So, I have a terrible memory. If there is one thing you should know about me, it's that. So I'm just going to post this here so that way I can keep track of all my little plots I have going so far! I probably won't be adding detail (because reasons), but I will be editing this post as I move along and gain more plots. So, yeah! This is just me trying to put my thoughts on "paper" and organize myself so don't mind me. And if you find yourself stumbling over it and not being able to figure it out, it's because I'm weird and I have this weird code thing with myself. Again, don't mind me.

Unless you want to plot! This is also a forever shameless plug about micro-plotting about anything, really. So, yeah, shoot me a PM or just ask here (Since that's what this thread is for) if you have any ideas, and I guess even questions I suppose, so yeah!

Dude! Kyle can! Kyle totally would! I mean, he's prone to outbursts and stuff, and you said Jacq would work with him in the greenhouse, right? Maybe Kyle could get mad over something happening with the plants or maybe Jacq did something "wrong" with them or something and he confronts her and things escalate quickly?

And I think I can tie that too to Papa Legba. I mean, I don't really know how Papa Lgba is summoned exactly, but maybe Kyle summons him after killing Jacq to try and calm down and figure things out and rage and ask questions and stuff?

I don't know, I'm spit balling here really, but just putting it out there!

I figured I bring this over here, since this is the designated spot for this.

Anywho, I love this idea so much.

What if They are working together, things are good and maybe Jacq knocks over a plant that Kyle had been working really hard on keeping alive, that sets him off and strikes her, in a fit of rage,and the hit kills her, once he realizes that she's actually dead, he freaks out, seeing as they were friends and didn't mean to do it, not only that, he just killed a girl who was nice to him. So he summons Papa Legba to bring her back?

And yeah! That sounds like what would totally happen too. Kyle is pretty obsessive of plants and the greenhouse because it's kinda like his happy place and it's what he understands so if anything happened to something, especially a plant that was dying and he's been trying to revive, I could totally see him flipping his lid and end up hitting her too hard or something.

And yeah, he could summon Leg a to try and bring her bavk. But maybe while Kyle does that, probably in his room, Laz could walk by saw what happened and resurrect her?

Let me apologize in advance for the brief and vagueness of this all.
Anyone interested plotting with Hale or Pell, please let me know.

Ideas and prompts for Hale:
1] Breach of Council
This would involve him taking particular interest in someone’s ability or personality so much that he breaks his own contract with the Council of which he is employed. It would cause all hell to break loose, possibly a burning at the stake. Maybe even a resurrection? Romantic or platonic themes encouraged
2] Classroom Pranks
I’m sure this is self explanatory, but a good way to get connections better formed between Hale and his students. Prank him!

Ideas and prompts for Pell:
1] General Conflict/Rivalry/Harm
Her civil yet somehow not necessarily friendly personality leaves someone feeling raw, and they hex or curse her. Not limited to potential death or severe harm, spells gone bad. This could be a good one for Izzyvamp but is not limited to anyone else with a great imagination. Please expand on these ideas.
2] Blackmail
Pell’s mother made a hideous deal with Papa Legba, if anyone knows an inkling about it, they could summon him and cause a lot of trauma for Pell who is otherwise composed. She doesn’t believe in him, still, even after the taking of her mother. More or less it would scare her shitless. She was originally meant to be given to Papa Legba as an innocent soul sacrifice.

IDEA FOR ALL CHARACTERS:
1] Massive Exposure Risk
NOPD shows up with a neighbor that senses things aren’t quite right at this academy, and a front yard war kind of ensues until officers, onlookers and neighbor[s] are dealt with appropriately. This one could get bloody and very tricky!

Hi guys, firstly I'd like to apologise since I haven't yet posted- still pondering ideas and naturally, I have a very busy life (currently undergoing all my exams and with my part-time work, I feel like I'm never at home) but I know neither of those are an excuse, I'm just trying to explain it's not been my choice to not post. Though hopefully, I'll find the time today. But anyway, on another note- if anyone has any relationship/friendship/rivalry ideas with Violet Khiara. She's an outside character but she's still a young witch so there's reasons there for her to socialise or cross paths with academy students but if anyone has an ideas, please message me for I'd love to hear them!

Once again though, I'm sorry for the lack of an introduction post. I'll aim to have one done ASAP.

It's okay. Just give us notice if and when you can 'bout this stuff. Everyone checks on the OOC board frequently so if you just give us a little memo we will keep it in mind. We wouldn't want to pull your character and open up the slot if you can be committed and find a way to make it work. Plus I myself am very excited to see Violet.

I actually have an idea on that note:
Pell might actually catch Violet phasing out in public and kind of confront her.

You're so brave. You must be crazy. Have you heard about the academy? Holy shit how'd you do that? Did you know that if the wrong person saw you doing that you could be dead?

And from then forth we could blossom a small friendship that maybe ultimately evolves into the two girls rebelling against their own coven. Pell can invite her to Ceremony and onward.


By the way...

How would all of you guys feel if I brought in a new character just to play the role of the first casualty the academy causes and witnesses? I was thinking something like a normie girl or boy, way too friendly, sees something they shouldn't see. They've been forbidden to ever come back to the academy, and still come to snoop, in an innocent and curious friendly way, but end up in a pickle, then end up dead.

Haha. that's the brief version. Please let me know! And please feel free to build on it. Any one of the students or staff could end up causing his/her death.

I think that would be a cool idea Blavkmvgik but don't try to overwhelm yourself is all that I would ask. You're already playing several characters and doing lots of work and planning already. Not to mention what's going on OOC too. I think the idea would be really cool and would help get things moving along in a more dramatic way, but I don't want you to explode or anything. That would be very bad. XD

I mean, if you feel like your up for it then by all means, let's do it. As always, I'm willing to put Kyle into the mix of it all, but only if you're up for it and aren't stretching yourself too thin. And keep in mind, you don't necessarily need to play her either. She's a temporary character and all, but if you like the idea a lot but don't feel like you can handle it, someone else could play her after talking to your or something so you don't have as much of a load on you. I mean, I don't even have a second character yet, and I think some other people don't either, so one of us could take on the role if you really wanted us too.

I'm not trying to say that you can't do it or anything, I know you're perfectly capable of it since you're already doing a splendid job of keeping everything under control and everything, but I'm just trying to make sure you don't end up killing your motivation or anything.

So yeah, doesn't matter who plays her, let's do it. It's a great idea. :)

And since I'm here talking about it, I guess I might as well help build on the idea. I think we can actually use this idea, Blavkmvgik, to get another idea you had rolling. The idea about the NOPD coming and trying to snoop and such and the academy has to fight to stay secrete? I think this death would be a really great start on that idea. Like, maybe an NOPD officer finds the body somewhere and uses previous suspicion to fuel an investigation. Or maybe perhaps the NOPD questions the people in the academy about the death since they think she died near there and someone ends up making them suspicious?

I don't know, it's just a bunch of spit balls, but I think it would be fun and cool. What do you guys think?

Plot for Benjamin Hawthorne

The Shadow War
The Witches of New Orleans have dealt a serious blow to the Witch Hunters in North America, by bringing down the Delphi Corporation (A front used to fund their activities.) Thanks the to actions of Cordelia's late husband, Hank Foxx, his assault on Marie Lavaeu revealed their enemies and helped to forge an unlikely alliance between the Voodoo Queen and Fiona Goode. Having cast a spell that stripped Delphi of it's wealth, Harrison Renard (CEO of Delphi) called a summit. The Witches answered the call, but they never intended to accept Harrison's truce. Fiona and Marie planned an assassination which went off without a hitch, killing Harrison and the Heads of the Delphi Trust.

Unbeknownst to them, the war did not die with Harrison and Delphi, but has inadvertently exacerbate it. From within the shadows, Delphi's secret protocols has been initiated. Benjamin Hawthorne of the legendary Hawthorne Family, has been commissioned to eliminate the Witches of New Orleans...by any means necessary.


OOC: Hello an idea for a plot that may happen over the course of time. Anyway, I hope it's alright to sort of mess with the timeline and such as presented in the series. Since I mentioned characters like Hank Foxx and Harrison Renard that were not mentioned so far in the Roleplay. I also hope it was alright to use the story as it followed in the series but switching the timelines around some. Note, this doesn't mean that Marie and Fiona are still allies, in fact they could go back to being enemies which I think would be better. But that's just my opinion. I also hope it was alright to add this bit of history to characters like Fiona, Cordelia and Marie, it shouldn't affect how players handle them, I just hope it was alright to use them for this plot now that players are beginning to take up their roles. I apologize for any misunderstandings or mistakes that may have been made. Thank you for your time!

I'm just trying to work out what I should pose and where to start with it.

I'm in a similar situation as zeph here. Ben is a Witch Hunter, so some hunting of witches is kinda of necessary. Now I'm not seeking to kill anyone, unless express permission is given to me. But I do want Ben to be seen as a threat and killing NPCs just doesn't quite cut it. Stories need a little suspense and action and that can be accomplished with conflict between my character and other player characters.

I have made a micro-plot with another player that involves a kidnapping, who is kidnapped I won't say. Although after this plot is done, Ben is pretty much open for more interactions. Of course I would like some of these micro-plots to involve dangerous situations, but in the end it's up for collaboration. Thanks for your time!

Hey, since we've had a few characters drop out now, I think that would be a perfect place for Seven to bring Ben in. That way people won't just up an disappear leaving giant character gaps.

I don't mind if Ben was directly or indirectly responsible for the deaths of characters that decided to drop out. Besides it would help to build up a reputation for Ben being a danger to the Coven, which is what I intended him to be, a serious threat. I'm up for it, it would build momentum but I could still introduce him slowly to the rest of the cast. Soon everyone will begin to realize that they are being hunted down, not just by Decimus but by another force as well. Mwahahaha.

Unless of course that is perfectly fine with everyone?
