Introduction
In the world of Ferya there are people of all sorts. There are demons and angels, dwarves, elves, and of course humans. The world is modern with cell phones and high tech cameras and tape recorders. There is no avoiding the development of new things. Buildings are being built from sheet rock and steel beams. Cares zoom down interstates and planes fly through the large fluffy clouds. Mostly only humans inhabit the busy cities, as the other races prefer to stick to "the old times." There are still many parts of the beautiful world with cottages and farms.
In the small town of Mirrim sits a large mansion. The building is three stories high with a bell tower at the very top. it is said that part of the mansion was once a church. Legend says that the mansion was built by some of the first settlers of the town, but that they had passed away due to a famine and now haunt the many halls. The building went many years without an owner, but it has recently been bought by a wealthy family, who plan to put it to good use.
The Saiforro family has purchased the mansion and worked on it for about a year to make it suitable to live in. Every room has been furnished and it is the family's hope that people will move in soon. Anyone who moves into the mansion will be well taken care of. There will be food on the dinner table for every meal, bedding will be washed, floors swept, rooms cleaned, and constant medical care available. The mansion is open to anyone whom may need it, but it is mostly intended for those with some form of mental or physical illness.
On the first floor of the mansion sets a ballroom, office, dining room, kitchen, five bedrooms with connecting bathrooms, infirmary and several storage closets. The second floor is made up completely of bedrooms, each with their own bathroom and balcony. The third floor, which contains the bell tower, is strictly off-limits. No except the Saiforro family may enter this floor, and it is always guarded.
Barlo Mansion is open to beings of any race or species.

The setting changes from A mansion for the ill in the land of Ferya to The bedrooms
As he sped through the endless corridors, he managed to evade his pursuer, Alice, and the rumbling continued to grow louder and louder until he eventually came upon the block of the mansion dedicated to bedrooms. To him, it was as if fate was driving him toward something. Jordyn considered turning back - he thought long and hard about it, but nothing. There was a build-up of a fine, granulated powder-like substance growing from under his rings and it began to leak out onto the ground. Upon closer inspection, the truth was there. Sand.
Screeching. Loud and obnoxious. Like a bird. Jordyn heard it but he didn't believe it to be of the reality but something of his own warped imaginations. This seemed to be a gateway for something worse though. The screeching came louder and faster while the entire mansion began rumbling and shaking about him. Potted plants were toppling to the ground and dust fell from the ceiling as the strength of its support beams and such were put to the test. "An earthquake ?"
In the distance loomed the shadow of..something. From what he could tell, the shadow was as tall as a man but had a beak and some sort of weapon in hand. "No. Not an earthquake. Not today." He pressed himself to the wall and moved along it till he felt a door handle; he turned it then, and slipped inside.
There was a girl sleeping. A bag nearby. /Great./ Exactly what he wanted.
(For simplicity, the scenes/sounds/etc in Italics comprises what Jordyn hallucinates. I may miss out on highlighting them at some point - there, you would have to use your discretion and actually, actually, read my post. *Gasp*)
Tsukasa's sharp ears picked up the sound of her door being opened, and then closed. Her eyes shot open. She laid still in her bed for a moment before jumping up and grabbing a lamp off of the night stand. She held it like a bat, in a defensive position. She tried to hold it at an angle that would also cover the scars on her mouth, though she want sure how successful that was.
"Who are you!? What do you want!?" She barked.
He considers birds to be a part of nature, and as an extension, believes them to be independent of a more sapient beingโs habits. Even then, their activities are strange. Damakos considers this as another clue in his personal mystery. That little birdโs ruckus isn't even the tip of the iceberg.
He hears the rumbling of footsteps along the creaking wooden floor grow louder, indicating an increase in intensity and proximity to his own. The sounds are getting closer to him. Another person is getting closer to him. Everything from before pales in comparison to the unprecedented arrival of a hysterical Jordyn .
Damakos stands against the wall with widened eyes and his throwing knife held defensively at the unintelligible actions of this human clinging to Tsukasaโs door for dear life. โAn Earthquake?โ he parrots, cocking a single brow while yet refusing to lower his guard in the presence of a maniac. His fear obstructs his attention from the leaking sand trail.
Within the next moment, he mysteriously slips inside of Tsukasaโs room. Damakos remains outside, dumbfounded.
With a light flap of her wings she was off. The Kestrel flew around the mansions several times, and soon, it came across and open window. It flew through then glided down the hallway. The little bird spotted Damakos, the only other person currently in the halls, and landed on his arm.
The bird stared at him with large round eyes, a small cut on it's belly was bleeding quite a bit.
A stranger came and went at some point in the hallway--Alice turned to look but was too late to see who the figure was. She shrugged, though strange noises were coming from the rooms around the corner. She wanted to get up to see if Jordyn was okay, or if Lark had finally returned, or if the person Lark had mentioned--what was his name again? She had already forgotten--could give her some new clothes..
Then again, she didn't want to get up and startle the bird. And so she lay rested, continuing to stroke its beautiful feathers, unsure as she had always seemed to be here.
The infirmary was just down the hall, and the bird seemed to know it!

"What is it?" she asked. She looked around. She must have appeared to be crazy, talking to a hopping bird. "What can I do?" She stood up and leaned over it, her locks falling to the ground and patting its soft head.

After about a minute of hopping and stopping for breaks they reached the infirmary. The door was cracked open just a bit so the bird looked up at Alice, then simply let himself into the room. He stood still and gazed all around before spotting Tarik, who was filling out some paperwork at his desk in the far right-hand corner.
Hearing the light clicking of the bird's talons, Tarik turned in his swivel chair. He raised an eyebrow at the bird, then noticed Alice. "My, your clothes are wet young woman, come right in an I will get you some dry ones. is this your bird?" He asked as he gestured to the animal on the floor.
Tarik stood and hurried over to a closet that was full of supplies.

"No," she responded to him, but looked down at the bird. She wished he/she/it would have received the attention first, looking in so much pain. "And I'm fine...I would like some clothes but--don't you see this bird is some pain?" She didn't know why she was defending it but she was. "Can you do something?"

"No," she responded to him, but looked down at the bird. She wished he/she/it would have received the attention first, looking in so much pain. "And I'm fine...I would like some clothes but--don't you see this bird is some pain?" She didn't know why she was defending it but she was. "Can you do something?"
The Bird did the same. It tilted it's head and watched tarik back. They seemed to be staring deep into each other's eyes.
Tarik's own feathers ruffled a bit. "Well, yes, I believe I can..." he then very gently lifted the bird and set it on one of the examination tables. He placed his hand on it's belly and pressed his fingers inward a bit, seeing if the bird was bloated. Nope. He then checked it's wings, which were fine. As he studied the bird it grew woozier. It wobbled to the side a bit, then almost fell over. Tarik caught it, but then it happened again and the bird fell towards the floor.
Before it hit, there was a poof! And there was no more bird. Instead, lying on the floor, was an underweight male. he was clothed in a black turtle neck and a pair of jeans. His feet were bare and a pair of large black wings remained. His hair was short and spiky with a long colorful string of fabric tied into it on the side. Tufts of orange hair stuck out of the end of the fabric, and there were also some blue feathers tied into it.
"GAH!" Tarik exclaimed. "What!?" He leaned over and very gently turned the boy over. He then pulled up one of his sleeves. "Just as I suspected..."
There, on the boy's wrist was a black tattoo in the shape of a bird's foot. "Hes one of the mansion's guards..." Tarik explained as he lifted him up and laid him on one of the beds. "I have never met any of them, but Sir and Lady Saiforro informed me how to identify them..." He then pointed to the tattoo.
"He is very thin though..." He watched the boy with a worried look on his face.
And of course, the boy was unconscious.
Tarik Sighed, "I believe this is the head guard too... I just get that... feeling..." he walked back over to the supply closet and grabbed some clothes. He gave them to Alice before returning to the patient. "Theres a private bathroom," he said as he pointed to the door next to his desk. "You may change in there if you would like."
Tarik then began his examination. He checked the young man's arms and legs for injuries, eyes for illness, and then throat for redness. "Okay..." he went to his desk and picked up a clipboard, then put a piece of paper on it and began scribbling away as he walked back over to the bed. Tarik used a stethoscope to check the male's lungs. "....."
"It appears as though he has a rather severe case of pneumonia..." He told Alice.
He walked over to one of the other supplies cabinet and grabbed some oxygen equipment. Tarik then returned to his patient's side and gently stapped a mouth and nose oxygen mask around his face. he then connected the tube to a tank and made sure that it was turned on and working correctly, "there, that should ease some of the chest pain..."
After, he dragged an IV poll over to the side of the bed and very carefully set some IV needles into the young man's wrist and taped them so that they would be secure.
"There, all we can do now is watch and wait..." He said as he walked back over to his desk and sat down, where he continued to file some paper work.

The creature opened its mouth to speak but lips and face contorted and twisted outwards, forming a beak. "SQUA-YOU-AK?!" It was the only intelligible part he was able to make out. He stood there, his heart pounding in his chest and pupils becoming dilated - if he didn't act quickly then the beast might've found reason to use its weapon.
As he approached the final stage of his madness, the self-proclaimed "Phase Three", more sand began to spill from his rings and onto the floor, an entirely disproportionate amount. Jordyn slowly lifted his hand then, palm facing upward and fingers curled inward, allowing the substance to gather in the palm of his hand.
This was him,
This was who he was..
and this was the reason he was at Barlo Mansion.
There was a window between her and the door. She could go out that. Perfect....
She made her way over to the window and unlocked it, while still facing Jordyn. After, she pushed it open. With a quick movement she turned around and leaped out the window in one smooth movement. Tsukasa ran. She ran outback and into the garden where she climbed up and apple tree and hid amoungst the branches.
(Exit to Garden)
The setting changes from The bedrooms to The Garden
Normally, Tsukasa would have attacked such a person, but, well, since she had come to the mansion she had started to feel pretty powerless and vulnerable compared to some of the other guests that were living there. She watched through the branches as several sparrows flew through the dark sky, catching night bugs to eat.

A few moments later Marie finished her dinner and decided to explore this building by herself, though it felt very strange to her, she usually never leaves her brothers side and the most they are ever apart are in their own home. Well I shouldn't worry about him, this is our home now and nothing will happen to him here. She thought to herself, then second guessing herself after thinking of all the other people that will call this place home. She brushed the thought aside and went out into the halls to explore, strangely getting colder as she went on. Is it cold in here or..? with that thought she stopped and noticed how bad she was shivering. "C-cold..." Marie mumbled to herself. "Too c-cold..." Her body was reacting to the temperature like an amphibians, keeping the same as the environments. Marie slowly lowered herself to the ground and lay there, slowly falling asleep.
((I apologize if I did get any information wrong on the Amphibians.))

A large white bird, that resembled an eagle, had laid down next to her and wrapped one of it's large wings over her shoulder. The bird itself was quite large, almost as big as the black one in the infirmary. But her feathers were white and her eyes were a beautiful amber. She let out a light coo-type sound and closed her eyes.
The setting changes from A mansion for the ill in the land of Ferya to Front Entrance
He paused with his right hand ready to knock, breathing out a sigh and collecting himself, before returning to motion and striking the door. "Hello, I hope I am not too late today?" He called out tentatively. Doubt suddenly piercing him as he waited. Maybe he had heard wrong, maybe they had not reopened the place. Would an intimidating man servant appear to usher him on? Would they just laugh at his request?
The double doors of the mansion were not locked. But no one was around to let Tonerre inside.
The swallows that were flying around catching bugs spotted the young man, and flew right on over. One landed on the ground in front of him, and the other on his shoulder. They chirped softly. The swallow on the ground hopped over to the door and pecked on it, then looked up at Tonerre, to let him know that it was okay to go inside on his own.
"I'm coming inside. Hope nobody minds!" He called out cheerily as he swung open the door and looked around, unsure of which way to go. He shrugged and picked a direction at random, wandering off.
