Seer's are people that are born with the ability to see the Gods. Their purpose is to keep the Gods from killing innocents. However, there is an even bigger problem now. One of the Seers has been possessed and is hell bent on destroying everything.

A Seer is born every twenty years and successes their mother or father. Seer's are born from a certain family line. There are only four known families that sire Seers. Not all of the families bare a Seer, sometimes there can be only one Seer living, or there can be more than one. Recorded history dates that there has never been a time so far that there was more than four Seers at one time.

For the past several years there has been only one Seer, but now there are five of them. The balance is skewed, and what is worse, the fifth Seer was left without a Guardian when she was first possessed and she’d been possessed earlier than the twenty year mark. She is also from a family that no one has heard about before ever bearing a Seer. She had been possessed by a very powerful God and killed her Guardian when he tried to remove the God from her body. At the moment no one knows her whereabouts and the other families have not said anything to their heirs because of fear of panic in the families as nothing like this has happened before.

At the moment the families are concentrating on finding out if their children will become Seer’s or not. It is a delicate process for one to become a Seer as no one knows who will inherit the abilities until the last possible moment. The twenty year mark is the only time line they have to judge if their children will be a Seer or not. Once their children turn twenty years old it is determined if they’ve inherited the power. A Seer is chosen when they are possessed by a spirit. When they are possessed by a God or Goddess, that is when they will find out who their Guardian will be. A Guardian is chosen if someone can remove the possession from the Seer. The Guardian does not know that they will be a Guardian until the possession happens on the twenty year mark. Once the possession happens, the Guardian will automatically move to help the Seer and remove the possessing God or Goddess. However, if there is no Guardian around to help, or they fail to remove the God/Goddess, the Seer’s parent’s Guardian will help if things grow to extremes.

Seers will always have their Guardian around them, or close by. Their parents Guardian will escort them during this tenuous time starting about a week before the twentieth day cycle (in other words, a week before the child is to turn twenty years old). It’s a protection measure only, and they do not do anything for the Seer if they are possessed as they are looking for a Guardian to take over. They will only remove the possession if no Guardian steps up to help them.

Once a Seer and Guardian are paired, the Seer will start their one year training. During this year they will learn more about the Gods and Goddesses from their parents, and will learn more spells from their parents as well, but most importantly they will learn from experiences. The new Seers will be thrown out into the world with little to no help because the traditions are that they are to learn by experiencing it all, including being possessed and the very real danger of killing those around them or being killed themselves. Not all Guardians and Seers get along, especially in the beginning when they first learn that one is the Seer and the other the Guardian. However, that’s not always the case, sometimes the pairings work out well. It just depends. In any case, Seers and Guardians learn together and are supposed to be with each other at all times (though this doesn’t happen all the time… as mentioned it depends on the relationship between the two at the start).

After the year mark has been hit, the child will have (hopefully) gained all of their power by then and will become a full fledged Seer. Their parent will lose the ability to see Gods and Goddesses and will no longer be able to use the magic system too. However, their parents Guardian’s will stay with them because the family is still in danger of being attacked by a rampant God/Goddess, especially if their child is possessed and the child’s Guardian loses their life to that God/Goddess. Other than that, all of the responsibilities of being a Seer transfer to the son or daughter then and it is their duty to keep the Gods and Goddesses at bay, to keep them from running rampant around the world destroying everything.

Also, the people in the world do know about Seers and the Gods and Goddesses. However, they do not know everything that comes with being a Seer and the Seers battle with the Gods and Goddesses of the world. They are ignorant to the fact and even if they were to ask the Seers what they do for a living, the simple answer is that they work in shrines of a sort. Seers tend not to give out what they do freely, and will only speak on those matters with their Guardians and other family members. There is also a misunderstanding with the regular humans of the world regarding the Seers and the way they become possessed. Some human's think that when a Seer is possessed, that they are defiling the God or Goddess and will want nothing to do with that Seer. Others think that the Seer's are monsters of a kind and instead of being possessed by Gods or Goddesses, they are being possessed by Demons and think of Seers as twisted, vile beings. Those that think this, usually are the ones who will fight against a Seer and their Guardian. However, there are still human's who do not think either of these things and will simply leave the Seers be.

Seer; a person who can see Gods and Goddesses and is highly likely to become possessed by them. A Seer's power is very potent and ranges from simple constructions to complex ones depending on the person and their understanding of the system and knowing how much they can handle themselves. Seers remain conscious of their actions if they are ever possessed by a God or Goddess. A Seer can cast a protection spell over themselves to help keep Gods and Goddesses from possessing them. The main job the Seer is laden with is to protect civilians from the ongoing war between the Gods and Goddesses.

Guardian; a person who will guard the Seer from dangerous people. They can also protect the Seer from the Gods and Goddesses that wish to use the Seer for their own evil deeds. They can force the God or Goddess to leave the Seer's body via magic. This magic is usually a signature action, meaning that in order to force a God or Goddess to leave the Seers body, they have a certain way of doing so. For example: Kissing the Seer, weaving a spell directed at the Seer’s body, manifesting an object and using it on the Seer. These types of actions depend on the Guardian. The action will remain the same every time to remove a possession. Also, they can also cast a protection spell that will help to keep the Gods and Goddesses from entering the Seers body. The more complex the spell of protection is, the harder it will be for a God or Goddess to break that spell to possess the Seer.

Magic in this world is all virtual reality that can be created from a technology that was discovered many years ago. Technology has advanced so much in this world that nearly everything could be considered 'virtual'. The only solids in this world are the cars, the buildings, animals, humans and the computers (computers are the mainframe of the system).

The way that magic is used is by an interface that someone can bring up by simply swiping their hand on their right or left side in the air, just below eye level. This brings up a screen next to the person with an empty space. Spells are created by using the fingers to tap, swipe, and create symbols and other designs via the fingers on the open screen. Once the spell is finished on the pad, to activate it is to simply put ones hand over the entire spell and drag it off the screen towards what you wish to have it engage in/on. Basic spells are common for every person, they become complex and different as a user grows and adds things to their already existing knowledge of spells. Simply put, a user can experiment with the system to create new things.

Spells are limited. The more complex a spell is, the more time it will take for the system to 'reset' itself and be ready to use for another spell. Think of it like a cool down time. You cannot use the system right after using a spell from it otherwise you risk overloading the system and forcing it to close down on itself. Basic spells take only a couple of seconds to reset after being dragged off the application and put into use. However, as the user adds to its complexity, the longer it will begin to take to reset itself.

Spells can range from healing, creating elemental attacks like a fireball, to creating objects that can be touched. The length of time these virtual illusions last depends on how complex the user created the spell. The basics have an average time of five minutes at most. Each addition to the basic spell will add another minute to how long it will last.

Complex spells are very hard to create. An understanding of the system is required and it's done via trial and error. Not all complex spells will work with the system so it takes time to create something very powerful. When a spell that's been created works, the system will save its premise or basic design, but the creator must remember how they created it in the first place in order to activate it again. Simply drawing in the wrong direction will make or break a spell. Therefore, when making very complex spells, the user either has to be overly smart or have very good memory and luck.

There are many Gods and Goddesses that roam the lands, heavens and other places. Not all of these deities are good, many of them have their own agendas and ideas as to how the world should be ruled. Some are just tricksters who enjoy causing trouble and chaos to the humans. There are lesser Gods that hold very little power and many of them are seeking to gain more power, they can do this by possessing a Seer and stealing power from others. The lesser Gods go after humans who wield power and will kill them by absorbing their energy. Human’s who can create very powerful spells are considered more valuable than others because of their knowledge. Lesser Gods believe that humans with more knowledge are therefore more powerful than other humans and if they absorb that human’s life energy, they will grow stronger, which is –in a sense- true.

The lesser Gods outnumber the powerful Gods that are worshipped by the people. There are only a handful of powerful Gods that are well known around the land. The upper Gods hold power over: Fire, Water, Earth, Air, Destruction, and Creation. The lower class Gods control random powers, some that are considered irrelevant, however these powers are still dangerous.

Here are a couple of rules that are very important to the Roleplay.

1) I want active writers. One to two posts a week. If you cannot make this quota, than don't bother signing up.

2) Decent sized posts. A couple paragraphs minimum please! 600 words or so :)

3) This Roleplay will have suggestive adult themes. What I don't want is sex scenes. A lead up to one is perfectly fine, so long as it's tastefully done. Anything further, take to PM or whatever.

4) Respect each other in the OOC. I don't mind having conflicting characters in RP, but don't be rude to each other as writers.

5) Do not take over another character unless given permission to do so (and let me know too otherwise I'll think you've violated this rule)

6) No overly powerful characters!!! Make sure your strengths and weaknesses balance each other out and during RP if you do not let your character take any damage when they should have, I will force damage myself and you will have to deal with it.

7) Have fun!!! ^.^ I'm very open minded and I am easy going. If you have any ideas to add to the RP please feel free to let me know. I'm down for just about anything.

8) If you've read everything and were good, put in your Character Sheet somewhere : "Power" I'll be looking for it >.>

He would have to be careful today. In a few hours he would turn twenty years old. It made him only slightly nervous as he fiddled with the computer in front of him. Glancing over to the clock in his room he noted that in three hours he would have to go to school, and an hour after that the cycle would end. His gaze narrowed as he turned back to the computer screen and pounded on the keys of the keyboard.

Soran was in the middle of reworking a program he'd made many years ago. It wasn't that it really needed any additional work to it, he'd finished it long before, but that it was something to do to keep his mind from wandering too far and scaring himself. It didn't help that the day before an encounter with both his brother and his father had made him on edge. His elder brother was angry that Soran was going to turn twenty and most likely take the position as the Seer in the family. His father was angry because he didn't think that Soran could handle being a Seer due to his 'rebellious' attitude.

The bright blue eyed boy scoffed at the thought.

Whatever. They both can go and rot for all I care, he thought to himself briefly before shaking his head a bit and continuing on with his tedious program. He was so engrossed in the work that when his alarm clock went off, he jumped a good several inches in his chair and fell off of it entirely. The loud crash that ensued was sure to wake the family, but Soran didn't really care. Rubbing at the back of his head he glowered up at the annoying buzzing machine.

"Damnit.. just when I was getting to have a new idea too," he grumbled before throwing something at the clock, essentially knocking it off the desk and smashing to the floor. The young boy felt a little bit better with that and stood up. Stretching his lithe frame, he yawned. For staying up all night, he was still very much awake. Soran supposed that was a good thing, after all he was going to have to pay attention at school, even more so to his surroundings.

After taking a shower, he dressed and with a swipe of his right hand next to his body, a blank screen popped up with some folders along the top of it. Opening a folder, he tapped a strange looking symbol and the magic system opened up the basic form of the spell for him on the blank screen. His fingers danced around the near invisible looking screen before he swiped his whole hand across it, dragging the spell off the platform. Golden light flooded the floor at his feet, expanding in a large circle that was enough to engulf his body.

The light exploded upwards, causing his hair and clothes to fly upwards with the strength of the spell. He closed his eyes as his long coat flapped upwards around his face, dragging his shirt with it. It only lasted a moment before it faded away. Though he couldn't see it anymore, he could just barely feel the magic that clung to his skin. It was the protective spell that would help to keep him from being possessed. Soran had been doing this spell for years. Even so, he knew that today was the one day out of the other 365 days that he could not fend off a possession. It was going to happen whether he wanted it to or not. Still, the effect of the spell settled him just a bit more than having nothing at all.

As he left the house, the families protector came with him, following behind him like a shadow. Soran frowned as he left the house and headed to the school. He didn't like having a follower that was ordered to do it. Sighing a bit, he tried to ignore that black clad man as he entered the school that bustled with all types of students. All thoughts of his family left him as he set eyes upon two of his closest friends. Waving to them, he joined up with them as they headed to their class. Everything was all laughs now, just the way he liked it.

~~

The bell rang as the class ended and the students were released from their confines in the small classrooms. Soran was beginning to feel edgy. The hour had passed and nothing had happened yet. Even his two best friends were having a hard time getting him to focus on their conversation. It wasn't until he started hearing the whispers around him, some of the students had recognized his last name when he was called during roll.

"He's a Seer... you better be careful around him," a girls soft voice whispered to her group of friends.

"Ugh, a Seer. What's he doing here? I hear the Reigailia family is famous for breeding such devils. Why can't they just leave us all alone, they bring so much chaos."

"I'll feel terrible for the one who happens to get in his way when things go to hell. You know they can't ever control themselves. Such monsters," a boys voice said, his words a bit louder than the others and several gasps filled the hallway. Soran shook, his fingers closing into fists.

Have to be careful... I can't let them get to me, he thought to himself desperately. The whispers continued though as they moved down the hall. Soran was about to snap, he could feel his anger rising to it's boiling point. Finally unable to take anymore he whirled around, one of his friends grabbing his arm to stop him. However, he didn't do anything. He stopped midway as his gaze settled on something right in front of him. The form of a God had materialized in the middle of the hallway and no one else saw him except Soran.

The God's gaze was a dark gold as he slowly spread his lips into a grin. He was taken by surprise, his heart elevating to a pounding race. The protective spell around him shuddered as the God reached out and touched him. The fingers curled around his throat, slinking to the back of his neck as the God sidled up to him. His two friends shook him, trying to gain his attention, but his eyes were locked on the golden depths of the War God before him.

"Hello, little Seer. Aren't you lucky," the God whispered to him, "To have such a powerful God take an interest in you. I'm Yakosa, a War God, and you're going to be my vessel."

"No..." his voice shook with a bit of fear as he glanced down to his right side and attempted to open up the magic system to fight back. There was no way in hell he was going to just sit and let a God take over his body. Yakosa laughed, a rich vibrant sound that echoed in his ears.

"It's a little late to be thinking about that."

The Gods arms wrapped around him in a tight embrace and his spell shattered like flimsy glass. He could feel the presence of something much more powerful than himself sinking down into his skin. It was such an unpleasant feeling, almost like he was choking on water, drowning. Every inch of his frame was taunt, shuddering violently as the God overtook him so easily. For the first time in a very long time, Soran felt genuine fear. Screams filled the hall as many of the students only watched as his body convulsed before dropping to the floor on his hands and knees.

Both of his friends dropped down next to him, fear in their voices as they called his name, shouting out if he was alright and what was wrong. He could only shake his head as he was locked in a losing battle of wills. The God's laughing voice still rang in his ears. Soon the only words that Soran could think to shout out were almost lost as he was engulfed in Yakosa's power.

"Run... get away!" he screamed at the boys before he was overtaken. From his minds eye, it was like he watched everything from under water. The surface was above him and everything was a ripple. He screamed in his mind as Yakosa reached out to both of his friends and killed them. Magic erupted down the hallway, decimating almost everything. Covering his ears, he curled in on his mental image. He hoped that someone would stop him soon, or Yakosa was going to destroy everything while using his body.

Kilia was on the grass in a park with very little people. Stretched out across the green expanse, she stared up at the blue sky. There was no class for her today and so she'd decided to go to the park. It was the end of her twenty year cycle and so she had thought it best to keep away from too many people. Not that it would matter really. Once a God got a hold of her, she would be done for and there was nothing to stop a God possessed Seer from going all over a city and destroying it within a few hours.

She supposed it might have been better to be where more people where that way her chances of having a Guardian stop her was much higher. Still, she couldn't bring herself to do so, even against her Mother's wishes. Fighting just wasn't her thing and she wasn't about to put other people in danger. If her mother knew she'd gone off to the park, she would be in for a lecture. It was bad enough that Kilia's mother thought that her daughter was weak and naive. This would be cause to call Kilia a coward. Even so, Kilia had always thought that the Seers were supposed to be there to protect people, not put them in danger.

There were still two sides to that argument though. If she were possessed in a large crowd, one of them could be her Guardian and stop her without delay and very little damage. If she were possessed where there was no one around, the chances of having a Guardian find her was down to nill and there was the very real possibility that the God or Goddess controlling her would gain a solid hold on Kilia's body, thus making it impossible for any Guardian to free her.

With those in mind, Kilia had chosen to go to the park. There were people, but not many people. Maybe she could avoid hurting people all together and one of them would be her Guardian. Her lips frowned as she scanned the area. She was far enough away from everyone to watch them without looking like a creeper or anything. Slowly sitting up, Kilia dragged her hand through her long hair. Swiping her hand next to her right side, she pulled up the magic system. She'd long since put her protection spell over her body, but it was a weak spell at best.

With thoughts of reactivating the spell, she felt arms wrap around her shoulder and a girlish voice in her ear. Kilia startled. Completely taken by surprise, she turned under the tight grip to see who held her in the tight embrace. A beautiful woman with black hair and golden eyes gazed at her, a wicked smile on the woman's lips. Immediately, Kilia knew it to be a Goddess that gazed at her. Her heart did a flip in her chest before flying up to the back of her throat. Breathing became difficult as she froze.

"I've been looking forward to this. It's been so long since the next bought of Seer's has come. I'll finally be able to gain the power I need to challenge the higher Gods," leaning forward even more, the Goddess whispered into her ear, "I'll be gentle," then laughed.

Kilia's heart lurched and she tried to scream out for help, but nothing happened, no sound came from her lips as she crumpled to the ground. She shook slightly, trembling as the lesser Goddess took over her body. It was rather quick, Kilia's entire world turned into that of an underwater show. Taking a backseat in her own body was a terrifying feeling and to the young Seer was at a complete loss on what to think or do. Nothing prepares you for this... she thought frantically, her eyes wide as she watched her body stand up against her will. The magic system opened up to the Goddess' will as she walked down the grassy slope to the group of people not to far away.

It wasn't until the Goddess' first victim, a young boy of maybe only ten years of age, was killed that Kilia started screaming and trying to regain her own body. It was all in vain, though. Instead, all she could do was watch as the Goddess started wielding her magic to destroy everything before her, taking the lives of many people as she went. Kilia cried as she screamed Help! Someone.. anyone...

"I will not stand by while some idiotic child with too much power inhabits my body." Dante, while faced with an inevitability, was perhaps not the most logical-thinking person. He, as was most likely said before, a coward. He wasn't in the slightest ready to face a possession. He had never even been asked, but it wouldn't have mattered. The world was illogical, he would just have to accept that. Or maybe he was the illogical one, it didn't matter, he didn't want to do it. Either way, today was the day he would have to. He didn't have a choice.

Dante did however, decide that he would try anyway. If the world could be illogical, then so could he. As such, he had searched his mind for every single ward he knew of and had prepared as many as he could physically could. He did not plan on going down without a fight. Well, maybe he was being a bit dramatic, seeing as he probably wouldn't die, but it was still nerve wrecking. The lack of control that is, not the fact that he would be inhabited by a god necessarily. He just really disliked not having control. To sum this up: Dante had made the most complex spell he muster up, which was to be blunt, pretty powerful. Dante did however, know it was in vain. That didn't stop him from trying though. Hope was a very volatile thing.

Xai, his father, had sent Dante away from the manor. Dante couldn't afford to be possessed at his family's estate. No, that would be utterly fucking stupid. Even Dante had enough coherence to know that. As much as it sounded like the safest place for him, it wasn't when he would be around. Especially considering the fact that there was no guarantee that he wouldn't go out of control. Dante, as such, had went as far as he could from the estate. To be precise, he had begun heading towards a very specific forest.

"Oh no."

Luck was not on his side.

That was the first thought that popped into Dante's mind. He had not even come close to the forest, no, he had only made it to the city before... a god just had to show up. Or rather, a goddess, if you wanted to be precise. Or at least he thought she was a goddess, he wasn't quite sure. Okay, he assumed she was a goddess.

"You shouldn't bother with such trivial things." She spoke. Oh right, she existed. He kind of forgot about that in the heat of the moment. "I..." He just stared stupidly, "disagree." Oh wow, smooth. So smooth it could be considered sandpaper, metaphorically of course. In all honesty though, he was shocked.

He did however, manage to regain his wits and attempt to run away. To his disdain however, he found that he couldn't. No, he wasn't frozen out of fear, he just literally couldn't move his legs.. "Now now, we just met, it would be rude for you to leave, Dante." She was taunting him. Now that pissed him off. How mad he was however, didn't matter. He tried as hard as he could to punch her, but she just stepped a inch out of his reach. He didn't say anything witty or sarcastic, mostly due to the fact that he was too mad to think properly. It didn't matter anyway, she had grown tired of playing with him.

She destroyed his meticulous protection with ease. It was, to say the least, embarrassing. He didn't say anything mentioning so, but she had the pleasure of being able to get into his head with relative ease. "I hope you didn't think that a spell from someone as weak as you would be able to hold down a knowledge goddess." She confirmed that she was a goddess.
At least he could have that piece of information to consol- "Are you ignoring me?" She seemed angered, and he actually laughed. Not that his laugh was heard, mind you, he wasn't exactly in control of his body. She pried into his mind, finding something very interesting. "Oh, now this is interesting, you have quite the memory here, Seer." She had access to his memories. That was bad. Then again, it couldn't get any worse than it was now. It wasn't like he exactly had anything compromising in his head, unless you count that one time he did something embarrassing when he was twelve. In retrospect, it was actually kind of funn- "Stop ignoring me." She was, as he now learned, someone who wanted attention.

As such, he simply decided to ignore her as much as he could. She could pout all she wanted. As such, she decided she would go kill someone to teach him a lesson. Her first victim ended up being a child. He didn't even flinch. Not that he could have anyway, but you get the gist of it. Her second ended up being subjected to more pain, but once again, this didn't bother Dante. She, downtrodden, moved through the city, determined to find something that would cause rebellion in the Seer she had possessed. Perhaps she, a knowledge goddess, should have had something more important to do, but she was arrogant and easily distracted. She was smart, but not necessarily wise.

Someone was playing music in his right ear, no wait that was his alarm…what the fuck time was it.

β€œTrist” so that cutesy voice could only belong to one person…”Aria go away”

β€œYou have to walk us today”
β€œWhere the fuck is Mom”
β€œShe went out already.”
β€œWait…what, she told me she was staying in.”

He wasn’t about to mention that he had already told her that today was his birthday, that his sisters being around him was a bad idea. Did she really want something to happen to them, did she want to put them in harm’s way on purpose.

β€œWhere’s Dad,” he finally asked as he sat up and looked at his youngest sister. She was twirling a curl in on her right finger. β€œDon’t know,” she looked at him all innocent eyed. He narrowed his gaze, β€œAria, what did you do,”

β€œNutthing.” He sighed and got up and while checking email and answering messages from his friends and others, he headed toward the bathroom. As soon as the light went on he saw why his sister tried to look innocent. β€œYou know red really isn’t my color, other than my hair” however he knew that Aria probably had scrambled out of his room as soon as he got up. His mom had gotten them all the newest way to apply makeup, basically a small metal box that did it for you. It wasn’t the first morning he had awoken to a different shade of lips or having eye shadow and blush. It had actually had given him an idea for a new make-over game that he knew the girls would love. It wouldn’t take him long to get the code done, but he was working on a bigger project at the moment. He wiped his face and returned to his room and got dressed. He would probably be late as it was for school.

However he had already decided that he wasn’t going to go today.

β€œGrayson,” he called out to his father’s guardian, β€œwalk the girls, I am leaving.” He walked out the door without hearing what the guardian had to say. He wouldn’t put his sisters in danger no matter what, he knew that Grayson would argue that he should be with him today of all days. β€œYeah if my ass of a mother just had stayed home, I wouldn’t have to worry.”

He walked in the opposite direction of the city, he wanted to be alone, to get more of his project done. He wanted to be alone, just in case of someone showing up and taking over. β€œLost in your thoughts, boy” oh fuck why did he just have to have that last thought. He turned and looked, nothing really prepared him for what he saw.

The god…ok so Tristan wasn’t a hundred percent sure on that, and he had been dressed in girls’ clothing to often to have some experience on the matter. This god has a mass of long black hair, eyes as red as (well it kind of reminded him of the shade of lipstick he had on earlier). The rest of him well Tristan was trying not to look at. Yep he was definitely way to pretty for a man.

β€œNope, you caught me at a good time,” Tristan smirked at the other. He stayed perfectly still as the other approached, he knew there wasn’t any purpose to running away. β€œYou are a odd seer,” the god commented, β€œusually they try to run, usually they try to fight, what are you going to let me just jump in there and have some fun.” Tristan couldn’t quite get that last request out of his head. β€œYou don’t care what I want…so either stop stalling or go find another weakling for your fun.” The god stood right in front of him, grabbed his chin and tilted it up so they were looking eye to eye. Tristan lost a little control he had on his fear, and tried to take a step back. β€œOh no, I think you are perfect to play with, but when I look at you, all I see is numbers.”

The possession only took a moment, and in that moment Tristan had his fight or flight thoughts. He hadn’t quite gotten as far away from civilization as he wanted. There were still people around, at least he had gotten out of the house. β€œYou know I think I understand,” he heard the god inside his head, β€œyou have such a brilliant imagination…lets use that.”

Tristan blinked, most likely the only action he could do at the moment. β€œIt’s just your luck to be taken over by a god of creativity, and before you have that thought of how boring, we all got to have our strengths and weaknesses.” The power began ebbing out of Tristan, a ball of darkness be to form in front of him. It started to take shape and all of a sudden there was something out of Tristan’s worst nightmares. The eight legged creature was real as it could be, and Tristan tried with all his might to break the hold the god had on him. He wanted to run now and to fight, but realized it was too late when he heard the scream from behind him. The creature pounced, and devoured its first victim, probably an lady older than his grandma. He tried not to watch, he tried to turn his head. β€œNo, you will watch as my pretty pet runs amuck.”

-----Jonathan----

It was business as usual for Jonathan Robert Grey, oftentimes called Robin, or more rarely Sweet Robin. He was interviewed for a job, and the job recruiter couldn't accept him. He didn't care for the reasons why he wasn't accepted. As a matter of fact, he was only looking for a job because he was looking for a cover for his moonlit job as a bit of a disrupter in the underworld. However even that wasn't going well.

"Well, better luck next job interview." he silently thought in his head as he made his way to his motorbike, which he dubbed the "Silver Flame." Upon mounting it he saw him. A Grey Knight on a grey horse, standing right next to him on his motorcycle. "Not this crap again..."

"How about a Race to that park? Or are you a chicken, Robin?" The Grey Knight stated as he started riding off towards said Park. Sighing, Jonathan followed his "ancestor" suit. This has been happening for quite a while with him now. He wasn't sure if he was seeing spirit, hallucination, or some awkward glitch in the system, affecting his mind in some bizarre way. But at any rate, these two individuals raced through the streets, stopping only at traffic signals and such, until they got to said park where the "Spirit" vanished, leaving him at the entrance. Sighing he decided on going there to try and relax and so he parked the "Silver Flame" at the parking lot.

Walking into the park he breathed in the fresh, sweet air as he wandered along its pathways until he reached a bench overlooking a large slope. He sat upon it and watched the few people enjoy the pleasure of the sights and sounds of the park. He sighed as he closed his eyes, taking in the sounds of happiness. He needed that to balance in the sorrow. But he didn't truly need need it. It was a lie in his head, to try and say he's morally in the Black and White world of humanity.

Morally he lived in a grey world. As Grey as the Grey Knight sitting right next to him at that moment. He chose to ignore it despite how annoyed it makes him. Even if the spirit spoke with him, he'd still not acknowledge him.

"Hey Jonathan." His "Ancestor" said to him, "Look up at the hill. I would bet you'd flirt with that pretty thing in a minute." Sighing Jonathan looked at the hill in front of him and noticed a slightly attractive figure near the top seemingly taking in the sights. He sighed in slight annoyance at the spirit, even though the pink haired woman did somehow catch his eye somewhat, and almost seemed to just tempt him to go to her even though she's not directly looking at him.

"Not in a million years you pain in my-" he was about to say more then he needed to say to get accidental attention on himself, the girl in which the "spirit" was mentioning suddenly seemed to start cringing as she suddenly fell to the ground and then looked almost entirely a different person when she got back up, as if she was taken over by something else. "A Seer?" he thought in his own head. He had heard how seers would become possessed by Either Good or evil entities, but didn't they usually have a hired bodyguard or something always at their side?

"Then where's hers?" Jonathan thought out loud as the Possessed Seer suddenly started on the attack phase. He had no time to think about a strategy so he had to work fast. He swiped to his right and opened up his spell screen and created the spell necessary to summon 'Grave'. His six shooter pistol shone in the sun as he spun it before checking his ammo and swiping to his right to create an ammo type he felt was necessary to either try to help, or impede the girl.

However, little did he realize the spell he made for said bullet, would be a spell necessary to help this particular woman in the future. Loading his pistol in a hurry he ran towards the woman just as an explosion occurred behind him where people were fleeing propelled him towards her. He used this opportunity to point his gun at the woman, and fire. The bullet flew towards her but midway, it transformed to a transparent bird of prey, flying towards her as if it was swooping down for prey.

If the bird of prey managed to reach the woman's shoulders it's talons would pass through the flesh and grab at whatever was possessing the poor woman and attempt to fly off with it to drop it elsewhere. Jonathan however, flew straight over the woman and crashed onto the slope before rolling down it and stops close to the bottom, with Grave falling right on his stomach.

In a daze he looked up at the sky and noticed the Grey Knight was looking down at his injured form he groaned in a medium sized pain. "That was a bad idea." He muttered before blacking out from the pain of his fall.

"Eh what can ya do you little Sweet Robin?" Was the only reply he heard from the "Spirit."

"I'm confused Mr. Aethus, what's happening to Libidinosus's character?"
He's getting possessed Abel, remember? It was a part of that handout sheet I gave you.
"OH! YEA! I ate it, it was pretty looking . . ." :D
. . .
:D

"Well, in any case, can you give me some of that Fancy Shemancy Texts that they got right above us?"
No, because I have no idea how to do that.
"Oh . . . say, Mr. Qu- . . . qeee . . . que?"

"Potato, can you teach Mr. Aethus how to write like that?"
Please no
"Oh, please yes."
Gods damn it, Abel. Please shut up!

"What's a Damaria? I keep seeing that right next to 'setting' and then it blocks the setting! Whats the setting!"
Gods damn it, stop that. I'm writing your story out! And Damaria IS the setting!
"Oh, ok."

". . ."
. . .
". . ."
Soooooo, can i go?
"Yup."
No more questions?
"Nope."
Ok, good. . . now where was I . . . Well, lets just get to all the juicy bits

One moment, Abel was heading to the market to a companion for his pocket potato, Sir Tatertots the 3rd, the next, he had been transported to the seven circles of hell itself. Suprisingly, the denizens were very cooperative and kicked him into the abyss and, shortly after, kicked him out. They were so nice, even with when he insessantly annoyed them for information like how hot the lava pools were or deep the abyss was, they still helped him get out. Wait . . . did they help him out . . . or kick him out . . .

He shrugged that question instantly, for he had a new one. Wh-

"So do I have to kiss Mr. Libidinosus's character to get the thingies out of him?"

He had absolutely no idea where he-

". . ."
. . .
". . ."
. . .
"That was really mean Mr. Aethus."
. . . . Lets just get back to the story.

Abel had absolutely no idea where he was, but when he had been punted out of the hell, Abel flew out incredibly fast. So fast, that he couldn't comprehend what was in around him until he smashed into the ground with the force of a thousand rampaging rhinosaurauses.

"Owwy, this is really starting to hurt."
Shut up

When he came to and looked around, Abel saw the portal from hell somewhere in the sky, meaning that he had been shot out at high speeds. Luckily, the painfully hard concrete broke his face and there was absolutely nothing damaged . . . other than him and the ground.
Then he saw another person, one that seemed very off. Despite Abel's strangeness, he had always was a super perceptive guy. I mean, most people would not assume that a floating, eye-glowing person as someone strange or different in anyway shape or form, but not him.

HE WAS SUPER SMART.

". . . now you're just insulting me Mr. Aethus."
Oh, come now Abel. Its just for the sake of the story!

Abel stood up while staring down the strange man. Even though he had only been on this world for less than a minute, he was determined to stop this evil thing and save the day.

He reacted quickly pulling out a rock and readied himse-

Wait, Abel what are you doing. Oh my god WHAT ARE YOU DOING. STOP.

[Abel instead walks towards Dante and speaks. "I have a really mean voice in my head that's telling me to stop you or something. Can you tell him that he's a big jerk?"]

I swear to the gods, I hate you Abel.
"Meany" >:P

Tiny, penny-sized objects were crawling all over her body, into her clothes, through her messy, loose braid. Her pale salmon colored lips parted to scream her terror, but no sound came out. Her skin was burning and itching, and she could feel the multi-legged creatures start swarming around her face. What is this? What's happening? Daddy! Help! Trapped, unable to move, the dark haired beauty was turned into a little girl again. Her eyes, which were shut tight, started to leak tears. Edgar Jadgarus' handsome, yet lined face flashed into her mind, smiling, then angry, then pained.... his mouth stretched into an "O" of terror as a monster started to consume him, his strong, weathered hand reaching out to her. She used all her might to go to him, to grab his hand... Then is happened like it always happened.

His beautiful, azure eyes...

Turned blank.

"No!" Kazar bolted upright. Her chest heaving as she gulped in air. Her pale fists clutched the black, satin, sheets of her bed as if desperately clinging to her sanity. The mirror across her room reflected her pale, sweaty face and the youngest child of Jadgarus buried her face into her hands, as trembling knees slid up to her chest. Five minutes passed by, then ten, then fifteen. It was ridiculous. A bitter smile forced its way onto Kazar's face, and she glared angrily at her reflection.

"Happy death day, Dad." She bit her lip as the terror of her nightmare passed. It always took a while to compose herself from that dream. His death came too soon. It wasn't right. She couldn't let it go, and had no desire to. The gods were cruel, and evil and it pained her to think of other's experiencing the same anguish she felt every day. Two years had already gone by, but the nightmares never let up and continued to plague her sleep at least once every week.

"Might as well go get some cake," She slid out of bed and quickly dressed into a typical outfit of tight but worn black jeans and a black and white striped sweater that reached mid thigh and slid off her right shoulder. Grabbing her wallet, Kazar pulled her waist length hair into a pony tail.

Sweets always soothed the chills, Kazar got when she dreamed. It was the best treatment and comfort, and eating time was the only time she was able to relax. There was just something about food that made her happy in a way she hadn't felt in two years.
Cars honked, people cursed, and the familiar sounds of the city lifted her moods as she walked quickly to the her favorite cafe.

Then came the screams.

Her jumbled nerves from before almost caused her to run and hide, but her curiosity got the better of her and Kazar pushed through the people as they ran, slamming into her petite form. It took a while to get to the source of the scare, but once her azure eyes locked onto the glorious red hair and struggling violet eyes, her heart stopped.

Bump.
Bump.
Bump.

Kazar inhaled.

This was a seer. This beautiful young man, not much older than herself, was possessed by an evil god. And for some strange reason, inside her very essence, there was this insane urge to protect him, to save him.

There on the ground a few feet away, were the remains of an elderly lady. Ice blue eyes hardened. On a single word command, foot-long ice daggers were in each of her palms.

The eight-legged creature almost had her running. It reminded her too much of those from her dream, causing bile to almost form in her throat. Disregarding it, she slashed at it, her instincts on over drive, jumping and dodging when needed. Her ice blades were strong and soon the creation was destroyed.

But how do I free him? Kazar tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. An incantation coming to her mind, her pale hand darted out quickly, grabbing the guy's shirt, bringing him in closer.

Before she lost her nerve, Kazar pulled him down, and pressed her virgin lips against his forcefully.

There was a young man that came into her line of sight as the chaos erupted all around her. Through the watery visage she was looking through, his handsome image was distorted slightly, but his intention wasn't. Lifting up a weapon that looked like a gun, he aimed it at her. Kilia cringed inwardly, thinking that perhaps this person was not her savior in the sense of a Guardian, but her savior in the sense of ending her life and that of the possession. She closed her eyes, shutting out the watery vision of his approach.

Still, she could see him because the Goddess possessing her had turned to watch him as he ran at her as everyone else was running away. Her lips pulled up into a wicked grin and her hand lifted up off of the magic system she'd been using. About to unleash a spell on his unprotected body, Kilia shook inwardly, cringing at the thought that he wouldn't make it in time. However, she was wrong as he fired off a shot and the bullet streaked at her. Midway, the bullet changed, transforming into that of a winged bird and crashed into her shoulder.

Though Kilia didn't exactly feel the birds claws digging into her flesh, she did feel it grasp onto something else entirely. Flapping it's wings hard against the air around it, the small creature took off straight up into the air. Hooked in it's talons was the form of the Goddess. It was the strangest feeling having the woman removed from Kilia's body as it was. She went rigid as the Goddess was pulled out of her. When she was completely free, Kilia dropped to the ground on her hands and knees panting heavily. Finally back in control of her own body she took a moment to just reorient herself.

The first thing that almost took over was the fear of what she'd just done, tears began burning on the edges of her eyes. She bit her lip though to keep from crying. Even so, she couldn't stop the shaking that had taken over her entire frame. Horror spread through her as she recalled the awful event that took place not but a few moments ago. Her possession lasted a few minutes at most, but that was enough for the Goddess to cause the destruction she'd done.

Lifting her head, Kilia looked around to see what exactly had been done. The once green park was charred in many places, craters littered the park area and there were many injured people that were still fleeing the area. Kilia's heart clenched tightly, her throat closing a bit as she took it all in. However, what caused her to seize up almost entirely was the few bodies that the Goddess had managed to actually kill before her savior came into the picture. Blood stained the green blades of grass and the clumps of dirt that had been upended all around.

Kilia couldn't bare to look and quickly turned away so that she wouldn't be sick to her stomach. Her chest constricted, her breathing neared hyperventilation as she knelt there. It took her a while before she remembered that the young man had shot her and then disappeared somewhere on the hill side. Lifting her head, she searched the area for him, trying to find him. She wasn't too sure how far the bird had carried the Goddess, but she knew that staying in the park was definitely a bad idea. As she was about to stand to go find the boy, a strong hand gripped her upper arm and she cried out in fear.

Half expecting the Goddess to have been the one touching her, she turned quickly only to face that of her mother's Guardian. The man pulled her upwards with his usual stony features. His dark gray eyes searched her frame for any injuries that may need tending to, but otherwise he said nothing to her. He was definitely a cold man, something that Kilia didn't quite care for.

"You're Guardian is over there," he said, his voice rumbling as he spoke. He pointed towards the bottom of the hill where the boy had rolled to. Kilia, in fear, wrenched herself free and ran towards him. She wasn't quite steady on her own legs after having been possessed, and so she ended up tripping part way down the hill. With a short cry, she flailed a bit before tumbling down and landing on top of the boy with a soft grunt.

Groaning a bit, she pushed herself up and shook her head before looking over at him. With a gasp, she quickly scrambled off of him, "I'm so sorry!" She said quickly, the caught herself again, "Are you okay? Did anything happen to you? You're not hurt are you?" She asked in rapid succession before starting to look him over for any crippling injuries.

-----Jonathan----

"Your Guardian is over there."

He was resting from the slight tumble he took, he was sure he had a few bumps and bruises, nothing too serious. But he heard those words distinctly as he felt himself trying to come back into the world of the awake. But in his head he assumed he indirectly gained a job interview and passed their questions with flying colors. Which meant one thing in his head. But before he could assume it, Jonathan was interrupted by the Grey Knight who was obviously listening.

"Ooh, that's very interesting, hey Robin! I think they're talking about you!!" He heard the "spirit" shouting. "Hang on, whoa! She's coming this way!!"

"Why doesn't that whatever it is just shut up and vanis-Owww!!!!" his thoughts were interrupted when something landed squarely on him. His eyes shot open in pain. "Ow my gut!" However after he said this he was staring at the Woman's face, his emerald green eyes were staring squarely at her shocking, innocent blue eyes. She was beautiful, to a point. He even almost blushed bright red! But the moment quickly past as she gasped and scrambled off him.

Jonathan got into a sitting position, looking at the woman up close now that she was within slight arm's reach. Shaking his head from being knocked out for so long he rubbed his head trying to figure out exactly what he did to knock the Seer back to normal. But for some reason his eyes kept wandering back at her, almost as if her appearance was like a magnet for his eyes. He had to refocus his mind in order to actually talk to her and answer her question.

"Okay, okay, first off, don't let yourself get possessed like that otherwise it won't make my new job any easier. I say new job because apparently mr. Longshanks over there ain't your bodyguard." He stated whilst glaring at the person. "Where were ya like, three minutes ago?!"

Sighing he turned back to the woman to continue answering his questions. "Secondly, yes I'm okay, only the fact I got sent rolling down a hill after firing my new spell wasn't exactly what I call reputation building, I feel embarrassed by that." He stated as he sighed, "and only in my pride. Also possibly a very tender bruise on my stomach from when my gun fell on me."

Jonathan gave a soft chuckle as he scanned the area of the park and whistled to himself. "What a mess." He thought to himself with a sigh. "Okay, so, since apparently I helped you out I guess I'm a, whatever you seers call a bodyguard. I guess that's acceptable I suppose, been looking for a job anyway."

"However, before I introduce myself, lemme tell you my....." Jonathan said, trailing off when he was once again, mesmerized by this woman's eyes. He tried to shake his head trying to keep his thoughts in order. "My... Doh alright, I usually want some rules or none but it seems we're gonna have to make it up as we go." He finally said with a mere smile.

"Wow. You got hit by love medicine or something?" The "spirit" asked only to be interrupted by Jonathan attempting to get up but he winces sharply from the pain of the bruise on his torso as he sits back down. He glared at the ground and then at the location of his bruise.

"Still tender... Curse it all" he said angrily. "I hate injuries!" After he said this he realized he didn't give his name. "Oh right, forgot. Jonathan Robert Grey. Friends call me Robin." He raises his hand towards the woman to have her shake it.

He watched several more people being torn to shreds, by the creature (ok so yeah he was fucking afraid of spiders, but blame that on the sister who thought it would be cute to put a couple of live ones in his bed). He wasn’t frozen from the lack of will to move, but now he was frozen with fear. β€œDear me, you don’t look like your having any fun,” came in voice inside his head. His body moved but not by his own conviction, the followed the creature . "What gave you that brilliant idea," he answered back to the voice in his head. "Was the look of shear terror, or the unwillingness to move."

He tried to look away once more, but then he heard a scream…within his head. β€œShe killed it,” the creature was now coagulating on the ground in a mass of black substance. He didn’t really understand who killed what, until he felt her lips on his, her details were fuzzy. β€œUm…” wait was that it, was the god really gone. You still in there .

Something was extremely off, he didn’t feel possessed anymore, but he didn’t know if that moment happened between the second of the destruction of the creature and her kiss or afterwards. He had a bad feeling that the blob on the ground was going to come back to life or something. So he pushed her away gently, just so he could really clear his head. β€œThanks,” well what else was he suppose to say. He turned his back and walked a few steps away

So that was it, now his future was decided for him, he didn’t know if he was happy or not. His father would be, but what about the others. He turned back around and really looked at the girl in front, he started at her feet, yeah the outfit wasn’t doing anything for him, he was pretty sure it was hiding a lot. He perused her hands and her arms and then made it to her face. Her eyes were what made him finally stop, they were breathtaking, deep blue and endless. β€œSo you are my guardian,” man he didn’t mean to make it come out so nonchalantly. He had felt it in her kiss, the connection between them, he didn’t know what to expect, but this sort of surprised him. She didn’t look like much, yet he hadn’t really seen her in action. He sighed and looked away so she wouldn’t see that conflicting emotions run across his face.

Of course…it had to be a girl, at least she doesn’t look all prissy and stuff. Damn, why am I doing this, I shouldn’t judge a person based on her looks, god knows she’s probably thinking something along the lines of how much of a jerk I am. Of course maybe she isn’t like me in the least, I guess I should at least introduce myself.

He turned back to her, β€œI am sorry, this morning has just seemed to be messing with my manners, I am Tristan.”

Ok that didn’t sound too bad, maybe a little stuck up, and manners, when had he develop manners.

It was a weird sensation... but not entirely unpleasant, the kiss, not that she had anything to compare it to. As she felt the dark, aura leave the body of this young man, a hand firmly but gently pushed her back. Stepping away, she released the front of his clothes, sheepish. She tried to fight the blush that was crawling up her face. What was she thinking? A kiss? Really? Why not something else? She was pulled out of her thoughts by his voice.

β€œThanks,” he said to her, before walking a few steps away. He has such pretty hair... Why did mine have to be so dark and depressing? Kazar's face felt hot as he not- so- subtlety looked her over. Forcing herself not to fidget, Kazar's lips tilted up in a pleasant, polite smile, a habit she took comfort in. Straightening her posture, the guardian looked up, a tiny bit startled as she met violet eyes. But she kept her composure and parted her lips to speak. However, before getting a word out,

"So you are my guardian," He didn't exactly sound thrilled and Kazar's face tightened. She was short, and she was female. Not exactly the most impressive combination... plus she was wearing her bum clothes. Why now? This must be a terrible first impression. Plus! I kissed him! What if he's not into women? Blue eyes, now a tad bit icy, narrowed as he sighed and looked away. Your first impression isn't exactly the best, either. Obviously conflicted, she waited politely for him to speak and get his thoughts in order. Guilt started forming in the back of her mind though she pushed it down. It must suck for him, how I'm his guardian... sorry...

He turned back towards her and she gave him her full intention. So his name was Tristan... She smiled again, though it didn't reach her eyes.

"I'm Kazar." She said, her voice smooth and confident though she felt anything but. "And no need to thank me. Now that it's my new job, it will be happening a lot more frequently, I imagine." The petite girl tugged at the hair tie, letting it tumble down her back and shoulders. A lot had already fallen out after the... she glanced at the dark blob, the skirmish. Her cheeks heated up again. I must look like such a mess! That thought was soon forgotten as she continued to look at the remains of the giant monster. The adrenaline that had surged through her veins, had given her a high she had never felt before. It made her feel so alive and powerful. It was so thrilling and made her feel fluttery inside. She was a guardian! Dad, I've taken a step in the right direction. Now I can protect the people, in this small way at least. I'll do my best so no one suffers from losses, like I had to.

Joyfully, now, she smiled, showing perfect white teeth, eyes sparkling. "I was just about to get some cake, I know this really great place a few blocks down. The Baker gives me the greatest discounts too," Her hands brushed off a few stray leaves from her old, woolen sweater. "And I feel like you don't really like me now. And I admit, I wouldn't want me as a guardian either." Shrugging, Kazar grinned "But your stuck with me and I hope we'll get along." She met his eyes again. "I won't let you down." Her head dipped casually,as she walked passed him, humming a tune under her breath. It had taken her a lot of courage to say that to him, but now it felt free. She figured she shouldn't come across as a pushover, he seemed a bit scary.

After a few feet, she glanced back, "Come and keep me company?"

Yep, that’s a great first impression you make there, Tristan, congrats on being your normal self.

He needed to relax, he knew he was way to tense, usually an hour or two in front of a computer helped him with this. His inner conflict…well that would probably take days. β€œKazar, that’s different, but it’s a cool name.” This time he wanted to slap himself, β€œYou know…,” he stopped. β€œ I mean…” it just seemed words had left him. He stopped trying to think of something to say while he was listening to her, β€œI really didn’t to see you, kill that thing, you probably did a better job than I could have. I should have been more ready,” he didn’t say that last line to make her feel better because he probably be hearing from someone later on.

β€œCake, I don’t think I can eat right now, but it certainly sounds better than anything else I had planned.”

Well he hadn’t really had anything planned, except for skipping school, he hadn’t really had a thought past just getting out of the house, away from his family. ”And I suppose we should get to know each other.” He gave her a half-grin, a upturn of only half his mouth, it looked even weirder than it normally did because he really didn’t even feel like giving that much.

His com decided to beep at that moment, but he ignored it. He already knew who it was, and he wasn’t ready for that shit storm yet. Not only could he hear the lecture about leaving without his sisters, but he could probably hear the lecture about…what if he had his sisters with him. No it wasn’t good enough he had chosen to walk away from his only protection at the moment, but dear God what if had he had chosen to do what his mother wanted him to do.

Yeah that wasn’t confusing in the least…

"Okay, okay, first off, don't let yourself get possessed like that otherwise it won't make my new job any easier. I say new job because apparently mr. Longshanks over there ain't your bodyguard. Where were ya like, three minutes ago?!"

"Uh... I'm... sorry," Kilia said to him, though she knew it wasn't going to be the last time this kind of thing would happen.

Her mother's Guardian didn't say anything in return as the boy glowered up at him. Kilia flicked her gaze between the two of them as she felt the tension rising slightly. She stuttered a bit as she knelt there next to the boy. Unsure of what to say she was slightly relieved that he continued, but a bit startled that he turned his attention directly onto her.

"Secondly, yes I'm okay, only the fact I got sent rolling down a hill after firing my new spell wasn't exactly what I call reputation building, I feel embarrassed by that, and only in my pride. Also possibly a very tender bruise on my stomach from when my gun fell on me."

"Umm... and I... kinda fell on you too," Kilia added softly, her cheeks taking on a pink hue as she dropped her gaze to his abdomen and then up to his face. Reaching up she brushed a lock of long hair from her face, tucking it behind her ear in an embarrassed fashion.

"Okay, so, since apparently I helped you out I guess I'm a, whatever you seers call a bodyguard. I guess that's acceptable I suppose, been looking for a job anyway."

"Guardian," Kilia offered softly, though she was sure he didn't hear her as he continued.

"However, before I introduce myself, lemme tell you my..... My... Doh alright, I usually want some rules or none but it seems we're gonna have to make it up as we go."

"What... like rules on how to be a Guardian?" Kilia laughed a bit as she sat there. She could tell that her mothers Guardian was slightly impatient, but she didn't mind at all.

"Still tender... Curse it all. I hate injuries! Oh right, forgot. Jonathan Robert Grey. Friends call me Robin."

"Robin," Kilia repeated softly as she lifted her gaze to look at him. Then she smiled and took his hand that he offered, it was warm and the grip strong, "I'm Kilia. Kilia Yve Linovahle. And... we should probably head to my home. He isn't very patient," she said, motioning over to the man that had his arms crossed over his chest, foot tapping impatiently, "Everything will be explained by my mother. Well most everything anyway. Its... it's a long story," she said as she stood up and brushed herself off. Offering a small smile, she waited for him to follow.

-----Jonathan----

He watched as she got up and brushed grass and charred dust off her clothing after shaking his hand. "Kilia." He stated to try and make sure he got the name right. "That's an incredibly pretty name." he thought in his head. It sounded almost exotic yet so common, how could anyone mix it up?

Jonathan silently braces himself to stand as he hopped to his feet. He heard Kilia mention that they had to go to her house, and that the imposing figure tapping his foot in an impatient manner didn't like to be kept waiting. "So, you're house huh? Well if that guy has your ride I'll follow you guys on my Motorbike to wherever your home is." He smiled as he followed the two to the exit of the park where he'd board his motorbike yet again to follow them.

---Half an hour Later-----

He was driving close behind whatever Vehicle Kilia and her Grey Eyed friend were traveling in with the Silver Flame. He noted that they went to a house beyond city limits that had the biggest forest he ever saw so far in his life. He was almost shocked at its immensity. "Whoa, Big trees." He muttered to himself by the time the group reached the driveway of this house.

He stopped his motorbike and got off and looked at the layout whilst waiting for them to come out and take him inside and show him around. "How are you able to afford this much space Miss Linovahle?" He asked in a plain curious manner.

"Obviously her family has either deep pockets or are a bunch of hippies." The grey knight riding up close to him said. Every time Jonathan thought he was finally done seeing that thing for a day, it turns up at least once more to torture him. And he can't do a single thing about it at this moment otherwise Kilia might think him a fool or worse. What could he do?

"Hey, stop worrying about that stuff buddy! Just follow them and ignore me!" The "Spirit" said angrily on annoyance. Jonathan finally did a mock swatting of the air as if to get rid of a flying insect bugging him. The Spirit's mood then turned from annoyed to amused at how he was covering up this whole mostly one sided conversation. "Buzz off you." Was all Robin had to say.

"Alright, fine but remember, be yourself." The Grey knight said before vanishing.

"Flies hate my presence." Jonathan stated in a small amused Manner. "Now then. You were saying how we need to see your mom about me??"

Peter

Peter O'Cyrus was getting his school supplies for the day together, wanting to just avoid trouble as best as he could before ending up getting himself into trouble. He also thought off the good apartment he'd gotten at a good price of rent, Which was a good thing for his part time Job. He felt thoroughly excited for this new chapter in his life.

That all changed when he heard the screams going on in the hall around the corner. Jumping at the chance to see what was going on, he rushed towards the source and found a boy with blonde hair causing havoc, although he didn't look like himself.

"Hey, buddy? Ya mind not causing destruction?" He asked in a plain manner, but the person seemed to ignore him as Peter sighed, "Alright. You asked for it." He waved his hand to the right as he drew out a custom spell, not really paying attention to what kind of spell it was as he summoned a spear that looked like a glowing Yellow Fire. Taking the spear in hand he threw it at the blonde.

If it reached the person it wouldn't harm him physically and pass through him, catching whatever was causing the trouble on fire instead. "Wow, that's a new ability! I gotta save that one!"

Yakosa turned to the sound of a boy calling out to him. Soran flinched inwardly as he watched through the watery image that was his minds consciousness, at least a small corner of it. He felt his smile growing as the War God eyed the boy that appeared before him.

"Hey, buddy? Ya mind not causing destruction?"

Yakosa laughed, and turned his attention back to what he was doing, "Are you enjoying this?" the God's voice filled Soran's mind, causing him to flinch and cover his ears. He shook his head violently, trying to rid himself of the awful feeling of the God invading his body.

"Leave! Leave!" Soran screamed, trying to will himself to gain his own body back, but to no avail. Yakosa laughed, hard. His laughter filled the hallway, but soon ended as something struck them. Soran gasped as he saw a spear of a sort go through him completely. The God, though, had a different reaction. Yakosa screamed as he was lit ablaze. He pulled out of Soran's body roughly, causing the boy quite a bit of pain in the process.

Soran clenched his eyes shut as he felt the War God leaving him. It felt like Yakosa was ripping him apart as the God left his body. His cry of pain echoed in the hall, reflecting the screams and yells from the students who were injured or caught in the explosions. He dropped to the floor on hands and knees, panting heavily. It felt good to have his body back, but the feeling that was left over was certainly going to make him sick.

Yakosa's inhuman cries were right behind him as the God was still struggling to stop the flames that engulfed him. With a glance over his shoulder, Soran watched as the burning War God finally manged to stop the fire. When he finished that, Yakosa glowered at the two of them. Turning over, Soran scooted back towards his savior, or rather his Guardian. Swiping his hand, he opened up the application for his magic and quickly sought out a protection spell. As he worked through it, Yakosa opened up his hands, golden fire filling his hands.

"Someone likes to play with fire. I can to," the War God hissed through clenched teeth. Soran realized that he couldn't possibly get a spell done in time and quickly scrambled to his feet. Whirling around, he lunged at the boy who saved him. Barreling into the other, they both went sprawling into an empty classroom as the blast of power rushed through the hall. Soran gasped as he felt an intense burning along his hip and thigh.

The force of the explosion threw them both a little further into the room than Soran first intended. He rolled off of the boy and into some chairs that tumbled around him. Groaning a bit, he shoved two chairs off of him and sat up. Looking around the room he shouted for the boy, "Hey! Out the window!" Hopefully the boy understood him, they were on the first floor after all, so the jump would be nothing at all.

He forced himself to stand despite the bleeding burns along his thigh. Hissing, he pressed his hand down tightly on the wound as he limped heavily towards the window. Behind him, he could hear Yakosa just barely entering the room, "Where are you running off to?" the War God growled as he prepared another attack.

"Kilia."

Kilia smiled brightly and nodded, "Yup," she had to admit, her name sounded kind of nice coming from him. He had a nice voice too. She blushed a bit at that thought.

"So, you're house huh? Well if that guy has your ride I'll follow you guys on my Motorbike to wherever your home is." he said as he hoped up to his feet. She admired how nimble he was.

Clasping her hands together behind her back she rocked back and forth on the balls of her feet a bit, a bright smile curving her lips, "Mhmm, back to my house. He does have a car. I'll ride with him this time," she said though she really wanted to see Robin's bike. With that she followed after her Mothers Guardian and were soon driving to her estate.

~~~
They pulled into the long gravel driveway some time afterwards way out of the city limits. The enormous trees that served as her backyard seemed to hold the house in its place. She got out of the back of the black car and quickly looked for Robin who had just parked his own bike behind them. Getting off of it, his gaze swept the area.
"How are you able to afford this much space Miss Linovahle?"
Kilia smiled brightly, "The family is... well endowed you could say. My father works for a high end company. That's were all the money comes from. Actually, most of the families that are Seers' are endowed in one way or another," she added at the end, a bit of a musing tone in her voice.
"Buzz off you."
His voice caught her attention and she glanced over to him with an eyebrow raised. He answered her soon enough though, saying that bugs didn't like him. She laughed at that.
"Now then. You were saying how we need to see your mom about me??"
"Yes, my Mother is the Seer before me and she'll teach you and I more about this whole ordeal. Just be wary that she's not the easiest person to get along with. She's... kind of cold at first, but she means well. Just bear with her, if you can," Kilia explained. She would have done more, but the sound of the front door opening and several pairs of feet moving across gravel caught her.
"Kilia. Who is this?" Her mothers' sharp voice hit the air like a cold knife.
"His name is Johnathan Robert Gray. He's my Guardian, Mother," Kilia answered, her tone changing from that of bubbly and cheerful to more refined and without a lot of emotion.
"Johnathan, hu. He doesn't look like much. You're sure he's yours?"
"Mother!" Kilia hissed before catching herself, "Yes, I'm sure. He extracted a Goddess from me not but an hour ago."
"Hmm," the woman that resembled Kilia put a hand on her hip as she examined the boy before her. Her lips were thin and her gaze was cold. She was only slightly taller than Kilia herself, but the woman was small of stature as well, "Well, come inside. We have a lot to talk about. Lets start with the basics," Mrs. Linovahle didn't wait for them to actually enter the home or get an answer from either of them when she launched into explanation.
"A lesser God can take over a Seer just as easily as a more power God can. A lesser God's possession happens a bit faster than a more powerful God. We're not sure why that is as it would make more sense for it to be the other way around. A Seer will experience a possession differently based off of what and who is possessing them. For example a lesser God won't put a Seer through any intense pain when being possessed, most likely because they lack a whole lot of power. A more powerful God, one with stature and the like, will put a Seer through hell. They also tend to fight back once they've been removed where as a lesser God runs from the situation once they're removed from a Seer's body.
"Which did you encounter, Kilia?" her mother asked as they entered the house and gathered in the living quarters. The living room was enormous, with a high ceiling and a loft over head that peered out into the living room. Old styled fans, pictures, and other antiques filled the walls and tables that were in the room. There were three couches, each a rich brown color that added to the dark, earthen tone of the house.
"A lesser God," Kilia answered, not really enthusiastic about the whole situation.
"And how did you free her," she turned to Johnathan.
"He-"
"I asked him," Mrs. Linovahle cut in, snapping her fingers briskly as she watched Johnathan, never turning her eyes upon her daughter who stiffened in her seat.
-----Jonathan----
"Oh, that explains a lot then." Jonathan stated as he looked at the view. This didn't last long as He heard the front door opened and a woman almost strikingly similar to Kilia walked out to meet them. After the short banter he heard he learned this was Her Mother, the Previous Generation's seer. Then came the part where she stared at him.
He instantly felt his heart sink when Mrs. Linovahle made eye contact with his Green eyes that they almost turned to a plain frightened hazel green. He shook off the fear to try and keep his composure otherwise he was sure he'd get kicked out of this establishment immediately. Nor did he talk back when he heard her say he didn't look like much.
"Wait till I show them my Silver Knight Spell." he thought to himself. Though he was not too keen on doing that lest he want his magic system to be on cool down for a whole day. Instead he simply followed the two women inside the house whilst he listened carefully to what Kilia's mother had to say. He took in most of it, especially the part about the Gods being the entities, but surely there had to be a nice god, there had to be, he was born to a family who went to church for Pete's sake!
When they got to the living room he simply went for a seat nearest to Kilia but straight across from her mother. Then came the part about the question of how it all went down. Luckily before he traveled to the house he saved the template for the ammo type used to free Kilia from the goddess. He could at least say that with absolute earnest and confidence as his green eyes sparkled with said confidence. Hopefully it could ease the small tension between mother and daughter as well. "Must be tough love." he thought.
"To put it bluntly Mrs. Linovahle, I shot a transparent Bird of Prey at Kilia which flew at her and grabbed the Goddess and flew away a good distance with her. It probably dropped her at a hard landing spot. I had to make this new spell on the fly." He stated plainly in a polite manner. "Does that cover how I did it? I had no time to pull out my usual equipment for fighting so I had to improvise."
-----Peter----
Peter thought he saw someone catching on fire but it wasn't the apparently relieved boy who pushed him away just as an explosion occurred, propelling them into a room further. "What the Heck was that?!" He noted however that now wasn't that appropriate time for questions and answers as the now limping boy told him to get out through the window.
"You sir are nuts!" He stated as he grabbed a chair and threw it at the window, breaking it before going to pick up the boy and then leaping out of said window and running towards where he parked his car. "Let's get out of here!" His instincts then told him to hurl several more spears through the open window as he fled with the boy in tow.
"By the way, Name's Peter! What's your name little buddy?!" He shouted as he ran for his dear life. "Smooth move Peter, making friends whilst running for your dear, dear life. What's next, we got out and eat chili dogs at the local hot dog place???" he thought in his mind furiously, more angry at himself than anything else. This day had so much potential. Where in heaven's name did it go so wrong?
"To put it bluntly Mrs. Linovahle, I shot a transparent Bird of Prey at Kilia which flew at her and grabbed the Goddess and flew away a good distance with her. It probably dropped her at a hard landing spot. I had to make this new spell on the fly. Does that cover how I did it? I had no time to pull out my usual equipment for fighting so I had to improvise."
Kilia's mother lifted an eyebrow as she listened to the explanation of how Robin had extracted the Goddess from her daughter. All the while, Kilia herself tried her hardest not to squirm too much as she sat next to him and watched her mother. She knew exactly what the woman was thinking. Linovahle shrugged her shoulders as she sighed deeply. Reaching up, she ran a hand through her hair, brushing it back from her face and tucking it behind her ear, much like how Kilia did.
"As long as it works. You'll have to work to make it more refined, Johnathan Grey. Know that the spell you used will be the only one that will free her. There's no changing it now. Also realize that it was done on impulse meaning that just because you dragged out this new spell of yours, doesn't mean you did it willingly. Being a Guardian is a hard task, it means that you're going to be following her around every where she goes. You will have an indescribable urge to protect her when a God or Goddess shows up and tries to posses her.
"Should they posses her, you'll be driven to use that spell as many times as it takes to free Kilia from that possession. In simpler words, it means you have no control over your own actions. So apologizing for making this spell on the spot is nothing to me. It simply means that you're indeed a Guardian for her. You should also know that you're her one and only Guardian. There will be no one else for her. Should you die or become in any way unable to help her, no one else will do it for you," Kilia's mother paused in her lecture.
Her gaze narrowed at the boy who sat on the couch across from her, "You understand, right? Even if you don't want to do this anymore, there's no going back now. You have a job to do and I expect you to do it to your utmost capability," Linovahle stood up then and brushed off her clothes a bit before walking around the couch to head into a different room of the house. She paused in the doorway, "That's all I can do for you. The rest is up to you two."
Then her mother left the room. Kilia frowned a bit as she glanced over to Robin. She sighed a bit, though she'd caught the underlying tone in her mothers voice right before she left. The woman was worried about her daughter, but she wasn't in the business of showing it, "Sorry about that. I know she may come off as cold and abrasive. But... she means well I know."
"What the Heck was that?!"
The question seemed rhetorical, so Soran didn't answer really. He only gave the order to go out the window which the boy listened to. Grabbing a chair the youth hurled it at the window as he called out, "You sir are nuts!"
Well... maybe Soran was a little crazy. He was a Seer after all. The blonde haired boy struggled to go after his Guardian, his leg hardly holding him up at all as it burned painfully. Gritting his teeth he used the desks to get as close as he could. However, the boy who had broken the window rushed over to him with different ideas. Hauling him upwards, the youth literally picked up Soran off his feet and leapt out the window.
Startled and completely taken off guard, Soran gasped as he was hauled up and over the shoulder of the stranger. His heart pounded heavily in his chest as both hands gripped a fist full of the boy's shirt as he was thrown over the shoulder like a sack. The boy ran across the school yard, hurling spears behind him as he went. He's really good to be launching those while carrying me he thought with a faint blush. Soran hated the fact that he was being a burden.
"Let's get out of here!"
"Yeah, I would agree," Soran said in reply, though he wasn't sure if his Guardian heard or not. Looking around as best he could, Soran noted that they were headed towards the parking lot. He must have a car... it's the only logical reason to race towards that area, the Seer thought to himself.
"By the way, Name's Peter! What's your name little buddy?!"
"L-little?!" Soran repeated, his face now completely red across his nose and cheeks. He fumbled around as he was still being carried and tried his best to be dignified, "I-I.. I am not little! Wait.. that's not the point... I'm alright, you can put me down now!" he hollered, trying to heave himself off the boys shoulder. Part of him was grateful to be carried as the wait time was lessened for Soran knew he couldn't keep the pace the young boy was, but the other part of him disliked it.
Once he was put down in the parking lot, he glowered at the ground as he waited for Peter to open the car. Once in the vehicle, Soran grumbled a bit as he put on the seat belt, "I'm Soran," he muttered, then proceeded to tell the man a specific address that was not his own, "Go there. It's a Seer family that I know of. Well, they don't know me specifically but all the families know of each other in some way. The Belvedere family will be better than mine," Soran muttered the last part as he leaned against the door with his arm up against the glass of the window.
With a glance back towards the burning school building, he winced slightly at the memory of having been possessed. He hoped that the Belvedere family wouldn't mind his intrusion. The last thing he wanted was to go to his own home and officially announce that he was indeed a Seer. He closed his eyes, an eyebrow coming down in frustration as he tried to ignore the implications of that.
-----Peter----
Peter had reached his car, which was red with white stripes in color as he then set the boy, whom he learned was named Soran. As soon as he unlocked the passenger door Soran managed to get in before he could even say the magic words. He sighed in open thought he he ran to the driver's side and got in and started up the car.
He then heard an address to go to and he raised an eyebrow in question as he explained. "Dunno why these things you say makes sense but alright. Hold on." As Peter said this he started to drive out of the school parking lot. "Alright we are so out of here!" He said as he drove on towards the address Soran gave him.
----
After several minutes Peter drove towards the Belvedere driveway. "We're here." He stated as he looked around to find a spot to park in and started to do so. "You surely have high end friends buddy. What are these guys rich or something?"
-----Jonathan----
Jonathan could feel her stare upon him and Kilia's Mother explained further on what a guardian does for a seer. At the mention that he made his spell mostly on impulse, and that he has to work on refining his spell as it'll be the only spell to use to free Kilia from any possessions in the future, almost lit some of his warning bells in his head. She went on to explain further he's Kilia's one and only guardian. "Which means we virtually have no freaking backup." he thought in his head. The Grey Knight, who was standing behind Jonathan at that distinct moment, moaned in despair at the news as well, Jonathan didn't bother to acknowledge or yell at it for the moment, they couldn't see him so he can complain all he wants.
Jonathan continued to hear the explanation, which was basically wrapping up his role and that essentially, there's no turning back from it all now. He only nodded his head in understanding as Mrs. Linovahle then made her exit before saying the rest is up to him and Kilia. That was the only part that confused him. He was about to ask further on about it before Kilia started to talk to him.
"No need to apologize. I'm sure your mother did mean well Kilia." He stated as he simply stretched his legs. He also stretched his arms, in which he made a well aimed punch at the Grey Knight's head. The Grey Knight clutched his head in pain before glaring and vanishing. Jonathan sighed. "So I guess it's official then huh?"
At her confirmation he decided to ask Kilia the question that's been bugging him. "What did she mean by the rest is up to us? I'm slightly confused by that."
Its funny how the last thing any of the Belvedere family would call their house is a place where rich people live. It was; compared to others, small. It felt way to small for the all the different personalities that lived in it. Standing there in the driveway was a well-dressed dark haired man. He was trying to contact someone, by why he was doing it outside wasn't apparent until one came closer.
It sounded like someone was going into hysterics inside, there was loud screaming and the crashing of objects from the inside. However the man seemed perfectly calm as he was conversing finally with whomever he was trying to reach. The tale end of the conversation was heard by the two when they did finally decide to approach.
"I understand perfectly sir, I will do whatever you wish."
The communication was shut down and the man turned to finally inspect who was within the car that pulled into the driveway. . A smile of no significance appeared on his face, "Master Reigailia, tis a pleasure, I am Grayson, Master Belvedare's Guardian, my master and his son Tristan are not at home, but I do expect them here shortly, is there anything I could help you with." The brief introduction and offer to help was interrupted with the coming of another car.
The driver exited the car after stopping and parking, he opened the door to a gaggle of girls. The first one to step out, lollipop in mouth and skip to her step, ignored the two boys completely as she approached Grayson, "Is my snack ready," all she got was a nod to her answer as Grayson had his eyes fixed on the guests. It seemed to satisfy her and she went to the house. The next one was only slightly taller, and she glanced at Soran and Peter, but again ignored them, she didn't even talk to Grayson. She was apparently to busy listening to something, and walked by them into the house. Grayson smiled, but his smile was for the last two of the sisters, as they approached. This made them hesitant for a second, as if Grayson never smiled. This was when he spoke again, "Julianna, your father asked me if you could help your mother, and if miss Francine could help the other two with their homework"
Julianna who was the older of the two looked at the house if it held a doom like fate for her and her sister. She glanced at the two boys and then turned her attention back to Grayson, "Thank you Grayson, I will take care of it, I apologize about this morning." Francine though was truly fascinated by Soran and Peter, she looked like she just saw her favorite pop-star and she was in fangirl heaven. "Francine, lets go." Francine was awakened by her sister's serious tone, she gave the boys her biggest braces filled grin and followed the other into the house.
"I am sorry about that," Grayson finally addressed the other two again. What was truly remarkable about the procession of girls, was that each had her own shade of red hair, each had a different shade of eyes, mostly all in the green category. All but Aria, (the lollipop girl) her eyes seemed to be hazel. "I shouldn't be so rude but I can guess why you are here, would you like to come inside for some tea."
One really had to wonder where there was going to be a quiet spot in the house.
"We're here."
Peter's voice filled the car and Soran looked up from his deep musing. He watched as the car pulled up to a house that looked almost like his own, but smaller. He bit his lip as he reached for the handle of the car door, Is this alright? I hope they don't mind my sudden arrival... I mean, it's not like the families are all 'buddy buddy' with each other he thought to himself. He was feeling rather gloomy as he stepped out of the car.
"You surely have high end friends buddy. What are these guys rich or something?"
"Yeah, you could say that," Soran muttered in response. He walked up with Peter to a man that looked to be a part of the house. His attire certainly said he was. Screams were echoing from the house, giving Soran pause to continue. He wondered what was going on, but as the man who stood talking on the cell phone didn't seem bothered by the noise, the young Seer figured it may be a normal thing.
He frowned, wincing slightly. Even so, he still thought it better than going back to his own place, "Well... here goes nothing," he said to no one in particular.
"I understand perfectly sir, I will do whatever you wish."
Wonder what that was all about.
The man -whom Soran thought was a butler at first- turned and addressed them finally, "Master Reigailia, tis a pleasure, I am Grayson, Master Belvedare's Guardian, my master and his son Tristan are not at home, but I do expect them here shortly, is there anything I could help you with."
"Eh... umm..." Soran glanced over to Peter but before he could formulate any sort of answer, a car drove up behind them and it unloaded a flock of girls. This startled Soran even more and he froze. It wasn't like he was afraid of girls or anything, he just wasn't very good with them, especially in packs of more than two. He watched them in shock as they all passed by to head to the house.
Oh... God... dig me a grave now... just end it, Soran thought with a heavy sigh. One of the girls smiled at him though, she had braces and he felt slightly obliged to smile back, so he did. Soran waved a bit too to try to calm his own nerves and make things a little less awkward.
"I am sorry about that, I shouldn't be so rude but I can guess why you are here, would you like to come inside for some tea."
"You're pretty good to know why we're here," Soran answered back, then ran his hand through his hair, "Sorry... Um. Thanks, I guess. Yeah, I came because... well I've been- er was- possessed by a God. Said his name was Yakosa, a war god," Soran trembled at the memory. His body shuddered and he quickly took a deep breathe to regain himself, "It's... Hard to let my family know. I'm sure you and the Belvedere family know how mine is on this whole matter. Seeing as they want my brother a Seer instead," Soran muttered the last part as his gaze dropped off to the side of the graveled driveway.
"Anyway," he looked up and tried a smile, "Thanks for the hospitality, Grayson. I look forward to meeting the rest of the family. It'll be interesting to see Mr. Belvedere and his son."
"No need to apologize. I'm sure your mother did mean well Kilia."
Kilia dipped her head down, feeling her cheeks flushing a bit as she sat there, her fingers curling into small fists on her knees. Slowly she nodded in agreement, "Yeah, she did."
"So I guess it's official then huh?"
Looking over, at him she nodded her head. With a bit of a sigh, she answered as she smiled at him as warmly as she could, "Yes. It's... official."
"What did she mean by the rest is up to us? I'm slightly confused by that." Robin asked.
"Oh... that," Kilia sighed again as she dropped her gaze to the floor, "It's tradition for most of the families. It's been done for years. Some families are more extreme than others," she said as she lifted her eyes to where her mother had disappeared to, "Basically what she meant is that everything else we have to learn on our own. We have to teach ourselves how to fight the Gods and protect the people while protecting ourselves. She's only given us the necessitates. And that's all we'll ever get. From here on out... it's really up to you and I to figure things out.
"Though I seriously disagree. There's got to be better ways to do things. I mean, we're not in the old days anymore! I think we should be working together with the other families, but that's not her belief. I also believe that not all the Gods are evil like she thinks they are, but..." Kilia's voice had gotten slightly emotional so she stopped herself. Taking a deep, calming breathe, she leaned back in the couch cushions, "Well, whatever. It is what it is. I mean, it really is up to us so..."
She trailed off. Hopefully Robin didn't think she was crazy... she blushed a little at the thought.
-----Peter----
Peter had followed Soran to the front door of the house when he saw another car pull up and open to let out a gaggle of Girls. "Oh my GOSH! We're surrounded by girls!! This is insanity!!!" Peter thought in his head as sweat drops formed on his own forehead in severe worry. How many were there?! Soran had hidden behind him in slight fear and terror of them. Peter was at most, surprised by his reaction at that. "Wow, that was very interesting." He said out loud.
He then heard the Head guardian of this family invite them inside for refreshments. "Huh? Tea? If you got Herbal Tea I'll drink that stuff." Peter said trying to be open and friendly as best as he could as Soran explained the business end of why they were here. He smiled to himself how well he tried to be formal and friendly at the same time. "Well Soran, let's not sit out here like a barrel of wet fish! Let's go in!"
-----Jonathan----
Jonathan listened very very carefully to Kilia as she responded to his statements and question. She talked on how it was tradition to find out on their own how to best fight off the gods and protect her from it. "Wow, that's a lot on the plate, but doable." He stated before she suddenly went up in a small mini-rant.
He listened to her talk about there should be a better way to handle things and such of the like before she talked more absurdly that not all gods are evil. "I only wish the good ones had better control of the others." He said more to himself as she continued on before stopping and just resigning to her original answer and then blushed a bit. That usually means one thing in his book. She thinking that now he thinks she was crazy.
"If only I can admit that people actually think I'm crazy at times." he thought to himself as he looked around the living room looking at all the nick nacks present. His eyes fell upon however, a portrait of a familiar figure, clad in grey armor, holding his sword aloft as if ready to do battle. He got up to take a closer look. "Hmm, interesting portrait of the Grey Knight you got hanging there. My family has some of the original rough sketches, although, not one to say such things, with him being directly my ancestor and all."
"Doh, come on Robin! It's not that horrible is it?!" The "spirit" said as Jonathan turned to Kilia with a bit of a small confident smile. The spirit sighed knowing that he'll try to ignore the fact he's even talking to him before vanishing just like that.
"So then, I suppose then the first thing we need to figure out is living arrangements and then a schedule for training and improvement of spells and physical strength." Jonathan said, "Of course I might have to also probably teach you how to fight too. Hopefully that isn't too much of a problem.
"And probably, once we've figured all that out, we can then, maybe figure out something fun to do. Since we need to probably be friends and all" Jonathan finished before taking a huge breath. He nearly talked himself to death for a moment. Never before had he tried to talk business and try to sound proper at the very same time. He also realized he was talking to a girl who he has to watch over for the rest of his life. His face turned slightly pink when he realized this.
Grayson led them into the house as he heard Soran say,
"Sorry... Um. Thanks, I guess. Yeah, I came because... well I've been- er was- possessed by a God. Said his name was Yakosa, a war god," Grayson turned slightly to see the reaction by the newly made seer. He understood completely the fear and wish to forget. It was the same for a guardian in some respects, without the whole being taken over aspect though. He has had his own seer turn on him, filled with the violent urgency to do the God's willing, and try to kill. Grayson though was pretty hard to kill as he was still standing before the two boys today. Yet Soran's next sentence was a little unexpected.
"It's... Hard to let my family know. I'm sure you and the Belvedere family know how mine is on this whole matter. Seeing as they want my brother a Seer instead"
He didn't comment on this though, but he also understood this, it was the very thing driving a wedge within very house he lived. "I am sure you have as much potential as your brother did." Grayson knew that Soran's brother was past his twenty year mark. He had kept tabs on the other families for years. The inner workings, personal opinions and likewise he had no idea, but one can observe much from the outside.
The house was bigger on the inside then it appeared on the outside.
He looked at Peter as he requested herbal tea, "You though," he did a once over of Peter, "don't have any ties to society do you." His tone wasn't condensing, it was observant. And his once over wasn't one to be taken likely, it was like he had assessed Peter's aura with just his eyes. He, however, wasn't trying to be insulting, but Grayson was known to push a button or two. He could read people rather well, and sometime told him that the boy was hot-headed and perhaps untrained. Grayson led them away from the other voices in the house "Follow me into the study, we won't be disturbed there," he led to a doorway, which he took a key out and unlocked. The room on the inside looked cozy, it was filled with pictures; of course with five children, there were many pictures. It seemed like all the kids had their own place on the wall. Grayson motioned to the couch in the corner, "Sit, relax, I will return."
His return was a few minutes later, with a silver tray, a tea pot full of hot water, and a tea chest. As he placed it on the table he looked Soran again. "So you were possessed by Yakosa." He took a rather large book from the shelf and flipped through, "Call it an obsession of mine I suppose," which really wasn't an explanation in the least to what he looking at. "Yakosa, god of war, top tier, doesn't have many known weaknesses. So that either means you deal with fire or did something else to stop the possession."
This last comment was toward Peter
He continued without waiting on response "Fire makes the most sense, your aura is to red for most anything else. I tend to do that without permission, but it helps me stay alive. I've known a few like you, usually hot-headed and short tempered, not a great combination when it comes to being a guardian. However you show promise in taken a god like Yakosa out for awhile."
Another interruption happened at that point, the door to the study swung open and Tristan stood there, he didn't look happy in at all. "Where is my father, "he asked completely ignoring the other two in the room.
Grayson stood a look of concern on his face, "He is not here, what happened."
"Nothing, I don't want to talk about it, tell the she-hag if she wants to lecture me, I'll be in my room"
"But Tristan we have...
"I don't give a fuck"
"Tristan please calm down,"
"Today of all the fucking days, don't tell me to calm down"
"Please just join us,"
"I am not in the mood."
"Just tell brace face if I ever catch her putting spiders on me again, I will torture her slowly and without mercy" Tristan turns on his heels and walks back out, which he couldn't have gone to far because they could hear the door slam. Grayson sighed, "Again I apologize, I thought Master Belvedare would have returned by now."
"I am sure you have as much potential as your brother did."
Soran slowly nodded, though he wasn't all too convinced by the kind words. He was lost in his own thoughts for a little while and thus missed the comment made towards Peter, his new Guardian. He was brought out of his thoughts as Grayson moved towards the house, motioning for them to follow him.
"Follow me into the study, we won't be disturbed there."
The house inside was much larger than it looked on the outside. An illusion that Soran was beginning to think a trend for most richly endowed families and their homes. His own was a reflection of that as well. They followed after Grayson until he stopped at a door and unlocked it for them to go into.
"Sit, relax, I will return."
Heeding the order, Soran took a spot on the sofa. It was comfortable, something he was slightly thankful for given the recent event of having to run and everything else. As he sat, however, his leg had stiffened from standing for too long outside. He felt the burn of his skin stretching and was reminded of the wound given to him by Yakosa not to long ago. Hissing in reaction, he gripped his thigh tightly before it numbed once again.
"So you were possessed by Yakosa."
Grayson returned then with a tray of tea, to which Soran just gazed at. He wasn't particularly in the mood to drink anything right then, and so he just sat back to listen to the conversation.
"Call it an obsession of mine I suppose. Yakosa, god of war, top tier, doesn't have many known weaknesses. So that either means you deal with fire or did something else to stop the possession."
Grayson said as he flipped through a rather large book that he'd brought with him into the study. Soran glanced over to Peter before answering softly, he figured he'd let the Guardian do the finer details though, "Yeah, he used a spear of some sort," the Seer said, his voice just loud enough for them to hear him.
"Fire makes the most sense, your aura is to red for most anything else. I tend to do that without permission, but it helps me stay alive. I've known a few like you, usually hot-headed and short tempered, not a great combination when it comes to being a guardian. However you show promise in taken a god like Yakosa out for awhile."
An eyebrow lifted as Soran listened to the words that Grayson poured onto them. He can judge a person character based on their aura? Is that his specialty or something... the young Seer thought to himself. He was about to ask on the matter how Grayson knew so much about Peter when he himself knew nothing at all seeing as he'd just met the boy a few hours ago.
"Where is my father, " a boy asked as he flung open the door and entered the room. Soran turned sharply at the sudden noise, his heart jumping to his throat. However, he was met by a rather good looking figure in the doorway, though the youth didn't seem to be all that pleased.
"He is not here, what happened?"
The conversation went rather quickly, and there was not a whole lot that Soran could discern from it at all. Obviously the boy was irritated about something, and one of his sisters was a part of it too. However, the Seer figured that there was something else to the situation at hand and even as the red haired boy left the room and a door slammed shut, Soran stayed turned around almost as if in a trance.
"Again I apologize, I thought Master Belvedare would have returned by now."
"It's alright," Soran answered, almost on auto pilot. Finally, he stood up, "If you'll excuse me, I'd like to talk to him... the red haired boy just now? I think Peter can answer the rest of your questions well enough... at least for now," he said. Besides, I think there's more to that boy's irritation than a little girl putting spiders on him, Soran thought and made his way to the door. With the adrenaline leaving his body, he was beginning to feel a dull ache in his hip and side.
Hobbling out into the hallway, he looked around to try to figure out where the boy had gone. It couldn't have been too far though seeing as the sound of the slamming door had nearly been right next to them. Right next to us... Soran spotted a closed door and figured that one might be it. Shuffling over, he hesitated as he raised his hand to the door, poised to knock. Taking a breath, he finally knocked on the door, three light taps.
"U-um..." his voice broke and he cursed himself silently, "Sorry to be intruding on your home. I'm Soran Reigailia... Um..." Why had he gone to the door again? He couldn't quite remember, "I-... Want to talk? I get the feeling something might have happened," he said and then bit his tongue. Wonderful start... idiot he scolded himself. He stood there silently then, waiting for an answer. Hopefully the boy wouldn't just ignore him, that would be... awkward.
-----Peter----
Peter walked into the house with Soran and Grayson. He never quite registered what they were talking about initially which sort of confused him to a point. He sat down as Grayson was reading a book about whatever it was messing with Soran and it came to a point where Grayson started talking about Him with near accuracy.
"Hey wait a minute!! You have no right reading my Aura!" He exclaimed loudly and somewhat angrily, but he unknowingly proved his point. "I mean sure I prefer fire magic but that doesn't make me a big fat Hothead!!"
His thoughts were once again interrupted by the entrance of another person Soran's age. "Uhh hi-" he tried to say before he got interrupted by The arrivals argument with the family guardian before heading off to another room. "Well that was rude of the Laddie."
Soran then stated his desire to go and see the rude one and abruptly left Peter with Grayson. "Wait! Soran! Please don't leave me alone with the gaggle!!!!" He shouted in vain pleading. "Fudge nuggets! I hate it when things go down like that." He said before sighing. "So what exactly did I get myself into here Grayson?"
"I mean, I. Know about seers and their bodyguards a little bit; but I fail to see the big picture. You mean to tell me I took on a deity and won in some regard? Also where is the tea I asked about?" His questions were small but trying to figure out how to understand it all."
Grayson's initial frustration led to surprise when Soran offered to go talk to Tristan, "Thank you," but he was pretty sure Soran was already trying to find Tristan's door. The other in the room took the time to speak up"So what exactly did I get myself into here Grayson".
Before he could answer the first question a second came out. I mean, I. Know about seers and their bodyguards a little bit; but I fail to see the big picture. You mean to tell me I took on a deity and won in some regard? Also where is the tea I asked about
Grayson looked at the boy intently for a second, "I am going to tell you the one thing my father always told me, when fate chooses us to do, we do, but you know having fire magic doesn't mean you are "a big fat Hothead." I was merely stated an observation or two. You can learn to restrain your temper, or irrational behaviors, or even your power if you learn control." While he was stating this he turned to the tea pot, "This tea pot is cold now, and it is a rather expensive family heirloom. Rational thought would be going out to the kitchen and heating some more water, but since you are so against being interactive with the girls, I take that is out of the question"
"As a guardian you have to think quickly on your feet, something that you did this afternoon, but some deities don't react to a violent means of being defeated, sometimes you have to be more inventive. As water is your opposite, it will be the hardest for you to learn how to find a means to get rid of. Take the water in the tea pot, lets say for instance it is a lesser god within your seer. A lesser god that you know isn't going to be pushed out by violent means, all water gods do have some aversion to fire, however this one is adverse to heat. However if you heat it up to much, you risk the chance of harming your seer. He is your first and last priority, even before yourself."
He picked the teapot up, "I am not going to ask you try this, but as the year progresses with your seer, as you learn more about the way things are done. As you defeat more gods and goddesses, you will get closer to the point where you can do this without thought. I don't have elemental skills like you do, but in reading the object before me, I can control the most basic of its particles.
I didn't know how to do this when I first became a guardian, in fact I really thought my power was pretty useless. The first day almost became my last, I didn't know how much energy it would actually take to read a god aura. The more powerful the longer and more costly it is to me. With just the right amount of energy, I can make those particles move, and the rest is just basic science."
Pretty soon the water in the teapot was warm again, and he poured it into the cup. "The big picture is all of this is up to you." He put down the teapot and picked up the tea chest. "Now please pick your tea bag, I believe the herbal tea is in the back row."
Tristan was sulking in his bedroom, he heard the knocking first, which was surprising, no one ever knocked in his house. He sat up, sort of glad he hadn't yet plugged his ear buds into his ears. He stood up and took a second to look at his surroundings. Well why the fuck should he care about what his room looked like, this was his room. He opened the door just as Soran said happened. "You don't have to say anymore, you could have probably just knocked, nobody ever fucking knocks in this house." Tristan sighed but took the time to look at the boy, "For a Reigailia, your kinda not what I expected, yeah I know who your family is, haven't the pleasure though of meetin any of you. Well come in, there is no use for you standing in the hallway."
Tristan opened the door wider, "Close it after you come in, or we won't get any privacy," not that he expected his closed door to stop anyone anyways. "I just guessing that you turned 20 today too, so you have some clue about what happens on days like these. Maybe I am just more upset than I need to be about it. Well maybe not upset...I don't really know how to describe how I am feeling actually." There was more then one reason he was feeling the way he way thought
First Tristan was upset about having to deal with his mother, but he wasn't going to admit that to a complete stranger. Ever since the events happened this morning, she has been harassing him, and you could tell it wasn't her usual harassment either. She had been downright unapologetic about what she was saying. He got so tired of her phone calls that he came home hoping to find his father, hoping to put an end to it. He hoped deep down she would have changed her opinion about him after he became a seer, but it just seemed to be worse.
Secondly what happened during his possession really threw him off, he knew it wasn't the normal thing to happen, so how to move on from it was a complete mystery.
He moved some stuff so there was another place to sit on a chair near the bed, he knew that it wasn't Soran's fault, so he wasn't take it out on him. Tristan just didn't feel like being himself today, he was tired of pretty much everything period. "I guess I should introduce myself, since I just started talking to you like we were acquainted, I am Tristan, so what else did you want to talk about."
He sat back down on the bed with his back against the wall so he could actually pay attention to Soran.
"You don't have to say anymore, you could have probably just knocked, nobody ever fucking knocks in this house."
Soran was slightly taken aback as the boy suddenly drew open the door and faced him with a frown on his face. The young blonde haired seer watched him for a while, unsure of what to say next. Maybe it had been a bad idea to come and bother him. Still, Soran couldn't help it. It was another Seer, someone else to talk to that could share in his experience. A sigh left the taller boys lips, making Soran lift an eyebrow.
"For a Reigailia, your kinda not what I expected, yeah I know who your family is, haven't the pleasure though of meetin any of you. Well come in, there is no use for you standing in the hallway."
Soran blushed at this, Not what you expected?! What were you expecting?! Soran thought to himself. He wanted to voice those thoughts as well, but the other Seer didn't give him time to do so as he pulled the door wider and stepped inside the bedroom.
"Close it after you come in, or we won't get any privacy. I just guessing that you turned 20 today too, so you have some clue about what happens on days like these. Maybe I am just more upset than I need to be about it. Well maybe not upset...I don't really know how to describe how I am feeling actually."
Slowly, Soran moved into the room closing the door as he was asked as well. He limped slightly, his thigh cramping up as he tried to work out the muscle once more though it burned. He watched as the boy cleared off a spot on a chair near the bed and moved over to it once it was cleaned to sit upon. Listening to the young Seer's words made Soran frown. He knew what the other boy meant though. It was the same for him really.
"I guess I should introduce myself, since I just started talking to you like we were acquainted, I am Tristan, so what else did you want to talk about."
Soran slowly took his seat, positioning himself just right so as to let his leg rest, but not stretch the burned skin. After he was seated he looked up at Tristan and smiled softly, "I'm Soran. I... I guess I just wanted to talk a little. Anything really," his gaze dropped Why is this so hard? he thought to himself. Usually he was very bright and easy to talk to other people, but for some reason it was very hard in the presence of the other boy.
"U-um," he stuttered again. Have to stop doing that he chided himself, "I was possessed earlier today. It was... so strange and painful," Soran muttered the last part, "Do you think it's like that all the time? I hope not, I don't know if I'll be able to survive that sort of thing again. I also want to apologize, for just showing up here at your home. Its just that I really don't want to go back to my own house. The family is... not easy to get along with. I'm sure they already know that I'm a Seer whereas my brother is not."
Soran sighed and leaned back against the chair. He tilted his head back where he stared at the ceiling of the bedroom for a while before looking back at Tristan, "Sorry, probably shouldn't dump this on you, I'm sure you have enough to worry about and deal with as it is. Your house is... kinda crazy," Soran laughed a bit as he said that hoping to not offend the other boy.
"Wow, that's a lot on the plate, but doable." Robin said before Kilia went off on her tangent. She blushed a bit at the thought that he was willing to do so much with someone he'd just met too.
"I only wish the good ones had better control of the others."
Slowly she nodded in agreement to his statement.
"Hmm, interesting portrait of the Grey Knight you got hanging there. My family has some of the original rough sketches, although, not one to say such things, with him being directly my ancestor and all."
"You're his ancestor?" Kilia about came out of her seat as he was looking at one of the pictures on the vanity. She watched him with wide eyes, awe and shock rushing through her, "Honestly I'd always thought that to be a myth of sorts. That's so amazing," she muttered to herself.
"So then, I suppose then the first thing we need to figure out is living arrangements and then a schedule for training and improvement of spells and physical strength. Of course I might have to also probably teach you how to fight too. Hopefully that isn't too much of a problem. And probably, once we've figured all that out, we can then, maybe figure out something fun to do. Since we need to probably be friends and all."
Kilia was taken aback at first as he told her everything that he had in mind. Wow, so fast to adapt she thought to herself. She admired that actually. Kilia herself wasn't all that great at taking a situation and adapting to it like that. She couldn't quite get her mind wrapped around his words as she was marveling at how quickly he put things together. Kilia stared at him for quite sometime before it all sank in.
"W-wait! You want... t-too train me?" Kilia stood then, her hands raising up as she watched him with wide eyes, her heart pounding hard in her chest, "I-I... Robin... I really... I really don't know," she started to pace then, wringing her wrists and biting her lower lip.
Shaking her head she calmed herself, "I... I will try," she resigned herself quickly. It was probably for the best anyway. Besides, he was going to find out soon enough that she wasn't all that great at fighting at all, "In any case, I do hope that we'll be friends," she smiled brightly, trying to ignore her writhing nerves about the prospect of fighting.
Re: Sono Kanshi-Sha : Reboot
Finally figured out how Robin should best react to Kilia's question! Okay maybe not the best excuse for my unusually late reaction, but I had to brainstorm for a little bit. Anyway, enjoy folks!
Totally looking forward to this! Lets get things back on the road again shall we? I apologize again for the delay!
Re: Sono Kanshi-Sha : Reboot
With the fontmeme, what works best for me is downloading or to the desktop. And then uploading it to like photobucket or something
Re: Sono Kanshi-Sha : Reboot
Character created! I may need some help with fontmeme edits, but besides that my character is good to go!
