Introduction
The Fourth Shinobi World War ended in a victory for the side of the Allied Shinobi Forces, but at the cost of hundreds of thousands of lives and the futures of the Five Kage, who were forced to retire after the severe damage sustained from their battle against Madara Uchiha. After the war, temporary Kage were elected and a summit was held to discuss the spoils of war, a discussion that went smoothly mainly because of the sense of unity and understanding amongst all of the shinobi. By the end of the discussions, the Seven Swords of the Mist were returned to Kirigakure, the Sage's Five Treasured Tools were returned to Kumo, and a large amount of manpower from all villages was expended to help rebuild the destroyed village of Konoha. The world was put on a path of recovery, and though the progress was slow, everyone seemed to recover just in time for the Tailed Beasts to return to the land in their natural, destructive form. The Ichibi, Shukaku, was the first to appear, stirring in the deserts of the Land of Wind and destroying a small village miles away from Suna. The next was the Nibi, spotted inhabiting the mountainous terrain of the Land of Lightning. The Sanbi and Rokubi appeared in the Land of Water, and the Yonbi and Gobi appeared in the Land of Earth. The Nanabi made its appearance in the Land of Wind, and the Hachibi and Kyuubi were passed on to their next inheritors from the Hidden Cloud and the Hidden Leaf respectively. The villages went on the hunt again, capturing and sealing as many beasts as they could to create a new generation of human weapons.

- Your character may be a Kage, a Jounin, a Chunin, a Gennin, or an Academy Student from any of the Five Shinobi Villages (Konoha, Suna, Kiri, Iwa, Kumo), or a Samurai from the Land of Iron, or whatever you want to make, as long as it’s reasonable and within the realm of the Naruto series.
- Clans that were once extinct have started to grow again. To explain, think of it like survivors finally have come out of hiding after seeing the unity and acceptance between villages. - The Akatsuki are back! Headed by a mysterious figure, the Akatsuki truly are back, but with a different goal in mind. Its mysterious leader has yet to reveal any of the organizations plans to even the organization itself, but their current mission is clear: to create as much chaos and disarray as possible. Weaken the villages, break the bond, and hit them where it hurts.
- Techniques like Black Lightning and Dust Release remain exclusive to those who first claim it. (In the case of Dust Release, the Tsuchikage will be allowed to decide who the Kekkei Tota is passed on to. The first character to claim Black Lightning will be permitted to pass on Black Lightning to other characters.)
- The Sharingan will be granted to all, but with limitations. Mangekyou will be granted to some (3 max), and Eternal will be granted to a limited number of people (2 max). In this RP, the Eternal will not become a Rinnegan, and it will only grant the user the ability to use their sharingan without going permanently blind in addition to a slight boost in power. If you do not want to have an Amaterasu/Tsukuyomi/Susanoo combo, you are free to create one yourself as long as you describe what the techniques do in your profile.
- The Rinnegan will not be given to anyone until further notice.
- Cursed Seals may be permitted, but with a valid explanation as to how your character acquired one. (If someone wants to create an Orochimaru-like character (ie. Some mad scientist) then that could be an explanation, but otherwise, be creative.)
- Though you’re allowed to create a character related to a canon, I would like originality when you create. I don’t want 50 Naruto-clones running around spamming Shadow Clone and Rasenganing everything.
- As far as sages are concerned, you are allowed to create a sage of whatever animal you desire as long as you adhere to the rules of being a sage and entering sage mode. (Being still if you aren't a member of Jugo's clan, etc.) Also, you can’t be a 3 year old sage. Be reasonable with the age.

Rinji woke up before dawn came to the village, he was far too excited to sleep. After many years of trying, he had finally graduated the ninja academy and today he would finally be assigned to a squad. As he rolled over in bed he looked at the forehead guard he had received. He turned it over and over again in his hands, closely examining the fruits of his labor. It hadn’t left his hand the whole night. He tried to close his eyes, he didn’t have to be at the academy for hours. Still he could not sleep. Then he heard the noises of his mother getting the shop ready coming from downstairs. Figuring the time might pass more quickly if he was doing something, we went down stairs and helped his mother set up. The woman was surprised and delighted at her son’s appearance. Thanks to him she was able to finish the daily preparations early, so she rewarded him by making his favorite type of meat bun for breakfast.
After what seemed like an eternity Rinji finally left the house and even though he didn’t have to be at the academy for another couple of hours, he couldn’t bare to wait any longer.
“Rinji!” His mother called to him, stopping him as he was walking out the door to the shop. “You silly little leek. How could you forget your headband?” She told him, referring to his bare forehead.
“I’d never forget that!” Rinji replied with a big grin on his face. Then he turned to show her his left arm, where his forehead guard was tied. “See?”
“Why on earth did you tie it there?” his mother asked him, cocking her head to the side.
“Grampaw said that if I wore it here it’d make me smarter!” Rinji replied confidently to his mother. Who simply shook her head. He grandfather was always telling Rinji silly things like that.
“Fine.” The bun shop owner sighed at her son. “But you know you don’t have to be at the academy for another two hours..”
“I know!” Rinji said, turning and once again starting on his way to the academy. Leaving the area before his mother could respond. The woman simply let out a soft sigh yet again and put down the bag of meat buns she had in her hand. Her son had forgotten his lunch.

Location: Konoha - Ninja Academy
Rinji jolted his head up from the desk, a line of drool trailing back down. He had been awoken by a loud raucous of a student entering the room. As he blinked himself back awake, it would appear he may have woken up too early, he saw that the teacher was chewing out Ryu again. It appeared that he had collided with another student as there were ninja tools sprawled everywhere.
A bit later after things had calmed down Rinji had his head propped on his arm, bored to death in his seat in the very back of the room. Suddenly the door opened, and the entire class brightened. Rinji visibly perked up also. The teacher chucked a few pieces of chalk at a couple of students who had stood up in excitement. However, Rinji was too busy looking over the one who had entered, trying to figure out if it was the one who had brought the assignments. About that time the man identified himself to be the carrier of the assignments. Rinji’s leg bent leg began to bob up and down quickly, due to his excitement. Ryu called out what they all were thinking, telling the man to star reading.
Yet before the man could start, another late student walked in. This one being Ookami. Rinji pivoted his elbow, glancing at the girls who were visibly enamored at Kami’s arrival from his seat in the very back of the classroom. Rinji knew both of the late arrivals quite well. Especially Ookami, since he happened to share a name with Rinji’s favorite weapon. They were both really powerful and Jinchuuriki. Still Rinji figured that neither of them knew much about him. They could both probably beat a Chuunin if they wanted to. Rinji could barley do clone jutsu.
That was when the team assignments finally began. Rinji was ecstatic as he saw Ryu, Seiji, and a girl he hadn’t really noticed before leave the room after being told that they were a squad. He could feel his heart beat in anticipation, the warm feeling filling his chest. However, then the ceremony came to a swift end. Ookami simply left the room. Walked out without hearing his assignment or anything. The classroom went silent. The teacher and man who brought the documents stared at the door which had been left open in complete disbelief. Rinji blinked in confusion, like everyone else completely surprised by what had just occurred.
Flexing her back after Seiji had slapped it Ken hears a new voice and looks up to see a woman in a green Vest. "Well, looks like you three are going to be under my care for the next two or more years," Finally! So exciting. Seiji still couldn't breathe, but he was grinning like an idiot. "I'm glad to see that you're all getting along. My name is Mei, and yes.." She said as she held the back of her hands up to show the Uchiha Clan crest that was printed on the back of her gloves. "I, like Ryu, am part of the Uchiha Clan. But don't think that means I'm going to go easy on you, Ryu." She added, looking straight at him with an 'I'm not kidding' kind of look in her eyes. Seiji chuckled. "I'm going to be your sensei. Now, before we begin, does anybody have any questions?"
'She's our Jounin. Amazing! I can't wait to get started proving myself.' Ken stands and bows slightly. "Mei-sensei it is a pleasure to meet you. I can't wait to work with you and this team."
Before Mei could respond "See, I told you that you would make a good sensei, and so far so good!" She said in a chipper voice, as she took in the squad. Well whoever she was, she apparently got along with their Jonin. "Hiya, I'm Klin Delfor. Chuunin of the Hidden Cloud, Jinchuuriki of the Two Tails, and friend of Mei." Seiji gasped. A jinchuuriki from another village. Sure he knew that Ryu had a tailed beast within him, but it was so different when the jinchuuriki was from another village. Almost threatening even, it was strange, Seiji felt odd when it wasn't someone who he knew he could trust. What was she doing with their sensei? Seiji looked on in a small amount of awe as she continued. "Make sure to respect each other, and all of that other stuff you learned in the academy." She said the last part somewhat rushed, apparently embarrassed in front of so many people so didn't know. She then turned to Mei and smiled at her, before turning to smile at the kids. "You got a good team Mei. I can tell." Ryu decided at that moment to jump back up on the table.
"No she doesn't, she's got the BEST team!" he declared loudly to the world, this time flashing a victory sign. Seiji chuckled, but Seiji wasn't detered by his antics, he had a question for the Kumo nin. "I'm sorry if I come off as rude, Kumo-nee-chan, but why exactly are you in the Leaf? Is it for a mission or are you just good friends with Uchiha sensei?" The ninja from the cloud never got a chance to speak, at that point, Seiji's ni-san Ookami walked in. Seiji and Ryu instantly glared at Ookami as best they could. Ookami made a rude noise when he walked in. Seiji's face was beginning to turn red. "Oi, ni-san, this is OUR room for meeting with OUR sensei. Don't you have to meet with your sensei now? Aren't you excited to meet your own teammates? What are you doing here?" Seiji said. It was at that point that Ryu decided to speak up.
"Umm, the...the Kyuubi says to say," Ryu took a deep breath to calm himself. "He says to tell Matatabi and the smelly chimp that their better says hello since he feels he should be sociable since it's the first time in over fifty years that so many of us have been in one place." he then gasped in air after getting the whole message out in one go. Realizing he was still on the table, he then climbed down. "Sorry. I don't know what the message means, I was just conveying."
'The Kyuubi? This boy is the jinchuuriki? I'd heard it was an Uchiha but I'd have never though it would be this boy. Maybe there's more to him than I thought. This team may not be so bad after all.
'She's our Jounin. Amazing! I can't wait to get started proving myself.' Ken stands and bows slightly. "Mei-sensei it is a pleasure to meet you. I can't wait to work with you and this team."
Before Mei could respond "See, I told you that you would make a good sensei, and so far so good!" She said in a chipper voice, as she took in the squad. Well whoever she was, she apparently got along with their Jonin. "Hiya, I'm Klin Delfor. Chuunin of the Hidden Cloud, Jinchuuriki of the Two Tails, and friend of Mei." Seiji gasped. A jinchuuriki from another village. Sure he knew that Ryu had a tailed beast within him, but it was so different when the jinchuuriki was from another village. Almost threatening even, it was strange, Seiji felt odd when it wasn't someone who he knew he could trust. What was she doing with their sensei? Seiji looked on in a small amount of awe as she continued. "Make sure to respect each other, and all of that other stuff you learned in the academy." She said the last part somewhat rushed, apparently embarrassed in front of so many people so didn't know. She then turned to Mei and smiled at her, before turning to smile at the kids. "You got a good team Mei. I can tell." Ryu decided at that moment to jump back up on the table.
"No she doesn't, she's got the BEST team!" he declared loudly to the world, this time flashing a victory sign. Seiji chuckled, but Seiji wasn't detered by his antics, he had a question for the Kumo nin. "I'm sorry if I come off as rude, Kumo-nee-chan, but why exactly are you in the Leaf? Is it for a mission or are you just good friends with Uchiha sensei?" The ninja from the cloud never got a chance to speak, at that point, Seiji's ni-san Ookami walked in. Seiji and Ryu instantly glared at Ookami as best they could. Ookami made a rude noise when he walked in. Seiji's face was beginning to turn red. "Oi, ni-san, this is OUR room for meeting with OUR sensei. Don't you have to meet with your sensei now? Aren't you excited to meet your own teammates? What are you doing here?" Seiji said. It was at that point that Ryu decided to speak up.
"Umm, the...the Kyuubi says to say," Ryu took a deep breath to calm himself. "He says to tell Matatabi and the smelly chimp that their better says hello since he feels he should be sociable since it's the first time in over fifty years that so many of us have been in one place." he then gasped in air after getting the whole message out in one go. Realizing he was still on the table, he then climbed down. "Sorry. I don't know what the message means, I was just conveying."
'The Kyuubi? This boy is the jinchuuriki? I'd heard it was an Uchiha but I'd have never though it would be this boy. Maybe there's more to him than I thought. This team may not be so bad after all.

Ookami listened as Seiji made his remarks towards him, "Oi, ni-san, this is OUR room for meeting with OUR sensei. Don't you have to meet with your sensei now? Aren't you excited to meet your own teammates? What are you doing here?" Kami looked at him with a grin and simply stated, "When we fight, if you can't hold your own against me for three minutes, then your not worthy to be called a Hyuuga Prodigy." Kami said this in a hostile voice before turning and walking back into the classroom with the rest of students.
Kami was unaware of the faceless expressions he had caused by walking out of the room in such a sudden outburst. There where still some faces he didn't have the manner of knowing but he was sure that everyone in this room he would be fighting sooner or later. One boy in particular was staring at him, and Kami knew him well. "Senju Rinji." Kami said to himself as he sat stood at the side of the desk waiting for his team to be called.
"Next team: Senju Rinji, Maren Yasutora, and Ookami Hyuuga."
Kami looked at his new team, Rinji, the new and upcoming member or the Senju clan, the decendants of the First Hokage, this was more surprising to him than anything. Maren Yasutora, the only man capable of using a kekkei genkai that was comparable to Rock Lee's eight inner gates technique. Kami was in a state of anxiety and joy, this new team of his was more than capable of handling themselves but there was a downside. In areas that they were weak he made up for, chakra control wasn't their strongest thing. "Ehh this is going to be hard to deal with." Kami grumbled as he shuffeled into room nine.
Their Jounin on the other hand was bizzare. She was known as The Great Wind , the reason because her wind nature techniques were immensely powerful. Kami sat down as the rest of the team shuffeled in along with Kanae sensei.

Kavic laughed at his brother's assertions as to his terrible cooking as he removed his rogue ninja headband and stowed it in his pack. "Your choice brother, just don't expect to borrow my money if you use yours to pay for 'good food'. Though a night indoors doesn't sound objectionable." The two started off on the path towards the village, walking evenly over the ground as they rounded a bend in the road and found the village before them. Before they got within hearing distance of other people he said in a low voice to his brother, "It may be best if you don't openly associate with me once we enter the village. You are still likely one of our...old village's best kept secrets, though I suspect my face is already in a number of bingo books. Either one of us detected alone will raise a smaller response than the both of us. And what's more, they may not yet realize we're travelling together. It's to our advantage to maintain that illusion, and to not advertise our fraternal ties. It may be a nuisance, but every advantage helps in our situation."
As they neared the gates, Kavic secured his customary cloak around his person, his mask and head-covering all in place. Sure his face may be in some bingo books, but he didn't intend to give people a good look at his face. Hell, maybe the Hidden Stone didn't even bother to put him in theirs. He certainly wouldn't complain if that turned out to be the case. Regardless, he let Reiki take the lead going into the hidden village, saying, "You're the one who wanted to come here. You lead on, I'll be around." With that he allowed his brother to drift ahead of him, he was the one who had wanted to see this village anyway. He was careful to maintain enough distance that the casual observer would not discern that the two were a pair, while perhaps a more astute observer would come to the incorrect idea that Kavic was attempting to secretly tail Reiki.
While he kept an eye on his brother, he pretended to busy himself with stalls along the way, examining different arrays of food, drink, toys, and trinkets. He wasn't actually interested in anything these people were selling, though he did feel something twinge in him. Despite the foreign attire and customs of the people here, as well as the difference in building styles, it was unmistakably a ninja village. Their were shinobi peacefully walking the streets, relaxing between missions, children running along rooftops and playing 'ninja', and a host of other little things that reminded him of his old life in the Mist Village. He shook his head, reminded of how much he hated his old village. Sometimes he wondered what would have happened if he hadn't been a Mist shinobi, belonging instead to one of the other villages. Seeing this village, he felt that nothing would have changed. These villagers would fear and scorn a monster in their midst, it was just human nature.

Klin watched in silence as the Genin szed her up, normal considering she had just walke din and declared herself a Jinchuuriki, but she let them study her, and Nibi didn't seem to mind at all, and said that they would not attack her. Klin responded by stating that she could take on a few Genin, which made Nibi yell, Look Klin. These Genin are all very powerful, you could take them, but that would make Mei angry at you, and I don't think you could take her. Klin didn't want to find out.
She chuckled to herself when the Uchiha boy declared that Mei had been given the best team. He reminded her a bit of the stories of the hero Naruto of the Leaf. She grew up hearing the stories, and how he saved the world. Her mom even told her that she had met him when she was a Genin. And you," She turned herself to face the Uchiha boy, "If you ever need help learning control over Kurama, don't be afraid to ask." She smiled and then surendered to what Nibi had been yelling at her. "Nibi says she is still looking for a match to see who is the better, she says he fought dirty last time. Don't worry, she is just a big kitty cat." She then turned to Mei. "So you want me to stick around? I could help with your team exercises, although we might start our Genin off a tad differently in the Coud. Do you have giant animals in the nearby forests?"

Kootta realized when the hypnosis that formed the old man began jabbering that he'd never get the information he wanted. Since the old fool was bent on merely talking and reminiscing about the old days, breaking the jutsu himself and continuing would be dangerous under the current situation. So he forced a false memory of an appointment into the facade and politely left. When he was free, he made his way out of the village, this disguise would not be used a second time. He kept traveling until he was far away from the village, it was only then that he spoke again. " It would appear that your speed should never be underestimated Takezo. Not only did you collect your prize, you even beat me back here."
He shrugged out of his disguise as he spoke, his giant of a team mate stepping out of the shadows carrying the body of the crime lord he'd chosen to pick up. "At any rate, my infiltration was a failure, I ran into a woman with a monstrous amount of chakra. The old man then began to babble, I had to make a tactful retreat or waste time talking about his old days."
"Since we have one success I suggest we head to the Land of Honey for the next meeting, after all a prosperous country such as that would never expect an organization like Akatsuki to use it as a temporary meeting place. My compliments to whoever came up with the idea." The current Akatsuki was quite scattered, this would be the first time he'd attended a meeting of more than two members. As it was, this should be rather interesting.

After Takezo had dropped off the money he went straight to work. He released his seal, turning himself into plasma for one brief second while he moved to Iwa in his accelerated form. Every thing seemed so slow when he was in that form as he was almost instantly to his destination. There he waited for Kootta just outside of Iwa. The village was too low to the ground for his taste. The other part to his distaste to the village was probably because it was made out of rock instead of wood or clay. That meant he could not melt it though he could still easily wipe out enough organic life. When Kootta came out he gave a short nod towards the comment about the Land of Honey.
As they walked and were eventually out of sight from the village, Takezo put his Akatsuki robes back on. They were the symbol of the infamous group so he thought the robes should be worn with pride. "Say. Do you have any idea what we will be doing next after the meeting? Personally I want to raze a village to the ground. I want to here the roar of battle and the clatter of weapons once again." He told Kootta. He was sick of waiting endlessly without any challenge. Because of the damned Alliance war was rare among even the smaller countries so nobody hired mercenaries very much anymore. What they really needed was to start a war.

Kavic had always been rather tolerable of unsavory things, and for the most part it didn't bother him, but the cooking was unacceptable and he refused to eat any more of that dreadful 'food'. "I have money, and if I need more I can find someone else to pay for it, I've always been good at that." He chuckled slightly before taking on a more sour expression, turning to look at his brother as they neared the village. He disliked how Kavic had been so distant whenever they passed a village with any ties to one of the Hidden Villages. Kavic was being overly cautious, keeping his distance from Reiki just because of the possibility that someone would recognize him. Sure it was a risk and could mean trouble, but they were far from the Hidden Mist and they hadn't been openly aggressive towards random people along their way, it could be assumed that no other Hidden Villages were actively hunting either of them. Of course the thought of a Bingo Book containing Kavic wasn't impossible, he was a high ranking Shinobi and his rogue status was brother to the forefront of Reiki's mind when his brother shoved his headband away. The younger brother had long since tossed his headband, not feeling a particular attachment to it and never wearing it to begin with. With all that in mind Reiki simply kept his mouth shut, a small sigh escaping but no attempt to dissuade Kavic, letting his older brother do as he pleased.
Reiki nodded to Kavic, walking into the village casually, giving no signs that he knew his brother was following him, not wanting the separation to mean nothing by someone figuring it out because of him. He would simply do what he wanted to in the first place, walk around and explore a bit, see what this village was like compared to his home country. Truthfully it was very similar, not in appearance but in general atmosphere, people wandering around and talking, kids playing, ninja wandering about for different reasons. He was sure most of them didn't notice anything strange by his presence, but he was being a tad cautious, he knew in a Hidden Village there would be some who would sense his presence, perhaps not know exactly who it was in the bustling streets or how immense his chakra was but it was a possibility. For the time being he monitored the surroundings, checking to see if he had alerted anyone yet while trying his best to look like another everyday person or tourist, acting interested in small trinkets and stands on the side of the road. At one point he even stopped to give some rather flirtatious words to an attractive store manager, though it hadn't truly been for the sake of his cover, more a force of habit that he couldn't stop himself from indulging in.
He was only able to be cautious for so long though, soon finding himself bored at just looking and deciding to duck into one of the many small restaurants in Iwagakure. He smirked as he remembered what his brother had said, he would have to manage his money properly to make sure he always had the funds to enjoy the 'good food' as Kavic termed it. Honestly he wasn't that picky when it came to food, he could deal with decent or sub-par food most of the time but he Kavic's cooking, that wasn't going to happen anymore. So he stopped in the small restaurant, ordering enough food for two people easily, waiting for Kavic to come and join him or simply letting it be an annoying sight for his over protective brother to look upon. Either way he was going to eat, Kavic could do what he wanted.
Mumoichu was waiting up ahead of the other two and smoking a cigarette with a stupid grin on his face. "Ah if it isn't Yuki-tan and Take-chan, how've you guys been lately?" Tugging at his robe slightly he get up and followed behind them. "Hey Yuki-tan are we to just walk there? I mean sure I'm slower than you guys but even I have time that can't be wasted, strange isn't it?" Stretching slightly he finished his cigarette and threw it into a puddle as they walked on. "Oh how funny it is that we represent the three branches of a ninja... Taijutsu, Genjutsu, and Ninjutsu but who can complain? I'm a member of the esteemed Akatsuki wheeeee..." With this Mumoichu shut his mouth and walked on grinning.

Hakui crept silently through the forests outside of Iwagakure. He'd heard that Koota and Takezo were heading from there toward the Land of Honey. It had been his idea to meet there. Then, like an ungodly disease, rotting inside the bountiful cities of the Land of Honey, they would leave as an illness does once they were quite finished. Violently. Hakui had to smirk. It was going to be such a good day. He'd started this particular morning with a very successful experiment in Chakra maniuplation. He'd learned that Darkness was the only type of Nature that could hold Chakra's of other natures. That poor little Water type ninja. Hakui had hoped Water would be the most flexible of all the other natures, that it would accept Darkness type. It really was a pity. That poor man, he was in a better place, resting in pieces. Hakui bowed for a moment in silence of his contribution to medicine.
At that precise moment, Koota and Takezo were walking down the path he was hiding in. It had to be them, one of them was wearing an Akatsuki robe. I figured that it would be the best place to plan our permanent location. Finally, when we're done with the place, I suggest we raze it to the ground, as a sign of things to come. The Akatsuki is back, gentlemen, and I think it is time we said 'hello.'"

At the mention of giant animals, Seiji stood up. "Oh boy! Really? I've been wanting to try fighting something like that for a while! Please Mei-sensei?" For added effect, Seiji even used big fake puppy-dog eyes. It probably wasn't as cute and persuasive as he thought it was though, those white eyes were kinda freaky sometimes, people often told him so.

Mei watched and listened to her pupils as they spoke with excitement to each other. She herself was excited to take them for their first day of training, but she wasn't quite sure what kind of training she would put them through, especially on the first day. When Ryu passed on the Kyuubi's message, Mei had a slight expression of confusion on her face. The tailed beasts knew each other? She knew the whole story about the Sage of Six Paths dividing the Ten Tails into nine massive entities of chakra known as the Tailed Beasts, but she didn't believe it to be true. When things settled, Mei cleared her throat in preparation to speak. "Alright! If there are no questions, then let's head out of here. Follow me!"
Mei headed out of the doors, headed for one of the many training grounds scattered around the village. She still wasn't quite sure what she wanted to do, but the sight of kids running around the village gave her a spark of inspiration. Skill Assessment. She didn't quite know what the gennin were capable of, so perhaps she would let them show her. When she reached the training field, Mei waited for the others. "So I know you've all just come out of the Academy... but the real hard work begins right now. I want to know a little more about you guys though, so we'll have a little fun with this. Let's see who's the first to be able to lay a hand or a technique on me. You may all work individually, or work as a team, but the little competition begins now. Best of luck to you all!" And with that, Mei's eyes began to change from its normal shade of black to a glowing red color. The trademark three tomoe of her sharingan could be seen as she activated the dojutsu. With it activated, Mei's reaction time and perception would be boosted dramatically. It would be interesting to see how the kids would respond to this challenge, and how they would work in order to accomplish the task.

Ken darted into some brush on the side of the field and began to formulate her plan. ' She obviously is using her sharingan so a direct attack won't work. If I used a smoke bomb to cloud her vision I could strike from behind with a kuni.' Liking her plan she darts through the brush getting into position. Once behind her teacher she throws a smoke pellet at her feet shortly followed by a kuni aimed for her legs. 'There that ought to do it.'

"Hell, four of us here and we haven't even made it to the meeting ground. If I were a conceited upstart I'd think I'm special," Kootta couldn't keep himself from cracking the joke as the continued their unrushed journey to the Land of Honey. "Though I think I'll play the counter argument this time Hakui. After all that small nation may have deeper pockets than most anyone and never seen war, but messing with it too much will draw attention to ourselves. So a great leveling or conquest this round I must question for the sake of long term benefits." He wasn't disagreeing with Hakui, it was simply a game of Devil's Advocate, after all the previous Akatsuki fell in part because of a premature unveiling.
"Though I guess this is a great time to voice a couple points that I intended to voice at our meeting: an evaluation of the two man cell, sure it worked for the previous incarnation but we also saw it let them get hunted down. A classic speed versus power debate really. The second point being as you said a permanent base and my final point being how to we wish to go about. Our predecessors quickly got all the major nations on their tail, but used a minor village as a base. Should we use our own might to try breaking the major nations up front. Or shall we extort all the minor villages, they should be chaffing under the after effects of the Five Nation Shinobi Alliance. There should be plenty of hatred there for us to extort." Kootta slipped his gloves on before he finished his idea.
"We have power, and they have some resources and a lot of cover...since we have what they desperately need to level the field, I think an arrangement can be made."

"The larger nations would have numbers on their side though the former Akatsuki had a larger force than the Shinobi Alliance as well but we all know how that ended. We would have financial power on our side. With multiple villages that can serve as bases it would be harder for the Shinobi Alliance to uproot us. Also if we can manipulate the Daimyos of those nations then we will have true power on our side."
"Our next step would need to be to break up the Alliance so that war can break out. Peace is bad for our line work so the sooner a war breaks out, the sooner we can get the high paying jobs. Though we could always aim for the bingo book too. I would suggest sparking up a war between the Land of Lightning and the Land of Fire since they have the largest armies in the continent. We would have to disguise Akatsuki as a group of independent mercenaries."

Exploiting the village's could be our greates asset seeing as how we could take control of the minor countries, such as the Waterfall village. They have a reasonable amount of supplies and lets just say, when you spill their blood it looks like art." A few seconds later, he was picking himself out of the tree he'd landed in, falling onto the swing underneath and cushioning the blow with his head.
"Ten foot drop, yup, that's the Academy swing." he said to no one in particular as he rolled himself upright. He stood up and looked around for his team, barely remembering who he was going to be teamed up with. He also sent a quick prayer off, hoping that he wasn't too late.

Kami thought to Son as he shook his head even more. He's on your team remember that." Son stated as he let out a huge laugh. "You know one of these days i'm going to knock that smirk off your face." Kami said as his other teammate Maren, walked up.

"Alright!" Mei sensei said after everyone had finished, "putting If there are no questions, then let's head out of here. Follow me!"
Mei headed out of the doors, followed closely by Seiji and the rest of the group. Seiji was literally shaking with anticipation. He was so excited for the first real day of training. Team Mei headed for one of the many training grounds scattered around the village. When they finlly got there, Mei-sensei turned to face them and spoke, "So I know you've all just come out of the Academy... but the real hard work begins right now. I want to know a little more about you guys though, so we'll have a little fun with this. Let's see who's the first to be able to lay a hand or a technique on me. You may all work individually, or work as a team, but the little competition begins now. Best of luck to you all!" And with that, Mei's eyes began to change from its normal shade of black to a glowing red color. The trademark three tomoe of her Sharingan could be seen as she activated the doujutsu. With it activated, Mei's reaction time and perception would be boosted dramatically. It would be interesting to see how the kids would respond to this challenge, and how they would work in order to accomplish the task. Seiji spoke up, "Guys, we should work together! It'll be the easiest way to win. All we have to do is touch her." Just as he was finished, however, Kanashia was no where to be seen. Great. "Alrighty then, Ryu, back me up! I'm a water technique user, if you've got lightning or ice, combo your attacks with me!" Seiji said, activating his Byakugan. Seiji was formulating a plan in his head, however, at that moment, Kanashi darted out from some brush and tossed a smoke bomb at Sensei's feet from behind her. There's the opening! Seiji used the body flicker technique to move back to where Ryu was and formed hand seals as quickly as he could, "Suiton: Tearing Torrent Technique!" Seiji raised his right hand and a ball of water the size of a basketball formed in it, floating an inch or so from his palm. Seiji aimed and fired his rapidly moving stream of water at the place where he could see Sensei's Chakra points through the smoke. Immediately after the water struck, Seiji moved to the place where he could see Mei-sensei's Chakra points, his gentle fist blazing.

After all that small nation may have deeper pockets than most anyone and never seen war, but messing with it too much will draw attention to ourselves. So a great leveling or conquest this round I must question for the sake of long term benefits. Though I guess this is a great time to voice a couple points that I intended to voice at our meeting: an evaluation of the two man cell, sure it worked for the previous incarnation but we also saw it let them get hunted down. A classic speed versus power debate really. The second point being as you said a permanent base, and my final point being how to we wish to go about this. Our predecessors quickly got all the major nations on their tail, but used a minor village as a base. Should we use our own might to try breaking the major nations up front. Or shall we extort all the minor villages, they should be chaffing under the after effects of the Five Nation Shinobi Alliance. There should be plenty of hatred there for us to extort." Kootta slipped his gloves on before he finished his idea.
"We have power, and they have some resources and a lot of cover...since we have what they desperately need to level the field, I think an arrangement can be made." He wisely pointed out. It was brilliant. Then Takezo spoke.
"The smaller nations certainly hold quite a bit of power if they are united by even a loose alliance. The larger nations would have numbers on their side though the former Akatsuki had a larger force than the Shinobi Alliance as well but we all know how that ended. We would have financial power on our side. With multiple villages that can serve as bases it would be harder for the Shinobi Alliance to uproot us. Also if we can manipulate the Daimyos of those nations then we will have true power on our side." Hakui nodded in approval. They really were a smart bunch. Hakui had to hand it to them He was glad he was finally in a place with his equals.
"Our next step would need to be to break up the Alliance so that war can break out. Peace is bad for our line work so the sooner a war breaks out, the sooner we can get the high paying jobs. Though we could always aim for the bingo book too. I would suggest sparking up a war between the Land of Lightning and the Land of Fire since they have the largest armies in the continent. We would have to disguise Akatsuki as a group of independent mercenaries." Hakui nodded again, it was another master stroke, plus it would keep Konoha, who meddled quite thoroughly in the last Akatsuki's business, off of their tails for a while.

We will not be able to back a massive punch but this will be as we gather strength. Unless a Kage faces one of us themselves I do not think we will have much to worry about." Takezo finished. Again, Hakui nodded silently. Take out the influential figures and watch them fall apart, as long as it was done quickly and quietly, there would be no mess and no Kages to fight. Drawing his sword, he made a single slash, molding the lightning chakra through the blade and out of it as a ball of lightning, which would colllide with the stream, electrifying it. Mid slash he grabbed a kunai and ducked down, sending it flying near the ground right at where Seniji had sent his Suiton Jutsu. Then jumping up, above the cloud of smoke, he reversed the grip on his sword as his made a single revolution mid-air. Completing the revolution, he launched a massive lightning ball straight at where his sensei should have been. Landing in a crouch, all he could do, was hope he hadn't missed completely.

The classroom was only silent for a bit more longer after Ookami had suddenly left. Then, the teacher broke the silence by grumbling a bit and shuffling some papers before starting once again to read off names. A couple of more groups of three left the room before Ookami returned to the classroom, as unapologetically as ever. This time the room seemed to ignore his arrival for the most part. The Hyuga walked over and stood by a desk apparently silently. The teacher stopped for a moment at the next paper, grumbling a little bit as he looked around the room. I wonder why he gets such special treatment… must be nice to be both a Hyuga and a Jinchuuriki. Rinji thought to himself with a little envy as his attention slipped away from the monetarily quiet teacher.
“Next team: Senju Rinji, Maren Yasutora, and Ookami Hyuga.”
Rinji’s attention was suddenly perked back toward the teacher. He had finally received his squad assignment! The next few moments were a blur as he quickly exited the classroom, his heart was pounding with excitement. His head filled with many ideas especially what would his Jounin be like? After he had calmed down a bit he found himself, he found himself in one of the classrooms with Ookami, the other member of his squad. The he saw their Jounin, he though he recognized them, but he couldn’t place their name. Wait a minute, where’s our last member? He asked himself looking around.
Just then the squad’s last member showed up, and Ookami exchanged pleasantries with him. When Maren identified himself, Rinji recognized him a bit by the strange thing he said, something about manliness. The ninja in training had only been around in the academy for a little while and it was surprising to Rinji that Maren had apparently graduated so early after having showed up. Maren then asked their names, saying he wasn't that good at remembering them.
“I’m Rinji.” Rinji said abruptly, leaving out his last name. He was a bit sensitive about his father, so he didn't want to bring up his lineage. “You're kind of late, did something happen?” He asked Maren, hoping to change the subject away from his own name.

It wasn't long before Kami had realized everything that was going on. Paired up with a bunch of people who would more or less be useless in the upcoming battles. Well atleast that was what Kami was hoping for. He sat down at a desk as their Jounin entered the room. Kami was shocked to see that it was Konoha's Howling Wind.
Kami looked at Rinji and then at Maren. "Well I guess the introduction part of the team is finished. So whats next?" Kami asked as he leaned back on a desk. He hadn't noticed it at first but when he really took the woman into perspective, he noticed everything about her. She wore blue and burgandy ninja robes, and the jounin jacket. She had pale skin and ice blue eyes.

"Well first off, my name is Soratushi Mitsuko, but you may call me Sora, or Suko. From today on I will be serving as your jounin. Now before we even get to any type of team meeting, I want to test your skills as a team first. Now follow me." The tall light skinned woman stated as she made her way towards the door. Her voice was as soft as velvet but colder than than a katana hitting against an ice wall. She walked out of the academy and eventually arrived at the Training grounds with her students following.
"Let's begin shall we. I'll explain the rules. If you can tag me before 12:00 then I will consider you all my new team. If not then you'll be taking a long walk back to the academy. Simple? Now remember the key of this excercise is teamwork. Now begin!" Sora said as she vanished into what seemed like thin air.
Kami looked at his teammates and began speaking. "Ok look heres our best bet if we want to tag sensei. Maren you should act as a distraction and lure her out while Rinji follows up with a chidori and fools her into my Hyuuga style. Sounds simple enough right?" Kami asked with a smile as he looked at his team

Senshiro turned her head as she heard Hakui state, "I like her," . She laughed and continued towards their destination. Sure the Land of Honey was a small village, but it had countless acess routes to where they would have to go. Not to mention the amount of travelers that passed through their. Sen smiled as the thought ran through her head.
But looked at Hakui when he spoke.

Sen looked at Mumoichu for a second before bursting out laughing. "I'm sorry Mumo-san did you say that you would drain me? Ok and let's be real, your not the only person who can drain someone's chakra around here. But your right, I wouldn't want to spill that prescious blood of yours. One day I will but that day isn't anytime soon." Senshiro added.
"So question, about these pairings now. Is it mandatory to have a partner or would it be like a request of sorts?" She looked at Mumoichu and Yuki as she kept her pacing fairly well with the other members.
"Yeah, I overslept! A guy's gotta be well-rested before a day like this!" Maren said with gusto, and would have continued had their mentor not spoken up, at which point he had turned to face her, albeit not in the most attentive stance. He followed her to the training grounds, listened without raising any questions, and waited for Ookiki(Anyone get the pun? If you do, congrats.) to finish his spiel. THEN he started acting serious.
"Okay, but I'm warning you now-" he paused as he brought out a scroll and made a sign. After the poof of smoke, most of the general area was covered in near-invisible wires, forged under the belly of the King Salamander himself to act as a mousetrap to anyone larger than they were, and then Maren continued. "-There's a reason I got out of the Academy in under two years. I had never wielded chakra before, and... Well, you probably heard about what happened at the final exam." People were still questioning how he'd made so many doppelgangers with the same jutsu as everyone else. "Just do me a favor and don't hold us back, Monkey Boy. Gentle Fist is risky if the opponent is faster than you, and well, in an open fight, she's a jonin with Wind chakra, and we're not besides, all we need to do is tag her, not harm her. Flash, how good are you with that Chidori?" His tone had taken on that of a leader, and he pulled out a kunai, twirling it in his fingers. "How fast can you move with it, and how much of a toll is it on you? There's no point in using it if it'll put you out of commission for the rest of the day. Two partners after a failed plan is better than one after a successful one." He dropped to one knee and drew out a second plan in the dirt. "If you can use it without putting yourself at too great a risk, we'll stick with Monkey Boy's plan. If not, we'll both try to direct her towards the field, where we can move in the wires with better ease than her, and MB can use his gentle fist with a better advantage." none the less it works and by a challenge I meant it as... nevermind I'm bad with words I can't even think of how to say it but anyway it seems that there's no one else posting on the Konoha side and my character is off in his own little world (as how he would act in this situation) so I'm waiting for either Konoha kids to post to read what they're doing or for the other Akatsuki members to finish the meeting so we can advance the story some more

First of all Shugo, I don't see why you even included me in that comment when I haven't commented on your character.
Second, despite knowing me for two years; it would appear you truly don't know me. I enjoy a challenge, but a challenge requires someone to at least be a peer in an event. Usually, people who get uppity and such are not a peer. It's usually just an idiot talking out of their ass, which does annoy me. As for overbearingly cocky, aka arrogant, no one likes arrogant people.

Roku after hanging out with you and Neko for about 2 years I've found both of you have a flaw when it comes to people, you can't stand either a challenge or someone who's overbearingly cocky. That said I decided to make a character who plays off that difference for more roleplay action, why this works? Simple. Most of your characters are either calm and collected or the exact other side of the spectrum. That being as you two decided on your professional side I made a character to both ease tension and cause enjoyable moments for the roleplay.... Anyway as to why I posted this was to tell as to why I'm like this in the OOC as well, the basic fact that me talking as such would rouse you to post as well as become more involved yet again. Psychology isn't it fun?

The reason I questioned this was because if you ask OOC stuff in the posting 90% of roleplays die off because they feel rushed so any more questions?

Well, I'm sort of waiting either an opening that Rinji can see or for Maren to call for help to post as Rinji. Right now it would just be a whole lot of reactionary text, without much or any actually driving action. I rather just sum all that reaction when the post will contribute to the action, rather than just giving an "status update" post. Take all the time you need also, I have the patience of a dead garden hose. Also, kinda want to let some other people gets some posts in to balance it out.
As far as Sewo goes, I was thinking of using him as more of an "arc starter", like he shows up at one of the villages to have a personal sitdown with their perspective Kage. Especially since from what I can tell he's the only one that's actually a part of the Hidden mist at the moment. Which I'm also fine with.

Second of all I'm a huge fan of Naruto, though I can't remember which season of Shippuden I'm on, I am howecer somewhat versed in the universe of Naruto so I'd really like to join this. With your approval I would love to create a character for this roleplay.
