They just really, really mesh. He's aggressive and shameless, and it's so very easy to be around him without judgment. They are not alike in many ways, but they know what they want - and that often leads to the bedroom. Or the bar counter. You know - whatever. Over time, however, she's really begun to sense something darker in him. His skin gives off the malodorous scent of Hell, and she knows exactly where he is going. She's not sure what she cares so much about what will happen in his death, but it does bother her. It bothers her a lot. He wants to know, but she can't find it in herself to be honest. She sometimes imagines what Hell will be like for him, and knows how she would shape his eternal punishment. It is not pretty.

He's a good time out on the firing range, but becoming pals might threaten the thin line that Camila sometimes feels between romance and friendship. She will look, though. Maybe tease a little. If she knew that he was actually interested in her, she might take a step back.

The gayness is not what turns Elijah off from him, even though to others it may actually seem that way - it's just the man's appearance. Elijah is old and resistant to change, and his traditionally manly ways seem to clash with Phoenix's more freestyle. The dude wears make-up, for Heaven's sake, and it's really hard not to judge. God knows he tries not to, but he can't help it. He avoids Phoenix, and that has led to the rumor that he is potentially homophobic or something.

Little sister annoying is a perfect way to describe his relationship with Rosie. She knows that he is stubborn and pretty old-fashioned, so she urges him to get in with the modern time. She teaches him a thing or two about accepting people for how they are, but she understands that he's not what the rumors that the town perceives him to be. He's just old. As irritating as she is, he'd certainly rip the throat out of the unfortunate soul that slights her. That's for certain.

They acknowledge each other in public places, and that's enough for the both of them.

She seems to avoid him, and that's perfectly fine. The fact that she had died has no real effect on him because he's used to people dying. Now she's a pain in the ass, and he really hopes that she will accept her demise for what it is one day. Maybe then she'd stop being such a jerk to her friends.

Whether it's by the fact she'd been pushing him away as of late or not, she isn't sure. And that's what scares her..

Helping futher her friendship with Phoenix and Alex, and without Rosie, Jaiden doesn't think she would have stayed in Greythorne much longer when she first arrived.

In past years, they were anything but close. But as recent events transpired, they became closer than ever. All she knows is that Markus practically demanded that she stayed with him until she proved to be fine. They're on better standing than they were prior, and she feels like she is a minor burden to him as of late.

She always had struggles and inner battles with herself for years. Whether it was after the accident that left her orphaned and alone, or the events that transpired during the attack. But they seemed to have worsened as time went on, and as of late, she wishes she could have done things differently. And perhaps if she didn't freeze when she did, others may have been spared. But now she'll never know, and she can't forgive herself.

Before the attack, they were close enough. Always throwing insults at Alex together, practically feeding off of each other's chaotic energy.But after the attack, things between them changed. Whether it be that they've spent more time together as they both live Markus now, or perhaps the change in both of them. But they are seemingly closer than ever, and having someone like Violet in her life has helped with her current feelings towards herself. But she has noticed the shift in Violet, and it's hard to not notice the changes.

When they first met each other in high-school when she first arrived at Greythorne, Alex was one of the ones she avoided at all costs. He was just, too much for her at times. But after being around him more due to her ever-growing relationship with Phoenix, she grew to deal with Alex's quirks. Things have been a little rocky since the attack, but she's trying her best to deal with Alex and his recent tendencies.

They've talked a few times and have had some genuine conversations. But for the most part, she doesn't go out of her way to be Zada's friend and visa Versa. If Zada ever needed anything, Jaiden would try her best to help. But at the moment, she has no desire to be anyone else's friend. She just doesn't want to get close to someone again in the case of what happened during the first attack to happen again. But if Zada really needed help, she'd be there is a heartbeat.

They have only talked a few times in passing, and that can only be said for them. Neither one has shown any real interest in the other one, and that's perfectly fine with her. They're mutual in the regard that they see each other in town, but never really talk or cause any trouble for the other.

Jaiden never knew what to think of the demon when she first met her, and still isn't exactly sure. She was fine with Camila for a while, but that was until she got involved with Alex. And since then her opinions on the woman have drastically changed and she wishes nothing more than for her to leave her friends alone. But she knows that isn't happening anytime soon, so she just puts on a fake smile and acts as nicely as she can when she really has to.

Due to her increased isolation, there isn't much to talk about for these two. Sure, almost every time Neden has shown any interest in her or simply flirted, Jaiden tried her best to just smile and take it as compliments. While she does appreciate their company and jokes and kindness when they do interact, the last thing she wants to do is start to form feelings for someone else again. But she goes know she can always rely on Neden, even if she isn't exactly sure why that is. But being around them causes some relief.

In simplest words, Kaylessa is just another version of one of the people Jaiden lost during the attack and looking at her causes her heart to hurt. She knows she isn't the same person, but due to how similar in nature Kay is, it doesn't help the loss of a loved one. Jaiden doesn't fault the girl as she probably doesn't understand why she feels the way she does. But Jaiden just hopes one day she can move on and be Kay's friend without having any of these negative emotions.

Markus has known Phoenix for almost his entire life. He saw him practically grow up and turn out to be a rather decent person. He admired the fact that he and his friend Alex took Jaiden under their wings when they were young and how they watched out for each other actually made him feel something. But now after the attack, he is on constant edge of something else happening to the people he has come to view as his friends, as well as his small and incredibly dysfunctional family.

He knew her for the longest time, much to his dismay. At first he was constantly annoyed and irritated by her constant bubbly and happy persona. But after he saw that she was struggling with her supernatural side, he sort of took her under his wing and did the best to show her that, even though he hated his own existence, they still had to make it worth it. While he'd never admit to it, her outgoing personality and genuine thrive for helping others does actually make him feel something. Whether it's wanting to better himself and become less guarded, or that she's been rubbing off on him he isn't exactly sure yet. But she is a kind soul that has gone through enough in her short life-time so far and Markus does his best to keep her from going down any roads she may be headed.

For as long as he can remember, he's always hated himself. Whether it was his Lycan half or his human side, he always held some sort of resentment and inner anger. He wishes more than for something to either take him out and end his prolonged suffering, or if he can perhaps find a cure for the curse he was born with. But in the end, he will easily protect those he is fond over and would do anything for them, even if it meant he had to put his life on the line, for what else does he has to live for anymore..?

Markus always had a soft spot for her, and while he'd never admit it, he couldn't help but sympathize with her. He saw a lot of himself in her and took it upon himself to try and make sure she was well looked after. He wasn't sure why, but after she told him more than she probably should have, he couldn't help but feel for her. And his feelings for her only increased after the attack. He could see the downward spiral she was going towards and knew he had to do something. Since then, he's made sure she has a place that she can feel safe in and had opened up one of the rooms in his house for her and her animals.

Markus knew her the absolute longest, and was incredibly close to her even before the accident that took her life away from her. They were very close, even oddly close that some would say. It was after her death that he felt like a part of him was taken away. He saw her grow up and to see her die the way she did traumatized him for years. No one, except for one young vampire, knew that Markus was the one that found her body in the lake when people whispered of her being gone far too long. Violet's death ruined him, and it was rather uncomfortable when she returned as a ghost and stayed for over a decade. He understood why she stayed, or more so didn't move on from this realm. He wished he could have done more for her while she was still alive. But since the attack and after she came back from...wherever she went, he isn't sure but something is off about her. She's been more distant than ever before, and the fact that she is seemingly pushing him further away every day is concerning for him to say the least.

Markus' dislike towards vampires is a known factor, but he only gives the ones that attack others a hard time. But the ones that keep to themselves, like Elijah don't bother him too much. But if he were to ever act out, Markus would then stand in and do what he'd have to do to protect Greythorne and its people. They are his family after all.

If he were to know Travis' involvement in the attack, Travis may not be alive for much longer.

With both of their strong personalities and common moral compass, it isn't surprising when someone sees them both together or simply having a conversation in the street or store. Neden has nothing but admiration for her and isn't ashamed of how abrasive they can come across sometimes.

Neden had been watching over the group for months, and seeing some of the ones they considered friends get fatally injured and some even slaughtered in the aftermath caused a slight rift between the two. Neden watched as the aftermath affected Jaiden, and could only watch from the sidelines as she withdrew from everyone. Every time they're around Jaiden, a heavyweight of pressure weighs down on them as if the negativity itself is a physical mass. Neden hopes to one day be able to help take away all of the blame and anger she feels, but they doubt that they could do it as they are no miracle worker..

They had never met someone quite like Zada before in all of their time on earth and with several different supernatural beings, Zada is the one that has intrigued them the most and aren't sure why.

As no real higher being that cared for their creations would torment someone as much as Elijah has been. It's a bit of a cliche, but is something that shouldn't come as much of a shock. A demon and angel, whether fallen or not could ever get along. If they weren't trying to kill each other or were often rather harsh to one another, they were trying to ignore the other one at all costs. They were created by polar opposites and had lived that way for hundred of years. While there isn't specifically any bad blood between them from Neden's point of view, they understand why Camila would hate their existence even if they've never done anything wrong to them personally. Neden does question why is that they don't hate Camila like they should. They have no real negative or hard feelings, and if anything they hold some jealousy.

While the others ran and searched for safety, Travis seemed to keep his ground and seemed to almost fight alongside the hunters. They have no solid proof that's the truth or not, and they aren't going to confront Travis. But they will keep their eye on him and if he acts out of line, then Neden will finally step in. But while Neden does hold suspicion and some more negative emotions towards Travis, they know he's still human and makes mistakes, and would probably help him if he really needed their help.

With the tragic event that took place recently, Neden wishes they had done things differently. Wishing that they had seen this coming and that they acted faster than they did. But there was no turning back and now they have to repay for their sins, as well as help Greythorne more than they did before. They cannot hide in the shadows and do as little as they did like that night, while sure they did take out a handful of Hunters, it wasn't as much as they could have done. Neden feels like something is coming to Greythorne, something far worse than what just transpired, and they are prepared to defend Greythorne until their last dying breath.

Neden can feel her mortality and as such often makes sure that the beings in Greythorne like Kaylessa have extra protection. To say they are paranoid of the others getting in harm's way again is a bit of an understatement. It also doesn't hurt that Kaylessa goes along with their constant flirting, and has come up with some very interesting and charming retorts. Som to say that Neden has a slight thing for the half-elf is a bit of an understatement.

Elijah is sometimes a little old fashioned, and Rosie takes pride in trying to change that. She's like a younger sister to him, and while his old fashioned opinions are a source of frustration to her, she'd still try and protect him if needed.

alex was hardly more than a child when violet died, and at first he was thrilled to have a ghost as a friend, but after his grandfather died, violet gave alex hope that he'd seen his abuelo again- but he never did, and alex found himself taking some of the grief out on her. as he got older, alex felt a responsibility to the dead of greythorne, but he also didn't feel ready for it, so he responded by ignoring most every ghost he encountered, including violet. after five years of obtusely, and rudely, ignoring her, violet saved his life on the night of the attack, and things haven't been the same since then. there is something supernatural about their bond, now, and alex isn't sure he likes it.
