An important decision needs to be made that your character(s) have been avoiding for a long, long time. Journal or make a roleplay post about your character(s)' thought process, actions, reasons, etc.
My character
Luciana Morrison, or also known as Red Witch, in the Indie-Universe
Wicked. Villain reluctantly working with some heroes for survival, but slowly throughout the story she is/will be falling for a hero
I KNOW CLICHE BUT I LOVE IT! With this prompt, I'll be haivng her finally deciding to reveal her identity to the heroes, after spending time with her crush/date
Kieran Valanetti and even somehow being convinced to go on double dates, but none of the heroes knowing she is the infamous Red Witch.
Lucy had been thinking about this moment for awhile now, flipping her decision back and forth for the the first moment she found out that the girl she'd been seeing regularly was actually Malfyre, and even that was a fluke that was brought on by Atticus' boytoy, Paladin, letting too much information slip. But she knew it would be best to get it out there now rather than later, deal with the consequences of her actions now.
The only person that actually knew about what was going on between Lucy and Kieran was Piper Young, or her villain alias, Aboleth. It came up one wine filled night after watching the season finale of the latest season of Bachelor and for some reason Luciana let it out about her secret affair "with the enemy." She had been blowing off Kieran after finding out that she was Malfyre and knew it wasn't fair what she was doing to her. Luciana brought up the idea of just breaking it off with her leaving town after they dealt with their common enemy, if they didn't get killed along the way. But Piper told her how that wouldn't be fair for Kieran, as well as voicing her own concern about losing Luciana, one of her only friends in the city and how she would miss her. They ended the conversation there and Piper told Lucy she would be there again to talk but didn't want to push the conversation onto her. But the decision hung in her head for weeks, and made her more anxious for every meeting with the heroes.
Red Witch had gotten to the warehouse earlier than the planned meeting, she was up all night the night before. She had texted Piper the night before, telling her she was going to reveal her identity at the meeting to give her a heads up. She thought about letting Atticus know, but didn't want to bother her roommate with anymore worry that she'd cause already, giving him the excuse that she had some errands to run before the meeting. Luciana paced around the central room, trying to figure out all that she would say to the group. When she finally heard another set of foot prints she just sat down in a chair and put on her normal appearance of not caring, luckily her mask hiding her facial expressions.
The meeting went as smoothly as usual, probably a little bit more now that Red Witch wasn't insulting Artemis, someone she would usaully take every possbily moment to remind them they weren't a true hero and always needing to be baby sit. As the meeting was starting to close out Gemini asked if anyone else had anything to say, since they usually 'ran' most of these meetings. Red Witch kicked her feet off the table, announcing she did, and walked to the front of the room.
Standing infront of the others, Luciana let a sigh from under her mask, trying to compose her thoughts together. She looked over at Piper and saw her just smile and nod at her. "Well. We've been working together for awhile, and I still hate some of you in this room. But there's something that needs to be said..." She started before turning her back to the group. Luciana pulled the mask off her face and dropped it to the floor, it landing with a thud, and running her hands through her hair to make sure it was out of her face. "I'm..." Red Witch began talking, before slowly turning and revealing her face to the heroes in the room. "My name is Luciana Morrison..."
There were a couple audibly gasps in the room, as well as confusion on faces, like Atticus not knowing what the hell she was doing. A few people asked questions or demanded answers, but it all fell to silence as her eyes rested on the masked face of Malfyre. Kieran. For once Luciana was scared, not of dying or being locked up, but of what her reaction would be.
Sorry for day late, but here it is. Enjoyed doing this @mombie!!!
