Could somebody tell whats happening, in English?
(Sorry, I just don't get it.) (Is this an error of some-sorts?, Out of the blue?, Could be a virus or DDOS attack?)

I have no idea, GreatOldOneCthulhu. I'm just doing what Rem tells me to help fix the problem. As soon as we know exactly what the problem is we'll be updated as it looks like Rem isn't getting the same problem as we are O.O;

There's several people that are able to get into chat just fine; but no one else can. For example, if I log completely out, I can log back into the site and get into the site just fine.

This leads me to believe that this is a DNS issue from the server changes I made this week. Cloasse's observation was correct, we did change the address of a couple things, but it should be smooth and painless because we handle the changes automatically on our side.

For those of you running windows, open a command prompt (Click your "Start" button, go to "Run" (or just type in the search bar): CMD -- press enter.)

You should get a scary looking black window. In this window, type the following:

Code: Select all: ipconfig /flushdns

Keep the window open, then try chat when that is done. If it doesn't work, do this:

Code: Select all: nslookup www.roleplaygateway.com

and give me the output.

Something weird is happening for me. Whenever I try to do the nslookup http://www.roleplaygateway.com thing on the run box, the black box that appears disappears as soon as it's finished, so I can't write down the results. Is there a way to stop this?

How're you opening the CMD? Issy suggests trying to run it through system32, but I think that might just do exactly the same thing.

As long as you're going Start - Run - CMD - type commands then it should be fine.
