Mizu Touya

Mizu and her mom had been driving for a couple hours. Akane resort was quite a ways away from where they lived in Japan, so they had to travel there. Now, Mizu could see the main building of the resort down the road. "Are you sure you want to stay here for a month?" her mother asked as the car pulled up to the building.
"Yeah, I'll be fine." Mizu said. "It's not everyday that you get a chance like this." She gathered up her stuff and once the car had stopped, she opened the door and stepped outside. Wow... the resort is huge... she thought as she looked around. It was also really beautiful here.
"I've got to go Mizu, I have to get back home to take care of your little sister." her mother said. Mizu turned around and grabbed the rest of her stuff out of the car and then looked at her mother. "Ok. I'll see you in a month." she said and then watched as her mother drove away.

Mizu turned around and looked at the huge resort in front of her. It was really exciting to be here, since Mizu never really got to go to resorts like this that much. Also, this was Akane Resort! The most famous resort in all of Japan! She looked around and saw nobody else at the resort. No other visitors, no other tourists. This is strange... she thought as she walked into the main building with her stuff. It was empty in there too besides the woman at the desk that looked bored. She was tapping her pencil against the notebook on the desk while scrolling through things on the computer.
"Hello, are you here for the host project?" the woman at the desk asked Mizu as she walked up to the desk.
Mizu blinked and stared at the person for a while. "The Host Project?" she asked.
"Oh, yes, I forgot that you guys don't know about the project yet." the woman said and then put a key and a letter on the desk. "Here is your room key and a special letter from the owner of the Resort. I hope you enjoy your stay." The woman then went back to what she had been doing on the computer, not paying any attention to Mizu anymore.

A letter...? Why would I get a letter from the owner..? Mizu thought as she picked up the letter and the key and started walking towards her room with her stuff. Once she got to the room, she unlocked the door and walked inside. Once she was inside the room, she flicked on the light and looked around. It was a really nice room, and since she was staying here for a month, the resort had said that she could decorate it for the time being. The bed was made perfectly and everything was nice and clean. There was a bed, a dresser, a bookshelf, a desk with a computer on it, two extra doors...
Wait... why are there two other doors in the room? she thought as she walked over to one of the extra doors in the room. It was extremely strange. They couldn't be opened since there wasn't a doorknob or something of the sort. Well, this is strange... she thought and then walked over to the bed and sat down. She looked at the note and then slowly ripped it open. She pulled out the formal piece of paper and then started to read.

Dear Human,
Welcome to Akane resort! What do you think of the resort so far? You might be wondering why you've gotten a note from me, the owner. Well, I just wanted to inform you about The Host Project. You might've already heard about it from Aiko at the front desk, but you might've not.
Well, your stay here is not going to be a normal one. During your stay here, your going to have two (maybe more) hosts. What are the hosts going to do? That I'm not going to tell you directly, instead, your going to have to figure that out. on your own.
I hope you enjoy your stay.

Sincerely,
The Owner

kamiya fujime

There were several ways for Kamiya to arrive at the resort. He could

a) go by car
b) fly there
c) magically transport himself into the lobby
d) walk there

He personally liked option c but since this was all supposed to be a competition to gain the affection and love of a human, he decided that teleporting into the midst of the lobby would probably be a bad idea. So he hired a car. Reclining in the leather back of the town car, his pink yukata sliding off his shoulders as always, Kamiya pushed pieces of bread through the bars of Aiko's cage. Normally, the pink phoenix would be on his shoulder, but the company he had hired had insisted that he keep all pets contained.

Not that Aiko minded it. She was perfectly fine with being in a cage - as long as she was with Kamiya. There was a mutual sense of need between owner and bird.

His foot tapping in rhythm with the Japanese pop song playing on the radio, Kamiya waved a stick of millet in front of Aiko's face. The phoenix gave him a scandalizing look, before snapping at the stick. Kamiya pulled it away, so the bird's beak got nothing but air. Aiko let out an angry squawk, flapping her wings in annoyance. Kamiya laughed softly, before shoving the millet through the bars and letting Aiko at it.

"We have arrived, sir," the driver sounded almost...relieved to be rid of Kamiya. Then again, for the first half hour of their ride, Kamiya had played with the man's hair and stolen his cap with his bare feet...twice. The angel quickly unlatched Aiko's door and the bird hopped out onto his shoulder, settling back into the place she usually was. Getting out, Kamiya stretched, readjusting the lapel of his yukata. He fished out a few bills to give to the driver.

"Keep the change," Kamiya whispered, as the driver came to give the angel his luggage. Kamiya leaned forward, breathing softly over the driver's ear while sliding the cash into his front pocket. The driver shivered, a reaction that Kamiya, who was looking for it, could see. A bright red blush covered the young man's cheek before the driver ducked his head, pulling his cap over his eyes. He executed a quick bow, before dashing back into the car and driving away. Laughing, Kamiya turned to study the resort. It was a large place, rather magnificent as well. But he wasn't here for relaxation. He was here to win a certain...game.

All he had to do was make a human fall in love with him, right? Well, that should be easy enough. Kamiya had been doing it for quite a while, after all. Making his way into the lobby, Kamiya waved to the receptionist. His eyes went to her name tag. "Aiko~" he whispered to his bird. "You have the same name~"

Once he received his room assignment and his key, Kamiya headed down the hall, admiring the decor and the sheer size of the resort. This was most definitely going to be quite fun~

Zaron Spade

Zaron headed to earth his white wings spread wide as he gracefully landed a bit away from the resort. The luggage he had brought sent down through a small beam of light. Unlike all the other angel who wore the robes or kimono he dressed the way he had while he was alive. A blue hoodie, dark wash jeans, white shirt, and pair of black crocs. Zaron's bright blue eyes with light red circles under them scanned the beautiful hotel. "Wow! Its nice here considering where I came from before I died." He whispered lightly. "Alright lets get this over and done with." He said hiding his wings from mortal view.

Zaron grabbed his things and headed into the hotel that was empty and headed to the front desk. The lady gave him a key and he headed up to the room. He wasm't happy about the elevators it was funny really an angel afraid of heights, but not afraid to fly it made no sense. Once in the room he threw his stuff in and flopped on the bed it was soft and comfy, not as nice as a cloud but just all the same. Zaron noticed another door he looked at it a little confused. "Hmmm . . . Should I?" He thought to himself. "Eh. . . Why not!"

Zaron cautiously went up to the door as old instincts came back to him. He knocked on the door and he opened up slowly just to take a peek. Zaron's bright blue eyes scanned the whole room then he opened the door up some more. The door was opened enough to fit his head through. "Hello?" He finally called out a bit heistant but ready to pull himself back in.

Mio Namaikina

Mio sketched in her drawing pad on the way up to the resort. She was wearing a pair of worn out jeans and a form fitting black t-shirt, and had her hair up with the red bow her foster mother, Lea-san, had sewn for her. She usually wore casual worn-out stuff, but the only thing she actually did take special care for and was the only dress she owned was the one Lea-san had made her before she died. She only wore it on special occasions. Her foster father, Papa as she called him, wasn't feeling well so she had taken a cab. The resort was actually just a ways out of town from where she lived, so the drive wasn't too bad. Mio was excited she was getting to go to the famous Akane Resort, but something was off. She had won this trip completely free of charge. It would be one thing if she entered a contest, but she didn't. About a week ago she had recieved a letter congratulating her that she had won a free trip to Akane for a whole month. The whole thing was suspicious. It didn't make sense, but then again, maybe she was just thinking too hard.

The car finally stopped in front of the resort. She thanked the driver as he got her luggage out of the trunk. She handed him his payment and watched as he drove back to town. Mio studied the garden. Beautiful. There were so many different colors it was almost unreal. She started counting off colors in her head. Light tangerine, golden yellow, fushia, crimson, forest green, dark green, indigo. She was already making plans to start painting the whole garden. She decided she would start after she got unpacked.

Mio casually strolled into the lobby and something pink immediately caught her eye. When she turned to look, she immediately wished she hadn't. There, by the front desk was a strange man who didn't look much older then herself that was completely drenched in pink. His yukata was pink, his hair was pink, even his pet bird was pink. Pink pink pink. Mio frowned and three words immediately popped in her head. Gaudy, narcisstic, and arrogant. Eck. However, she did absolutely adored his pet bird. It was odd. Some sort of rare exotic bird. Mio had never seen anything like it, but it was absolutely beautiful. It had gorgeous plumage and by the way it held itself, it was quite graceful. Mio's fingers were itching to get her pencils and start drawing the bird, but she fought the urge. There was no way she was going to talk to that guy. Instead, she made her way to the counter.

"Hello. I'm here to stay for a month. I won a trip?" she said. "Ah, right. Here." The woman handed her a letter and her room key. "What's this..?" she asked studing the letter. "It's from the owner. You'll see when you read it." "Alright..." Mio said slightly confused. Why would the owner send her a letter? Speaking of which, as Mio made her way to her room, she noticed that the whole resort was empty. So far, she had only seen that pink guy. No one else. Odd. she thought.

When Mio found her room, she was very pleased. It was neat and spacious. Plus, she could customize it. Perfect. The only thing she raised an eyebrow at was the two doors in her room with no handles, but she just shrugged it off. She immediately pulled her drawing pad out and started sketching on her bed forgetting all about the letter she recieved on her nightstand.

DJ Woodstock

Woodstock was quite glad that he was a professional at technology...otherwise, he would have never gotten such a deal at the Akane Resort. Signed himself up for some secret project they had on-file. The Host Project or something like that. Not that he really cared...for him, it was a free month in a great hotel. And that was superb.

However, for the same token that he hacked--ah, that is, signed up, it was also the reason he was walking the three hundred God-forsaken miles from the last place he set down. Ah, well...it wasn't too bad. He just had to set out early. Not a big problem. Staying in dinky motels and setting camp on the side of the road for a week would be worth it. As he entered the lobby of the Hotel, he wasn't wrong. The place was like only in his dreams. Once he was done ogling at the main area of the obviously should-be-millions-of-dollars hotel, he went up to the main desk, clearing his throat to catch the receptionist's attention. She looked up, seemingly glad for something to do.

"Ah, yes, are you here for the Host Project?" The woman said this with a smile, but caught her mistake, knowing the last human to pass through had been clueless to the project. However, before she could correct herself, she was interrupted by his silent nod. She cocked an eyebrow. "Uh...I see. Well, then, here's the key to your room and a letter from the owner." She went boredly back to her computer as he looked to the letter for a moment, before shoving it into his pocket and making his way to his room.

He smiled as he entered the room, the room being richer than anything he'd ever had. Ever. His eyes devoured the richness, his laugh echoing as he saw the computer, the newest and best model. Oh, that's a dangerous decision... But his smile faded as he saw the two doors. No doorknobs. He set his bag and briefcase on his bed, making his way to the doors. Perhaps it was a prank? He knocked; it was hallow. A room. No prank. SOMEONE had their rooms connected to his. That was unacceptable. With a growl, he put himself under the the bookshelf, moving it in front of the first door, blocking it. He did the same with the dresser, blocking the second door.

He then flopped onto the bed, panting, smile planted upon his face. Now he would have privacy...placing his headphones from his neck onto his ears, he smiled as he pressed play on his iPod, fishing out a bottle of Jack Daniels from his bag, removing the top and tipping the bottle back, then looking to the Woodstock plush that he fished out with it. To me.

Eurydice

Eurydice sighed as she stood at the entrance of the resort. It was... quaint. Good for human standards, but little compared to what she had grown accustomed to in the underworld. She had changed into a special outfit for this occasion. A knee length black gown with a sheer blue throw delicately draped around her shoulders. A single blue rose was woven into her lush curls that seemed to hold the mystery of midnight within them as they framed her ash-white skin. To some her luxurious attire may have seemed a bit much, but the clothing was little compared to her most startling feature: her eyes. Her eyes were a sterling blue unlike any of this world and perhaps that was it; she was not of this world any longer. Her gaze seemed to pierce any that she looked at as if she could see their deepest secrets. And perhaps, she could. After all there was no hiding one's desires from Lust. In truth, she was the embodiment of this deadly sin risen by her demonic master that imprisoned her life that fateful night. She had long ago accepted this fact and with it, she was confident in luring the eye of the mortal she was sent to woe. It would be a simple task for Lust, as her late-master often referred to her.

Eurydice wasted no time checking in and setting her few belongings away. Her room was just as requested. Black lace hung from the walls as if incased in an eternal night sky when light peeked between the sheer fabric to give the illusion of a night sky. White orchids decorated the room in a dazzling display, spotted with the occasional blue rose. She loved the beauty of nature almost as much of the beauty of song. She sighed in thought, it had been quite awhile since she last sang.

Even so, now was not the time to ponder such petty thoughts. Smoothing her gown, Eurydice flowed from her room with a soft smile painted upon her lips. She had work to do after all. Even if her own human was late, there were other minds she could taint. Even Angels were not immune to Lust. She chuckled to herself, a dangerous gleam dancing in her eyes as she perched herself in the lobby to watch the other guest mingle about. She did not worry about not being noticed. She always had the ability to capture one's eye as she sat upon a cream couch that deeply contrasted her own appearance.

Akio Miaga

Akio laughed at the resort, his new stage, as he walked around it a few times to get a better look at it. The garden gave a romantic feel and he sat in it for a while while he thought up the character he would take up for this month. Perhaps a silly crybaby, or a very dramatic person, perhaps a pervert or a shy boy. He could think of a milion personas and a million disguises and ways to get the lady whose heart he was to steal in a matter of seconds. This garden gave him much inspiration, I should plant one like this in hell. Akio thought with a slight laugh. He looked at a small red rose bush next to the bench he had sat on, and the idea came to him. The perfect man. He'd be a gentleman and a hopeless romantic. He smiled, the best part would be that he didn't have to do anything drastic to his naturally good looking appearance.
Akio stood up with a cocky grin on his lips and walked with his hands in his pockets to his brother who seemed to just be showing up. "Hello brother." He greeted, taking Yukio's suitcase and walking inside to their shared room. He opened the suitcase on the bed and took out a soft red scarf and pointed to it. "I must borrow this." He said, taking the scarf and walking over to his bed where his luggage was already laying, for he had sent it in early. "It's for my costume."
He pulled out a black tee shirt and put it on, and then put on a red and white jacket. He put the scarf on carefully, for he knew how much Yukio loved his scarves, and then ruffled up his red hair to make it look more windblown and dramatic.
Akio grinned at himself in the mirror and turned to his brother, "I look great don't I?" He said, "I don't even have to tarnish my good looks with dyes or makeup to complete my disguise, my own looks do the tricks for the character I'll be playing today." He chuckled and sat down on his bed next to his suitcase and yawned.
Then, Akio lazily stood up and unpacked his suitcase, then laid back on his soft, fluffy bed.

Mizu Touya

Hosts? Who are they? Ugh... Mizu thought as she lied back on the bed. All of a sudden, she heard the sound of someone knocking on a door, a doorknob turning, and the creak of a door opening. I wonder if it's one of the other people staying at the resort. she thought.

"Hello?"

"Wha-?" Mizu said as she shot up from the bed and looked around the room. The voice had been in her room! In her room! Something blue caught her eye and she turned to focus on it. It was a boy with blue hair looking in through one of the extra doors that was in her room.
"How'd you...?" she said as she then noticed that there was a door knob on the other side of the door. Why was there a doorknob on his side, but not hers? Mizu sighed. This is going to be a long trip... she thought then focused back on the boy that was looking into her room.
For a while, Mizu just sat there, staring at the guy, a ton of thoughts going through her mind all at once. Then, she realized how stupid she must be looking right now.
"Who are you?" she said as she stood up, leaving the letter and the key to the room on the bed. Hm... it's not everyday that you see a boy with blue hair. Not to mention a boy with blue hair looking into your room....

Emerald Xiloscient

Emerald stretched slightly, deciding that maybe it was about time she headed to the hotel. She had decided to come at least a little late so she might be able to step in before anyone realized who she was, or maybe was too busy to realize she was even there. She stood up from her seat, unhappy to have a reason to leave it. She liked exploring those minds; it gave her something new to work with aside from other demons. Still, she got up and started walking to the hotel. She didn't really want to run, but she had too much energy to use one of those...what did humans use again? Cars? Perhaps she shouldn't have come to Earth when she was so young; she felt like she should remember more, but she barely remembered it. Still, it couldn't be too bad.

She hesitated as she saw the hotel, then shook her head and approached. She hated doing this sort of thing; walking into a place she's never ben to before on her own, not knowing what to expect, and knowing full well that she was expected to win over a human. Against one of those damned angels! How was she supposed to manage that? Very carefully, she decided. Finally, she walked in, debating just rading her mind to find out where her room was. But she needed to get her key so, with a sigh, she walked to the desk to get the information, and her key. As soon as she could, as soon as it could be considered polite, she walked away to find her room.

She walked in, glancing around. So the room wasn't so bad. She took a brief note of the door in the room, and walked over to it. Experimentally, she turned the knob and pushed...but nothing happened. Something was blocking it. Instead, she closed her eyes, leaning against the door. It wasn't often that she tried to read someone's mind when she couldn't see them, but she had to get an idea of what this guy was like, didn't she? Unfortunately, it was harder when she couldn't see the owner of the mind she was looking for, and so it often took longer to make a connection to see it. She frowned, then shook her head. It looked like she was going to be doing things the same way everyone else was. She knocked softly, wondering whether or not guy she was hosting knew why their rooms were connected. Would this seem weird?

"Umm...just wondering...who's room mine is connected to?"

DJ Woodstock

Woodstock snickered as one of the doors clicked, trying to be opened, with obvious failure. He took of his earphones to enjoy the show, which, to his disappointment, did not last very long. He shrugged, taking another swig of the hard liquor in hand, silently playing with the plush. But something was wrong. He froze. He felt like he was having a headache suddenly, but felt no pressure or pain. The feeling came in prods, as if someone was attempting to probe his mind or something. He flatly denied the prodding, simply think of the alcohol, taking another swig thereof.

Then, a voice called into the room, asking who was there. Woodstock stayed silent for a moment, before simply shrugging his shoulders, beat-boxing from his laying position. To anyone in the halls, or to the feminine voice that called out, it would seem like he had an entire rave going on in his room. Heavy bass beats intertwined with mystic melodies and rocking rhythms, while a layer of powdered awesome was sprinkled atop by his amazing voice box, which never once uttered a word, instead speaking in a language all of it's own: music. And his was the stuff that pleased everyone and thing. It was good. It was so good that he was rumored that he could send the Heavens themselves into a rave, and make the Underworld rock with happy thoughts. While he had never had the chance to test either, he knew that he was rumored so for a reason.

He sat up as he continued, playing out the scratching and mix board with empty hands, practicing the eargasmic tunes upon the air. He eventually fell silent, waiting to hear the reaction of the voice.

Usaki Namanei

Usaki snored in the back of a limo. then there was a honk and a loud voice. As well as a cold breeze. "Woow what!? What happened?!" She wiped her mouth as she felt the slobber. She gave a little fake laugh as she looked at the limo driver who was waiting for her to get out. The driver laughed at the girl,"Will you please get out girl." She gripped her stuffed dog. Anger crossing her face. She grabbed the drivers arm and threw him in the limo. He winced as she twisted his arm a bit hard. "Thanks for the ride sir!" She threw money on him as she shut the door to the limo. She had a bad dream and the limo driver was rude. Her anger issues were rising a bit much. She sighed as she grabbed her bags and stuffed her dog in one of the bags.

She rolled them to the resort. She ordered a limo as she was already on Earth on a mission already. She felt a terrible pain in her leg then in her heart. She screamed a little. As being a graveyard angel she felt the pain of a dying angel. Sometimes they weren't bad but at times when she was angry it would really hurt. She dropped her bags as she fell to her knees. Holding her heart. She took a few deep breathes and sat on her knees as she tried to recover. She sighed as she looked through her bag. She grabbed her pain killers and stood up. Grabbing her bags dragging them into the resort. The lady at the front desk asked her if she was ok while handing her keys. Usaki didn't answer just walked away to her room. She opened the door and without looking around closed the door and dropped her bags. Making a bit of a ruckus. She plopped on the bed as tears slowly rolled down her cheeks.

kamiya fujime

Well...this was certainly intriguing. A door, connected right to his. There was a knob - obviously, why wouldn't there be? - but Kamiya decided to ignore it for now. He'd go figure out who his hostee was later, once he got himself acquainted with his own room. It was a rather nice room, with a large canopy bed, simple furnishings that he could rearrange and plain walls that he could decorate.

As if he would want to do any of that. Placing his suitcase on the bed, he took out some of his clothes - a suit he brought for black tie events, several more yukatas in different colors and hung them up in the closet. Couldn't have them getting wrinkled, you know.

He made his way over to the large window, flicking the curtains aside with an expert twitch of his wrist.

Gazing down at the garden, the angel narrowed his eyes at all the vibrant colors. There was a rival here for most eye-catching garb, it appeared. But then again, it was a garden and he was an angel and well, he really didn't have to be jealous. "Hey Aiko," he murmured to his bird as he continued to survey the landscape. "You like the garden, don't you?"

His bird gave a nod of agreement, shifting her weight on his shoulder. Kamiya had to agree with her.

Some of the trees really were beautiful, he had to admit. He remembered little of his time as a human - it was quite a long time ago after all - but what he did remember was blurry and not very reliable.

No, he very much preferred his memories of being an angel and what he had done as an angel. Occupying the darker areas of humanity, Kamiya considered himself a sort of guardian angel. A sort of angel that protected those he found worthy from the rest of the scum on the earth. Bored with the view, Kamiya turned to the door. He approached it, knocking twice before opening it.

"Hello~" he called out, as Aiko swooped off his shoulder and landed in front of the girl. She let out a soft croon, peering at what the girl was sketching.

Mio Namaikina

"Huh...?" Mio glanced up and just about fell through the floor. The vain pink man of all people had come into her room. She put down her sketch of her room, and marched straight over to the man. "Okay, this is a private room. So, get out. You're lucky I don't report you for intruding, and... wait..." Mio stopped for a moment. The pieces were starting to click together. Winning a completely free trip to Akane, a near empty resort, strange doors leading to her room with no handles on her side, the letter... The letter! She had forgotten all about the letter. Eyeing the pink intruder suspiciously, she snatched the letter off the nightstand and started reading. The more Mio read, the more she frowned till finally she dropped the letter. Hosts!? Then that means....She slowly turned back towards the pink man. "You're... one of my hosts... arn't you?" she asked.

What had started off as a great getaway to draw and paint beautiful new pictures to her heart's content, was now a nightmare. She knew something was up. Right from the start, but she never expected this, and of all the hosts she could of possible gotten, one of them was... This guy? This was going to be a very long month.

Yukio Miaga

Yukio started dragging his suitcase along, getting very tired of it already. He didn't see the point behind taking something so useless, like a suitcase, by himself. He could have slept outside for all he cared. But no. He had to stay inside with his twin, and a bunch of humans and angels. He could not be bothered. Suddenly, Akio came and took his suitcase, but there wasn't really any point since Yukio was so near the door. "Hello Brother." Akio said, and Yukio walked into the room, following Akio. "What are you up to? Are you getting a disguise or something?" Yukio asked, stretching his arms out and lying back onto the bed. He immediately sat up when his twin took his scarf out. "Sure, borrow it. If you damage it, go back to Hell."

The boy scanned the room, trying to find something of interest and he eventually did. A door. There was a random door, but Yukio couldn't really be bothered to open it. Then again, he needed to see what was on the other side so he could tell whether he should barricade it or not. Standing up lazily, he looked at Akio. "Yeah, yeah, you look great. But... I look better and I'm not even trying yet." Yukio said in a totally bored voice, walking over to the door. "Hey, Akio. Who do you think we got, eh?"

He walked over to the door, laying his hand on the handle. Opening it slowly, he observed the people in front of him. One angel, one human. Yukio looked back at his brother. "Hey, Akio. Come." Yukio yawned, stretching his arms out. He really wanted to win. Then, he'd be able to finally sit back and relax!

Emerald Xiloscient

Emerald frowned, as the only reply she got was the music. She turned around, so that her back leaned against the door, thinking. Fortunately, that was one of her stronger points, having learned how so many others think through their minds. She closed her eyes, briefly making another attempt as looking through his mind, then pulled back quickly, seeing as all she got was more music...and a vague feeling of expextation; he was waiting for her to do something. She debated, thinking quickly, before she realized that she hadn't even gotten a hint of a thought about the hosts. she smiled a little, then turned her head sideways, to make it easier for him to hear her.

"Hace you heard anything about the host program thing going on here? I mean, you must have heard something about it, if your room is connected to mine." She ignored the music for now, or rather, making any comments on it. She could multi-task; she could listen to the music and keep her words straight, of that she was very confident. Though she probably should have kept a good deal of the focus on trying to get to whoever was behind the door.

"Look, I only want to talk, maybe explain why our rooms are connected, and why your room should have two rooms connected to it. Unless, of course, you already know about it?" she asked, though she doubted it. If he didn't show the respect to answer when someone was talking to him, even making an effort to get along with him, why would he take the time to read one of those letters?

Zaron Spade

Zaron saw a girl he stared at her he then realized he was being rude. "Who are you?" She said as she stood up. He smiled at the girl and walked in slowly. "Hello Miss." Zaron said with a small smile, which was all he could do since he didn't smile as much except when you make a good joke, he then shook her hand. "My name is Zaron Spade, and your name is?" Zaron then saw another door open. "And cue the demon" He thought to himself as he drew his hand back. Zaron then heard the demon say. "Hey, Akio. Come." He was always upset that he had to deal with demons and having to fight what he didn't really want to fight, but now he had to deal with two demons this was not good. "Double trouble." Zaron thought, as he sighed a little aggitated. "Let me know if those two give you trouble." He said as he headed back into his room shutting the door.

Roland Anthony

Roland's cab stopped in front of the hotel. He placed a bookmark into his book and looked out onto the hotel. "Seems like a nice place." He said quietly to himself. He pushed the cab door open, paid the driver and headed inside. He looked around the majestic hotel as he walked taking in the arcitecture and beauty of the area. This was going to be a great stay he decided. It had been rather odd for him to win a trip to this hotel in the first place. He had thought that it was just another fake advertisement in the mail but it proved legitamite.

He went up to the front counter and talked to the receptionist. "Hi, I'm Roland Anthony, I won some sort of vacation and I'm here to check in I suppose." The receptionist, Aiko, looked up with a smile seeming happy to be busy again. She pulled out an envelope and key and presented them to Roland. "Here is your room key and a letter from the manager explaining the situation. Please enjoy your stay." Roland accepted the key and envelope while Aiko turned back to her computer as if he had never been there.

He shrugged looked at his room number and found the directory. He easily found his way through the building and encounted his room. He unlocked the front door and pulled his luggage inside. He had definately brought way too many books but he wasn't too bothered. He closed the door to his room and began to set his books one by one onto the empty bookcase in his room taking no real notice of the extra doors and forgeting about the letter.

Akio Miaga

Akio stood up and looked into the mirror. "Sure, borrow it. If you damage it, go back to Hell." He smiled at his twin brother in the mirror, and then followed him to the door. There was a disgusting angel there, who once he saw Yukio and him, ducked back into his room.
"Such a fatal mistake." Akio whispered so that only his brother could hear, "the stupid angel leaves us alone with the woman, this will be easier than I thought." He chuckled lightly and then stood up straight. "This is our moment, enter center stage."
Akio knocked lihtly on the door frame before he entered the room. He bowed slightly to the woman and stood in her room. "Hello, I though I would introduce myself and my brother, we will both be your hosts along for the man who had poked his head in earlier." He pointed slightly to the angel's door and then smiled charmingly at the girl, "my name is Akio and this is my brother,"-he motioned to his twin in the doorway-"Yukio. We'll be here if you need us, anytime." He winked at the girl and turned back to his door, then stopped, and turned to her, "you know, I was going to go to the music room for a bit, would you like to come?"

Julian Le Mort

Julian sat in one of the libraries of the sprawling Le Mort family home. He smiled to himself; they called it a home but the demonic host owned something similar to their own town in the underworld. The library itself was one of the smaller rooms in the estate and the one where he had spent the majority of his time for the past few weeks. The library contained books that covered human history, emotions and everything a demon would be interested to find out about their lesser counterparts. Not that this would normally be the case but Julian had been given an important task to accomplish. His fervor for learning new information had taken him by storm when he had received his letter from the Akane Resort. He had read as much as he could on the subject of human interaction particularly concerning question of love.

"You'll be late little brother with your head so lost in the clouds." the wispy voice pulled him from his reverie. The owner of this voice was none other than his sister Darla who was leaning in the doorway, a grin playing upon her face. In her hands she held the files on the backgrounds of the other participants in the resort. "It would seem the majority have arrived to the resort, once we saw them we gathered what you needed. You'll get the rest once we have delved a little deeper.". She spoke matter of factly in her demonic tongue. The Le Mort clan seldom left anything to chance. It was imperitive that he succeeded, a failure of this nature would not be tolerated. Yet still Julian gave a wide smile as she handed him the bundle, it had never occurred to him that he could lose.

"Well I had better make an appearance then" he chuckled as he threw on a leather coat, a portal opening up behind him. With one last wave to his sister he stepped through into the human world, the resort standing in front of him. "Let the games begin." he said to himself as he walked in through the front doors quickly making his way to the reception to collect his key to his room. Julians eye drifted briefly to Eurydice. He gave her a small nod before making his way into his room, he would speak to his fellow players once he had settled in. It was plain, the room, with a big bed in the center and enough furnishings to hold his things. He would customise this later on. Julians thought pattern was interrupted by the sound of muffled voices, his head turned to the second door in his room. Were they coming from there?

Eurydice

Eurydice yawned, bored of waiting for something to happen in the lobby. More guests seemed to come and go; she chuckled as the receptionist treated each one in a similar manner. There were many unusual characters to say the least. Slowly Eurydice rose to smooth her skirt and returned to her room. She was terribly bored, and a bored demon of Lust was never a good idea.

As she passed by the extra door in her room, she noticed the faint sound of footsteps from the other side. Carefully, she peeked through. Seeing the boy, a dangerous smile spread across her lips. Silently she stepped into the room and closed the door behind her, surprised to see there was no knob on the human's side. She dismissed the thought quickly, knowing there was work to be done. With the mortal's back still turned toward her, she perched herself upon the bed and smiled to him. Her sterling blue eyes flashed with interested as she pushed aside her thick black curls.

The mortal seemed not to notice her. It would only take a moment, though, once he saw her. Eventually, anyone could succumb to Lust. "You enjoy reading?" she said coyly, twisting her midnight locks around a pail finger, watching Roland carefully. She did not bother to introduce herself. That would spoil the mystery.

Usaki Namanei

Usaki stopped crying as her pain started to go away. She wiped away the tears, washed her face and brushed her hair. She redid the pony tails in the front letting her other hair reach to her knees. She sighed as she heard a ruckus. That was my mortal huh. I hope hes good looking. Usaki laughed to herself. Then she heard another girl. The demon. Usaki plastered anger on her face. She straightened her dress and walked over to the boys door and knocked lightly. She straightened her dress and in a soft voice she spoke.

"Hello, I was wondering if we could introduce our selves? You know since we will be here for a month together." Her voice was sweet, loud and had a hint of cuteness to it. She knew the boy was listening to music. She could hear it. That's why here voice was quite loud. She smiled hoping he would invite her in. She didn't want to be rude and barge in. And from what the demon sounded like, the door was blocked. This could be a good chance to win him over.

kamiya fujime

"You're... one of my hosts... arn't you?"

Kamiya let out a soft laugh, as he made his way fully into her room. She seemed incredulous, and a tad insulted that he would just so openly enter her room. But then again, Kamiya had never really been one to watch boundaries. Boundaries were almost a foreign idea to him. What really struck him though was the horrified way she seemed to look at him, at the disappointed tone and the shell shocked way her body seemed to react to the idea that he was going to be the one she was going to have to come into direct contact with for a month.

Well, he really wouldn't have it any other way.

Kamiya was getting bored of the women that fell so easily for his charm. It wasn't very often that he met someone who could resist his natural angel charisma and practically hated him just by looking at him.

"Yes, I am one of your hosts," he replied calmly, suddenly feeling a chill come over him. He glanced over at the other door. That must be the door that led to the demon's lair. He resisted the urge to break the knob. Although...that could prevent the demon from entering this room on his own free will....Ah. His thoughts were drifting.

He couldn't have that. He had to focus on the matter at hand. This human...she intrigued him already. He was, after all, supposed to make her fall in love with him. If she already hated him...all he had to do was figure out what she liked, right?

Aiko hopped closer to the girl, letting out another soft call. The bird nudged the girl's hand, asking to be petted.

Mizu Touya

"My name is Zaron Spade, and your name is?" Zaron said as he shook her hand.
".... Nice to meet you Zaron, my name is Mizu Touya." Mizu said. She then heard another door open and looked over towards the other extra door. This time, there were two people looking in- one with red hair, and the other with blue hair. Great.... more company... she thought as she wondered when all this would be over and she would finally be able to relax.
Wait.... what if this goes on the whole time I'm here?! she thought.
"Let me know if those two give you trouble." Zaron said as he went back into his room.

Mizu looked over at Zaron and watched as he went back into his room. What was with him? He just all of a sudden left when the other two guys came in... She then looked back over at the other two guys, they looked like twins, and they probably were considering they shared a room.
"Hello, I though I would introduce myself and my brother, we will both be your hosts along for the man who had poked his head in earlier. My name is Akio and this is my brother, Yukio. We'll be here if you need us, anytime." the boy with the red hair said. Ohhhhhhhh so their the hosts..... Wait, it's unfair that they have doors to my room but I can't do anything to stop them! Mizu thought. This is going to be a long trip...
The red haired boy, who's name was Akio then started to head back into his room but then paused and looked back at her. "You know, I was going to go to the music room for a bit, would you like to come?"
"There's a music room here?" Mizu said as she blinked. Should I go...? Mizu thought. Well... I guess it wouldn't hurt.... "Sure, I'll go." she said.

Julian Le Mort

A smile crept up on Julian as he felt the holy prescence in the next room. So his competition had already met the human? Maybe I should have left eariler he though coyly to himself. Yet the challenge only provided to increase his interest of his dueling partner for love! He had never met an angel before, only the theory of them that was encased in his books. It would be such an oppertunity to meet not one but four of them. Julian's mind was racing with the prospects that he almost forgot about the human altogether. Truthfully she didn't really interest him as much as the angel but he did have a duty to his family to complete. His eyes slid over to the bundle of files on his bed, caution would dictate that he read up on his opponent before meeting him. Though Julian Le Mort had never been known for his caution.

Before attempting to enter the next door room Julian threw a glance into the mirror on his wall; his long black hair was loosely tied in a plait, wisps of shorter hair at the front falling onto his pale face. He had discarded his leather jacket across the bed leaving him with a loose white shirt and black jeans. A small pendant was tied to his neck and three rings holding the family signals were upon his left hand. Peering at himself with his dark eyes Julian gave a small smile, he looked sufficent.

Knocking on the door to his human's room he opened the door slowly, humans were easily frighted creatures- a fact he had learned from his readings- and he would not want to scare the girl. "Welcome to Akane Resort!" he said to Mio with a beaming smile plastered on to his face. "I was wondering if it would be okay to come in to introduce myself?" he asked, his feet clearly still within his own room. His eyes glanced at Kamiya briefly before returning to Mio, his delight to be here was clearly etched upon his face.

Mio Namaikina

Mio had barely reacted to Pinky being in her room when yet another intruder had infiltrated her room. At least this one wasn't pink, but she wasn't really sure if she liked him any better. He was tall. Very tall. He had dark long hair and was actually quite handsome. The other one was handsome as well, but in a gaudy way. As she eyed the dark man three words popped in her head. Arrogant, competitive, and fake. Yeesh. By his "welcoming" introduction she could tell Julian had some sort of hidden agenda under that sickenly sweet mask he called a smile. Mio could tell this was definitely going to be one hell of a month if these two were her hosts.

Mio glanced down as the bird nudged her hand. She smiled sweetly at it and picked the bird up int her arm. While petting the bird she said, "Well, since you had the 'courtesy' to introduce yourself, Julian. My name is Mio Namaikina." She turned towards Kamiya. "I think I heard you earlier call the bird Aiko?" Aiko nudged her upon the mentioning of her name. "Well then. I don't really know what the point of these 'hosts' is, and to be honest, I don't care. So, if you'll refrain from entering my room from now on, that would be great." she said rudely in a polite sort of way.

She grabbed her sketchbook and pencils and made her way outside still holding Aiko. She wasn't really paying attention whether or not her hosts followed her. The pink one was more likely to follow since she kinda stole his bird. She quietly whispered to Aiko, "Those two are real pieces of work, huh? Hey, wanna pose for me so I can draw you?"
