Carnes High

Kiera steps away from Lin, and shadows instantly swarm around Lin. Kiera nods at the shadows and says, "They will protect you if anyone attacks. Just don't expect them to be gentle when they need you to move." Then she views the spell that Lin had created and says, "Your gonna have to teach me what this soul power is some other time." With those words she turns and comes up behind the hunter that was attacking Kalen, hitting them behind the knees and with a well aimed kick, knocks the hunter out. As soon as the hunter hits the ground the shadows swarm over him and finish killing him off. Then she turns to Shad and sneers, "Seems like I'm saving a lot of you today..." Kiera sends a pack of shadows that cover the stake, breaking the mans hand.

"I... can't... move..." Shad growls through closed teeth the stake was still in his gut and the arrow was still in his arm. He wasn't greatful Kiera had saved him, mostly because she still was leaving him on the ground defenceless, he wouldn't be suprised if the she-demon messed with him while he couldn't fight back. Lying down had stopped his beastly rage and calmed him so he wasn't going to be too much of a fighter after this anyways. He'd be collected and controled but what fun was there in fighting using actual strategy when he could just devour his nearest enemies.

Amber decided against sitting in the classroom, choosing instead to find some isolated part of the building. She wasn't sure how many of the monsters in this place would actually listen to what...what was his name? She still hadn't gotten that much...or didn't remember that much, anyway. but if they didn't agree with what he had said about her not being a hunter; she didn't even know they had existed before coming to this school, let alone anything about the hunters. She paused when she noticed she was hearing something...but it didn't quite sound normal for a school. ...But who knew what was normal in this school? Still, she moved closer to investigate, but pulled back when she realized there was a fight going on. She peeked back out, trying to see who was out there. The one that had pulled the vampire away...the vampire...the one that had talked about getting rid of humans...the one that was actually nice to her and was her roommate...the girl from the room she had been called to earlier...and then others she didn't know. So what was she supposed to do? She certainly couldn't fight...so that left her with watching, and hoping nothing went too wrong. Though, if she saw a way she might help, she debated jumping in.

Arabella squealed when the holy water landed on her and that broke her concentration. What surprised her was the fact that the water did not sizzle like it did on Lin. Arabella ran and cast a quick spell over Kalen to thank her for saving her life, keeping an eye on Jaime the entire time. He was regaining his strenght. Realizing the human was not in any danger from the human attackers, Arabela left him and moved to the injured vampire, Shad, to help him. She pulled the arrow and stake out gently and whispered a spell over it to help heal. She stood up and looked around at the chaos. She had been so caught up in saving the human (humans got her in trouble... again) that she wasn't sure what was going on. Sick of the amount of bolts flying through the air and the sound of her classmates being hurt, Arabella took in a deep breath. She held it for a few seconds and finally screamed at the top of her lungs.

She felt the burst of raw energy burst through her and a few nearby hunters fell to the ground. The wave only extended around her five feet because of her lack of powers. Listening to Delios's orders, she took Jaime around the corner and into the school where she stumbled in the doorway. She took only a few steps in when the usage of her spells finally caught up with her and caused her to faint. She didn't care about the battle just feet from her, she was in a world full of blackness.

Lin felt a slight burn at the honey witches soul power..it had been strong enough to kill a few hunters nearby but it failed to effect all living forms- like the supernatural but Lin accepted the fact she wasnt from a dark covern into the equation still...
"Amatuer" she muttered under her breath as the honey haired witch collapsed just in the doorway like some macarquin doll. Checking her surroundings she flicked her wrist softly in the humans and witch's direction sending them sliding several foot more into the hallway and out of the fights way.
She'd never thought of using the soul power in a ball motion- it came out like a wave with her.
Stroking the shadows anxious to escape a place she couldnt be effective in without harming her allies she looked for a space in which she could help.

As soon as Deilos kicked the chopped up corpses away from the door way he saw Arabella and the human student rolled past in front of him, he mouth cracked up and laughed, he found the sight to be pretty funny, but that only lasted for a short second before he looked around the school gates from the door, and the human scent is getting fainter as the wind blows. Walking a few feet away from the door way which Arabella and Jamie rolled into, he scanned the bloody area, still extremely cautions of his surroundings, he spoke up "is that all of them?"

Shad gets up slowly but heals quickly, he was allready feeling weaker, constantly healing was wasting the fresh blood he had just drunk. He nods at Arabella in thanks but ignores her help for the most part. He gets up and stretches his arm a bit it still felt sore from the wooden arrow. "I don't think there are any more, If there are, I want the last one. I'm allready thirsty again..." He groans replying to Delios. His fangs are out and showing the blood around them was making him thirstier but he wasnt going to go licking the floor for a quick drink.

Kiera watches the rest of the battle, her eyes obseving everyones every move. When all the hunters appear to be dead she sends the shadows to scan the area, finds that all the human hunters had been killed. She turns to Shad and points to the hunter whose neck she snapped. "If your hungry I'm sure you can find some scraps of blood in him. He doesn't have a cut anywhere so he didnt loose any blood."

Amber hesitated as the other human and her roommate were puhed towards her by...who knew what. She poked her head back out, watching them. It looked like it was about done. She closed her eyes to try to listen more carefully, to hear what they were talking about. She shook her head, opening her eyes again; she was too busy to really hear properly. She was glancing around, too, to see if there was anyone else there that might be a hunter. ...Not that she knew what to look for. She only knew he hadn't even gotten through her first day without problems. Though only one of them had concerned her directly. She wondered briefly why she hadn't seen the fangs before; but then, why hadn't she seen the others the way they had been? Clearly she had a lot to learn about these creatures. Maybe she'd be able to get along with them better if she knew more. She turned to the two that had been flung in her direction, checking to make sure they were okay.

"Fine... It's probably cold allready." Shad complains walking over to the cooling body. He drains the body in seconds, it was cold and sour allready but there wasn't another source other than the 'good' humans. His fangs shrunk and he folded his wings up, "So? do we have to clean up the bodies or do we leave them for lesser demons to eat." he yawns lightly kicking the pale drained body with his foot.

Jaimie was slowly regaining the abbility to move and figure out what was going on. He sat up on his own and was looking around and finds a girl standing near him. he then realizes that there are corpses all over the place and the other students were definately not human. Remembering what had happened he stands up suprisingly fast for having so little blood, "Hey! You're a vampire! And you're a demon! And you're... An angel?" he refers to Shad Delios and Arabella going off of what he did see, he had missed the others' attacks. "What's going on why are there bodies every where?" he flys to the next topic quickly his heart rushing and his head dizzy.

Lin raised an eyebrow at the human as he began to reel off confused accusations about them. There was plenty of others in the highschool that would delight in eating corpses there wasnt really any reason to move them, they'd be devoured before they even had a chance to rot.
Looking to Kiera she smiled. "That was some handy reflects Kiera" Lin praised.

Arabella's eyes had fluttered open when Amber came over to make sure that she was okay. She caught the very end of Jaime's rant before sitting up. She laughed for the first time in years. "An angel?" She gestured to her torn jeans and converse. "I don't think this is really angel attire." She relaxed back on the heels of her hand as she glanced around at all of the bodies, making sure none of them were friendly. She was tired of fixing Shad because of his ungratefulness so he could wait. She stood up, not wanting to be grouped with the humans and walked into the field.

Jaimie had taken an interest in Arabella because she had helped him and it seemed like everyone else was a monster of somesort. "Well the vampire is wearing normal clothing and looks human but he has hidden wings too so you could be hiding your angel wings too. But if you aren't an angel what are you?" He responds to her comments. She hoped she wasn't another monster, he was sure she was something better than the others, but then again he didn't even know what the others were and since when did all of these things exist.

"She's a witch- we're all monsters- you wont find any angels here" Lin taunted leaning against the door frame amused how he thought arabella was an angel, as if anything holy resided here.
Her golden, feline eyes reaccessed him. Reddish hair, slim, slight muscular build, an athelete no doubt with a babyface and then the human girl standing just behind him. Her curiosity crept inside her like an untamed beast. They appeared quite charming on the eyes for immortals yet they were so flimsy- like paper impersonating card board. Her dark mind weaved little webs around them both as she allowed a small alluring smile to pass over her lips. "Welcome to Carnes high" she murmured.

Kiera nods at Lin's compliment, and says, "Well this school cant be all filled with weaklings... And I can't have a friend who cant defend herself properly. So get ready to be trained." Then she hears the human boy and she rolls her eyes when he calls Arabella an angel. "If she's an angel then I'm a human. And I'm definetly not one of you. I suggest you start learning the races before one of them snaps your puny little neck."

Arabella stood up and brushed her jeans off, attempting to get rid of the blood. She was unsure how the blood had gotten there and decided it was probably Jaime's. Her purple tank top and a rip in the side. Frowning at how her favorite shirt was ripped, she began patting her back.
"Nope. No angel wings." She smiled at Jaime again. It felt good to smile. She listened to Kiera talk to Lin. "Do you mind if I train with you guys? If not could I watch?" She looked at the bodies laying around the yard. "I feel so weak at this school."

Jaimie was so confused, everybody was telling him they were monsters and they all seemed to hate him, yet they were welcoming him. It might of been the bloodloss but everything seemed to be in a mist and everyone was talking much faster than he expected. "I feel dizzy." He begins to sway a bit and falls back again fast asleep. "hmmm I think you just gave the human a heart attack." Shad chuckles nearby.

"but first before we go back to lessons" Deilos interrupted as he watches Jamie fall to the ground "all those who got injured should go see the school nurse" he added looking and pointing to shad, jamie and a few others that got slightly bruised here and there. The next thing Deilos did was dragging Jamie across the hallways with multiple turns, ignoring Jamie's complains, before stopping at a door. When Deilos spoke out in a louder tone, "I'm coming in with the human student... and a few others" knocking on the door and a female voice came out of the other side "come on in" Deilos opened the door and looks at the school nurse who is too a demon but her abilities is very different from most demons, her flames contains healing properties.

Her eyes looked at Deilos, jamie shad and the others that followed him to the nurses office, her small red horns barely peeking out of her hair and wearing a one piece red dress that ends at around her ankles, her red eyes examined the group, after which a warm smiles suddenly appeared on her face "this way students" she says as she pointed to a room at the end of the nurses office.

Deilos continued to drag Jamie across the room just like before and when they finally reached the room, he happily threw jamie onto the white bed as he sat down on a chair next to the bed, looking at Jamie and extending his arm over the backing of the chair, "what do you want to know about this school" he bluntly question the human boy, he will probably have too much to ask right now, after seeing what just happened.

The school nurse started to examine the other before looking at Jamie.

Shad left almost instanty, insisting he didn't need any help, his regenerative powers had worked just fine and he was allready fully healed. He leaves to go back to the dorms, he really didnt care about classes and all this action in the daytime hours made him tired. He slumps on his bed and falls asleep taking not that only two other people's stuff were in his room so far, maybe he'd get lucky and have only 2 room mates.

Jaime looks at Delios dizzily hearing his question, he was being very blunt about it, "Is everyone a monster?" he mumbles just barely finding the energy to speak. but he manages to sit up and hold a conversation with full capability of hearing what Delios was saying.

Amber watched those that were injured heading to the nurses office, and shrugged. She hadn't gotten into the fight, and so hadn't managed to get herself hurt. But she probably still had to attend her classes for the day. While she didn't feel like it, she would have to go to the classes, anyway. She needed the good grades to show her parents. They could be strict. With a sigh, she tries again to navigate through the halls to the rest of her classes.

Starlet Cariana paused outside the gates of the school. The now rising moon was making her silvery hair glitter like the stars. She had paused to adjust her outfit so that she looked her very best for her first night on campus. She was representing her clan after all. She began walking towards the building when she noticed a few bodies scattered about the ground with weapons lying not too far from them. A closer loook revealed them to be human.
Shrugging her shoulders, Starlet entered the school. She noticed a group of three girls standing close to the doorway and passed them. Her high-heeled boots clicked against the marble floor. She saw what looked like an office and entered it. She walked to the front desk and smiled at the woman behind it.
"Hello," Starlet said in a seductive voice.
"Hello, may I help you?" The woman asked, never taking her eyes off of the paperwork. Starlet frowned, not used to people not looking at her.
"Yes, I'm Starlet Carina," She paused, waiting for some aknowledgement from the woman, but received none so she continued. "I'm the new demon." The woman nodded and looked through her paperwork.
"Ah yes, the white demon." Starlet expected more interest in the woman's voice, but it never came. "Here's your schedule and a map of the school. Classes will resume tomorrow." Starlet nodded, annoyed by the woman's ignorance.
She began to walk gracefully towards the courtyard when she passed the nurse's office. After passing it once, she stopped quickly. Her long body made a 180 degree turn and she took a few strides to peak in at the nurse's office. What she saw surprised her, so she stepped further in.
"Is that a human?" She asked, her voice losing its normal alluring tone and curiosity filled its place. Her red eyes were wide with wonder as she saw another demon not too far from him. They seemed almost.. friendly.

"Yes, most of them are monsters, Devils, demons, vampires, drows, elves, werewolves, nagas... and many more, do you want me to list them all out on a list for you?" Deilos answered Jamie question, then he added "You know about the witches, their similar to Arabella and Lin, they WERE humans or should I say once humans, but I personally look at them as humans, they look like them and act like them most of the time, But witches are humans with supernatural powers, if you know what i mean, like what do you humans call them..." he paused for a while, "wizards"

After a while for letting the information sink into Jamie's head, a white demon peaked through the opened window behind Jamie, "Is that a human?" came a curious voice, Deilos turned to look at the master of the curious voice, "yea" was all the answer he gave her, looking at her face, she seemed rather surprised, Deilos just gave her a questionable look.

"Oh!" Jaimie nods feeling better, a pale girl with white hair and red eyes pops by the room questioning his humanity. He watches her closely, like everyone else here she looks human as well. "Am I the only human here? Everyone is so suprised by me." He didn't want to be the only human, it couldn't be possible that the school was full of monsters he didn't want to believe it. Why would he be here if it's just monsters it's dangerous to be around monsters like this he saw what they had done to those hunters, and that Vampire had allready attacked him thinking he was a hunter as well.

Kiera had settled into a corner, to watch who had been injured and who had not. She turns to to Arabella, "If you can keep up. I don't deal with weaklings, it's like I have an alergy to them." She nods towards the human, crinkling her nose, "Exhibit one."

Kiera looks over the new demon with a critical look. She imediatly notices the friendly look towards the human and groans, "Please tell me you dont like humans."

Arabella smiles at Kiera and starts thinking of powerful spells. She realized that she only knew healing spells so she was going to try and copy Lin. She wasn't sure how well that would work.

"I'll try my hardest," She told her.
