Temporary Hiatus

As some of you have noticed, I've been next to absent this last while. This is due to a severe lack of time; school, homework, work, and dealing with a borderline insane roommate have kept me quite busy.

To elaborate on that last point, many of you have heard of my psychotic roommate that has a tendency to nearly destroy our apartment when things go sour, so I finally got on his ass and took him down a peg, and he was taken aback enough (I'm generally a very passive person) to actually move out, but since he's under contract, still has to pay rent. Win-win for us, lose-lose for him. Now he's back with his parents and still having to pay rent.

The only drawback to this is that he ganked our cable box and canceled it, since it was in his name. No biggie, we'll have it back in a jiffy, and my neighbors are cool as shit and letting us bum their wireless 'til then, but none the less, it's one more chore on my plate. I can't predict when this lack of time will end, but as far as my Admin duties go, the Support Team is covered, and any RPs I was in in the chat are welcome to progress without my characters, just make up and excuse for their absence or some such.

I know you have things under control, because you're awesome like that, but just know that I'm always here if you want to talk about anything.

Best of luck in dealing with everything. I know what it's like trying to balance so many things. Luckily, I live alone so I don't have to deal with douchebag roomates. But anyway, I believe I speak for everyone when I say we hope for a speedy return!

UPDATE:

So, just as I'm returning, some issues have come up. Our psychotic roommate, as mentioned above, is now refusing to pay rent, and instead of our landlord sending a collection agency after him, he's trying to force us to cover Sam's portion.

Fuck that.

We're in the process of getting ahold of some legal advice, finding out what we have to do to to end this mess without us paying more cash than we have. I have little doubt this is going to end in eviction -- hell, if we can't get out of it, we're going to MAKE him evict us -- and I have no idea when it may happen. It could be tonight, it could be a month from now.

So this is my warning, that for one I will, yet again, be less available, and for another, may disappear temporarily at any time. Do not fear, good folks, I shall return. I just don't know when?
