Ris took a quick step backwards before jumping into the air, keeping his arms, legs, and tail as close to his body as he could while twisting throughout the flip. The flaming knife sliced through the air below him, though he avoided the attack rather well, only feeling the heat as it flew by. The fox landed in a crouched position, his good hand again on the ground for support. This time, he wasn't smirking. Ris was rather confused. "Food? Whoa, whoa, wait, hold on a sec. You're trying to -eat- me?"

"What did you think I was doing?" Kamachi asked as his knife stopped in midair, spun around, and started shooting fireballs at the...vulpine, was it? It didn't matter what was the name of the food, only if it tasted good -- and all meat tasted good, so long as no jackass did anything to it, such as cook it.

"Wait, I think I remember somebody saying this food is part of the Ultimate Organization..." Kama said, in deep thought.

"What? They let food be members? That's bullshit!" said Kamachi, stopping his attack.

Ris' ears perked up at the sound of the Ultimate Organization, straightening up. "Wait, how do you two know about the UO...?" Then it struck the blue fox as to why they had seemed familiar...They had just been traveling together for a while, even though they had never really been introduced. While his left arm hung limply at his side, Ris scratched the back of his neck with his right, grinning sheepishly. "Well...that was...odd..."

"Argh...you mean I have to travel around with food? You know how tempting that will be?" Kamachi said, frustrated. "Meh...I need a...what was it called? Beer?"

Kama went up to the vulpine. "Hmm...what's your name?"

Ris rolled his eyes at Kamachi before turning his attention to Kama. Nodding in acknowledgment, he said, "I'm Ris, Ris Grestar." Giving a short laugh, he said, "Nice to meet ya, but I've gotta say, your friend's a bit on the...crazy side...Does he normally attack people with the intent to eat 'em?"

'So these are the new guys of the UO...I guess. Well, I'm sure I'll have plenty of time to get to know 'em if that's the case.'

"Well, I don't know him very well..." Kama said. "But I'd say yes. Oh, by the way, this is Chad, my best friend, and Salitna, my brother's girlfriend." He pointed to the two people sitting in chairs, bored.

Ris nodded to each in turn, his furry tail idly swishing behind him. "Well, glad to be gettin' to know everyone, then...Maybe things like this won't happen again." He turned to Kamachi, giving him a "You know what I mean" stare, before turning back to Kama, sliding his right hand into his pocket. "Alright, so you're not from here...obviously. Where're you guys from? Like, a different planet or a completely different galaxy, maybe?"

A little surprised, he simply uttered, "Ah."

'Another universe, eh? Heh, even farther than me.'

Extending a hand, Ris waited for him to accept. "Anyway, I guess we're gonna be together for quite a while, what with all the UO's doing and all...whatever it is. Might as well be on good terms, eh?" After all, the blue vulpine loved his arms. He wouldn't want to have to face another lightning bolt if he could avoid it.

Kama looked at his hand. "I thought you didn't want to be eaten?" he said, puzzled.

Ris cocked an eyebrow in confusion, his tail flicking to the side as he registered what the man had said. "No, I...don't want to be eaten..." After another minute of though, he looked at his hand, then back at Kama. "Do people from your universe...shake hands in greeting?"

'Dang, I've gotta be more careful before they think I'm letting 'em eat me...'

"Shake hands? Why would we do that? It sounds stupid..." Kama said as Kamachi sat down and started to read a magazine with Chad and Salitna.

"Whoa, take a load of this!" Kamachi said, pointing at his magazine. "It's mostly pictures! Why would you want to read a book with pictures in it?"

"It's called a magazine," Pharell Titan said, slowly walking up the stairs to greet the newest UO members. He seemed to be typing something on a small data pad before putting it in his pocket. "The pictures don't detract from it's value, they just are there to provide some visual. I've been watching you two, uh...battle for a while now. Mind telling me a bot about yourselves, hmm? The more we know about alien species, the more we can improve our relations with them, you know? Though, I must say, if you're going to travel to another Universe, it might do you a bit of good to learn about it first, eh?"

Moving to cross his arms over his chest but stopping when he realized only one arm was responding, Ris returned to sticking his hand in his pocket as he watched the man. His ear twitching and his tail slowly swishing around his legs, Ris said, "If you're gonna get to know me any more, I'd expect you to tell us about yourself first." The fox then shrugged his good shoulder, looking to Kama and the others. "Unless they wanna talk about themselves, of course."

"I'm Pharell Titan," Pharell sighed, shaking his head with slight agitation. " Special Forces Captain of the U.P.A. That's all there really is to me. I've...dealt with the Ultimate Organization before. Though, they seem to be a bit desperate in getting new members. Of course many sides suffered losses during that war," Pharell shrugged. " The UO isn't an exception, I guess."

Ris' ear twitched in his own slight agitation, his tail also flicking to the side before slowly gliding down to rest behind him. "Desperate for new members, eh? Care to explain yourself? I mean, just to make sure that we're both on the same page and all."

The vulpine -just might- have taken it a little offensively, though he kept himself calm. After all, not like Pharell's opinion mattered much at all to him.

Kamachi took offense to Titan's comment as well. "A bit desperate to get new members? I'm a much desired bounty hunter who kills for a living, my brother has to be one of the strongest kids for his age, my girlfriend, Salitna, is a top medic, and Chad is a weapon specialist -- yeah, see all those weapons he has on him? He made them all himself, and he knows how to use them. And for your information, there was almost nothing on this universe in the databanks -- universe traveling is still a new and highly-expensive technology. You better give me a damn good reason for me to tell you more about myself."

Pharell shook his head, chuckling to himself. "Relax," he laughed, an eyebrow raised in a musement. "It's a joke. Nothing to get too upset about. Anyway, I just wanted information on the two of you, because we don't have either of your species in our universal data banks." Pharell then turned to look at Ris and said, "Originally, I thought you were a mutation, but my scanner tells me that is not the case. At any rate, I only wish for your information to gain data on your species. If you do not want to tell me now, then I'll just have the science team pick it up when we join you on your mission."

"Heh, whatever information you can glean you can keep" Kamachi said as he sat down with his magazine. "Heh, 'adding value'...pictu and words are two things that should never be mixed."

The fox didn't try too hard to hide his smirk, his eyes flicking over Pharell as he silently studied him. "I've gotta agree with him, actually, despite how insane he may be. You're scientists--you should be able to pick up whatever you need to know without us tellin' ya. Anyway, about that mission ya just mentioned...I don't suppose you know when it is? Maybe there's a briefing or something we need to go to?"
