Hello!
I have posted a 2nd Edition to the STATS..

Some things have changed so please revise.
- Physical/Sporting Ability has been shortened to Athleticism.
- Unsuccessful Charm attempts no longer deducts points.
- Charm does not need to be attempted and can be unintentionally gained.

Vic and I have tried to look through everyone's posts to add up the RP day's stats but it has proved to be an impossible task and there may be things we would overlook.
So, we will be asking No-Go AA+'s role-players to please revise over your own posts with stats. This can be more conveniently achieved by looking through your tagged posts within your character's profile and editing from there.
When you are done, please add [stat] to your character's synopsis. This notifies other role-players who have interacted with you, that they can now add the stats your character may have given them officially.

We apologize for the inconvenience and hope the 2nd edition stats, helps avoid this problem in the future.

If there's anything else that needs clarifying or examples you come across in the RP that you want clarified, please speak out in OOC so I can edit it into the 2nd Edition stats post before editing expires.

SECOND RP DAY HAS BEGUN

If there was something from the previous day you would like to finish off, you may do so in the beginning of your post followed by the new day.

For role-players involved in clubs, your senior characters would be expected to be organizing or running stalls on the school grounds to encourage or attract new members. Be as creative or outrageous as you like! Give goodies, bribe... tours? Anything.
This will also be the moment juniors look around and sign up for their respective clubs as well as meet their fellow club members.
{of course... if you're a bit of a rebel, you don't have to do any of this and just have fun.}

Club Presidents who are seniors may take on their leadership role already but club presidents who are juniors can not (as they have not been deemed elected yet).

I'd also like to add for those updating stats, talking about another character to another character will gain them popularity or notoriety stats. I feel this is the most overlooked.

For example, if Gen talks about Rhys to Cassiopeia and the comment is neutral or positive.. Rhys will gain a popularity point.
But if Gen talks about Rhys to Cassiopeia and the comment is negative.. Rhys will gain a notoriety point.

Please be sure to incorporate this now and in the posts to come.

With Halloween incoming, we'd like to hold a Halloween event!

While costumes are an obvious must, are there any other ideas for event?
If you have any, please post them in the main ooc for discussion.
I'll put a poll up if we have many ideas to choose from.

In saying this, we'd also like this RP day to end sooner than the first so we can move onto a Halloween event at around Halloween as appropriate.

A quick poll about the Halloween Event as Vic and I are indecisive.
Please take if you have the time and as soon as possible.
It will expire in 3 days .
(so we have time to really talk it over/prepare/organize ourselves!)

All we have decided is the event will take place in a haunted castle,
There will be a strict no npcs rule to encourage more character interaction under the guise that this dance is exclusive
And costumes are highly encouraged.

Woo update.
Thanks to everyone who completed the poll for us.
We'll be following through with what was voted on.
The supernatural event is a very close tie so we may settle on a little supernatural event or none at all. We'll see.
As for the anonymous suggestion, Val and I have been planning something like that for a long time for characters who may feel overlooked or lack interaction with others. It just hasn't been easy for us to decide on how to incorporate it into RP in a way that everyone can find fair and enjoyable so please be patient with us. When we have fleshed our idea out, it would probably be very different to what you had in mind but essentially, achieving the same result. Thanks for for the suggestion though! It reminded us of that idea and that we need to work on it. We sometimes get carried away with the RP at present.

Anyway,
Clubs will be wrapping up soon followed by a quick class. If class starts before you can wrap up all your clubs/interactions etc. just summarize as per usual. The class will be happening so people can organize their date to the Halloween dance as voted for in the polls.

Since Halloween is fast approaching, we may not have time for people to ask everyone out and be rejected... feel free to plan your character's date ahead of time.

Everyone will be notified via text from the school number that there will be an 'Exclusive Halloween dance party' at Himeji Castle and of course that you're all invited...
You are (as polls voted on) required to attend with a date and choose a costume.
I have decided not to type up a specific text because ~~I have a stomach ache~~ it shouldn't be overly suspicious coming from the school... yeah?.

Let the otps/match-making/rejection/catfights but most importantly, drama and embarrassment... begin.

CLASS HAS BEGUN!!
With the incoming Halloween dance, we've settled for making the P.E class very easygoing and free so people can continue to socialize and make plans for dates while earning Athleticism points per post in class (with teacher present).
Normally our class activities are more entertaining, we know, but our Halloween event was delayed and we'd like to see it happen asap!

You'll know it was done by us with the obvious gm edit note. =]

I would just like to touch on the 'Charm' stat as it feels overlooked in comparison to Popularity and might be making my Gen posts seem strange.

Charm works differently to Popularity but they are both school reputation affected stats.
While being popular generally means that everyone knows of you, charm means that the people who know of you generally fall for you. This includes being confessed to, secret admirer notes and etc.

In saying that, roleplayers are the exception. You are not forced to feel the way the rest of the school does. This is more of a npc guideline but your characters are probably aware of how the school views the other characters anyway.

After Val and I have edited some posts to include forgotten stats we have realised we need to add a new RP rule.

"No STAT feeding"

This rule refers to being biased in the way you distribute stats to other characters especially Popularity.
Notoriety and Charm has not been an issue as far as we've seen.

We have noticed some posts are popularity feeds. By feeds I mean constant stat giving in an unrealistic sense such as consistently thinking how beautiful someone is through.. let's say about 3-4 posts one after the other. In some circumstances, this makes sense such as if a character has a crush on another, is envious, outfit changed etc.
We're really not strict about this but have to admit it seems really obvious in some posts that it's there just to feed STATS especially when they only go out to certain other characters and nobody else. I think we all have beautiful characters? Just saying.

We are establishing this rule in the interest of fairness.
Stats should be distributed based on your character's perspective and not your own personal relationship with the roleplayer of that character (not sure if this is what it's all about but just saying too).

A way to avoid this could be to write the post first then add up the stats after. That way your post should sound about right!
STAT feeding is not only unfair. It sounds very forced and unnatural so please don't do it.
It is perfectly fine to post without any stats at all if there is no need for any. Do not feel pressured to add some.

Note: We have also developed a new STAT SYSTEM for roleplayers to gain stats through other ways that should be announced sometime soon when we nail the details out.
It is not exactly the spotlight moment suggestion but we hope you will like it!

Oh... one more thing about stats..
But please don't be scared guys! I won't hassle anyone for forgetting this because it's easily fixed.

Try to remember to tag the people in your post who you give stats to even if they are not who you are interacting with.
It's just easier to add up stats from character profile than go through those 300+ posts. =]

In addition, feel free to tag for other people if they forget to as I think this option is open to everyone?
You'd be doing us GMs a solid in helping manage the RP.

However, You can still continue attempts at scoring a date after school. We will try to make sure everyone has someone before Halloween event can really get started. ^ ^
