Hi!

I'm Glimmertea and I have been on the roleplay scene for over 10 years now, when I first stated out on RPG I went by hbee, (i cannot remember my previous full username or password anymore >.> ) and am starting out fresh.

I love dnd and also creating original worlds and characters. My real-life dnd group can only meet sporadically and I am feeling the dnd itch and want to play so so bad, or at least use my dnd characters to role-play and work on creating more of the character and their mannerisms. I just like writing and playing with my characters and making new friends. One of my best friends ever in the world I actually met on roleplaygateway and we've been friends for almost 20 years at this point, which is freaking amazing and just completely unbelievable.

But yeah, I am fine with forum posting as well as chat based rping, large groups/small groups, any really. I just like for everybody to be respectful of each other and to have a great time creating stories and worlds together

Welcome to RPG, Glimmertea! It's good to have you.
Here are some places I think you should check out.
1. The RPG chatbox. This is good for coordinating RPs, getting to know fellow writers, and much more! You already have an account, it was made when you registered as a user. Simply put in the username and password you have on here.
2. The Universes tab. This is a great place to find original roleplays you might be interested in, whatever it may be. We have practically everything!
3. The Multiverse. This is our longest standing roleplay, with a couple million characters, to my guess. There are dozens of wide-scale and small-scale events happening at any time! You can coordinate with other authors to start a story, or just perform an action and see how it plays out. A good place to start there is Genesis, which is where you can find a group to start with, which could be literally anybody, or just stake off on your own. I have someone there right now!
4. INK. You may see that thing next to your username, and you probably were awarded with some when you wrote this post. Don't worry about being rich right away! INK is an in-site currency that you can earn by getting achievements, selling items you make yourself, or selling characters. It's pretty complicated, and if you want to know A LOT about it, just ask Remæus. He made the whole site, and he's been here for over 16 years, so he should be able to tell you plenty about it.
