Rise of The Titans

Rise of The Titans

0 INK

For centuries The Greek Gods have been silent, allowing both humans and other creatures to live their lives . Now the Titans have come forth, rising from their prison and taking forms of humans. The time to fight..is now.(Modern Day RP)

3,276 readers have visited Rise of The Titans since Demented created it.

Introduction

For centuries the Greek Gods have been in a deep sleep, a sleep that was created by Morpheus so that the Gods could be away from their human creations. Many centuries have passed while the Gods were in their dreamless slumbers, and now it is the year 2011.While resting, the ever waiting Titans have risen from the prison which once held them bound and have infiltrated the human world, taking the shape and size of human beings. The world has continued on as if nothing has happened, but the Titans cause pain and suffering wherever they may go, as punishment for the Gods creations. People die by The Titans hands, but more die by the hands of Cronus, Leader of the Titans.
Both he and his follower create tragedy and death even in their human forms. How can they be beaten without the Gods ? What hope does mankind have?
The Titans did not know that one minor God remained awake during all these years. Watching and waiting for the time when he would be forced to wake up his fellow Gods. Morpheus, God of dreams and the one who allowed the Gods their sleep. He has awoken them and now they meet on Olympus.
The Time to strike is now. The Time to end this war....and finish the fighting.
You may choose your side. Be a God and fight for mankind, or be a Titan and fight to end the human existence.
Remember, all choices have a consequence...and you cannot go back.

Alrighty! So basically I made this rp because I love greek mythology! It's a classic Titans Vs Gods sort of Role-play but I decided to make it modern. If you play as a God/Goddess your not going to be wearing those robes all the time. You will have a human form much like the Titans. The only difference is when you're in your God form you become a bit taller and let it a light glow that can burn a humans eyes. So when traveling around the city I recommend human form XD. It's the same characters (though you can make a human if you really want, but I kind of need the God/Titan positions filled up first. You can always have both a human AND a God/Titan.
The Setting is L.A. where the Gods have set up their own kind of Olympus in a large mansion.
Titans also live in L.A. but they live up in an suite in a hotel.
So everybody have fun, don't be mean, and no there are no vampires here. Satyrs, and nymphs....well pm me first..XD

(Roleplay has started! We still need a couple Gods/Titans but if your not interested you can make other characters. Feel free to lurk if you just want to read:).)

Anette spotted Ares' 2009 black jeep in a instant and gave him a half smile when he drove up next to her car, "I called Athena and she told me that she is already at the manor. I tried calling Artemis but her phone went straight to answer machine", she explained to him when he asked that she called some of the others.

She smoothed her hair back and glided her sunglasses onto her head so it could act as a headband, pushing her silken strands out of her face, "I'll follow you back to the manor in my car. I don't trust my car being unattended here", she told Ares as she hopped into her car. She immediately revved up her diesel,"I just hope that our dad isn't too furious", she said as she began to move down the street with Ares in front of her.

She was totally wrong when she hoped that her father wasn't that angry because she knew that he took anger to another level beyond what a mortal could comprehend. Anette followed her brother back to the manor swiftly, not letting his jeep get out of her sight. They finally made it back, 30 minutes, in front of the house. There was a dark cloud hovering over the house making light rain fall down in drizzles.

"He must be here", Anette shouted to Ares as she got out of the car and slammed her door. She walked up to the door and instantly heard voices within inside the house, "Some of the others must be here too", she observed as she turned the door knob and walked in calmly. She left the door open for Ares so he could come in right behind, "Hey, guys. Our father must be here, isn't he?", she asked the others, remaining in her human form.

Prometheus decided to follow Anette. 'Might as well,' he thought. 'Will probably see Athena there as well. And that was Ares...this could be a gathering. Change of plans. Time to make my happy ass scarce.'

With a quick hop, Prometheus flickered out of existence and back into it, on top of the building he'd been in a moment before. Getting a running start, he flew over to the next building and to the next, all the while getting further and further away from the center of the comotion. 'I need to plan,' he reasoned with himself. 'I need time...'

(Forgive this, but I need to make myself as an RPer scarce for a while. I won't be posting much in coming days, but will be back strong on the weekend or next week, depending on how things in RL go. Sorry for the inconvenience.)

"Athena! Are you there? I must speak with you now please."
Athena heard Hera yell, her voice echoing through the Manor. Athena opened her eyes at the sudden outburst and hopped off her bed. There was a tone of urgency in that Goddess' voice..that was certain.
Hera wasn't particulary fond of her from what she had noticed.. perhaps as she was the daughter of another woman?
Due to that observation from over the years, this need to speak with her was alarming.
Athena gracefully walked downstairs and stopped a few steps before Hera. They were both in Goddess form.
"Greetings Hera.. may I be of assistance?" Athena asked politely, trying to soothe the Goddess' nerves or at least comfort her somehow.

Hera crossed her arms and looked towards all the other Gods that were inside of the manor."Dining Hall, now I suppose." She turned towards Athena and waved a hand as if telling her that what she was going to say to her before was no longer important."Come, we have much to discuss." She turned on her left foot and walked slowly towards the dining room downstairs. She had barely noticed while she was walking that her favorite peacock had started following her as she walked. She smiled softly down at it and then gave a curt nod of her head as she moved to sit in one of the golden chairs that were around the large dining table.

Her chair was right next to Zeus's with Poseidon's on the other side of her husbands. She lifted her her dress slightly, as to not step on it while she moved to sit down."No where are Dionysus, and Artemis." She tapped a small finger on her chin and narrowed her eyes as she began to stare out of one of the Manor's large white windows.

"I wonder if this shall be the last time I see this place in tact. For surely Cronus will not be pleased one of his own has been killed." She shuddered at the thought of seeing her Titan father again, remembering the sick feeling of being devoured by -.She shook her head and then waved a hand around as if trying to bat away the awful memories.

"All of this was started by a very jealous man with a pretty wife. Typical"

Ares closed the door behind him and stood still for a moment. His right hand was raised into the air as if holding an object verticly, and all of a sudden seemed to strike it down. A sound little less than thunder bomed throughout the manor, announcing his presence. In the hand which was empty now was occupied by a blackwood rod with a bronze spear tip.

On his left arm he was adorned with his round shield, upon it a graphic of a metal beast. His helm beared the signature hoplite plume which gradiantly changed from red to gold in a pattern across its length. the rest of his armor included writst garuds and onyx chast plating.

His physique trippled he now towered over Aphordite, every muscle that wasn't contained was on display for every one to see. The most stiking feature change however was his eyes, now ambiantly changing from red to gold and back again as his hoplite plume did.

He in the better sence, was now Ares the God of War.

He had never hidden his name to anyone, not even to his contract acomplices; albeit the title of god. The name Ares to them was the same as naming a child Hope or Abraham, it mattered little whether they belived in the old legends or not. Now being amoung his brethren with no one else to see Ares fully shed his decieteful form.

He exhaled a breath as if a burden had been lifted off of him, paying little his head to his half-sister near him he went toward the scorce of the voices she mentioned earlier. He found them in the dining hall; his mother Hera there with his other half-sister Athena. "I take it you both know why we're here?"

Everything was just going down hill; from the incident that just happened to the outcome that was ready to start. After Ares transformed and went into the dining area, Anette's step-mother came down the steps, in goddess form, serious as can be. About everyone in the whole house was feeling the cloud's, over head, gloom of doom. Thunder shouted over the house making everyone feel even more depressed. Anette shook her head in shame and walked into the dining room were everyone else was loitering around.

She saw Hera motion over Athena so they could start making plans for the war. Anette remembered that she had to talk to Athena urgently but decided to wait until at least the gods had their discussion about Hades' ill-fated actions and consequences that were about to come because of it. Anette sat down in a seat near the dining room table and took off her shades that were on her head.

Contemplation took over her mind as she began to think of a good way to spark a calm conversation between her and her sister. The last thing she wanted Athena to do was freak out and warn her to stay away from Mason immediately. Everybody talked amongst themselves while Anette remained quiet, thinking clearly and precisely.

Artemis was already on her way back, as she got the message. It was an off day for her. She knew something wasn't right. She was correct, which wasn't that surprising.

She was always the last one to get updates. She didn't particularly like that. Artemis was always exiled from the group as it seemed. Pulling up in the lot, she quickly bounced out, and ran inside the manor. It was depressing, immensely depressing. It didn't really from all her previous endeavours. As she entered, she heard chattering from one side. The dining room; however, Agatha had to become Artemis.

Frankly, Aggie was unsure of what to do. She saw Hera quickly descending on the stairs, and waited, before trying to sneak up to her room. Although, at one point, she did trip. Once there, she felt calmer. Her hair grew, and changed, shimmering into a gold, becoming curlier. It fell against her hips, as she felt her t-shirt, and jeans change as well. Shifting into a Grecian tunic. She was Artemis. Artemis flew down the stairs, entering the dining room with poise. Hoping no one did realize she was late. A mistake she couldn't make up for.

(Insanely short.. Sorry..)

A breeze was all the mortals felt as Hermaine ran around the crowd. It was tempting to stay in mortal form with the sped she was slowly accumulating. A human's form spiritually and mentally was too limited for the few Gods and Titans that roamed carelessly, lost into the depths of insanity. Once insanity has engulfed your body, it would take millenia for the mind to be at ease. The Goddess of Travel is unaware that her sanity is seething away, hints of her god form are already showing. The Fates had warned Hermes after the gender switch his time was soon to take its cut. Hermes was ignorant to the Fate's prophecies and so he lived his life to the fullest. The risks were always undetected but he knew something was wrong after his last trip to the Underworld.

In the modern day Hemaine has heard of fairy tales if you get picked up by a group of fairies, never take a meal offering. If a mortal chooses to eat the food and dance with them then their soul is tied to the other realm. When she heard of the story, she couldn't help but think to the Underworld. The herald messenger was restricted by Hades to go to any places other than the ones his guards allowed him to pass for. On the night of the dead, those spirits in Purgatory were allowed to go to the surface for a short hour. Hermes took that time to sneak past the distracted guards and take a canoe to as far as he can. It turned out Hades felt his presence as soon as he was on the river and set it so that he rowed in circles. As he got out of the boat he caught a short glimpse of a woman in rags, she appeared translucent with long hair.

The lady took two steps toward Hermes, her aura pressed down on his God form pressuring him to back up against the stone wall. Her withered fingers pointed to an area behind the God, when he looked back all there was was his shadow from the candlelight. Hermes looked back to the woman, she disappeared leaving behind a thin wool bracelet with the letter [H] written on a bead. Hermes pocketed the bracelet, he delivered the messages and met up with his Uncle. Hades grew suspicious of the female more than the bracelet, not wanting to bother him about it, Hermes left.

"Damnit, that was the third opening closed." Hermaine threw her frustration into the tree. Before mortals were suspicious of unnatural occurrences, Hermes placed small gaps to the Underworld which were usually hidden by small borders. 'Persephone must have noticed the rips through the Underworld and the other Realms.' Hermaine studied the smooth ground, she was positive the opening was in this area and not off 50 kilometers to the right. The marking on the willow tree next to it supported her point,'Why isn't here? AGGHH!' She threw the boulder at the willow tree, and to her surprise it didn't break. The spot where the willow tree should have snapped tore to the size of a sunflower, shadows flew out lengthening to grab Hermaine.

They caught her by the arms and ankles, one shadow hissed back at the touch of the bracelet. "I don't need escorting." Hermaine hissed at the dark bands engulfing her arms, she dug her heels to the dirt embracing the sharp pain like needles. A woman in white walked from behind the opening, her beady eyes stared wearily at Hermaine like she was remembering a nightmare. The lady parted her dry lips, her voice came out in rasps, "State your purpose."

"Permission....to see Hades." Hermaine's mortal form could only stand so much in the state transitioning into the Underworld, at this point she focused on breathing than strength. Shadows, there were shadows everywhere. They crawled under the trees, slithering, squerming to get closer to her.

"State your purpose." It was just a slight movement but Hermaine caught the hesitation in her eyes, they gazed wearily at the black strands then quickly to the bracelet and then to Hermaine's face.

"Tsk, that's what you wanted all along. You want me to break these bands, don't you? I could see it in your face....like an open book. You know just as well as I do that I don't stand a chance, striking when I'm mortal. Coward, Hermes would have saved you, Liza...he...he..would revive you, give you flesh. Hades..he would never suspect, a loyal messenger coming and going. Please, I'll lend you my blood. Stop the pain..s-stop it!!" Hermaine found it more difficult to breath, the shadows stayed clear from her left arm but the rest were covering every inch of her torso and legs. Her red eyes stared into the depths of white ones, her head dropped low. "Heh, did you believe me?" Hermaine crained her neck to the side, her layered hair covered most of her face but Liza was able to make out her brown eyes. The shadows recoiled by groups, quickly uncovering her bruised body.

"State your purpose." Liza's voice wavered slightly, her job as the ferryman was tedious and she was not informed of the Goddess trying to enter. Hermaine's posture stiffened, her fists clenched and unclenched, "Uncle Hades. I have a message." They stood silently as Liza contemplated on her decision, finding no another reason to refuse she walked inside the opening. Hermaine followed quickly fingering the bracelet, "Row me to land, and from there I can handle myself."

Hermaine stopped short in front of Hades, dust clouds covered her from the knees under. Reflexively she did a slight bow and a nod to the others, "Zeus wants us at Pegasus Manor. The others are already there, it seems a war is coming."

Hades – Dmitri Ruslan

Private Fourth Floor - Madame’s Strip Bar (Brothel)

(Sorry Cloud, I posted where Hades was several posts back. He wasn't in The Underworld so if you missed that post, it's still there. He's in Madame's.)

The demons, minions, and henchmen left their boss alone to sit within the center of the lounge area, while they lingered about the chairs and tables hugging the walls and whispering sensations into the ears of the succubae and incubi. Hades remained in the chair he had been in before. His arms rested along the armrests with a shot of Jack Daniels in one hand and the bottle in the other. Upon gazing at the shot glass, it made him feel disappointed that he was unable to share a drink with his wife. He turned the glass with his thumb and fingers, staring with eyes racked with fatigue from his long day. About now, he would have preferred the Cabernet Sauvignon wetting his tongue and perhaps the lips of his queen.

At the doors of the bar, the bouncers had first made a motion to stop the young girl who had boldly stridden in as though she might have been expected. Surely not; she was but a teenager, and probably just entered high school. About her though, they had sensed the presence of a god, and not just any god, Hermes. His female guise had puzzled them, but they asked no questions and she would tell no lies. One of the bouncers tore from a roll of paper at his hip a bright-yellow bracelet that they wrapped about her wrist. Regardless if she were a god or not, to the eyes of mortals, she was only a minor.

β€œHe’s up on the fourth floor,” the bouncer informed. The Underworld knew of Hermes’s importance to their lord. He helped escort lost and fresh souls to Charon, and thus was treated like a VIP despite his…current alteration.

As Hermaine made her way to the fourth floor, she would hear all sorts of noises: laughter and the obscene. The main show was on the first floor with half-naked women twirling about poles and shaking their bare hips for their dollar-tossing audiences. On the fourth floor, there were several rooms, but they were all dead silent. A bouncer dressed in a suit and tie stood before the door to a private den, and upon seeing Hermaine, his lip cocked in a manner that read: What the fuck? But as the young girl neared, his brows lifted in disbelief at the god presence that began to thicken strongly around him.

The bouncer stepped aside and warned, β€œThe boss isn’t in a good mood.”

As the girl would enter, she would find a stairwell of only five steps that lowered her into a den. The lounge area was right before her and the smell of secondhand smoke still permeated the air. Dmitri gave one look at the girl that had entered his den and glanced left and then right to his henchmen who gave him startled and oblivious stares.

β€œWhat is this?” Dmitri questioned. β€œWho let this fucking kid in here?”

There was silence and as the young woman approached, the mafia boss arched a slow brow. The presence was familiar but the woman that stood before him was not who he was expecting. He was unaware of the Hermes and Aphrodite incident that had morphed his mortal form into a woman. When it came to the world above, there was a major lack of communication. Hades didn’t converse with the gods or got involved in any of their affairs, and they didn’t stick their noses in his business.

β€œHermes?” he queried. He had spoken the god’s name aloud for the only creatures that shared the private room with him were Underlings. His hazel eyes continued to probe the teenager curiously until his lips curled in mirth. A snicker ground behind his nose and his lips slid back to flash his white teeth. Dmitri hung his head as his grip tightened on his shot glass and the bottle of Jack. He then threw his head back as his body shook from the laughter that erupted forth.

Zeus wants us at Pegasus Manor. The others are already there, it seems a war is coming.

Hermaine had tried to inform the god, but Dmitri was sliding down in his seat. He beckoned one of the prostitutes over with a wave of his shot glass as the woman from before took his glass and the bottle of Jack from him. Dmitri rested a hand upon his burning abdomen, his insides ached but the humor had been refreshing. He wiped his eyes and then exhaled softly.

β€œGods that was brilliant,” he muttered. He then sat back up in his chair and tilted his head to the side as he prepared to respond to Hermes with the response he always gave whenever Zeus tried to invite him/demand he show at any of his occasions. β€œOver my dead fucking body.”

As soon as the mafia boss made that comment, a loud boom of thunder shook the foundations of the brothel and the power within the entire establishment shut off, bathing everyone in darkness. Dmitri sighed in exasperation. He was going to lose business this way. β€œAll right,” he agreed, and the power flicked back on. Douche bag.

The mafia boss stood and leisurely started for the steps with one hand dipped in his right pants pocket with his thumb poking out, and the other swaying to his stride. β€œYou can tell, Brandon that I am on my way.” He knew Hermes would reach the manor before him. He could have shadow-walked his way there, but he wasn’t sure he was ready to confront his brother yet. He had a hunch the meeting wasn’t going to be pleasant.

"Come, we have much to discuss." Hera said to her, turning on her heel walking slowly towards the dining room. Athena, slightly confused followed. It was apparent that something important or at stake had arisen as she entered the room finding herself at the company of other fellow Gods and Goddesses.
Among them were Artemis, Aphrodite...Ares. Athena shot a glare at Ares with strong hatred as he approached her.

She hated her half brother for many reasons.. among them was their differences.
Ares was a violent God, interested in the chaotic side of war: bloodshed, mayhem, panic and strife. Athena was a Goddess who was more reserved and an intellectual whom specialised in the art of war: tactics and strategy. For justice, not for the fun of countless deaths like her half brother.
As they both have focuses on war, there was also a hint of competitiveness between them. Maybe even more so than a 'hint' existed...

"I take it you both know why we're here" he said. Athena raised an eyebrow. "No I have no clue what you are referring to but I wouldn't be surprised if you started a war for the hell of it" she snapped at him before taking a seat at the table. She breathed in and out slowly trying to maintain composure. She despised his presence.

Hera gave a small shake of her head and then folded her arms."Were obviously here because someone in the family had the gall to kill a Titan, and I want to know what could have possessed your Uncle Hades to such a thing!" As she spoke her usual dark blue eyes turned a violent shade of purple and seemed to burn brighter then ever before. To say she was merely pissed could have possibly been the understatement of the century. She turned towards Athena and smiled lightly."This isn't your brothers fault actually. " She raised an eyebrow as Athena stared down Ares with a rather disgusted expression on her face."I know you two don't get along and heaven forbid I don't get along all the time with everyone, but I think this is a rare time that we all need to set aside our petty differences and do our best to try and....help each other out of this." She grit her teeth and then began to rub her temples with her fingers.

"Your very temperamental father is upstairs in his room, probably changing or breaking things so he should be down shortly.I believe Dionysus should be here shortly then when Hermes returns from whatever he...or she or...OH WHATEVER when Hermes returns I'm sure we can discuss everything."

Hera's eye returned to their normal dark blue and she leaned back in her chair, dangling her pale legs one over the other."Someone should contact the Fates about all this soon..."

Setting her white box-framed sunglasses down onto the table gently, Anette watched Athena give Ares looks of great disdain. Mostly everyone in the house was giving each other a hard way to go and Anette could since the hostility grow. How were the gods going to function with trying to maintain peace for mankind when instead they were quarreling amongst each other over the pettiest things that were long gone dead in the past.

Anette hated to say the phrase in her mind, because how cheesy it sounded, but "Can we all just get along?". Morphed in their god forms, the gods should be more peaceful-minded and should know how to work together in a time of crisis with little to no complaint. Anette sat back in her chair and smoothed her honey blond hair back calmly. Anette made the decision with Mason, not too long ago, that she was going to remain on neutral terms so to exercise that cause, she remained in her human guise until otherwise.

"I know you two don't get along and heaven forbid I don't get along all the time with everyone, but I think this is a rare time that we all need to set aside our petty differences and do our best to try and....help each other out of this", Hera irritatedly said to Athena and Ares with much contempt for the whole "panic" situation as a majority.

Anette folded her arms and crossed her legs indignantly, "Hera's right; we should all work together, as a main goal, to bring peace and order back to planet earth. Let's set aside our differences and try to quell all things hatred against one another, even if it's for once", she added with much enthusiasm. Anette was tired of her family fighting with each other endlessly and she tried to express that with much discomfort as possible.

"Because if we continue to argue and fight, the Titans are going to feed off that negative energy and use it against us. They will gain more power by it and will become even stronger, overthrowing us with much ease. Then the whole world will immensely perish along with us, defeated gods....Do any of you want that? I certainly do not", Anette finished off seriously, remaining quiet yet again. She set her light lavender eyes onto the window outside and watched with much sorrow as the rain thrashed against the window wildly.

Demeter had been waiting impatiently at Pegasus Manor, irritated that the damn god of the Underworld hadn't brought back her daughter. Truthfully, how hard was it for him to see that his wife would be happy if she got to see her parents from time to time? Even if Zeus didn't openly show much care - which he did sometimes - that their daughter was married to that fiend, this goddess wasn't ready to hand over her daughter just yet. Even after all these years she still hated the idea. The nerve Hades had to steal away her daughter like a thief. Then again, you could never get much lower than that lust-filled monster.

From the chair she sat in in the dark corner of one of the back rooms, she could have sworn she heard voices. Distant of course, but definately voices. It was only several more moments before she heard her daughter's impatient voice yelling for her father and asking questions. Demeter shot up from her seat and raced down the hallway to greet her daughter. Without any warning what-so-ever, the beautiful brunette threw her arms around Persephone and embraced her fully.

"Darling, oh I've missed you!" There would never be another mother who loved their child more than Demeter. Even if the father of her child was Zeus - she still wasn't too proud of that, but he had a way with things... - she'd give up anything to see her happy. She pulled back slightly to examine her daughter's beautiful face, but it faltered as she noticed the blood stains on her shirt. "Persephone, what happened?" she asked, aghast. "Are you alright? Has that devil hurt you?"

Ares glared back at his half-sister, all too ready to accuse him of wrong doing. His mother clarified that it was Hades who literally fired the first shot, and also tried to dispell the tension in the room, "Anette" reiterated the message. The God of War glared at all of them and said in a low voice, "Don't lecture me on what has to be done. You know, despite popular belief, I came here to get down to bussiness and not dick off unlike some people." His intent was on Athena and under his breath he muttered, "Pretentious bitch."

He had little patience with the goddess, always pretending that she was so much wiser and better than others esspecially him. Dwelling on meaningless generalities and overcompensating her own faults with her "intelect", when in truth they had little practical means of accomplishing anything. She was not immune to pride, she was just more subtle about it, or in this case blatent.

His vision spread to all present in the room and continued, "I have been preparing for this since we awoke, hell this war is the reason we woke up in the first place! And you want to lecture me on working together for a common goal, when all of you were playing "lets fit in"? Am I really the only one who saw this coming? The war was unfinished! It never stopped in the first place! This is supposed to happen!

AND I'M THE ONLY ONE WHO FUCKING PREPARED FOR IT, WHILE ALL OF YOU WERE PLAYING DRESS-UP! SO DON'T ANY OF YOU LECTURE ME ON WHATS IMPORTANT LIKE THE HYPOCRITES YOU ARE!" His eyes were seething in anger and rage, his voice boomed through every hall in the structure so that anyone within could hear loudly and clearly with no mistake in his choice of words. And roared Ares at the ceiling, "YOU LEAST OF ALL ZEUS!"

He didn't care weather or not this made his father angry or his mother unhappy, he didn't care if his words struck a chord, they were supposed to, for they were the truth for him; undeniable. His eyes went back to Athena for one more time and said, "And don't even start. Anything you say won't surprise me in the least bit, it'll be the same song and dance as ever. Nothing in this fucking family changes."

He had been looking for an excuse to rant like this for a long time, and he siezed it as soon as he saw it. All formlity and faulse politeness that the others embraced, he had been thrown out the window. Likely there would be "hell to pay", but it was better to him than maintaining thier rediculous and faulse self-image.

Dionysus let out a small and short laugh as he watched the lovely goddess fly out of her car."Well, when the going gets tough the tough use sneakier methods!" He grinned as he also stepped out from the car, ignoring the flabbergasted look of the driver probably wondering how Dionysus got inside of the vehicle.

He wandered into the Manor, nearly falling back in his human form when a very fast Demeter launched herself towards Persephone."Persephone, what happened?". "Are you alright? Has that devil hurt you?"
. Dionysus turned towards his Aunt and shrugged."You know this would have never had happened if she had just married me. Buuuuuuuuuuut no! She had to go and get taken by the Lord of the Dead. How cruel the world is sometimes. Like I said you could always reconsider and plead to Hera about getting a divorce from the man." Dionysus shot a small smirk towards Persephone and then gave a small wave at his Aunt before going downstairs to follow the others.

"Oh marvelous! Looks like were preparing for war!"He said sarcastically as he walked casually over towards his throne near Aphrodite's."It is rather sad that the only time everyone in this little "Family" gathers together is when someone dies or there's a war!" He said exclaiming in his usual loud and sarcastic way.

Truthfully he disliked most wars. The only time he ever chose to fight was during Prohibition act, but that was more of a man VS THE MAN sort of thing.

Hera raised an eyebrow as she watched her son practically yell until she was sure his voice would run out."Are you done my angry little preteen? Or perhaps would you like us to wait a bit longer while all that frustration? "Hera tilted her head and gave her son a brittle smile before standing up."Do you think I feel calm at the moment? No I don't. I feel like killing everyone single Titan and my Brother for starting this. I however find that keeping your temper during situations like this is the best thing to do. Not act like a child throwing a tantrum and blaming other for things. So do not think to raise your voice towards me...Ares..."

Hera eye's lit up once more and she glanced around the table at her fellow Gods and Goddess's.She watched as Dionysus scurried in and she rolled her eyes."I'm assuming Persephone and Demeter will be with us shortly then." Hera turned her head and glanced at the window, watching as several clouds swirled around in a more fast paced manner then usual.

"We cannot argue during this War. My easily angered son was right about one thing however. The war was never truly over. It won't be unless either side is completely destroyed.."

As she spoke she saw one of her peacocks come out from wherever it was hiding and move towards Hera, flashing it's tropical colored feathers in a excited manner. Hera bent down and stroked the creatures head, a small smile now spreading across her elegant face.

"We need someone to speak with the Fates...."

She turned towards them and then let out a sigh."We need some sort of help and the Fates have always been there for us...well..most of the time.."

Her son scoffed at her, "And that "mother" is the hypocrisy of which I speak. All of you are children, always playing your little games, I believe I have a right to be angry after all of these eons. I no longer hold any respect for anyone here, and even less faith. It was not a tantrum, its had a long time coming, and I will raise my voice to you, to dad, or anyone else thats failed to act in all of this time. I think not myself privalged, I should have done what Hades did in the first place and ended this myself if I had to. I am almost as much to blame for my inaction."

She spoke to him as if he were still only a child, but in his mind he had grown far more than any of his brethren, though horridly blunt he may be. "I am ready however to discuss plans, I merely wish none of you to treat me as a hormone driven adolecent, incapable of doing a man's job."

Then, one of his least favorite people, though he had few favorites to be fair, Dionysus in all his impertinent glory slithered in. A useless god who fancied only entertainment. "There is no 'we', only I and the few others who will actually fight. You have no place here. Leave."

His mother suggested the help of the Fates, but Ares couldn't help but protest, "What will that change, if they already know what is going to happen? But go ahead if you wish, if you want comfort."

Ares then spoke again, putting on the biggest emotional "hissy-fit" he could ever display. Was Ares that highly emotional with how he went about things? Because if so, it wasn't going to help get things done by getting all "upset" over it. The thought made Anette rub her forehead with much annoyance. Anette knew that the war was going on; it just turned for the fucking worse. How long was everyone going to put up with it without driving insane? Ares already flew off his rocker...or he already have and he just unleashed it more with high theatrics. "No use crying over spilled milk", that old saying played in Anette's mind like a broken record.

Anette then saw Demeter embrace Persephone with much tenderness. The lovely little display made Anette's heart feel a little warm inside. Anette couldn't remember the last time she was nurtured and highly cared for by her mother. All vague recollections of her were tossed in the wind when she was immediately enthroned on Mt. Olympus. How sad it was for Anette to leave all thoughts of her mother behind just so she could have a clearer mind on how to be a "successful" god.

While the two continued to embrace, Dionysus came into the dining room and took a seat next to Anette, talking with much stupidity loudness. Anette couldn't help but grimace at Dionysus when he commented on Persephone to Demeter on how he could be a better husband than Hades. Anette shook her head involuntarily and tried not to let everyone else's petty situations faze her. All she wanted to do was listen to her father and go about her "merry" way to help end the war.

Hera then suggested that they should ask the Fates for help. Ares was right about that little factor; how were the Fates going to help when they already held the strings of all of the god's and the Titan's destinies in the palms of their hands. Ares then was highly annoyed of Dionysus' presence and immediately told him to leave. How true the story was for Dionysus. He never really helped with trying to stop the war; all he thought about was plotting to have Persephone for himself. How petty and ignoramus of him.

Anette slouched in her chair involuntarily and waited patiently for Zeus to make his appearance so they could get the conference into motion without further delay. The last place Anette wanted to be was around bitchy attitudes who were worrying and hollering about their own pitiful problems. There were much larger dilemmas in the world to worry about besides themselves! After grueling and antagonizing centuries waned, all of them still have yet to learn that, unfortunately.....

"Very mature Ares... very mature" Athena commented raising an eyebrow at him for his sudden and unreasonable outburst. "Pretentious bitch" she heard him mutter under his breath. Under the table, Athena was clenching her fists. If it wasn't for Hera intervening, her fists may have come into use.. or preferably her spear.
It wasn't a wise course of action but it was a very satisfying idea.
"I agree with Hera.. we should seek the Fates on this matter and decide whatever else from there.." She turned her head noticing the entrance of Dionysus as he sat down beside Aphrodite.
"There is no 'we', only I and the few others who will actually fight. You have no place here. Leave." Ares demanded at him.
"You're being unreasonable Ares!" she yelled at him. "We are all Gods and Goddesses here and thus have a place at this table and in this war!" She yelled more then breathed in and out trying to calm herself.
"We, as they said.... need to work together. The world needs us... the humans need us" she said softly.
"It is rather sad that the only time everyone in this little "Family" gathers together is when someone dies or there's a war!" she realised Dionysus' words.
She turned her head to him. "Yes it is very sad..." she said then glared at Ares.
"Are you one of us God of War? Or a Titan!"

Persephone held tight to her mother and then glared at Dionysus. Se turned her emerald eyes on Ares and smiled slightly."I do wish everyone could stop getting so angry. Ares, I agree that perhaps as a God I should have done something instead of just trying to fit in. " Persephone clutched her mothers hand and then turned her body to face the others."I envy mortals. I envy them because every day is so precious, because they know that they won't live forever. "

Small tears began to pour from her cheeks and she moved her left hand to wipe them away."I am envious of them, because I want to be them. Maybe you all like being Gods. Maybe some of you feel like I do! The matter is that we can't change who we are but I know for certain that I want to help these creatures we call humans survive. Even if it means my own death."

Persephone walked towards Ares and laid a small hand on his shoulder, flashing her angelic smile towards him while a few tears remained on her face." Big brother we do need your help. We need everyone's cooperation in this. No more fighting, no more anger. We just need to win."

She shook her head and then rubbed her eyes once more, feeling slightly shameful for crying in front of everyone. She missed her husband, and wished that he would hurry along to get here.

"So...sorry I just thought I should get my opinion out there..." Persephone gulped slightly and then nervously chuckled before looking at the ground and avoiding the other Gods eyes. "

Zeus – Brandon Stone

Pegasus Manor

SILENCE!

On a crack of thunder and a flash of lightning, the Father of the gods appeared in the dining hall dressed in an open, flamboyant orange and red tropical shirt, with a white tank, and brown khakis. Yeah, he was dressed pretty colorful for such a serious time, but perhaps, his fashion would calm everyone down. With a hard frown on his face, he strode to his seat at the head of the table, not sitting, but standing before his chair. His throne wasn’t a dinner seat. He removed his matching, orange-tinted shades and folded the legs before stuffing them within his inner-shirt pocket.

β€œI can hear your bickering for miles, and it only represents what I tried to prevent. Not only a war amongst the Titans but amongst my own children and siblings,” Brandon explained on a voice that rumbled like an eager storm. He rested his fingers upon the banquet table and closed his eyes briefly as he mused on how he was going to sort this mess. β€œAs most of you know by now, the war has officially begun. The Titan, Coeus, was slain by my brother Hades. I am unaware what might have compelled him to lash out, but knowing my brother and his temper…similar and less annoying than my son’s…” He shot a glance to Ares. β€œHades doesn’t get angry so easily, but we will hear his case when he gets here.”

Brandon raised his head as he gazed about the hall at his brethren. β€œThere is no need to argue about this. While I tried to maintain the peace barriers to no avail, the war still happened as The Fates said it would and thus our destiny to fight is inevitable. We have made the first move; all that’s left is for the Titans to make theirs. I don’t want any of you leaving the manor without escort. If you can’t find an escort, then you are not permitted to leave. I don’t care what kind of mortal schedule you had planned: photo shoots, school, sports, dating…it doesn’t matter anymore. Your lives are what matters now and you must live to ensure that the Olympians are triumphant in this war.

I will suggest that my non-combative children also stay in the manor and open your ears for emergencies. If any of the gods are harmed or in need of assistance, you are to seek them out and bring them back safely. I’m not asking you to fight but to rescue your family.”

β€œNow, I want accountability of all those who shall be taking up arms to fight in this war.” He knew his brother Poseidon would, Ares of course, Athena…but he wasn’t going to personally call out who he thought should have been active participants.

Hades – Dmitri Ruslan

Pegasus Manor

The mafia boss strode into the manor, his polished shoes clapping rhythmically, their sound resonating throughout the foyer as he turned into the archway to his left. He entered the banquet hall, having heard the ending quarrel of his nieces, nephews, and possibly, brothers and sisters. Zeus was laying out a plan of action, and he saw Demeter holding Persephone so protectively. On the inside, it made him grimace greatly, but outwardly, Dmitri wore no scowl. He loathed Demeter almost as much as he loathed everyone else who despised him.

There was no seat for Hades at the table. The manor had been their home, and he hardly cared for their indulgences when he had to run the Realm of the Dead. As he stepped up to the end of the table and gazed down its length at his frustrated brother at the far end, he spread his arms and would have done a fluid twirl on his heels, but thought that his facetiousness might have angered the god more.

β€œI’m here,” he announced, and he couldn’t resist the masochistic smile that curled upon his lips. Masochistic, amused, and curious to what his brother would have to say. There wasn’t much he could do to him that he wouldn’t enjoy or feel indifferent to. His role bestowed upon him enough suffering and neglect.

Anette couldn't help but have much sympathy for Persephone when she expressed her feelings and emotions about the war. Anette was proud of her for standing up and exercising her rights against the war, "I'm with Persephone; she speaks the truth!", enthusiasm tumbling from Anette's cupid's bow pink lips.

Thunder overhead outside started to rumble even louder and Anette then knew that her father was near. Everyone in the house remained silent as Zeus finally made his presence known. Anette rose an eyebrow when she saw her father dressed in colorful clothes that looked highly comical contrasted to his grave seriousness. She couldn't help but slip a small smile at his apparel, "Oh father...", she thought with little embarrassment, shaking her head slightly.

He began to converse with the gods and goddesses with much vigor and firmness that everyone else didn't have any room to put their own "two cents" into it. Anette was highly moved with what Zeus had to say and nodded with all his citations about the war and what they had to do to keep safe.

When Zeus' main speech came to a close, he demanded that everyone stay in the manor at all times unless they had an escort or bodyguard with them. They had to put all of their mortal works aside and put their immortal lives into action. And lastly, gods and goddesses, who were anti-war, were to protect their family at all costs regardless if they were fighting or not.

Anette was least frustrated by this and knew that she had a duty to fulfill, "Yes father.", she briefly said, obeying his orders and demands wisely. She then noticed uncle Hades come strolling in calmly like nothing fazed him to the least. Anette gave him a small look of distaste and anger before she turned her attention back to Zeus. "Here comes the troublemaker; I wonder what he's going to mess up next?....", Anette thought, loathing his presence because of that true fact.

"I will remain silent in all matters pertaining to the war but I will help out my family when assistance is needed."

Ares was ready to shoot back at Athena, as he stated nothing she said surprised him in the least but...

The God of War had not expected this; Persephone getting her opinion in. Unlike the others who were ready to pass off his strong opinions as "Ares being Ares", instead she implored him to quell his anger and at least listen for the sake of the people he wanted to protect. And it actually struck a chord with him.

Her eyes stared at the grond, and Ares stance loosened, she was in tears...she called him brother...no one ever refered to him as a brother without distain in ther voice. It was as if she actually considered herself real blood with him, and not just another half brother. His spear hand laid the weaponon the table and traveled to her chin lifting it up to meet his eyes, "That is exactly what I was trying to say, I just..." For once a pang of guilt welled within him, he hesitated a little but managed to say, "You're right, and I envy them too. Don't worry we'll handle this and everyone can just be in their merry way I promise." And uncharacteristicly he gave her a reasuring smile, tender and understanding. She must have seen her husband kill the Titan.

He released her and looked to the rest, swallowed his pride and said to the others now regaining his steely gaze, "I'll get on your asses later, as I said I didn't come here to be a dick, I came here to resolve this." His vision traveled to Dionysus, "Except you, your still just an ass."

His father barged in barking as he always did and a deep scowl appeared on Ares lips, pretty much stating what he himself was trying to get across, and all of it painfully obvious. "I will fight, no shit there," he answered Zeus' request for accounability.

Then Hades chimed in,and the scowl on Ares lips converted into a knowing smile; he couldn't wait to see how Uncle and Dad would react to eachother.

Artemis didn't speak. She didn't even glance at her relatives. She just listened.

She listened to all the insults Ares, and Athena shot at each other. When Dmitri strolled in, Aggie didn't even cast a second glance in his direction. Too preoccupied in what was actually happening. War. Actually, it kind of pissed her off. Everything in life was sort of like a domino effect. One thing setting off another. This theory was something that lived in her mind. It was one she thought about many times. Agatha casted a glance at her father, and Hades, and then everyone seated around the table. Aphrodite, Ares, Athena, Persephone, Dionysus, just all the Olympians.

Her lips curled into a small smile. We can win this war. The thought slithered through her opened mind. Artemis finally found herself paying attention.
