servant would ruin everything.

Taking a deep breath he looked at himself in the mirror... and after all these years it was still amazing to see how much he had changed. He wasnt as beautiful as those monsters but he was defiantly better than most humans which gave him an edge.. . "And if you do.. i'll make your stay miserable. Won't that be fun?" this comment nearly made him laugh when he heard it only moments ago. Truly what could the little boy do that hasnt been done to him already? Pausing he stood and moved over to the perfume left for him, pausing he bit down on his wrist drawing blood, moving quickly he unscrewed the perfume bottle and let a few drops of blood fall in. He shook the bottle and the once clear liquid became a light pink. He had always done this, it gave him the light hint of a blood smell. It always caused vampires to be more attracted to him than usually, and he wagered with the new madams blood lust it would work doubly well.
At last he was finished with his preparations, he left the room and followed the path he head lark take and came upon a rather large door to which he assumed was the madams. He was unsure of what exactly she wished him to do around the mansion so he gently rapped on the door. He had faced rougher, sinister, and more beautiful vampires... yet why did he feel apprehensive about seeing her?.. he pushed the thought down and waited to be told to come in or go away.

He grinned and let go, almost throwing her off of the wall. He looked at her. His grin could tell anyone how satisfied he was with his new toy. "Ok, clean this room, the kitchen and the dining room by morning." He said walking towards her. "I want it spotless, my little Swine." He chuckled, waiting for her to say, 'yes master' or something similar.
He walked back towards the door. "I will be back in oh... about ten minutes. Im getting hungry." He said, looking at his diamond-gold watch. He walked out of the room and down the hall, closing the door behind him. He walked down the steps towards the entrance and grabbed some dark and thick colored robe and put it on him with some sunglasses. He walked outside and into a small maze-like garden.
Another man, telling if he was human or not was diffulcult. Though, he had the similar scent to a vampire, but looked human. The man opened the door to a gigantic garden house like. Inside, was about fifty degrees and almost dark. As soon as he took off the sunglasses and robe, the only thing that was visable was his eyes. He smirked as the man came inside as well, walking to the right of Izaya.
"Let her go." He said, locking the door. The man disapeered and all was heard was screaming before Izaya disapeered into the darkness of the garden house. One thing he had never listen to his mother about, was playing with his food.

He boredly read from it, glancing out the window a few times as rain fell from the gray skies. Was it regret he had in his stomach? He never had regret but for some reason he did have it now. He sighed; not really caring where Johnson was as he flipped another page and kept reading.

She looked at him as he walked back out the door. She got up and raced through the door. She stretched and looked around. She started to walk towards the small kitchen area. She wondered something and then shrugged it off. "He said feel free..." She said to herself in a small tone. She walked towards the refrigerator and grabbed the milk. She looked around the kitchen.
"Now, where is the cups..." She said looking around. A small feeling told her to go back and apologize, but it was too small for her to even noticce it.

Lucas had taken her to the door opposite to the entrance, opening it, it revealed a small corridor leading to a big stairway upwards. The banister rail in the middle, surrounding the sole column, was made out of gleaming gold. A thick red carpet covered each step upward. The wall to the left was filled with small lights every few feet, though not shining as brightly as the ones behind them. On their way up, they circled the column and stood in front of another door. On the way to the door, you notice an uneven line of blood occasionally on both sides at the base of the wall, as if someone bleeding had been dragged upwards, maybe more than once. Lucas opened the door to another corridor, extending to both sides. Before he switched on the light, you could see light shine through beneath the door in front of you. Lucas waited for her to step into the corridor, before he spoke, placing himself behind her to turn her in the direction he was pointing with his finger, while speaking.
"This room is mine... mine, not yours, no... you may only enter when I invite you. yes? ... These three are for the guests, but not you... you are no guest here, you live here... until you meet your end, little Emily..."
Lucas said those words with a insane giggling until calming down a little again. He had first pointed to the first room to the right, the whole frame of the of the door was covered by the dark red remains of blood, as was the ground beneath. A bloody imprint of a hand could be found at the wall next to the door, but it seemed like it had been blurred towards the room. Than he had pointed at the three other doors in the corridor, from what you could say they were huge for a single room, as was the room of Lucas. The doors were as richly decorated as those on the ground floor. Lucas had turned his servant to the other side by her shoulders, taking a moment to swallow while staring at her neck. As he regained his calm, he continued by pointing to the door next to them on the left, than the one opposite to this and finally the one at this end of the corridor, ignoring the door opposite of them. The sight of the blood was obviously working on him, as it seemed harder for him to keep his instincts under control.
"This... yes, what was this for... mh... oh, yes, you may reach the attic from there. You will need to clean it... lots of unnecessary stuff up there ... oh, this is the lounge... nice room... nice, nice, but boring it is... The last room is full of books, books about everything... I know them all, yes I do... some are interesting, some are not. You have to order them... a little messy it had become there, it has..."
He gave Emily a moment to to memorize each of the rooms, while returning to stare at the pulsing vein at her neck. The thin cut had stopped bleeding already, but there was still this blood remaining, the skin beneath that soft it could tear by the slightest stress. Lucas opened his mouth slightly, his pearl white teeth would come into sight, the sharp fangs of a vampire alongside. His eyes slightly started to gleam red at the thought, hid behind his contacts, it was not that visible yet. Lucas stopped himself, wouldn't it be for the wrath of his uncle he feared, Emily could already have been dead. He, or better his more sane self, knew that he had to be under complete control of himself to not drain her to the last drop. He returned to stand straight up, closing his mouth.
"Mh... let's go downward, you can look around the rooms later."
He would pull her downstairs again, to one of the three large doors. As soon as he pressed the unimposing place on the wall, that seemed to be a switch, the whole room was filled by a soft orange-golden light. It revealed a huge room even larger than the hall before, you would guess it was covering nearly a third of the whole ground floor and even the first floor as you would guess from the high. It was easily 300 feet in length and 250 in width. The entire ceiling was covered by a giant painting, showing some sort of festivity, the gleaming light seemed to come from within the painting, places that would otherwise be not as notable. The gust of wind that the opening of the door had produced swirled above the floor, caring the dust along. A large door made out of black-painted oak would surely lead you to another exit, sadly Lucas stood just in the way. The walls of the room were covered with expansive paintings, though barely recognize able through the layers of dust. Golden Statures, ornamented with various jewels, showing figures of seemingly nobility and glory lined up on the long wall opposite to the doors, like the paintings they looked like they could need some care. The floor itself was obviously made out of marble, aside from the dust it seemed untouched by the time. Only another door that had to lead to another corridor behind the stairway, left the large room. After some time Lucas stepped close to his servant again.
He took her back into the entrance hall and towards the other door. They obviously arrived in the dinning room. The room was dominated by a massive onyx table in the middle. Along the table were thirty-two chairs, but there was enough space to add a few more, if needed. Like the large ball room before, there were a lot of paintings along the walls, mostly showing obviously family members. Two large cupboards stood close to the wall, they were filled with crystalline cups and other expansive dishes. One wall was filled by a lot of windows, that were colored black like any other. On the table stood a silver cup, a few remaining drops of blood were still within. The lights at the wall offered enough illumination for the room, but from the amount of candles on the table you could guess that they usually serve as main source of light. A door to the right led to another corridor as they stepped through. This one didn't look as costly as the other rooms and corridors. At the back of the corridor were five doors, each looking massive, but plain. Lucas opened the first door to the left. The room behind revealed four simple wooden beds, four chests, a small table with stools close to them. Aside from it, it was empty, if you didn't count the amount of blood, that had dried on the floor, in. Lucas looked at her, standing in front of her for a moment, before speaking again. It seemed the sight of the blood didn't bother him to much.
"This is your room... You look hungry... mh... seems so. Will you join me for brunch, yes?... We have everything... Everything? Yes, I think... for your human methods for the intake of food... you have to stay healthy... yes you do. Make yourself something to eat... you do do something to the poor things you eat before doing so... you humans are so evil... Don't worry... I will wait... I will... Come let me show you the kitchen..."
Without waiting for her to adjust to her new room, Lucas pushed her into the door close to the entrance of this corridor. It revealed that this was the kitchen. It was at well equipped as those of the best restaurants, even though it looked a little old and unused. It seemed like there was once food prepared for the most illusive guests of the house, but since the Outbreak, it had only been used for the servants to make their own food. In the past few days the fridge became the only thing used to store blood, conserved to serve as the fast food for the vampires. Now the two large fridges were filled by about anything the human servants would eat, Lucas' uncle made sure for that. Lucas would place himself on a table in the middle of the room and watch Emily preparing her food. He had never seen how human make their meals, but now he had nothing else to do.

"I agree, if you have no problem that I will dine with you. I have always been interested in the way how humans eat... It's fascinating what different things fit into such an undeveloped body as you have. Take what you want with you and we are ready to go. Believe me, you don't want to be out there alone."
Lucas had remained close while he spoke, threatening her with his cold eyes. As he finished, he stepped away to the door, offering her to lead the way. Maybe it was just that he wanted to see how she would find her way through the night. The more you know of your prey, the easier it was to stalk it. Humans had never proofed challenging for that matter, but he was interested to see if she could surprise him.

Emily heard something below her and to the right. A brief flash of movement...on all four limbs. Emily was actually starting to wish that the vampire she called Master was nearby. Another flash, closer this time. Then two more, simoulntaneously, and 10 feet apart. Either it was moving really fast, or she was looking at multiple creatures. Then more flashes.
The first creature flew at Emily from behind. She couldn't react until it had passed by. She drew Rhinestone as the second creature flew at her from the side. She cut blindly, hitting wood. A third creature hit her squarely in the back. She fell 10 feet and landed on her back. The wind was knocked out of her. She stood up just as a fourth creature knocked her back down, pinning her underneath its weight.
Emily could clearly see that some sort of wolf-type creature. It had black fur, and its teeth gleamed white. It reeked of decayed flesh, and its eyes were emeralds. It was easily 5 feet tall. But that was all she could make out before she blacked out. But she blacked out because she had involuntarily released a burst of psionic energy. The wolf, which easily weighed 250 lbs, was thrown 50 feet, through multiple trees, before crashing into a boulder, kiling it instantly. That same burst also caused a nearby tree to crash down onto Emily's legs with enough force to shatter bone. If Emily hadn't been used to such forces, she would have been crippled, and sucked dry.

Gently he pushed the door open and stepped in gingerly. She was hugging herself on the bed, so he assumed it was nightmares, truthfully he didn’t know the monsters could have dreams… but then again even dogs had dreams so it was plausible. He was about to ask was she ok but than thought about it. Did he even want to know? Given her reactions earlier, and her habit of getting angry of reasons that he couldn’t quite make out; he decided it wasn’t the wisest thing to do.
Speaking softly to not spook or anger her he asked “Madam, I am sorry to disturb you, but what exactly is my duty here?” it was a common question. She had purchased him but had never assigned him to a job or even told him why.

He walked into the woods, sighing slightly as he tossed the bones into a bush and then walked to a tree to see the claw marks from a wolf's foot resting within the dark bark and he tilted his head. He always wondered how a wolf would react if he approached them. Would they run or stand their ground? Most animals ran. But he couldn't help but be curious.

She looked through the cupboards, keeping the doors open, not bothering to close the cupboard-doors. When she found it, she reached up onto her tippy-toes, since it was too high for her, and tried to grab it. Only her finger tips could touch it. She slid the glass cup towards the right, more right, more right...
The next thing she knew, was that the cup was flying down. "SHIT!" She screamed as she barely cought the cup. It shattered into her hand from the force she pushed it. She instantly dropped it and looked at her bleeding hand, which had glass in it. "Shit, shit shit..." She whispered and running towards the sink. She turned the water on, making bloody hand prints on the knob.
She raced her hands under the water, wincing at the pain when she picked out the glass off of her hand. But I warn you I'm not the only vampire in his household. His voice appeared into her head, over and over, it quoted the words. She became even more scared and began to rush herself, picking out the glass less carefully and more faster.

“I was unsure Madam, how to answer your Abilities question so instead I recounted my lists of previous assignments under previous Masters. I will serve you in any manner you wish me too, if I cannot do it: I shall learn” He paused wondering if that was the answer she wished, as truly he had never been asked that before as most of his previous masters had simply assigned him with a job and expected him to learn which he did.

As soon as they were outside the safety of the building's walls, Lucas sensed them. They were following the two, but did not dare to move closer towards their vampire master, until allowed to. It was the fear of a superior beast that kept them at bay. As soon as they were within the forest area, the two parted. Lucas went to gather some wood at the small opening within the middle of the forest, while Emily looked for something edible for herself. It took the vampire not even a second to gather some dry woods and start a small, slowly growing fire. During the time, he whistled silently, a sound not audible for humans, but vampires and many animals had no problems. While Lucas now sat himself in a tree close to hers, he could see the wolves circle her tree. There were three as of now, but the vampire knew that there lived far more in the woods.
He enjoyed to see her trying to fight the wolves her knife. Few humans stood a chance against one of these strong beast, say alone a pack. Just as one of them slammed her down, Lucas had crawled closer, jumping over to the tree she was at before. Than just as the wolf was close to enjoying the fresh meat for a change, he got blasted away from her. The force of this strange burst hushed through the leaves and trees, breaking the base of the one next to the young girl. With a loud smashing sound you could hear the corpse of the dead wolf hit the rocks nearby, while the tree started to fall on the human. Her way of fighting of the wolf was interesting for Lucas, at least enough to get studied. He watched the other beasts closing in on her, she obviously had no chance to escape. Not only was she trapped beneath the large tree, but also knocked unconscious. Lucas jumped from the tree next to her, the wolves that were about to come closer immediately stopped. With a look of his eyes, they knew that they should better leave this prey to him, or else face his wrath. As the wolves backed away back into the depths of the forest, Lucas just cut through the tree that laid on his servant, breaking it in two. He dragged her out beneath the tree, holding it up a bit, not bothering to be gentle or carefully if she would get hurt.
He took her with him to the fire, placing her on the ground next to the campfire. He quickly checked her, to see if anything was broken. Servants with broken limbs were useless, they needed to much care to be worth the blood they could provide. Luckily, she had only a few minor wound, such that would heal even on the human's weak body. Now that she would loose the blood anyways, Lucas could afford to feast upon her now, it would kill her without doubt. He sat himself next to her, his eyes gleaming red, his pale body only slightly illuminated by the fire. She was indeed interesting, maybe he would invest more time than he had planned into her.

“I was unsure Madam, how to answer your Abilities question so instead I recounted my lists of previous assignments under previous Masters. I will serve you in any manner you wish me too, if I cannot do it: I shall learn” "Good answer" she admitted. "Though I wasn't asking for your previous assignments..more on your strengths and weaknesses" she said looking at her nails before glancing at him. Of course he couldn't have known but Iris had this attitude..she expected her servants to know what she was referring to as if they could read her mind. "But not a good enough answer" she concluded glaring. "Don't do that again" she warned. How was he not to do that again? Well that was his problem not hers. Yes that was Iris.
Maybe I should give him the 'grand tour'.. She smirked with an idea in mind of how to make him useful.

He stood in front of her chair, she had not motioned for him to sit so he would not; he did not waste his rage on meaningless small fights: if he did he would not have made it as far as he has, which truly given the aspect of the warped world he had not gone far enough. He nodded his head moderately surprised she had complimented him, or at least his answer which was an indirect compliment. "Though I wasn't asking for your previous assignments..more on your strengths and weaknesses" He still was unsure how he was exactly going to answer that question when it came out of the blue... but little matter he would have to think of an answer fast.
He paused thinking it over when he heard "Don't do that again" now that was just uncalled for and unreasonable. How was he supposed to understand everything about this monster? Well he would have to do his best he supposed "I am good at mathematics, have an advanced reading level, am decent with blades and guns, and I will do what I must to survive those are my strengths... my weakness I have low people skills." He stopped and looked at the monster sitting in the chair, pretending to be a girl... revolting but he would wait to see what his new... career would be.

She ignored her servant's presence and focused on her own selfish desires. Vampire gambling... let's see... She sat up, looking down at her lap for a second then grabbed the newspaper beside her, waving it in her servant's face. "You better have been telling the truth..otherwise if anyone.. you're going to suffer the consequences" she advised, patting the opposite palm of her hand with the end of the rolled up newspaper as she started walking out of the room expecting the servant to follow.
"I have been wanting to vampire gamble for quite some time.." she reasoned with herself out loud, trying to convince that this plan was worthwhile. She lead them to a fake wall and pulled a hidden lever with her free hand as she was still clutching the newspaper. The fake wall slid to the side revealing an elevator. She stepped into the elevator, pushing a strand of hair behind her earlobe. "Hurry up, I don't have all day and night to waste explaining things to you" she said.

Sighing heavily, he took a seat on the ground, crossing his legs and trying not to make eye contact. "Yeah, it's me. Listen, I, uh.... I wanted to apologize for what happened earlier. I shouldn't have invaded your privacy like that." He mustered a small smile, despite the fact that his mind was currently screaming bloody murder at him for being so stupid as to try and be nice to a bloodsucker. He could ignore that for now. "If it's any consolation.... I thought you were really good."
The teen blinked, trying to hide his surprise and ultimately failing. She wanted to know his name? That was more than a but unexpected. Most masters could care less what their slaves wanted to be addressed by, some even choosing new names for them like one would a cat or a dog. Still, as long as she was asking, he figured there was no harm in telling her. "James. My name's James Mason." He supposed the last name wasn't all that important, considering no one is his family was still living. It was nice to remember, though. To keep in mind that he did in fact have a family at one point.

She blew her hair out of her eyes and turned slightly to Lucian. "Servant no. 1 this is... " she paused. She wasn't sure what to call the human in the jail cell. "Well someone you'll need to know" she stated folding her arms turning back to the prisoned human. "I'm going to need you soon" she said to him. His eyes sparkled with delight. "Thankyou madam..thankyou" "For vampire gambling" she finished. The human's spirits lowered. She glanced at servant no. 1 and explained. "That man will be our.." she paused. Did I just say 'our'? She shook her head snapping out of her thoughts. "MY entry for the latest vampire gambling tournament" she continued. "He used to be one of my servants but.. he tried to escape and well.." she gestured to the cell. "Look how that turned out" she said. "It is true.. I have upset my madam" the imprisoned human said. "She has been kind to me but I ran.. and was almost eaten alive..." Iris twitched at the word 'kind'. She gave servant no.1 a serious look. "I have invited the other entries to dine with us tonight.. you will be the musician for this occassion" She turned to the caged human. "And you will remain here until it is time. She sighed to both humans. "While we are dining, we must keep our ears open for important information..tips..slip ups.. anything that will ensure we win this bet". She said, determination showing in her fiery eyes.
She shook her head. "I mean to ensure I win this bet.." Why did I say 'we' again grr.

"speak" He opened his mouth in confusion but heard the faint sound of bars being gripped, and the shuffling of feet "Madam.. you have returned" the voice sounded tired, and... beat down. He was surprised to hear that, although he couldn't see who was speaking. He listened quietly as the Madam introduced the man in the cell... although she gave not a name so he assumed this caged man was the last servant no. 1. "This man will be OUR.." he heard the word our and turned his head in her direction, what was that? "My.." aww she corrected herself, the better he would never send someone to fight in the Pitts.. not even his worst enemy. He almost jumped with happiness when he heard he was to be a musician and not a fighter, he did not envy the man in the cell. He was about to voice his concern, becuase there was a high chance he would be noticed and remembered by the guest from his previous bouts in the pitts, but decided against it.
"anything that will ensure WE win this bet" again his ears perked.. why did she continue to say we, this was not a group this was simply her will. He didnt have to wait long until she corrected herself, and although he couldnt see the Madam he bowed in the dark at where he was sure she was "Of course, I will ensure you have victory madam... even If I must crawl into the pitts myself" although he had no intention of doing that; it was more for the flattering edge than anything.
