Hello everyone :)
I thought it would be great to start an Inuyasha role-play (like the anime). If you've never seen the Inuyasha animes, that's perfectly fine (although I would highly recommend it), you can still create new characters of your own according to the guidelines below.

So here is the basic Plot ( the beginning for those who do not know the story... and the starting point):

Born to a dog demon father and human mother, InuYasha is a half-demon who initially wants to use the powers of the Shikon Jewel to become a full demon. After falling in love with Kikyo, the priestess who guards the Jewel, he changes his mind and wants to become human so he can live with her, but Naraku (an evil demon who secretly loves Kikiyo) manipulates both of them into believing they have been betrayed by one another. Kikyo is fatally wounded by Naraku-disguised as Inuyasha, but before she dies, she shoots an arrow through the real InuYasha to seal him onto a sacred tree.

InuYasha remains in suspended animation for fifty years until Kagome Higurashi, Kikyo's reincarnation, pulls out the arrow and frees him. After the Shikon Jewel shatters, InuYasha and Kagome travel together to retrieve its shards. At first, he is hostile and uncooperative, but Kikyo's sister Kaede restrains him with a magical necklace that hurls him to the ground whenever Kagome gives the simple command word "Sit!"

Initially wary of Kagome's resemblance to Kikyo, InuYasha grows to trust her as a friend and they eventually fall in love with each other. He also forms strong friendships with the other companions they gain.

During their adventures, Kikiyo became resurrected from the dead, using a fragment of Kagome’s soul. Not knowing the truth of Naraku’s betrayal, she still seeks revenge on Inuyasha for betraying her and will not rest until she has dragged him to hell with her. Naraku, realizing Kikiyo’s feelings, tries to make a bargain with her to help him defeat Inuyasha and gain the Shikon Jewel to become the strongest demon alive.

Sesshomaru, Inuyasha’s half-brother, wants Naraku dead, but he also wishes to take Inuyasha’s weapon Tetsaiga for himself.

Naraku now has most of the Jewel Shards, only a few pieces are missing. Kagome holds about four shards and are hunting for the other shards with her friends. Naraku is gathering up a huge army, turning them against Inuyasha in hope to complete the Shikon Jewel and become ruler of the world.

And this is where the adventures will begin…

RULES: (to make it all fair and fun for everyone)
-No God-moding
-No killing off people without their permission!
-You can play up to 3 characters at a time (if you feel up to it)
-Posts have to be at least 4 good sentences
-Some swearing is fine, but please do not overdo them. Please try to keep your language clean, rating M-15.
-Make sure you keep in mind your character's weaknesses. They make them more interesting- for you and everyone else!
-If you are given three warnings, you will be kicked from this role-play, no exceptions.
-If you do not post for a long time without word, we will assume you have left and may give your character to another. But if you come back again then we will welcome you once more (no guarantee that you will get back your original character though) If you know you're going to be absent for a while, please do let us know in advance in this OOC thread.
-this roleplay will always be open so invite people!
-Just have lots and lots of fun! (the most important rule :P)

And of course, the alliances can also change around. For example, I have placed Kikiyou in the UNKNOWN alliance for now, because she may want to make a deal with Naraku whilst still caring for Inuyasha... Or Kougra, who is currently working for Naraku, might suddenly decide to betray him... Well, I don't know how the story will turn out, but it's your choice! Just let us know when you create your character sheet :)

*Bio: Born in modern Japan as the reincarnation of the priestess Kikyo, Kagome has the Shikon Jewel unknowingly hidden inside her body until a demon pulls her into the Bone Eater's Well and 500 years back through time. They emerge in the Feudal Era about 50 years after Kikyo's death.
While trying to protect the jewel using a bow and arrow, she accidentally shatters it into numerous shards that disperse throughout the country. She agrees to help find them, as she can sense the presence of nearby shards. Although they often argue, she has gradually fallen in love with InuYasha, and finds herself competing with the revived Kikyo for his affections. During the search for the jewel, Kagome's own spiritual powers and archery skills continue to improve.
*Personality: Determined and will do anything to save her friends, especially Inuyasha. She is often jealous of the strong love between Inuyasha and Kikiyo, but tries to overcome it. Although Kagome is a kind, caring person, when she gets angry she can be quite scary and unforgiving.
*Appearance:

*Abilities/ weapons:
-“Sit!” to Inuyasha, makes him fall to the ground
-*Purification Powers: This power allows Kagome to purify anything she touches. By gathering large amounts of concentrated energy in her right palm, she can direct it at an opponent.
*Spiritual Powers: Kagome can pass through barriers, spells, and illusions. Kagome can also sense evil auras and be unaffected by them to a certain extent.
*Jewel Detecting: This allows Kagome to sense the exact location of the Shikon Jewel shards.
*Kyudo: Kagome uses a basic bow as a weapon. If she infuses her power into the bow, she can reflect an enemy's attack.
*Sacred Arrow: Kagome can fuse her power into her arrows. This allows the arrows to penetrate demonic forces and purify objects.
*Sacred Backlash Wave (only with Inuyasha): This attack is a combination of InuYasha's Backlash Wave and Kagome's Sacred Arrow. It consists of Kagome firing one of her Sacred Arrows into the center of InuYasha's Backlash Wave, creating a very powerful attack.

*Gender: Female

*Race: Human before she died, now a dead being re-created by dirt and bones, kept alive by dead people's souls collected by soul gatherers or Shikigami.

*Alliance: unknown

* Bio: Kikyo is a powerful shrine maiden who was given the task of guarding the Shikon Jewel. She falls in love with InuYasha and considers using the jewel to turn him from a half-demon into a full human; this would cause the Shikon Jewel to vanish, allowing her to live as an ordinary woman by his side. However, Naraku disguises himself as InuYasha to attack her village, mortally wounding her. With her last strength, Kikyo shoots a charmed arrow into the real InuYasha to seal him to a sacred tree, then orders the Shikon Jewel to be burned with her. The jewel disappears and is apparently destroyed, but is reborn 500 years later in the body of Kagome Higurashi, her spiritual reincarnation.

After Kagome travels back through time and reappears fifty years after Kikyo's death, an ogress tries to pull her reincarnated soul into a clay body made with Kikyo's bones and ashes. Kagome appears to suffer no permanent harm, but a small part of her soul detaches and reanimates the new body with Kikyo's memories, personality, and human appearance. Although Kikyo retains some of her old powers in this form, she remains technically "dead" and must absorb the souls of dead women in order to move.

Kikyo still does not know the truth of what happened 50 years ago, believing the Inuyasha betrayed her. Her only wish that keeps her alive is to drag Inuyasha down to Hell with her.

* Personality: When Kikyo was alive, she was quiet, but a gentle, caring priestess. She always felt alone though, with the burden of keeping the Jewel safe, she had always felt different from the others. Now, after being resurrected and believing Inuyasha to be her greatest enemy, she has become much more colder, independent, condescending and revengeful. Whether she will return to her kind nature still remains to be seen...

*Special Powers/ Abilities/ Weapons:

Sacred Arrow: Kikyo shoots a sacrad arrow that can easily destroy demon and break barriers.
Arrow: Kikyo's normal arrow.
Sealing Arrow: Kikyo can shoot an arrow that can strike a foe and place them under a spell, forcing them to fall asleep. It's said that these arrows are meant to seal demons that can't normally be killed by priestesses to a tree until their bodies wither away in coma like state.
Spiritual Powers: Kikyo has the power to break seals, barriers, spells, etc.
Cut: Kikyo has great strength in her hands, by fusing her spiritual powers. She can cut through demon puppets.
Reflect Curse: Kikyo can reflect any incoming curse with a bow.
Shikigami Control: Kikyo controls the Shikigami, a demon which collects soul for her to use, she's able to fly away with them.

Is it okay if I apply for two characters?...
The first is a canon, and the second is an original. ;D

Oh...and just to let you know..Naraku's first female apprentice/incarnation is called Kagura, not "Kougra." ;P




*Name: Rin
*Gender: Female
*Race: Human
*Alliance: Sesshoumaru's group.
* Bio: Rin is a small girl about the age of five who is an orphan. Both of her parents were murdered when she was young, and she left the village she was living in. She is a common traveler/wanderer and is basically a pick-pocket and thief. She must live the life of 'survival of the fittest,' in order to get by in the Feudal Era. Upon an interesting encounter with the demon, Sesshoumaru, she spied on him for a bit and even brought him food after he was wounded rather badly during a fight with his younger half-brother, InuYasha. Then, Rin was chased down by wolves, and killed. Luckily, Sesshoumaru has a healing sword called "Tenseiga" and he used it as an experiment on Rin to see if she would be brought back to life. Due to his good deed, Rin decided to stick with Sesshoumaru and his trusty side-kick, Jaken.
* Personality: Rin seems to be a lonely little girl who suffers from the tragic murder of her parents. (She travels with Lord Sesshoumaru and Lord Jaken, for safe-keeping, and because they pretty much acquired each other on the way.) She is a very caring little girl and tries her best to help out Lord Sesshoumaru the best she can. She is sweet and innocent.
*Appearance: to the left
*Special Powers/ Abilities/ Weapons: Rin really doesn't have any special abilites, weapons, or powers. Really, the only 'ability' she has is being sweet and innocent. Usually, she gets her way and is very cunning and sneaky. Her most diabolical weapon is her Lord Sesshoumaru. ^.^









*Name: Katinya "Kati" Nagawa
*Age: 221
*Gender: Female
*Height: 5'6"
*Race: Demon
*Alliance: Kati is part of the Rasuki Clan, which is basically a group of abandoned demons who were treated as tortured slaves by the ruler of their clan, Raptur - a large, reptillion demon that possessed dinosaur-like qualities.
*Bio: Kati was born into the Rasuki Clan as an experiment through elements and soils. Basically, she carries some of the same characteristics as the reincarnated Kikyou. However, through further training and spells, she has been created into a "mystery demon," meaning she doesn't necessarily know what 'kind' of demon she is. At the opportunity of leaving the Rasuki Clan, she ran off to travel on her own. She found she was infatuated with the demon, Lord Sesshoumaru.
* Personality: She is a mysterious type of woman, because she has no true 'nature'. Considering she was created as an experiment, she has no real way of acting. She is somewhat devious and has a clever quirk to her mind, but her true personality is yet to be revealed.
*Appearance: to the right
*Special Powers/ Abilities/ Weapons: Her powers are flying, teleportation, and mind-reading. The only weapons she uses is two poison-enchanted daggers. When they enter the flesh of any other being, the poison basically stains and taints their blood, causing an unknown effect to that particular being. (the effects vary, so it is up to that character to choose the effect)

This is perfect. I wrote an inuyahsa fan fic and put a char in it that i can use here. I am also a inuyahsa fan. (Koga Rules!!)

*Age: 68 (looks 18)

*Alliance: Sesshomaru's group
*Bio: Kensei grew up as an outcast of his family because of his half human blood. He tried everything to fit in, even fighting in the war at Sesshomaru's side as his 3rd in command. He was thought to be killed in the war but he survived, and one day found Sesshomaru, joining him and promising to help him out of loyalty. Even after joining Sesshomaru, he never travels with him, he is always alone, doing whatever he pleases unless Sesshomaru calls on him.
* Personality: Very loyal and energetic. He loves fighting and just playing around as long as he is doing something that involves moving.
*Appearance:

1. Kensei has the usual demon regeneration.
2. Kensei weilds his father's sword, Uindo, that controls the wind. (direction, sharpness, and strength.)
3. Kensei's senses of sight and hearing are much better than any normal demons.

*Bio: He was born in the Feudal Era with his mother as a Succubus and his father as a hunter, he found a well which brought him 500 years into the future and lived there in peace for 11 years until he returned for reasons unknown. He was born with a mystical power to transform into a demon when his emotions get into a bunch whish is one reason he keeps his emotions alone and lives without love, hate, anger, or passion. Sorrow is the only thing that doesn't activate his powers and so he keeps like that. He has lots of energy which he uses in training and fighting, but other than that he is unknown to the people and to his own friends.
* Personality: He's an energetic, but sorrowful person. He keeps to himself most the time, but will talk and show no emotion only because he cares for the people he's with.

*Special Powers/ Abilities/ Weapons:
- Demon Transformation: Will transform into his demon self when any of his emotions show up in great amounts except for sorrow. When in his demon form, he wields 2 blades, his clothes change into a fire-proof material, his wings allow him to fly, and he can see sacred jewel shards with his left eye even through objects. He drains lots of power when he's in his demon form and could easily change back if he's in desperate need.
- Lei'Shawn: by holding out his palm and calling out the name, he can send a blast of light in front of him that is blinding even with your eyes closed. If a living organism touches the light, it is turned to white for an unknown amount of time.

When she concentrates. Because, when people LIST their thoughts, and she's in close range, she'll be able to hear them. So, if someone posted their character's thoughts, then she would be able to hear them.
