Rise of The Titans

Rise of The Titans

0 INK

For centuries The Greek Gods have been silent, allowing both humans and other creatures to live their lives . Now the Titans have come forth, rising from their prison and taking forms of humans. The time to fight..is now.(Modern Day RP)

3,277 readers have visited Rise of The Titans since Demented created it.

Introduction

For centuries the Greek Gods have been in a deep sleep, a sleep that was created by Morpheus so that the Gods could be away from their human creations. Many centuries have passed while the Gods were in their dreamless slumbers, and now it is the year 2011.While resting, the ever waiting Titans have risen from the prison which once held them bound and have infiltrated the human world, taking the shape and size of human beings. The world has continued on as if nothing has happened, but the Titans cause pain and suffering wherever they may go, as punishment for the Gods creations. People die by The Titans hands, but more die by the hands of Cronus, Leader of the Titans.
Both he and his follower create tragedy and death even in their human forms. How can they be beaten without the Gods ? What hope does mankind have?
The Titans did not know that one minor God remained awake during all these years. Watching and waiting for the time when he would be forced to wake up his fellow Gods. Morpheus, God of dreams and the one who allowed the Gods their sleep. He has awoken them and now they meet on Olympus.
The Time to strike is now. The Time to end this war....and finish the fighting.
You may choose your side. Be a God and fight for mankind, or be a Titan and fight to end the human existence.
Remember, all choices have a consequence...and you cannot go back.

Alrighty! So basically I made this rp because I love greek mythology! It's a classic Titans Vs Gods sort of Role-play but I decided to make it modern. If you play as a God/Goddess your not going to be wearing those robes all the time. You will have a human form much like the Titans. The only difference is when you're in your God form you become a bit taller and let it a light glow that can burn a humans eyes. So when traveling around the city I recommend human form XD. It's the same characters (though you can make a human if you really want, but I kind of need the God/Titan positions filled up first. You can always have both a human AND a God/Titan.
The Setting is L.A. where the Gods have set up their own kind of Olympus in a large mansion.
Titans also live in L.A. but they live up in an suite in a hotel.
So everybody have fun, don't be mean, and no there are no vampires here. Satyrs, and nymphs....well pm me first..XD

(Roleplay has started! We still need a couple Gods/Titans but if your not interested you can make other characters. Feel free to lurk if you just want to read:).)

Coeus didn't struggle when Hades men took him.He watched as Persephone eyes widened in horror as the mans blood shot onto her pale face."YOU SEE WHAT YOUR HUSBAND IS! He is DEATH. YOU ARE SLOWLY WILTING SPRINGTIME GODDESS, WILTING FROM HADES TOUCH! REMEMBER THAT!" He called after her in an almost psychotic voice.

Coeus began laughing, an almost uncontrollable laugh that forced his whole body to tremble."Look at how you speak to your wife. How long do you think after tonight she will stay with you. A month? A year maybe....shes the kind lovely woman that would stay with a fuck like you just because of marriage." As he spoke one of the henchman punched him across the face, causing a small amount of blood to spill out of his nose.

"Hit all you fucking like you worthless little mortal. I did what needed to be done. I have started something that you will lose Hades. First this war that will start after you kill me, then that pretty little bitch that you call a wife." He smiled as he looked up at Hades, blood dribbling down his cheek and into his mouth. He moved his head to the left and spat both blood and saliva on the ground.

"Zeus....I think will most pleased to have found out his older brother caused such a thing, over a man merely mocking in front of his wife. I do wish I would be alive to see it.."

His cold brown eyes moved up towards Hades face and he then whispered."The Fates have already decided about how this ends. Your just another pawn on the chessboard Hades. So checkmate already and let us end this..."

Coeus had a very long and very...well no it wasn't a very meaningful life. He had been in love with a woman who had not loved him back. He was awful at simple mortal things, he never had a great relationship with his brothers or father. The least he could was to help with the war, and easy way to start it. Instigating was something he was rather good at.

"What is it? Don't give me that shit, I could see the "sudden thunderstorm" from here. I also just heard the "monster man" howl at the full moon at the same time and you expect me to believe thats a coincidence? Gimmie answers, I know somethings up." No beating around the bush, Ares wanted information immediatetly and every word he uttered conveyed that.

"Wendy, it's good to see you again!"

As Gregor stepped into one of the many offices at LA City Hall, he greeted an old friend of his: Wendy Greuel, now City Controller of Los Angeles. The two went way back, specifically to 1993 when she was part of the staff of the Clinton Administration, and then Representative Hanson had been instrumental in gaining House support for economic stimulus packages based on her recommendations. Since then, the two had long kept in contact, even after Gregor left Washington in 2002.

To Iapetus, all of this had been irrelevant: It was merely the way one obtained friends in high places and got into a position where they could exchange services for one another. Although he had always made sure to be polite and never let that aspect shine through - after all, the woman only had a few more decades to live anyway...

"The same Gregor," Wendy said, with a mild look of amusement of her face "after all it's been a few months since we last spoke face to face. To what do I owe the pleasure of your visit?"

Iapetus, feigned being hurt by the remark. That's how it always was, in politics and death: Back and forth, parry and thrust, although Iapetus had always won in the end. "Wendy, now is that any way to treat an old friend? I could just be stopping by to talk... Ah, but you've seen right through me."

Gregor leaned in closer and in jest waved his right index finger at Wendy, as if he was lecturing her.

"Word of advice, never get into politics!"

Wendy laughed, and Gregor gave her a bit of time before continuing.

"Now I know this is unusual, but I need you to spread the word that i'm going to be organizing a town hall meeting at UCLA by the end of the week. Recent events have made me want to get back into politics, retirement or not! I'd like to arrange it myself but..."

Gregor awkwardly stepped back a bit and almost fell into a chair.

"I've been out of the game too long. I don't know anyone in the current climate, and I'm certainly not the most up to date on the technological advances needed to broadcast this thing out to the public. I assure you that this is of the utmost importance, and that if everything goes well..."

At this point, a number of police sirens went off. Both figures in the office looked outside and saw cars racing through the streets. Wendy then turned to Gregor and said:

"Gregor, you wouldn't have anything to do with this would you?"

And, with an element of sadness that cut through to the Titan inside, Gregor said:

"It's about a friend of mine... he accidentally managed to annoy the wrong people, and I want to make sure that by the time I head to my grave, no one else has to worry about them. I'll send you an email about it later, but I think I have to go and attend a funeral."

Mason had been frowning for a couple of minutes, jerking his head back and forth. "Don't expect anything from my voice among the Titans," he said soberly. "Even my brother doesn't listen to me on a regular basis. There's no way I could get them all to even try to be peaceful-"

Something shifted in the air, and Prometheus flashed into existence for a second before returning to his human form. "Damn," he growled, looking outside. There was nothing big, just a couple of harpies. They were flying away quickly, obviously scared of him. 'Damn it,' he thought, '...no, this is a good thing.'

"Goddess of strategy," he said, evil grin growing on his face, "I just got a wicked idea."

He told her quickly, hardly pausing to speak to the waiter. Mason described his plan to work as a double agent. He'd act as if he were coming to the gods with information and funnle real info back to the titans...or so Iapetus would believe. He'd really be helping the Olympians, of course, but if he could just pull this off...

"It's risky as hell," he said, ducking down so any more harpies that saw him would believe he was avoiding them. "But it could work. I'll need help, though."

Hades – Dmitri Ruslan

Giovanni’s Italian Ristorante

Dmitri shouted to his men, "Put his ass on the floor; at my fucking feet!" The whites of his eyes were shining as he watched his henchmen pin Coeus to the kitchen floor like a star. The mafia boss stepped over him, striding toward the counter as cooks ran out the back of the restaurant. He drew from a wooden knife holder a fish knife, and strode back over to Coeus, glaring down at him as a sadistic grin drew back his lips.

"You started the war when you decided to go near my wife," Dmitri hissed. He then got down on his knees and swung that knife down with a thunk against Daniel's fingers. Several more thuds followed like a knife upon a cutting board as Dmitri severed his digits and then his arms.

The mafia boss gazed down upon Daniel, his second suit of the day ruined. He lowered his knife to allow him to suffer and writhe in his own blood and pain for awhile. Not too quickly now.

"Give my regards to the poor saps in Tartarus," Dmitri spoke. He turned the knife sideways in his hands as it began to elongate. The hilt stretched in a long, curved pole and the blade thickened and curved like the mandible of a mantis.

Dmitri's clothes erupted in a black torrent of wisps as an obsidian, burning cape unfurled behind him. In a dark mass, the God of the Underworld was knelt above the Titan, wielding the scythe of Thanatos. The floor beneath his feet began to peel and crack as the kitchen was sapped of its cleanly and brand-new condition. The counters splintered, the light bulbs popped and rained glass upon the floor.

As the glittering shards tumbled like crystals between he and Coeus, the kitchen began to fall into a curtain of darkness. The god's scythe was drawn back and then was sent swiftly gliding between the Titan's legs and up past his skull.

The police arrived in five minutes time, surrounding the restaurant as they had received a report about there being gunshots. What they saw instead was an old, shack of a building, appearing as though it had been standing for several years. The windows were shattering and the foundations released a low groan before the restaurant collapsed like an old man into a dusty heap. The God of the Underworld and his minions were not found.

Anette looked back up from her menu and listened to what Mason had to say about how the Titans treated him. Sympathy washed over Anette's face as she instantly felt sorry for him, "I'm sorry to hear that Mason, I didn't know....", she replied back while patting his hand gently with hers. Her hand felt so soft against his that it almost felt like she caressed it. She giggled softly when he mistook her for the goddess of strategy, "I'm only the goddess of love, silly", she said correcting him with a small giggle.

The harpies were annoying the hell out of Anette as she tried her best to listen to what he had to say. Mason flashed out of existence leaving Anette's hair blown gracefully by it before he came back into his human form. A plan to take the Titans down when he was a Titan himself? That would be barbaric on his part to the Titans but Anette didn't care. She was desperate to have a plan that would start helping silence the war.

She leaned over more, making her cleavage come more into view and on display, "So your a double agent, huh? I should have known the way you acted towards me; it said it all", she said giving him her sexiest grin. Anette perked her ears when Mason said he had a "wicked" idea and that he needed her help, "Alright but this has to be between us and no one else. If word gets out, all hell will break loose", she warned, fearing that if their plan didn't work the war would continue on like it was a norm.

"Tell me what to do, Mason. Tell me how to do it right....", she added, looking into his eyes attentively, wanting to know the deal at hand. The waiter finally came back with their glasses of water and set them down on the table. The both of them suddenly fell silent, "Here you go, fresh glasses of water. Would the lovely couple like to begin their order?", he asked them politely, thinking that they were together.

Anette's cheeks flushed a crimson red as she tried to get her bearings, "We're not a couple, we're just friends. We do want to begin our orders though", she replied a little nervous while the waiter looked stunned and then apologetically said sorry to them. She began telling her order and how she wanted prepared, "Okay Miss and you Sir?", he then asked Mason as he wrote down Anette's order.

Zeus – Brandon Stone

Olympia (Electric Company)

Brandon's eyes narrowed and he pouted like an angry child as he heard Ares scold him. He walked over to his office door and closed it once more so he could talk in peace. "It was Prometheus under the guise of a marine called Mason Swagger. He came into my office trying to make a deal I'd only expect Hades to contrive..." He didn't go into further detail about it. "Regardless, I turned him down. The Titans are becoming restless. They're just waiting for an excuse to go to war with us. I don't want anyone making any moves. If they provoke you, run. If they fight you, then that will mark the beginning of the war. Fight back and win!"

Brandon gazed out his window at the city. Time was flying much quicker than it did in the heavens. The city though born from stolen magic was beautiful, but he knew that nature was just as beautiful, and the humans had low regard for it. Frowning sternly as his voice became low and solemn, his father was no longer joking. "I must warn you and your Uncle Hades about your attitudes. You must not get carried away. I can't afford either of you jeopardizing our family. Peace will remain for as long as no one fights. Do you understand, Ares?"

Speaking of Hades, he thought about calling Dmitri to give him the same talk he had given his son. As soon as that thought passed through his mind, a sudden chill passed down his spine and sapped the breath right from his lips. At that moment, Brandon's eyes enlarged and his body shook briefly in a spasm of fear. A Titan had just died. The astonishment had nearly made him drop his phone.

"Hades..." Brandon whispered weakly. "What have you done?" His eyes began to crackle as storm clouds once again began to mass. His dark-brown hair flickered white, and the god screamed in his fury, a cry that shattered the window of his office as his voice boomed as thunder across L.A., "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?"

Cynthia jumped to her feet when she saw her boss burst through his office doors with suitcase and cell phone in hand. "S-Sir?" Cynthia queried. "Leaving already?"

"I must go. There's an emergency."

She watched him leave into the elevator and she called, "All right, Sir. I'll cover the office!" Her eyes then drifted over to the gaping office doors and the breeze that was rolling through them. She leaned across her desk to see that his office window was shattered, and the storm had returned. What the hell was going on?

When the elevator doors closed, Brandon exclaimed urgently to Ares, "Find your sisters and get them safely to the manor at once! I must go now. I have to call Hermes." Without any further delay, he speed dialed the messenger god. "Hello? Hermes? Where are you? I need everyone back at the manor. There needs to be a meeting and accountability; and also find Hades. Find him and say that Zeus has ordered for him to show, and if he refuses, he will see my wrath!"

Bing!

The elevator opened and Brandon tucked the Droid away as he stormed across the lobby. Mr. Jung watched in shock his boss leave. The look on his face gave him chills. "Have a good day, Sir!" he called weakly as the businessman left.

"Brandon" informed his son that it was in fact Prometheus who provoked the storm, That figures, he thought. Ares was well aware of their history together. Zeus also instructed not to do anything, even run if they were to provoke him! But the god of war could only laugh when his father said to fight and win if worse comes to worse, "I have no intention of losing," pride emanated from his voice.

"I must warn you and your Uncle Hades about your attitudes," he continued. "You must not get carried away. I can't afford either of you jeopardizing our family. Peace will remain for as long as no one fights. Do you understand, Ares?"

Oh, he understood, he just didn't care, but before he could protest a wave swept over him much like Typhon's cry from earlier, followed by a boom from his phone, Zeus asking a rhetorical question which led to his own, "What the hell is it now?" Seconds went by as Ares called repeatedly for his father once more, when the thunder god finally did answer he hastily exclaimed instructions to summon his sisters to their private manor and hung-up without letting his son get in another word.

As much as he hated taking orders from him, out of mere concern for the well being of his brethren, though pestering as they can be. Gather his sisters? There so many though... however he knew Zeus meant the ones here in L.A., but needed to prioritize which one to pick up first. Athena and Artemis could handle themselves best, which left Aphrodite...

He dialed her cell number, knowing that she was more than likely not at home at this time of day; he also knew that his caller ID would alert her of its urgency as he never called anyone if there wasn't severe news.

_________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

A sensation that had nothing to do with his current activity swept over him, making him pause for a moment. "Coeus..." he murmured.

Another smile crept upon his filthy lips, "Finally."

The war had begun.

No, resumed.

Athena had reached the manor and began emptying her vehicle. She carefully held onto the pile of Philosophy books as she shut the car door, pressing a red button on her set of keys to turn the car alarm on. Her right ear ached. According to mortal superstition..that means someone is talking about me.. she mentally noted then balanced the books steadily as she opened Pegasus Manor's door. She breathed out a relieved sigh. It was good to be home after a long morning at college. She closed her eyes as she resumed God-like form.

Her eyes glistened hazel and long strands of curled brunette hair grew, soft as silk to the touch. She swished her head back so her hair flung up to the air then back down again in an orderly fashion. "That is much better.." she said to herself, still carrying her textbooks. She walked down the hallway for her labelled room, looking up at the nameplate. It read Athena and had her symbols of the aegis, distaff and a spear surrounding it. She pushed the door open as it revealed her sanctuary. Completely organised and spotless. Just the way she liked it. She strode over to her bookshelf and placed her Philosophy books upon the highest shelf which would have been a very difficult task in mortal form since she can't have reached it. She laid down on her bed, closing her eyes. Afterwards she had to head to work but a minute or two couldn't hurt right?

"That will be ten dollars exactly please." The clang of a cash register opening and buttons being smashed by a pudgy finger ran around in Dionysus's ear. Or rather Mark's ear as he referred to himself in human form.

"Seriously bro? Ten dollars for some candy and cracker jacks? This economy is bullshit."The slightly chubby cashier raised a caterpillar looking eyebrow in Mark's direction as he ranted on about the price of things. This continued on for several minutes until Mark finally took a deep breath and walked out of the convenient store, carrying his bag of goodies.

He had noticed the rather strange looking dark clouds that had formed outside and had merely assumed that it was from his Dad and Mom having an argument again. Probably concerning his Dad's"working after hours" lie that he had often told his wife to get her off his back. At least that's what he thought it was all about until he saw one of Hades cars speeding across traffic and almost causing a huge accident by running a red light.

Mark rolled his eyes and glanced around and then noticing that there weren't many people around him, closed his eyes and popped into Hades car. He suspected to have found a very angry God of the Underworld inside but instead all he found was an attractive springtime Goddess looking both close to tears and both close to killing someone.

"Well it's interesting to see you too Persephone, would you perhaps like a Snicker? Baby Ruth? Some Cracker Jack's perhaps?" He patted the plastic bag filled with snacks gently and grinned towards her. The smile quickly faded when a shiver went down his spine."Alright, what Titan died right now and why do you look so...OH FUCK! Who did you kill?" His mouth dropped slightly and then he shook his head, his blond shaggy hair moving around wildly and looking a mess.

"No...you would never kill anyone....oh shit. Hades's has done it this time ha! Zeus is going to be sooooooooo pissed. You better start looking for a new husband hun." He gave a small poke on her shoulder and grinned." I of course will bravely volunteer for the position. IF Hades dies, otherwise I'm staying clear from that fucking homicidal man of yours.

He continued jabbering on to Persephone while begging to stretch back in the car, admiring the leather and then snapping out of it."You realize your husband is royally fucked right? Killing a human, no big deal, kill a Titan. Welcome to Fuckville and Zeus is the mayor."

Prometheus took a good, loooong look at Anette. 'Goddess...' he thought, 'of love...not strategy...wait what the hell?'

"Well damn," Mason muttered, standing and blacking both himself and Anette out from the world around them. They'd still be there to mortals, just moving slowly, talking blandly. "I'd like to take a second to apologize for the misunderstanding," Mason said politely. "I honestly thought you were Athena. Totally my idiocy. Hanging out with the humans must be screwing with my mind or something. Anyway, I need someone who's voice carries logic or at least strategy on a legendary basis. If you can still help, epic, if not, please point me in Athena's direction."

It was rude as hell and probably was bound to strike a nerve or ten, but Prometheus was serious. He needed Athena to speak for him, or at least speak his information with wisdom. Who better? Mason now realized that he needed Athena, Ares, Poseiden, and Hades on his side before he really made himself public with his intentions again. With both of his brothers and two of his children, both warriors no less, Zeus would have no choice but to listen to reason and logic or be tagged as a prideful fool.

Anette laughed lightly when he said sorry about the mix up between her and her sister Athena, "It's quite alright. Times can be stressful and it can make your mind be scattered all over the place", she replied reassuringly. Then Mason blackened them out so they were left alone from mortals who might be listening to their conversation.

Before she and Mason tuned themselves out from the world, Anette heard thunder that came from above the bistro. She immediately made a connection with her father and knew that something wrong was up, "I wonder what he's so infuriated about now?", she thought, feeling a little uneasy.

Anette continued to listen attentively at what Mason had to say, "I'll try to ask Athena for extra help but I think I'm good for the job too. I have my ways with manipulation, you know", she said while nodding her head in approval to her own citation about herself.

One thing was for sure, Anette wanted in with helping stop the war and she wasn't going to sit back and do nothing about it. Anette and Mason needed all the help that they could get and she agreed to bring her sister Athena into the situation....that is if she wasn't pro with the war and/or she felt highly wary about Prometheus, who was still a Titan.

Anette smoothed her silky blond hair back; nerves a little on edge when she heard her sliver touch-screen phone go off by vibrating, "I wonder who can that be?", she murmured before reaching in her bag for her phone. She looked at the screen and saw Ares' picture on it with a sign saying "urgent" at the bottom of it, "Hold on a minute Mason while I take this call", she said to him calmly.

She answered the phone quickly and put it to her ear, "Yes, what seems to be the problem Ares?", she asked him sounding worried but had a cool tone to her voice.

His expression was in a deep frown, not that anyone was there to see it. He spoke to her in a composed but thoroughly serious tone, "Aphrodite? Listen very carfully. Shit has officially hit the fan; Hades just killed a Titan, the war is on."

He waited a few seonds for the information to sink in before continuing, "Where are you? I need to take you, Athena, and Artimis back to Pagasus Manor. Call them, tell them whats happened and stay put until I get you. Do you understand?"

He awaited her answer.

A swift chill passed through Hera's bones, causing her to shiver and then freeze in surprise. An Immortal had perished at the hands of another Immortal."Not at all good."She mumbled quietly under her breath while the human male, or rather her new boss continued going on about what she was expected to do in her new job. She tried her best to look interested in what the man said, but the soft glaze over her royal blue eyes must have given her away because he said quietly."Sorry! I tend to get carried away with the minor details. Just take my card and call me tomorrow morning and we can figure out the rest. Ciao for now my darling! Get some beauty sleep!" The man quickly gave her an air kiss, something Hera found both awkward and alarming and managed to back away from without offending the man.

"How flamboyant and...oh never mind, time to head home I suppose and find out what in Styx this is all about."Hera's eyes seemed to narrow as she suddenly remembered she had walked here, due to pure curiosity at seeing how humans could live without having powers. She had come to a realization about not having powers. It sucked. Hera closed her eyes and waved her hand once in front of her, causing an almost foggy view to surround both her and the mortals(though mortals really wouldn't see anything.). She smiled when the fog dispersed and there sat a Mercedes Guardian, usually the choice of drug lords and such but she decided that in case the Titans did attack, it might be good to have a fire retardant car in hand.

The car was actually colored much like a peacock, blue being the main color with bright greens scattered and splotched across the vehicle."Perfecto!" She said clasping her silky cream colored hands together and rubbing them excitedly. She hopped into the car and simply pushed one button, putting it into a auto drive that would send her straight to Pegasus Manor.

Several red lights, annoying large trucks, and pedestrian crossings later Hera arrived in front of the Manor, practically jumping out of the car and towards the front door. As soon as she entered through the large white door she shivered once more and the human form was no more."Much better..."She said after patting her now curly hair and moving to look for any other Gods."Athena! Are you there? I must speak with you now please."

They would need the Goddess of Wisdom, for their bright days of fun and overall frivolous living were over. No more games and no more pretending to be all human.

This was War.

Persephone looked down at the leather seats, and her pale fingers began moving softly as if caressing it." "YOU SEE WHAT YOUR HUSBAND IS! He is DEATH. YOU ARE SLOWLY WILTING SPRINGTIME GODDESS, WILTING FROM HADES TOUCH! REMEMBER THAT!". The words Coeus had called out to her before Hades killed him were replaying over and over again in her mind.

She knew Hades was only did anything to protect her, but the fact of the matter was the Titan had done nothing but mocked him. Was killing worth it? Worth perhaps now sacrificing the lives of both Persephone's and Hades family worth it?

She let out a small tired sigh and then carefully wiped a small tear from her now misty green eyes. She didn't have much time to herself due to the rather loud and energetic entrance Dionysus created as he appeared inside the car. She jumped up in the car, hitting her head sharply against the ceiling."Ow Dionysus please be more...actually be less energetic and sneaky when entering someone vehicle!"

She listened as he spoke to her, rolling her eyes every time her swore and then letting her mouth drop when he said." "No...you would never kill anyone....oh shit. Hades's has done it this time ha! Zeus is going to be sooooooooo pissed. You better start looking for a new husband hun."Persephone crossed her arms and then her right leg over her left.

"You do realize my husband just killed a Titan because he got too friendly with me right? Do you really think he would care whether you're a God or not Mark?" She had been used to his flirty demeanor and had thought nothing of it, too infatuated with her husband to even think about another man.

Hades didn't care about that at all. It didn't matter if SHE cared, it mattered that any man had disrespected him in such a way as going after his wife."Look were almost to the Manor, do you think my mother and the others are here?"
She had hoped they were, because she didn't want to be by herself right now.

"Adrik, I need your help with the car." Hermaine averted eye contact with her older brother in embarassment. "Well you see, it's been 200 maybe even 300 years since I drove a vehicle and when I tried to drive Jeffre- the car, I almost cut off a family crossing the street." Her hands animatedly flew around telling the story, just for emphasis she drew out a sharp breath through her teeth for the 'Kapow!' of what would happen if there was a crash. She watched as her brother began to vibrate, his whole body shaking into a laugh. Hermaine's face flushed blotching a light red over her light complexion, "I double parked a few blocks down. I'm sure our spare change combined won't pay the ticket."

A handful of the crowd that mingled near the shops took a few questioning glances at the pair, some small children applauded at Hermaine's brief mime trick. "Mortals." She hissed under her breath and grabbed the hem of Adrik's shirt, pulling him to her car. Wanting to get out of the secluded area, she instinctively walked faster. Mortals rushing to another destination seemed relatively slow in comparison to the Goddess of Travel delivering messages for the impatient Ares. He was the last person Hermaine wanted to ever deliver anything for, especially if the contents were fragile. Then there was Athena and her scrolls for future modeling, the sketches seemed too unrealistic to most of the builders so they sent it back, such a pity.

She looked back at Adrik's protest to slow down, without missing a beat she sped up only slowing to dodge the crowd. The Bugatti's clean white coat sparkled among the other cars. "I can't drive this beast, it's too modernized for my liking." Out of the corner of her eyes she watched Adrik inspect the car, answering his question with as little detail so his suspicion wouldn't rise, but with her share of lies in the past she doubts he would at all believe them. Hermaine slipped in to the passenger side resting her bag on her lap, "Oh, the keys are here. The huge black one is to go in that area, see it?" Her voice was filled with pure intentions, she forgot that he was up to date with the century.

"We're going to the usual place tonight for dinner, Au Pain. I would have walked instead but Anette's little joke in signing me up for ballet classes almost paralyzed my legs." So much for the Goddess of Love, ever since Hermes was turned by Anette she would do these small pranks by signing Hermaine for art classes, or blind dates, or Host Club memberships under false info. The tricks toned down after Hermaine was banned from the whole city of New York, forcing her to reside in California. "Are you even legal to drive?" She remembered those times Adrik convinced her to go clubbing with him and in almost every club they told him that the license was a fake, and he looked to be around 17. Adrik insisted he was at the legal age but they still didn't budge, so we had to sneak at the back.

"Hermaine at your command, May I serve ye?" Hermaine's light-hearted tone took an edge as she listened to her Father's hurried message.'Find Hades and tell him, no he wouldn't listen, force him to show at the manor was nothing.' Hermaine reassured the herald messenger will get the task done Zeus only to be cut off with another warning before he hung up. The sky shaded them from the sun's radiant rays and that was when they looked up to notice Father's rage, thunder crackled slightly like they were serpents about to attack. "Adrik pull over, dinner's going to be cancelled." The Bugatti swerved into double parking, if Zeus meant business then [i]Hermaine was going to have to leave for a while. The windows rolled down as she got out of her passenger's seat, "That was Father on the phone, he wants you to go to Pegasus Manor now. I'm not sure about the other's, but I know you won't be alone there."

Hermaine stretched her arms just like she would before the Olympic Games. There was a flash of brown in her eyes, Hermes was slowly seeping out of every pore despite the feminine physique. She flashed a sly grin, in the second Adrik blinked only her after image was left, "Let's play a game with Hades."

Hades – Dmitri Ruslan

Private Fourth Floor – Madame’s Strip Bar (Brothel)

The room was dark, lit only by a few florescent lamps tinged lightly in blue. There were two black, leather couches surrounding a glass table covered in wrinkled bills, ash trays, trays for snuffing lines, and other miscellaneous items. Two chairs, the same material as the couch, flanked the ends of either side of the table, creating a spot for eight men to sit in conference while four others stood, leaning against the edges of the couch.

There was a thick cloud of smoke between them all as the men sitting around the table were either smoking or drinking. The odd one of the bunch was a creature that sat across from Dmitri. Its orange skin sagged, hanging of its bones like soaked cloth. Its nostrils were slit like a reptile’s, and it sat on the couch like one of the guys. Its short-legs caused its feet to hang off the edge of the couch with its slender and smooth tail twisting and whipping between them. Pinched in its lizard-like jaws was a white cigarette that it dragged on, causing the paper to incinerate as smoke leaked in stacks from its nostrils.

Despite the disappointing events that had occurred moments ago and despite what might have transpired in result, Dmitri was still a mafia boss, and he still had matters to carry out. However, with Coeus’s death, he knew the war between the gods and the Titans had officially started. Zeus might have sought its prevention, but Hades knew the war was inevitable. The fool’s death had allowed him to commence the execution of “certain plans” he had written long before its start. He knew that the Titans were going to provoke the gods into the war. That was avoidable.

“Έχετε το χάρτη;” Dmitri questioned.

The maw of the creature that sat before the boss twisted impishly at his question. His tail flicked back and forth like a whip as his sickly-yellow eyes darted to the man next to him. His three-clawed hand struck the man gently as he hissed, “Δείξτε του.”

The henchman sitting next to the creature withdrew from his coat a scroll that he opened and laid out across the table. On the parchment were blue prints of the city. Dmitri brought a glass to his lips and knocked back a shot of Scotch. He then handed the glass to a prostitute that strode by as she took it from him. While his back was turned, she brought the glass to her nose, sniffing it to see what drink he had consumed before running her tongue across the glass where his lips had been. She smirked impishly at his back before she turned with swaying hips and headed back to the bar on the third floor.

Dmitri snapped his fingers and a red Sharpie was deposited into his hand by one of the thugs as he then scooted closer to the table with the map and began drawing Xs on certain areas of it. “Θέλω μια ομάδα εδώ, μια άλλη ομάδα εδώ, και ένα άλλο εδώ.”

The henchmen nodded slowly. He continued, “Ο αδελφός μου δεν είναι ευχαριστημένος μαζί μου, και ό, τι πρέπει να συμβεί σε μένα,είμαι διάθεση απληστία υπεύθυνος αν δεν επιστρέψουν.”

Placing the cap back on the market, he tossed it upon the table as he eased back into his chair. He closed his eyes irritably as his fingers went to rest against his skull. He was so disappointed to have missed spending time with his wife. The Titans robbed him of that precious moment; in fact, every moment with his wife was precious to him. One of his fears was of her growing to love the pleasures of the mortal realm so much that she’d forget about him. The Underworld was a dull and dreary place, and she was the embodiment of everything he was deprived of the day he had drawn straws with his brothers.

“Συνεχίστε για να παρακολουθήσουν τη γυναίκα μου. Τίποτα δεν θα έχουν αλλάξει,” he added.

Greed grinned and ensured, “Όλα θα πάνε όπως είχε προγραμματιστεί.”

Adrik drove Hermaine around, he liked driving really, but he didn't like having to depend on driving. He didn't like that driving messed up the earth's environment and everything, plus he getting pulled over with a fake ID was never fun. "I mean... I'm legal enough" Adrik shrugged when he was asked if it was good for him to drive. Legally he wasn't suppose to drive, legally he wasn't even a citizen of the united states, but to most people now a days he technically didn't exist. He didn't know about the other god's citizenship, but he never bothered with the paperwork, plus he got to know people quick enough he had connections to get enough fake IDs for the whole country.
While he drove around he felt an odd chill all around him. He knew something bad happened, he knew that something that would change everything just happened, Hermaine just sat next to him checking her messages. He drove Hermaine to her destination and she quickly left.
"Well, car, I guess it's just you and me" he said, adjusting the rear view mirror, he tried putting off that odd feeling he got before Hermes left.. "What'd Herm call you? Jake? Jeff? John?" he wondered aloud. "I'm just gonna call you John" he said, getting back on the road. He petted the car as he sped along. He knew how to drive because of friends, but they didn't have cars like this. They had shit-mobiles while this was top of the line kind of stuff. He backed off the gas a bit and went at a slower speed "let's not get pulled over John, I don't want to see a pretty car like you get impounded" he said, plus a night in jail wasn't something he normally wanted to do. He arrived at the manor in quick enough time and took the keys out of John. He walked briskly into the mansion, still in his human form. "Anyone home?" he yelled, Hermaine said that someone would be home, but he didn't see anyone. He walked into one of the rooms.
"Oh, Hera" he said, looking awkwardly at his shimmering step mother. He stayed in his human form and a dismayed look came over his face as the thought of the weird chill came back up fresh in his mind. "What's happened? something... wrong happened" he said, hoping she would have the answers.

Zeus – Brandon Stone

On the road to the manor

The engine was humming harshly as the god had the pedal pushed nearly to the floor. He crossed lanes—even forbidden ones—and barged through the intersections, passing through red lights and jerking the wheel in either direction that the wheels shrieked. “Son of a bitch!” he muttered angrily under his breath. He then looked up to the heavens and said, “Forgive me mother.” She couldn’t be blamed for giving birth to a controlling idiot. Just thinking about Hades made him grind his teeth. The god rarely ever listened and sometimes he wished he had left him in the belly of their father. Brandon frowned deeply, his eyes narrowing as he thought over what he had wished. If he had left Hades in Cronus’s stomach, then he and Poseidon would have three straws without a third person, and then either one of them might have been ruler of either: the Heavens, the oceans, and The Underworld. Who would want to be Hades? The idea disturbed him. He loved his social life.

The god had been avoiding the police and the traffic cameras, his car flashing like lightning to put a glare in the shot and forcing the cops to frantically blink in order to clear the white cloud from their retinas. When Zeus had reached the manor, lightning struck the gates open, nearly causing them to pop free of their hinges. He was in no mood to wait for them to open. The silver, Audi R8 circled the brick-laden driveway to the front of the manor where Greek-style pillars welcomed him.

Brandon popped open his car door and reached into his passenger seat to draw out his suitcase. He shoved the door closed and stormed up to the manor to get out of the rain that began to fall. He reached into his pants pockets and retrieved his keys before stabbing them into the lock and pushing open the door. It slammed closed behind him and Brandon roared throughout the foyer, “I want everyone downstairs and in the dining hall now! If any of your brothers and sisters are missing, then call them and tell them to get their asses back here this instant! I am not in a good mood!”

Unlike the other gods, he remained in his human guise, enjoying the feeling of being normal too much. He went straight to his room to change from his work clothes into something more comfortable.

Anette listened carefully to what her brother Ares had to say while crossing her legs nonchalantly. Her heart then instantly dropped and her arched eyebrows furrowed deeply, "Damn....", she thought, now angry that her uncle Hades done a drastic measure against the Titans. What was wrong with Hades? Did pride got in the way when he was killing a Titan? Her father Zeus must of been pissed when he got the news, knowing he didn't want to spark the war just yet.

Anette sat in silence for a minute, letting the whole information sink in, "What a foolish move uncle Hades made; killing a Titan without thinking about the consequences. Now the Titans have an excuse to go to war with us", she finally spoke, rage slowly boiling inside her. Anette's lavender eyes then lit up when Ares told her that he was coming to get her; she just remembered Mason was siting right in front of her.

What would Ares say if he found out that she was talking to Mason on friendly terms? He probably would've told her father about it and then their whole plan would foil, going to the waste side."I'm at Café Beaujolais on Sunset Blvd. It's hard to spot at first because it's small and cornered between a major mall and a large movie theater but you'll know quickly off the bat because there's a gigantic sign siting on top of the entrance. See you when you get here. Bye", Anette explained where she was to him and then hung up.

She turned her attention back to Mason, "My brother, Ares, is coming so I think I should go before he get's highly suspicious about the whole situation between you and I", Anette told Mason, watching out for his safety. The last thing she wanted to happen was for their plan to be exposed too soon and then the both of them would have to suffer behind it. It was risky enough that Athena was soon going to know, "I'll try to persuade Athena as best as I can and hope that she'll happily except the plan you made. Contact me soon; bye for now Mason and be safe", Anette finished to him as a farewell.

She got up and walked hastily out of the bistro. She then walked over to her car and stood in front of it so Ares could spot her easily without going inside, looking impatiently for her. Anette sighed deeply while she put her designer shades back on, "The war has waged on and it's gotten even worse...... I just hope it will come to in end soon", she thought worried, folding her arms causally. Anette was right about the war and it was there to temporarily stay.

Mark let out a small snicker while he watched Persephone."I'm sure your mom and some of the others are there, don't worry so much you will get wrinkles ." He let out a long yawn and then snapped his thin pale fingers, producing a cup of wine in a silver goblet in his other hand."You want some? Might help you relax more, though the impending war that your husband caused , I doubt wine will make you feel better. Perhaps some Vodka?" He gave her a brilliant white smile and then scooted closer to her on the seat.

"Hades doesn't have to know anything does he?" He glanced over towards where the driver was, and waved a hand and smiling as he created a invisible barrier that would block any sounds that Persephone and him would create."I'm very good at keeping secrets. You wouldn't have to tell him a thing, and I heard that these sort of, "physical" things are good for relaxation if I might add." He smirked and then carefully brushed aside a stray piece of hair from the Goddess's face.

I think personally I would be a much more gracious husband. You wouldn't have to be afraid with me, you could live on Earth and see your mother whenever you want to. Don't you think that would be much nicer then living in the dreadfully boring Underworld?"

Truthfully he did find himself infatuated with the Goddess , but he wasn't so foolish to believe she would find him just as appealing. Even if he was handsome. As annoying and awful Hades was, he did love her, and that in itself was enough for Dionysus to say that Persephone would reject him. That didn't mean he couldn't give her a quick peck on the cheek though! Wasn't like Hades was here to see.

He moved carefully towards Willow and tilted his head so that he would be at the best position to kiss her cheek. "Just one little peck and even if you reject me, It will keep me content!" He chuckled and continued moving closer.

Persephone raised an eyebrow as Dionysus spoke and her green eyes widened in an alarmed way as he spoke of her leaving Hades."Why in Styx's name would I do that? Contrary to popular belief among the God's I do love him, even if he is a bit...aggressive."She said deciding to use a less harsh word then the one she had been thinking of. She stiffened when he went so far as to brush the hair from her face and then her eyes narrowed in anger.

"Dionysus, don't do anything. I don't want to have to.." Her words were interrupted as the wine god leaned forward as if to kiss her. She didn't want to hurt the flirtatious god but by the River Styx he was sure doing things to change her mind about being a mostly pacifist."I'm afraid I have to reject !" She said pushing herself against the door of the car and keeping her hands behind her.

Her husband was probably already at his max with the whole Coeus situation and she sincerely doubted Zeus would ever forgive him if he killed another Immortal, and his son none the less.

She shook her head and then let out a sigh of relief as felt the car stop."Miss! Were here!" She gave a small glare towards Dionysus and then jumped out of the car, leaving her purse inside the car and Dionysus alone with the driver.

"Men, so freaking annoying. I really should have been made as a tree or something. Much less anger with being a tree!" She mumbled angrily to herself as she stomped inside of the house."DAD! Are you there?" She paused as soon as she saw both Hera and Apollo standing near the entrance.

"Apollo is my mother here? Or is Dad?....Is my husband here yet too?" She glanced down and bit her lip, both wanting to see Hades but also be wary that he could still be in that awful mood, when he had yelled at her.

Apollo looked over as Persephone came in. He gave her a weak smile "Uh, I haven't seen your mom" he said, dragging his fingers through his messy hair. "dad... well Zeus is a bit completely pissed off right now" he said, letting out a short sigh. "He went up stairs and said said we should all get into the dining hall, and I don't want to feel the wrath of the skies, so I say we should go over" he said. Apollo, being in his human form, felt different than when he was in his normal god getup. He was non-confrontational, a bit of a pushover and didn't really like fighting, but in god mode he was more confident.
Apollo saw The light in Persephone's eyes changed when she mentioned Hades. Gods, She's really in love with him he thought to himself. "and uh, sorry. No sign of Hades either" he said, and looked at his shoes.

"Coeus," Typhon rumbled, storm clouds gathered in his eyes once more. He stood under a roof of a noodle stall in China Town. Min, who was busying herself with her kimono, looked over at him, a questioning look in her eyes. "Who?" She asked with concern and curiosity.

"Coeus, the Titan of Intelligence. Unfortunately, he wasn't very intelligent in the end." He sighed softly, and shook his head quickly. Staring back towards where the Olympia electric company's general direction, he willed a small gust of wind to swirl a small cloud around several windows of the building. He was about to unleash a token force of his fury upon the building, when Min walked over and smacked the upside of his head, breaking his concentration. "Ow," he said, even though it didn't hurt.

"Ty," she whined audibly, "You promised." She then tugged on his arm, and dragged him off towards an opera house. There, they spent some time watching a confusing, mostly to him, show about a man who wished to be beautiful, even though everyone had shunned him. Typhon didn't understand what the whole idea, or plot, was about the opera, but, when he looked at Min, he decided to keep his mouth shut, and watch the opera in complete silence. It was soon over, however, and he needn't suffer any longer.
Upon exiting the opera house, she had taken his arm once more, and began to drag him through a busy street lined with vendors of all sorts.

"Min," he said, trying to call her attention to himself. He had to forcibly stop and pull his arm back towards himself, pulling her towards his open arms, where he lifted her up, onto his shoulders. It made her giggle and smile, which made him smile as well. 'One smile,' he thought to himself, 'One small smile to brighten the world, but one drop of blood to ruin it forever.' She began to pat his head vigorously, then pointed off to her apartment building. Upon entering the building, they were assaulted by the stench of raw liquor, which seemed to kill all the hairs in Typhon's nose. "Ugh," he grimaced, "What is that awful smell?" His left hand covered his nose, and he began to set her down. When he looked up, he saw that she, too, had covered her nose, but began to make her way up the nearby stairs. "Min," he whispered, walking up behind her, what are you doing?"

Turning to him, Min's eyes went as wide as saucers, and her energy just oozed with pure innocence. She had reached a door, and began to fumble with it, when a shot from a shotgun roared in the floor above them. The rumbling of thunder clouds soon entered his eyes once more, and the glow of red and orange blossomed behind his teeth. "Min," his voice boomed, and the building shook from his terrible voice, "Fly from this building. It is no longer safe here." Her eyes widened as she watched as his body began to writhe, as though living snakes tried to escape from under his skin. "The war has begun anew."

He watched as Min, along many others, escaped from the building, leaving him alone with his seething rage. "Grow," he commanded his index finger, "Grow, and awaken, O my Son. Grow," the finger began to grow larger and longer. The tip soon erupted, sprouting a dragon's green scaled head. Its teeth grew to the size of daggers, then to swords, and finally ending as long as spears. The body of the dragon, which was now over 16 feet in length, grew many multicolored scales, and made it seem to shimmer in and out of reality. "Go," he whispered, pointing at the ceiling, "Go, and bring our family together once more." He watched as the dragon crashed through the ceiling, tearing through concrete and wood as though it were paper. Screams soon erupted from the floors above, as the dragon fed hungrily on those that could not flee from it fast enough.

"No longer shall I care for these wretched humans," Typhon's voice boomed, "No longer will I hide in shadows, and watch from the sidelines as the world turns without our hand." His body began to writhe once more, growing ever larger, until the ceiling collapsed, and the building began to crumble inwardly. "O Human," his voice boomed once more, "We have given you rope, and you have strangled yourself with your own two hands." Serpents began to writhe from under his skin, and soon shot out from his arms and legs. Clouds began to thunder and grow large and black above him. His mouth became like that of two rows of large swords, and a barely contained fire roared behind them. "O Human. We have judged thee fairly, and this do I say unto you all. I judge thee," thunderous clouds began to wrap slowly around his body, until only his brilliant golden eyes shown beneath it, "WANTING!" The clouds erupted, sending a shock wave of air and force away from the crumbled building, knocking flat every human below, and sending many vehicles tumbling away. From within the clouds was nothing, save for a brief shimmering of air.

The god of war hung up the phone and pinched the bridge of his nose, exhaling as he did so. He did not want it like this, at completely random with no plan of attack, but in the least things were being set into motion after all this time of complacency. It occured to him that this would be the first time every Olympian had been togather in a long time...

He swiped his keys from the desk and made his was donstairs, he then reached his vehicle, a black 2009 Jeep. Aphrodite may think it less "tastefull" than he, but it was a vehicle deployed in wars, and the only "war vehicle" he could legally drive. So it stood to reason-at least for him- to own one.

He was glad his half-sister left such explicit directions, even though he had long internalized the layout of the city, despite its size. When he pulled up to the destination it didn't take long to spot her; she was the most noticible woman in the world. The window slid down and he peered at her asking, "Did you call the others?"
