Uploading a character avatar?

I have tried about 10-15 times to upload a .jpg file as one of my character's avatars. I have tried emptying my cache and I have also put the pixels at less than 100x100 just in case the computer thought the picture was too big and it still does not show up...help? ><

I already tried that unfortunately, I usually research how to fix a problem and if it still isn't fixed, then I ask for help so... still praying lol

Have you tried pressing Ctrl-F5?
