Re: You should totally read this.

Red Vs. Blue roleplaying. Fascinating, I've never heard of that, to be honest. Though, you have a decent chance of finding that on here, I imagine. Good luck with it.

Re: Famatic Relapse

Jadeling lies, the rules are, in fact, most unhelpful, and Master (the Gateway's hated Remaeus) laid them out in that link in a very difficult to read and understand format. And if you let her know you need assistance, she'll laugh at you and run away, like those employees at Futureshop and Home Dep...

Re: The "New" Post a reply outlook

The emphasis of quantifying the quality of posts is getting annoying, in my opinion. First, by showing people word count, you're motivating them to post more words... I get that. Despite that, more words does not mean "more relevant words." Furthermore, trying to get people to overkill on ...

Re: At All Costs (Interest Check)

It'd be nice to see a futuristic setting that doesn't feature overly futuristic things. I mean, it's sort of annoying when you replace bullets with lasers, bombs with energy weapons, and stuff like that. The setting seems sort of appropriate as it is. Though it'd be nice if the soldiers weren't defa...

Re: OMFG!!! DIABLO III!!!!!

Probably won't find a MMO that'll kill WoW, I know, but I can always hope. Anyway, at the end of the day Diablo III is very likely to be absolute ownage. I still remember playing through all of the originals. Great games.

Re: What made you get into Roleplaying!?

I logged onto a server on Half-Life using the modification called "the Opera" and I suddenly found that my constant killing of people was somehow interrupting things and that people actually had their weapons holstered and ran away instead of shooting at me. It was fascinating. So I starte...

Re: Do you prefer Forum Rp or Chat Roleplay?

Chat-based roleplaying in games is far superior to anything I've seen so far, to be honest. Neverwinter Nights, Guild Wars, World of Wife... I mean Warcraft (never tried it 'cause I hate WoW, but I heard it's good), stuff like that. I think the big thing that sets them apart is the fact that all fig...

Re: How much do you read?

I spend the better part of my time reading textbooks. Not exactly as satisfying as a novel, but, hey, whatever. As for what I've read in my life, couldn't list it. In the last two years I've only really read two things for reasons non-academic, those being "Flowers for Algernon" and "...

Re: FireFox or IE?

Firefox is pretty good for most of my general browsing needs. I usually use Internet Explorer to do technical stuff, though, like test my connection, etc. Firefox is just very bad at handling dynamic IPs and wireless networks, I find, so it's a pain to restart my wireless software just because Firef...

Re: How old-school are you?

I have homosexual friends, Ghost, who I've known before they were even of that sexual orientation. However, I sympathize with you. Due to the way some of them act, I'm uncomfortable around them, and it has nothing to do with sexual advances. I wouldn't call it an old school thing, though. It might b...

Re: The Trantor Fleet Engagement (CK Incursion, Battle #1)

I mean, you COULD just ask me questions about it, which seems to be a vastly difficult concept for most people around here to grasp. I mean, you COULD just stop shoving your reality down our throats. Maybe you need to grasp that? I think so. No offense, but that makes you more assanine [sic] soundi...

Re: The Trantor Fleet Engagement (CK Incursion, Battle #1)

So, like, as I read over your post, Jii, it occurred to me. I was dealing with a politician. Now, fate, it seems, is not without a sense of irony, for as I read away the television just happened to switch over from the Daily Show to the Colbert Report, with Stephen Colbert being congratulated by my ...
