"He's decent enough, can't judge him too much.
In terms for these two, there isn't much to write home about. They're decent and nice enough to each other when it comes to casual conversations and interactions. Ren's able to look past who Ethan's friends with, and is bright enough to be able to make a judgement call on someone, aside who they're friends with. That said, Ren's fine with Ethan, and visa versa, from their point of view anyway. They run in some of the same social circles, which helps, but Ren will never go out of their way to seek Ethan out.

Charlie Addams, Host of Isis [◑/☺]
"Denny's roommate? She's alright, from what I can gather."
Much like some of the others, Tarren and Charlie aren't exactly that close as of yet. Hell, Ren only even really got to meet Charlie due to her being one of Eden's roommates. From Tarren's perspective, she's nothing much to worry about or any real cause for concern, but, there is that small part of Tarren that feels a bit of responsibility for the girl? Whether it's the ever present 'Mom Friend' energy Tarren has been branded with, or just their natural feeling of being an older sibling figure, Ren is more than happy to come to Charlie's defense from any of the older students, seeing as she is just a kid after all. (Will eventually develop into the cliche trope of manic child x protective mom friend dynamic).

Tarren never had an exact issue with Romeo, and still doesn't, even with his connection to Sol. Ren can't judge people on who they choose to be friends with, even if the person they're friends with, is someone like Sol. Putting the connection to Sol aside, Ren finds him like everyone else. Just another person to keep at arm's length and stay away from. As long as he doesn't start any trouble with the one's Tarren cares about, Ren couldn't care less what Romeo does.

Nova Morrison, Host of Geb [☺☺]
"Nova? What about her? She's pretty great, if you ask me."
While these two aren't the closest of friends at LindenWood, they are still close enough, all things considered. Outwardly, they're polar opposites. Nova is the happy ray of sunshine, to Tarren's seemingly dark rain cloud. But, no matter how seemingly different they may be, they have a lot of shared qualities in each other, something that Tarren was somewhat surprised about. But after a few conversations and shared classes due to their majors, and of course their mutual friend Eden, the two have gotten closer. Nova is easily one of the people Tarren would gladly go to bat for if anyone started any shit with her. (Wonderful trope of happy sunshine x slight grump).

These two met through an old mutual by the name Elena. She introduced the two, and it's been history since. But much like the others, with their difference in study, they don't get to spend all that much time around each other. But Tarren does appreciate Yousof's form of humor, especially since he can throw back the same shit talk Tarren throws his way. Safe to say, these two are a unsurprising duo, to say the very least. (Surprising crackhead duo dynamic).

These two have known each other for a few years by now, and were the most unlikely of friends. Eden's the polar opposite of Tarren's outwardly grump-ish behaviour and appearence. But if Tarren were to be honest, that's what pulled them towards Eden. His ability to unashamedly be himself in every sense. Something that they've always appreciated about him. They don't spend the most time around each other, due to their differences in major and study, but when they are together in company, safe to say chaos probably follow suits. (Crackhead duo/sibling dynamic).

"Fletch? What can I say about him, other than him being like a lost puppy?"
Ren would be lying if they said when they first met Fletcher, they didn't feel an immediate connection to him. There was just something about him, and like most people, Ren eventually adopted him as yet another member of their odd found family. To Ren, he has a tendency of latching onto Tarren whenever Fletcher is left alone, and surprisingly, Ren doesn't mind it much. Compared to some of the others, he's a good, genuine guy and Ren is doing their damndest to watch out for the guy. They know what it's like to have unsupportive people in their life, and Ren's trying to help make up for the trauma and lack of support that Fletcher clearly has been missing.

These two have been roommates longer than Ren and Sasha have, so them being close isn't much a shock. While they aren't as close as some of the other people that Tarren knows, Ren would still do just about anything for Cassidy. They're not just roommates, but they're basically family. And to Ren, that's the most important thing in life.

"They're like my younger sibling, besides, it's nice to have someone who understands you."
While these two haven't known each other as long as Tarren has known some of the others, these two have become surprisingly close in such a short amount of time. Having another roommate who's a few years younger than you has it's downsides of course, but the pros that came with being roommates and eventually friends with Sasha outweigh the bad. Ren would and has easily gone to bat for Sasha numerous times, against those who have shown the kid some harsh treatment. Sasha is easily one of the people Ren has been drawn to and managed to open up to, having someone else who just gets what it's like to be out of the 'normal', has helped ease Ren into further accepting themself for how they are. To say Ren would do anything for Sasha, is putting it lightly.

This is a topic best left untouched, as Tarren refuses to acknowledge...past events between the two. When things seemed to be fine, putting aside their past drunken hookup, Sol went back to their usual ways of throwing insults and rude remarks in Tarren's direction. That isn't to say Ren can't take the heat, they can and they bare with it. But Tarren's never exactly understood what they must have done for Sol to be as annoyed with them as she seems to be. Least from Tarren's point of view, they never did anything bad to her, but not like Ren would ever ask, they're not that stupid. Best to leave angry bitch's lie, right? (Honestly who the hell knows what kind of development).

There's not much to take note for these two. They only even really know each other because of their mutual circles, and because Eden's always around Nova when they have the free time, it's not shocking these two have crossed paths plenty of times. Eden knows Ethan isn't the biggest fan of him, and it's okay. He's smart enough to know not everyone is going to like him, and he's made his peace with it, even if it still stings a bit. Besides, he sees how Nova looks at Ethan, and visa versa. He just wants them to be happy.

Well, firstly, considering these two are roommates is enough for anyone to know how these two are. From the moment Eden met Charlie, he was enamored with her in every sense. She was just about as chaotic and filled with the same manic energy as he has. At least, that's how it all started anyway. But even in just the short time they've known each other, Eden's been able to see a lot of himself in Charlie, and has essentially taken on the role of an older brother and mentor to Charlie. He knows his time at LindenWood is almost over, but until the day graduation comes, he's going to be there for Charlie every step of the way, and even then, he'll have her back no matter what or how far they may be.

While he never told who it happened with, his public interactions with Romeo has been obvious enough to know what happened that night. And a few more times since then. Eden swears that they're just casual hookups, something to pass the time. But recently, he's been beginning to question things..

Eden had originally met Nova through Tarren, after the other two had spent a late-night study session in Ren's dorm. The two seemed to hit it off almost immediately and it's been history sense. The two seemingly bounce off of each other's sunny attitude and world view, which often leads to them both teasingly bullying Ren into joining their antics. Eden appreciates everything Nova has done for Eden in the short time they've known each other and adores her in every sense of the word. She's easily one of his best friends and he doesn't know what he'd do, or where he'd be if she never came into his life. As much as he doesn't want to admit it, she saved him and he's forever grateful.

"They're honestly not as bad as some people think, once you get to know them."
Unlike most of the others at LindenWood, Eden actually had met Ren off campus, at one of the local bars. In between dancing, a few drinks, and a drunken conversation later, the two had hit off what can only be referred to as one of the most unexpected friendships. Eden views Ren like a younger sibling, seeing much of himself in them, however hard it may be to believe that. He cherishes every moment the two have spent together. From the late night study sessions, to watching movies in either's dorm room, to the chaotic moments they've shared, to the late night heart to heart conversations that had once left Tarren broken down and sobbing into Eden's arms. He remembers the first time they told him about their mom, and why they truly came to LindenWood in the first place. That secret alone had struck a personal chord with him, and he's been there for them every step of the way. He understands the fear Ren feels about their mom, and he does what he can to make their life a little bit better.

Eden first remembers meeting Yousof through Tarren, and he's long since cherished every moment between the two since. Yousof is almost like a little brother to Eden, even if at times it's clear as day that Yousof takes the reigns on that dynamic. Eden appreciates everything that his friend does, and tries to pay it back in return. The two are a chaotic duo for the history books, and Eden is undeniably proud of how far Yousof has come since arriving to LindenWood. They're brothers in every sense, even if not by blood and Eden is truly forever grateful.

As far as gender stereotypes go, Ethan is very much the 'dad'-friend to Nancy's mum role. He is all awkward acts of service, and gifts, whereas Nancy leans towards words of affirmation, and offering comfort and advice. Together, they're something of a comfort-providing dream team. And that comfort and chat often extends to each other, whether Ethan is standing up for her in the face of one of Sol's rampages, or Nancy is cooking him up comfort snacks to get him through his studying.

Romeo has never been anything but warm towards Nancy, and as Nancy got to know Romeo as a friend, her walls came down a touch and she found herself becoming more willing to talk about herself with him. It doesn't help that she also has a small crush on him. But alas, his close friendship with Sol always kept things from going any deeper- she didn't want to anger the woman further, nor damage Romeo and Sol's relationship in any way. So, when Romeo asked her out on a date, her initial excitement was just as suddenly tampered by a combination of two things: the consideration that Romeo might be joking around, and, even more strongly, the fear of repeating past events and hurting Sol once more.

The thing that Nancy initially found alarming with Rahmi was her roommate's remarkable tendency to notice. She seems to be able to read Nancy like a book, but more so, she takes what she reads and acts on what she sees. From turning the attention back to herself when Nancy is feeling overwhelmed, to going up to the counter to order for Nancy, Rahmi engages in many little things that catch Nancy off guard, in the best way. Nancy's not used to thinking about herself, instead focusing on others at her own expense, so having such a mutually considerate friendship has become rather healing for her. In addition, Nancy is in constant awe of Rahmi's art and gaming success, and has since picked up an interest in gaming through osmosis (albeit to decidedly less success (and cool-headedness) than her skilled roommate).

back in their very first year of university, Sol and Nancy were grouped together for dorm orientation. there was initially no bad blood, and Nancy had even been a touch shy around Sol. However, this peace was disturbed when a fellow member of their group caught Sol's eye. She asked him out to a coffee, but he declined. Later, the guy chased down Nancy to ask her out- Nancy was made incredibly uncomfortable with the whole situation, but either her anxiousness didn't compute to him, or he deemed it irrelevant, and he eventually strong-armed her into a date. If that weren't bad enough, Sol walked in on the two mid-date; Nancy was mortified and guilty, but Sol only walked over to their table with purpose, shooting the first of what would become a great many verbal barbs Nancy's way: "I guess that explains your disinterest; you prefer someone who dresses like they’re on their way to purchase a roll of stamps." Nancy has seldom attempted any sort of rebuttal, her guilt coupled with her propensity for passivity meaning that she tries to ignore or laugh off Soledad's sometimes brutal comments.

If nobody told you they were twins, you might just think were entirely unrelated. Unlike the twin telepathy trope, they simply didn't click. Their parents' favoritism put Yousof in the limelight while Rahmi was second string. Though they still bonded over video games, he didn't do much to dissuade his parents from treating her how they did (and he was sure she resented him for that). That cleared up once the two of them headed to college and the dynamic flipped. They both became their own people and Yousof was happy that they were finally getting recognition. Part of him envies the fact that Rahmi flourished where he floundered, but he knows the envy comes from a place of regret rather than ill intent.

Since they're both busy with school, they've decided to keep it casual. Or perhaps, they just want to fuck around.

Beyond their budding friendship and her and Adam's messiness, she felt insecure. Charlie couldn't be any more different than her - and if that's the person Adam was so eager to run to the moment she told him to fuck off, what did he even see in her? It made her feel like Adam just saw her like everyone else did, just a body. She hated this feeling, and wanted to make sure Charlie felt the exact same way. What she didn't expect was enjoying it all so much.

If she was smarter she’d stop chase Adam and end up with Cassidy, but ultimately Cassidy was too emotionally available for Sol. Things with Ren did make it a shade more . . . confusing when visiting their dorm - but Cassidy always remained a gentleman especially while railing her from behind, respectfully.

From Tarren's perspective, she's nothing much to worry about or any real cause for concern, but, there is that small part of Tarren that feels a bit of responsibility for the girl? Whether it's the ever present 'Mom Friend' energy Tarren has been branded with, or just their natural feeling of being an older sibling figure, Ren is more than happy to come to Charlie's defense from any of the older students, seeing as she is just a kid after all. Besides, they've been to a few of Charlier's shows, often being simple moral support, and they're more than happy to be in her corner, whatever the cause or need may be.

But, no matter how seemingly different they may be, they have a lot of shared qualities in each other, something that Tarren was somewhat surprised about. But after a few conversations and shared classes due to their majors, and of course their mutual friend Eden, the two have gotten closer. Legend has it, people in that end of the dormitory can still hear an Aussie's screams in the wee hours of the night...

They don't spend the most time around each other, due to their differences in major and study, but when they are together in company, safe to say chaos probably follow suits. These two can only be summed up in one word, Complicated. They aren't exactly friends, per say, least not of the traditional sense. Outside of classes, they hadn't really known each other until Sol entered the picture, and well, things only got far more complicated and messy after that. Aside from school and Sol drama, the two are usually seen in the school's gym as routine partners, out for runs, or encouraging each other's workout and diet routine. Often leading to Adam having to bribe Tarren to not cheat their diet, which usually ends with the two eating a slice of cake or pie afterwards anyway. These two aren't the worst, by they are by far the oddest duo at LindenWood. A mix of workout partners, occasional study buddies, and even dance partners, as Tarren recently tricked Adam into taking Just Dance as a 'workout' course.

Ren would be lying if they said when they first met Fletcher, they didn't feel an immediate connection to him. There was just something about him, and like most people, Ren eventually adopted him as yet another member of their odd found family. To Ren, he has a tendency of latching onto Tarren whenever Fletcher is left alone, and surprisingly, Ren doesn't mind it much. Compared to some of the others, he's a good, genuine guy and Ren is doing their damndest to watch out for the guy. They know what it's like to have unsupportive people in their life, and Ren's trying to help make up for the trauma and lack of support that Fletcher clearly has been missing.

Having another roommate who's a few years younger than you has it's downsides of course, but the pros that came with being roommates and eventually friends with Sasha outweigh the bad. Ren would and has easily gone to bat for Sasha numerous times, against those who have shown the kid some harsh treatment. Sasha is easily one of the people Ren has been drawn to and managed to open up to, having someone else who just gets what it's like to be out of the 'normal', has helped ease Ren into further accepting themself for how they are. To say Ren would do anything for Sasha, is putting it lightly.

But factoring the on and off situation Sol has with Adam, it's only further complicated things, even if Ren tries to act like it doesn't exist, or bother them, or how it makes them feel in the end. Ren knows no matter how hard the two of them could ever try to make it work, it just wouldn't end well, right? Besides, even if Ren didn't want to admit it, Sol was a bit too good for them anyway, even if she wasn't truly perfect...Ren just, didn't measure up to when Sol would deserve...So they keep silent, hoping the feelings and complications between them goes away....

Not many people would believe it now, seeing the hatred that seems to exist between Sol and Charlie, but once upon a time, Charlie looked up to Sol. The captain of her dance team, seemingly untouched by everything around her, and gorgeous to boot. And then, along came Adam, and Sol and Charlie's relationship fell apart. Truth be told, it wasn't the first time Charlie had inadvertently damaged a relationship by sleeping with the wrong person, and god knows her fear of Sol doesn't stem from that. What terrifies Charlie about Sol is the fact that Sol could read her like a book and seemed to know exactly how to destroy Charlie if she wanted to. The most terrifying part is that, despite everything, not only would Charlie let her, but there's a part of her that almost wants that.

Sasha originally gravitated to Charlie based on the fact that she was from New York and Sasha was obsessed with finding their birth mother when they first came to the States. Plus, she was very similar to their best friend Ellie from home. At the time, Sasha would have considered Charlie one of their truest friends, from all the thrift shopping and jokes shared. Their friendship almost became more, at a party where they drunkenly kissed. But then they both pretended nothing had happened, and then Adam came into the picture. Sasha ended the friendship, using the excuse of being a good friend for Sol to hide the fact that they were more upset about Charlie sleeping with Adam. Sasha almost backed out of the Egypt trip knowing she was going, but they weren't going to let fear ruin a good trip, and they missed Charlie. A lot. It sucked being just another person that hurt Charlie.

Nova and Sasha aren’t particularly close, but they always have a good time when they do hang out. As the resident Brits, they have a connection through that and Nova reminds them so much of home. They have plenty of healthy debates, and Nova is another one of their film buddies.

Ren is the older sibling they never have. As much as Sasha may tease or bring up something that Ren isn’t too happy to know he knew about, they really cherish the friendship that the two of them share. Talking about their experiences as non-binary people has really confirmed Sasha’s feelings about their identity and their confidence. They are one of the few people Sasha couldn’t give up to keep a friendship with Sol, though that problem has seemed to sort itself out. Sasha tries not to be the annoying younger sibling type, and prove that they would do anything to keep Ren’s solid friendship.

Sasha mainly knows Yousof because of Rahmi and Ren. They're friendly enough, considering they’re both frequent visitors of the movie club showings. He seems a little… odd, but nice nonetheless. They don’t have anything against Yousof.

"Rahmi is a babe, we smoke all the time together. Plus no one else like vegan macaroni like we do."
Rahmi and Sasha clicked from the moment they met. They enjoy smoking together and Rahmi’s one of the few people who eat vegan in the dorms. They’ve talked about Rahmi’s identity before, and Sasha has always been adamant about supporting her with whatever she wanted to be. They originally met through the history class, so their friendship hasn’t been long, but it’s grown easily and Sasha loves hanging around with Rahmi. It’s much more relaxing to just smoke and laughing a memes for a few hours.

Sasha and Adam were easy friends. They grew up in a very familiar situation and Adam understands him bizarrely well. And considering Adam spent a lot of time with Sol and Ren, the two saw each other often and Sasha has always been weak to hot abs. Adam is a peculiar guy, but seeing Sol happy was something the two were both adamant about, and Sasha even tried to give tips on how to be a better boyfriend for Sol. Those tips included pop culture references that were often used between Sasha and Sol. Once Sasha knew about about Adam hooking up with Charlie, they distanced themselves to keep from hurting their own feelings. They play nice when Sol and Adam aren't on a break but it doesn't stop the wondering of why he was better than Sasha.

Sasha had clicked with Soledad the moment they met. Her fashion sense alone drew him in for an introduction and they’d been glued to the hip ever since. Sasha is enamored with Sol like a lovesick puppy, they've dropped plans and friends to stay in Sol's good graces. They know that Sol has flaws, but Sol has always been someone Sasha could come to and be instantly cheered up. Sasha will always see the good in Sol, and ignores any flaws that are pointed out. No matter what, she'll always be their best friend through the good and the bad. Plus, defending Sol as a friend was a much easier reason to break off their friendship with Charlie than admitting their feelings for her. It wasn't fair to Sol, Sasha knew that well, but that's what friends were for, right?
