Wolf Pack's Territory

Adrian growled slightly. Gone to her head? Look who's talking.
"I am not embarrassing myself. I know who you are and i know what you are capable of but i dont fear you and i may be little but i pack a powerful bite" Adrian replied coldly.
This woman was starting to annoy her. She is Queen of the Vampire's not of the world and Adrian is Queen of the Lycan's they are on the same level. The vampire queen may be stronger then Adrian because she has been alive longer but she should get it straight that they were on the same level of authority.
If Lucas let her into their Kingdom one she would fight back, two she would have a hard time trusting him from now on and three if he does he better get use to sleeping on the couch in another room and not having his mate talk to him for a while.
If Lucas trusts her to much Adrian isnt sure if she could be by him while she's carrying pups. Not only is it a betrayal to her kind but also to her. And Adrian didnt care if she was acting selfish she's pregnant and hormonal and her wolf hates can sense the evil aura around this woman, Lucas couldnt.
'Lucas dont, you may trust this woman but i dont, you cant see her aura and Artemis doesnt trust her' Adrian said sadly to her mate through their mind link.

Colton stood there in wonder. This place was amazing but what was more amazing was his mate in a swim suit with a light blush on her cheeks.
Colton smirked and jumped in, splashing Claudie.
"This place is awesome, but not as awesome as you in a skin tight bikini" Colton growled seductively. He was only playing around after all. He swiftly grabbed Claudie by her waist and through her into the air and she fell into the deeper part of the water. Colton followed diving under with her. The water was so clean and fresh he could open his eyes underneath without it burning. He swam over to her and put an arm around her waist and kissed her on the neck where his mark was.

Lucas shot annoyed look at Adrian 'are you going to trust me or not! I've dealt with her longer and I know she's mischievous. It seems she has more respect for me then you do.' He paused then continued, ' the best way to handle her is not to disrespect her.' He warned then straightened up, knowing he was already in the dog house made him feel bad but he had an entire race to watch for. " I'm terribly sorry for the rudeness Warren, please excuse my mates behavior she was not aware that you sometimes make an appearance." Lucas said stepping back leading the way to the castle. Luckily Tyler was used to these visits and hopefully had everything set up for her majesty. " we are out of your specific refreshments but I'm sure you'll understand due to the suddenness of your visit." He said kindly. The vampire queen walked in front of Adrian and Lucas ' keep your friends close and your enemies closer.' He said to Adrian over the link hoping she would understand why he had to act this way. It was a game the aloha kings and she had played for lifetimes.

Claudie laughed as Colton kissed her, she slipped through his arms and swam into the center of the spring." You smell like wet dog." She stuck her tongue out. He was so handsome, and he reminded her so much of her old love. " you have his smile....." She said quietly to herself.

It hurt Adrian that Lucas said that she didnt respect him, it also hurt how he was treating her like a child and how annoyed he was getting with her. She was his mate,not some bitch (meaning female dog lol) whom he can screw and have pups with.
'I dont give to shit what you think she's like or that you know her better i am not know her personal but i KNOW her so fuck off Lucas.....or should i say Alpha cause for the time being consider yourself mate-less, or a better idea why dont you go fuck the Vampire Queen i'm sure you two would make a great couple' Adrian snarled angrily through the mindlink. She didnt even want to be in the same room as this witch.

"Pardon me your majesty's but i have things to take care of" Adrian said politely, well as forced as she can get it though her voice sounded cold. She, like a good little lap dog, bowed slightly to them then glanced coldly one more time at Lucas then shot off into the bushes. She shifted quickly, anger fueling her and before she knew it she was off Lucas's territory. She could feel the alert going off in her head that the Alpha, Beta, Delta and Luna get when someone goes onto their territory and when someone leaves. She growled in annoyance as someone tried to mindlink her but she pushed them away not in the mood to talk..... especially if it was Lucas.

She didnt even know who fast she was going or where she was going until she refocused and stopped. She had somehow managed to run to her old pack territory high up in the mountain's. She knew her wolf brought her here because no one would find her here. Not even her mate. Slowly Adrian walked around until she stood in the middle of her old town, all broken houses and ashes. Slow tears started leaking down her face as she pushed herself forward until she reached her old house. It was a temple of sorts because the Alpha's were so close to Artemis, it was the only building left unharmed because of the barrier around it only let Silver bloods in. She shifted and looked around, besides the cob webs everything was as it was when she was a child. A cold wind blow through the open door and Adrian shivered as it hit her bare body. Swiftly she went into the back of the temple where they lived and went into her parents room. She got one of her mom's favorite sundresses then a big wool sweater that belonged to her father. More tears left her eye's as the thought of never seeing her parents again entered her mind.

They would never see what she had become, they would never meet their grandchildren, nor help her when she had mate problem's. Adrian glanced out the window to see the sun was setting and her anger with Lucas faded with it, worry, regret and damn well missing him rose with the moon. But she wouldnt let it go, she was the Queen now and she had as much say in the kingdom as Lucas did. Some part of her wished she hurt Lucas with her words like he hurt her. Her fingers curled around her belly and she dropped onto her parents bed and cuddled in the woven blanket her mom had made. She already missed her pack and she hadnt even been gone for that long but she couldnt stay there with her. She wouldnt feel safe and she wasnt going to let anything hurt her pups, even there father's misguided decision's.

Warren paused at the three of them stopped walking, the young Queen force out a polite word or two before disappearing into the bushes. She could hear her feet hitting the ground and listened until she was out of range. she glanced over her shoulder at the Alpha King with a small innocent smile. "My, I hope I haven't caused problems for you." She murmured. Seeing the King look doubtful she walked back to his side and placed a chilly hand on the neck of his wolf form. Her hands partially disappeared into the fur and the warmth from his body was overwhelming. "She's young, all young Queen's are reckless and foolish in the beginning. Must not allow her to over power you though Lucas, a King must always hold his ground" she advised.

Walking once again she kept her hand on his neck. "You really have grown haven't you Lucas, I remember when you were only a pup and now look, you're a king, you have a mate and your mate is with child. How terribly stressful it must be to run the kingdom and convert a Lycan female into ruling material. I sympathise." she added softly.

They reached the castle in no time. Warren received many looks, most bewildered and guarded for she rarely appeared when all the lycan's were together for the ceremony, most of them had probably never seen a vampire like her. Those who made up the royal pack gave her respectful and hateful looks at the same time. She ignored most of the Lycans and walked to the room she and the king usually sat in. Some of the royal pack members followed. She could sense some of the Alpha's hanging around nearby also.

"So, business first. Where is Claudie? I would like to see her and her new...companion."

Lucas was hurt and extremely agitated with Adrian, but he couldn't focus on her right now. What she wouldn't understand was that Lucas was acting this way to protect her. Warren knew things of the old ways, she could do anything if she so wanted to and Lucas was not going to have Adrian's fiery temper get her killed. He loved her to much even if it meant she would hate him, he would do what he had to not only for her but for the kingdom.

Trying to keep calm, he listened to the vampire queens words. They were truthful words. It was true Warren had watched Lucas grow up, she was even present the day he was born. In an odd way he was comfortable with her, even though they both know one day they would end up fighting each other to the death.

Once at the castle Lucas respectfully excused himself and went up to his room to change. After changing into a black suite, he walked down the stairs, the castle was in a teezy as was usual when the queen came to visit. Luckily he ran into Tyler who was setting everything up, " Tyler, I need you to send out a group of our best trackers to find Adrian she ran off...." The words stuck in his throat like a bad taste, " I would go after her myself but at the moment there is no way I can leave Warren alone. As long as I'm keeping an eye on her she should behave herself. After sending them out come back, I'll need you.......any kind of support would help..." He said looking down at the floor. He felt like something was tearing him apart from the inside out, all he wanted was Adrian safe in his arms... If she ever let him touch her again. With a quick pat on the shoulder he left his best friend to face his best enemy.

The queen demanded to see Claudie and Colton, but a servant whispered in Lucas's ear saying they were no where to be found. " I'm sorry to say they are not here right now. Why is it that you are taking such interest in them? Surely you've had this happen before?" He asked sitting down in a chair across the table from Warren. Lucas had managed to put his poker face back on before entering the room.

Tyler was slightly confused. Adrian ran away! While pregnant! WHY!
His wolf growled protectively, his Luna wasnt here and it worried him. Tyler quickly ran down the stairs and to the group of trackers.
"Henry, Quin and Ginger, you are our best tracker's then Queen Luna has ran off and the Alpha King has ordered you go find her" Tyler snapped an order and the all nodded before heading out.
Bryarly didnt go with her did she? Shit!
With that thought Tyler shot up to their room and slammed the door open making his mate jump.
"Oh thank god your still here" Tyler said happily and wrapped his mate in his arm's.
"Bryarly Adrian ran off and i have to go to a meeting, i need you to stay here" Tyler almost ordered but it didnt feel right. Instead he kissed Bryarly once before swiftly leaving.
'Beta we have found and tracked the Luna's scent but it just stops 1000 miles from the castle, we cant find anything else' Henry spoke through the mind link, Tyler could tell he wasnt trying to sound upset about not finding their Luna.
'Look more' Tyler commanded and entered the study where the King and Queen were. Tyler closed the door behind him.
"Queen Warren a pleasure to see you again" Tyler spoke kindly. He stood behind Lucas.
'Alpha our tracker's have found Adrian's scent but 1000 miles from here they say it just stops' Tyler informed Lucas through the mind link.

"I do not!" Colton snapped playfully. He was about to pounced again when he heard her whisper to herself.
"I have who's smile?" Colton asked confused.

"Someone from my old village, I'll tell about him sometime....." Suddenly Claudie felt the presence of her Queen... "Colton! She's here!" She screamed, fear surrounded her.Colton swam over, unknowingly Claudie felt tears run down her face. "She's going to kill me....Colton....... I'm scared...." She admitted sobbing, there was no other person in the world who could put this much fear into Claudie. She knew the queen was not someone who did quick deaths, she would drag it out and make Claudie suffer.... Or worse torture Colton and make her watch then kill her.

Lucas received Tyler's message and on the outside kept his composer calm but on the inside he was freaking out. WHERE DID SHE GO?!

Warren welcomed the Royal Beta with a nod, before turning back to Lucas in order to answer his question. "Claudie was one of my close associates, to have her disappear so suddenly was quite unnerving. I only wish to see if she's okay. It has occurred before but, certainly not to someone so respected. She had such potential..." Warren's sentence drifted off to silence. She didn't want to offend the Lycan's but a Vampire coupling with a Lycan was simply unacceptable. Warren would expect it of lower class vampires who occasionally were mistreated but a vampire so close to her in council, it was quite the scandal. She wouldn't care otherwise.

"Also, I have come alone, being the only Vampire surrounded by such large, capable Lycan's...well it could be considered quite lonely and intimidating for me, don't you think? A bit of female company would be nice and considering your Queen is not available-" Warren paused to shoot a selected look at the King. "-I will have to make do with Claudie."

Warren sat back in her chair and crossed her legs over, revealing miles of bare, glowing skin. She smiled at the two Lycan males with her sharp fangs on display. "It's been a while since I have been here whilst the ceremony is in play, so many hormones, I do hope none of your kin decide to bite me. I think it'd be safe to say I'd be more than they could chew." She mused, part of her amused by the idea of some foolish, male youth binding himself to her. It'd been so long since she'd had a toy to play with.

Trying to look comfortable Lucas shot the queen a confident smile. " you have nothing to fear, I highly doubt any of our males would try to dishonor you in such a way. I take it you will be staying for a while? For how long?" He asked looking her directly in the eye. He didn't have Adrian to watch out for now, and this was his territory and he would make sure she knew who was running the show here. " leaving your people at such a time is quit unusual, it almost leaves your kingdom defenseless." He said nonchalantly.

Adrian woke up with a start. Worry and pain pressed down onto her chest and she knew right away it wasnt her's. Shit Lucas!
She should mindlink him.....maybe, tell him where she is....... maybe, even if she told him he wouldnt know where to find her unless so showed him but she wouldnt do that.....would she?
The pain increased and Adrian let out a sob. Yes she had to. Slowly she opened her mate link.
'Lucas.......i....i just wanted to let you know i'm ok, i'm in Silver Moon Territory so it doesnt matter whom you send out they can't find me.....you cant find me......i......shit Derek......i got to go' Adrian closed the link as a wolf howl echoed in her ear's and that howl could only belong to one person.

"Oh Adrian i know your here" Derek's human voice called out and she stiffened before heading out of the bedroom and to the wide open door.

"Yes Derek i'm here. where i'm suppose to be unlike you" Adrian snapped angrly. Thank god Derek had clothes on.
"What are you doing here Adrian?" he asked and she shrugged
"Mate troubles" she answered coldly. Derek growled at her disrespect and stepped forward only to have to step back as a shock of pain racked his body.
"Only someone of Silver blood can enter the shrine" Adrian smiled cockily and Derek snarled angrily.
"Well you have to come out at sometime and when you do your mine" he snapped and shifted then ran into the bushes.
"Thats what you think" she growled.

Colton growled. How dare this queen think she can hurt his mate. Colton know he wouldnt stand a chance against the vampire queen but the least he could do is hide his mate and he.
"Dont worry baby i wouldnt let her hurt you" Colton said softly and wrapped his arms tightly around his mate.

"It's too late she senses me... If she wanted to she would come here.... She calling me, I have to go." She said almost hypnotized, she released her hold and started walking out of the cave. Once outside she began to ran and reached the castle walking directly to the meeting room ( still in her swim suite) then opened the door. Colton was following closely, Claudie walked up and bowed to her Queen." I'm sorry for the delay, my Queen." She said then the trance wore off, she looked wide eyed into Queen Warrens icey gaze.

Warren smiled widely. "I would spend less time worrying about my kingdom and spend more time on the state of your own if I were you" she replied casually. There was little threat to her people, when she was sat in front of the very creature that posed the biggest threat. When the big fish were together, the little one's couldn't do much damage. Besides, she wasn't the one with the vulnerable mate.

"I'll be staying for a few days, will that be a problem? I know you have so many mouths to feed at the moment, all of the Lycan packs are here aren't they? What chaos."

Warren glanced out of the window, and wondered where Claudie and her new squeeze could be. It seemed everyone she wished to see were conveniently missing, including the fiery young Luna who had vanished. For someone so protective of her mate, where was she now whilst Warren had the King in her talon-like clutches. He couldn't leave her, unless he wished to risk her mischief.

Just then Claudie burst in with a male lycan hot on her tail. Her eyes clashed with Claudie's dangerously. She was barely dressed in a swimsuite. Warren raised her eyebrows. How distasteful.

"Claudie I was just thinking about you." she mused, though beneath her casual tone was a layer of pure ice. "How kind of you to turn up, after all you've only been missing for a fortnight." the vampire queen hissed.

Lucas gasped then recomposed him self, 'ADRIAN!!! Please please, if he is there contact the search party. I can't help you!!' He practically sobbed through the link, 'please Adrian, I can't lose you!' He called. He looked up at the Queen, " no issue at all, I hope you don't mind a personal guard while you are here. For your safety of course." He said. The scent of Claudie filled the room as she entered, Lucas stared as the girl robotically made her way to her Queen. Colton entered as well, Lucas began to feel like this was going to be along night.

Lucas's plea flowed into Adrian's head.
'Lucas i'll be fine i have a barrier around myself and the pups and my home, where i am right you now surrounded by a barrier that only lets silver bloods in, i'm fine, i have a underground room full of food and water and i'll contact Zoe to come help me.....i'm fine, i'm safe and i know you are to cause i have a barrier around you as well' Adrian spoke softly into the mind link. Fuck it was hard to stay mad at your soulmate when they sound so worried.

Warren beckoned for Claudie to come closer before she wrapped a clawed hand around the back of the vampire's head. She pulled her closer, until her eyes were directly in line with Claudie's.

'What is this I smell on you, Betrayal...' she hissed venomously through a faint mind-link, that all vampires possessed with their Queen. It was as faint as a whisper and a fragile link that lingered in the back of the mind, but it was influential and frightening when it had to be.

Warren smiled, much different to the aura she was projecting to Claudie, the same aura Adrian most-likely could sense due to her heritage. "I came all this way to retrieve you darling."

'You know just as well as I do, that once a female has been mated to a male that she has to do whatever he wants.... I would never betray you my Queen.' She said via link. " I'm sorry to have troubled you, my Queen. With all the change I never sent word, I apologize." Claudie knew acting weak would only make things worse for herself.

Lucas was distracted by Adrian's message, ' be safe, I love you..' He said then turned his attention back to the matter at hand.

'I love you to......but i'm still mad at you so still know your on the couch' Adrian said through the link then linked Zoe telling her where Adrian was and how to get there.

Colton growled low in his chest and the bitch queen touched his mate. He could see the scared look in Claudie's eyes and the press of worry and fright in his chest that wasnt his, he knew it was Claudie's.
"Pardon me milady but Claudie isnt going anywhere with you, she is my mate now" Colton said sternly. He wasnt giving up Claudie without a fight.
"And if you think that you should take her away then i will fight for her, literally. She's mine not your anymore" Colton said calmly but on the side he was anything but calm. He wanted to rip this woman's throat out.

"In that case you are of no further use to me." Came the Queen's harsh response via the link before she cut it off abruptly. Claudie's new mate rose to defend her. Warren laughed huskily at his threats. "Fight for her? What a ridiculous suggestion, she is no longer worth the effort. What use do I have for a whelp's servant."

Warren sighed and removed her hand from Claudie's head, dragging her nails across the back of the vampire's skull in order to leave a tingling sensation. How troublesome. She turned her icy gaze to the male Lycan and bared her teeth. "What a strange little Lycan you are, wishing a vampire for your mate. Tell me, do you think it appropriate to simply sink your teeth into any neck? Or is she supposedly special. Was there some special pull, some nasty little urge that caused you to steal one of my loyal subjects."

The more Warren thought about it the more fearsome her temper became, like a live volcano. It was all this Lycan's fault. Lycan's and their foolish need to mate with something. Lycan's and their idiotic ceremonies. Lycans she hissed to herself.

"No there was no special urge just anger when i bite Claudie, but thats all changed, i love that she is my mate and i thank Artemis i didnt mark anyone else" Colton spoke truthfully.
He wouldnt loose Claudie to this woman.
"And she isnt my servant she is my mate! i will never disrespect her or treat her cruely, like every Lycan i will treat my mate like a treasure that is only mine, a mate is someone whom is made for you in everyway, the one person you can show your true self to, the person who you can trust more then anyone less, mates should always be together never apart, they should never hurt one another becuase if they do it effects the other and most of all a mate is the one person whom you can give a part of your heart to and love them forever and Claudie is MY mate" Colton said the last part with adoration and looked at Claudie.

"She's mine and i am her's and thats just the way destiny wanted it to be"

If Warren didn't know better she would have openly displayed her intense disgust for Colton's long winded description that came from deep within about mates, and destiny and Claudie. It turned her temper down a notch just to hear such heart-felt trollop. It made her stomach coil and her ears burn to listen to it without rolling her eyes.

"So I've heard from countless Lycan King's and Queen's, but she will always be in your control, that is the way of the vampire. You enslaved her without a second thought. Selfish Lycan." She turned away and stroked her golden plait. "What is your name Lycan?"

Claudie stood in shock, those words she had heard meant death in the vampire world. The queen would try something, she never gave her play things away. Suddenly Colton's voice came through the fog in her mind, he talked about how she was his and he was hers. Looking up she saw the Queens interest peak at his speech, dread filled her stomach. Unconsciously Claudie stepped back into Colton, the need to be near him. As he and the Queen fought back and forth.

Lucas sat silently studying the events that were unfolding before him.

Bryarly jumped when her mate came running into their room, causing the door to slam open. She had been tired, and had only meant to rest for a moment but apparently she had fallen asleep. Yawning, she wa jarred by Tyler's actions. "Oh thank god your still here" Tyler wrapped his arms around her, relieved. "Why wouldn't I be?" She asked confusedly.

"Bryarly Adrian ran off and i have to go to a meeting, i need you to stay here" Tyler told her quickly, them kissed her and ran off. Why the hell did she run off?! She must have been upset- she probably really needs a friend. She can't be alone out there!
Bry bit her lip, torn. Before she could make any rash desisions, she smelled vampire. Not Claudie's scent, but a foreign, powerful vampire. On impulse, she hurried down after her mate.
When she saw the vampire queen holding Claudie's skull tightly, and her brother ready to fight, the little pregnant wolf marched her way over without hesitation.

Sensing the power radiating from the vampire and not wanting to start anything she wasn't supposed to, we clenched her teeth and tried to be civil. "Excuse me, but why exactly are you looking at my brother's mate like you want her dead? She is park of us now, and we will defend her again you-" she pausing, cutting herself off to keep from saying something that could get her into trouble. "Your kind."

Adrian didnt know why but she kept feeling more and more uncomfortable. It wasnt just her mate now it felt like her whole pack. She should be there for them. Deciding what she was going to do she contacted Artemis.
'Artemis i wish of you to grant me the power to put a barrier around everyone of my pack please' Adrian begged the Goddess.
'I shall if you offer me something in return' Artemis said softly
'What is it you want?' Adrian asked and her hands flew to her stomach
'I remember when you were a pup and you would sing to me every night as a pray, you have such a lovely voice and thats what i want, for as many days as you have these barriers is how many days i am to have your voice' Artemis concluded and Adrian nodded in agreement. It went as swiftly as their agreement and Adrian couldnt talk anymore meaning the barrier's were now up.
Swiftly Adrian escaped through the back door without anyone noticing them took off back to her pack.
She didnt know how long it took until she was safely back in her territory and Adrian could see the castle.
She felt foolish for leaving in the first place.
When she entered the castle she shifted and a maid brought her a rode. She nodded her head and followed Lucas's scent until Adrian was standing outside of the door. She lightly knocked then entered to see the room full of tension. Bryarly, Tyler, Cotlon and Claudie stood with Lucas and Warren. Feeling lighter about the situation of her being here now that Adrian knew everyone was safe she ignored the queen's evil aura and bowed. Adrian smiled when she saw all her packmates even Claudie were surrounded in the light sphere of their own barrier's that only she could see. The only one's who wont be able to touch anyone with feeling pain and being pushed back is the queen for she didnt have a barrier around her cause only people in barrier's could touch one another.

She didnt feel mad at the moment or upset she felt happy and when she felt a slight kick in her stomach she beamed. Because werewolves mature fast her pups even if she was only a month or so pregnant her pups could kick. They would spend the next 6 months growing into their abilities of being wolves. They would also be born in wolf form. Excitedly Adrian walked over to Lucas and grabbed his hand putting it on her rob clad stomach to let him feel the pups while sending him a look, trying to say she was sorry for how she reacted.

Colton looked over as Adrian walked into the room and Tyler sighed in relief.
"My name is Colton" Colton said to the Vampire Queen, prying his eyes off Adrian to look back at the Queen.
"Adrian were so happy your back" Tyler said relieved and Adrian nodded in response which confused Tyler.
"Luna are you ok?" Tyler asked and Adrian nodded again but this time she looked sheepish.

Warren was openly ignoring most of the lycan's in the room apart from Colton who had maddened her, however after Adrian enter she became momentarily distracted from the current situation at hand. Her cold eyes lingered on Claudie, staring intently at the Vampire. So...someone here was linked to Artemis. She felt an untimely aura enter her body, a dark and power surge. She closed her eyes and relaxed herself. Two could play at the game someone was embarking upon. Warren looked around the room full of wolves and wondered which one had called upon their goddess, few could contact the gods, it had to be someone of importance. Someone that was better off dead to her.

She held back a grim smile. They had made a grave mistake, through trying to protect a vampire from it's own Queen. She could imagine that all the wolves in the room had the same shimmering light surrounding them just as Claudie did, but she couldn't physically see their light, only Claudie's.

Warren grew frustrated the more she looked at the Lycan's, ignorant and rude, full of disrespect. The more generations that came to pass, the less respect came with it and it was grating on her nerves. Now this. Did the lycan's believe they were the only ones with deities?

She stood abruptly. Tired of the noise, tired of the room full of low class Lycan's who seemed to think they had a right to talk to her when they hardly had the right to be in her presence. She was tired and annoyed. She gave Claudie one last, cool glare before llooking at Lucas.

"I wish to retire to my chambers and refresh myself. I came for you, King Alpha and ended up with half of the castle sitting in. While I am gone, please gain some form of control over your castle, unless things are always this unruly." she glanced over at a Lycan who stood to attention as soon as she rose, he was most-likely her guard.

She stalked from the room without another word. The guard led her to her chambers and there, is where she stood staring from a window over the Lycan territory. Thinking about the short encounter and contemplating whether or not it would be wise to call upon her own deity...Hera.
