Introduction

The story of Draco Edge begins!

The entire world is known as Earth Land.
In the west lies the penninsula, Fiore.

In Fiore, many Guilds are born. One notable Guild is Fairy Tail. Fairy Tail is home to many heroic mages. It is also a guild not only famous for their strength, but also for their tendency to make a mess of things, wherever they go. They've caused many issues with the Magic Council as well.

In the year X784; a Dark Guild Eisenwald planned to use the ancient dark magic of Lullaby. Their plan was to assassinate the Guild Masters at their Regular Meeting. A Famous Mage, Erza Scarlet, from Fairy Tail overheard their plotting. She returned to Fairy Tail and brought with her the three renown mages; Natsu Dragneel, Gray Fullbuster, and Lucy Heartfilia. Together, the team of four thwarted Eisenwald's Plan. They ultimately disbanded the Dark Guild and saved the town of Oshibana as well as the Guild Masters. The Magic Council immediately reacted and arrested the Eisenwald Guild members.

Image

ImageShortly after this series of events, The Magic Council founded a Guild in place of Eisenwald. This Guild was thereby known as Draco Edge. The Guild was stationed in Oshibana Town as a protectorate for the (resuming) Regular Meeting for Provincial Guild Masters. From there, the Guild was formerly established and the not so very famous mage; Loritova became the Guild Master.

Loritova

"Here in Fiore, in the small Oshibana Town, lies the Guild; Draco Edge."

Loritova; an exceedingly tall man, with muscular build and flaming red hair. His stark appearance is dwarfed by the pan around to room below, a large gathering hall where many people can be seen conversing, eating, and bickering. Loritova appears to be standing on a balcony that overlooks the massive hall below. His crimson brown eyes look down upon the people that he's so hastily recruited in the past three months. They carry the future of Draco Edge with them, the future of a Guild founded by the Magic Council itself. They were chosen, by Loritova, to become the new leaders of this aspiring guild and they will mold it's future.
The man finally speaks, only lending a voice loud enough to be heard by himself.

"Ah. Today marks the day that Draco Edge becomes three months old. It's significance is to mark the day that Draco Edge is finally recognized as an official Guild of Fiore." Loritova pauses, takes a deep breath and continues. "These children, no, these selected few will carry this guild to its downfall or its greatness... hopefully the latter, obviously." He chuckles lightly as the group down below doesn't pay any mind to Loritova's existence. "Ah, this group is something!" He chuckles again. "Charlotte and Anachayla bickering as always; Seibi and Chowa trying their best to avoid getting dragged into the silly rivalry. Kacie always being the one who cleans up the mess they make, then there's Akumu and Fumiko who sit together munching on piles of sweets. The two young girls; Elysia and Haruka, are always running around, enjoying their lives... that always brings a smile to my face." He smiles the laughs abit. "Akio is always the one who tries to woo the women, usually taking his pick of Shae Ann or Eliza, although they always reject him." Loritova ruffles his beard a little before continuing. "Ah, I can't forget our little prodigy, Sotofu! He has a tendency to stay away from the loud noise and sit alone. There's also Theo, he's one you don't want to bother too often... he's just like Dimetre... well not really, Dimetre will at least socialize with the other members." He pauses to take another breath while taking a brief walk over to the window overlooking the Training Grounds. "The ever so gentle and kind Cassadin had a tendency to take care of the various plants found around the grounds, and Morien the valiant swordsman always diligently practicing his swordsmanship." He returns to his overlook of the main hall. "Ah yes, there is Draco Edge's newest member Kuroi Lightblade, although he hasn't quite settled in quite yet, he chooses to remain inside trying to be social, which is rather good... But of course we have our elite... Mordecai and Chayton, our own duo born from Mother Nature herself. Those two are arguably our strongest members, well at least Mordecai is, since he is our Guild Ace. Those two are definitely reliable mages, ones I put some of the deepest trust into... But... There is one other, Sandra. She is my most trusted fighter, although she is usually off doing the most dangerous and complicated of missions. Given that she's our top S-Rank Mage, she tends to be the one who watches over everyone, making sure all mischief is kept to a minimum. She is my most trusted Mage and she has deemed all my respect as a fine warrior." Loritova cracks his neck, then his fists, then takes a deep breath. "But enough of this! This is a day for celebration! We are now recognized throughout the Kingdom as a Magical Guild! Now, once Mordecai and Chayton return from their errand, our feast shall begin." Loritova hunches over the railing of the balcony again, looking down at his Guild, admiring the great growth that he has witnessed in the short three months.

Shae Anne Ramine

Things would often never go as one planned, life wasn't something that could go as planned. There would always be hurtles and upsets, and sometimes one's life plan would change entirely, many people - didn't have the luxury of being able to do said things in the first place. Sometimes, life takes a turn of its own, decides fate wants to kick you in the ass and just isn't on your side. Some higher being decides to skip over you and look over more important people. But there are those brief moments, those little miracles that happen within some people's lives that can make everything all better, no matter what had happened, no matter what will happen. It's like everything that was once bad then goes away, and in that moment, one feels lucky. One feels, eternally in debt, and one feels that thing, that some people call happiness.

Shae's entire life had been something that she crammed down inside her, something she shoved to the side so no one would ever hear about or no about and bring up again. As a child, she had discovered the harsh reality of a poker face, of a fake person, of a rotten society. Of people that turned a blind eye to reality, or are in fact to naive or even selfish to realize it. She was raised in a family of notorious mages, surrounded by nothing but riches. Her mother and father were the type of people that felt the need to look good for others, as they were many times in the spotlight. Their name was so important to them, but they had a daughter, and that daughter had to live up to expectations. But she didn't. Shae grew up a powerless mage, even at the age of eight she showed no signs of magic or future magical progression. And her parents didn't accept it, they wouldn't accept a lesser daughter. While her parents looked like loving parents from the outside, they were monsters, behind closed doors.

She remembered how they were beat her till she was black and blue, she remembered how they would toss her a sword or a knife to go hunt and kill things, putting her in the line of fire in hopes that some kind of magic would emerge when she tried to protect herself, but it never did, never did until that day. That fateful day, when everything changed. She was nine, and it was so vivid, when she came back barely alive - only to be beaten once more. Not good enough, never good enough, - but it was enough. The rest was a blur however, a blur until she ran out of the house with dead bodies behind her, until she ran and ran and never went back. She went missing from society for a long time, part of those times were all black to her, eventually, years later she came back to town and noticed signs all over, she was still wanted. In the middle of trying to run away, she ran straight into Loritiva - the best thing that could have happened, in her opinion. Till this day she never knew if she was considered a monster, in all reality, there was a part of
her that was. The amount of people that had seen that side of Shae must have been little though, unless she wasn't aware of it. She hoped no one was aware.

Shae listened to Loritiva give a speech - sort of. It was extremely hard to hear him over all the talk of the other members. The place was always loud, and while she was used to it by now, it was a tad bothersome that she couldn't hear and important speech. She caught bits and pieces of it though, she smiled at times, she had such good memories of Draco Edge, the only good memories within her entire life. When she heard however, Loritiva speaking about Sandra so fondly, she died a little inside. She looked down at the table she was sitting at, Sandra was always the best S mage. She herself was never really mentioned. Sandra was spoken of, even the lower ranked mages, like Sotofu, whom she'd grown fond of and drag around at times. She had worked so hard to get to the rank she was, but sometimes she thought she might as well not be there at all, leave the spot for a better, more powerful mage. Her expression was so gloomy, there might as well have been a cloud and rain over her. When she realized how she was acting however, she perked up and faked some smiles.

Perhaps it stemmed from her parents always wanting her to be perfect, be better, but she always wanted to better herself. She looked up to Sandra even though she never spoke to her, but now she needed to be stronger. She always thought her magic to be so common, give or take one magical ability. Shae kicked her feet back and forth a bit under the table, her feet were bare - as they were many times inside the guild, she wore a white dress which had a red scarf around it. Very basic but she thought it pretty, she had made them herself as well. Not feeling particularly hungry anymore, she took a bite of food and then left the table, walking outside for a moment. She made sure to steer clear of Akio as she did so. He was so flirtatious with women, it was too much, she always believed one person should only have eyes for one person. But Akio, had eyes for...anything with breasts. As she walked outside she breathed in the fresh air, feeling slightly relieved.

There was to be an event called Mission Impossible the next day, she knew nothing about it, other than the title and it's general information - it was a surprise, and in its own right that was always exciting. Shae sat against the wall of the guild and started singing to herself, her beautiful angelic voice echoed through the air. The guild had so many different types of people, different types of magic. There was also a new person, whom she would be sure to welcome personally later on, when they would be able to hear her. Shae was itching to go on a mission, but she had been taking on so many S class missions lately, and she needed to go on some with her teammate. She was paired with a girl with an interesting ability, or so thought, she was so pure of heart - it was very enlightening. Sometimes she felt however, their little team of two was so lonely, they did work well together however.

After the event the next day, she wanted to make sure to do a mission, and train. Not one or the other, it was not acceptable. Shae made sure to do training off where no one could see her, often where no one could find her - give or take maybe two people. She had been determined not to limit herself with just magic, but had become a skilled sword fighter and fencer, as well as archer. Archery had made its way into her magic as well. While she had the accuracy for marksmanship, it wasn't needed often. Or she felt it wasn't neccessary. Shae closed her eyes and continued her song, she hoped one day, she wouldn't live in Sandras shadow. It made her wonder who was her next competition. She had the habit of almost looking at Loritiva as a father, the way a child looks at their parents for recognition. She then decided this was a personal challenge. She opened her eyes and grinned wildly.

She was almost offended when Loritiva said Sandra looked over everyone without mentioning her. She didn't really give a flying fuck what the others thought of her after that was said however. She also did her best to look after the members, she was overbearingly protective at times, it had gotten to moments where she would threaten people who seemed even the smallest threat to everyone. She looked at people sometimes like they couldn't defend themselves, this wasn't on purpose, but she was just protective that way. She had been the shoulder to cry on and that person to talk to and even that personal bank. She thought maybe because her parents never cared for her, she had the need to care for others and then some. It was enough for her that everyone was happy, content, and safe.

Shae stomach then screamed in protest. She laughed to herself. "Hush you! You get enough food." She said - to herself. Shae while probably deemed a sweet or nice person, was also known in the guild to be a 'a stubborn little fuck.' As maybe one person would call her. Actually, she was just called stubborn most of the time, she was really small though so the other bit made sense. She was five one, slim and slender. Just small, she'd been told how fragile she looked and it always made her smile inside, it was ever so fun to prove people wrong. She did get in trouble a lot for dishobeying rules, rebelling, being alltogether unable to be controlled. And it was true, her personality could be interesting sometimes. Truly it could, if one knew her they would know she had a split personality - it was actually even more complicated than that, that was how she got her alias - definitely not one she chose herself. It did amuse her however.

Cassadin

"Oh, you look like you need some more water little guy!" Said the man, or rather, the boy, kneeling down in front of a small sunflower outside of Draco edge's main headquarters. He lifted the green water jug up, sprinkling a generous amount of aqua on the Sunflower. He adjusted the soil around the plant, wiping his dirty hands on his white shirt as he finished, smearing it with earthy color. "There, all done." Said Cassadin, entering the main building, wearing his dirty gardening clothes. He entered, the main building, waving too and greeting his fellow guild members as he headed to his room, to put his equipment away.

He entered the room, with its calm green and soil brown walls, and opened a large blue chest, where his put his watering can, spade, and seed packets away, removed his dirty shirt, and plopped down on his bed, sighing. Today marks the two-month anniversary of the Luna incident; the day in which Cass was kidnapped by the sinister cult, and his former teammates were slaughtered in front of his eyes. Cass was no stranger to violence and death, and being a mage, you take certain risks, but he still hadn't quite recovered from the horrible disaster that was his first mission.

Today was also the three-month anniversary of the guild's conception, and a day for celebration. Mordecai and Chayton had gone out previously, to hunt game for the feast, he assumed, and would most likely be back soon, so Cass decided to put on some decent clothes and socialize with his guild-mates. As he buttoned-up his black collared shirt, he wondered was his teammates were doing. Chowa was most likely tending to the library, or sitting about in the tavern-floor, and Charlotte, as usual, was most likely bickering, or having some sort of silly contest with her mortal rival, Anachayla.

He stepped out of his room, heading to the main floor, to see what was happening in Draco Edge.

AKIO

Akio would be walking back to the guild with a disappointed look his face ,as he begins to talk to himself. "Its so not cool that cute girls has a boyfriend." He looks up at the sky, " i wasted the whole day chasing after her to." Akio would continue to complain, as he remembers that today is the guilds three-month anniversary. "Oh crap how did i forget about that, the old man's (Loritova) been talking about it all week." Akio begins to run, "so not cool im going to get yelled at i bet." Even tho akio had only been in the guild for about a month and a half he already has a reputation of being a flirt and most of the female member couldn't stand him. Despite him being very "flirtations" he was a pretty good mage and even tho he doesn't talk about his past or his parents. It seem most of the guild members trust him. As sharp pain would begin to arise in akio chest he would begin to slow down to catch his breath. He slows down he HE says to himself ,"this is why i prefer to fly every where." He would props his arms behind his head and begins to think to himself. "I wounder what ann is wearing to day. I didn't get a chance to see her before i left the guild earlier." Just then he hears something that he has heard many times in his short stay with Draco Edge. A heavenly voice he knew it could only be one person. A huge smile would woulds appear on his faces "Anne!" He calls to her from down the road while waving one hand over his head.

Akumu

Life had its simply things..and they were sweets.." She murmurs, nibbling on a large pumpkin shaped cookie with a dazed look giving her a look of an airhead. Though not admitting it, she knew there were many other simple things that pleased her a whole lot more then sweets, like the guild for instants, the people in it as well. Though a drop of icing snapped herself out of thought, as it fell on her black sweater with a light plop. She looks downwards and blinks, processing the action that just happened. "Another reason to love dark colors..no stain~!" Akumu chirped cheerfully. Raising her hand in the air, dark matter formed around her hand, and in seconds a silk handkerchief fell onto her fingers . With the creation she just made, she began to clean the drop of icing carefully, while the cookie hanged out of her mouth childishly. After a couple of minutes of wiping, she was pleased with the clean results, so she stuffed the handkerchief in her pockets, resuming to her nibbling.

"What did that old man say?" Akumu asked dazed again, looking up from her cookie and towards the said person behind the window. The little "nightmare doll" was currently wearing a casual outfit, consisting of a large black sweat adorned with blue cat ears on the hood and black tights. While her clothing were nice and neat, her hair wasn't, it was a bit messier than normal and looked to be barely brushed showing how lazy she was.
While staring at the guildmaster, memories and photos flashed through her mind like an old, black and white slide show. One memory was the time in the orphange how she tried to materlized good dreams using "Arc of Embodiment" and "Darkness magic". It went well, until she lost control and it killed the boy. Then when the women there tried to hold her down into a cage like she was an animal. Oh and there was the time she scared the wits out of a guard from the hell hole. She lets out a small, light, bitter and crazy laugh causing the passing people to give her a odd confused look. She blinks and snaps out of it. "Almost lost it..again" Akumu scolded herself, empathizing on the word "again" After silent moments of nothing, she stood up suddenly. "Now what.." She mutters under her breath looking around, then towards Fumiko.

Kacie

A chattering hum bounced of the walls ecoing its inhabitants voices louder than seemed possible, it was gentle yet full of various different conversations, a few merry cheers, the odd spit of magic for those that disagreed, or were even practicing. Loritova was speaking, however Kacie was slightly dissapointed that she couldn't hear him, though she was comforted by the fact it couldn't be anything serious or he would have spoken louder.
Moving gracefully she picked up a glass and poured in some milk kindly giving it to one of her patrons, it was odd how everyone had such different tastes, though it did amuse her and made her love them all the more.

A loud creaking sound passed over as the front door was opened catching her attention. Cassadin was covered in soil again, it gleamed on his gardening clothes as the sun hit them before the door closed shut behind his entry, the sight gave Kacie a small smile as she nonchantly cleaned a glass.
Kacie often did this, just observing the rowdy crowd that was Draco Edge, she loved to hear their exciting tales of adventure, she loved to see how they had been growing these past months. Watching them fight, or make friendships it filled her with joy, it was a easier way to forget her past memories. To lock out the pain of knowing what she lost.

Her momentum began to slow as she looked at the glass in her hand and its reflection from the light shining through the window, she could feel herself becoming glum, her memories leaking back to her. With a strong grip on the glass she shook her head pulling her hand through her un-natural pink hair being careful to avoid the clips, sprouting a smile she looked back to the young ones and soon chuckled to herself at some of their antics. Some of them were late on their rent for the guild's doorms, she would have to mention it soon.

Mordecai Cezaero

The air was stiff, the scent of blood lingered. A large burlap sack swayed with the morning breeze, the sack soaking in the red hue of blood. Although the stench grow stronger and the gusts blew against him, Mordecai continued his hike. He had to rendezvous with Chayton so they could finish their hunt and return to Loritova with their spoils. Chayton, the east forest was rather large, full of numerous creatures. Where was Chayton, although he could easily handle himself he still wanted to ensure his ally's safety. So, again, was exactly was Chayton. Anyways, he had another hour or so before they agreed on their rendezvous.

Finally, Mordecai had caught traces of a wild wooly boar. "Ahah! Found ya' rascal!" Mordecai quickened his pace, flying through the forest towards the origin of the scent. He could feel the scent growing thicker, it's distinction easily overpowering all other scents. That was the trademark of the wooly boar, it's incredible scent. "You're mine!" He lunged into the small clearing only to find his partner, Chayton finishing up his fresh kill. "Chayton! Good find, my friend!" Mordecai chuckled light heartedly, elbowing Chayton. "With that boar, we should have enough for the feast, let us return!" Mordecai faced towards Oshibana Town, gesturing for Chayton to follow him. Both men carried large burlap sacks filled with fresh meat, ready for the feast.

Sandra R. Lecarde

Oshibana Town.

The crowded streets of Oshibana town, as always it would remind Sandra that she was not far from her home. A gentle breeze and the morning sun greeted her as she made the first steps into the colourful town. It was a warm welcome that made the swords-woman smile, every time she'd return from a job. Just like today...

How long has it been? A few days, maybe even an entire week since the young woman had last been inside the guild's house. Her mind wandered off to what might have changed in that time. During these three months, Draco Edge had grown rapidly. Wait, three months already? Today was the eighth of October, right? The guild master had planned a celebration because of Draco Edge's third month as an official guild.

How could she forget? Loritova himself had reminded the S rank wizard of today's feast...! With a realisation in mind, Sandra quickened her footsteps while making a mental note that she should try to bring something with her. No can do, to arrive without any contribution to a feast. The metal-plated boots began stomping on the pavement as they kept up a decent pace.

Lucky for Sandra, she had some money to spare for a few bits and pieces of edibles. It wasn't much, but at least she had contributed a bit to the feast. And that was all that mattered.

Draco Edge Guild House.

She had taken her sweet time strolling through Oshibana. The feast had most likely started, and she was the one arriving late. Though content on returning home, Sandra couldn't shake the feeling that a certain old man would want to talk about her absence for the majority of this 'important' day. Still, it would be great to see everyone again, plus maybe a new member or two.

The gravel crunched under the heavy weight of the swords-woman's footwear, until they came to a halt. Two large eyes glared from underneath fringes of oak-brown hair, admiring the sight of the Draco edge guild house. Sandra released a deep breath from her mouth, the warm feeling of home once again embracing her entire being.

β€œShae.” Sandra lightly bowed her head, acknowledging a fellow guild member, and S rank. The two never really talked much. Even though they are of the same rank, and practically live under the same roof. Giving the flirty fellow; Akio a hello as well, the young woman continued her way into the Guild house. A large tavern-like layout but twice the noise welcomed her. 'Twas a party after all. Every member, old and new was having a good old time. Talking out loud, eating and drinking all they can...

A light chuckle left the woman's mouth, nodding at anyone who greeted her as she approached the bar. Sandra didn't know if Kacie was even here (Although it was rather unlikely she wasn't.), but she had to place the bag of edibles somewhere. And with all the commotion going on, there was no way anyone would be trying the nick the bag from the counter.

β€œWelcome home, Sandra.” Her mind and body began to wander through the hall, observing as she spoke with no-one. On the balcony that granted a wide view of the bar, stood the guild master; Loritova. As high and might as ever, the old man certainly knew how to organize a feast. Sandra gave the man a nod. Of course to greet him, but mostly just to let the old man know she had returned. Nothing appeared to be out of place, and Sandra made herself comfortable by seating near the bar.

Dimetre

He was just taking a walk along the river. It was a nice day out but he couldn't really make himself feel all that excited even though today was the anniversary. There would surely be a huge party but he was still wondering whether to call in sick or not. He could get someone to run down a note to Loritova. It just wasn't a day for people... or crowds of mage people... Yeah. Mages were the loudest of them all it seemed. The dark haired boy sighed and bent down, dipping a hand into the cold clear water. It felt nice. He needed a job soon though. His rent was getting higher and higher each month. Maybe he should find a new place. He ran a hand through his hair and looked sideways at a couple of girls that were gazing at him. Dimetre turned away abruptly with a faint blush on his cheeks. Gosh, he wished they would just leave him alone. What attracted them anyway? He dressed all in black and his eyes were purple. There was nothing special... except maybe his height. Yup. He was a fricken giant.

Children were running around and the birds were chirping. IT was a day to be cheerful and have a party. Why didn't he feel up to it? Maybe he needed a fight or something. That would definitly give him a boost.... but he couldn't. His magic was dangerous. It could scar people's minds and damage them mentally. He did not want that. Dimitre sighed again and sat against a large oak tree.

Haruka

The little girl was humming happily to herself as the sun shined brightly down on her coppery hair, making it glow pleasantly. What a wonderful, amazing day! She threw up her arms and sang a little tune which a few birds automatically sang back to her. She smiled. Music was so wonderful. Haruka giggled as a bird rested on her skinny arm.

"Hey there, fella." she cooed in a sweet, gentle voice. "Hungry?" She took a crumb from her ppocket and held it out. The birdie pecked at it and Haruka smiled happily. "There you go." The bird took flight and she waved. "Have a nice day!"

She entered the guild, humming a tune softly to herself. Everyone was all there. Well, almost everyone. She could tell a few were missing but they were basically all there. Why were they being so jolly and boisterous? She wrinkled her nose. Was she forgetting something? Haruka shrugged the thought away and took a seat next to Akio. He was really funny she thought. Women would take one look at him and run.... or they'd consent to his advances... though that wasn't as often.

Anachayla Kaylorn - Ana

Heat flooded like a wave through Ana's skin as she fidgeted with her clothing, the sun was pouring down its rays onto her bare skin making her skirm at the unease it gave. To most people it probably wasn't that hot at all, just mild with a few clouds in the sky, however Ana had developed a problem with warm days since she learnt her magic, Ice-make. To use the spell she had been forced to train in the coldest of conditions so that he body wouldn't feel bothered by the Ice she manipulated, it had worked, she accepted cold tempurates more now, loving the soft breeze of snow storm rather then the gentle warmth of the sun.

In her mind, it was simply annoying.

Tugging on some of the white fur at her sleeve Ana tucked a strand of her vibrant blonde hair out her eye, it glittered against the sun, her eyes a shallow ice blue surrounded by a blanket of brown eyelashes, standing out compared to her pale skin shown on most parts of her body due to her choice of clothing such as her legs, waist, shoulders and up. The skin of a rich lady kept in the house all their life.
With a heavy stride she was walking through town, a bustle of shops filled the air with a light merriness people trading and living the day mindful of much danger other than loosing out on a coin or two. A child ran after a stray dog forcing a smile to form on her lips with a slight lift, the sound of a fight made her smile more however since she knew much about expierencing competition.
She was only in town now on her way back from a job because of her determination to not let charlotte get a better job than she, it was childish but she was determined to become an S-class mage as soon as possible, preferably before Charlotte of course.

A slick of sliver made Ana turned her eyesight to its direction as she smiled a Seibi giving him a play shove to his shoulder with her own "Another mission accomplished Seibi!" she said exstatic and proud of her own work. "Team Ice-breaker just cant get enough I say! Are you ready to take on another one when we get back, lets get a really difficult one this time! Do you think Loritova will give us an S-class! Wait no thats silly, he'd never allow it hes far too" she made a quote with her hands "stick to the rules." By that she meant, she was only a C rank so Loritova had always turned her away, and it frustrated her greatly. "None the less, I think we deserve more credit and harder missions, so I say what Loritova doesnt know... won't harm him, right?" she seemed like she was trying to convince herself aswell as Seibi.

Ana wanted so desperately to be an S-class, to be able to proof herself strong, to not sit in a corner and not be noticed, pushed around like a useless doll. She didnt want that ever again, it hurt her too deeply to be able to stand it a second time. After joining the guild she had witnessed how much Sandra and Shae had earned respect, how their rank alone gave them priviliges and left people looking at them in longing and awe, Ana herself looked up to them though she didnt really get to talk to them unless they were breaking up one her arguments of course. Ana was jealous of how people viewed them, she earned to have their respect, to be able to do what she wanted without fearing someone could control her movements, she wanted to be something more than she was, something respectable.

Suddenly a voice carried over a breeze which pulled through her hair sending it into cascades around her, quickly turning her gaze to it she felt a slight stomach drop as she recognised the caller. With a slight roll of her eyes but a cheerful smile she waved "Hey Akio! Guess what, Seibi and I just completed a job successfully! We got 10,000 coins for it!" she grinned deavilshly already itching to brag about her success. Akio was a new member, and he had shocked her, and all the girls, by being a deavilsh flirt, some slapped him others were disgusted. To be honest Ana wasn't all that keen on his playboy manners, but she was used to such people due to her childhood, she had dealt with countless people like him due to her sisters demand. Her smile dropped a bit at the thought, but quickly returned to her signiture bragging smirk as she approached Akio.

Kuroi was sitting rather quietly in a back seat in the the guild Draco Edge and although he looked calm on the outside he was rather restless on the inside. Draco Edge was loud and there where people doing all sorts of things, laughing, drinking, all very energetic. Kuroi was not familiar with such crowds and he did not know how to interact with them. "I wish I could have fun with them like that" he thought to himself as he sipped from his cup. it was his first day of being part of a guild and he had not yet even spoken to one person outside of registering himself to the guild. Kuroi let out a breath of frustration knowing that he was going to probably have a hard time getting to know people. When he had meet the guild master Loritova he was quite impressed even though it was only brief. As Kuroi lifted up his sleeve he looked at the mark on his arm with some satisfaction. "So it is a guild is it" he said with a slight smile on his face "its been a long time since I wanted to give something my all." Then he went back to sipping his drink.

Chowa Kyoku - a corner of the bar section

'It is annoying...and noisy...' was Chowa's first thought as he entered the guild. Everyone was all noisy...everything was so annoying...why couldn't they appreciate some quietness?...it would certainly make his life easier...God knew he hated noises. One hand clutching his book tightly and the other hand swaying back and forth in a lazy manner, Chowa's eyes immediately scanned the entire bar section and tried to find the quietest corner so he could read his book in peace. Well, it seemed luck didn't like him today. The teenager's frown deepened and he walked to a corner and sat down on a wooden chair, his footsteps barely created any noises. He looked at the empty table he was sitting...This table hadn't been taken yet...thanks god! He put the book on the table and sat in a low tone of voice to the bartender "...Miss Fienmal...would you mind making a cup of black coffee for me?...thank you very much..." He nodded his head and acknowledged several members as they waved their hands...He hated being sociable...Sighing deeply, Chowa opened his book and began reading, completely ignored everything else.

'Water is a chemical substance with the chemical formula H2O. A water molecule contains one oxygen and two hydrogen atoms connected by covalent bonds. Water is a liquid at ambient conditions, but it often co-exists on Earth with its solid state, ice, and gaseous state (water vapor or steam). Water also exists in a liquid crystal state near hydrophilic surfaces.'

Apparently, Chowa was reading about his element - Water...You might wonder what the hell was Water element or why the hell was he reading it...well, we would have to look back at his history to know about this. You see, Chowa was not a normal person. He was a B-rank mage of the Draco Edge Guild. And not just any mage...he was a dragon slayer - the water dragon slayer to be exact...the only one on this Earth. The knowledge cut him deep and made his wounded heart start bleeding again...He wasn't supposed to be the only water dragon slayer...His sister was supposed to be one, too... His inability to save his sister, to protect her had caused him this loneliness...if only he hadn't had that stupid promise...if only he hadn't promised not to harm humans using his power...if only...If only he had broken his promise sooner...He would have been able to save her...But he hadn't...that's why he had lost his only family...He was useless...He did not even have the strength to protect her...Chowa's breaths hitched and his hands began to shake slightly...Taking a deep breath, Chowa began to close his eyes, putting the book on the table. 'Don't think of that, Chowa...it happened a long time ago...stop blaming yourself and pull yourself together, Chowa...you're a B-rank Dragon Slayer!...' Chowa opened his eyes, his shaking stopped and his eyes took on an indifferent look as his face set in an impassive mask...but inside, he was still pretty shaken...He hadn't prepared himself for a flashback like that. He rubbed his eyes tiredly...He couldn't read the book now even if he wanted to...He had to calm himself and let his mind rest first.

Looking up, Chowa was greeted with a familiar figure - The Guild Master - Loritova. He had known the man long before he joined the guild...and the man used to be the only connection with the human world that he had...if it was not for him, Chowa was sure that he would become a crazy serial killer or just a mindless zombie...He looked at Loritova like a father, an uncle and a guild master - someone who could guide him through his darkest hours and help him get up even after Chowa had given up. A faint smile escaped the teenager's lips, well...he guessed he wasn't alone after all. He had Draco Edge...even if he just only knew them for about three months, he had already felt a deep sense of connection with each of them, some were fainter than the others but it was there...

His eyes shifted slightly as he turned his head and looked at the members of the guild...suddenly, he found himself didn't mind their noisiness as much as before...after all, they were just having fun. This was a three-month anniversary after all... Chowa picked up his book and tucked it into his pocket carefully...well, he obviously couldn't read anymore...so why bother trying? He might just as well try to have some fun like Master Loritova had suggested days earlier...

The door opened and Chowa's attention changed again as he looked at a dirty Cassadin as he stroke into the guild, his clothes were covered in dirt...He had spent time in his garden...again. Chowa shook his head...at least he could have dusted it off or something...Well, it was sheer luck that Chowa had water element then, right? So he could shoot water out of his hands and clean up the other teen...He raised his hands but stopped himself at the last second...well, it would be rude of him to do so...He would just have to endure it...at least the teen was quiet...unlike his other teammate.

Oh yes, speaking of other teammate...where was Charlotte? Usually, she would be here right now, bickering with her eternal rival - Ana - He didn't hate both girls...he thought they were...self-motivated persons...but sometimes, their... enthusiasm got the better of them and each time like that, they tended to hurt his eardrums a little too much...It was quite annoying in some ways, but quite relaxing in some other ways...it gave him a sense of belonging...even if he did belong in a guild with many, many immature people...He gave a short wave and gestured Cassadin toward the empty chairs next to him, inviting the other teen to sit down.

And with that, Chowa looked at the new guy...He had strange hair and strange eyes...Chowa didn't see this one yesterday...maybe this was a new recruit?...It was a possibility...He didn't even bother turning his head as he whispered his question "...hey, who's that guy?..." Well, if Cassadin didn't take up his offer and sat somewhere else, he could always explain that it was his habit of talking out loud...He did have strange habits after all...Closing his eyes brieftly and reopened them after a minute or so, Chowa turned his head and looked at his side.

Theo Castille

During this time, Theo Castille was sitting on his neat bed, holding a black book in his hands. Flipping through the pages quickly, his blue eyes narrowed as he flipped to that page. Tomorrow was going to be the Mission Impossible event, and he had to brush up on his runic vocabulary. Glancing up slightly, he watched his door warily - it wouldn’t do for anyone to walk in and see him studying. It was so loud too… Theo almost felt like hiding under the covers and covering his ears with the pillow.

Turning his attention back to the book, he stared intently at the rune for Apple. It was a shorter runic passage with its thick-blocked letters. Fine, it wasn’t that useful, but there was no telling what kind of idiocy they would use when choosing the job - for Mission Impossible. Finally, Theo snapped the book shut and with his eyes furrowed in focus, started to trace it in the air.

First, it was a circle counterclockwise, with a horizontal slash going from left to right. After that came a repeated pattern of two almost squares, but rectangles - wider than they were tall. Connect them together with a wave pattern with a single crest before moving on. Now, it was going to get tricky. A perfectly equilateral triangle, before placing a circle carefully inside, making sure that it touched the lines exactly. Writing this one rune too quickly could lead to a mistake, as if the circle was smaller with a line directly through the middle, it became one of the runes that was used in Suffering. The last rune was relatively easy. Another circle, this one smaller than the one from the beginning, and then, a line connected to the bottom, written top to bottom, and then, finally another horizontal line.

There. All complete. He opened the book again and rifled through the pages. Thinking of what he just wrote, he gave another glance at the page, checking to see if he got it right.

β€œDarn.” he muttered to himself. The second-to-last rune had a thin rectangle at its bottom, which he had completely missed out on. He sighed, before closing the book to practice it just one more time. But it was just so loud outside, as so much of the guild was out there, causing a ruckus. β€˜Why was it so noisy today - oh, right, the three month anniversary of their guild… My guild.’

With a sigh, he carefully slid off his bed and hid his dictionary inside a drawer. His room was, as usual, extremely neat with everything placed where it ought to be. Most of his belongings were either black or white, with an air of cold sterility. Finally, he locked it, before slipping the silver key in his pocket. Checking to see if his clothing wasn’t too rumbled, Theo patted out the more obvious creases, before pushing his door open. To see Cassadin wearing a black button-up shirt, probably heading somewhere.

Quietly, Theo followed the similarly-aged fellow mage into the bar. If the noise was bad in his room, then it was infinitely worse here. Theo paused, before taking a glance at the library. Maybe he would go study there instead for now, or something. But still, the noise was far too horrible to allow him to concentrate. Was there somewhere that he could sit, away from the rest of his guild members? They were all so hard at work today - creating a mess, that is. As usual. Catching the sight of a out-of-the-way table, Theo sat down on a brown, wooden chair. Tapping one finger on the table thoughtfully, he pondered the idea of using the Silent spell on everyone nearby. Then, he would be able to concentrate.

He really would have, if only there was some way that he could justify the magic. There were too many mages of the A-rank, and even one of the S-rank mages around - and despite his confidence, silencing them was somewhat of a stupid idea. However, despite the inkling of respect, he crossed his arms in front of him, in preparation. Maybe he’d use it if someone had the gall to approach him and start prattling away.

Charlotte Leiss; The Bar

What made Draco Edge special? What was the shortest, simplest way to express all the reasons why a girl like Charlotte loved this magic guild? If one were to ask, her answer was most certainly…

β€œIt’s never boring,” she grinned, stretching as she sauntered into the guild. Already the festive mood was evident. Most of the others were already there, scattered about the wooden tables that made up the bar-space of the guild house. Conversations flooded the air with murmurs and laughter – everyone was ready to celebrate. Well they better have been. The guild master had been going on and on about the feast for days now… It was hard to believe that the guild had only been around for three months, and Charlotte a member for even less. She could hardly remember what life was like before joining… Well, that was an exaggeration. Her memory wasn’t that bad. It was just that rather than reminiscing in her former self, she would much rather remember that rush in her veins when the guild mark was stamped onto her skin – one of her most vivid memories.

That mark showed proudly, a dark red upon her paler skin, above the slope of her collar bone.

β€œNow, where are those two?” she murmured aloud, scanning the large hall for any sign of two specific people. She was looking for her teammates, Cassadin and Chowa, the other members of Team Bittersweet… a team about as random as the name. It couldn’t possibly be too difficult to find them, even in this cluttered crowd – after all, the former was almost always the one with dirt streaking his skin while the latter was the isolated one with long green hair. Really, how hard could they be to spot?

As Charlotte looked amongst her guildmates, a slightly smaller figure mimicked her motions from behind her. Two beady crimson eyes, brighter than the girl’s own, flashed as they caught the sunlight. This feminine form, clad in a cream jacket with hood pulled over a black disk for a face, was not human although it seemed to move as such. It had feline features from its clothes – enormous capped sleeves resembling clawless paws, cloth ears perched atop the hood – but the tail, it gently lashed about as if it were real. It wasn’t a human, but a doll, and there was a perfectly good explanation for its movement: Charlotte.

Everyone was used to the sight, the taller girl in her usual brown coat followed by the peculiar doll. Being the only doll play mage in the guild, Charlotte saw little point in hiding it. Some called it a careless use of magic, but she didn’t care what others thought of it. If she wanted to animate something, she was going to animate it. It’s not like anyone could stop her. β€˜And Eira’s my best friend…’ It seemed that an anniversary was just a day for reminiscing. She couldn’t stop the memories from surfacing. Memories of home… or what used to be her home. She laughed here, she ate here, she slept here, and she lived here – wasn’t that the definition of home?...

… She was unnerved by her own unfamiliar sentimentality.

Charlotte grimaced and stopped that line of thought right there. She’d come out to have some fun, not linger on the past. Seeing as she wasn’t quite in the mood for a quarrel quite yet, finding her teammates was her best bet. Not quite the social butterfly, she wasn’t all that comfortable with just everyone yet. β€œCass, Chowa, you there?” she called over the ruckus of the other people. Really, where were they? The guild wasn’t that large – were they ignoring her? Or were they just not there yet? And speaking of β€˜not there yet’, Charlotte realized exactly why things seemed a little too peaceful. It seemed that Anachayla was still on that oh-so-very-important mission of hers. No doubt the ice mage had taken it just to rub her the wrong way – Charlotte didn’t even know how this little animosity between them had started, but she did know that it was never, ever a pleasure to see that ice mage satisfied.

Fortunately, what Charlotte saw was a much more welcome face. β€œAnd he shows himself at last,” she mumbled before following the now-arriving Cassadin. As usual, he’d changed his clothes, but the flecks of dirt on his skin told her what he’d been doing until now. Well all the more power to him then – someone had to take care of the guild flowers. Better still, she also caught sight of a familiar shade of green. β€œThere you are,” she said with a grin, taking the seat across from Chowa – yes, she didn’t ask and yes, it was probably rude… but she only realized that after she had done it and it was too late now. Hopefully her teammates were used to it by now… β€œSullen as usual, I see,” she added. A teasing comment it may be, but she wore a smile rather than her usual smirk. She didn’t mean any real harm.

In the meantime, Eira had staggered to a nearby window seat, and with a flamboyant turn, slumped into the wooden chair, lifeless. However, its eyes still flashed in the sun’s warming rays.

Fumiko

Fumiko sighed. It had been only just less than a month since she had been here. She muttered to herself, "Let me think... It has been 24 days?" As she listened around the guild and picked up bits of conversations. She was sucking on a cherry lollypop. It was a little tart, but overall it was sweet. She then looked at her left shoulder. This was where she decided to put her mark on and Fumi then smiled. She remembered when she first came through the doors of this guild. As Fumiko was reminiscing she noticed that Akumu had stood up and was then looking at her.

Fumi then asked in a quiet voice, "Are you alright?". Fumi knew that Akumu had a sad past, but she was still one of her only friends. She then finished her lollypop and started to chew on the stick. She decided that she probably should go look at the job board. Before that Fumiko pulled out another lollypop. This time it was apple, unwrapped it, and started to suck on it. She then said to Akumu, "Would you like to look at the job board with me?"

Morien; Bar adjacent to the Job Board

The mage known as Morien Morningstar would resign his presence along one of the outer walls which overlooked the bar, to his immediate northwest lied the library, an institution which he was personally acquainted with from his tenure as a new recruit which wasn't all too long ago, as an incoming freshman of Draco Edge he had been known for his recluse lifestyle , not by choice of course. He was pro-social and very much enjoyed the company of others, he was just a very iron-willed personality, some would call him a bit of a perfectionist. Morien himself didn't think of himself as such, his magical aptitude was so atrocious that he had no choice but to spend all his time studying. Not only that but he he had to compete with those who had been formerly taught magic all their lives. For someone who had never used a magic spell since setting foot on Oshibana, this had been quite a remarkable feat.

Even now he still stood unsure of his abilities, he over-relied on his physical abilities and his proficiency in elemental type magic left much room for improvement. Yet, he stood absorbed in his own thoughts. His expression seemed to mirror much of the discontent taking place in his soul. Then as he seemed to succumb to the abyss known as self doubt , he would come-to by the words Guild Master Loritova. His voice had a tendency to stir morale in those needing encouragement. Such power, he thought.

A careful glance panned throughout much of the bar which had been decorated by the presences of many Draco Edge's finest and would-be mages looking to carve out their legend in the annals as one of Fiore's finest. Although most of members of Draco Edge were stand outs in one way or another , a few stood out even amongst the others. One such had been a woman who had been nearly twice his age but invited a distracting fantasy on more than one occasion, Morien tended to keep his thoughts well guarded in her presence. Another was Sotofu Katsu, a mage who had entered the guild around the same time as he. Although many sought to pit the two as rivals , he never thought of him as such. Sotofu possessed a raw talent that he did not. They were too dissimilar to be compared. Then there were his teamates, Akumi Hoshimi and Fumiko Gato. He gave wave toward their direction.

" Akumi Hoshimi, Fumiko Gato. There is something I need to speak to you guys-er girls about. " How do you feel about the name X-Calibur? as the name for our team. Also...

Cassadin

Cass made his way over to where his teammates, Charlotte and Chowa, were sitting, and took a seat at the table.

"Hello, how are you two doing today?" he asked pleasantly, fiddling with the black button on the end of his sleeve. He looked around the bar, and spotted Eira, Charlotte's doll, slumped down in a chair, it's crimson gaze almost meeting his. Cass almost swore it was staring at him, but he reassured himself that that was stupid. The doll had always creeped Cass out, but it definitely produced results in combat, and although it kind of scared him, it had a certain intrigue about it, like an untold story behind the cream-colored cloak.

"Oh, and Chowa, that's the new recruit, his name is Korderoy Lightbulb, or something like that." he said, hearing his green-haired teammate ask about the new mage a few moments earlier.

Chayton

Chayton stalked the brown beast, staying low to the ground, a razor-sharp Tomahawk in each hand. He had left with Mordecai earlier, and, in preparation for the three-month anniversary feast, they were tasked with hunting down the days meal. Chayton stopped dead in his tracks; he had slipped up in his thought and stepped on a large twig, alerting the beast to his presence. Without warning, the boar whirled around and charged at Chayton, intending to gore the mage with it's tusks. Chayton waited until the exact right time, and sidestepped the boar, lodging the axe into it's throat. The creature ran a ways further, and collapsed on the ground, writhing and kicking. Chayton slit the beast's throat with his knife, and marked a large triangle with a smaller circle inside with it's blood on it's side, as was customary in his village. He said a quick prayer, honoring the beast, and noting it's bravery, until his was approached by his teammate. He quickly finished cleaning his boar and smiled when Mordecai complimented him on his kill. He nodded, and began following the mage back to the guild house.

Elysia Avari Skylar

Chowa raised his head and looked at the person seating across him. When he saw a grinning Charlotte Leiss, he found himself instinctively smiling back. Flowers and sunshine sparkled, a picture of the horizon and a setting sun was promptly pasted behind them. Lost in each others eyes. Charlotte stared at her teammate's face. His emerald colored eyes and hair were a sight to see. Those long lashes and long hair and his Draco Edge tattoo on face, Chowa is unbelievably an eye-candy to the opposite gender's eyes. Charlotte is not exempted from this rule. Still beaming, Charlotte opened her mouth and spoke, "Still as handsome, I see."

*sighs*

Since the two were quite absorbed in their conversation, they had failed to see the arrival of their teammate. Cassadin Kayleth, who despite changing still had specks of dirt and evidence of his earlier activity painted in his face. Cassadin is always the kind and polite gentlemanly guy. Aside from being usually seen to tend to plants, the brown-haired and green-eyed man is well known for being a gentle soul. The three complete one of the well-known team in Draco Edge, Team Bittersweet.

She really can't comprehend how the team's name came to be, but now seeing their interactions instantly changed her mind. Staring at the bittersweet smile in Cassadin's face as he stared at the two, she can definitely now say that the name fits them just right.

There is a drama, not obviously spoken about but still present at them three. Letting out a wistful sigh, the white-haired teen hoped that Charlotte must decide who she liked more. Though she's not close with either of them, Elysia Avari, or Ely did not wish any of them to get hurt. It would be really a mess if.. if ever Charlotte continued to let this thing between them go longer than what is appropriate. Sure Charlotte is a pretty girl, and though she is loud and has amazing character still-

'Eep!!'

Elysia was suddenly and forcibly dragged out of her romantic bubble when she saw in her peripheral vision, a familiar man entering the bar. The sparkles and spotlight disappeared out of view and her eyes darted towards the whole room as she searched futilely for a place to hide. Still staring at the renowned Hunter Killer, Ely gulped. She didn't actually hated him, in fact Elysia deeply respects Chayton Ciqala. But there is something in him that truly scares the Sky Dragon Slayer.

She was about to leave and seek the confines of her room when she remembered the reason she had been staying at the bar. The master told them today was a celebration for the third month of the guild. Supposedly everyone was waiting for Chayton and Mordecai to come back. Being the active dreamer that she is, instead of focusing on her surroundings, Elysia found herself daydreaming without care.

She just can't help it, it was one of her hobbies and her mind just instantly forgets everything around her and focuses on different stories it can come up. She would usually imagine different scenarios with various members of the guild as the protagonists. More often than not the story is romance. Though she had actually cooked up a horror story between Chayton killing each one of them dragon slayers in the guild with a tomato. It had left her several sleepless nights and being more edgy whenever she crosses path with the older guy. She never ate tomato after that too.

Flushing at her very recent musing, Ely looked around and bowed her head afterwards. She really hoped that no one in the guild knew how to read minds. Charlotte, Cassadin and Chowa would surely kill her for her imagination. She also wished that the master would start soon with the festivities. She had been itching to go into her room, with the number of people here, she's having a hard time hearing the sound of the air around.

((Sorry but this post assumes that Chayton had already arrived at the guild together with Mordecai. I can wait to post again when they actually arrive at the guild. :] ))

Sotofu Katsu

Sotofu was having a ball reading another new novel that he snatched from the Draco Edge archives. It was an old tale based in another dimension, Edolas, where magic wasn't a common occurrence. Actually, in this world, magic was very limited and the king of Edolas took control of the magic source and greedily kept it all to himself. "Greedy jerkface." Sotofu oftentimes spoke aloud when reading tantalizing stories, he would simply get enthralled by the text, and man that was imminent. Anyways, he continued... He was at this part of story where a group had arrived in Edolas from Earthland, they were mages and couldn't believe that magic was so rare. They had actually just found out that Edolas was a parallel dimension to Earthland, since they stumbled upon their Edolas selves. The hero, Theorie, had just stumbled upon his parallel self and learned about Edolas itself.

(OOC: Like what I did there? ^^)

~Suddenly~ Sotofu's ear itched intensely. "Hmph, someone's talking about me again..." He hated that, just because he had various magic, including Disassemble and Gravity under his belt, people found the boy to be some sort of prodigy, nicknaming him 'The Rising Sun'. It was all just a tacky overlay of his actual diligence that his father coined so he could become famous. "Stupid Fairy Tail Mages..." Sotofu knew full well that not all Fairy Tail Mages were like his dad, but jeez, his dad was a man who loved money. Anyways~ Sotofu decided to bunny-ear the page he was on and put the book down. Looking up he noticed that Loritova was staring right at him, after roughly two seconds a large bead of sweat trickled down his face, he shrugged and gave Loritova that 'What did I do this time?' expression.

Their brief stare down ended with Loritova turning his attention to the entrance of Chayton and Mordecai. Sotofu eyed the men, he didn't particularly like either of the two, they were heavy carnivores... and Sotofu wasn't, in fact, Sotofu's nickname throughout the Guild was 'Tofu' for his odd obsession with tofu. "I sure hope we have more tofu for tonight..." He slumped a little while rubbing his tummy and walked over to sit next to his not-so-good-pal Theo, the epitome of a loner... or at least the spitting image of 'The Silent Guy', and man he hated that. Why couldn't Theo, his teammate, at least get along with Elysia, she was essentially a harmless butterfly... or a giant dragon... but the butterfly made much more sense. While these thoughts plagued his mind he approached the ever-so-quiet Theo. "Hey Theo, how are you today?" Sotofu tried to plaster a welcoming smile to emphasize that he was only here to check up on him.

Seibi Kikaijin

As he walked along side his teammate, Seibi felt the change in temperature as it began to rise as the sun neared its peak. Never being one who liked the heat, it was causing him some mild discomfort. But, seeing as how he couldn't be bothered to take his jacket off, he disregarded it as tolerable. Much unlike his partner. Out of the corner of his eye, he could see Ana as she fought with her clothing. She always seemed to have a problem dealing with high temperatures. He figured this was because of her Ice-Style Magic, or something relating to it, but he never really asked. Just then the wind picked up, blowing directly into his face. Instinctively, Seibi raised his right hand to shield his eyes from the breeze. Exposed to the sunlight, his rings gleamed a ray of sliver for a few seconds before he lowered the angle. Seeing the ring is the light brought back memories of when he first got them.

It was a nice day. The cool mid-winter breeze swepted through the trees, picking up all the fallen leaves that it could. Seibi, who had turned 17 the day prior, was on his way to meet up with his brother at the train station. When he got there, his brother handed him a box, inside was the two rings...

His train of thought is interupted as Ana shoved him lightly in the shoulder. Caught off-guard, he loses his balance slighty and has to skip a bit before regaining it. He resumes his pace, matching hers, as he listens to her talk. After she finished, he leaned his head back and stared up into the sky, something he always did when he was thinking. Yeah the mission was successful, but it didn't go as smoothly as Ana make it sound. The mission was originaly meant for a Three-man Team. The only reason the two of them were allowed to take it was because of Ana's hot-headed approach. During the actual mission they encounter a lot of, lets say 'hiccups', that could of been made easier if they had a third member. Back to the present, Seibi lowered his head as he answered. "Well, before we do anything outrageous, and death-likely, I vote we at least try to recruit another member to Team Ice-Breaker, okay?"

Before he can recieve an answer Ana was called over by, the ever-so friendly, Guild Flirt, Akio Kakudo. Seeing an oppirtunity to brag, Ana quickly went over to him. Sighing, he quickly followed after her muttering under his breath, "Let the gloating commense." He knew she would be like even before they finished the quest, he was just expecting her to start with her main rival, Charlotte. After all, their constant competitiveness was the reason they took the quest, and almost missed the guild anniversary, in the first place.

Shae Anne Ramine

(In front / outside of Draco Edge)

Shae looked up to see Akio running towards her, she smiled a bit. He had this tendency to call her Ann, which was fine - she supposed. It seemed a majority of the time while she was at the guild wherever she would go he would manage to bump into her, or find her. Unfortunately, he seemed to be very out of breath. "Maybe you need to lay off the flying for a while, you're getting out of shape." she teased, sticking out of tongue. "Are you okay?" Akio was a flirt, and went after many women it was true, but he was a decent guy and a good mage so one could overlook it. She then saw Sandra walk by and greet her, with a bow, and she had smiled and waved. Several other people followed after that, but those who stopped were Ana's group. Ana was a very determined mage, out to prove something whenever she got the chance. She reminded her of herself and she liked her - they never really talked however. She did always believe she needed to get over her boastfulness, the bragging wasn't a pretty thing, one needed to learn modesty. She wasn't going to be admired if she continued this way. She listened to her call Akio over, starting to go on and on about her team's mission. She gave a weak smile and stood up, greeting the others.

Seibi, was someone she always found to be interesting, he was a C rank mage but she was always fascinated by his abilities. When she really thought about it, she didn't remember having ever talked to him, though she had seen him - usually alone. "Hey Seibi." she said, walking up to him. It was funny to her how much everyone, younger than she towered over her, even Ana who was on the shorter side. Shae always had years knocked off her age in appearance beause of this. "You guys are missing the fun! Or well, I assume the fun, I had to come out here and take a breather from the insanity that is the guild." it might not have sounded nice, but she had such a look of admiration on her face. " Shae closed her eyes as the breeze swept her hair to the side, flowing in the wind. It was cool, which she loved, she had this thing for extreme temperatures, anything in between was just nice and soothing. "I would ask how your mission went but I think Ana has already taken care of that, and you don't look like you'd care to share."

Shae looked back to the guild, she really should be returning, at least if for a little bit, and then she would train, or something. Make use of the rest of her time, before the next day, 'Mission Impossible.' Secretive events were always exciting. Some things she had no control over, and those were the best - usually. Sometimes it was just a pain in the ass because you really wanted to know what was going on and you weren't used to not controlling things. "So what do you think the next event is going to be about? The mission, that is." She wondered, if she would even get an answer out of him, he seemed so...uninterested in everything. "Is there anything in this world you find interesting? Or is everything too dull for Seibi?" It wasn't really a question, because by then, she was heading back into the guild house, starting to sing again.

Roady Domene

"Roady. You're trying too hard! At this rate you're going to make it worse, you idiot." Raith scolded his young pupil.
"Damn it! I can't do it! Lets just leave it. Who's cares about a damn bird anyway. Nothing but little annoyances that keep me awake at night." Roady protested back to his master. This was quickly followed with a sharp smack to the back of his head. "What the hell was that for?!" Roady groaned, holding the back of his head.
"You really are an imecile, aren't you?" Raith shook his head from side to side.
"You'd be doing terrific if you had been trying to kill the bird. I figured that you would be able to handle a spell as simple as this, but it seems that you're too hard headed." Raith commented, while moving his hand over to the fallen bird. It's left wing was fractured and the pair just happened to wander by and notice it struggling. He then concentrated life energy into his palm, pushing it into the bird's body and making it flow into it's wing.
"Cure is a stupid spell. Why would I ever need that? As long as I'm strong enough to take down my enemies, healing magic is useless." Roady pouted and began walking off.
"Hold up there. And just where do you think you're going? We're not done with you're first lesson, brat!" Raith reached out his free hand grabbed the scruff of Roady's coat collar, pulling him back causing him to fall on his ass. "Stupid old man. Who do you think you are treating me like a little kid?! I'm already 14!" Roady got up and turned around to throw a punch at Raith, only to have his arm caught before it reached Raith's head.
"You truly are a hopeless child. Thats it. No eating today. You're going to spend extra time training while I eat and watch you." Raith turned and smiled, taunting Roady.
"What the hell?! You can't do that! I'll starve! And quit calling me a child, bastard!" Roady protested taking his arm back with a jerk.
"I hardly doubt that you'd starve from one day without food. I'd watch that tongue of yours as well. No girl's ever going to be interested in you that way." Raith chuckled at the thought. "Hmph. Like I give a crap what any girl thinks. I don't mind being by myself for the rest of my life, as long as I'm strong." Roady pouted, looking away once more. The next thing he heard were muffled, excited chirping noises. He turned around in surprise.
"Ah! It looks like it's all better now." Raith remarked, uncovering the bird, who immedeatly flew away with it newly fixed wing.
"You see Roady. Life can be found almost anywhere, whether it be in a bird or a human. Caliber magic isn't only used for destruction. People like us are able to take a little part of our own life and give it to someone or something else that needs it more. You can't always keep that greedy, self-centered attitude up. How about we start this lesson in sharing, by donating(sell) a few of your organs in the next town?!" Raith turned towards Roady, with a mischevious grin on his face.
"I guess I can kind of see what y-... Like hell! If you're so generous, then donate your own organs! Aren't you the one being greedy, asshole!" Roady charged at Raith, only to be held back by Raith arm's holding against Roady's head.
"Ahahahaha! You're so easy to tease. I was just kidding, runt! But believe me. Cure is sure to be a valuable spell in the future for you. And remember, p-Time to pay the rent, brat!" Roady awoke to the sound of the Innkeeper's voice. He then began knocking on the door.
"I only gave you a room before paying because you were wet from the rain! I sure hope you can pay up!" The inkeeper then began to knock harder.

(OOC Note: Roady has learned in the past that when Raith says the word "donate", he means "sell". He also didn't possess near the amount of physical strength he does now, until he turned around 15-1/2)

'Looks like its time to leave.' Roady thought to himself as he grabbed his bag and hung it over his shoulder and his fauchard, then walked over to the window. At this time, the Innkeeper opened the door, only to find an opened window and an empty room. "Damn that brat! Thats the last good deed I ever do." The Innkeeper rushed over to the window and searched the ground outside. "How did this kid drop from the 3rd floor without breaking a leg or something?!" The Innkeeper asked no one in particular. The truth was, that Roady had instead of jumping, skillfully walked along the rim of the window and climbed onto the roof. He then later traveled down the roof, onto he found a slope close enough to the ground for him to jump. As he did, several people in the crowded streets pointed in awe and confusion as he leapt from the building and onto a open space in the crowd. 'I guess I should start looking for that guild now.' He immedeatly thought, as he walked along the streets like nothing had happened at all.

"Someone stop that kid! He skipped out on paying for his room!" The portly Innkeeper was outside the front door and pointing at Roady at this time. He seemed to be panting heavily and sweating a little, indicating that he was running down the stairs. Roady could even make out a bump on the man's head, which was probably from losing his footing and falling down the stairs. The sight was almost laughable to Roady. He might have even made out a little chuckle, had a couple of patrol guards not shown up, peering in his direction. 'Dammit.' He though inwardly, dashing through the crowd, knocking a couple of people down as he rushed though. The guards were after him, but seemed to be having trouble with the citizens that were complaining about him knocking into them. They were trying to give the guards more resolve for catching him, but really they were only slowing them down. When the guards finally made it into an open clearing, Roady had already climbed over a front gate of some type of establishment, and had been lengthening himself alongside a wooden pillar that seemed to be holding a half of a sign. The guards searched for him, and went in a random direction, as he was out of sight.

Roady checked to make sure they were completely gone, and then let his guard down, walking out from behind the post. 'It looks like I'm out of the woods for now, but that wasen't exactly the closest call I've had involving a keep.' He let out a short yawn, and began stretching. "Bastards had to chase me first thing in the morning before I could at least stretch?" He sighed, completing his little routine. 'Why was I having a dream about Raith? Can I really not get that incedent out of my head?' Roady thought to himself. It had been 2 years since the dragon had attacked him and Raith. He apparently still hasn't gotten over it. "Well, lingering in the past never helps anything. I should get back to finding that guild. What was the name again...Dra-...Draco Edge..." Roady found himself subconsiously reading the sign that was in front of the gate. "Really? Am I here already?!" He exclaimed in surprise. Roady quickly turned to find a fairly large building behind him. He could see that there were a few people outside of the building. At least half of them seemed around his age. But the main portion of the guild was most likely inside. "Huh... I guess I'll go make my introduction then..." Roady half-heartidly said, cautiously approaching the building.

Chowa Kyoku - a corner of the bar section

β€œThere you are, Sullen as usual, I see,” Chowa raised an eyebrow as he observed a familiar figure taking a seat in front of him without even bother asking. Well, he supposed he had got used to her tactics by now...and besides, Chowa was never a man that cared much about those kinds of things. He studied her carefully. The girl with brown hair sitting in front of him was one of his teammates - Charlotte...And it seemed she was still as cheerful as usual. His lips twitched slightly like he was trying to suppress a smile and he answered, his voice was still carrying its usual hard edge "...good afternoon to you, too...Charlotte...you still seem as cheerful as I remember..." He barely gave any attention to her doll - Eira as it sat near the window, its red eyes staring straight at him...

His fingers automatically traced the wood patterns on the table as his mouth set into a thin line...Should he say something more? Well, he didn't really know what to say more...but the way she was looking at him...like she was expecting some kinds of reactions from him...Or was it just his imagination? But even if it was his imagination or not, he didn't care...And so, Chowa kept his silence and stared out of the window again...His mind wandered on its own as he thought about another use his power...He wondered if he could actually mold the shade of the water...Subconsciously trying to put his thoughts into actions, water began to seep out of his long, white sleeves and swirled like a small tornado around his index finger and twisted itself....'A box...a box...a box...' Chowa said mentally as the water began to have a shape of a small box...He could do this...he could...he just needed to concentrate...

"Hello, how are you two doing today?"

That was then Chowa's concentration broke...The teen stared at the bundle of water in front of him in disbelief...He had been so closed...He looked up to see who had disturbed him like that only to see another familiar face - Cassadin - the Lily of the Valley - his other teammate. Setting his face into a dark scold, Chowa touched the remain of his 'water box' with the tips of his fingers, absorbing it back into his body. Didn't even bother to answer Cassadin's question, Chowa sighed and tapped the wooden table, waiting for Kacie to bring him his black coffee...He hoped she had heard his order the first time...He hated repeating himself...

"Oh, and Chowa, that's the new recruit, his name is Korderoy Lightbulb, or something like that."

Chowa cocked his head to one side, his mouth twitched again...Lightbulb?...what a strange name....One hand traced the tattoo on his cheek and the other hand still tapping the table, Chowa silently comment, his voice was barely above a whisper and was nearly drowned because of the noise inside the bar "...Mister Lightbulb, huh?...It's certainly an...hmm...interesting name..."

Suddenly, his right hand stopped tapping the table and his left hand stopped tracing the tattoo...Chowa froze on his spot. He just had a very, very instinctive feeling like..."...Is Miss Elysia Avari Skylar...staring at us again?..." He asked, fear latched on his voice...He hated it...he hated this feeling...like he was being studied by thousands of screaming rapid teenager girls with seriously screwed-up sense of reality and imagination...He began to sweat a little...Could he excuse himself and go now?...Suddenly, he wanted to run as fast as he could to his room and hide in his blanket...This was exactly the feeling he had one year ago...when that herd of crazy fangirls chased him across the town for a whole five hours nonstop...what had he done to deserve this? Well, his teammates knew about this but...that didn't make it any better...Cassadin could sometime sympathize with him but as for Charlotte?...she would constantly tease him for sure...His imagination began to work as his hands trembled slightly.

"...Hahahahaha...The almighty Chowa is afraid of fangirls...hahahaha...I shall tell this news to the world...hahahaha...you will never be taken seriously again, handsome guy...muhahahahahaha!..." A familiar voice said as Chowa depressedly covered his ears and sat on a corner while Charlotte was dancing around him, laughing and poking him with a stick...even that doll, her doll, Eira was pointing at him and giggling helplessly...Everyone was laughing at him...No, this wasn't happening...this couldn't be happening...No...

"Eeps"

Chowa was forcibly pulled out of his nightmare by a squeak and he flinched violently...Had the girl decided he was a delicious piece of meat now? Oh god...no, no, no, no, no... Throwing his dignity out of the window, he whispered urgently to his teammates "...make her look away...make her look away...tell her...if she comes near me less than 1 meter...I will blast her out using my power..." He shivered and clenched his fists, fearing for his life...Please, whichever god he had offended before please forgive him...He had known his faults...'Don't punish me like this...don't punish me like this...' Chowa thought over and over again as some of the newer members of the guild looked at him oddly...God, this was so embarrassing and scary at the same time...He closed his eyes and began to count to ten, trying to calm his racing heart...This wasn't happening...And if it happened, he would blast her out of the window, then he would take his emergency suitcase and some money, then he would ask forgiveness from Master Lorivota...then he would rent a boat and sail to another country, then he would change his name and then he would....he would...

He flinched again as he heard some giggles...Apparently, his nervous face seemed to be cute for some girls...God helped him...Every magical mysterious force, please help him get through this...Trying hard not to run away and not looking at the source of his nervousness, Chowa muttered again "...get her to stop looking at me...I hate it..." He bit his lips, a sweat trickled down his forehead as he looked at several members of the guild came back through the door and he looked behind him...He was in a corner...There was no way out...maybe he could jump out of the window...then use his stealth to escape...What if they caught him...He needed a second plan...maybe a third plan...or forth...where was his '100 ways to escape crazy fangirls' book anyway?...

Charlotte Leiss; The Bar

Charlotte wasn’t a thoughtless person, but sometimes she forgot. No matter how much she loved the doll, Eira was creepy to some other people. Perhaps eerie was a better word… Eerie Eira. She was reminded of this by Cassadin – she could tell by the way he paused that he was, at least, momentarily unnerved by the lifeless, seated figure. While he settled into a chair at the table, Charlotte noticed Chowa to be distracted. Curious, she leaned over to see exactly why. For some reason, he seemed focused intently on his hands. β€œOho,” she murmured, raising her eyebrows in surprise when tendrils of water seeped from his sleeves. It was… well, it was a little too early to tell exactly what it was, but certainly something was happening –

β€œHow are you two doing today?”

… or not. Charlotte failed, or rather, didn't try hard enough to stifle a laugh at Chowa’s obvious frustration when the incomplete… thing… stopped moving. She brushed aside a loose strand of dark hair from her face and gave up trying to suppress her amusement. Grinning like a cat, she glanced at Cassadin and chimed, β€œAbout as well as any other day.” There was some truth to Chowa’s previous words – perhaps β€˜cheerful’ wasn’t quite the best way to put it, but Charlotte was indeed often smiling, or rather smirking. Usually it was at the β€˜harmless expense’ of someone else. Rather than 'cheerful', mirthful or entertained was probably a more fitting word. Just then, a particularly loud laugh echoed through the guild. Peering towards the bar counter, she was surprised to spotted unfamiliar face - not the source of the sound, but new faces were certainly eye-catching.

β€œOh, and Chowa, that’s the new recruit. His name is Korderoy Lightbulb or something like that," Cassadin said.

Even Chowa, usually so reserved with his opinions, found need to comment. β€œβ€¦Mister Lightbulb, huh?” His voice was so quiet that Charlotte almost missed it. β€œβ€¦ It’s certainly an… hmm… interesting name…”

Well, interesting was a mild way to put it. β€œHe’s making it so easy that it’s boring,” she sighed. Of course, by that, she meant teasing. Really, with a name like that, there was no fun in it. She just didn’t feel the urge to make an effort in trying. She was just making a mental note on his name and face when she heard something rather peculiar.

β€œβ€¦Is Miss Elysia Avari Skylar… staring at us again?” It was Chowa, and to Charlotte's surprise, he sounded rather anxious. It was a tone she rarely heard from him of all people – the expression was even rarer. Paling and starting to visibly tremble, Charlotte found herself at a bit of a loss for what to do. Just then, something must have happened because he flinched and set off into a desperate, whispered ramble. Make her look away, make her look away he repeated over and over. In all honesty, she found it rather hilarious that he was panicking over the interest of a thirteen year old girl. She never would have thought that being chased around by girls would be so traumatizing…

…She wanted to laugh.

Yes, Charlotte was an insensitive girl who found entertainment in the extreme reactions of others… It didn’t matter that Chowa was her teammate and that he and Cassadin were two of few that she was actually comfortable with. If anything, maybe it was because she was more comfortable with them that it was somehow amusing. In that way, she was just a little cruel… but she at least had the good sense not to show it. It was increasingly difficult when some other girls around were giggling - for different reasons, but giggling all the same.

β€œGet her to stop looking at me… I hate it…”

β€œJeez, calm down,” Charlotte said, scowling to bite back her smile. Looking briefly at the smaller white-haired girl, she told him, β€œShe’s not staring anymore. No need to get all shaken up on me…” She looked at Cassadin for some semblance of help – comforting others, to any degree, wasn’t exactly one of her stronger points.

Collectibles

By creating Collectibles, you can reward your players with unique items that accentuate their character sheets.

Once an Item has been created, it can be spawned in the IC using /spawn Item Name (case-sensitive, as usual) — this can be followed with /take Item Name to retrieve the item into the current character's inventory.

Mobs

Give your Universe life by adding a Mob, which are auto-replenishing NPCs your players can interact with. Useful for some quick hack-and-slash fun!

Mobs can be automated spawns, like rats and bats, or full-on NPCs complete with conversation menus. Use them to enhance your player experience!

No mobs have been created yet.

Spawns
