Adrian growled at the slow pace her pack was traveling through the thick bush that surrounded the Royal Moon Pack Kingdom. It was in the middle of the mountain's and even in wolf form it was hard to travel there, but that's one of the reason's why they put it there. Adrian looked up, the tree top's were thick and let barely any sun shine through their branches but the small rays of light that did make it through reflected off Adrian's pure white coat making it shine almost as silver as her eyes. Small creature's scurried around her paw's trying to escape the presence of the giant wolves that now roamed their peaceful forest, Adrian gave herself a wolfly grin. She was proud of her wolf form, she was beautiful with snow white fur that shone silver in the sun, bright silver eyes that looked like two big full moon's and her 5'10" tall athletic wolf body. Of course she wasn't as big as the males of her group who were muscular and had to be around 6 to 7 feet taller but she was still proud, she was one of the bigger female's in the pack.

She huffed again though as they reached the giants of the castle. Adrian didnt want to meet her mate, she was scared he would reject her or that when they did mate that he would die and she would become heart broken and crazy. She never wanted that to happen and thats one of the reason's why she never's dates. The only males she hangs around are her friend's and they know Adrian 'no dating guys' rule she they never flirt with her. Adrian looked up at the castle, it was so huge and grand yet amazing.

'shift' her Alpha ordered through the pack mind-link and the whole pack followed. No one in the pack cared that they were naked in front of each other, the only one's that minded were the possessive male's that already had mates, they didnt want any other man seeing what was their's. Adrian rolled her eyes and shifted into her human the grabbed clothes out of her backpack which was hanging from her mouth just a few seconds ago. She changed into her undergarments, a pair of light jean short shorts, a white tank -top, a black leather jacket and a pair of combat boots. By the time she was done so was everyone else and they entered the caste walls.

"Pack Name" a dirt blonde haired boy asked at the gate. He had dark blue eye's and was cute with a boyish face. Adrian could sense his Beta power from here meaning he was a very powerful Beta.

"Ocean Moon Pack" our Alpha said
"Nice to have you, I'm Tyler River's the Royal King Alpha's Beta" the boy,Tyler smiled wide and toothy at our pack-mates then let them in. They were the last pack there, Adrian could already see all the Pack's in there own little groups. Adrian growled along with the rest of her pack when they saw the Shadow Moon Pack who turned towards them and snarled back. Adrian and her Pack lined up in their spot as the Alpha King, Lucas Black stood in front on a small stage. He was gorgeous to say the least, super taller and really easy on the eyes. Adrian could feel her wolf start to stir, her emotions pushing Adrian towards the King.

'stop that!' Adrian growled at her wolf
'no' her wolf snarled back but Adrian attention was once again drawn back to the god in front of her as he began to speak.

Before having to go out and greet the visiting wolf packs, Lucas had asked to be alone. "Artemis, you've made some pretty stupid rules but this one is by far the stupidest!" He growled. Having to get a mate before taking the thrown was not what he wanted to do, "A mate would only get in the way. I need to stay clear headed, on slip could be the end of us." he continued to monolog. In the middle of his speech one of the helpers came in, "Ummm, sir?" the helper asked awkwardly. "Huh? Oh! uuummm how much did you hear?" Lucas coughed nervously. "Only as much as you wanted me to hear." the helper bowed, "It's time to make an appearance." Lucas then thanked the helper, straightening his tie. Lucas wore a black blaze with a white button up shirt, and black pants. Running his hand through his soft brown hair, he stepped out onto the small stage. There were so many people waiting for him to speak, luckily years of public speaking had made it so he was almost comfortable doing it. Looking around something caught his eye, a girl. The wolf inside of him wanted to jump off the stage and run to her, but he with held fighting the instinct. " This is what i was talking about, Artemis!" Her green eyes shone like beacons right in his direction. He needed to make this quick, "Welcome my brother and sisters! To our annual ceremony, thanks to Artemis that we have this opportunity to find our other half's. So lets hope she picked out a pretty one." he made a slight joke that got enough chuckles that it wasn't awkward. Lucas wanted to run and hide but his body wouldn't let him, instead it made him jump from the fairly tall stage and start walking through the crowd. He stopped to talk with people, who acted polite enough, it was the response he was use to no one would dare say what they really thought. Today, in the moment it didn't bother him as much for the pure reason, his mind wasn't on them it was on the girl whose hair was as bright and pure as gold, in his mind that beautiful color would put the sun to shame.

Adrian's wolf was howling loudly in her head, the closer he came the more she howled.
'NO SHUT UP!!' Adrian growled at her other half and forcefully turned away from the boy and started storming away.
'OK, no you are mistaken he's the King not our mate!' Adrian yelled at herself
'he's our mate didn't you feel the pull?' her wolf cried out and Adrian rolled her eyes
'no' she lied. Of course she felt the pull but when he looked at her he had a face that clearly stated he didn't want her.
'not like i care' Adrian snapped to herself.
Dammit she hasn't even met the guy yet she is already fighting her wolf, but he is the Alpha King the mate pull would be the strongest with him. No she's not his mate! he's already got shit loads of fan girls he doesn't need another one. Her wolf whimpered very step she took away from the King while Adrian chanted in her head 'not my mate, not my mate, not my mate'
She couldn't be his mate, she was a hunter not a Luna.

When she walked away Lucas felt his heart jerk, "She's pretty." the wolf inside said, "Come on this is the reason we have gathered for and you won't be able to take the thrown until you have a mate." it continued to coax. "Fine, we'll go and talk to her then you'll have to shut it because she is not my mate!" Lucas growled inwardly. Instead of going directly after her, Lucas managed to distract himself by talking to those around him. Many girls came up, hope in their eyes that he was their mate many left with annoyed and even angry expressions. Luckily Tyler came up soon after, "Tyler, have any luck so far?" he welcomed his best friend who was wearing the same goofy grin he always had at this time of year.

Pangs of jealousy struck Adrian's heart as she watched girl after girl walk up to Lucas and flirt with him. Her instinct's told her to rip all those girls heads off but her logical human brain told her otherwise.
Then she saw his Beta, Tyler walk up to him, her voice trained on their conversation.
"Not yet man but there's this hot blonde chick with blue's eyes i just cant take my eyes off and i don't know man.....but then's there's this other chick also blonde but she got these big emerald green eye's and wow she's hot i think her name is...Adrian ya Adrian Hunter she right.....there" Tyler stated happily and pointed at Adrian who instantly stiffened and turned away from them.

"HEY! Adrian!" Tyler shouted and ran over to her wrapping his arm around her waist. Adrian cringed away but didn't push him, he seemed friendly enough and the wrap seemed innocence enough. She smiled up at him and he pushed her through the crowd until they were back in front of Lucas. Adrian kept her eye's down casted from her's, as long as she didn't look into his eyes a connect wouldn't form but his heavenly scent of spice's and rain water traveled into her sense's and a shiver of pleasure ran up her spine.
'fuck!' Adrian swore to herself and tried to take a step back but the arm around her waist wouldn't let her.

"Adrian his is Lucas, King Alpha and my best friend" Tyler smiled widely and Adrian glared up at him. He is the one who had put her in this situation. She growled lowly at him.

Hanley ran with her pack through the forest, the canopy was thick and blocked most sunlight, the light that remained unblocked fell through the canopy like golden waterfalls. Despite their pack being the smallest of all known packs, the Forest Moon pack still made an entrance, their paws hitting the ground created a thunderous noise and their swift pace created a wind that blew the trees.

Hanley kept a watchful eye on her surroundings, the meeting place for the mating was secluded and difficult to reach but she wouldn't be surprised if some uncanny, evil force had found a way to locate it and cause havoc. She kept her thoughts to herself and slowed with the Alpha. They all shifted and Hanley fed a hand into a backpack she had been carrying round her neck.
Everyone was naked, it didn't bother most but it left Hanley feeling vulnerable. She got dressed quickly in a loose, thin grey vest and a pair of brown shorts. She then tossed her thick curly hair back and clipped a percentage of it up to keep it from snagging on things. When ready everyone entered the kingdom and joined the party.

Hanley's eyes were immediantly drawn to the Alpha King for obvious reasons, he was handsome, strong and incredibaly large. He was a sight to behold for any female, her silver eyes studied him for a moment before she shot him a small smile and turned her attention back to her pack Alpha. She kept close to her Alpha, she felt they had a connection Hanley wanted to protect her despite being younger.

They contrasted dramatically, Hanley's skin being a dirty bronze and hers being a creamy pale. She caught others looking and tried her best not to bare her teeth.

"Play nice, this is an important ceremony" her wolf whispered to her.
"This is nice" Hanley muttered back and said nothing more. She didn't want to think about the ceremony. She didn't need a mate.

There had been several times that Lucas had wanted to kill Tyler but right now he might just do that. Lucas had no control of his body now, some male was touching her! It only made it worse that she smelled like lavender mixed with the smell of morning dew, "Tyler, release her now!" he said a little too angrily but covered with, "We need to go talk to some of the others, now!" Before he could find the will to move, Lucas made the mistake of looking at her face. It look soft and it's delicate features, like an angel had formed it by hand."She's pretty" his inner wolf said once more, "Shut up! we don't have time for pretty." Tyler growled to himself. He grabbed Tyler by the arm and strode away before his friend could comment. Not paying attention Lucas accidentally ran into a young female with thick curly, " My apologize!" Lucas said grabbing her by the arm to keep her from falling.

Hanley was too busy watching her Alpha to spot the on coming collision. Someone large ran into her and knocked her sideways, the same individual grabbed her arm to prevent her falling. Hanley balanced herself and then yanked her arm violently from the hand that held it before she even registered who the individual was.

Her silver eyes darted to the face of a male wolf and she realised quite suddenly (and with embarrassment) that it was the Alpha King. She glanced around to see if anyone had noticed the small commotion before forcing herself to appear relaxed. The sudden contact had given her body a shot of adrenaline, her muscles were tense and her breath hoarse. She tucked a long wild ringlet behind her ear and entwined her little hands together awkwardly.

"Respect! Respect the Alpha King" her wolf urged her hastily.
"No my apology's Alpha" Hanley murmured before bowing awkwardly. Her heart raced in the company of the two towering Alpha's (Lucas and Tyler) and made her wolf and body do strange things that she didn't agree with. She felt tiny beside them both and looked it too. She wished for male from her own pack to be closer so they could protect her from them.

Jessica didn't even think twice about changing into regular clothes. The second she was ordered to change back into human form, she hurried to pull out the clothes she placed in her bag. She put on her undergarments quickly before sliding on the rest of her outfit. It consisted of a pair of low-rise black skinny jeans that revealed the tops of her tattoo, a long-sleeved dark red blouse with a deep V that revealed a tasteful amount of cleavage and showed the small expanse of skin between her tummy and the top of her jeans, and a pair of black combat boots. It was a reasonable attire and her shirt brought out the natural flush of her fair skin. She didn't even feel like bothering with her hair and just ran her fingers through the silky locks.

As she finished dressing, Jess glanced over at her Alpha before having to avert her eyes. His gaze had been smoldering and she could feel him drilling holes into the back of her head with those eyes. Her heart began racing as she blatantly chose to ignore him, distracting herself with staring at the members of different packs. A low, threatening snarl escaped her lips as she glanced at the Ocean Pack and Jess huffed, tossing her hair over her shoulder at them.

Mate, her wolf exclaimed and willed Jess to approach Renier. And good God, he did look amazing...she was pondering whether or not he should be wearing clothes in the first place. It wouldn't hurt anyone. But she refused.

No, he's not, she told her wolf forcefully, not truly believing herself. There was a stir inside of her that she had noticed on their journey here, but Jess had ignored her, wanting to simply get to their location and get this socializing thing over with. Besides, there was no way her Alpha was her mate. It was impossible.

So, Jess immersed herself completely in the crowd, being the natural-born social butterfly that she was. Ignoring the slight pain that filled her soul as she put distance between herself and Renier, even as she watched a few other girls make their way over to him...wait, what? A sudden flare of intense, unreasonable jealousy flooded Jessica's system and she had to fight the urge not to rip the hair from those whores' heads, not to tear their throats out.

Down girl, she told her wolf. He's not ours...at least, I don't think. She thought that last part quietly, hoping her wolf didn't hear her. But it did and the wolf did not let up.

Mine. Mine. Mine. Mine. Mine. Was the new chant and Jess seriously wished she had something to drown herself out.

Getting here was a problem for Sabrina Boyd, the air was damp and wet and she hated the smell of morning dew. Arriving was another issue, the constant flirting and affection of the most idiotic girls she'd ever seen made her want to ripe her hair out but of course her auburn hair was too precious. Sabrina growled with frustration she couldn't help but stare at them, mingling and attacking like they were lovestruck. Sabrina nibbled her lower lip in boredom, she didn't want to seem desperate but she could really use someone to talk to. It was awfully boring just standing their so Sabrina had decided to spark up a conversation with some people. It was odd for her, you know making friends trying to be nice. Maybe she had gone mad, trying to make friends in an evil world. She was even reluctant to come to this 'celebration' no man or wolf was capable of handling a fireball like her much less anyone her.


Sabrina shifted uncomfortable, she hated just standing there with nothing to do, she should be hunting game at the moment but noo her leader wants her to be all dressy for some stupid event that paired up the oddest couples in the world. Sabrina's growled, unlike most Lycans her and her inner wolf personalities had morphed into one. Maybe it was a reason she was so dangerous then again she was born a vindictive little bitch.

Anne woke up feeling strangely homesick, the sun was at its brightest, and nothing seemed better than to go out running in her wolf self to clear up her troubled mind. Anne could remember seeing her mother smiling at her, encouraging her to come over before dinner turned cold, of course that was when her mother was able to cook, and before she feel badly ill. “Strange” Anne said to herself, “it’s been a while since I last daydreamed of my mother”, she suddenly let out a smile realizing how fast time passes. It seemed as if it had only been a matter of days when she was playing hide-and-seek with her older brother, while her mother yelled, “dinner is ready!”. Anne left out a small sight and after a lot of thought she also remembered it had been a while since she last felt like this, missing her family had not been in her mind, mostly because she had already found a new family she could lean on, her pack, the Shadow Moon Pack to be exact. She thought of her mother and what she would thing is she had seen her becoming the pack’s doctor. “she would be proud” her inner wolf said, a small tear made Anne ayes blurry, “and…” after a long pause the voice continued, “she wouldn’t want you to be said, plus she would encourage you to wear something pretty for today” her inner voice added, and to this Anne laughed for a moment, her mother was indeed always worrying about formalities, and always trying to look her best for big events, after all she was always a beautiful lady, she didn’t have to try very hard to begin with.

Today was the day the pack would go to the meeting place to find their mates, to find their “destined mates” as some would say. Anne laughed once again, the idea of a predestined mate made her stomach sick, and almost seemed like a joke to her, she didn’t actually believe any of it, “I would have to see it to believe it” she whispered to herself. Anne rushed back to her pack, she knew they would be waiting, it was not like they were late for the event but instead because her pack always wanted to be the first ones to arrive-always being competitive against other packs and all- besides they needed to move quickly because it wasn’t an easy travel, they needed to get early to get an advantage. Indeed, it was quite hard to get to the meeting place, “what did you expect Anne?” she asked herself, after all it was a royal ground, it isn’t like just anybody would be able to reach such fancy place. Since she was already in wolf form she didn’t have to change or anything, instead she remained as a wolf. Anne’s wolf was stunning, while changing her form to that of a wolf she remained some of her beautiful human features, such as her beautiful red hair, however, the color of her eyes changed from blue-green to an extremely light born, her height was that of 5’8” she wasn’t particularly the biggest wolf around.

The pack moved quickly only resting when told to, and before finally arriving at the meeting place, they had to change quickly, Anne rapidly changed to her human form; she didn’t mind being seen naked specially in front of her pack, but she felt uncomfortable specially now that they were supposed to find mates, she changed rapidly to something she was used to, she first changed her undergarments, then put on a black tank top with a pair of black jeans that shaped her figure perfectly, “perfect” she said to herself, “your mother would disagree” said her inner wolf, and Anne laughed once again, and once again she was absorbed in her thoughts.

They finally reached the castle and Anne was at awe, she wasn’t used to seeing such fancy places. After a pretty blonde boy with a boyish face asked the leader the name of the pack, they were able to enter the castle. Everyone waited for the rest of the packs to arrive, and the Ocean Moon were the last ones to arrive, “as expected” Anne said as she smiled in contempt, and she let out a mocking grin that she couldn’t hide. After that one of the royals gave a speech, and everything afterwards was simply annoying to Anne, all of the girls being over the royals was something Anne could simply not understand, Anne would rather stay home reading a book, but they had to attend the meeting, “Ugh!”. Anne decided it was best to be friendly and try to meet other wolves, but before anything she turned to Sabrina who looked just as annoyed as her, “guess we have to be friendly, and meet a dreamy wolf huh?” she said sarcastically.

Adrian couldnt take it, all the female attention her mate was getting was driving her crazy, not only that but he seemed like he didn't want her and one of her greatest fears. To be rejected and that's why she's never wanted a mate cause she somehow knew he wouldnt want her. Her eyes glistened with oncoming tears as her wolf whimpered, knowing the same thing Adrian did. Adrian turned away from the sight of her mate and bumped into a hard chest.
"sorry" she said stoically and looked up at the man. He was around 6'2" and was a bit older then the rest here.

"well dont you look tasty" he purred as he wiped a escaped tear from Adrian cheek. She slapped his hand away and growled at him.
"oh feisty ha? well good thing for you i like feisty" he purred and lifted her over his shoulder.

"PUT ME DOWN!" Adrian snarled, kicking him but it did no good. He went up to around blonde girl, Adrian Beta and through her over his other shoulder. She squeaked in surprise. Adrian could see he was heading for the castle to go inside but he stopped by a group of guys laughing.

"Hey guys looky what i got here a hot threesome" the man laughed along with his friends and Adrian growled. She's a virgin for goodness sakes!
"i dont fucking think so you bastard!" Adrian snarled, her wolf getting more pissed off the more this man held her. She tried to kick where the sun dont shine but he grabbed her ankle, squeaked it hard then smacked her ass hard enough for it to sting. She whimpered ore from the squeezing almost breaking force on her ankle.

"be good you little bitch" the man snarled and continued walking.

"dude what the hell! that hurts! i was just showing you the hot girl i was talking about dont hate me" Tyler whimpered and struggled out of Lucas's tight grip. When he finally got free then area was bright red, swore and swollen.
"seriously look what you did!" Tyler scolded him as the ran into a cute female with dark curly hair. Tyler went right to work.

"well hey there pretty lady how are you doing?" Tyler grinned down at her but his attention was brought somewhere else as he heard an angry female snarl, he turned around to see Adrian being carried off by some weirdo and she didnt look to happy.

"shit dude your Alpha King authority is needed" Tyler said to Lucas and turned him towards the scene. The man picked up another blonde girl and anger spiked in Tyler.

'what the hell?' he thought to himself as his wolf got madder and madder. He felt protective of Adrian but he felt possessive and over-protective of the other blonde girl and it made him growl lowly in the back of his throat.

-some older man's loss their mates but instead of going crazy they become super aggressive and think they can have any girl they want.
-All members of a pack feel protective of their Luna even if they don't know she is their Luna.
-most higher up wolves are very possessive and over-protective of their mates.

Hanley's spine crawled as the large wolf accompanying the Alpha king tossed her a few lines. She opened her mouth to tell him exactly how she was doing, which wasn't going to be pretty, when something diverted their attention. A little, honey blonde wolf was being man-handled by one of the older, more aggressive wolves that were known around the packs. She looked distressed and helpless. Quite a few eyes diverted to the Alpha King in expectation.

Hanley strickened hoping no such wolves were near her and her Alpha but she needn't worry. On backing up a little she bumped into a male chest and knew from scent that it was Jason. Safe.

Jason had entered with the girls, but had gone to look for drinks, he'd taken his eyes off them for a few seconds and already the Alpha King and his Beta were there by his Alpha and pack doctor. It made his blood boil to see his tiny female pack members stand so close to other males who were so big. He bolted over like a horned bull and placed himself behind the girls.

It didn't matter though, their attention had been drawn else where to a young female wolf being carried off by an older male, one who was most likely lonely and fancied his chances. Jason cleared his throat. "Someone gonna go get her?"

Lucas felt the hair on his neck prickle even before Tyler had said anything, Lucas's inner wolf took over. He sprang forward turning into a massive black wolf before even touching the ground. People scattered to get out of the way as Lucas charged the older wolf, knocking him to the ground. It shocked the man so much he let go of both girls, but once he regained some sense turned into a massive wolf himself. Rage enthralled Lucas now sensing what this pervert had had in mind for HIS mate! Both wolves lunged at each other aiming for the throat, Lucas was quicker and managed to produce a deep cut into the other males throat, not deep enough to kill him. In the shock the other male transformed back into his human body, and Lucas put his massive paw on his chest slowly transforming back into his human form as well. "You will not touch my mate! Or any other female here, that is an order from your king alpha! Do you understand!?" Lucas growled staring directly into his eyes. The man nodded reluctantly, there was a sense about him that he would be an issue again later on. After that Lucas walked over and helped Adrian up, the feeling of rage leaving his body and the fact that he was butt naked in front a large group of extremely hormonally charged women. "Ummmm it seems i didn't think that through, huh?" he chuckled, blushing a deep crimson red.

Adrian blushed at his naked body but growled as she saw female start to swarm around him. She took off her jacket jacket and tide it around his waist blocking parts of him only she was allow to see. She blushed deeper at the thought and her hand touched a small part of his skin and she couldn't deny it anymore. He was her mate. She looked up into his deep blue eyes and there it was, the spark, the connection that happened between mates.

"we better go get you some clothes" Adrian said softly, took his hand that ignite pleasurable sparks in her skin. A shiver went down her spine but she ignored it as see led him into the castle, growling at any female who's eyes went lower then his waist. Even though he was cover her jacket wasn't very big. The thought's of what he just did, being so over-protective of her made her wolf happy.

She looked around the huge building then back at him
"i have no idea where i'm going so please lead the way" Adrian gestured for him to lead.

Despite standing naked in front of all his followers, this felt like the best moment of his life. When Adrian touched his skin, it felt like electricity was going through his body, the best part being when she looked him in the eye. "See having a mate isn't a bad thing, she can help you. You need her." Lucas's wolf told him a smug tone to it's voice. "This way," he grabbed her by the waist directing her to his quarters.

Once inside Lucas quickly changed into a blue button up shirt and loose fitting jeans, leaving the changing room he stopped in the doorway watching his mate look about curiously. he smiled softly to himself soaking in her appearance and her smell, "Darn Artemis and her hopeless romantic ways, controlling our emotions this way." he said walking up to her wanting to touch her yet again but re framing from that new pleasure. "I almost killed a man for you and I don't even know your name." If he had been in his wolf form then his tail would have been wagging.

Brayarly beside her alpha and best friend, although today was not a day for playing around. Today they were supposed to be mated off. Being the stubborn, independent wolf that she was, she said that she didn't need a mate. But like mot of the wolves, she was afraid. Afraid of being rejected, being mated with a terrible person, but most of all, afraid of falling in love and losing him like she lost her parents.
When her small paw slipped, nearly causing her to fall, she was pulled from her thoughts. Her rounded ears swiveled, as she regained her balance. Compared to most of the other wolves, she was easily the smallest. Although despite her short stature, her body was lithe and lean. In her wolf form, she held almost a cat-like appearance with small, somewhat rounded ears, small paws, and flexible body. Her soft coat was pure snow white, and her bright blue eyes stood out. But due to her small size, she was very agile.

When they finally reached the gates, their alpha ordered the pack to shift. Dropping the bag she held in her mouth, Bry shifted without hesitation. The pack was very close-knit and didn't care about seeing each other naked -well other than the possessive males who were already mated, who growled at the other males when they look even in the direction of their mates-. Chuckling, she opened up her bag and changed into a fitted pale blue tank top under a white lace crop-top that hung over one shoulder loosely, white shorts, and white flats. She had a very simple sense of style, and hated dressing up too much. She glanced over, making sure her entire pack was changed before nodding to her alpha.

As they entered the castle walls, she oddly felt her heart beat a little faster. When they very approached an attractive blonde with deep blue eyes at the gates, her heart fluttered. She took a half step back behind her alpha, looking away quickly. She completely missed her alpha introducing the pack, being caught up in the sound of his voice. "Nice to have you, I'm Tyler Rivers the Alpha King's Beta."
Tyler Rivers. Despite her greatest attempts to ignore him, that name wouldn't leave Bry's mind as they walked forward. She had to force herself to keep walking, although she had to steal a look back at him. She felt an undeniable, magnetic pull towards him.

As the Alpha King, Lucas, spoke, she was careful not even to look in the general direction of the pack. She stood next to her alpha, fidgeting. Everything told her to approach the blonde, Tyler. She stubbornly wouldn't leave the side of her friend, silently.
When he started speaking to others, she wondered off on her own. No sooner had she done that, then she had been thrown over the shoulder of a large male. She yelped loudly, surprised the the rough surprise. Looking over, she saw Adrian struggling in the other shoulder. "Put me down!" She demanded, kicking and stretching the male as her approached his group of friends, completely unfazed by her fighting.
When she heard a snarl, she immediately tensed. The man dropped her hard in the ground, she heard him snarl that e would never touch his mate- and looking up to see, what she assumed, was Lucas. Knowing he was talking about Adrian due to the lack of pull to him, she looked over at her packmate in surprise, and softly touched the skin around her waist that was lightly bruised from roughly being thrown over that man's shoulder.

"ummm....Adrian Marie Hunter, Lead Huntress of the Ocean Moon Pack but my friend's call me Rain" Adrian said softly. She was still scare he would reject her.
"you didnt have to attack him i was perfectly fine i had it under control" she said stubbornly, even though she liked the fact that he had almost killed that pervert for her. She blushed as she felt his giant frame loom close to her.

"Listen i know you were trying to avoid me so make it quick, i get it some males dont want a mate so please just make the rejection quick so we can both move on" Adrian spoke quietly, hiding her glistening wet eyes from him under her hair and crossed her arms waiting for the rejection. But in the back of her mind she repeated a prayer.

'please don't reject me, please dont reject me'

Lucas was shocked at what she said, "I wont reject you, Adrian." Lucas touched her shoulder tenderly, bring her closer to him. "I was avoiding you because I afraid of not being able to protect my mate. I have plenty of enemies out there and the last thing i want to do is end up look those...'men' out there." he said men with disgust at the thought of what that man would have done to his Rain. "Though if you don't want to be my mate, i will understand. I want you to choose on your own will, not just because of the wolf inside." turning her around he saw her tears, gently he wiped it away smiling. "Once you've decided let me know, I need to address the rules of this ceremony. You're welcome to come with me....I could use the support, going back out in front of people who just saw you naked isn't the easiest thing." he laughed

Adrian smiled at the thought of him not rejecting her. The thought of a mate didnt scare her so much now that he said he didnt want to reject her.
"of course i'll be your mate" she said softly a shyness said had never experienced before coming over her and she leaned her head on his hard chest. He was so tall she didnt even come up to his chin and she had to look up to look him in the eyes.

"yes i'll come with you i have never been to one of these so i need to know the rules anyway.....and i'll glare down any female who looks lustfully at you" Adrian mumbled the last part very quietly. She liked the sound of his laugh it sent goosebumps over her skin and a warmth in her belly. She looked up at him and smiled back then took his hand and started walking back to the crowd with him.

Lucas held firm to Adrian's hand, he needed to focus on the rules and not at the males that were eyeing his mate. "Attention all packs, it was come to my attention that some coming to this ceremony might have forgotten how to act in this kind of situation. Any disrespectful conduct as shown earlier will not be tolerated here, if that happens again then that person shall be at the mercy of all the alpha's! Any fighting due to feuding packs will be dealt with by myself personally. This is a peaceful time where we should all join together and show respect to one another." Lucas hoped he was doing his father proud.

Lucas's father Brandon had only recently stepped down, so Lucas was still a little unsure how to deal with everything. "Once everyone is settled then we can all move into the Banquet hall." he said turning around taking Adrian with him.

He led the way back to the meeting area, though he wished he could take Adrian away and 'seal the deal'. They were met at the door by a glowing Tyler, his goofy smirk goofier then usual.

"dude i think i just....Adrian? hey are you....oh my god dude is she.....dude thats awesome!" Tyler grinned wider as he high fived Lucas then turned to Adrian.

"why hello.....Lunaaaaaa!" Tyler shouted and wrapped his arms around Adrian and grinned.
"i know i sound like a girl but you guys make such a awesome pair, well i will see you guys later i am going to go see if my suspensions are right" Tyler said loudly then ran back to the court yard a wide eyed Adrian watching him go.

"is he always like that?" she looked up at Lucas and a blush instantly came to her cheeks. God he was just so gorgeous.
Taking a deep breath to calm herself Adrian got on her tippy toes, grabbed Lucas's collar to make him come lower and kissed him softly on the lips sending sparks through her body and making her feel as if she was on cloud nine. She let go of him and broke away and turned away from him blushing like a tomato.

"well umm before we go to the dining hall i guess i should take the stuff i have to your room since i'll be moving in with you and i'll have to get my stuff from home moved here......" Adrian said quietly. She felt like she was moving to fast but really this was a slow pace for mates. When her parents met it took them 5 minutes to go in the back of dad's truck and........well make her. Dont ask how she know's cause she doesn't like to recalled the conversation.

Lucas nodded, "This is him calm...." he was cut off by Adrian's surprise kiss. As Adrian spoke Lucas's head was spinning, "If i didn't have to go an be social with all the packs then i would suggest skipping all this cloths nonsense." he mumbled like a little boy. He grabbed her pulling her body close to his, "We need to talk to your alpha about your leaving the pack, preferably before the banquet." he said looking down at his little prize. He could barely remember why he hadn't wanted a mate, her eyes gleamed like shining emeralds. A servant ran in wrecking the moment, "Sir, you really must go and socialize with the alpha's." Lucas groaned, "Thank you, you may leave now." after the servant left Lucas cupped Adrian's head in his hands and kissed her one last time before leaving. "Come and find me once you have settled in." he hated to leave her but there were things he need to do and things she need to do.

Tyler ran up to the blonde girl he thought was his mate. The man had thrown her on the ground and he wanted to rip his head off for hurting her.
"hello miss are you ok here let me help you up" Tyler offered grabbing her arm. Sparks instantly shock through his arm and his eyes darkened.
"mine" he growled lowly. This blonde beauty was his mate. He lightly lifted her off the group and hugged her to him growling at all the passing males that looked at her.
"whats your name baby?" he asked softly in her ear and nuzzled her neck resisting the urge to mark her his right now.

"ok" Adrian said softly, she didnt want him to let her go she felt so safe and warm in his arms. Her lips still tingled from their kiss but she forcefully moved her feet away from her spot and went the direction his scent was the strongest.
10 minutes of wondering around her soon to be new home and she found his bedroom. It was on the highest floor and no other rooms were on his floor. His room was huge and smelled just like him, it was all navy blues and dark woods and she instantly felt comfortable in it. She went to his walk in closet which was huge and started clearing out a space for her things. Since this was a 2 week long ceremony she had packed alot of clothes, which she started to hang neatly in their new spot. She left out a dark blue dress with silver gladiator sandal's cause no matter how much she wanted to her and heels just shouldnt mix. She changed that then took her hair from its braid and let the soft waves travel down her back.
"ok meeting all the Alpha's of all the packs and now your going to be the queen Luna.....oh my god" Adrian started freaking out but took deep breaths in a calmed herself enough the not look stressed and left Lucas's room. She ran down the way she came and hunted for the dining room.
5 minutes later she found it. The room was already filled with people and she was happy she had changed out of her jeans shorts and tank top cause almost everyone was dressed nicely. Men in tuxes and girls in party dresses like Adrian, her's just not as slutty as the majority of them.
'desperate females' she thought bitterly and went on the hunt for her mate.
