<Smooth...> Well so far it was anyways, he watched hhis senior literally ditch him to go talk to that one girl (Kairen). he cringed as he saw Moki get knocked out of his seat. He found that to be kind of a dick move on Tomoyo's part but he remained silent and jus watched. A few moments passed he sighed depressingly and lowered his head as a few storm clouds began to form over his head. He was sitting there alone as his senior was hitting on a younger student. "Hi...I'm Moki. You must be Bishop? Your senior is trying to have his way with my junior, so I'm here as a temp, until that gets situated.." "Hm? Oh hey.." He looked up at Moki so far his words having no accent. "Yeah looks like it, thanks. Guess I can make a good impression if he's causing more trouble than me. And yes, I'm Bishop it's nice to meet you." he smiled charmingly just being nice and friendly, but his accent stuck out again. "I'm not the kind of guy to make those kinds of moves, I'm more passive aggressive." he nodded and looked to Tomoyo as he came back. "Ahh, the brave warrior returns. It's ok, lesson learned right?" Bishop smirked knowingly and got back to business with his senior taking no offense, he was over it. "Youll see at the try outs. You the captain?" he glanced over to Moki not wanting to leave him out and glanced back to Kairen.
His junior Jack looked pretty freaked out when he first approached him. None of the dudeās actions made Varthur think this way, but the guyās eyes seemed to stare at the sheets of paper as if getting to know about Varthur would be horrifying or traumatic or something .. that was if they were both assuming the same thing about the paper being Q&A on each other as the activity. Varthur felt himself getting paranoid about such small and minor details. Seeing Momo after those three years had made it that way. Man Iām such a goof.. He thought, realising it all. If she hadnāt been spotted, he wouldāve been cool, calm and collected as he usually was. Now all he could do was fear for his life at every turn especially as it appeared Kei and her were getting closer. Varthur could really use an ally right now but he was stuck with this junior who didnāt seem to appreciate him. Varthur rubbed his chin to be rational about the situation deviously in a failed effort of trying to come up with a genius plan that would solve all his problems.
"I'm Jack McCoyā¦" The junior finally responded with his name before yawning, not afraid to show how bored and unexcited he was. āBut I'm sure you already knew that or something, bro. And yeah, we're like a pair of socks or something.ā Pair of what? Socks? Varthur thought over perplexedly until the junior resumed speaking. If that paper is what I think it is, then forget it, I'll tell you everything now. I like video games, girls, storiesā¦ My Mom used to be in the army, and she recently joined the police. My dad owns a popular Karate Dojo, Kyokushin Kaikan if you want specifics, and my Grampa also does Karate, and some Chinese Kenpo. My Grampa puts me through god awful training regiments in an effort to turn me into the successor of our 'Family Legacy' or somethin' like thatā¦ I don't care right now. I've never had a girlfriend, and seeing how things are, I may not have one for a long time." Varthur just stayed quiet and listened as the junior spontaneously talked about himself and his family. Not like he had much of anything else to say anyhow. "ā¦Andā¦Uhā¦I'm NOT a Vegan?ā Jack finished with a pleased grin.
Varthur shuffled in his seat just trying to remember these little facts about the kid so he could at least say afterwards that he learned something before actually checking the paper if it was Q&A sheets. The paper turned out to be blanck as he flipped them over repeatedly. Maybe they were lucky, at this rate after the junior..err Jackās speech, he would have been able to fill it out no problem. āNo sweat, the paper is blank so you really didnāt have to tell me your life story but itās cool bro.. Iāve never had a girlfriend eitherā¦ā he came around to admitting, a little with shame. This junior probably thought he was a real loser; a senior and in all those years he hadnāt caught a girlfriend. There were a lot of pretty girls too. Such a shame if the year ended again and nothing had happened. Not wanting to let the conversation fall into odd silences, Varthur gulped before talking more about himself. It seemed only fair right? āGah so.. Iām not into video games.. I like books.. I get good grades and all that jazz.. and I too like girls so donāt worry.ā He added, a little jokingly to try to get along. āMy mum died when I was young so I never really knew her.. my dad is a businessman and I donāt even know what he does on his trips or even who he.. really is besides my dad. Hardly around and when he is, heās sleeping or motionlessly stuck to his study. So thatās my family in a nutshell.ā Varthur ended thought a bit of depression had escaped into his tone before turning a little to watch the juniorās reaction.
"I'm Maya Kenkon. It's nice to meet you!" Her hand was small in his, he shook it once before letting the soft fingers slip from his grasp. She gave him an obvious one-over; something Silas was quite used to, but not from someone with such a... Innocent face. Strange. "If that was an attempt of flirting, it was a little cliche." Oh my, what's this? Now I'm cliche? Mmm. I'll assure you you've never seen anything like me. āBut I found it kind of sweetā He chuckled, slipping his hands into his pockets. "Don't get ahead of yourself Kitten, that's simply how I address everyone." Suddenly, the girl wrapped her arms around him, and Silas raised his brows. Careful now love. You're playing with fire... And you don't exactly have me on a leash. He watched her go through the contents of the packet, observing what it held himself. Hmm. I wonder what the blank paper is for.
āSo your now my friend!ā He hadn't said anything up till now, just watching her with his head cocked to the side, a faint smile tugging at the corners of his lips. Well... She might be fun... Amusing little thing. All presumptuous and everything. She seemed to catch on to his study of her; "I'm sorry, was I being rude?" "No, not rude." The words were slow, amused. Not rude at all... Hah. Kids these days. "Just blatantly feeling me up." He smirked down at her, "Not that I mind."
She reached up to pat his shoulder. Touching me again. She's real physical isn't she? Like what you feel little one?.. "You're cute but you kinda seem like to much of a flirt." Oh? You only just noticed? He thought sarcastically, trying not to laugh. The kid was entertaining. "But then again...you may be just an insecure boy using it as a cover....." Whop. I take it back. She had balls saying that to a senior. Much less a senior that looked like him. Insecure? Tich. I don't know the meaning of that word.
"All I know for sure is that now your my friend. So, are you going to tell me what this school is about or not?" She slipped her hand back into his. Again, with the claiming me... The composed mask fell away, his countenance changing in an instant. His eyes leveled with her's viperously, lips slipping slowly into a dangerous smile. I'll teach you alright. It's getting boring being gracious.
Silas' fingers wrapped firmly around her own, pulling her suddenly towards him; the girl falling against his chest. His right hand slid around her waist swiftly, lifting her off her feet and onto his shoes in one smooth movement. Silas smiled down at her, spinning her into a waltz on a whim. She was quite light, not at all hard to lead as they spun fluidly through the other students.
"Well now let's see..." Silas murmured against the top of her head, his lips curved with mirth as he met the eyes of those they waltzed past. "How to survive here? Hmm. Don't draw attention to yourself... Blend in and keep your head down. Don't mess with things you don't understand. Oh, and definitely don't do anything unusual. Otherwise you'll be a social outcast the rest of your life." He chuckled against her hair; "... Kidding, love." I was right, she does smell good. "It's only going to take a little time, before someone like you is snatched up. So take my advice, and protect your heart now." His head dipped lower, mouth hovering beside her locks. "Don't you fall in love..." Silas breathed, whispering softly into her ear; "You have to be careful of boys like me. We're out of your control." He twirled her to a stop, dipping her back, with a smirk; "I'm no prince." He let go of her for a spilt second, his supporting arm faking to release her, before it wrapped sturdily around her shoulders again. "But I won't let you down." Silas looked down at the junior, eyes roaming leisurely over her face; "It's not your faultā¦ you don't know any better, and I just don't care." He mused aloud quietly, not caring if she understood. He pulled her upright, letting her free. He was probably confusing the hell out of her. Good. One of his many talents, messing with people's heads. "Basically, if they've got a penis, don't trust them." He said bluntly. "Welcome to Airdalen, child. Any other questions?"

Momo lifted one of her hands to supposedly while fidgeting, modify the position of her eyeglasses to be more preferably comfortable when she was essentially looking out of the corner of her eye with a peculiar feeling she was being watched and she didnāt like it. Her intuition proved correct as she noted Varthur glaring off to where both she and Kei were. There was no mistaking the hate was aimed at her though. Tsk, whatās his deal? she thought finding it excessive. If they didnāt like each other, they could just stay away from each other. No need for a repeated drama. She looked back to Kei with her arm falling back to her side just as he replied with what she discerned as a smile in response to her own demonstrated one earlier, "I don't know either but we can take a seat for now and I will let you ask me anything you want to know until we are instructed further..." Momo blinked, No kidding.. he doesnāt know? she thought but let it easily be dismissed. It wasnāt really a big deal but she had honestly anticipated that the seniors would know more about the program. Maybe the school system wasnāt as organised as it could be. Kei started walking off to as she assumed, look for a place to sit down. However as she took a footstep to follow after him, she recollected that upon entering, she had set her school bag by the side of the hall in order to help out setting up the chairs more effectively. The senior was waving her over but she was really beginning to be concerned. Her first day at school and she had already forgotten about that, she hoped no one had stolen anything. "So any questions about school or even about me?" he asked, waiting for Momo to join him but she wanted to take care of her missing bag matter first. It would be infuriating at the back of her mind and she wouldnāt be able to concentrate on anything else. She put her hand up to gesture a polite āwaitā then adding, āIāll be right backā she said politely though not disguising the serious tone of her worry.
Momo spun around right afterwards making her way gracefully through the crowd to where she had last left her bag. She had somehow proficiently managed to walk about the crowded auditorium without bumping into, touching or bothering anyone. She came across a few interesting scenes though, a girl (Kairen) being a bit clumsy in front of some boys (Tomoyo and Bishop), a boy.. girlā¦boy (Akira)? One of those genders of a person introducing themselves enthusiastically to their assigned junior. Not allowing herself to get distracted, Momo kept walking just slipping a glance now and then as she walked to get to know her year group and the seniors a bit better but one sight she couldnāt stop herself from not pausing at was the couple (Silas and Maya) randomly waltzing close by where her bag was and for a while it was irritatingly blocking her from going to retrieve it. Well at least my bag is still there, the validation before her eyes easing her nerves a little. As the two continued, Momo waited for an appropriate opening to slip past without disrupting. She really didnāt want to get into the middle of it. āTsk..ā she murmured quietly, not for the sake of starting an argument but it was so ridiculous. She bent down slightly to pick up her bag and took a different route on her way back to her assigned senior thinking over what she would say when she finally got there. He had offered her a chance to get to know him better, ask personal questions about him bluntly.
Well it could be worse, Iām not in any predicament like being partnered with Varthur or some flirtatious senior (Silas) who waltzes his junior (Maya) in the middle of the way if that was the case.. could've been his girlfriend he can't keep his hands away from. she thought over, returning to where she was before and taking a seat next to Kei then placing the bag smoothly on her lap. She clicked her bag open to check that her things were still inside while answering his earlier posed question. āDo you enjoy your studies here?ā she asked which was both a question about the school and about himself which she thought of as quite a smart way to go about the conversation if she did say so herself. Her hands fiddled through her bag contents somewhat rushing, just eager to be sure that she hadnāt been stolen from so she could quickly report it while everyone was still in the hall. āIn general though, Iām a curious person and I donāt want to ask you something thatāll make you uncomfortable so if I do so, I apologise in advance and you of course have the right not to answer..ā she tossed in, not for any reason. It had just come out like that, unrehearsed. She just hoped it wouldnāt turn the conversation towards a dead end of sorts or something awkward.

āDo you greet every junior you meet in this fashion?ā She seemed puzzled, trying to slowly work out the current situation she had been in. The senior had apparently perched her on top of his own shoes like a little girl and began to dance with her, it was a bit odd but she was still able to see why he would do it. āSoā¦your saying that anyone born with male genitalia at the school I shouldnāt trust. But youāre my friend and I should trust youā¦..ā A hundred watt smile quickly broke across her features and she looked up into his eyes, beaming. āIf your trying to persuade me from being nice to you, it didnāt work. In fact, I think your an even better friend than before! ā In Mayaās mind, people were good and kind and dishonestly was rewarded with a severed finger so she merely thought that Silasās words were meant to protect her. ā Its nice to see someone care about the type of people I should trust.ā
Thinking about his words for a moment, she reached up and gently grasped his chin, tilting it from side to side. āYou may look like a prince but you donāt act like oneā,she said with a good natured chuckle,āBut then again, if just five people in this room acted completely like prince charming than this would quickly become a very boring school year.ā Her small hand slid down from his face before smoothing out the folds of her extra long skirt. He was such a handsome boy who didnāt know the potential he had, it kind of made Maya feel sorry for him. Then again, pity wasnāt really her game. āBy the way, everyone at this school seems real nice so Iām not particularly sure if I should trust your judgement or not.Though your lack of faith in people could be possible based on a bad experience in family or in friends..... so your not exactly the best person to get relationship advice from." Tilting her head upwards, she studied the auditorium light fixtures on her right, the light illuminating her pale face with a strange glow causing her to look somewhat divine. āBut in the end, who knows?

As Akihisa watched all of the seniors find their partners he stood up to look over the rest of the seniors. As he scanned the room he couldn't see anyone without a junior by their side. Not wanting to make a fuss he simply sat down and begun to think some more about his lack of lunch. ~Why do I have to be so stupid? It would of been easy to just quickly make some rice or something. Uhhh!~ Knowing that no one could see him while seated Akihisa stood up once again and walked over to stand by the wall. As he continued to shift his gaze across the room again he noticed the majority of the attendants were already seated so it should of been easy for his partner to find him.
~Come on! There is some good looking girls in here I have to get one. Please...~ Akihisa's thoughts were cut short when he noticed a female senior still looking around the room carrying two plastic folders. He crossed his fingers as he silently hoped for her to be his partner. ~Damn, now I think about it this seems like I'm a pervert. I'm not a perv I just want to meet a variety of people while I'm here.~ The more he tried to persuade himself the more he felt weird. Not having anything better to do Akihisa focused his attention on another senior and junior on the other side of the room. The senior was a mature looking girl with long dark hair and the senior was a small boy who didn't seem the slightest interested in her. That guy was so lucky to be with her and all he seemed to be doing was sitting there looking away from her in boredom. Akihisa so wished he was that boy but right now he just wanted anyone to come over and talk to him. His mind was clouded with pure boredom.
Momo did follow him but she seemed a bit distracted which became obvious when she dismissed herself āIāll be right backā. He hoped it wasn't because of him but he just sat back in his seat, not worrying about it and taking the opportunity to really see what everyone else was doing. He couldn't help but think everyone else seemed so much more energetic than him, some of them running around and introducing themselves to everyone. He looked over at Silas for a moment, only really knowing him by those little rumors that floated around school, the 'flirt' and he was living up to that reputation right now as far as Kei was concerned. Akira, another fellow senior seemed to be jumping in head first as well, excitedly speaking to the assigned Junior. Then there was Varthur who had been shooting looks over towards Kei and Momo a moment ago and he wondered if Momo and him had a history since he had never really talked to Varthur. He didn't know any of the Juniors besides Momo as this point but he noticed a few of them as well, a few cute girls (Kumi and Kairen) and he saw the guy he had introduced himself to earlier but whose name he had missed (Akihisa). Nobody really caught his attention as a bad person though, they all seemed fine, both the new Juniors and his fellow Seniors, all of which he would get the chance to talk to a bit this year or at least he planned on doing so. It kind of sucked that he didn't even know the people in his class but that was his fault, he would just have to try harder. With that he looked back to the little packet he had received and put it on top of his bag on the floor, deciding if they needed it he could get it, he was kind of tired of holding it.
It was about that time when Momo came back, her bag in hand which made sense, though she could have just said let me grab my back. Oh well, it didn't matter, she could be nervous and he wouldn't blame her. āDo you enjoy your studies here?ā When the question was asked he couldn't help but think maybe he was the worst Senior partner she could have received, he really had no idea about the studies here, he always just barely passed his classes because he never studied. "Honestly, I was so wrapped up in boxing during my Junior time that I didn't pay much attention to my studies. This school has a lot of great teachers though." Kei felt like an idiot, she asked about studies and all he could give her was a vague 'I don't know' essentially. He scratched his head as she fiddled through her bag waiting for her response to his bad answer. āIn general though, Iām a curious person and I donāt want to ask you something thatāll make you uncomfortable so if I do so, I apologise in advance and you of course have the right not to answer..ā When she said that he felt a bit more laid back again though, he didn't mind telling her anything he knew but when it came to actually academics he would be lost, as far as himself or very general stuff he could answer. "I am fine with answering any question about myself or this school that I can. Besides, we are going to be paired up for some time, we should get to know one another." He was going to let her get her questions in first but he was also curious about her, she was going to be his Junior for awhile.
The same thing kept repeating in his mind though, even as he talked to Momo, this was a new year and he had to treat it as such. Kei needed to make friends, maybe even a girlfriend and see what it was like to get involved in school activities for once. At least he had to do all of that until he got the information about his shoulder from the doctor. That included getting to know his Junior, joining new clubs, and most importantly talking to people instead of just sitting in a corner and being content with staying by himself until school was over. "So I have a question so I can answer your questions a bit better and learn a bit about you. Are you here on a scholarship and if not why did you decide on this school?" he asked knowing that a lot of the students here were either wealthy or on scholarships, not that it mattered how she got here but why she was here did matter. He needed to know what to tell her and that depended entirely on her interests.
No blush, not even a blink. She just stared at him with a quizzical expression. Silas took it in stride, staring back at her from beneath half-lidded eyes. Perhaps she was one of those extremely logical people. The one's that didn't have any emotional responses at all... A mini Swato.... Dear god.
Of all the questions to ask... You ask me that.
"Oh jaaaa" He said, slipping into a comical, pronounced German accent; "In my country- we introduce ourselves with dance." Really, this girl was so... Dense. Did she even catch he was poking fun at her? Silas never said anything straightforward. Usually never, unless it was an unavoidable comment, something like "Nice boobs." He wasn't about to start now, just because a junior couldn't take a hint. I'm obliged to babysit you. Not chew your food for you.
āSoā¦your saying that anyone born with male genitalia at the school I shouldnāt trust." Really? Really? Come on. ... Last time I checked, a penis was a manly part. "That's exactly what I'm saying." " But youāre my friend and I should trust youā¦..ā He was blinded as a wide smile broke on her face, her rouge eyes meeting his blue one's with determination; āIf your trying to persuade me from being nice to you, it didnāt work. In fact, I think your an even better friend than before! ā He groaned internally. How is it... She's not blonde? He raised a brow and looked down at her, completely ignoring the shade of his own hair. "Lesson number one:" He said, the tone of his voice dull, almost rivaling that of the resident English teacher in lack of spirit; "Out of everyone in this school..." He took a slow breath, his hands sliding into his pockets; "Don't trust me." That should be fairly obvious. You don't know me kid. Don't start thinking you own me. I might just.... Bite back.
What? She thought him kind? Hah. ... If only she knew his track record here for starting shit. Maybe then she wouldn't be so inclined. "Not so, darling. It was just some friendly advice." He cracked a smile, hissing out under his breath; "You'll need all the help you can get..." She grabbed his face suddenly- Silas was surprised. A girl touching him so forwardly. Not common, as they were normally too afraid to even approach him. Much less force his chin down to look at them. Silas growled. ... You're so lucky you're a girl, Junior.
āYou may look like a prince but you donāt act like one, but then again, if just five people in this room acted completely like prince charming than this would quickly become a very boring school year.ā Silas rolled his eyes, not bothering to try to make sense of her strange logic. He cockily stared her down. Better remove that hand before someone gets jealous. She spoke again, the warm fingers on his cheek trailing downwards. Silas didn't move more than to throw a smirk at her. You can't play my game if you don't know the rules. āBy the way, everyone at this school seems real nice so Iām not particularly sure if I should trust your judgement or not. Though your lack of faith in people could be possible based on a bad experience in family or in friends..... so your not exactly the best person to get relationship advice from. But in the end, who knows?" He laughed loudly, not trying to hold himself back. "What are you, my shrink? Goodness girl." His laughter simmered down, and he smiled. "I'm not the best person period."
Silas reached out and took back the slip from her. "Let's get something straight. You need something from me, I need something from you. I'm your partner." He hummed, his eyes darkening with warning; "Don't be a pain, and I'll try not to be bad." That was all he could offer really. There wasn't a person alive who could tie him down. He'd die before he let that happen. "It's not that you should care, I just want you to know I'm no good." Not that it mattered really. Perhaps she was like all the others; with their assumptions, and questions about who he was. Curious as to why they couldn't exactly grasp him. Get inside his head and mess around with it...
Good luck trying to figure me out, little one. No one ever has.

Jack listened and nodded to Varthur's response, yawning at the end. So the guy says he never had a girlfriend either? and he was acting so chill, too chill for Jack's comfort, as his mind started working up some thoughts on what he wished he'd said back to the Senior, with every time he spoke.
āNo sweat, the paper is blank so you really didnāt have to tell me your life story but itās cool bro.. Iāve never had a girlfriend eitherā¦ā
"ā¦Try to be 'cool' with me again, I dare you, I DOUBLE DARE you MOTHERF-"
Then he proclaimed a dislike of video games, entirely preferring books, and stating his ability to 'kick ass' at his schoolwork, and a claim of 'straight-ness.'
āGah so.. Iām not into video games.. I like books.. I get good grades and all that jazz.. and I too like girls so donāt worry.ā
"Nothing wrong about reading for fun, but this guy sounds like a freaking stiff. Must not have much funā¦'I too like girls?' hah. Ha ha. Ha. Unlike me, I'm pretty sure this guy will totally go gay if he doesn't get a girl soon, seeing as it seems he doesn't have much else to keep him going."
-
"Noā¦Video Games?ā¦Well, That's like, your thingā¦man." mumbled Jack. "I'm pretty good at schoolwork myself, but when it comes to math, I'm a statistical anomaly: If I were to pay attention to all the notes and everything, I still have a 99% chance of failing. Numbers just likeā¦don't like me back, ya'know? Eh, never mind, prolly' notā¦"
Jack peeked over to see Maya Kenkon, that one chick that lived near his house, their fathers' constantly at odds regarding their Karate Dojos. Rumor even had it that Mr. Kenkon and his top students were formerly local members of the old yakuza, now violently fighting against his father's students, Jack having some seriously high and undeniable, for sure potential to be one of the 'soldiers' in the conflict.
But then there was that fellow that looked like a
"Who's that tool?" Asked Jack. "Not that I don't like him or anythingā¦hehā¦.heh hehā¦It's just uhā¦uhhā¦he's talking to this chick I know, she's my neighbor, and nothing else. :D"

Hm.. boxing? Knew he was a tough chap, just knew it.
"I am fine with answering any question about myself or this school that I can. Besides, we are going to be paired up for some time, we should get to know one another." āOh is that so..?ā She automatically replied out loud in the open for him to poke at but it was more of a thought to herself regarding his security on being asked just about any question. It opened up doors to what she could possibly ask next as she clicked her bag shut, satisfied that everything was in order and untouched. At that, an odd silence seemed to wash over them as she presumed he was drifting into thought like she was at that moment. Instead of posing a question right off the bat, she postponed it by letting her eyes wander around the hall with her elbows propped up on the surface of her black leather bag laid out flat over her lap and her hands gently holding up her chin so her fingers were neatly underneath entwined. Starting at a new school didnāt seem like that nerve-racking or thrilling of an experience anymore. She wasnāt quite sure when it was that her bubble burst. Maybe it was due to observing these people she would be calling peers and the general mix of juniors and seniors leading her to think that it was just a school like any other. In other words, that there was no real challenge. Sheād ace this high school system no sweat most definitely in the grades department if anything. Everything else she figured would fall into place. Momo wouldnāt let bullies get in the way of her path to success this time around either. With fiery determination to accomplish a great of many things, her eyeglasses oddly shined as the fluorescent light above hit her lenses.
"So I have a question so I can answer your questions a bit better and learn a bit about you. Are you here on a scholarship and if not why did you decide on this school?" She stared back at him answering rather slowly, āI guess Iām on a scholarship..ā She had this gut feeling that he had most likely asked on account of the brainy touch her glasses contributed to her general demeanour. It was probable that it wasnāt the case at all but it was only natural for her to think that having been told.. a lot. She did find it slightly amusing though the way he had said that.. āHaving a question to answer more questionsā. She sighed, leaning back in her chair deciding to be more detailed in her answer to keep the conversation flowing. āActually, I was at the top of my class in each subject as a kid so as a result and with a bit of luck..ā Momo knew luck had no part in it but she felt the need to tone her situation down a notch to not appear narcissistic or egotistical. She certainly wasnāt. She was just an ordinary person like any other, striving to do the best she could with life always. ā--I scored myself a scholarship here at Airdalen and at a few more other high schools.ā Well pretty much all of them.. āBut this one appealed to me most. Iāve heard-ā She paused at the word āheardā as āreadā was more applicable but she continued, dismissing it as insignificant. ā- great things that Iād like to be a part of that isnāt offered at any other school in this area.ā
Content with her reply, Momo sat upright with her hands presentably clasped over her bag like that of a proper lady before turning her attention once again to all the smiling faces, sounds of laughter echoing in the distance.. moments she could only relive properly with her mother unless internet friends and.. chuckling behind a computer screen counted. āYou know..ā she started to say softly, biting her lip with her head facing the front not making eye contact with her senior. āI lied..ā she admitted with a pause, preferring to hold back but finding no reason to. āI know exactly what the program is including the activities.. I also happen to know the entire school layout off by heart and all the basic things a student should be aware of soā¦ā She bit her bottom lip again as it turned red before finally looking back at Kei. āSo I should be fine.ā The corners of her mouth forced upwards slightly into a warm smile as her eyes closed, tilting her head to the side.
āOh but..ā She reopened her eyes, the cold blueness of them focused again at what was in front of her rather than at Kei, the person she was talking to. āBut I didnāt say that to boast or anything; I just researched all of that.ā She admitted, feeling like a complete dork. This guy seemed like the athletic type further confirmed by his previous answer to her question on studies. She couldāve given the impression of just senselessly rambling about what she knew. āThe reason I brought that up in the first place, is so you know you donāt have to be worried about me and tied down to things like showing me around the school. I can manage.ā Momo just stopped though more words to say kept seeping through her mind ready to be said. This was becoming a speech which was not what she originally intended. āUh.. in shorter words.ā She slammed an open palm against her bag to demonstrate her certainty and confidence to support what she was saying. āIāll be fine this school year but I appreciate how nice youāve been to me.ā The pace of her wording had greatly sped up in that single sentence but she hoped he had managed to get it all. Momo also hoped he didnāt take it the wrong way like she was trying to tell him to āback offā. She just didnāt want to be a burden and thought he should be laughing with the other seniors and not cooked up with a random junior who was.. as boring as anyone could ever be. Even if it was a program, the activity hadnāt started yet really so she imagined it would be alright. Maybe Momo wouldnāt make any friends this year at this rate but at least everyone else around her was happy. That alone brought her a bit of joy.

Miami sighed, walking in to the school quietly. Looking around, Miami tried to slowly figure out where to go. Finally seeing the chalk arrows the teachers left for others, Miami jogged to the hallway to sit. She let out a deep sigh as she sat down into a chair and waited for her senior. Miami wanted to bang her head into a wall, due to her major headache.
She has accidentally banged her head into the gates of the school walking in. Unaware to Miami at the moment, her head dripped a tiny bit of blood as she shut her eyes and learned her head back. Wiping it off without knowledge once more, Miami groaned. Looking around at thoughs who already have been found by seniors, she noticed a boy with a scarf on (Varther). She slightly blushed, turning a light shade of pink almost matching her her.
Looking away slightly as she looked at each senior and junior as thy walked past her. She was completely ignored by almost all of them as more blood dripped down her face once more. Turning back to the boy in the scarf (Varther), she noticed his senior with brown or black her (Jack) , Miami couldn't really tell at the moment due to how far she was. She tilt her head as her hair waved beside her and her bangs covered the part of her face with blood on it.
Looking forward once more to the blank wall, she let out a light sigh as she began to sing quietly. Though many didn't hear her, she know someone had too. No matter who she or he was, Miami didn't care. She only wanted to sing at the moment so sing she would to pass the time. Slowly, she began to panic, thinking almost everyone would stare at her as she kept going.
Her feelings for the school at the moment were confusing. It was way to big, and she knew she could easily get lost somewhere here. She bit her bottom lip as blood dripped onto her hand. Looking down at the cold red drop on her hand Miami whimpered loudly as she panicked even worse.
"Excuse me! B-but does anyone have a band aid or piece of cloth I could use for my head?" Miami shyly called out to others, worried she might of not have been heard by anyone.

Moki smiled at Bishop's kindness, he could see that he had sympathy for Moki, which made Moki feel better, even though he wasn't really upset about what Tomoyo did. Yet before Moki could strike a conversation with Bishop, Tomoyo came back to his junior, and interrupted Moki and Bishop's one on one session. "She's all yours. Man I am so jealous, that girl must like you a lot.no hard feelings right? I better see you for track try outs." Tomoyo came around the bend, patting Moki on the back, who, just got up and turned around to walk back to his junior."As a matter a fact,"Moki said turning his head slightly to face Tomoyo,"me and Karien are going to become BEST FRIENDS," Moki said to Tomoyo, sticking his tongue out."As for the try outs, Gymnastics is really cutting a whole in my schedule, but I'll see what I can do." Moki quickly scurried off back to his junior, until he was accompanied by Ri yet again.
"So you are coming to The Black Spot, to support me right? I'm probably going to need a whole lot of caretaking after I win the fights." Ri was apart of an illegal cage fighting bar, all the important thugs and crooks would gather around to watch big guys like Ri beat each other to a pulp. Moki wasn't very supportive of Ri's way of making quick money, but he was the only one that Ri could really go to about something as hard for him to talk to as The Black Spot.
"Shut up, don't talk so loud," Moki looked up at Ri, almost getting teary eyed, as his large friend shrugged and smiled,"Of course I'm going to go, as a matter of fact, I'm going with you, so you can pay for my train ticket. I can't believe after all the broken bones you've had and wounds, you'd even think about going back to that place. Eventually you're mother is going to stop believing that you're just 'falling down the stairs', Ri." Moki folded his arms as though he was a worried parent."Look, I'll be fine, as long as you're there to support me, okay?" Ri said softly, giving Moki a hug then walked away. Moki watched as his friend wandered off. Moki shook his head, and walked back to Karien.
"Sorry about all that, things can get pretty hectic around here." Moki faked a smile. Not only was he worried about Ri, but he hated going to The Black Spot. He risks so much to even mention that name in public, let alone his life every time he enters the place. Fights have broken out there...guns have been pulled out, what if this time, Moki and Ri aren't as lucky as they have been. What if Moki gets hurt?

"Youll see at the try outs. You the captain?" Said Bishop. He seemed to be a pretty chill guy, acting as if Tomoyo never left. "Well I was captain last year, but we'll have to see." He said leaning back in his chair. He gave another big stretch and put his hands over his head. "You see, in our school we elect captains every year." Tomoyo explained. That is when Moki said. "As a matter a fact, me and Karien are going to become BEST FRIENDS," He looked over at Kairen. Then at Moki "Good luck." Tomoyo said and smiled as Moki scurried off. "Yea, so in our school there needs to be at least three people participating in the sports team or club. Every year it's different. We are very democratic." He said to Tomoyo with a laugh.
He looked over to where Varthur and his partner (Jack) was. His partner seemed to be very goofy and socially awkward. He smiled and waved at Varthur. Then he looked around the room more. He spotted Silas over with his junior, flirting as usual. Then he turned his attention to Kei and his junior. Kei would definitely be joining track this year. he thought hope he is ready for more conditioning. "Man, Swatman is sure taking his time today." He said as he looked up and closed his eyes.
That is when he heard it, a voice, singing. It wasn't the type of singing one would hear on American Idol, but it wasn't the singing heard in the showers of the boy's lockers. In other words it was pretty good. He looked around to see where the voice had come from, and he found the source (Miami). He looked at the girl with pink hair (Miami), and she was bleeding! No. he told himself, I already got into enough trouble for today. I am not going to get into another one. He reassured himself, but his soft spot for helpless girls got the best of him. "Please excuse me," he said to Bishop "I got a girl to save." He said in a playful tone to Bishop pointing at the girl (Miami).
He walked casually over there. "Excuse me! B-but does anyone have a band aid or piece of cloth I could use for my head?" the girl yelled. "you'll need more than a band-aid," he said to her. "You better visit the nurse, soon, but for now wrap this around your head." Tomoyo handed her a roll of cloth he carries around with him, just in case of injuries when playing sports. "That will support you for a while." He said as he turned to head back to Bishop.

Bishop nodded as Moki left, and turned to speak to Tomoyo again and answer his question when a girl asked for a band-aid (Miami). He turned to address her with a smile, when he saw the blood... His eyes widened, and his brained kicked in as he jumped to his feet. <Oh my god she's bleeding!> he was about to jump up and help her, but his senior got to it first. "Oh, uh ok...." He didn't even think that he was going to try and flirt with her by being the guy that 'saved' this bleeding girl. His hands reached down to his bag, and pulled it up. Inside was a small medical bag he had mostly for sports. Because his father pushed him to CPR training and many other medical classes, he could mostly take care of himself with and injury. But he stayed his feet, though still having the intense urge to rush over. You could see the concern in his eyes, he actually had a mental complex to where he was always trying to help people who needed it. And it broke his heart if he was the cause for someone else's pain.
<I don't think a rag is gonna cut it boss...> He watched Tomoyo with large pale blue eyes, looking back and forth between him and the bleeding girl (Miami). Seconds passed, and he couldn't stand it anymore!! She would need more than a rag!! What about the swelling!? How did she get injured? What time did she get hurt? "Actually, umm..." He got up, and pulled a small could bottle of water out of his bag. "If you use this.." He slowly walked over to the both of them (Tomoyo and Miami) "It should reduce any swelling you might get... And don't walk around, that will just make you bleed more since your heart will be pumping and the blood wont-" <.......... FUCK!!! What is coagulate in Japanese?!> He REALLY didn't want to pull out his dictionary right there in front of everybody. "Uhhh.... Y-You won't stop bleeding." He scratched the back of his head, and looked over his shoulder knowing that people heard him. Bishop looked so stupid, but he was just trying to help!! (D:) He held the bottle out towards the girl, smiling just a little bit. Nothing about her attractiveness clicked in his head, it wasn't that she wasn't attractive to him. His brain was just focused on helping her stop the bleeding.

Twirling around in a circle of happiness she quickly stopped, spotting a pair of brown eyes looking at both of them (Jack) . A light rouge tinted the tops of her cheeks before she quickly turned around, her long skirt flaring slightly at the bottom to reveal her bandaged left leg. Why was he looking, why was he looking?! That lazy louse had been watching her! Not wanting to loose her cool, she glanced down at the floor and took a few deep breaths. When she raised her head, her face had its normal pallor and she was smiling. āSo, are you going to tell me something about yourself other than the lie that you not a good person?ā
āExcuse me! B-but does anyone have a band aid or piece of cloth I could use for my head?ā Glancing over at said injured, she quickly reached into her shoulder back and pulled out a small first aid kit. āCāmon Silas! Weāre going to make more friendsā ,grabbing him by his hand she half dragged him over to the injured girl and the small group that had formed around her."Heya",she greeted,"It seems we have a similar problem." Lifting her long skirt up to her knee, she revealed her pale bandaged legs, caused by a boiling water accident from that morning. āNice, a cloth always works in a pinchā, she said, smiling at Tomoyo and opening the plastic pox. She pulled out a small roll of bandages and some disinfectant, quickly handing them to the blonde male (Bishop). āIt seems you would want to do the honors, after all the guys who help girls are usually the ones they're nicest to.ā

āSo, what exactly are we supposed to do?ā she asked noticing he had a sheet of paper and a pen āAre we supposed to get to know each other?ā she wouldnāt mind getting to know him a little better, he seemed really nice. He looked somewhat hesitant about something as some boy brought up the topic of a place called āThe Black Spotā and then walked away, she decided not to push the matter if he wanted to talk about it then it was up to him.
"Sorry about all that, things can get pretty hectic around here." Moki faked a smile. She herself had heard about āThe Black Spotā Bar in the downtown area, it was a place where fights always happened and occasionally a gun or knife would be pulled, her parents had warned her many times to stay away from there. āOh by the wayā¦You mispronounced my name, you said Karienā¦its Kairenā she said hoping she didnāt seem too bitchy.
Kumi grinned bigger as Akira shook her hand. She had a firm grip, but its not like it hurt. Akira seemed like a sweet girl and Kumi was excited to be able to get to meet her. Kumi thought it was awesome to already make a friend.
"Nice to meet you, uhm, I might end up dragging you, so I'm going to apologize way in advance."
Kumi watched as Akira raised her finger to her chin. It was just adorable how she thought. Kumi never saw anyone do that in real life and she just thought it was as cute as could be. * Akira is just adorable! How am I so lucky. * Kumi looked around at some of the other seniors. She wouldn't mind someone like the scarf boy, (Varthur) or the blondie, (Silas), but she would have more of a relationship with a girl. Kumi was also glad she didn't get a snotty girl, that would be awful. Kumi definitely wouldn't trade Akira. She just looked like an awesome friend. Kumi snapped her attention back to Akira and smiled as she awaited for something else. She realized that she had to reply to the earlier statement of Akira's. Kumi thought about what to say, but right before she was about to open her mouth Akira sighed and spoke again. Kumi just listened with her bright smile.
"Yeah, when I ordered my uniform, I guess they didn't look past my name. Assumed I was a male or something, though gender doesn't really matter in my opinion....I've talked too much already! Lets hear about you, you look really pretty and kind of smart, but I don't want to just assume...so tell me a bit about yourself."
Kumi felt a little bad that people always assumed she was a boy. Kumi was just good at looking at details. It wasn't the easiest to tell from afar, but Akira looked like a total girl, she definitely with a few more manly touches, could pass of as a boy if she wanted to. Kumi shook the thought as she was about to think of the things she should share with Akira. Then as she was about to speak again Akira pointed to the blondie. (Silas)
"First lesson, he is a womanizer. Haha, but he's really friendly, so he levels himself out making him a fun guy. Just be prepared to get hit on. Though...he is kind of cute, right?"
Kumi's cheeks flared up a little bit. She then wondered even more if Akira liked that boy. (Silas) Kumi felt a little down about that because she sort of wanted Akira to herself, but she knew that was selfish. She also lost a chance of the blondie (Silas), she would never try to hurt Akira. Kumi felt her hand being held and noticed Akira all excited. Kumi's face turned red a little from holding hands.*She must really like him. To bad.... Don't let it get you down Kumi!* In short Kumi really didn't understand why she was upset about it.... It just made her feel jealous both ways. She shook her thoughts out again and listened to Akira.
"Wait I forgot to ask! Do you like any of the senior boys yet~? I can introduce you!...Sorry if I'm annoying.. I know you probably wanted a guy senior.."
Kumi turned red at the first part and then died down at the second. She thought Akira was crazy. Kumi knew they would be great friends. She would never trade Akira in for a senior guy. Even if they were hot. Kumi then spotted Mr. Swato come back and drop another sleeve to Akira. *Your Kidding me....* Just then Akira started looking around. It was a boy.... Kumi caught a glimpse of the boy's picture.(Akihisa) Kumi flared up in jealousy and anger.
"Looks like we're a group of three."
Kumi was definitely upset. She wanted her senior all to herself. *Now what!? This is just great. I thought Akira was mine. What if the other junior and Akira fall in love?! God why am I so jealous?!!* Kumi grabbed Akira's hand and pulled her closer and down.
"Hey listen just one thing and then I promise I will help find him. Just give me one second to introduce myself before we have a new face," Kumi smiled as she hoped she got Akira's attention. Kumi tried to put all the conversation before into one reply so she wouldn't keep the other junior waiting. (Akihisa) "Don't worry about the dragging thing. I'm used to it and I will try my best to keep up... And yes the blonde boy is cute, but I won't try to crush on him, one I hate womanizers and two I think someone else likes him and I wouldn't want to offend them or anything." At this point Kumi grinned hoping Akira would get who she was talking about. "I saw some cute boy seniors but none to meet at the moment, I saw other cute people two. As a secret between you and me.... I mean this is my darkest secret. Don't tell anyone... I don't always just crush on guys." Kumi whispered this very quietly and leaned in to Akira's ear. "Yeah, anyways I would never think of changing my partner at this point. I was hoping for a guy senior, but I changed my mind, I think we can become best friends!" Kumi took a breath and let go of Akira's hands since she was holding onto them a long time. Kumi blushed because of it. "Hope that answered everything!" Kumi then gave a cute closed-eyed smile.

Momo seemed anything but truly interested when he spoke to her, he didn't really know why, maybe she didn't want him as her partner but he just waited patiently. He may have looked a bit intimidating but he was a pretty patient person, life had made him that way. Luckily she answered his questions, though at first she was very vague. āI guess Iām on a scholarship..ā He couldn't help but think that was a rather bland answer and it didn't even really give him the information he needed, he was on scholarship as well but it was sports, was she on academic or sports? Of course he could guess because of her glasses but he didn't like to assume anything about people, or at least he tried not to. āActually, I was at the top of my class in each subject as a kid so as a result and with a bit of luck..ā A bit of luck? He wished luck helped him in school, he barely kept a 2.7, though his studying routine was almost non-existent. ā--I scored myself a scholarship here at Airdalen and at a few more other high schools.ā It was impressive to Kei, he didn't have an inclination to study or anything of the sort āBut this one appealed to me most. Iāve heard-ā ā- great things that Iād like to be a part of that isnāt offered at any other school in this area.ā Her pause made him wonder why but he didn't think much of it, she probably had a specific reason for being here that she didn't feel like sharing if she heard it offered unique things, which it did. "Well I think you will like this school, for the most part it is a laid back place and they encourage all of their students to do the things they enjoy." That was the truth, this school had encouraged him to box and pursue his dream from the start and even with his injury they supported him, giving him time while most schools would quickly yank away the scholarship.
āYou know..ā Suddenly Momo's voice changed and she became rather quiet, āI lied..ā He was curious, she said she lied but then just stopped for a moment, leaving him to wonder what exactly she had lied about, thinking that there was nothing serious they had discussed yet and so it couldn't have been anything big. āI know exactly what the program is including the activities.. I also happen to know the entire school layout off by heart and all the basic things a student should be aware of soā¦ā So that was it, odd, not that she would know all of this, he was sure other students had done their homework as well, heck even he knew a lot about the sports programs when he first arrived and usually he just went with the flow of things. āSo I should be fine.ā That was when he began to be confused, what was she trying to say, it was almost like she was telling him not to bother with the whole partner thing, something whether he would have bothered to do under normal circumstances or not was something he now had to do, so he just waited, waited for her to clarify. āOh but..ā She was being a bit odd, never looking him in the eye and he kind of had the feeling he was about to be told that he wasn't needed. āBut I didnāt say that to boast or anything; I just researched all of that.ā āThe reason I brought that up in the first place, is so you know you donāt have to be worried about me and tied down to things like showing me around the school. I can manage.ā Okay... Where is she going with this? He wanted her to get to the point, was she trying to get him to leave her alone or not, he couldn't decide. āUh.. in shorter words.ā āIāll be fine this school year but I appreciate how nice youāve been to me.ā
When she finally finished Kei just sat there for a moment, trying to figure out what exactly she was saying since she ramble just a bit. He could kind of understand all of this but it was a bit weird, most people would want someone to ask for questions and help if they needed anything, even if they had investigated their new school. "Okay, I understand but let me say this. I have gone to this school for awhile and I know quite a bit about the school that you probably couldn't find out no matter how much you researched." He stopped for a moment and took a deep breath, "But, I think it would be good for me as well to have a Junior. I am already a Senior and I have barely even tried to get involved in school, I have lived for boxing and right now I am not eligible to do it for awhile. So essentially I am without friends due to the fact that I never got around to getting to know any of my fellow Seniors and to top it off I have to try and find another sport and start taking school much more seriously." He paused again looking around the room at all the people, the Seniors whose faces he knew but whom he knew nothing else about, people he hoped to get to know. Then he turned back to her, now he was the one rambling. "Now what I am trying to say is don't worry about being a bother to me because in fact it will be quite the opposite." He gave her the best smile he could manage and grabbed the plastic sleeve and one of the pens, "Now, if you want you can ask me some more questions, anything, if you know about this school feel free to ask about me or even tell me about yourself. If not, we can draw some pictures, what do you think?" he asked hoping to lighten up the mood even if just a bit. They could just get to know one another and both of them could get to know the others as well.
Akira barely caught it, but she just turned her head when Kei was scanning the room looking at all the seniors earlier, waving casually when his eyes hit her direction, he seemed...calm but she might as well of had 'Nervous Wreckage' tattooed on her forehead... She'd seen him around school, and at the moment she was jealous. Why were all the other seniors having this so easy? Silas wasn't in sight though, but he was good with girls, so she assumed he was having a merry old time with the pretty little brunette junior he'd waltzed, literally waltzed out of the room with.
Akira watched as she saw a million expressions pass by Kumi's face, this girl was really really confusing..but she was so cute.. Akira shook it off, thinking about how Silas told her to not get mobbed by girls. Akira knew she liked boys, but she'd never liked a girl before, so she wasn't sure.. As she was that Kumi's cheeks turned red, her eyes widened, "Kawaaaiiiiii~" and she finally ended up hugging Kumi, it lasted for a few seconds before the senior finally withdrew herself, "A-ah...uhm sorry.." Akira blushed, "That was really rude...." she admitted with an embarrassed smile, "We can be friends right? Silas so far is my only friend here.." Akira blushed when she got pulled down by Kumi, noticing the tension in her expression, was she mad about Akihisa? She blinked slowly, trying not to assume anything, and she nodded, "That's fine with me, I'm sorry." She waited for Kumi to finish, actually listening quite well, then her thoughts got the best of her. Awww..her voice is cute too.. then she turned a dark red, was Kumi thinking that she.. ME!? Have a crush on SILAS!? He's more into those brainy girls.. AKIRA LISTEN TO YOURSELF! UGH! One statement and you're flipping out like it's true! her expression was a mixture of shock and embarrassment, No way.Nooooo way. Never, Ever, EVER!! That boy couldn't be tied down if you used a chain lasso!. She was about to continue her thoughts of protest before Kumi leaned in closer, "O-oh...that's not a problem, don't worry, your secret is safe with me!" she grinned, petting the other girl's head afterwards, Akira really didn't mind that Kumi had her by the hand, but she smiled a bit at the other girl's blush, "It did for now, let's go help the boy for now.. and introduce ourselves. Me and you can try to hang out sometime after this is all said and done."
Akira's expression was clueless as she watched the scenes play out among the room, then she finally saw him! As the crowd shifted Akira instantly grabbed Kumi by the hand, dragging the green haired junior over to the baby-face brunette junior boy (Akihisa), "Hello, uhm, some strange turn of events has you partnered with me and her. " she pointed to Kumi, "I'm Akira Miyuu, Your senior, You are Akihisa-san right? I think I'll let my friend introduce herself.." she smiled as sweet as she could manage, deciding to not call Kumi her 'junior'. It just seemed pointlessly rude.. "I couldn't see you through the crowd until just now, sorry about the long wait.." Akira laughed nervously as she sweatdropped, why couldn't she stop talking? Was this her way of coping with her nervousness? "It's probably my bad.. I'm really short.." she added with a sheepish grin, Akira! Stop it! You're going to scare the poor kid! You're being too forward! "Anyway, track and gymnastics are my thing, I might try soccer out, dunno, we'll see. Once you tell me what you're into.." She pointed at Akihisa, "We're going to have the grand tour of the building... right after I figure out what these blank papers are for..." With that she placed her hand over her mouth, refusing to let herself talk until after Akihisa introduced himself properly. She turned her gaze away, trying to hide her blush, she felt kind of dumb not knowing what the papers and pens were for, but it seemed all the seniors were in the dark about the activities today. Then she looked at Akihisa, did he notice that she was not a boy, but in fact was a girl? She probably didn't make a very good impression on her two juniors.. she caught sight of the pink haired girl that had caught her eye quite a few times today.. she was really pretty. (Momo) How could someone like me even compare to these girls? I look like a boy..even when I'm dressed like a girl.. the mere thought made her want to cry. Then her personality had it's flaws...she couldn't remember the last nice thing she'd ever said to Silas, sometimes she wondered how their friendship with was kept together. She didn't feel like crying, so she tried to remove her mind from it and she pulled something out of her jacket, her eyes widening as if she'd seen the devil, it was just... a few pieces of candy. Chocolate candy, "Oiii, Akihisa, Kumi? Do you want these.."

Tomoyo watched as a small group formed around the injured girl (Miami). Bishop came towards him with a first aid kit trying to get Tomoyo to understand that the cloth would not hold for long. He smiled at Bishop, seeing that he really cares about people's health. Tomoyo understood what he was trying to say, although his Japanese sucked. It was as if they were communicating with something beyond words. He was just about to explain that the cloth was meant to hold for a temporary moment, a girl with brown hair (Maya) came over with Silas. āNice, a cloth always works in a pinchā said the girl smiling at him. The smile was warm, and bright, and contagious. Tomoyo could not help but smile as well. Her rosy lips complimented her pale skin, and her teeth were white as snow. "Exactly," he said to the girl (Maya). "We got ourselves a nurse." then turning to Bishop he said "It was meant for temporary purposes. Good to last about an hour, but seeing that you have a first aid kid, just as our nurse here has suggested, why don't you do the honors of helping this poor girl out." He winked at Bishop and put a hand on his shoulders.
He turned to the injured girl (Miami). "You must be really lucky miss," He said to her smiling. "you've got plenty of people who will be there for you, especially this guy right here." He pushed Bishop to the front. "He'll take care of you real nice." He said winking at her. Then he turned his attention to the nurse girl (Maya). "Well, well miss nurse," he teased. "how did you get to be such an expert on first-aid?" He offered her his hand. "My name is Tomoyo, what's yours?" He asked.

The doors to the hall sqeaked as Mr Drone struggled to fit through the double doors but his height inconveniently got in the way. He ducked, tiptoeing inside as gracefully as a ballerina would until he was successfully inside the hall to which he stood up tall and proud with his hands on his hips more than ready to get the program on the road! He strutted to the front of the stage, causing some juniors to gawk at the mere sight of him with his muscles flexing a little without him knowing as he casually made his way to the front, taking the stares in as compliments to his superior strength that everyone had thankfully noticed. A path naturally cleared out for him as the majority of students seperated to the very sides of the hall either intimidated juniors or seniors aware there was a chance he would fall over and crush them.. by accident of course. The gap between the rows was not wide enough so chairs toppled all over the place like an earthquake had happened and those chairs that were being sat on at the moment were still affected and shaken but he wasn't looking. He got up on stage, his footsteps sounding like that of a massive giant that even a logical person could worry that his weight alone would break the stage right there and then. He bent down trying to pick up the fallen microphone but his fingers appeared too big to get a firm enough grip on it. The mic just kept sliding away.
Mr. Swato, a little disturbed standing behind his fellow teacher Mr. Drone with his butt wagging in the air as he tried to pick up the mic, bent down himself quite quickly and set up the microphone on the stand for the gym teacher's use before slowly making his way down off the stage more than ready to return to his collection of shakespeare classics. Mr. Drone tapped the mic with a finger, the stand almost falling over but he had managed to grab it in time with a sweat drop before starting to greet everyone. "Welcome to the mighty fine AIRDALEN HIGH! I'm the Gym teacher and co-ordinator for sports around here Mr. Drone.. you may have heard about me." He winked as he leaned forward a little, nearly falling off the stage but leaned back in time not to. Another sweat drop at the close call. "So if you join a team and you need a BOOST--" he turned to the side, grabbing the grand piano hidden behind the stage curtain and twirled it around in the manner a basketball player would twirl a ball. "Then I'm your man! DRONE IN THE HOUSE!" he said enthusiastically, dropping the piano at and...on his feet. "Ow owww!" He said, managing to slip the piano off his baby toe and hopping around turning red. He shoved the piano to the side in an instant with his brute strength, causing the hall to shake at the impact of the piano to the wall of the stage but he kept going. It was all normal to him.
"SO anyway! Let's get started!" He proposed enthusiastically, his hands returning on his sides. "For the Junior and Senior program commencing today! Let me just say, these seniors are the bomb ya'll!" he said, his hands suddenly in the position of a rapper in an attempt to be cool. He stood upright again, "If you need a tour, or tutoring or any form of help at all just ask your seniors juniors! I'm sure they would all be more than willing to help.. or I'll call on the lovely lady Ms. Roselle to sort it out for you.." he warned without meaning to, he just loved mentioning that woman. "The activity is you have to write down something nice about the other person.. after the long time I've been late.." Another sweatdrop formed. "Which I am really sorry about! My car broke when I tried to get in it.." he admitted with a sheepish grin and scratching the back of his head. "After the long time i've been lateeee! You must have talked to your senior or junior surely and have a few things to write about them! Compliment their hair or their strength or anything else you've come to admire from your first meeting!" he said folding his arms, looking like a total bouncer or security guard of sorts. "After you've done that, we're having a contest." As soon as he said contest, there was an evil grin forming on his face like he had something dangerous in mind but the grin resided as he turned his head clueless left and right. "What happened to the chairs!?!" He questioned aloud, concerned about the created mess.
āDonāt worry though, Iāll make sure that doesnāt happenā Great. Just what I need. A reformist as a partner. So much worse than a shrink... She giggled, and Silas fought the urge to whap the kid over the head. So annoying...
Suddenly she stopped, whirling back to face him and blushing. Oh ho. What was this? So the nanny could blush. Silas didn't recall having done anything... That must mean... He glanced over her shoulder, his eyes meeting with another boy's (Jack). Well... Isn't this interesting... Dark hair, dark eyes, dark frown. The kid didn't seem all to pleased. Silas winked at him. He didn't know why, he just felt the compulsion to do so.
Got something going on there princess? Maya looked back up at him; āSo, are you going to tell me something about yourself other than the lie that you not a good person?ā Why was she so... Damn happy? She oozed bubbles and positive vibes. It made him want to sneeze. Make of me what you will, you're so damn sure of yourself. But what if you're wrong? Whatever. He already warned her once, he wasn't going to do so again. "Nope." Silas said, flashing his teeth at her, before both of their attentions were drawn to a modest call for help. Maya grabbed his hand yet again, pulling him avidly towards the source. Silas sighed.
It was going to be a long day.
... I knew I should have stayed in bed this morning.
Maya tugged the unenthusiastic german boy along behind her, over to the group standing around a bleeding junior (Miami). He examined the girl indifferently as they approached; Huh. What the hell happened to you...? Then again, head wounds always bled more, perhaps it wasn't that serious. He came to a halt behind Maya, nodding to Tomoyo as he did. Where do I remember him from? Was it biology?... And... Why can I remember Ms. Roselle screaming?... Chipper as ever, Maya produced a first aid kit, handing it over to the blonde boy. (Bishop) Wait. That blonde boy. The junior Akira pointed out earlier. He's not that bad up close.
Maya released his hand to turn and talk to Tomoyo as the senior ditched, pushing his junior partner forwards to deal with the wounded kid. Silas sighed, his eyes rolling over to look at the pink haired girl who stood awkwardly, holding a small towel to her head. The Junior kid (Bishop) held out a water bottle to the girl, he seemed to be fumbling with everything he was trying to achieve at once. A small twinge of sympathy for the two underclassmen and Silas exhaled, leaving to grab a chair for the girl. "Here. Sit" He placed his hand on her shoulder, pushing her down into the seat, then tipped her head up gently. "Junior boy-." Silas extended his left hand behind him without looking back, motioning for the boy to put the bottle in his hand. At the same time, he peeled back the towel slowly, taking in the wound. A gash. Long, but shallow. She wouldn't need stitches.
The cut was still bleeding freely, some of it slowly creeping down her temple. Silas frowned, working quickly to unscrew the cap of the bottle. He didn't become nauseous around blood, but for some reason it was always easier to deal with his own than with another's. Flipping the towel in on itself over the bloodied side, he wet it; handing it to the junior and taking the Kit off his hands. Why am I even doing this? Silas stood, the opened kit in his hands along with the disinfectant and bandages. Helping out Juniors? Hah. He waited and watched, impassive. The blonde boy seemed to know what he was doing.
He has a valid point.. but I wasnāt expecting him to reason with me.
Momo listened attentively sitting at a somewhat side angle in her chair to establish better eye contact with her senior as he continued after taking a breather, "But, I think it would be good for me as well to have a Junior. I am already a Senior and I have barely even tried to get involved in school, I have lived for boxing and right now I am not eligible to do it for awhile. So essentially I am without friends due to the fact that I never got around to getting to know any of my fellow Seniors and to top it off I have to try and find another sport and start taking school much more seriously." Wow.. she thought, her eyes fully focused on him as he talked not having been able to foresee that he was without friends like she was. Momo could well enough understand that, what it felt like to go to school where you never really knew anyone. She had been in the same boat as a kid, the only people she knew beyond a casual hi or hello were the bullies who picked on her whenever they felt like without a care in the world. Varthur didnāt even cross her mind as in all honesty they had never gotten to really know each other. But the first time she met him she wouldnāt soon forget.. it had made them enemies right from the very start. He had some nerve approaching her like that. It was sad to hear that he had lived for something, a passion to pursue boxing but for some reason or another was not able to do so anymore. Though curious, it sounded too personal and even though he had said earlier he wouldnāt mind any question.. she still clinged to her caution.
Even as he started to stare off into the distance, her blue eyes were set on his intrigued by what he had shared and so easily too. Momo would have thought having a lack of friends would make it hard to just share stuff with someone you just met. For that, she respected him having the guts to say who he was with no pretences unlike her who had tried so hard to play it cool at the beginning. "Now what I am trying to say is don't worry about being a bother to me because in fact it will be quite the opposite." When he flashed her a smile, she smiled back impulsively feeling like a weight was lifted off her chest and that they were on even ground about this partnering program. She then watched him curiously as he picked up the plastic sleeve and a pen before hurling an offer, "Now, if you want you can ask me some more questions, anything, if you know about this school feel free to ask about me or even tell me about yourself. If not, we can draw some pictures, what do you think?" she chuckled, looking downward with her hand covering her mouth in a very girly style that she tried to hide as the ends of her pink hair slid over her shoulders. She couldnāt help herself as she couldnāt believe how silly she had been judging him as a tough guy and getting intimidated like that when all along he was a alright.. especially for a male. She was thankful she didnāt get allocated a pervert or some other type of jerk to put up with. āSure!ā she nodded pleasantly, with a real warm smile presented on her face.
Momo was too distracted making her oblivious to the mayhem around her, it was only when the ground started shaking that she started to get worried. She spun her head around so her arm leaned over the top of her chair as she started to view and analyse the situation. A tall and well-built but funny looking in fashion-wise male adult was walking through the hall and as he neared where they were sitting, Momo thought she saw her life flash before her eyes as her chair lurched in the direction of next to her where Kei was at. Not wanting to be a fool and make them both fall over, in the short amount of time with enough of a reflex of sorts, she lurched herself forwards instead to return the legs of the chair to its original position- on the floor. However in an unexpected turn, she seemed to have miscalculated leaning forward more than she would like to. Her chair was falling and she started waving her hands in the air in a brisk panic to balance but it was futile as the teacher took his next step towards the stage. Momo fell off the chair entirely, her eyeglasses blown off her face and the side of her body slamming against the floor. She would have been so embarrassed if she was the only student on the floor after that staff memberās walkā¦ and even more embarrassed if she hadnāt decided to wear shorts underneath today. She got up a little sore but started looking around for her glasses immediately on all fours with her hands spread out trying to feel around for it, but was once again interrupted by the man who had just walked in starting this chaos. "Welcome to the mighty fine AIRDALEN HIGH! I'm the Gym teacher and co-ordinator for sports around here Mr. Drone.. you may have heard about me." Only on the site but I will never forget you for this.. she thought irritatingly. A very dark expression on her face that wouldāve looked a lot more threatening had she the ability to see right now. Everything looked really blurry at this point. She had ignored most of the speech still looking about for her glasses while the situation had calmed down and whilst the task was made a bit easier when the speech was happening with most people standing still and not moving. "After the long time i've been lateeee! You must have talked to your senior or junior surely and have a few things to write about them! Compliment their hair or their strength or anything else you've come to admire from your first meeting!" Yeah yeah.. Momo thought still annoyed, she had already known about the activities anyway. "After you've done that, we're having a contest." Now there was something they didnāt put up on the school website..
Her hand felt something leathery and it was only when she touched the sole of the shoe did she actually realise it was a shoe. But with her luck running out it turned out to be someone she knew sitting there. āWell Well.. if it isnāt blind as a bat Momo..ā She froze recognising that sickening voice as one of the bullies from before. Relying mostly on her hearing, just a bit with the blurriness, she released his shoe and as far as she could tell he had stood up looking down at her. āLooking for your glasses?ā he teased, holding them in his hand and waving them around her face. Momo frowned; she was not going to let all of this happen again. She could already predict what he was going to do, drop them, stomp on them and break them to pieces so sheād be forced to walk home gripping on as many fences as she could just to keep herself stable and not stumble clumsily over obstructing obstacles on the streets. āHmphā she murmured before in an instant, swinging her arm out to majestically hit against his ankle with all her strength, making the senior collapse on his side taken off guard. The good thing about this move was she didnāt require a pin point location of where his foot was, she could briefly estimate with the blurriness and with a whole arm force, she would likely hit something at the very least. As the glasses fell out of his hand, she swayed her own hand about in the air trying to catch it. Okay, the catching part hadnāt occurred to me! Luck returning, she grabbed the bender part it in a knick of time before it made an unfortunate contact with the floor. She placed the glasses on and stood up feeling a bit confident, even going to the lengths of squishing the annoying senior's head with the bottom of her shoe. āAnother plan.. perfectly executed.ā

āIt seems you would want to do the honors, after all the guys who help girls are usually the ones they're nicest to.ā "you've got plenty of people who will be there for you, especially this guy right here.- He'll take care of you real nice." Bishop looked around at the sudden group of people, surrounding this pink haired girl (Miami) and blushed a bit as his senior Tomoyo put him front stage. But why were they both being so suggestive with it? He didn't quite understand, but nodded and continued on. "Hmm?" Bishop watched the only other blonde kid here (Silas) assert himself and actually made this girl (Miami) sit down. He sighed, and lowered his head a bit feeling like he was a bit of a failure since he was blathering his accent ridden mouth with advice and facts and didn't actually help the person in need. He watched Silas intently, moving closer ready to offer any assistance needed after he passed on the bottle. He made sure to keep a tight seal on his lips, to make sure he didn't look more of fool than he already was. He already majorly goofed up, by trying to say a word he didn't know and mumbled the recover.
As Silas seemed to be prepping to fix up the girl (Miami), he saw Mr. Drone stepping his huge being inside the door. <Holy crap! Is he a body builder or something?> When a damp towel was placed into his hands, and he looked back up at the blonde German kid (Silas) not being too much shorter than him which might have been a surprise. He had a swimmer's body being tall, but was by no means lanky. He had muscles sir!! Bishop's eyes were a pale blue, that might have reminded someone of an ice glacier the way it shined. He turned and followed as the man awkwardly made his way up to the stage, and pulled up his own chair to sit at the side of Miami. He smiled calmly, and looked into her eyes. "Alright so... I''m going to clean this up first, and take a good look. That way we can take care of it properly ok?" He nodded calmly, and focused through the shaking ground gently pulling her hair back and leaning forward. He didn't blush or flinch seeing the blood, he'd dealt with stuff like this before. "My name is Bishop by the way... What's yours?" He decided to try and get to know the girl as he worked, he was told that talking kept the victim calm and you eventually got the info you needed as you went. Though, she was in a tragic car accident or anything.... He hoped.
In one ear, he was half listening to Mr. Drone talk about the activities but Bishop was mostly listening to Miami. He needed to ask her a few questions. <Damn... I better wash my hands immediately after doing this. Don't want to pass on any diseases from the blood.> He glanced back to Tomoyo and everyone around him to include Silas again and what appeared to be his junior (Maya)who handed him her own medical kit. However, he ears picked up a few words from the teacher. "You must have talked to your senior or junior surely and have a few things to write about them! Compliment their hair or their strength or anything else you've come to admire from your first meeting!" The boy smiled a bit, he could right a few nice things about all the people he's met so far. But he had to pause hearing the last words to come from the man's mouth. "After you've done that, we're having a contest." That really got him curious, as he went back to work always keeping an ear open for Miami or anyone else in his immediate vicinity. But he just hoped that he wouldn't have to speak in front of everybody. His accent became terrible when he's faced with more extreme emotions.... Or so he's been told.

Amaya brushed her hair behind her ear, picked up her bags and books and walked over to the hurt girl and the boy that was helping her. She tapped Bishop on the back softly to get his attention and looked at the girl, hoping that it was her junior. "Hi, I'm Amaya...I was wondering are you Miami? If so, I'm so sorry that I'm late, I tend to sleep in late a lot, but I'll try better tomorrow. I'm not sure of all that the teacher said on stage I only caught the end of it..." She stopped, realizing that she was being rude, "Oh, wait, more importantly, are you alright?"
