I remember Gambit eating applepie! XDDD that was funny.

And now I finally realize that's why applepie was so familiar to me when I saw her again on AM chat. Gambit kept eatin' her in days looong before. and that sounds so wrong but whatever XD

I decided to finally say something after all this time. I first discovered GWC in 2000, when I was 15 years old. I didn't stay on much because we had limited-hour dial-up back then from AT&T. I didn't even fight, I let the rest of y'all handle that.

I remember several people. I remember Chrono, Umi, applepie, Gambit, and Dark_Wing, tho I dunno if I ever talked to corwin when he was there. And of course there were various renditions of Duo, Heero, and Quatre. Those had at least three different variations, each a different person xD. It was interesting when almost all of 'em were there.

The name I used is the very name I use on this and other places: Fluffy. Not sure if anyone would actually remember. If it helps, I dated Wufai online for a while that year.

"Veterans" are members of GundamWing.com, which was a precursor to this site. If you see anyone with a light purple name, it means that user has had that account since the very, very, very beginning of RolePlayGateway.com - even before it was RolePlayGateway.com, really.

The light purple username is a recommendation of their long-time dedication. Although most veterans are inactive these days, when coming across the name in archived forums, it still serves as a reminder.

Actually, GWC Veterans are those who were members of the site the original founders of roleplaygateway.com mostly roleplayed some years BEFORE this site (and gwing.net, which was this site's old name) even existed. It basically marks the fact that these people have been roleplaying for a VERY long time and not only helped to mould roleplay into what it is today, but also played a part in inspiring the founders of this site.

Many, of course, moved to this site after gundamwing.com was closed down and AnimeMetro (which was where a lot of people moved to after GWC's closure) started to become less and less roleplay-focused as a site.

Hopefully that helps to clear things up.

I used to use GW chatroom all the time before the registration act came in and we could change our names and make our own rooms, I used quite afew usernames
