Should your character die, I would prefer that you create a new personna. If you do so, all of your assets will be preserved, including credits. However, should you decide not to make a new character to improve upon your last one, information on doing so is listed below. Should you want to kill someone, information is directly below.
A death of a character will require 5 confirmed actions. The actions will need to have been launched and have hit. The 6th action may be a killing blow. This rule stands for all variations of speed and turnbased combat.
A character's life may be saved up to 30 minutes beyond the character's death. 5 confirmed actions must be used before the character is once more alive. This can not be through the use of any sort of magic. Only medical expertise can save someone.
You MUST make the proper number of posts for EACH character killed. If a thousand people are in a colony and you're blowing up the colony, 5 confirmed actions and a kill action MUST be used for EACH of the characters. That would be 6000 actions minimum, assuming each and every one of your actions are valid, and there is no defense from those that are being killed.
This includes NPCs.
Actions are valid if:
They meet the proper rules with which the characters are fighting, and hit the opponent. (Making each confirmed action 2 lines at minimum for speed, and 2 posts minimum for turnbased)
-OR-
The character is willingly submitting themselves to death and accepts all actions with a confirmation.
PC items can NOT be destroyed. They CAN be damaged beyond use for the current RP session, but can be repaired for future RP sessions.
NPC items can NOT be claimed by PCs. One session use.
