Description: A surviving member of the early ceratosaurs. It is highly agressive, even to its own kind. The large nasal crests on its head are used both in combat and for display purposes during mating rituals.

Habitat: Coastal cliffsides

Description: A unique species of monitor lizard. It has a distinctive rainbow colored sail. It uses this sail to regulate its body temperature and also to attract mates. It primarily eats eggs, fish, and sometimes seagulls and smaller lizards.

Description: A kind of labyrinthodont, a salamander-like amphibian. Normally harmless predators, they prefer eating fish, squid, carrion, & shellfish. They are territorial however and will attack if provoked. They have evolved throat fins on the sides of their necks for display purposes.

Description: A small coelurosaur that feeds primarily on fish and squid. It is special in the way it hunts; it uses its nasal horn to spear prey in the water and then toss it onto land then finishes the job with its teeth. They prove to be competitive with each other if they gather in one place, fighting over fish.

Habitat: Shallow beach waters

Description: A giant beach dwelling crocodilian. They are mostly sedenary predators, sitting like a log in the water and waiting with their jaws wide open. Once something comes close it snatches it and then eats it. It is capable of doing things as small as a fish to something as large as a seal.

Habitat: Shallow beach waters

Description: A giant eurypterid, also known as a sea scorpion. It is more related to horseshoe crabs than scorpions, so it has no venom in its tail. It is an ambush predator, hiding in wait before going in for the attack.

Length: 50-60 ft.

Weight: 9-10 tons

Diet: Carnivore

Habitat: Oceans

Description: A giant squid that that can tolerate the warmer water. They have incredible camouflage, capable of turning nearly invisible; It uses this camouflage to hunt prey. It also protects it from most predators, that is except for Brygmoxamos who can smell it. It's only real defense against it are a jet of ink and its suckers.

Description: A pliosaur that is a cousin to the Xamatohades, but acts much like a sperm whale. It primarily hunts the Xamoyan giant squid and is often riddled with scars in the shape of squid suckers. They are not particularly agressive, only interested in large game.

Length: 50-60 ft.

Weight: 13-15 tons

Diet: Carnivore

Habitat: Coast

Description: A gigantic oceanic mosasaur. It primarily eats whales, turtles, giant squid, sharks, other mosasaurs, plesiosaurs, and even the Xamoyan icthyosaur. Its jaws are powerful, capable of cracking the armor of a Tyrannodunkle. It will hide in the kelp of the sea floor and then give chase from below.

Name: Xamoyan wyvern

Wingspan: 40-50 ft.

Weight: 6-7 tons

Diet: Carnivore

Habitat: Mountains/skies

Description: A lesser relative to the Xamoyan dragon. It could breathe like its relative but due to competition it is being driven to extinction and their population is dwindling.

Height: 8-10 ft.

Weight: 1,000-1,200 lbs.

Diet: Omnivore

Habitat: Mountains

Description: A large ape native to Xamoyos and a relative to the gorilla. They are not normally agressive, only when threatened and especially if it's a silverback. They live in family groups composed of the silverback alpha, several younger males, a harem of females, and their offspring. They are omnivores and will eat anything they can. Despite their size they are preyed upon semi-regularly in the mountains.

Tentacle length: 10-15 ft.

Weight: 100-120 lbs.

Diet: Carnivore

Habitat: Chasm

Description: A strange arthropod. In place of armor on its limbs it evolved hooked tentacles for the purpose of grabbing prey to then forcfully eat alive. It is one of the few animals immune to the Xamoyan giant spiders venom and has been known to eat its babies.

Weight: 4-5 oz.

Diet: Nectarivore

Habitat: Jungle

Description: A kind of hummingbird that is for the most part no different than its normal relatives. They sometimes will perch on animals who will let them and are the favored prey of the Xamoyan giant wasp.

Name: Xamoyan giant wasp

Wingspan: 6-7 in.

Weight: 4-5 oz.

Diet: Carnivore

Habitat: Jungle

Description: A gigantic species of wasp with a powerful stinger, its prey of choice are small birds. It has another, more nutritious foodsource however: Gigantopede larvae. What they do is find a nest and lay their eggs inside. Once the larvae hatch it will proceed to eat everything in the nest. The larvae grow at a shocking speed, able to fend for itself immediately at birth hence the mother abandoning it. The venom of its sting is lethal if it enters a vital organ.

Weight: 12-15 lbs.

Habitat: Swamp

Description: A kind of bird found in the swamps and sometimes the river, often coming to feed or mate. Apart from its impressive size there is nothing very special about this bird much like the Xamoyan great heron.

Length: 12-15 in.

Weight: 1-2 lbs.

Diet: Carnivore

Habitat: Swamp

Description: Looks like a normal snail at first glance but it is actually a scavenger with a gross method of feeding. Its slime is acidic and dissolves flesh upon contact so that it may eat the softened tissue. It is one of many kinds of scavenger in the swamps.

Weight: 15-20 lbs.

Diet: Insectivore

Habitat: Prairies/jungle

Description: A kind of pterosaur known for eating the parasites off of giant sauropods. They spend almost their entire lives clinging to these giant animals. Both genders have crests though the males are larger. Their beaks are pointy and serrated, ideal for catching insects.

Height: 7-8 ft.

Weight: 140-160 lbs.

Diet: Omnivore

Habitat: Unknown

Description: A strange and enigmatic species of cat that has taken an evolutionary pathway similar to humanity. It stand upright, is more intelligent, and uses stone tools. Unlike their ancestors they have become omnivores, being opportunists much like us. They have a toe claw much like a raptor, though it is not used in the same way.

Length: 30-40 ft.

Weight: 7-8 tons

Diet: Herbivore

Habitat: Jungle

Description: The largest ankylosaur on Xamoyos. They are fond of fruit and cycads. An adult has no enemies but juveniles are at risk from predators. When a juvenile feels threated it will hide underneath its mother. The only animal that will attack an adult would be Indominoxamos.

Length: 30-35 ft.

Weight: 3-5 tons

Diet: Carnivore

Habitat: Jungle/desert/mountains

Description: A theropod with an extremely aggressive temprament. They are normally solitary, only coming together to mate. The females are much larger and even more aggressive. The females must leave promptly after mating because rogue males will try to kill her offspring to force her back into heat. They will attack anything that enters their territory, even each other and are often riddled with battle scars.
