Why is caps lock turned off in chat? This is a slippery slope and I'm not sure this is the right choice. gateway...

This latest stunt is really forcing me to consider Nation Council as my permanent home, never to return to Gateway.

Are you on blind mode?

Blind mode automatically turns all your text to not-caps, for the mercy of those with screen readers.

It's under your settings in the chat.

Additionally, there is a new sanction in the chat, to prevent spamming caps - if you overuse a certain amount of caps within a certain amount of time, the system will disable you from using them. It resets after a while, thinking you learned your lesson. I don't know the specifics.

If not being allowed access to spamming block caps is a determining factor in your site membership, then I'm sorry. Truly, I imagine the decision wasn't meant to antagonize you personally.

If you want to emphasize your speech, you also have the option to use bold, underline and italics.
